12/31/2005	Happy New Year's Eve! We went to the First Night Celebration this year. We made crowns, saw two mimes, a clown, a puppet show, had dinner at Red Rosa (thanks to Daddy's gift certificate)and counted down with lots of other kids at 7:30! We came back home and Mommy gave us sparkly 'wine' and we played games. Julia went to bed at 9 but I stayed up until the ball dropped on TV. Mommy also told us all about a New Years Resolution and how it means you should try to pick something to do better. I told Mommy I would rinse out my toothbrush better and Julia said she would play better - Mommy is hoping that means play nicer!
12/30/2005	Daddy took today off so we could play! First we had to help him shovel because it snowed last night! Then we played and took naps and finally it was 5 and Andrew, Abby, Matt, and Megan came over to play. We ate supper together and played all night long! Julia and Abby had lots of fun playing with the Cinderella castle and Andrew and I practiced our instruments and when our moms and dads finally got done playing games they came and listened to our concert.
12/29/2005	Julia had her first playdate with her own friend today-Abby from Kingdom Kids asked her to play at the Pavillion. Mommy dropped me off at Gillian's house first to play and Julia was super excited to see Abby and she even played very nicely too! Afterwards they came to get me and we all went out for lunch. We both took good naps when we got home so we could stay out late tonight because after supper we went to the Skyforce game! I was very involved this year - I kept track of the score and who was ahead-I even sang the Star Spangled Banner at the beginning and knew almost all the words (because we sing it everyday at school after we say the Pledge!) Julia liked the dancing and all the music but she was very scared of the blimp so Daddy had to distract her by trying to find Thunder (the mascot) every time it flew above us. The game was tied at the end and had overtime so everyone was screaming and there was lots of music so we had a lot of fun and then our team WON!
12/28/2005	Julia and I played much better today so Mommy was quite proud of us. We gave Mommy season two of one of her favorites shows (Party of Five) so she wasn't too motivated to leave the house today (LOL!). After supper Mommy said we could watch her new movie, Annie, but I decided Miss Hanigan was too scary and I kept covering my eyes when she came on and then I told Mommy I was tired and wanted to go to bed. She had also promised me a campout night - she thought it would be fun to sleep by the Christmas tree but I wanted to be in sleeping bags in my room so that is what we did - until 2am and I decided I wanted to be back in my bed so Mommy went back to hers too!
12/27/2005	The cats broke their new toy already! They sure had fun playing with it though. We played again all day long. Julia and I had quite a few sqabbles so Mommy decided maybe all day kindergarten isn't such a bad thing after all because she had quite the headache by the time Daddy got home! I even told Mommy I missed my teacher.
12/26/2005	We said our goodbyes to everyone last night because Aunt Bridget left super early this morning before we woke up and Grandma and Grandpa left too. We played with our new toys and Mommy found homes for all of them. She thinks my favorite toys is my Lite Bright because I have done about 10 sheets already but I told her I liked them all! And she said all these new toys are making Julia hyper because she kept going from one thing to the next. Daddy was going to take us to the Pavillion to get us out of her way but at the last minute she decided to come with and it was lots of fun because there was a whole new exhibit on the fourth floor!
12/25/2005	Santa came! I woke up at 7:15 (Mommy was quite surprised I slept in that long on such an exciting day) and then we had to wake up Julia at 7:30 because I couldn't stand it any longer. Julia ran down the stairs yelling "my castle!" and I was very happy too that he brought my Barbie head and my Doodle Bear! Then I couldn't believe it (and I told everyone later how CRAZY it was) but Santa brought me the cleaning trolley I saw in a magazine but didn't even ask him for! We played with our new things until 9 and then we went swimming at the motel again until lunch time. Grandma and Grandpa came back over to eat sandwiches with us and then Uncle Tom came over to play! He even stayed for our Christmas dinner and brought over Spinach dip and bread too (and presents too!). Aunt Bridget and Grandma made pasta and we all had wine (Julia and I had kids' wine!) and then Daddy had bought Cheesecake for dessert - yummy!
12/24/2005	Merry Christmas! We took our baths and put on our Christmas dresses this morning and then met Grandma and Grandpa at Red Lobster for our traditional Christmas Eve lunch - yummy! Then we came home to take naps but Julia refused! Mommy was impressed that I did (second day in a row!) so I went to church with Grandma, Bridget, and Mommy while Julia stayed home with Daddy and Grandpa - it was a children's service with a play but I was most excited about holding the candle during Silent Night! We came home and got out all the snacks and treats and started our party! This time Julia wasn't patient and ripped thru all her presents very fast and kept asking "where is another one?" We made sure to leave cookies and carrots out for Santa before bed.
12/23/2005	We had our Christmas this morning!! Daddy had brought donuts home last night after darts and then we started opening gifts. It was lots of fun and we took time to play with each toy before moving on to the next one. We took a nap after lunch and then we headed over to the motel to see Grandma and Grandpa Robinson. We went swimming and then ordered pizza and ate in their room before coming home to bed.
12/22/2005	Today was red day at school! Aunt Bridget came to eat lunch with me and my teacher said right away "OH you must be aunt bridget, we have been VERY excited for you to get here!" My friends all chatted away with her and kept asking her if she was my mom. Of course then when the they said it was time to line up Bridget witnessed how serious I take that because I just took off without saying a word to her (Daddy has already figured this out because I do NOT like to be last in line if the bell rings when he is around). Bridget went back home to play with Julia then and Mommy came to work at our party. We had a snack (we decorated our own cookie and then ate it) made a craft (we decorated a snowman with eyes, glitter, and beads) and we played two games (Pass the Present and Pin the Nose on Rudolph). It was fun and afterwards Mrs. Davids gave us all presents - a book and letter magnets!
12/21/2005	It was green day at school today so I wore green of course! The ladies from Heartland House came and picked up the gifts we brought them (I brought a barbie) and they told us all about it. Mrs. Davids came over afterschool and picked up the computer Daddy gave her! Julia had her Christmas party at Kingdom Kids today and Mommy & Daddy came to pick her up so she could give them her Christmas present - some cocoa that she helped scoop and mix together & a 5x7 picture her teacher had taken of her all in a pretty bag that was decorated by Julia! There is one more thing they get but Cathy said it was going to be late so they have to wait. Aunt Bridget came today! We went to the airport after supper to pick her up and wow was it crowded. It took a long time to get her bag so we didn't have much time before bed - I had a hard time going to sleep but was finally out by 8:15!
12/20/2005	Daddy was sick today so Mommy got to take me to school today. It was my turn to take snack so we brought the oreo balls that I helped make and my teacher loved them so much she asked Mommy for the recipe when she picked me up! I told Daddy he didn't even miss computers because we were too busy to go to the lab today. I brought home a present for Mommy and Daddy but I put it under the tree and told them they had to wait! I helped Mommy make more oreo balls and gingerbread men tonight and then we made goodie bags for our teachers. Julia and I had already made Reindeer bags to put them in and we added a gift card for a teacher store!
12/19/2005	We are working on writing a story in school so I told Mommy it was a very hard day today! When I got home from school Mommy's friend Stacy came over and so did Dena, Gillian, and Adam. After supper we got our pjs on and Daddy drove us through the Yankton Trails Park - it is all decorated for Christmas - Julia really liked it and kept asking "what's next?" after we stopped to see each display.
12/18/2005	Mommy and I made Christmas wreaths this morning and then Daddy took me and Julia shopping. We were playing so nicely and giving each other butterfly kisses (nose kisses) and then Julia didn't like that I was wiggling my nose at the same time so she grabbed my head and tried to bite my nose! Luckily Daddy caught her in time and Mommy told her she needs to be nice otherwise Santa won't come. We met Andrew, Abby, Megan, and Matthew at Chuck E Cheese tonight for supper and playtime!
12/17/2005	I was very excited that I could just play all day today! Mommy said I had to take a nap though so I wasn't very happy but then she said I could stay up later and make cookies with her. After Daddy left for his Christmas party, we went to the grocery store to get our ingredients and Santa was there! Julia was very excited and ran right up there to sit on his lap but I told Mommy I already did that and didn't want to do it again. After Mommy put Julia to bed we made yummy oreo balls with sprinkles!
12/16/2005	I was Student of the Day again today!! Mrs. Davids started over by putting all the names in the bucket and it was my name she drew - I told Mommy "I could hardly believe it!" Julia went to school today since she is starting to feel a little better. She was playing in the kitchen with the pretend cucumber and told Mommy, "look a coupon!" - Mommy thought that was pretty cute. Daddy made us supper tonight and took us out for ice cream since Mommy was gone and I was quite upset she didn't stay to celebrate my half birthday with me - I even thought we should be going to Chuck E Cheese!
12/15/2005	I was Student of the Day today so I was very excited because I had kept telling Mommy that it really should be my turn again soon. We made stockings in school and had to write on them what we wanted for Christmas. Julia didn't feel well at all today so she cried a lot and Mommy napped with her - everytime Mommy tried to get up, Julia would wake up and cry so Mommy gave up and napped too. I brought home a new book I had to read Mommy and Daddy - they are amazed at how many words I can sound out now! I am in a reading group and we bring home new books every other day to practice with. I am also writing a lot of new words in my journal every day too and I "illustrate" it as well (Grandma Robinson couldn't believe I knew the word illustrate when I told her about it over Thanksgiving - she was quite impressed!).
12/14/2005	Daddy sure surprised us this morning because he was here! He came back late last night while we were sleeping because the roads were too icy to make it to Minneapolis. Mrs. Hartman, our principal, came in to read us a story today! I got another baseball card in PE today (we get one whenever we do an extra good job!). Julia was sick all day so she and Mommy mostly rested and watched TV. When Mommy picked me up from school we went and got her medicine that the Doctor had called in so hopefully she will feel better soon! After supper, Mommy and I went shopping for toys for the Angel Tree and for the Heartland House.
12/13/2005	Today was my field trip to the Veteran's Hospital so I was very excited. First I had Daddy help at computer class and then when I got back to our room, Mommy was there to help drive us! Uncle Tom came to babysit Julia becuase she wasn't feel well and so Mommy didn't want her to get Gillian and Adam sick. We took a tour of the hospital and then we handed out our cards to all the patients. They were super excited to get our cards and we had some left over so then we went to the clinic and passed out the rest in the waiting room - we even sang Jingle Bells and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer to them too! After supper, Daddy had to leave for Minneapolis and Mommy put me and Julia to bed at 7 without any complaints because we were super tired!
12/12/2005	I felt much better this morning so I went to school and it was nice out so we had all outside recesses! Mommy and Julia went shopping and after her nap they came to pick me up from school. Julia and I played outside for awhile together. After supper, Daddy and Mommy drove us to Falls Park to see all the pretty Christmas lights and then we had to see how the Zip Tower looks - they started using the wrecking ball on it now.
12/11/2005	We slept in until after 8 this morning and then had breakfast and went swimming. The pool was fixed so it was much warmer and Julia even swam in her floatie! We had to pack up and then everyone left their own ways - we stopped to eat lunch before leaving town and finally got home around 4:30. I was feeling much better today but by this evening I was really stiff again (yesterday I could hardly turn my head and it was really worrying Mommy and Daddy!) so Mommy just isn't sure if I am going to be ready for school tomorrow or not.
12/10/2005	This morning we were anxious to eat breakfast and go swimming. The pool was really cold so we just sat in the hot tub and then went back to get ready for the day. I wasn't feeling very well still so Daddy said we should rest and watch Star Wars while Mommy and Julia went with the rest of the gang to the Mall of America. They all split up so it was just Mommy and Julia for awhile and she did a good job shopping with Mommy - she even took a nap in her stroller! They met Aunt Michelle for a snack and then split up again. Daddy and I came to the mall after a short nap and we all met up for supper at Bubba Gump's Shrimp Restaurant and then we went back to the motel for our party. We had lots of Christmas cookies and Julia and I even had some presents to open!!
12/9/2005	Today was our Minneapolis trip - Mommy and Daddy felt bad taking me while I was feeling sick but Daddy said I could rest a lot in the motel with him. We met up with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey, Uncle Tom, and Aunt Michelle downtown around 3 and saw the Cinderella display first. After that I was feeling crummy so we had to find tylenol and then we took a taxi to Bucca Di Beppo's (it was me and Julia's first taxi ride!). After supper, we walked a few blocks to the parade - it was sure neat and Julia and I had fun waving to everyone. Daddy of course was cold and complained a lot! Grandma bought us fun light up toys and then we headed back to our cars and to the motel where we went to sleep pretty quick (the grown ups stayed up to play games though).
12/8/2005	I was very excited today because I had my friend Kathryn over after school! I gave her a tour and we played in my room for an hour and then I came out and Mommy thought I looked really tired. I couldn't think of anything to do so Mommy had to give me ideas and then a little later it seemed really quiet and Mommy found me sleeping and Kathryn looking for a game! So she woke me up and played games with us until her Mommy came to get her. When I didn't eat supper, she took my temp and found out I had a fever so we went to the doctor and I have strep throat! So I got a medicine to take and went right to bed.
12/7/2005	We had our buddies come today and help us make Christmas Cards for the Veterans in the hospital - we are going to go visit them next week on our field trip! Mommy has been busy calling parents to drives us there and she is trying to find helpers for our Holiday party too! Julia made a special present for Mommy and Daddy in school and she didn't even tell them what it was - she sure is good at keeping it a surprise! We helped Mommy sprinkle dipped pretzels afterschool and then we met Daddy at the mall so we could eat and visit Santa! Julia was nervous but she still went and sat on his lap and told him all about the BIG castle she wants.
12/6/2005	I felt much better today and went back to school. It was SO cold we had all inside recesses today. Daddy was surprised when he got there after lunch because there wasn't even a teacher watching us - only one that was going down the hallway checking in on all the rooms! Mommy and Julia picked up Dena, Gillian, and Adam and took them to the library puppet show and then out to lunch because their car is in the fix-it shop. The puppet show was about the Shoemaker and the Elves - Julia sure liked it.
12/5/2005	I didn't have a fever this morning but I still wasn't feeling great so I told Mommy I better stay home. She wasn't sure I should since I was playing with Julia quite a bit and seemed 'lively' but I told her I would stay in bed and rest and I did - I even took a nap after lunch so she was glad then that I was home. Uncle Tom came over and gave Mommy his old cell phone because hers broke - he even had it activated with her phone number already!
12/3/2005	I woke up not feeling well - Mommy said I had a fever so she gave me medicine. By lunchtime I insisted I was feeling good enough to go see the building blow up so we all went and found a good spot. While we were waiting though, I started feeling icky again and wanted to go home so Daddy took me to the car and while we were getting in, BOOM the Zip Feed Tower (our tallest building) was blown up. BUT they didn't do it right and instead of falling over it fell down just a little bit and leaned over the side so everyone was disappointed. Julia even started yelling "that is NOT fair!" which people thought was pretty funny. We came home and I rested all afternoon with Daddy and then I felt a little better so we played games after supper.
12/2/2005	Julia made an angel in school today and they played with snow in the water table! Mommy did Christmas shopping and then Daddy came to get the truck so she stayed home after that. He picked me up from school and worked from home the rest of the afternoon because it was snowing and yucky out again. We decorated the Christmas tree after supper and I was very excited to put my Herbie ornament on from last year!
12/1/2005	We had to take Daddy to his car this morning and then Mommy dropped me off at school. Mommy and Julia played all day today and then after I came home, we met Andrew, Abby, Megan and Matt for an early supper! We got home in time to say good bye to Daddy before he went to darts and then we went to bed.
11/30/2005	Julia learned about the angels today in her school and she made a paper nativity set! I played basketball in gym class (actually it is P.E. - I keep trying to correct Mommy but she still calls it gym). It started snowing a LOT when Mommy came to get me so Julia and I were excited to play when we got home. Mommy pulled us down the driveway on the sled over and over and we even had races. Julia was even a little better walking in the snow today too! Daddy couldn't get home from work it was so icky out and his car doesn't go up hills very well. A policeman had to stop traffic so Daddy could turn around and go back down the hill since he couldn't get all the way up! He tried another way and couldn't make it that way either and even crashed into a snowbank so he decided to park the car at a nearby grocery store and Uncle Tom came and picked him up and brought him home - by then it was almost our bedtime!
11/29/2005	School was two hours late today so I had time to help Daddy shovel our driveway before I got ready to go. Mommy and Julia took me and Daddy came to my computer class not long after I got there! Julia was excited for me to come home so we could play in the backyard because we have lots of big drifts to climb! She had a hard time walking though and Mommy kept having to pick her back up when she fell so they finally went back in and I stayed and started building a fort by myself.
11/28/2005	There was NO school today because they said it was going to blizzard and by lunchtime it started! Julia and I painted today and then Mommy and I played games while she napped. Daddy came home early and we made our gingerbread houses (well Julia picked a train so she and Daddy worked on that). Mommy decided Daddy is truly crazy because he insisted we go out to eat even though it was still snowing and blowing out! So we did - there were even two other people in the restaurant but the three stores we went to afterwards were all CLOSED! Julia was pretty funny today - she told the waitress that Mommy was going to throw her in the garbage and then she told her that Mommy watched a sad movie and cried because the girl's arms and legs didn't work!
11/27/2005	We went shopping today and Julia got new tennis shoes and I found my new Christmas dress shoes. It was raining and dreary all day so we watched a movie before going to bed. Mommy said there might be snow when I wake up - yippee!
11/26/2005	Mommy and Daddy came to pick us up this morning and we told them about all the stuff we did last night. We decorated our tree with Grandma that we decorate every Thanksgiving with her and then we all slept in the living room together - what fun! We went back to Grandma and Grandpa Ivey's house and then all went out for lunch before we had to head home.
11/25/2005	Mommy woke up super early this morning to go shopping (she won't tell me what for so I think it is a present for me!) and then when the rest of us woke up we went to Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin's house to visit and then to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house for Thanksgiving lunch (I made sure to correct everyone on this numerous times because people kept calling it dinner!). We played all day and then Mommy and Daddy left to go out for dinner and to a movie and we got to have a sleep over all by ourselves!
11/24/2005	Happy Thanksgiving! We ate lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey today and then played all afternoon! Daddy even took me on a four wheeler ride! We went to visit Great Grandma Ivey after supper too and then it was time for bed.
