	What's Happening: Jun 13, 2009 It is almost the middle of June and we have yet to see much of the summer weather - even Florida didn't cooperate.  I really wish the schools would go back to the old schedule - what fun is summer vacation when all it does is rain!  Today looks good though and so far next week too, so hopefully we can finally check out the pools.  Our rummage sale did pretty well on Thursday, but it rained yesterday so we closed early and got ready for the Dart Team Barbecue.  Everyone had a good time and thankfully the rain stopped so we could be outside for awhile.  Callie's birthday is coming up - she is going to be NINE!!  She is almost a tween - wow how time flies. She has decided instead of big party this year, she wanted to invite a friend to go camping with us so that is what we are doing this week.  I am really hoping for sun but either way the girls are excited to go, as am I!  Callie started tennis and I decided to sign both girls up this summer for swimming at the local pools, something I haven't done since Callie was in preschool.  Julia is talking about trying HipHop in the fall and a few parents have approached me about starting a Girl Scout troop for her class as well so I am pondering that too. . .  But for now we will enjoy the leisurely days of summer (ha!)