11/23/2005	Happy Birthday Grandpa Ivey!! We made our turkey cookies today for all the grandparents and we helped Mommy pack our suitcases for our trip too.
11/22/2005	Daddy came to help today again and he met our new student, Ann, because she came with her Mommy to get started today. I was mad at Mommy today because she forgot to send my library book so I couldn't check out a new one - but I told her I still loved her. After school, we went to the Humane Society to put my blankets under the tree and of course we had to visit the cats there too! Then we met Jason, Alyssa, and Abby for supper. Mommy had our whole house decorated for Christmas so I was sure surprised when I came home!
11/21/2005	It was slipper day in my class today so I wore my new slippers Grandma Ivey made for me and I took my other pairs to let my friends wear them. Julia and Mommy did lots of shopping while I was at school and then when I came home, we worked on crafts and I finished the tie blankets for the kitties. We read lots of stories because every night I get read to for 20 minutes, I color in a state on the map and when I have ALL 50 states colored, I get a prize from our principal.
11/20/2005	Mommy was quite impressed - I still slept until 7 this morning! Daddy took Julia and I shopping and we picked up Uncle Tom too - then we brought lunch home for all of us - 7 kids meals from Burger King! Of course we were disappointed to find out we got five Kit Fisto's and two spaceships - not much of a variety! After Julia's nap we went to the Christmas Tree Festival and saw Andrew, Abby, Matt, and Megan there. We had our faces painted, played games, looked at neat Gingerbread Houses, and watched some dancers (Julia even started crying when they stopped dancing she liked them so much!).
11/19/2005	I didn't want to take a nap today while Julia laid down and Mommy wasn't really in the mood to persuade me so I painted with Mommy instead. Then we went to Chicken Little after Julia woke up! It got over around 5 and I fell asleep on the way home so Mommy and Daddy decided to let me sleep and see what happened. I woke up at 7:30 to eat supper and STILL went back to bed at 8 when Julia did! Boy was I tired. . .
11/18/2005	Mommy was the helper today at Julia's school! They were talking about thanksgiving today so Mommy took pumpkin muffins and jello leaves for snack. Julia was really good today and not clingy like last time Mommy helped so she was glad! I was super tired and cranky after school (end of the week so this is usually the case) - Julia didn't even want to get me from school because she told Mommy I was mad at her - that made Mommy feel pretty sad. After supper we went to Kids' Night and we saw Gillian - I haven't seen her for SO long so we jumped in the inflatables and played some games together. Julia and I both fell apart at 8 though and cried on the way home and cried going to bed so it was a stressful bedtime.
11/17/2005	I had my special K-Kid day - I could invite anyone I wanted to come to my class for the last 30 minutes of school. So Mommy, Julia, and Daddy came and boy were the kids excited to see Daddy! Mommy thought it was pretty neat that they all wanted to talk to him. We showed the class the journal I wrote in to tell about what Robert Bear did at my house. Then Mrs. Davids asked Mommy and Daddy questions about my favorite things and if they guessed wrong, my friends could see if they remembered. Mommy brought licorice for everyone and then it was time to go home (and Mommy couldn't believe how long it takes for all the kids to get ready to go!).
11/16/2005	Julia was still feeling icky so she and Mommy missed Kingdom Kids today. It was SO cold I had to have two inside recesses today. I was late getting my coat on after school so when I went outside and didn't see Mommy I started crying! Meanwhile Mommy was waiting for me in the truck (like she told me she would) and started panicking that I took the bus. She got Julia out finally and went looking for me and finally found me - it was scary for both of us!
11/15/2005	It snowed! I got my snowboots out right away and of course Julia wanted to put her 'raincoat' on and come play too but she was still sick. Mommy said she let Julia nap in her and Daddy's bed today and then when Julia woke up she started crying and looked so sad as she said to Mommy, "you left me!" - Mommy felt pretty bad then. I rode the bus home since Mommy didn't have a truck (it is in the shop again!) and then I played outside by myself. Mommy brought a big pan of snow inside for Julia to play with so that made her happy.
11/14/2005	I was excited to go back to school today! I took my favorite pictures, my baby outfit, and my favorite book today since I am the K Kid of the week! Daddy came home early today so that Mommy could go to my conferences and then she had to work at my book fair - she said it was super busy and her legs were sore when she got home! Daddy took us out to eat with Uncle Tom and then we realized Julia was sick and had a fever so she took some medicine and went to bed.
11/13/2005	We went shopping today and then out for ice cream since Daddy was feeling better! We even played outside for awhile and Daddy lowered my bike seat so Julia could try to ride it - I am too big for it now so I guess I will need a new one next summer!
11/12/2005	Mommy and I started making our blankets today - I tied two sides of each one and Mommy did the other sides. Mommy has been painting some more of her village houses and she let Julia and I each paint one too - then we helped her set it all up. Daddy says she is crazy because she is listening to Christmas music already!
11/11/2005	We went shopping this morning so I could pick out material for the tie-blankets we are making the kities at the humane society! I picked blue and a tye-dye pattern. Daddy came home at lunch time because he didn't feel good so we all napped at the same time (but seperately so we didn't get his germs!) and then we played outside all afternoon! Julia even learned how to drive the jeep by herself - but Mommy still has to help her steer. We watched Cinderella after supper and we were supposed to have a family camp out in the tv room but Daddy was sick so he went to his bed and Julia decided she wanted to be in her bed so it was just me and Mommy - but it was still fun!
11/10/2005	I slept in until almost 8 so Mommy was happy I got some extra sleep. We went to story time at the library and Julia showed me all the dances they do there since they are different from when I used to go! Then we met Daddy at Burger King and guess what? They have STAR WARS toys again - 18 different ones! So we were very excited and Mommy said she can guess where we will be eating at for awhile. Daddy had darts tonight and we had our Survivor Night - popcorn and pop and tv - yippee!
11/9/2005	We have been learning a lot about Veterans Day and our flag lately. Today we made red, white, and blue paper chains and then had to practice our counting. My table ended up with 71 - table one had the most - 105!! Next week we are going to put them all together and see how far they reach. Julia had blue day today at her school and she played in the water table. We went with Daddy to get his hair cut after supper and then Mommy let us stay up a little late (8:30) since we don't have school tomorrow and I even decided to sleep in my sleeping bag next to Robert Bear!
11/8/2005	I rode the bus home yesterday and today because Mommy's truck is back in the shop - I sat next to Ethan and told Mommy that he wanted to kiss me again! I am the NEW K Kid! I brought home Robert Bear in his very own backpack and I get to keep a journal of what he does with me the next week. Then next Thursday, Mommy and Daddy can come to school to talk about Robert Bear's visit! I get to take pictures to hang up on our bulletin board too!
11/6/2005	Daddy had to mow and Mommy raked all morning so Julia and I played outside too! We jumped in the leaves and played in the sandbox until it was time for Julia to nap. She was too tired to eat lunch so we all decided to wait until she woke up and then we went to Chuck E Cheese for her party (because she is starting to use the potty chair!). Then we went shopping and she picked out new princess underwear!
11/5/2005	Julia can count to 11 now and she is doing pretty good on her ABCs but she still skips some letters. At least she doesn't yell NO when we start to sing them now. She went potty again this morning but started to get really scared again - usually she sits and tells Mommy her "butt isn't working" so when she potties for real she gets scared and doesn't want to go anymore. AND I can tie my shoes all by myself now - Mommy and Daddy are pretty impressed. Grandma and Grandpa Ivey surprised us after our nap and we went out for supper to celebrate Mommy's birthday - the waitress even brought her a piece of cake!!
11/4/2005	Julia had purple day at school! Mommy had to drop the truck off at the fix-it shop so I rode the bus home today and I found out my buddy from school gets off at the SAME bus stop as me! Mommy rotated all our toys around so Julia had lots of fun playing today with her 'new stuff!' Jason, Alyssa, and Abby came over for supper and to play - it was fun but Julia and I got really tired so we went to bed at 9.
11/3/2005	Julia went potty again this morning - right when she woke up! She got scared though and wouldn't try it again the rest of the day - Mommy says it just takes awhile. Julia and Mommy went to ToddlerTime at the library and then after school we all worked on crafts. Julia and Mommy played too and left me alone to finish up and so this afternoon was much better - usually Julia and I fight every afternoon when I get home so Mommy decided she needs to be more involved with our play and also let me have some alone time too since I have been around people all day.
11/2/2005	Our buddies (from the older class) came and helped us make Veteran's Day Cards. I made one for Uncle Chuck! Then we read stories together again - I told Mommy I can't remember her name but she sure yelled my name a lot when I walked thru her class for our Halloween Parade! We played a new game in gym class today - the Oscar Grouch game. And this month we are learning about Laura Ingalls Wilder (each month we learn about a new author and read their stories - last month was Norman Bridwell).
10/31/2005	Adam and Dena came over to play with Mommy and Julia today and then it was finally Halloween Night! I was so excited to trick-or-treat that I skipped watching Zoom. We walked to lots of neighbors' houses and Julia was really good about saying trick-or-treat and we took turns ringing the doorbell. We saw Darth Vader trick-or-treating and Julia sure thought that was neat! When we came home, we had some kids come to OUR door so Julia and I passed out candy to them before going to bed. Happy Halloween!
10/30/2005	Mommy and Daddy let us stay up last night until 9, hoping that we would sleep in until 7 and not even realize the time changed but it didn't work - we were up at 6! I wanted to go roller skating again so we decided to go at 1 since Julia was refusing to nap. Of course she was tired and clingy there so Mommy didn't get to do much besides take a few pictures but Daddy and I had fun! AND my classmate, Alex P, was there so we skated together for awhile! We roasted pumpkin seeds when we got home and then watched some tv before going to bed at 7pm!
10/29/2005	We were all very tired today so we laid down for a nap and I slept 2 1/2 hours, longer than Julia even - this school thing just wears me out. After we all woke up, we went shopping for awhile and then took Mommy to Red Lobster since she only got McDonalds yesterday for her birthday dinner. We came home and carved 5 jack-o-lanterns and then Julia and I had a camp-out in my room with our sleeping bags - she even fell asleep in hers this time!
10/28/2005	Happy Birthday Mommy! Julia made a cute pumpkin in school today (it was orange day) and I had my Halloween Party! Mommy came at 1:30 to set it all up and help the kids put their costumes on. We paraded through the older kids' classrooms and then came back to play our games. We split up in four different groups and went through four stations: Bingo, Beanbag Toss, Story, and Snack. We got to frost and spinkle our own cupcakes and then eat them. It was sure fun and then we came home and had Mommy's party before getting ready for ZooBoo. What a busy day! We even ate at the brand new McDonalds on the way home from ZooBoo and then Mommy went out with friends to celebrate her birthday more.
10/27/2005	Julia had a Halloween party at the community center today. She listened to stories, had a cookie and juice, and then made a Halloween bag by gluing a ghost and pumpkin on a black bag! Mommy's friend was there with her two year old, Charlie (Lexxy's little sister), so they sat next to each other. It sounds like they had a fun time! Mommy took us to the zoo today after school so we could buy ZooBoo tickets and then we had to check out the baby rhino - she is super cute!
10/26/2005	Mommy had quite the scare today! We were downstairs playing and when we went up, the door to the garage was open! We realized Skittles was missing so I told Mommy I would go out and look for her and of course Julia followed me. Mommy said she would come too but wanted to grab the food bucket in her bedroom first to shake it (the cats always show up for that) but when she got outside, she couldn't find us! She was super nervous and yelled for us and ran around the house but we weren't anywhere to be found. She didn't know what to do or which way to run but finally she saw us coming back home - we thought we should go to the park to find Skittles but I changed my mind about 1/2 way there since we only had socks on and no coats! Needless to say, Mommy had quite the talk to us and after that we finally found Skittles in the back yard - she was super scared and howling so we just had to shake the food and let her come in on her own and then she hid under Mommy's bed for a long time!
10/25/2005	Julia went potty in the potty chair today!!! We were all very proud of her. She had practicing all day so Mommy was getting tired of running to help her - she insisted on wiping and flushing every time - then when Daddy got home she decided to sit on her little chair and she went for real!! I went to the office today and found my glove - I lost it yesterday and Mommy was upset since it was my first day I had worn it so she was very happy that I found it! Mommy also found out why we have been so cold in the mornings lately - she turned the fan on instead of the heat so all this time we have never even had our furnace turned on!
10/24/2005	I made a witch in art class today! Julia and I played outside after school and then after supper, I had my school roller skating party. Daddy and Julia went out for ice cream and Mommy and I went roller skating. They had a small rink for beginners so we practiced a lot and then I actually did it without holding Mommy's hand - she was very impresed. We even went on the big rink for awhile with my friend Derek! I also saw my friends London and Ethan there - it was late when we got home so Mommy is afraid I will be very tired tomorrow.
10/23/2005	We went out for brunch with Uncle Tom this morning and then we all went bowling! It was sure fun and Daddy and Uncle Tom were trying hard to beat each other - Daddy won!! Julia was really excited to try it this time and they even had shoes her size.
10/22/2005	Daddy took Julia and I shopping while Mommy went to work this morning and then we came home and all took a nap. We stayed home and played after that until bedtime and I decided I wanted to camp out in the living room. Mommy set up our beds but Julia wouldn't go to sleep so finally she went back to her bed and then later I decided to just camp on the floor of my room because the tv was too loud downstairs!
10/21/2005	I was very excited to go back to school today! Julia had a fun day at her school too and Mommy got lots of cleaning done. After supper, we all went to Kid's Night and played games, won prizes, and we jumped in the inflatables too!
10/20/2005	I woke up with a gunky eye so Mommy decided I better stay home and go to the doctor. I was very mad at first but then I started playing with Julia and decided it wasn't so bad. I got eye drops and by bedtime my eye was looking better and the Dr. said I could go back tomorrow - yippee! Julia and I napped together so Mommy let us stay up and watch all of Survivor while Daddy was at darts.
10/19/2005	It was Green day for Julia today - she painted a turtle! I had Buddy Day today - we have older kids come and pair up with us. Last week we read and this week I drew a "portrait" of her and she did one of me! After supper Mommy went out with Dena and so Daddy played with us and made us malts before bed!
10/18/2005	Mommy and Julia went to the playgym today that I used to go to! They met Dena, Gillian, and Adam there too. Daddy had meetings all night so we didn't get to see him tonight but he was at my school for computer class. After school, Mommy took me and Julia for a bike ride to the park, then we got our hair cut and went out for supper! Julia started a sticker chart yesterday for only using her pacifier at nap/bedtime and she got a star both days!! Mommy and Daddy are very proud of her - but Daddy teased Mommy that the chart might be more for Mommy to keep her from giving in! It makes Julia happy to get a sticker though!
10/17/2005	My bus comes earlier now so I decided to just go with Daddy instead - I could hardly get out there in time before and now it will be REALLY hard! I drew a halloween picture in art class today and we had yummy footlongs for lunch. Julia had a painting class today at the community center - they painted with pudding, colored cool whip, and frosting! Mommy said she did more tasting than painting but it was still fun.
10/16/2005	We went swimming again this morning and then we went to the toy store to look around until the restuarant Mommy and Daddy wanted to eat at opened. We ate LOTS of yummy food for lunch and then headed home. Julia and I had a hard time going to bed so Mommy let us sleep in her bed as long as we didn't talk and we didn't! We both fell asleep next to each other right away - Mommy thought we looked pretty cute.
10/15/2005	We woke up early this morning and had to eat in the breakfast room right away and then we went swimming! We had the pool all to ourselves so that was fun and then we went to the Mall of Amercia. Daddy took us to Camp Snoopy to ride on the rides while Mommy went shopping. We even ate lunch by ourselves and then Julia was getting super tired so Daddy had to call Mommy to meet us to go back to the room. I even fell asleep on the way back too and Mommy and Daddy were able to carry us both to our room (on the fourth floor even) without waking us up! After our nap, we went to Erin's house. They grilled us a great supper and we played and did crafts there until it was bedtime.
10/14/2005	Julia and I didn't have school today so Daddy took a vacation day and we all went to Minneapolis for his cousin's wedding. We were all tired after getting there so we took a nap at our motel before the wedding and then got to the church just in time! We sat with Daddy's aunt and uncle at the reception and with a couple from ANOTHER country! (Denmark) so that was fun! Julia and I were both very excited to dance and we did the Hokey Pokey and the Chicken Dance before deciding we were quite tired and wanted to go back to our room to sleep.
10/13/2005	It was my turn to bring snacks today so Mommy made pumpkin muffins for the morning and I took cheese cubes and crackers for the afternoon snack. I made a neat spider crown in art class! Julia and Mommy went to Toddler Time at the library but she was really shy this time so she didn't get up and dance with the other kids. We had the vegetable parfait for supper that ZOOM made the other day! Mommy chopped up green & red peppers, cucumbers, carrots, and celery and then we made a homemade dressing. We each got to scoop the veggies we wanted in our cup and then drizzled the dressing over it - yummy!!
10/12/2005	I told Mommy today that we play Power Rangers at recess and I am the pink one AND I brought home a Weekly Reader! Mommy remembers getting them when she was little so thought it was pretty neat they still have them (of course they are much fancier now). Julia didn't have school today so she and Mommy went shopping. After school, we took Skittles to the vet for her shots and then we met Daddy at the mall for supper so Mommy could work.
10/11/2005	Mommy and Julia went shopping this morning while I was at school. Daddy came to help our class in the computer lab again. He said it was funny how all the kids who sit by me try to do the games I am doing (currently I like word searches) but they all struggle with them while I just click away. Mrs. Davids told Daddy that Mommy gets an A+ on the letter she sent all the parents in my class - she is starting to organize my Halloween Party!
10/10/2005	I didn't have school today so we went over to Gillian's house to play this morning! We were having SO much fun that when it was lunchtime, I didn't want to leave. Dena told Mommy it was ok if I stayed longer so I ate lunch with Gilian and we played Barbies while Adam and Julia napped! When Julia woke up, she and Mommy came back to get me. After supper, I played outside on my new horse swing Grandma and Grandpa gave me while Daddy mowed.
10/9/2005	We went out for donuts with Grandma and Grandpa before they left for home and then came home and had a lazy day. Mommy was sick so she slept most of the day and Daddy had to fix his computer so Julia and I did a great job playing by ourselves.
10/8/2005	Grandma and Grandpa took Julia and I out for breakfast this morning - it was Julia's first time and she had fun! We went shopping too and then came home for a nap before meeting Uncle Tom for supper. My Halloween costume came in the mail today so I tried it on for everyone - I am going to be Jesse from Toy Story 2!
10/7/2005	I rode the bus again this morning - I usually do on M,W,& F now because that is when Alex does. We had the talking police car come visit us at school today and we played the fox and hound game in gym. Mommy helped in Julia's class again and since it was still yellow week, they took yellow jello jigglers! Julia was much happier and so Mommy had a fun time playing with her today. Grandma and Grandpa Ivey got here just in time for supper and Uncle Tom ate with us too!
10/6/2005	We played muscial beds last night - the wind was howling so Julia and I were scared. First Julia climbed in with Mommy, then after awhile Mommy was crowded and slept in Julia's bed, then I wanted to be with Mommy in Julia's bed, then Mommy went to my bed and finally had to go back to her bed to be with Julia again! My field trip was today and Mommy was one of the drivers so Derek was able to come with us and three more of my friends too. We rode on a haywagon, picked out a pumpkin, threw gourds in slingshots, went through a cornmaze, played duck, duck, goose, and had a snack before going back to school! The teacher said I could go home early since my Mommy was already there so we went to pick up Julia from Kim's house. Julia ate lunch there, played and even took a nap! We waited until Andrew came home on the bus so I could play with him and then we came home for supper, bath and an early bedtime because I was sure tired out.
10/5/2005	Mommy helped in Julia's class today and since it is yellow week, they wore yellow and took bananas for the snack! Julia had a couple of temper tantrums there and the teacher said she has never seen her like that so I guess it was only because Mommy was there. We had a lock down drill today - I told Mommy that is in case any bad guys ever get in our school. We have to lock our door and hide in the corner where there are no windows so they couldn't see us and we have to be super quiet so they can't hear us either! I made it into the Good Manners Club and got to decorate my ribbon with glitter!
10/4/2005	Daddy came to school early today for computer class and watched me play at recess so I introduced him to my new friend, Hannah. It was my friend, Alex's birthday today and he brought pumpkin cookies for a snack - yummy!
10/3/2005	I was the Student of the Day today!! I was SO excited because I kept thinking I was never going to be it - my name was the last one in the jar so it was a long wait. I sat in a special place (but I told Mommy I kept forgetting to go sit there), I was the line leader, I handed out napkins for snacks, I got special colored pencils & pens to use, AND I wore a crown all day! At circle time I also got to use two sentences for "Find the hidden words game" we play so I had the teacher write about Julia biting me in the bathtub. Oh and since September is over, I brought home my journal and Mommy was SO impressed with it! We color and 'write' in it every day - she especially liked the picture of the Statue of Libety I made. Julia and Mommy stayed home and rested today because Julia was up a LOT last night for some reason so they were tired!
10/1/2005	We went to the Vikings Day Parade downtown and a clown even stopped and made Julia and poodle out of a balloon! Afterwards we dropped Mommy off at home and went to the park to play frisbee golf with a friend of Daddy's who was in town. Julia and I were both ready for a nap after that and then we finally made it to the apple orchard only to find out that there weren't any apples left on the trees to pick. We did get to buy a bag of them though and we saw Andrew and Abby there too so we played for awhile and had a caramel apple too!
9/30/2005	Mrs. Davids was back today! I was super tired this morning so Mommy thinks I need to have a new bedtime of 7:30. I started crying about missing Mommy and then as Daddy and I were getting into the car I decided I didn't want to eat hot lunch and bawled all the way to school about it - but I ended up LOVING it and I was in a much happier mood when Mommy picked me up. Julia had RED day at school so she wore red and painted with red. Mommy and Daddy decided to try a new restuarant tonight so they took us to daycare (we were VERY excited to go) and then they found out they couldn't get in to the new place anyway so they had to go somewhere else. I had so much fun at daycare that I asked if we could go back tomorrow night.
9/29/2005	My teacher was sick AGAIN today! Our school had a bake sale right before the last bell rang so Mommy sent me some quarters to buy things with and one of my classmates didn't have any so I gave her two of mine! Mommy thought that was very nice of me. Julia was very cranky today and cried a lot so I don't think she is feeling very well. We had our Survivor night and then went right to bed!
9/28/2005	Julia was SO excited for school today that when they got in the church door, she saw her teacher at the end of a long hallway and yelled "there is my teacher!" and she took off running and gave her a big hug! I rode the bus to school and HOME because Mommy was watching Abby, Megan, and Matt so Kim could go on a fieldtrip with Andrew. When Andrew got to our house we were able to play for awhile before they all had to go home. I was super tired today and Julia has a cold and was tired too so we both were in bed before 7:30!
9/27/2005	Daddy took me to school this morning because Alex only rides the bus on M,W,& F. My teacher went home sick yesterday and she was still gone today so Daddy got to help the sub during computer time - she thought she was going to get a break and Daddy was going to take over but he told her she needed to stay. Mommy and Julia went to storytime at the bookstore today with Dena, Gillian, and Adam - then they went to McDonalds for lunch. I told Mommy I was really tired today and at bedtime I didn't even complain when Mommy told me I had to go at 7:30 because I was ready! Of course by the time I finished my snack and brushed my teeth, it was 7:45 so it wasn't quite as early as Mommy hoped but hopefully it will help me some.
9/26/2005	I rode the bus again today and sat with Alex. I told Mommy another boy told me he loved me today and that we kissed! Later I told her I was the one who kissed him (on the shoulder) while we were reading stories and then all the kids said that now Ethan had a girlfriend (me!). Mommy doesn't know if she is ready for all this stuff yet! But she was very impressed when I told her another boy, Jarrod, was all by himself on the playground today so I asked him if he wanted to be my friend and play with me. Julia was quite upset that she didn't have school today so Mommy had to find lots to distract her with. After I came home we played outside for a long time until I came in to play school and Julia stayed out while Daddy mowed until bedtime.
9/25/2005	Grandma and Grandpa went home early today and so we had a lazy day. It was raining AGAIN so no apple orchard. I did buy my very first purchase with my allowance yesterday - a barbie computer game - so I have been very busy playing that! Uncle Tom came and visited for awhile and then it was time to have a bath and get ready for a new week!
9/24/2005	We were going to take Grandma and Grandpa to the apple orchard today but it rained all day so I was very upset! We went shopping instead and I complained and Julia cried because she lost her paci so Mommy and Daddy were stressed and were ready to take us to daycare. We went out for supper and Julia and I both thought we were really going to go to daycare so then we were upset again that we weren't going! It started really storming after supper and the lightening was bad - we saw sparks and even saw three firetrucks a few blocks away so we had to walk over there in the dark to check it out!
9/23/2005	I rode the bus this morning again! I found out a boy in my class was riding it and he said he would sit with me. Daddy walked me across the street to wait and when it pulled up, Alex was in the front seat waving at me so I ran in to sit with him! Julia had school too and she went on a nature walk, played with the water table, and had a snack. Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came today and they even got here in time to help pick me up from school! We played until Daddy got home and then we ate supper out.
9/22/2005	I forgot my backpack today and when Daddy was dropping me off I got very upset so he told me Mommy would bring it and to tell teacher it was his fault. So when Mommy dropped it off, Mrs. Davids told her that I said exactly that! Julia and Mommy went to storytime at the library today and she had so much fun wiggling and dancing with the librarian (she kept calling her the worker though!) We were both super tired tonight so Mommy skipped the Survivor Night she had planned and we went to bed at 7:30!
9/21/2005	I did SO good in gym class today that I got a football trading card. I told Mommy about this on the first day of gym so I was super excited it was my day to get one! We played more instruments in music today and I told Mommy we 'played poor' on the playground again and had to make soup from grass and rocks. Today was the first day I took my lunch and Mommy even put a little note in there for me just like she used to get when she was little! Julia played with the water table today in her school and she used glue too but she didn't bring her picture home so we weren't sure what she glued. She also told us a little boy there was "stinky!"
9/20/2005	I had computers today so Daddy was there to help again! I also brought home my art project from yesterday - I drew Bert and Ernie! Mommy and Julia went shopping today and then when Daddy got home from work, we all went to my school for the pizza picnic. Julia found my teacher before I did and Mommy met a few of my friends and then we listened to the StoryTeller that is visiting my school! Daddy took Julia to BestBuy afterwards and she got a free football and then she asked "Can I have one for my Callie too?" - Daddy thought that was sure nice of her!
9/19/2005	I was excited to go back to school again today and my friend, Derek brought snacks. I told Mommy they were "awesome!" I was table leader today so I brought the pencils and paper to everyone at my table and then I had to wash it off after crafts and snacks ALL BY MYSELF! Julia was naughty after school and grabbed my homework from me and drew all over it and crinkled it too. She finally told me sorry after lots of crying. She has been very difficult lately - the other day she hit me and when Mommy told her 'no hitting' she cried and said "please Mommy, I WANT to hit her!"
9/18/2005	We ate breakfast early again and then went swimming one last time before packing up to leave. We ate lunch together and then headed home to Sioux Falls - Julia and I slept almost the whole way home.
9/17/2005	We were up early and headed to the breakfast room right away and then when everyone was ready we went to the children's museum! It was so much fun to play with Andrew and Abby at the farm and grocery store. Then we built a house and made slime before leaving for lunch. After lunch we went to the zoo and saw the gorillas and bears and the sharks! We went back to our rooms after the zoo closed and ordered a pizza and then went swimming for a little bit before bed. We were all very tired from our big day and Mommy said that Julia and I were asleep and snoring in about two minutes after laying our heads down on the pillow and it wasn't even quite 8pm yet!
9/16/2005	I got Smarties today because my homework was SO good! We practiced juggling today in Gym class - that was hard! Julia went to school again and had a great time - they sang and drew their face. Mommy, Daddy, and Julia were all waiting for me when the bell rang and then we headed to Omaha! We ate supper before heading to our motel and then met the Erkonens there -since we didn't get to go camping with them this summer, we thought it would be fun to go to Omaha instead. We had to swim of course and then we went to bed so we would be ready for our big day.
9/15/2005	Mommy came to eat lunch with me at school today! She took Julia to play with Gillian and then met me at my classroom and we walked together to the lunchroom. I showed Mommy where to put her milk and silverware and then we carried our trays to the table. Mommy got to sit across from Derek and she met Lindsey, another one of my friends. We had pizza pockets and they were sure yummy! After lunch, I hugged Mommy good-bye and headed out to recess so she could go pick up Julia. Daddy had darts tonight so Mommy popped us popcorn and made us fruit smoothies and we watched Survivor before bed!
9/14/2005	I had a tornado drill today - yesterday we had a fire drill so we sure are keeping busy at school! And I had homework again (last night I did too!) - we have to practice writing our first and last name four times! Julia's FIRST day of her school (Kingdom Kids) was today and she had a lot of fun. Mommy played with her for five minutes and then said good-bye and Julia just gave her a kiss and waved. She sang songs, colored, and played with a giant ball in the gym today. Mommy and Daddy took her out for lunch afterwards to celebrate!
9/13/2005	Today was computer lab day and Daddy is going to be the volunteer parent that helps us every Tuesday! He helped all the kids log in, get the headphones working, and helped them change games if they needed to. I also went to the library today too and of course played with Derek at recess! Mommy and Julia went to the library this morning too - they were going to go to Toddler Storytime but Mommy read the wrong time so she missed it but they still brought books home.
9/12/2005	I was excited to go back to school today! We had art class where we cut ovals out of rectangles. I took snacks for morning and afternoon but there was a big mix-up in the afternoon one and so I was quite upset about it when Mommy picked me up. We ate supper with Jason, Alyssa, and Abby today and later we went on a bike ride before bed!
9/11/2005	I was in a much better mood today so Julia and I played very nicely all morning. Andrew's whole family came over after Julia's nap so we could play and they took Julia's crib home for one of the babies so they won't have to share one anymore(ssshhh don't tell Julia though!). We even got to eat out with them for supper!
9/10/2005	Mommy was disappointed we didn't sleep in - but we were too excited to play at with Grandma and Grandpa. Julia went shopping with Grandpa Robinson and Daddy and I stayed with Mommy and Grandma so we could color. We ate out for lunch and then we napped. Julia woke up scared and crying for Mommy though after an hour so she woke me up too. We were very crabby the rest of the day. We had Jaci's wedding at 5 and I even helped carry presents to the gift table and I got my own flower! We had cupcakes to eat at the reception and we played with some other kids before changing to our pjs and heading home to Sioux Falls.
9/9/2005	I took home the snack box today so that means I take snack for everyone on Monday!! I did hoola hoops in gym class and tried the stilts again - that was fun. I also told Mommy we are making pictures in our journals everyday - I made a sunset. We headed to Aberdeen after Daddy got off work - Mommy thought we would fall asleep right away so she took a short movie and then at 8 she turned it off - but guess what - we stayed up! We fell asleep 10 minutes away from Grandma and Grandpa's house so we woke up when they carried us in and had to stay up and chat!
9/8/2005	We had a substitute teacher today - I told Mommy she was nice but did things different. We made a rainbow in Art Class today. Derek, my new friend, and I just sat on the playground during recess because we both missed our mommies. After school, I had a dentist appt and I cried the whole way there. I clung to Mommy when they called my name and they had to pry me off her - she felt really bad but then Julia started crying (she saw a toy kitchen she wanted to play with and didn't want to go back to the waiting room), so Mommy was stressed! But it turned out I had a good time after all - I picked my movie to watch (Mulan) and they let Mommy peek in later to prove to her I was fine and dandy. I even told her that she was right and I just forgot I liked the dentist! Julia had her open house tonight for Kingdom Kids and she was excited. She kept asking "this MY school?" We played with her toys and she got her picture taken too!
9/7/2005	Happy Birthday Great-Grandma Anglin! Julia threw quite the tantrum today - she was mad that Mommy was trying to change her diaper so she threw her clean diaper in the garbage and then when Mommy got it out, after numerous attempts to get it back she threw her barbie in the garbage instead. After Mommy got that out, she struggled getting her socks off and threw them away! She cried for about 10 more minutes and then went back to the garbage and dug through it to find her stuff and got mad again because it wasn't there - Mommy said it was actually very funny. I was busy with Gym, where we walked on stilts and dribbled balls, and Music, where we played sticks. We had steak at school but I told Mommy I didn't even try it because it had gravy on it - yucky! I was super tired when I came home today and cried a lot so Mommy tried to get me to go to bed early but it didn't work because when she and Julia got back from their walk, I was still up and crying that I missed her.
9/6/2005	I was very excited to go back to school today! Daddy took me again and we had computer class and went to the library this afternoon. I spilled syrup all over my pants (we had pancakes for lunch) so Mommy wondered what happened to me when she picked me up this afternoon! Mommy had her first PTA meeting tonight so we played outside with Daddy before bed.
9/5/2005	We played today and Uncle Tom even came over to play too! Then he and Daddy went to a Bowling For Soup benefit concert for Hurricane Katrina. Mommy gave us a bath and took us for a long walk around the neighborhood before bed.
9/4/2005	We went to Nebraska today to see Great-Grandma Sunderman! Julia and I played with Morgan, Mommy's cousin's little girl - she is three and we had lots of fun. She has a little baby brother too and Julia really liked playing with his toes. On our way home, we stopped in Yankton for supper to eat at Mommy's new favorite pizza restaurant!
9/3/2005	I ate tangerines for lunch today and when Daddy said that I should have sandwich too because they weren't much of a lunch I told him "yes they are because McDonalds has a fruit salad that you can have for breakfast, lunch, or supper so that means these can be my lunch!" Mommy thought that was pretty funny. We went to a baseball game tonight and had lots of fun - we saw Cagey the Canary and Julia waved and yelled at him and I got his autograph! Then we played at the playground and watched fireworks - Julia even said she liked them!
9/2/2005	I slept through the night finally and even woke up at 7:30 by myself so I am starting to get used to this schedule! I am glad I don't have school though so we can play all day long. Mommy is very proud of Julia too - she has been sleeping really good in her bed and goes to sleep all by herself, without anyone laying with her (like I made Mommy do for a year or more when I got my new bed!). We played and went shopping when Daddy got home - he finally picked out his new glasses!
9/1/2005	I woke up AGAIN last night - Mommy sure hopes I get used to this soon because she is getting tired. Julia keeps bonking her head on the wall and it wakes Mommy up too so she isn't getting a lot of sleep. I painted purple P's today in class and practiced writing them more too. I also played dress-up at free time AND we had an extra recess today - usually we have two but today we had three. Daddy took us to eat supper at Uncle Tom's restuarant and then we went shopping to help him find glasses - he has to wear them for reading and being on the computer. We saw Julia's teacher (my old one) at the mall and Julia talked and even hugged her so I think she will be happy to see her once her school starts! Daddy dropped us off back at home and went back to work - he might not get home until morning!
8/31/2005	I was really tired this morning (I woke up again crying last night) so Mommy let me sleep in later and Daddy took me to school. I decided it took too long to get home on the bus so Mommy picked me up today too. I had music and gym class today - gym class was very tiring! We had tacos today for lunch but it was really taco chips with meat - I thought that was funny. I was very excited to find out my teacher has a Peter Pan book in her class - we had quiet reading time today.
8/30/2005	I woke up last night crying and missing Mommy so she had to sleep with me for awhile. Then when I woke up I didn't want to go back to school again but Mommy knew it was because I was tired and as soon as I ate, I felt better. I was excited to ride the bus and I rode it home too - it was fun! We went to the library today and I brought home a book. I had a pizza pocket for lunch and I had told Mommy I wasn't going to eat it (but would eat everything else) but it turned out that I tried it and really liked it! Julia had her first dentist appointment today and she did very good - she was scared and cried at first but then she showed him all her teeth and she didn't have any cavities! She played at the park with Gillian and Adam too and was so excited to see them she gave Gillian a big hug. She also went up to two kids and asked them their names - I guess she gets that from me. Mommy had our pool filled so we went swimming when I got home and she made cookies too - yummy!
8/29/2005	Today was my big day! I woke up early and of course Mommy and Daddy had to take lots of pictures. Julia insisted on being just like me and wearing a backpack too! Mommy walked me to my class and when the bell rang, we went outside to practice lining up and then said goodbye there - I was starting to get a little nervous but hugged Mommy and Julia lots and went on my way! Mommy and Julia went out for coffee and juice and then shopped. Julia napped in her big girl bed and played and then Daddy came home early so they could all come get me after school and we went out for ice cream! Uncle Tom even met us there. I sure had a fun day and met new friends and had art class. I started getting VERY tired around 7:30 and cried about everything - I even told Mommy I had a tummy ache so I didn't think I could go tomorrow but she knew I was just tired. Then I couldn't fall asleep so she let me go to bed in her bedroom and finally by 8:15 I was asleep.
8/28/2005	Daddy bought Julia's big girl bed today and Mommy switched her room all around - it is really cute! She took a super long nap in it - almost three hours so I guess she likes it! Skittles fell last night and must have hurt her leg because she has hardly moved today and when she does, she hobbles and limps so we have been extra nice to her today. We took baths tonight and set out my clothes because tomorrow is my BIG day!
8/27/2005	We didn't do so good in the morning wake up call! Mommy was tired and Julia and I were still sleeping so she ignored the alarm and we all slept til 8! We bought kitty food and took it to the Humane Society again because they have LOTS of baby kitties - we even played with some of them and we had to peek at the puppies too. Then after Julia napped, we went shopping for a big girl bed for her but we didn't get one yet. Julia acts excited to get one though!
8/26/2005	I woke up this morning at 7:30 so I am starting to get ready for early mornings - tomorrow Mommy says she will wake me at 7! Julia fell somehow by my computer desk and cut her lip in three places - she bled a lot and Mommy had to call Daddy to figure out what to do - she ended up giving her a popsicle and that stopped the bleeding but it still looks all puffy. Uncle Tom came over today with Julie to get Grandma's car and then after supper Daddy took us out for ice cream while Mommy went to work.
8/25/2005	We played with Uncle Jon and Aunt Michelle all morning and then after lunch we had to take them to the airport so they could fly back home. When Daddy got home from work he said we should go to Chuck E Cheese for supper to celebrate school starting so Julia and I were very excited! Then we had to go home and to bed at 7:30 so we can get used to our new schedule.
8/24/2005	Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jon came back from Aberdeen today and Julia and I went to daycare so they could eat with Mommy, Daddy, and Uncle Tom without kids! Mommy thought I might not want to go since they just got back but I was SO excited. Then she thought Julia might not want to go back since this time she would know they were leaving but we both just waved good bye and ran to the cool toys and I told Mommy when they picked us up that Julia didn't even cry at all this time. Mommy watched us thru the window before picking us up and I was such a nice big sister helping Julia do things that it made her very proud. It was late when we went to bed so Mommy said we really need to get me turned around before school!
8/23/2005	I had my open house tonight so I found my chair, put my school supplies in my cubby, and found my coat hook too! Then we walked around and saw the library, art room, music room, computer lab, and gym. While we were there the fire alarm even went off so we all got to see what that was like and Julia and I played on the playground while we waited for the firemen to tell us we could go back in. I am pretty excited for my first day but I also tell Mommy that I am sure going to miss her too.
8/22/2005	We were lazy this morning so we could rest up from our long weekend and then after Julia's nap we went shopping so we could get different school supplies - Mommy got a new list and lots of things were different from the first one. Tomorrow is my open house and I am very exited - I kept asking Mommy if it was tonight or tomorrow night that I get to go to school. The ice cream truck came by tonight so we finally got to have an ice cream treat again - it has been a LONG time since we saw him!
8/21/2005	We visited Great-Grandma Ivey this morning and then took lunch to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house. Julia and I helped pick sweet corn to take home and then we played for awhile before heading home. Julia was SO tired that she was just crying about everything and she was asleep as soon as we pulled out of the driveway and I was before we left town! Neither of us woke up until 10 miles outside of Sioux Falls so Mommy was happy we took good naps.
8/20/2005	This morning was Daddy's cousin, Jaci's bridal shower and I helped host it with Grandma Ivey! Julia and Mommy were there too but Julia soon became crabby and clingy with all the people there and Daddy was bored so he took Julia shopping and to the park. We ate lots of yummy breakfast foods and played bingo while she opened her gifts! After lunch, Julia napped and I went out to the fair again with Uncle Tom, and Grandma & Grandpa Ivey. Then Uncle Tom took me and Julia over to his friend's house so we could play on their swingset! After supper, Mommy and Daddy went out to the fair with Aunt Michelle, Uncle Jon, and Uncle Tom so Grandpa and Grandma Ivey babysat.
8/19/2005	Happy Birthday Grandma Robinson! We picked up Daddy at the airport this morning - we were SO excited to see him and he brought us bears back - Julia wouldn't let go of hers for the whole day almost! Uncle Tom called us when Michelle and Jon landed so then we all took off for Aberdeen. We stopped at Webster to eat lunch and they stopped too so we could finally see them. We had a big Ivey family picture taken once everyone was showered and dressed up and then Mommy, Daddy, Julia and I went to the fair to meet Grandma and Grandpa Robinson! I didn't want to ride rides but I went through the fun house twice and we played the duck game. Then I rode a train and the pony rides later! It was fun but Julia and I were really tired so we went to bed right after the fair.
8/18/2005	Daddy was supposed to come home today and Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jon were coming here too but no one can get here now so we are all sad. Mommy was on the phone ALL day with them - their planes were being delayed and delayed and then cancelled. Michelle and Jon just went back home but Daddy got stuck in Chicago. I met my teacher today and saw my room - her name is Mrs. Davids! I had to show her all the numbers and colors I know and wrote my name for her too. Uncle Tom came over and ate supper with us and helped us get the truck back from the fix-it shop too. Daddy and Michelle and Jon are coming tomorrow morning if all goes well!
8/17/2005	Mommy babysat Andrew and Abby today so we had a playdate ALL day long! They ate lunch with me and we played house, Star Wars, and colored too. It was a lot of fun. After supper, we made beds on Mommy's floor and watched a movie and had a slumber party but then Julia decided she wanted to sleep in her crib so Mommy and I moved up to her bed for the night.
8/16/2005	Today we went to Lake Vermillion with Andrew and Abby! We left right after lunch and took lots of snacks and juice so we could stay all afternoon. Mommy got sunburned and Julia even has a spot on her back where she must not had enough sunscreen so Mommy felt bad. We came home and ordered pizza and then Uncle Tom came over to help us take the truck to the fix it shop. We were tired out after our day we went to bed right away after our bath!
8/15/2005	We went to the zoo this morning with Gillian and Adam! We were so excited to run around and play that we didn't pay much attention to the animals but it was still fun. Afterwards we all ate lunch together at Godfathers!
8/14/2005	We took Daddy to the airport today after lunch and gave him lots of hugs (Julia insisted on her upside down hug!) because he had to go to Connecticut for work. We came home and watched his plane fly over our house and I told Mommy I miss him already. He must miss us a lot too because he called us when he changed planes and when he landed! I also had to call Grandpa Robinson today to tell him not to put his tomatoes in the refrigerator because they lose their taste - I learned that on a garden show on TV!
8/13/2005	Daddy took us shopping this morning so Mommy could get our house back to normal and then after we came home, she went to work so Daddy and I played a game while Julia napped. We decided to go to the fair for supper and Julia rode the train all by herself while I rode the little cars and then we both rode the cars again. We played one game (the duck game of course) and had a snack before coming home!
8/12/2005	We all went shopping today so Julia could get a new pair of shoes and Daddy got new clothes! We ate lunch at the mall and then came home for a long nap! At 4, we went to Daddy's work picnic - it was at Wild Water West so I showed Mommy and Daddy how I can go on the waterslides now! Mommy and I went down the big one over and over and over it was so much fun. Then we came home and Mommy put Julia to bed and popped some popcorn for us to watch a movie but Julia heard and started hollering "Mommy I want to watch tv too!" and then when Daddy went to get her she even said "popcorn too Daddy?" so she has good ears I guess! So we all watched the movie together and stayed up late.
8/11/2005	I was so excited to sleep on the top of the bunkbeds last night and then somehow I fell off in the middle of the night! It was so scary and I cried a lot but luckily I didn't get hurt - I shared Mommy's bed after that! This morning it was raining and everything was covered in mayflies and wet so we went to the aquarium and to town to kill time because it was miserable. It still didn't look much better after lunch and the mayflies seemed worse so we didn't even want to sit outside so Mommy and Daddy decided to pack up and come home. We met Andrew, Abby, and the twins for a picnic supper at the park and then played all evening so we ended our day with something fun!
8/10/2005	We went camping today! First we hung out at the beach until we could get into our cabin and then Daddy unpacked all our stuff. The mayflies were horrible so dinner was not too relaxing with them landing on our food all the time. We spent the evening at the go-carts and that was great! Julia even loved riding them - we also rode a train and played mini-golf. We had our fire when we got back and made smores and then went to bed.
8/9/2005	Mommy had to the get to the truck's oil changed so we walked over to the toy store while we waited and then ate a snack outside - it was fun! When Daddy got home, we all went to Kid's Night in the Park and even ate pizza slices there again so I could see my gymnastics teacher! We saw Gillian & Adam there and also Andrew, Abby, & the babies! Their cousins were even there so I played with Marie too!
8/8/2005	Julia started singing a song from Kindermusic today - the first time she has ever sang it even though the class sang it all 8 times they went and of course now the class is over! We went to the pool today after Julia's nap because it was very hot again - I made some new friends and one mommy thought I was pretty cute because I went up to her and asked if she thought it would be ok if I was friends with her boy.
8/7/2005	I can pump the swing all by myself now! Mommy and Daddy have been trying all summer to get me to do this and it finally clicked so I am very excited (and so are they!). We went out to Red Lobster today for supper - yummy!!
8/6/2005	Mommy and I had our shopping trip this morning! I picked out new jeans, pants, some shirts, tennis shoes and the greatest new pair of fashion boots!! Mommy said I am going to be more trendy than her, whatever that means. We also picked out the rest of my school supplies and then we went out for lunch at a new pizza buffet place that has games like Chuck E Cheese. I even won tickets and picked out a prize so I had a lot of fun. We played outside this afternoon and Daddy grilled kabobs again - I tried them and liked the steak and red peppers on them. We finished the night with a bike ride to the park and I rode my own bike again!
8/5/2005	We went to the pool today with Gillian and Adam! Then on our way home we found out Daddy was at the hospital for a catscan because he was getting dizzy and couldn't see very well today so we met him there. Julia and I watched him get an EKG and have his blood taken (I had to turn away for this)but we just had to wait while he had his 'brain picture' taken. Mommy was very worried but he was ok - he just had a bad sinus infection so now he has medicine to get all better.
8/3/2005	I had SuperHero Morning at the community center today so I dressed up in my cape and Incredibles mask. It was fun - we made shields, new masks and capes, played tag, and listened to a story! This afternoon, Kim and Scott brought the babies over so Mommy could watch them while we went to the Water Park! Julia stayed home and helped with the 'pink baby' and 'brown baby'. After watching Andrew and Abby and letting Kim hold me, I finally went down the waterslides and LOVED them! We went over and over - I even went on the grown up one! Then it started to lightning so they closed it up but we went out for ice cream before coming home. It was sure fun!
8/2/2005	I had zoocamp this afternoon - it was about penguins! Andrew went too so Mommy and Kim took Abby and Julia to the wading pool. Julia even remembered the pool even though we had only been there once before and it was broken. As soon as she saw it she asked, "broken? more water?" So Mommy was impressed! Andrew and I were pretty upset and cried when we found out they went swimming without us but Mommy insisted we would go again this week and she told me that Julia and I could finally go try the new daycare tonight. I have been wanting to go for a long time so I was really excited. Mommy made us a quick supper and then they dropped us off. They had so many neat toys that Julia totally ignored them when they tried to say good-bye. I told them I would play with her and I did - she only cried a couple of times when other mommies came to get their kids. We made necklaces in the crafts station too! I hope we can go again sometime.
8/1/2005	Mommy, Bridget, Julia, and I went to Yankton to meet Great Grandma Sunderman, Aunt Charlene, Aunt Janice, and Mommy's cousin Joni for lunch! It was fun and then we came back home to Sioux Falls to play. Mommy drove by my new school to show Aunt Bridget and then we ate a quick supper before we took her to the airport and said good-bye. Julia wondered if she was flying to Florida! I told Aunt Bridget that she could just fly home and get all her stuff and fly back and move here but she didn't think that would work. Daddy took Julia to her last music class and Mommy took me to get my backpack and lunchbox!! I had a hard time deciding between Star Wars and Tinkerbell so Mommy said I can keep the tags on and change my mind in a few days if I want.
7/31/2005	We played all morning and then after Julia napped, we went to the pool! I showed Bridget how I dunk and practiced floating with her too. Julia played in the fountains and Mommy and Bridget went down the waterslides! We came home and Daddy grilled us supper - we even ate outside and then I rode my bike for Bridget too.
7/30/2005	We were tired today so we helped Mommy clean up and then all took a nap. Julia and I were still pretty whiney so Mommy decided she would take Bridget to the mall and out for supper so Daddy took us to McDonalds to play at the playland because they are closing tomorrow!
7/29/2005	Happy Anniversary Mommy and Daddy! They have been married 10 years so we had a party. Mommy and Bridget cleaned out the garage because it looked like it might rain and they had tables in the backyard and the garage. Daddy put his dartboard out there too and Mommy set up all kinds of toys in the back for the kids. Everyone started coming around 6 and we got hot dogs and the grown ups had kabobs and hamburgers. At dark, we got light sticks and Mommy had Christmas lights on and torches set up around the yard - it was sure pretty. I even stayed up til after midnight with Gillian - but we were sure tired by then! Julia and Adam went to sleep much earlier because they were too little to stay up with us.
7/28/2005	Julia is still running a fever today so Mommy took her to the doctor. They had to poke her finger for blood and she did fine until they got out the band-aid. She HATES band-aids so she screamed "off- mommy off!". Finally Mommy took it off and then she was fine. Grandma and Grandpa Robinson brought Aunt Bridget back from Aberdeen today and they stayed for a little bit to play but then they had to go back home. We ordered pizza because Daddy was busy mowing and Mommy was busy getting everything ready for our party!
7/27/2005	We were going to go to the zoo today but Julia woke up from her nap with a fever so we had to stay home. At first I was upset but then without Mommy even saying anything, I went up to Julia and said I was sorry she wasn't feeling well. After supper she was up to playing so we went on a bike ride. We drove our bikes to the bike path and I even rode my own instead of the one hooked on to Daddy's! Mommy and Daddy were SO impressed I kept up - we went over a mile even. We played at the park before turning around to come back to our car so I was able to rest but I found the energy to make it all the way back!

7/25/2005	We stayed home today and Mommy made us a house again so we played in that all afternoon. I helped Mommy make carrot bars too! After supper, Mommy said I could come with to watch Julia's music class so I was very excited because I have been asking every week if I can go. I was quiet and watched nicely - but I did get to play some instruments and even got a stamp at the end too! Julia did a good job listening to the story and the "thunber" and rain noises on the cd.
7/24/2005	Daddy took us shopping this morning so Mommy could pick up the house and unpack in peace. After Julia napped, we all went shopping again to get some things for our party and then we ate supper at a new pizza restuarant, Redrosa, where you can watch them make the pizza and put it in this big brick oven!
7/23/2005	Julia and I were pretty crabby so Mommy packed us up and we left right around lunch time. Julia fell asleep before we even got gas and didn't wake up until we got to Sioux Falls and I slept a good two hours on the way home so Mommy was happy. We were sure glad to see Daddy!
7/22/2005	Aunt Bridget was here when we woke up! I wanted to go wake her right away but Mommy said I had to wait until 8 because her aiplane was really late last night. Julia was excited too until Bridget came out of her room and then she got scared. Soon she started talking and playing with her though but she kept calling her Kim and then later Dena! We drove to Aberdeen and played with Grandma and Grandpa Robinson all afternoon. After supper Mommy took us to see Grandma and Grandpa Ivey while she saw a friend. We got to go to a rummage sale and pick out a stuffed puppy. Mommy took us back at bedtime so we could camp out in the living room with Grandma and Grandpa Robinson!
7/21/2005	We went to the park today because they were having crafts and games - Julia and I fingerpainted on easels and then we played with the hoola hoops and parachutes! We saw Dena too - she was watching Gillian at her swimming lessons class at the pool next to the park so we said hi and Julia asked "where'd adam go?" - he was at home with Brad taking a nap. Aunt Bridget comes tonight and I am very excited so it was very hard for me to fall asleep.
7/20/2005	We went to the puppet show at the library this morning and then checked out some books! I was really tired at lunch so Mommy insisted I had to lay down but I fought her for a long time - finally I did and fell asleep quickly. After we napped, we went to the wading pool and when we got home at 5 - Daddy was waiting for us to go swimming at Wild Water West Waterpark! We had a quick supper and drove there - we had never been there before and it was sure fun! We rode on tubes on a lazy river, Mommy went down a big waterslide, and we played in the kid's area - I even went down two of the kid's waterslides but I hated one of them and then I wouldn't go down any others. I still can't wait to go back and next time I want to ride on the bumper boats!
7/19/2005	Julia had a Dr. appt this morning because her eye keeps getting all watery and crusty. As soon as we pulled up to the parking lot she said "Callie's doctor? Shots - owie - bandaid" and then when she found out we were going for her she was very upset and said "house Mommy house!" because she wanted to go home! She didn't mind the doctor just looking at her eye though and she doesn't have an infection but her tear duct is clogged so Mommy has to massage it and put drops in it. I had my painting class right after and I did all sorts of projects with paint and then Mommy took us out for lunch. After supper, Daddy and Mommy took us to Kid's Night in the Park and we played all sorts of games and won prizes - we saw Gillian and Adam there too!
7/18/2005	Julia and I both had our hair cut today and then we swam in our pool in the backyard until Daddy finished grilling supper. Julia and Mommy went to music class and Julia is starting to dance a little bit more and not be so shy. Daddy and I met them afterwards for ice cream!
7/16/2005	After Julia and I napped, Aunt Karron and her friend came over to play with us! We showed her pictures and then we packed our stuff to go to JazzFest! It was a really long walk and Daddy used the wagon to carry all the lawnchairs so I wasn't very happy but once we got there I had lots of fun! Julia and I had corndogs for supper and then we went to the kids area to jump in the castle (Julia got scared in there though), played with bubbles, made crowns, got our faces painted, and ran through the mist tent because it was super hot! Then we went back to our chairs and danced for awhile. Daddy took Julia up front to dance and she was on the big screen tv! Then I went up with him but you could only see my hand waving. We stayed until the very end and this time Daddy let me ride on top of the chairs to get to our truck because I was super tired!
7/15/2005	Today was my last day of VBS. I was very tired so Mommy said I could just stay home but I didn't want to so after lunch I took a nap and felt much better. Mommy's Aunt Karron came with her friend so I showed her all my toys and then we all went out for supper downtown and ate on a table outside! Afterwards, we showed them Falls Park and came back home to eat the birthday cake we made Aunt Karron because her birthday is Sunday. We are taking them to JazzFest tomorrow night so I am very excited!
7/14/2005	I woke up at 6:30 this morning and asked Mom if she was excited for my program tonight so she guessed that I must be since I was up so early! We made little giraffes today and had a giraffe snack made out of strawberries, bread, and string cheese - it was yummy! After Julia's nap, we went to see the Rodeo Clown and we were going to swim at the pool next to his performance afterwards but it was broken! So we went home and swam in our pool instead until supper. Tonight was my program so I sang all my songs and did my actions for all the parents and then we walked around to look at all the rooms and we had ice cream sundaes! Everyone had to bring a favorite topping so we brought sprinkles and cherries to share - yummy!
7/13/2005	I took school supplies to VBS today so we could help out some kids in Sioux Falls! Mommy and Julia stayed for a little bit because Julia wanted to dance to the music we were singing when Mommy dropped me off (we were a little late today because I slept in until 8:30!) Mommy stained the swingset/fort while Julia napped and I played inside because it was TOO hot out. We went out for Chinese when Daddy got home and even Julia ate some chicken this time! Then we all went to Hot Summer Nights to check out the corvettes and motorcycles - we had to get icees too of course since it was so hot out!
7/12/2005	Today we made lion masks in VBS! We sang our songs and learned new dance moves and had a lion cookie for our snacks. Mommy and Julia went shopping this morning and then Daddy came to get me again because at noon Julia is already asleep. After she woke up we went to Brandon to swim at their wading pool with Andrew and Abby!
7/11/2005	I had vacation bible school this morning! I was very excited and woke up at 6:30 (Julia did too so Mommy wasn't too happy). The church was decorated with elephants, giraffes, lions, and zebras! I got my nametag and it had a picture of a baby elephant on it so I had to follow the elephant footprints to find my classroom and then Mommy and Julia said goodbye - I didn't even mind and I didn't know anyone there! We made a drum today, sang songs, watched a movie, and we helped make the snack for all the kids today. Daddy picked me up and I told him all about it but I said I didn't really make a friend yet. After supper, Julia and Mommy went to music class and she said "bathroom, Mommy!" in the middle so Mommy had to take her but she didn't really go- she is really good at taking off her shorts all by herself though so Mommy thinks we need to start buying pull-ups so she can practice more.
7/10/2005	Mommy thought it was pretty funny that Julia woke up this morning at 6, stood up and walked over to Mommy's bed and waved, then came back to bed with me and went to sleep until 7:30 when we all got up. We took another bike ride this morning and then went to the fish hatchery! Julia loved the aquarium and then we even fed baby trout and they jumped out of the water and splashed us trying to get the food! After lunch Julia and I napped in the car again while Daddy and Mommy took down the tent and packed up the truck with ALL of our stuff (which barely fits even with our new rooftop bag!). We woke up and went swimming all afternoon - Mommy and I just love riding the waves. After we showered away all our sand and changed, we drove to Yankton for an early supper at a pizza place Mommy really wanted to try and then we headed home for baths and an early bed!
7/9/2005	We all slept in until 7 this morning - we had a much shadier spot than last time so Mommy was happy. I love taking showers at campgrounds so after breakfast we showered and took a bike ride - Julia loved the hills! Then we went to town to get a few things Mommy forgot (like extra batteries because our flashlight died!)and came back in time to swim before lunch. Julia and I needed a nap then so Daddy turned on the truck because it was much too hot to sleep in the tent so we napped in there until Gillian and Adam came to visit us! We all went swimming together - Gillian and I were in our floaties riding the waves! Adam and Julia preferred the sand - those big waves were pretty scary for them. We all went back to our tent to eat supper and then we had smores after playing for a bit. We were all hot and tired so they left and we took cold showers before going to bed.
7/8/2005	We went camping today at Lewis and Clark. Mommy had the truck all packed so when Daddy got home he just put on our bike rack and then ate supper in Yankton before going to the campgrounds. Daddy had a hard time getting the tent stakes in this time but Julia and I had a good time playing in the dirt with sticks and leaves while Mommy and Daddy got everything set up. We had a fire and roasted marshmallows and Julia went to bed around 10 but I stayed up and played 20 questions with Mommy and Daddy until midnight!
7/7/2005	We were going to go to the park for crafts and games today but we woke up to rain so that spoiled that idea! After lunch it all cleared up though so we went to the pool and I played with a girl that was there last time so we got to be good friends! I was pretty much on my own the whole time splashing and having so much fun with her that Mommy only had to entertain Julia. Daddy grilled us steaks for supper (yummy!) and even Julia tried a piece this time but she started gagging and said "icky". After supper Mommy and I went to the play in the park and Daddy and Julia went shopping. I even got to be on stage - I was part of the brick house for The Three Pigs! Gillian was there too so we went up together and then we played on the bleachers after it was all over while our mommies talked.
7/6/2005	Julia ran up to Mommy and said "I lub you Mommy" all by herself today for no reason so Mommy was pretty excited - she used to only say it after you told her first! Mommy was busy with a tree man today for over an hour so I had to help Julia get a snack and play and Mommy was very proud of me, even if Julia did get most of the chocolate yogurt all over herself and the walls instead of in her mouth!
7/4/2005	Happy Fourth of July! We said our good-byes today and headed home - Julia and I slept almost the whole way home!
7/3/2005	Today we went to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house. We did fireworks, played outside, and Julia even went shopping with Grandma and Mommy while I napped with Grandpa. Mommy's cousin Jim came over for supper and her Uncle Chuck came over later for fireworks too so I played with them a lot. Julia didn't like all the fireworks so after awhile, Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came to pick her up so she could have some peace and quiet. I was up until midnight again!
7/2/2005	Julia and I slept in and then we went to Don's studio so he could take pictures of me and Julia! Afterwards we went out for lunch with him and Dawn and then went to see their new house. We were ready for a long nap after than and then we went swimming with Grandma Ivey! We walked back to her house and Grandpa grilled us a nice dinner and we even had Great Grandma Ivey and Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin come over to eat!
7/1/2005	Daddy got off a little bit early today so we went to Aberdeen and ate supper with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey. Julia stayed with them and we went to the car races with Don and Dawn! I really liked them and didn't think they were too noisy at all! They had fireworks afterwards too. Then we walked over to the pits and I got a picture of a race car! It was after midnight when we got back to Grandma's so I fell asleep very quickly. Julia had went to visit Ashlynne while we were gone so she was up late too!
6/30/2005	Today was my last day of swimming lessons! Mommy was SUPER proud of how much I have learned and she said this summer we will just keep working on my floating so I can do it all by myself soon. Julia and I played pirates today while Mommy cleaned and after supper we all went to the Snow White play at the park. Gillian and Adam & Andrew and Abby were there so we all watched together and played for a bit afterwards.
6/29/2005	I practiced more floating today and we jumped in again during swimming lessons. Mommy finished staining the deck today so after she was done and Julia woke up, we went to the pool - a new one this time! Julia and I both went down the slide there over and over and then it thundered so they closed the pool and we had to go home. We met Uncle Tom for supper at Red Lobster - yummy!
6/28/2005	I floated by myself for a quick second or two today! Mommy was very proud. Mommy decided to start staining our deck - Julia and I played inside and made faces at her through the window once in awhile. After supper, we bought fireworks!
6/27/2005	I had swimming lessons again this morning. We always walk past basketball practice on the way and today no one was there so Julia looked in and said "broken!" After Julia's nap we went swimming at the wading pool and Gillian and Adam came too. I also met two other little girls there and I had to show off all my dunking and swimming. We left and hurried home to change and then head right out to the mall so Mommy could meet her boss and we met Daddy for supper! Then Mommy met us at the playland to take Julia to music class. She likes getting her hand stamped after class! She colored a butterfly today and then when Mommy put her name on it Julia grabbed the marker and scribbled another name on it - Anakin. Mommy didn't understand her at first so then Julia said "Star Wars - Anakin" so then Mommy understood and thought she was pretty silly talking about Star Wars when I wasn't even around to initiate it!
6/26/2005	Julia and I slept in until 9 this morning - Mommy and Daddy were sure surprised and very happy! We all showered and went out for brunch and then Uncle Tom came over to play until it was time for my Splash Party. Julia was still sleeping so only Mommy and I went and we practiced floating and I showed her my bobs and I even "swam" all around with a pool noodle! Afterwards we came back home and I showed Uncle Tom how I do the Slip-N-Slide! Happy Birthday Aunt Michelle!
6/25/2005	Julia and I took naps and then Daddy took us to the painting store while Mommy worked and went shopping. After supper, Mommy made cookies, made a neat bed in the back of our truck, packed a cooler and we were off to the Drive-In! I saw my preschool friend there and we played until it was time for Madagascar to start! We sat in our lawnchairs for awhile and then laid in our "bed" and when the second movie started, Julia and I fell asleep so Mommy and Daddy could watch it alone. We didn't get home until 2am!!
6/24/2005	We took baths and were lazy this morning since I didn't have swimming lessons! Then Daddy came home a little bit early so we could go to Herbie! Julia sat so nicely at first but then she declared "all done" and wanted to leave so Daddy had to take her out in the lobby while Mommy and I stayed. I started crying during a few parts of the movie and told Mommy I didn't want to buy this one! Herbie's owner drives a 'real' race car and makes Herbie feel bad so I was sad and then worst of all Herbie gets entered in a demolition derby with a Monster Truck and I really started sobbing then! After it was all over though I told Mommy I really liked it and we could buy it after all - but I would go up to my room during the demolition derby part. Then I wondered if Herbie came all the way from the Black Hills to Sioux Falls to get into the movie!
6/23/2005	Daddy came to see me at my swimming lessons today! Julia was cranky so Daddy took her to get a snack and said she couldn't open it until they got back to Mommy so she said "FAST" and ran off down the hall until she got to a split and asked "what way what way?" The teacher let go of us just for a second or two while we were back and front floating. It was very hot out again so after Julia napped, I did the slip-n-slide and she sat in the wading pool until supper. Afterwards, Daddy and I went to the park for a play about Anansi the Spider but Julia had to go to bed early so she and Mommy stayed home.
6/22/2005	I did five bobs in a row today! After my class we took kitten food to the Humane Society because they have LOTS of kitties right now and needed some help feeding them. Then we visited all the kitties, cats, and dogs. Since we were right by Daddy's work we took him out to lunch afterwards! After supper, Daddy mowed and I finally got brave and tried my slip-n-slide. Mommy didn't even have us put on swimsuits because she figured I woudldn't do it but I showed her!
6/21/2005	I did very good in swimming lessons again - we jumped in, did three bobs in a row, and floated. There are only two other girls in my class so I get lots of time with the teacher! After naps (yes even I napped!) we went to the pool. We came home and took quick baths, then went to Kids Night in the Park with Mommy and Daddy. They had pizza slices to eat (my gymnastics teacher was selling them!) and carnival games to play. Julia even won some prizes and then we both jumped in the inflatable house and I went through the tunnel. We both got our faces painted too and Julia sat so still - she loves that! Julia fell asleep on the way home she was so tired from our big day!
6/20/2005	I started swimming lessons this morning! Mommy was so proud of me because I dunked underwater a lot while I was there and I put my face in while doing the front float. Julia and Mommy watched me from upstairs on an observation deck so I could wave at them and I saw her clapping when I dunked. I was scared this morning and didn't want to go but now I can't wait for tomorrow! Daddy took Julia to music tonight and she did good again but she was really shy at first and hid behind his legs for awhile.
6/19/2005	The sun was up early so of course that meant we woke up too - at 5:45! Mommy had made muffins so we ate those and then I went back to sleep with Daddy but Julia was ready to play. Then I woke up around 8 and us girls went to shower (so Daddy could sleep in on Father's Day) and when we came back, Julia went in to nap with Daddy! Finally we were all up and we went fishing - I even caught my first fish (a bullhead of course) and a little bit later, I got another one! It was super windy again so we decided to just come home early instead of staying for the afternoon like we had planned.
6/18/2005	Mommy had the truck all packed yesterday for our camping trip so we got up and dressed and left for Lake Vermillion! It was super windy when we got there so it was a bit harder to set up the tent but Daddy got it all up and Mommy set up our beds and then we ate lunch by the water! Julia was very cranky so we drove around a bit so she could nap and I ended up falling asleep too. We went to the beach after our naps and then we headed back to our tent to grill supper on Daddy's new grill (we gave him his Father's Day gift early!). After supper, we played at the playground and I played with my new 'friend'. Then we had smores on our fire and Julia fell asleep so we could have some peace and quiet because she had been crying and cranky ALL day! After a bit I went in the tent to sleep too - I even slept next to Julia ALL night - Mommy was sure surprised we never woke up at all.
6/17/2005	Grandma and Grandpa went to the ground breaking of Grandpa's new bank here in Sioux Falls - Mommy thought Julia would be too noisy so we didn't go. Plus we were very tired so we ate early lunch and all three of us napped! Then I tried out my new Slip-N-Slide but I was pretty scared of it so we ended up just running through the sprinkler instead. Julia and I went out for supper with Daddy and Grandpa at Hibachi while Mommy and Grandma went out for Mexican because Mommy doesn't like Japanese food.
6/16/2005	Happy Birthday to Me!! I woke up at 6:30 this morning and was dressed before I even woke up Mommy - I wore my new Incredibles T-shirt that Mommy and Daddy made for me. Of course she couldn't convince me to go back to sleep - I was really excited to see my decorations and kept asking if we could go down yet. Then I kept asking when my friends were coming so Mommy decided to take me and Julia to a play in the park and they sang Happy Birthday to me and some other kids who had birthdays this week! Daddy came home at lunch and filled up LOTS of water balloons and finally my friends came. We played our games and ate cake and then blasted Syndrome with the balloons - it was a LOT of fun. Then we ran around and squirted each other with water bottles until it was time for them to go home and that is just when Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came over! So I opened more presents and we all ate at Chuck E. Cheese - I was sure tired by bedtime!
6/15/2005	I helped Mommy bake my cake today and then we decorated the garage since that is where we are painting our capes but I told her she had to wait and decorate the house when I was sleeping so it would be a surprise! Aunt Bridget called me today and asked which friends were coming to my party so I told her everyone's names and then I said "Mommy and Daddy will be there too but they are just the workers!" Daddy's friend Dave came over after supper so I showed him my Star Wars toys and Julia mostly stared at him but then she decided she liked him and brought him lots of books to read to her.
6/14/2005	My birthday is two days away! Mommy finished sewing the capes that we get to paint and we have everything ready for the obstacle course so I am excited to become a SuperHero. It was rainy and windy all day and Julia and I were getting restless so Mommy took us in the garage and we played basketball and danced to music.
6/13/2005	We were lazy today and just played at home all day. Julia showed Shelby one of her owies (she has lots) and said "look- owie - kiss!" but Shelby wouldn't kiss it. Mommy took Julia to music class again and she had a fun time and really liked getting her hand stamped afterwards. Daddy and I went to Burger King for the Star Wars trading night - I traded almost all my duplicates and got lots more to add to my collection. Now I am only short three people (Darth Maul, Tarful, and a Clone Trooper) and three ships!!
6/12/2005	Daddy mowed today and Mommy set up my old pirate ship and tent so we played Peter Pan and even ate lunch in my little tent! Then we took a bike ride so I could try my hitchiker again and Julia could try out her new bikeseat behind Mommy's bike. Julia got my Princess helmet and I got a new one! We were both very tired after supper so we took an early bath and went to bed at 7:30.
6/11/2005	Daddy took me and Julia shopping this morning so Mommy could get our house cleaned and then when Julia came home to nap, Daddy and I went to the movie, Robots! We had popcorn and gummy bears - it was a lot of fun. Finally it was time for Erin and Connor to get here - Daddy grilled and we all ate supper together and then we went to the balloon race but it was too windy so they didn't have it - we came back home and played with them instead!
6/10/2005	Today was my last day at ZooCamp. I saw the tiger houses - a behind the scenes tour because that isn't open to the public! We had a sprinkler party at the end and that was lots of fun and then we got a certificate too. Mommy and Julia went shopping for awhile and then they went to the zoo so Julia would stay awake for my award - they even saw us run through the sprinkler! Daddy met us there and we all ate lunch at Godfathers and then I helped Mommy clean the garage while Julia napped. Grandma Robinson called to let me know she went to Burger King for lunch and got a new Star Wars character for me - Wampa, and then Grandpa called later and said he got one too - Darth Vader!!!
6/9/2005	Today we decorated a frame that was around our ZooCamp picture and we saw a scorpion! We also took a tour of the museum and had a scavenger hunt. Mommy and Julia went to a puppet show at the library while I was at camp and played at the park with Kim, Abby, and the babies. This afternoon I practiced riding my own bike and Mommy took me down the church parking lot so I could do turns and practice on flat ground - I did really good and after supper, Daddy took me back so I could show him!
6/8/2005	We made tiger masks today AND we watched the zookeeper feed the tigers our 'meat presents' - they sure liked them! Daddy picked me up and we ate at Burger King (of course) so I got more Star Wars toys. When we got home Julia and I played with them and we put Princess Leia in a box and Julia yelled out "help help r2 help!" so I had to be R2D2 and save Princess Leia. I had my kindergarten phsyical today and I am 38lbs and 42 inches tall! I had to have three shots so I held my blankie tight and sat on Mommy's lap but it wasn't so bad after all. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of me so I got to pick dinner and I chose steak so we grilled out - yummy! Then I tried out my new hitchiker bike that is attached to Daddy's and I liked it! Daddy also turned up my jeep the other day so it zooms VERY fast now.
6/7/2005	Julia threw another fit when we were leaving for ZooCamp so Mommy thought we were going to be late! She said she never thought wrestling with a two year old could be so hard - Mommy lost some hair in this match! I made it though and today we rode the train, learned about and saw a screech owl, and made tiger bracelets. We also started coloring on some boxes and tomorrow we are going to put meat in them and watch the tigers rip open the boxes to get their treats! After lunch, we went to Brandon and went swimming at the wading pool with Andrew, Abby, and the twins - the babies just watched though. Mommy was nervous because they don't let grown-ups in the pool there so she only could watch Julia and sure enough Julia fell down face first but once she got back up she was much more careful and had a great time chasing us around! We were very tired and both fell asleep on the way home until Daddy brought home supper and woke up up.
6/6/2005	I was up and dressed right away this morning so we could get to ZooCamp right away. I told Julia all about it on the way there so Mommy knew I was quite excited. I met up with Andrew and said Good-Bye to Mommy and was off. We played games, painted tigers, had a snack, and petted a snake! Daddy came to pick me up because Julia fell asleep before Mommy could leave. After lunch, I decided I needed a nap too and then we all went out back to swim and run through the sprinkler. After supper, Julia and Mommy went to music class - I was sad I couldn't go so Daddy took me out for ice cream after we mowed. Julia loved her class after she got used to it. She was so quiet at storytime and Mommy was so surprised how good she was at picking up her instruments and listening - now if only she could do that at home.
6/5/2005	We swam again this morning and went to the Mall of America! We spent most of the day at Camp Snoopy. Julia and I rode on the race cars, semi trucks, and a kid's rollercoaster! That was my favorite so I had to go again but Julia was scared of that one she went on the cars again. Daddy went on the big rollercoaster by himself and I went on the airplanes myself because Julia was too little to go on those. It was sure a fun day and Julia was asleep before we even left the parking lot and headed for home.
6/4/2005	We ate breakfast in the breakfast room (one of my favorite things to do when we stay in motels) and then got ready to go to the zoo. It started raining so Mommy stopped at the store to pick us up an umbrella and then by the time we got to the zoo, Julia and I fell asleep! So they drove us around and Daddy even went shopping while we napped and when we woke up we were at Mommy's favorite Italian restaurant (Buca Di Beppos) for lunch! We finally made it to the zoo and rode the monorail before heading back to our motel for a swim. We walked across the parking lot for supper and then Daddy and I had an ice cream treat in the motel while Mommy put Julia to bed. I was pretty tired too because I fell out of bed while I was sleeping and it didn't even wake me up! Then later Mommy heard me giggling in my sleep and talking about Julia.
6/3/2005	Julia had her first haircut today and she loved it! Of course since she loves having her hair brushed, Mommy wasn't surprised. I had my hair cut too and then Daddy came home at lunch and we left for Minneapolis! We had to stop by Burger King for lunch (we ate in the car!) so we could get more Star Wars toys of course. We had just enough time to change into our dresses and go to the wedding. I danced with Daddy's cousins (the bride and her sister) and some other kids that were there and had lots of fun. Julia was running and spinning with us too but she got really tired and fell asleep on Mommy after awhile and then I decided I was tired too so we went back to our motel.

5/30/2005	Grandma and Grandpa Ivey were home when we woke up! I helped Grandma get her flower pots ready and I washed some of her pretty rocks - Julia tried to help after her nap but I had a very organized system down and she kept doing it in the wrong order! We got lunch from Scotty's and ate it at Great-Grandma Ivey's, then Daddy had to go to Grandpa's office to get his back fixed-Julia didn't like that too much! We went out to say good-bye to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson and they were going to Storybook Land so we decided to go along too! Aunt Karron played Three Little Pigs with me (she was the wolf and had to chase me from house to house!) and she got us carousel tickets & even rode on a horse next to me! We said our goodbyes and went to eat supper at a Mexican restuarant-I had a my first cheese crispy which I loved! Julia slept through most of the meal so then she was wide awake for the ride home (so was I).
5/29/2005	Happy Birthday Great Uncle Chuck! After breakfast, we went out to Grandma and Grandpa's again. Grandpa did lots of fireworks - even some parachutes that Julia and I chased down and we jumped on their trampoline too. I even helped Grandpa water all his new trees he planted! Julia started getting really tired and fell asleep in Mommy's arms so me and Daddy asked Grandpa, Uncle Chuck, and Uncle Bob to the horse races. They were sure fun and out of three races, I picked two winners! We came back and grilled for supper and played more and then it was time to leave for bedtime.
5/28/2005	We left for Aberdeen this morning! We went to Adam's first birthday party at his Grandma's house and I played with Gillian in her tent outside. Julia fell and hit her head on the steps so she was sad and got a big owie! Next we bought a birthday cake for Uncle Chuck and Grandpa Robinson - I picked it out and of course chose Star Wars! Then we went out to see them and Mommy's Aunt Karron and Uncle Bob were there too! We played outside and ate pizza together and then walked over to play with Cason and Colin - they were having a bonfire so we made Smores - yummy! We were getting tired so we had to go back to Grandma and Grandpa Iveys to sleep (they were out of town though so the cats had us for company instead)
5/24/2005	Julia and I played restuarant today with our stuffed animals - Mommy thought it was pretty cute until Julia tried to steal some of my play food and I told her no - then she grabbed my cheeks and tried to pull them off! Like always, I was very calm about it all but Mommy got upset with her and told her she had to play nice. We went out for supper with Jason, Alyssa, and Abby tonight! We hadn't seen Abby for a LONG time - she sure is getting big and fun! I told Mommy afterwards that I want them to come over so I can play with her.
5/23/2005	It was really nice outside so we played in the backyard - Mommy practiced making obstacle courses because we are going to have one for my birthday party! After supper we all went on a bike ride (well julia and I rode in the bike trailer) and we stopped for ice cream too!
5/22/2005	Yesterday we got all of our chores out of the way so today we went to Lake Vermillion to check out the campgrounds and we played at the park there. Julia sure loves the tornado slide and Daddy and I had fun on the merry-go-round! I can't wait to go back and camp there.
5/20/2005	It was graduation today! Julia had another temper tantrum when Mommy tried to dress her so it wasn't a good start but she was happy once we got there. We sang our songs, told everyone what we were going to be when when we grow up (a gymnastics girl of course) and then afterwards we all had cookies and punch in our room! Mommy was sad but I was just excited to be there. Afterwards Daddy said we could go out for lunch to celebrate so I asked him if we had enough money to maybe go to Red Lobster and he had to say yes of course since I was so cute about it! After lunch Julia napped and Mommy filled the pool so I could swim while she planted her flowers. Then we had Brad, Dena, Gillian, and Adam over to play all evening - it was a lot of fun!
5/19/2005	It was really nice out finally so played outside all day long! Andrew, Abby, and the babies came over after lunch and we played in the backyard and then walked to the park together. When Daddy got home, we grilled and then had to take our baths to get ready for my graduation tomorrow! I am very excited and keep telling Mommy and Daddy all these things we are going to be doing and I told them the "little kids" are singing with us but they don't get to wear hats like we do.
5/18/2005	We went to Prince Of Peace retirement home today and sang our graduation songs for practice! And we played in the gym and then our teachers gave us a gift to say goodbye. I told Mommy I changed my mind again and don't want to go to kindergarten now. Julia sure likes to play on the computer - she doesn't know how to do the mouse but she just tells me what to do. She likes the Barbie make-over cd and even pointed to it for Mommy and then put the cd in ALL BY HERSELF! Mommy was quite impressed and decided if she wanted to play that bad, she should probably help so they played that today while I was at school. (Of course Julia's favorite part is picking what color liplip Barbie wears!)
5/17/2005	We went flower shopping after supper and I picked out flowers for my teachers as thank-you gifts. I helped Mommy plant them in little pots when we got home and then I drew a nice picture for Mrs. LuAnn and one for Mrs. Blythe so we can take them tomorrow to school. It is my last day to practice for graduation!
5/16/2005	We celebrated my birthday in school today! Mommy made puppy chow for our snack and I decorated all the bags with Incredibles stickers. I also picked out a stuffed frog from the birthday box! I woke up at 6 this morning so after school I was very tired and crabby. Mommy wanted me to nap but I refused and we argued a lot until she told me I couldn't watch ZOOM unless I napped so I gave in. Julia and I were so excited to see Daddy after work and so was Mommy because then she could leave so us three went to Chuck E Cheese!
5/15/2005	It was finally nice and not raining today so we could play outside! Daddy mowed while we played and then he set up our new tent so Julia and I could play house. While Julia napped, Daddy and I went to the store to buy a chicken so we could grill it on a beer can - I thought that was pretty funny! We ate outside on the deck and then we went and visited our neighbors until it was bath and bedtime.
5/14/2005	Grandma and Grandpa decided since Julia is two, she can come with on our breakfast outings now BUT this morning when Mommy tried to get her dressed to go, she threw a huge fit! She cried and ran around and flung herself on the ground over and over so we ended up having to go without her. Mommy was quite frustrated with her and she ended up not even dressing her until lunchtime! After Grandma and Grandpa went back to Aberdeen, we watched Star Wars and took naps.
5/13/2005	Julia had her two year appointment today. She is 26lbs and 4oz and 34 inches tall. She had to have her blood taken but she did really good until they put a bandaid on her - she doesn't like bandaids so it came right back off! Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came at supper time today and we all ate out together. A duck had babies out on the deck so we went outside and fed them crackers - they were sure cute! Julia really likes baby birds since she got to pet the baby chicks at my preschool the other day.
5/12/2005	My school picnic was today and it was COLD! Daddy came home not feeling well so Mommy decided to let Julia take her nap and then we could go by ourselves. We packed our lunch and then went to the park to find our tables. After we ate, I played with my friends and of course got very muddy and wet!
5/11/2005	It was pouring when I went to school today so Mommy was very happy that Emily's Dad offered to walk me into school so Julia didn't have to get wet! We made Daddy a Father's Day present so he wouldn't feel left out because we won't be in school when the real Father's Day comes! I told Mommy I really missed DisneyWorld so we watched one of our tapes while Julia napped.
5/10/2005	We went tent shopping today - Mommy isn't having any luck reserving us a cabin this summer so she thinks we should just start tent camping instead. Daddy isn't so sure but he said we could try. I really wanted to sleep in the bunkbed but I guess a tent will be ok.
5/9/2005	We practiced our graduation songs today at school! Mommy, Julia, and I finished painting our caterpillar that we are putting outside - he looks pretty cute. I had my last night of gymnastics tonight and the teacher 'tested' us. We had to do forward and backward summersaults, walk on the balance beam forward and backwards, and try a tripod and cartwheel ALL by ourselves, without her help! Afterwards she gave us a sheet and it said I passed Mini Gymnastics and can go on to the beginner level in the fall if I want to!
5/8/2005	Happy Mother's Day!! I woke up early to give Mommy her present. Julia and I painted flowerpots at the pottery store. Then we met Grandma and Grandpa Ivey and Uncle Tom for breakfast! After Julia's nap, we took Mommy to work and went to the Kite Festival. Julia and I got our faces painted and flew my kite but after awhile it broke! So we picked up Mommy and took her out to eat at Olive Garden!
5/7/2005	I woke up just in time to go with Mommy to help with the rummage sale again. Julia and Daddy were still sleeping so we picked up donuts and ate them on the way and then I watched Star Wars with the kids (Andrew's cousins were there too). I was SO tired after lunch so Mommy packed up her stuff and we came home to nap.
5/6/2005	We had a Show-N-Tell about our moms today and had to bring something that reminded us of her. I took a barbie and told my friends that Mommy and I like to play Barbies together. Mommy was putting on her eyeliner today and I asked what it was for. She told me to make her eyes prettier but I said black isn't pretty so she should use pink. After Julia's nap, we went to Andrew and Abby's house to help with the rummage sale! All of us kids just played and played and then Daddy came and got us McDonalds for supper and then we played more until it was time to go home.
5/5/2005	I gave Mommy her Mother's Day present from school and she loved it! We painted our handprints on the card and our teacher wrote down all these things we liked about our Mommies and then I decorated a photo album for her. We played outside a lot today and then it rained after supper and a beautiful rainbow came out afterwards - Julia's first one and she thought it was very neat!
5/4/2005	I felt very good this morning and ate lots of breakfast since I was so hungry so Mommy said I could go to school - yippee! I showed all the kids my autograph book and then after school I went to Gracie's house to play and told Mommy that there "was lots of excitement there" when I got home. I also told her that their basement had ALL toys and no computers.
5/3/2005	I woke up with a stomachache today and even threw up after lunch so Mommy made me stay in her bed and watch tv but by bedtime I wanted to play!
5/2/2005	I went back to school today! All my friends were so glad to see me and when I came home I told Mommy how I wanted to play Incredibles with Eleah but I couldn't because EVERYONE wanted to play with me and they kept asking how my trip was and I said good but I wanted them to quit asking! Julia was very tired so fell asleep before 11 so Daddy came to pick me up. Mommy wanted me to sleep too but I said NO WAY! I had gymnastics too and Daddy took me so Mommy could work some more on rummage sale things.
5/1/2005	Happy May Day! Julia was sure tired today - she took two naps and went to bed before 8! Daddy and I watched a movie while Mommy worked around the house - it was just a lazy day. I am excited to go back to school tomorrow!
4/30/2005	Mommy and Daddy hoped we would sleep in but no luck there. We took our time getting ready and packing and then headed to Downtown Disney to shop! We ate lunch at a neat McDonald's, played in LegoLand, and found way too much stuff to buy (at least that is what Mommy said!). Then we headed to the airport because our plane left at 5:40pm. Julia hated flying again and screamed so much she became hoarse by the time we got to OH. The last flight Mommy finally asked if she could just hold Julia and they said yes (too bad she didn't think to ask that before!) and Julia was so much better and even slept most of the time. It was COLD when we got to Sioux Falls, even our house was cold since Mommy hadn't left the heater on! We played with the cats and then went to bed.
4/29/2005	Today was my breakfast at Cinderella's castle! We got to Magic Kingdom early so I rode Aladdin's magic carpets twice and saw Swiss Family Robinson's treehouse before going to the castle. It was sure neat - they had fancy napkins that I thought were pretty and Mommy and Daddy were very impressed with their food. I was too excited to eat much because Cinderella, Snow White, Mary Poppins, Belle, and my favorite, Wendy, were there! One by one they came to my table to sign my book and take a picture with me. After breakfast we played at Tom Sawyer's Island and met up with Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Mr. Smee! We saw another neat parade (Julia and I sure liked to wave at all the characters), watched a 3-D movie, rode Buzz Lightyear and then headed to our motel for supper. We all went swimming one last time afterwards and then went to bed. We were all very tired!
4/28/2005	Today was Sea World Day. We saw a sea lion show first with pirates and then the Shamu show before walking around and looking at the sharks and dolphins. Julia and I were getting tired so Mommy and Daddy decided to quit around 2 and head back for a nap. We ate across the street from our motel at Crab Shack Joe's - yummy! Then Mommy and I went swimming while Daddy put Julia to bed - I sure thought it was neat to swim at nighttime!
4/27/2005	Today we went to Animal Kingdom and rode the safari ride, visited with Lilo and Stitch, played at Dinoland USA in the boneyard park, and saw Pochahontas on our way out! We went swimming and then our motel grilled for supper so we ate outside on the patio tables and then went out for ice cream.
4/26/2005	We slept in and were lazy today. We went swimming and took a nap after lunch in our room and then went to MGM around 3. We found Woody, Buzz, and Jesse right away and ate at Pizza Planet before the parade. Then we watched a Playhouse Disney Show and an Ariel show before heading back to our room for an early bedtime.
4/25/2005	We went to Magic Kingdom today and wow, was it busy! We went on Pooh's honeypot ride first and Julia and I hated it - it was dark and went up and down some small hills and we were scared. So that pretty much decided our fate for the rest of the trip - no rides for us! We spent the afternoon in ToonTown and visited Mickey and then left the park for supper in our room. We came back at 8 for the night parade and fireworks -I loved those and Julia got very excited at all the characters - she just waved and smiled but she hated the fireworks - too noisy for her.
4/24/2005	We were all ready right away this morning so the time moved very slowly until our 11am flight. Finally we left and Julia hated flying -she cried most of the time and only slept for about an hour. I was scared on the first plane but by our second plane I was a pro and only had to hold Daddy's hand. Mommy cooked us supper in our motel when we got there and then we went to bed right away!
4/22/2005	I took Yoda to school today and we experimented with paint! We found out yellow and red make orange. I took all of my allowance I have saved to the bank today and they gave me paper money for it so Mommy said she will keep it until I decide what to buy on our vacation. Mommy had to work tonight so Daddy took us out for ice cream - yummy!
4/21/2005	Happy Birthday Aunt Bridget! We played at Andrew and Abby's house today - their baby brother and sister are sure getting big! They really like Star Wars too so we played it and fought the bad guys with our light sabers. Mommy and I made homemade pizza for supper - I sure like making it but I don't like eating it. After that we were ready for bed - we need lots of rest for our vacation that is coming up!
4/20/2005	We talked about Xrays today so I took Daddy's old xray of his broken hand. We are also talking about Y so Friday we get to pick which letter we want to bring our show-n-tell from - I am taking Yoda of course.
4/18/2005	We had to take Daddy to work since Mommy's truck is broken and then while I was at school a tow truck came to get it. Julia didn't like that too much! After lunch, Dena, Gillian, and Adam came over to play. I had gymnastics tonight and we practiced summersaults and cartwheels again!
4/17/2005	We went bowling today! Julia cried and didn't want to try it so I bowled for her until the middle of the game when she came running to the balls and yelled "my turn!" and she did it! And then she didn't want anyone else to take a turn after that. Julia and I ate lunch in our fort today and then after her nap we played outside again and grilled for supper! We even took a bike ride it was so nice.
4/16/2005	Mommy went shopping this morning so we played with Daddy after we calmed down - both Julia and I were crying quite a bit when Mommy left. After we napped we all played outside and Julia was sure funny. She pushed me and when Mommy told her no pushing, she said "I wanna push". Then Julia saw a dead worm on the driveway and she said "Snake, scared" and ran away crying. I kept waiting for the ice cream truck to come but he never did so then Daddy took me and Julia out to eat at Long John Silvers - and guess what - we LIKED it! Mommy stayed home to get ready for her supper with Kim and while we were gone, that silly ice cream truck came! So she bought us Dora ice cream treats and saved them for us when we got home -yummy!
4/15/2005	Today was Western Day so I wore a bandana and my teacher brought cowboy hats for everyone to wear. We made horses with wrapping paper tubes and then we had a rodeo in the gym and raced around cones! We had worms for our snack and I took a Witch for Show-N-Tell. Julia took a long nap today and Mommy was so happy because I played by myself the whole time so she could get rummage sale stuff together.
4/14/2005	Julia had her two year pictures taken this morning! We had some together first to get her ready and then by the time she had her alone ones, she was cranky so that plan didn't work so well. But Mommy was still happy and she took us out to lunch and we impressed her with how good we both were!
4/13/2005	We all overslept this morning so when Mommy woke up at 8:30, she couldn't believe we were both sleeping too! I had to get dressed and eat quickly before preschool because my class was going to the Washington Pavillion today. It was a lot of fun and after school Mommy took me and Julia to McDonalds to eat with Anna, her mommy and little sister. Mommy looked in my playroom tonight and noticed all the stuffed animals in a circle - I had storytime for them - and she thought that was pretty cute.
4/11/2005	Julia is really two today - Happy Cake, as she says! We talked about W in school today while Mommy and Julia went shopping. Daddy came home early today so we could go to my Kindergarten Registration and we took a tour of the school! Mommmy and Daddy decided there was enough time to go to Chuck E Cheese for supper to celebrate Julia's birthday. She loves going there because she gets "money" to put in the games but she usually runs away before the game is over to get more "money". They gave her a balloon and cotton candy too but she didn't like that very much so I helped her eat it. Afterwards I had gymnastics and we did an obstacle course there!
4/9/2005	Happy Early Birthday Julia!! We woke up really early this morning (6:30) and Julia was so excited to see the living room all decorated for her party. She ran around oohing and ahhing and even said "WOW". Then she opened some presents and we all got dressed and went out for donuts. After breakfast we went swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's motel and then we came home for a nap. Finally her party started (I was ready for it to start at 7 this morning!). We threw Cookie Monster cookies, put Elmo's nose on, and flew some paper airplanes before Julia opened her gifts and ate cake. Then we all played dress up and even played outside too. It was sure a fun party and afterwards we went out to eat with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey before coming home and going to bed.
4/8/2005	I took an empty bottle of vitamins to school for show-n-tell today but somehow my teacher missed me so I was very sad when Mommy asked me about it. Grandma Ivey came with to pick me up though and then after lunch she took me shopping! But after two stops, I became sad again and missed Mommy so she took me home and Mommy decided I needed a nap and after battling with Julia too, we both finally fell asleep at 3. Grandpa and Grandma Robinson got to town at supper time so we ate out together and then we had to get home so I could wrap the present I picked our for Julia because her party is tomorrow!
4/7/2005	We had to take Shelby and Haley to the vet for their shots today and Julia was quite upset when the vet tried to get them out of the carrier - she said "lady NO touch Shelby!" I was really tired today so Mommy laid down with me so I would finally take a nap and then after we all woke up, we played outside all afternoon! AND Grandma Ivey surprised us in the backyard! We didn't think we would see her until tomorrow but she left Grandpa at his meetings and played and ate supper with us.
4/6/2005	We ate vegetables for our snack today - I tried broccoli with ranch and told Mommy I liked it! We had my peas, carrots, and someone brought celery but I didn't want that. And there were red and yellow peppers too but I didn't want those either. Julia searches all over for me now when she wakes up from her nap-I was on the computer and I heard her say "Callie wha are u?" Mommy met a friend for supper tonight so Daddy took us to Culvers and for once Julia just waved good-bye instead of crying when Mommy left.
4/5/2005	We took Julia to visit Kingdom Kids this morning! I went when I was one and two but Julia hasn't ever been there before so I showed her around and talked to my old teacher. Mommy said Julia is going to go when I start kindergarten. We made Noah's ark with animal stickers there and then we played outside - Julia sure had fun! We played outside all afternoon because it was so nice and then after supper, Mommy and I went shopping so I could pick out a present for Julia and Daddy and Julia went to the nursery to buy medicine for our tree because it is sick.
4/4/2005	I took my snow peas today but we aren't doing anything with them until Wednesday. We did paint some violets today though! And we played outside until Daddy came home and then we all ate at a new buritto restuarant but it was yucky. I had gymnastics and we had to try and put our knees on our elbows - the first part of a headstand! Most of us just kept falling over so Mommy thought it was funny to watch.
4/3/2005	Julia and I played outside while Mommy and Daddy trimmed bushes. Daddy filled my bike tires and they were surprised at how fast I can go now - but I still get off to turn it around. We were both tired from playing last night so we took a long nap and then Mommy had kites for us so we went to the park and flew them. Then we hit the grocery store for steaks AND I got to pick out a vegetable to take to school for V week - I picked snow peas, my favorite!!
4/2/2005	Daddy took me and Julia out for breakfast and then we shopped all morning so Mommy could clean. We brought her home purple tulips! We took a nap so we could stay up late tonight and then Daddy took us away again - this time to Falls Park and we had a snack at the new restaurant. When we came home Mommy was finished and Andrew and Abby and the twins were on their way to our house. We all ate supper together and played outside and inside all night long. Julia asked to go to bed at 8:30 but the rest of us stayed up til almost 10!
4/1/2005	I ran right into Mommy and Daddy's room this morning and yelled Happy April Fool's Day and then I told Mommy she had a bug on her back. I took a map of the United States to school for our U show-n-tell today. Mommy asked me if I knew were we going on vacation and Julia yelled out "airplane" so I guess she knows how we will get there! Daddy grilled tonight and Julia and I drove around in the jeep. Happy Birthday Uncle Jon!
3/31/2005	Uncle Tom came over this morning and we played dress up - he was a fireman. After naptime (and yes I actually napped today!) Julia and I doctored Mommy and I told her to cry when I gave her a shot. She pretended to and Julia said "don't cry, sad? OH blankie!" and she ran to get her blankie to make Mommy feel better.
3/30/2005	It was raining and thundering today so I wore my new Cinderella raincoat! Mommy wanted Julia to wear my old one but she got mad and wanted to wear the pink 'dora' coat (except it isn't Dora, it is a Cabbage Patch coat) but after school she decided to be a ladybug after all. Julia told Mommy she wanted to nap while I was at school so she did and then Mommy complained because that made the rainy afternoon seem even LONGER! She went to work as soon as Daddy got home so we went to the mall to eat and play.
3/29/2005	It was really nice again so we played outside a lot. Julia even went on the swing and she liked it! We drove the jeep around and Julia kept yelling "go go" - she wanted me to go faster. We came inside to watch ZOOM so Mommy could make supper and I told Mommy it was a 'runover' but that was ok I would watch it again. Julia said 'no thank-you' today and 'I love you'!
3/28/2005	I didn't have school today so we just played all day. It was SO nice out so after Julia's nap, we went outside and blew bubbles and drew with my sidewalk chalk. We also played in the sandbox and went down the slide until supper time. I had gymnastics and Daddy brought our new video camera to record me!
3/27/2005	Happy Easter! I woke up at 6 and told Mommy the Easter Bunny came - I saw some of the eggs because he didn't hide some very good, one was just sitting right on the table! Julia woke up right after me so we all went downstairs and found lots and lots of eggs - they each had a jellybean in them! We found our baskets too and I got a princess monopoly game and Julia got Bambi and then we each got a princess phone in a purse, princess plate and cup, a yo-yo, socks, sidewalk chalk, a crown, AND a chocolate bunny. We all went out for brunch and saw Uncle Tom working and then we played games all day.
3/26/2005	We went over to Grandma and Grandpa Ivey's house as soon as we got our car packed this morning! Grandma made a picnic lunch that we took over to Great- Grandma Ivey's and we met Great Grandma & Grandpa Anglin and Kim, Jackie, and Ashlynn over there too! We played the organ for everyone and Julia shared her sunglasses with Ashlynn and even colored with her too. After Daddy took a nap and we became even more crabby it was time to go home. I slept almost the whole way back but Julia just played nicely until she dropped her 'darbie' and said 'darbie falled!' so Daddy reached it to give to her and she got mad, threw it back on the floor and said "NO Mommy help!" so then Mommy had to get it off the floor instead. She is pretty silly sometimes! I woke up in time to see the pretty orange moon and to set out carrots for the Easter Bunny and I told Daddy that I sure hope he doesn't forget us.
3/25/2005	After lunch Grandma and Grandpa hid Easter Eggs outside so Julia and I went on an egg hunt. She was confused and scared of the eggs at first but then she had a lot of fun and kept saying 'more!' While Julia napped, I went on a four wheeler ride with Grandpa and then I went over to Cason's house for an Easter egg hunt with some other kids! When I came back, Grandpa lit some fireworks - parachutes for me to chase down. I kept wanting him to do more and more and then Julia woke up and he did some for her too. She didn't like the noise but she liked playing with the parachute afterwards! Mommy's Uncle Chuck, cousin Chris and her friend came over for supper and then it was dark so we did MORE fireworks! Finally we were SO tired and I told Mommy I was ready for bed - Julia and I were both fast asleep by 9 so we didn't even know that Mommy and Daddy left to see their friends!
3/24/2005	I helped Mommy make Nests with Eggs (jellybeans) in them today and then we packed our bags to go to Aberdeen! Daddy got off work at 3 and we got there in time to eat supper with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey and then we went to sleep at Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house. First we went outside to sit in the hot tub though!
3/23/2005	We had an Easter Egg Hunt today at school - the eggs had letters on them and we each had to look for certain letters! Julia really likes to play "darbies" now - even when I am at school she gets out my dolls and their clothes and wants Mommy to help dress them. After school, some of my friends went to McDonalds so Mommy took me and Julia too and we all played together. My friends all liked playing with Julia and helping her up when some of the mean kids there ran too fast and knocked her down!
3/22/2005	It was Gillian's birthday today and she had a princess party so we were supposed to come dressed up! She had a neat castle cake, we played princess bingo, made crowns with jewels we found on a treasure hunt, and she had a pinata too. It was lots of fun and Julia was good too so Mommy could enjoy it. Julia counted to four today and later she said 'three, four, seven, eight' She is also starting to remember some colors so everything isn't blue now. Of course she is still wrong but at least she says orange, yellow, and brown once in awhile!
3/21/2005	We made neat snacks at school so I had to tell Mommy all about them - first we dipped a big marshmallow in oil and then dipped it in cinnamon and sugar. Then we wrapped dough all around it and baked it. When we ate it, the marshmallow was gone, just like Jesus was gone when they opened the tomb! Julia can count now and when she brings her shoes to Mommy she says, "one, two". I had gymnastics but we just did the same things and I told Mommy I want to do NEW things so I was mad (and tired) when class was over.
3/20/2005	We went shopping today and Mommy bought a new game for us to play - its a map of DisneyWorld and you have to go on your rides before anyone else -we played it after supper and it was lots of fun! Daddy and I watched StarWars today too - Mommy doesn't like that movie so she went shopping instead.
3/19/2005	I went to Emily's birthday party today and we played some games and made a necklace there! After I came home, it was so nice out so we played in the snow and even made a snowman. Julia was really tired at supper and kept saying "night night" and "bed!" so Mommy took her to bed at 6:30 and she went right to sleep - Mommy sure hopes that doesn't mean she is going to wake up super early tomorrow!
3/18/2005	Happy Birthday Uncle Tom! We took him out for supper tonight to celebrate. I was very excited to see SNOW when I woke up. Daddy took me to school since he decided to work from home because we were getting over a foot of snow. Julia and I played in it while he snowblowed and after her nap we all went sledding at the sledding hill. It was SO big that I got scared until Mommy went down first and then Daddy and I went. It is so big that you get really tired walking back up though so he had to rest before we could go again and then we went on little hills. Julia didn't like the sled at all so she just watched. After supper, we went shoe shopping. Julia was very hyper and bringing Mommy and Daddy every display shoe she could find and then running away to find another. Mommy said it was a wonder they both found a pair to buy but at least she didn't have tantrums!
3/17/2005	Andrew and Abby came over to play with their new baby brother and sister, Megan and Matthew. I held Megan for awhile and Mommy got to hold both of them! They ate lunch at our house and then we played some more until Julia got so tired she fell asleep in Mommy's arms and then they went home so Abby could nap too. Mommy and I were picking up all the plastic Easter eggs tonight and Julia said "baby help!" and she helped us clean up!
3/16/2005	We made telephones today and wrote our phone numbers on them at school so after lunch Mommy made us a playhouse and we used my phone to call Peter Pan and invite him over. Abby didn't come over today - she started going to a daycare now because her Mommy is going to work every day. We had a picnic supper with Daddy while we watched the new Baby Jack-Jack part of the Incredibles movie - Mommy had to work so she missed it. Julia saw a white cat outside and started yelling "shelby outside shelby outside" but Daddy todl her it was ok because it was a different cat so then she calmed down.
3/15/2005	Julia keeps talking about herself as the baby even though she isn't a baby anymore! Today I went outside to play and Julia ran up to Mommy and said "baby coat - out!!" because she wanted her coat on to go outside. I forgot to tell you I had my haircut yesterday and Julia saw a little boy getting a sucker when he was done and she kept screaming sucker over and over until the lady gave her one too - she gets pretty loud so you can't ignore her very well. We dyed our Easter Eggs tonight!
3/14/2005	We are talking about the letter T this week and about Easter - we even made cross necklaces! Mommy took Julia to the playland at the mall so she could play with Charlie - they had fun. We are all sad today because we had to give up Lollipop. Daddy took me to gymnastics (I did get in the new session after all!) and afterwards we got ice cream to make us feel better.
3/13/2005	Today was our lazy day. After lunch we finally got ready and went shopping for a little bit - I found new sunglasses to take with to DisneyWorld - they have Tinkerbell on them! I ask Mommy to read the guidebook that tells about Disney ALL the time - Daddy thinks we are pretty silly since it is still over a month away but we have fun deciding which things we are going to do. Julia asked "why" a LOT today - she is pretty silly!
3/12/2005	This morning we rested and then after both Julia and I napped, we went to the motel to swim. Julia had fun this time and enjoyed the water. Daddy still didn't feel good so he only watched but I showed him how good I can paddle my floatie around! We all came back to our house and ordered pizza and played until bedtime. We said good-bye to Grandma and Grandpa because they are going to leave early in the morning so we won't see them tomorrow.
3/11/2005	I woke up early again this morning because I thought Grandma was going to sleep over but I found out Mommy had taken her back to the motel. We went to the gymnastics academy for a field trip and I played on the trampoline, the balance beams, bars, and other neat things with all my school friends! Daddy came home sick again today so he decided not to meet Grandma and Grandpa for supper tonight and Mommy left Julia with him since she was pretty cranky and tired too. Then we went swimming and I showed Grandpa how I can swim by myself in my floatie!
3/10/2005	Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came to town late last night and so I woke up at 6:30 and had my swimsuit on by 7 to go swimming with Grandma. It took Mommy and Julia a little longer but we were there around 9 and I did so good floating around in my tube and I even walked along the side of the 3 foot area all by myself so Mommy was quite proud. Julia was scared but she also is still not feeling well so she mostly sat on the step and watched. After swimming, we had food brought to the room and just ate there - Grandpa even stopped to say hi when he had a break from his meetings. We brought Grandma home later because Mommy had to watch Abby again and then after supper Mommy went to watch Daddy play darts so Grandma babysat. We played restuarant and painted until bedtime.
3/9/2005	We had Silly Day at school today so I wore a Mickey Mouse tank top on top of my green shirt, different socks, and my visor upside down (Daddy thought I looked like a gangster). Mrs. LuAnn had blue hair and a clown costume on so Julia got really scared and wouldn't come in the room! Our silly snack was eating paint! Actually it was chocolate pudding that we 'painted' with and then ate. Daddy was sick all day today so we just let him sleep while we played with Abby.
3/8/2005	Mommy took us grocery shopping today and Julia threw a huge tantrum at the store and threw a soup can on the floor. Mommy was quite mad and said she didn't want to take us shopping anymore!
3/7/2005	I went back to school today and we talked about the letter S and made a snake puzzle. I was very tired when Mommy picked me up so I took a nap and then we decided to miss gymnastics after my teacher called to tell me I can go back to the next session after all! Julia was very tired and cranky so Mommy put her down for a nap at 5 and she just kept sleeping so I guess that was her bedtime! I went to bed at 7:30 too so maybe we can start feeeling better soon.
3/6/2005	It was super nice out today so Daddy took us out for lunch and to the zoo while Mommy worked and did some shopping. Then Mommy and I played outside while Julia napped and Daddy started grilling - I was sad when Mommy told me it was going to go back to being winter tomorrow.
3/5/2005	Julia and I both woke up without a fever this morning so Mommy was very happy that we are starting to feel better! After her nap, we went to Dairy Queen for an ice cream treat and even saw my Doctor there - she was glad we were looking better too! Julia says 'cuse you' now when someone burps (mainly Daddy) and she says Sorry too when she bumps you (if you say OW!). It was super nice out so we grilled and played in the sand box.
3/4/2005	I had to miss school today and Mommy missed my conferences but Mrs. LuAnn said she can do it another day. Julia and I still had a fever all day so we had lots of jello, sprite, and popsicles. Mommy made us homemade play-doh and we had a lot of fun with that too! After supper Julia said "tub tub yah!" and clapped so Mommy decided we would take a bath to help us feel better.
3/3/2005	I woke up in the middle of the night with a bad fever too so Mommy had to give me medicine and sleep with me for awhile (until Julia woke up and she had to go be with her). We both went to the Doctor today and they took my blood - I didn't like that AT ALL - I screamed and tried to get away but Mommy held me tight and after it was all over she told me I was really brave. We had to go get medicine afterwards and I told Mommy I didn't feel like going into a store so good thing Walgreens has a drive-up! Daddy came home and tried to find us something we would try to eat while Mommy went to my kindergarten meeting and when she came home and told me about all the stuff I get to do there, I told her I decided I would go after all. Mommy had to rock Julia to sleep and then lay with me because we were both not feeling well at all and Daddy was at darts. I started coughing so hard that I threw up and that was very scary but I finally fell asleep.
3/2/2005	We painted rainbows today in school and we are making a robin too! We are also learning about Easter in chapel so I told Mommy all about it when I got home. We watched Abby today but we didn't get to go out to Qdoba with Jason because Julia was sick with a fever.
3/1/2005	I had my dentist appointment this morning - I was very excited because I like picking out my prize from the prize box afterwards and I didn't have any cavities!! After Julia's nap, we went to visit Andrew's new babies, Megan and Matthew - I even held Matthew. They sure have lots of hair! We took Andrew and Abby with us and went to Chuck E Cheese! Mommy sure thought it was funny listening to me and Andrew tell our jokes on the drive there and then we met Daddy and played lots of games. I even decided to be brave and follow Andrew and Abby up in the tubes and came down the slide - of course a worker helped by coming up with me the first time. We played all evening and then we had to get Andrew and Abby home because it was getting late!
2/28/2005	We learned about the letter R today at school! Mommy tried to sign me up again for gymnastics but she was too late and it is already full so next week is my last class - I was sad. We worked on cartwheels again tonight and practiced our summersaults.
2/27/2005	Daddy lost his game today so he was home early but he still won 9th place and they even gave him money which I told him he had to save for DisneyWorld. We all went to look at the toy store today and Mommy was very impressed that I chose to save my christmas money for Disneyworld instead of buy something there - but I did tell her I was getting sick of putting things on my birthday list. We ate out for supper (even though I told them we shouldn't) and when the waitress came to ask what we wanted to drink, Julia said "beer!"
2/26/2005	Daddy did really good in his dart tournement again and won lots of games so he gets to play again tomorrow! Mommy and I have been making things for Julia's birthday party already - she is having a Sesame Street Party. She likes Elmo, Burp (Bert), Ernie, Monster (Cookie Monster), and Bird (Big Bird) so we made all those characters out of toilet paper rolls and she was very excited!
2/25/2005	We went over all the letters we have learned so far and could bring anything for show-n-tell that started with one of them. I took my dog flashlight I got for Christmas! Daddy was done with his dart tournement by 3 so we all went shopping and then ate out at Outback and I had a steak all by myself and shared Daddy's sweet potato! Mommy and Daddy were so impressed that I ate all that - and of course Julia only ate a few french fries.
2/23/2005	I finally had school again today! We even got prizes today for being so good in chapel. We watched Abby today and Julia played Peek-a-boo with her and I rolled a ball to her again - she is really good at that now.
2/22/2005	Mommy and I are trying to teach Julia her colors but she just thinks everything is blue. We ate at the mall tonight and Daddy tried to share a bite of ice cream from Julia's bowl and she started screaming and threw her spoon on the floor and pushed the bowl across the table. So Daddy took it and started eating more and then she screamed even louder! I wanted to wear my headphones I put on when Julia is too noisy but I didn't have them with.
2/21/2005	I didn't have school today so we went to play at Gillian's house instead! Daddy took me to gymnastics and we did dips on the balance beam tonight. The kids were being very naughty and pushing and running around but Daddy was proud of me because I stood very nicely in line!
2/20/2005	We watched part of the Daytona Race with Daddy and then we all went shopping at Target. I even tried on new spring clothes with Mommy and I picked out a new Dora dress!
2/19/2005	Grandma and Grandpa had class again today but we saw them on their lunch break and we went out for supper with them before they had to go back to Aberdeen. Julia says 'maka' for grandma and grandpa now!
2/18/2005	Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came to visit this afternoon and we all ate together before they had to go to class!
2/16/2005	Daddy came to pick me up today and he watched us play the island game! Mrs. LuAnn is the shark and we are all fish and she tries to eat whatever fish don't make it to an island when the music stops. He said it was pretty fun to watch because we were all laughing and screaming. I told Mommy she had to dust today because Peter Pan is coming tomorrow!
2/15/2005	Daddy came home today for a long lunch so Mommy could rest because she still isn't feeling well.
2/14/2005	Happy Valentine's Day! Mommy and Daddy had valentines on the table for us when we woke up and another one by the sink when we brushed our teeth! We learned about the letter Q today in school and we took a walk outside and played Follow The Leader. Julia is starting to sleep better so Mommy hopes that means she is going to feel better soon too. Daddy took Julia shopping and she had a fit and called Mommy's truck icky so he had to take his car instead and then at the store she even said "bye bye dada's car" as they walked inside! I learned how to do cartwheels tonight at gymnastics and the teacher said I did really good for my first time!
2/13/2005	Julia had a very bad night last night - she sure isn't feeling very well. We just stayed in our pjs all day and played games with Grandma and colored. Daddy and Grandpa went shopping and when they got back Mommy and Grandma went out for their turn. Julia and I started getting pretty crabby and tired so Grandma and Grandpa decided to head home so we could get a good night's rest - and we both took our bath and were in bed by 7:30!
2/12/2005	Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came to visit today! We played outside and then we went to the zoo. I showed them where all the animals were because they hadn't been there in a long time! Julia didn't feel very well so she just rode in her stroller. We all ate out at Red Lobster afterwards and then came home to play before bed.
2/11/2005	I had my valentine's party today! We had cupcakes, played a game, and made necklaces before exchanging our valentines - it was sure fun. After Julia's nap, Mommy took her to the Doctor because she has been very cranky and not sleeping and Mommy had a sore throat and wondered if JuJu did too - they don't have strep though so that is good, they just have to rest so it goes away.
2/10/2005	After lunch, Gillian and Adam came over with Dena to play. Our mommies got a little tired of reminding us to play nicely and share so I guess we need to work on that a little bit. Adam sure moves around fast too - he can even climb the step to get up on the wood floor now!
2/9/2005	We aren't learning a new letter this week because we are talking about Valentine's Day and love and hearts - I even told Mommy that our hearts are muscles just like in our arms and legs! We watched Abby today and Julia likes to say 'tickle tickle' and then try to tickle you so we did that to Abby and she laughed a lot.
2/8/2005	We played outside in the snow today - Julia and I scooped snow into a bucket and made snow soup! Afterwards we came in for hot chocolate and crackers -yummy! I was SO tired that I went upstairs and right to bed without even telling Mommy. She thought I was playing so nicely in my room and when she checked on me I was fast asleep and when she tried to wake me at five, I told her I didn't even want to watch ZOOM! Of course when I woke up at 5:30 I was crying because I missed it so good thing Mommy recorded it!
2/7/2005	We decorated our Valentine's bags today and we made our moms and dads a card! Julia played playdoh while Mommy finished painting the kitchen and Daddy even picked me up so Mommy didn't have to be interrupted. Mommy and I ate out and then went to gymnastics together while Daddy and Julia went to the mall to walk around and eat at Burger King just like we always used to do on Mondays! The lady there even remembered Daddy and asked him where I was - she said she remembered when I was Julia's age even!!
2/6/2005	Mommy started painting our kitchen today so Julia and Daddy went shopping and I played house. Daddy made baby hotdogs and other snacks for our SuperBowl party - but it was just us having the party. Mommy and I started reading a new chapter book again - this time it is Ramona the Pest!
2/5/2005	I have been playing Incredibles a lot lately and I trap myself in places and yell for ElastiGirl to save me. Julia always comes and asks me "you ok?" - it is pretty funny! I forgot to tell you she kept telling Daddy 'happy' yesterday too but she couldn't say birthday.
2/4/2005	Happy Birthday Daddy!! We had a pajama party at school and made popcorn and played pillow games (we all brought our pillows). After lunch, Julia and I helped Mommy make Daddy's cake - Julia even poured the water and oil in so it was her first time helping! We played outside since it was SO nice and then when Daddy came home we took him out to eat and came home to open his gifts and eat cake.
2/3/2005	It was a super nice day today so after Julia napped, we all went to the zoo and met Gillian and Adam there too!
2/2/2005	We went to visit our Great Grandma Ivey today and played lots more and then we met Mommy and Daddy in Watertown on their way home from Minneapolis. We all ate supper together and then we came home. After watching Dora, both Julia and I fell asleep so Mommy just carried us into bed.
2/1/2005	Mommy and Daddy went to a concert in Minneapolis so Julia and I stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey! We went to storytime at their library, visited Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin (and swam in their big bathtub) and played with our second cousin, Ashlynne!!
1/31/2005	We are talking about the letter P now in school. Mommy and Julia went shopping but she fell asleep before it was time to come get me so Daddy suprised me and picked me up instead!
1/30/2005	My preschool class sang at the church today and Mommy came to watch me! Julia was napping so she and Daddy stayed home and then afterwards we all went shopping. Julia had a huge tantrum at Sam's club and spilled my sample cup of milk all over me so Mommy had to clean me up. I told her I am sick of her tantrums and we should just sell her. But later we gave each other a hug!
1/29/2005	Mommy woke up really early this morning just to reserve a spot for us to eat breakfast with Cinderella at her castle while we are in Florida - when I woke up and she told me about it, I gave her a big hug! We met Aaron and Alison for lunch today at the Olive Garden (of course since that is Aaron's favorite restaurant!).
1/28/2005	I took my orangutan for show-n-tell and we wore orange today too! We had Olympics and we all won gold medals and then ate Oreos for our snack. After lunch, Mommy and Daddy gave us a card with a ticket in it to DisneyWorld! Mommy said we were going to go there and the first thing I said was "for real?" She showed me a picture of the plane and where we get to sit too - I am sure excited!
1/26/2005	It was Mrs. Blythe's 50th birthday today so we had a party with cake for her! Some of the kids from school went to McDonalds afterschool for lunch and Daddy was SO nice and came home to watch Julia and Abby so we could go too - it was a lot of fun! I even went down the slide - something I have never done before at the playland so Mommy was very impressed. Daddy even got to watch Abby again when he got home because Mommy had a supper date with a friend!
1/24/2005	We talked about the letter O today in school and I insisted I had to bring my seashell that I filled with sand this summer since we were going to talk about the ocean. Mommy tried to tell me it wasn't show-n-tell today but I didn't care. After supper, I had gymnastics and I was so excited all day for it. Daddy took me and we did summersaults again and this time we walked backwards on the balance beam (holding our teacher's hand).
1/23/2005	We went to the Big Boy Toy Show today and looked at a huge Monster Truck. On the way home, Mommy and Daddy thought about eating out but I told Mommy "remember you told me to remind you we CAN'T eat out because we want to save money to go to DisneyWorld someday!" She was pretty surprised I remembered that so we decided to come home and eat. I started a chore/sticker chart in 2005 and every week if I get lots of stickers and no more than four sad faces, I get four quarters and last week I did!! This week I forgot to brush my teeth a lot in the morning so I didn't get my money but maybe next time. I also have to pick up my toys and clear my dishes at each meal and I am very good at these things!
1/22/2005	Daddy recorded Dora for us today and Julia heard the music from upstairs and dropped her toy and went running saying "dora dora" - I guess she likes her!
1/21/2005	Mommy and I played lots of games again today while Julia napped and then Daddy brought our truck home after work so I didn't miss Zoom! Julia is saying lots of words together now - "what's that" and "i want paci". She is pretty much only taking one nap now and even can make it until 8 for bedtime so we can both brush our teeth together and then she copies me and tries to spit like I do - it is silly!
1/20/2005	Mommy took us shopping and then we picked up Daddy for lunch since he was getting tired of eating at work. Jason brought him home again so I didn't have to miss ZOOM but now I am upset because there are new kids on it and I miss the other ones!
1/19/2005	We took Daddy to work again this morning and then Mommy took me to school. We had Abby after lunch and she was fun to play ball with - she even tried to roll it back to me! Jason brought Daddy home and brought us supper too and then he had to look at Daddy's new media center (we have a computer in our family room now!).
1/18/2005	Julia points to the tv and says "moonies" (movies) when she wants to watch something and if Mommy says 'no' she gets VERY mad and smacks the tv really hard and then cries and says "ow". She is silly. We played restaurant together and Mommy was so proud to watch us get each other food and pretend to eat! She is getting so big - she even takes her clothes to her hamper before our bath and tonight she laid down in the tub all by herself over and over. She even blows bubbles in the water.
1/17/2005	I didn't have school today and I missed ZOOM again since we had to pick Daddy up from work - I told Mommy that he should just not go to work anymore! After supper, I started my gymnastics class - it was SO much fun! We ran around and played tag, played with a parachute, rolled on the mats like pencils, did summersaults, and walked on a balance beam! I can't wait til next Monday and I was very mad to find out that it is seven days away.
1/16/2005	Happy Birthday Grandma Ivey!! Julia is back to her normal self - which means throwing a lot of temper tantrums! She can say "gone" now when her milk is all gone and then she hands her cup to Mommy and says "pease" for more please. We went shopping today and rested. Daddy even made supper for us - scallops - and I liked them!
1/15/2005	We went to the pavillion today to play and when we were crossing the street to go back to our car Mommy fell while she was carrying Julia! Julia smacked her head on the street really hard so we had to go to the doctor and he said Julia was so tired that he thought we better go to the ER for a catscan! Mommy felt so bad especially because I told her you are NOT supposed to run across the street - Daddy always tells me that. By the time the dr was ready for us though Julia was back to her normal self so she didn't need a catscan after all! We went home and played with her and Mommy and Daddy were going to watch her all night while she slept.
1/14/2005	We had to take Daddy to work today since our truck was still broken and then I went to school. I took my monkey to show-n-tell and we had marshmallows for a snack! Mommy taped straws to all my paper dolls I have been making so I could use them as puppets and then I gave her a puppet show while Julia napped. We picked up Daddy and dropped him off at the fix-it shop after work and I asked Mommy what time it was. When I found out it was after five, I cried and got very mad because I was missing Zoom, my very favorite show! I told Mommy the yellow car should have four wheel drive because then we could get to our house faster so I wouldn't miss it.
1/13/2005	I brought Mommy lots of my stuffed animals because she was sad when she found out her truck was a lot more broken than she thought. I asked her if she felt better after they snuggled with her and she did! Julia will give you a hug now if you tell her you love her and she likes to whisper in your ear but only I know what she is saying.
1/12/2005	We moved things with magnets and put our mittens on and played with ice in the water table today after we playing a matching mittens game! We watched Abby again today and while she and Julia napped, Mommy and I played board games. We went out for supper with Jason and then Mommy went to a meeting so we watched a movie together.
1/11/2005	I wanted to do valentine projects today so Mommy found some fun things to do while Julia napped and then when she woke up we painted and played with play-do! We even played outside while it was snowing because Mommy said it is going to be too cold the next few days to come out. Daddy had to work late so we ate supper by ourselves and then watched old movies of when me and Julia were babies so Mommy could label everything! I asked Mommy who the lady was that was holding Julia in the hospital and it was Mommy - I forgot she had short hair then! Then we watched me learning how to walk and I kept saying "look she fell down" - Mommy thought that was funny since it was me.
1/10/2005	We had Master Hoover come in to our class today and talk about Martial Arts (it is M week!). We also talked about monkeys and learned a new song. After supper Daddy came with us to help pick out new shoes for Julia!
1/9/2005	Daddy had darts again today and Mommy worked on her wallpaper so Julia and I played and Mommy said we played really well by ourselves all day so she was happy! I pretended all my stuffed animals were at a birthday party and I gave them all cake and juice and Mommy even found old birthday hats I could put on their heads.
1/8/2005	Daddy had a darts tournament today so we went to watch but it was too smokey so we left. It was Holly's birthday party today so I went there and we played games and had yummy Hello Kitty Cake!
1/7/2005	We had our luau at Mrs. LuAnne's house today! She drove us over there and we all wore leis (and I had to wear my grass skirt of course) and then we danced along to a video. We had cookies and fruit shakes and met her cat before coming back to school. I told Mommy her house wasn't a very good one though because it didn't have one single toy - not even a toy box!! After Julia's nap we went over to Andrew and Abby's house. Mommy picked them up from daycare and then we played while we waited for our Daddys to get there and Mommy cooked us supper. Kim has to rest a lot now so her babies don't come early so we thought it would be fun to help her out!
1/6/2005	We babysat Abby all day today and Julia slept more than she did so Mommy thought that was weird! But she wasn't crabby so we had fun playing with her. Julia likes to say "dada home?" all the time now whenever she hears a noise that might be Daddy coming in the door.
1/5/2005	I had school but our luau is going to be Friday instead because there was a LOT of snow and our teachers didn't want to get stuck. After lunch Uncle Tom came over to play with us while Mommy worked on her kitchen and then he snowblowed the driveway and I helped! Mommy and Julia came out to because she started crying when she saw me outside. She showed Tom her potty chair too - she has been saying potty and sitting on it but Mommy said she has no idea what it is really all about - it is just a fun chair to her named "potty". When Daddy came home we all took Tom to Chuck E Cheese with us and he helped me win lots of tickets for some neat prizes!
1/4/2005	Mommy decided to finally start taking off the wallpaper in our kitchen and I helped! She was very surprised by how long I stuck with it and I did a whole section almost all by myself. It started snowing today so Mommy took a break and took us outside - it was Julia's first time walking in snow and she loved it! It wasn't sticky so we couldn't make a snowman but we made snow angels and just ran around in it and then Mommy pulled us in the sled. Daddy hurt his back trying to move the snowblower to the front of the garage so now he has to lay down and Mommy and I had to shovel (since she doesn't know how to use the snowblower). I went and helped our neighbor, Jackie, with her steps too! And then she and I played while Mommy finished up.
1/3/2005	I went back to school today - I was so excited that I was giving hugs to all my friends! We started talking about the letter L today and next time we get to go to Mrs. LuAnn's house for a luau and wear leis!!
1/2/2005	We went to a hockey game tonight! It was family fun night so we got hot dogs, pop, and popcorn with our tickets so we ate supper there - it was sure fun - even Julia really liked it. When we were getting ready to leave Daddy had to stop at the bathrooms and Julia tried to run down the hall to follow him, screaming Dada the whole time and when Mommy caught her she started crying and hitting Mommy! I told Mommy that she isn't very nice sometimes and maybe we should fire her from our family! (can you tell we watch Apprentice?)
1/1/2005	Happy New Year!! Julia and I both slept in a little bit (8:30) so Mommy was happy about that. We mostly played games and with my new toys today because it was very icy outside so we didn't want to go anywhere.
