12/31/2006	Callie and I were pretty excited for New Years Eve! We played webkinz all morning and then we went to the Pavillion to buy tickets for First Night. We did crafts, watched a puppet show and then headed to another location to watch more shows. They had pizza there so we ate supper and then it was time for the last show - we danced a lot during that one! We got all bundled up and had a parade to watch fireworks and then we rode the trolley around downtown. I fell asleep since I hadn't napped but I woke up once we got home and had to watch the ball drop with Callie. Happy New Years!
12/30/2006	We went rollerskating today! Mommy and Daddy had hoped to take us tubing at the ski hill but it rained all day yesterday and was raining again today! Then Daddy and Callie went shopping and had to buy Mommy her very own webkinz because she likes to play ours so much! They got her a cat - I have a pug and Callie has a monkey and for those of you who don't know what they are - they are stuffed animals but also computer games and you can buy all these things to decorate their rooms with and you have to feed them and play games to win more money to buy MORE stuff! Its very addictive. Then we watched a movie before my bedtime. Callie stayed up to play games with Daddy and Mommy.
12/29/2006	We stayed home today so Mommy could clean and get ready for our company but then they called and said the weather was getting bad there so they weren't coming after all. I took and nap and then Mommy & Callie worked on her new solar system kit. She painted all the planets and after they are dry we are going to hang them in our playroom to use in our school! After supper Daddy took us to Best Buy and then it was bedtime.
12/28/2006	Mommy took us shopping today and then we ate lunch at Sonic! We dropped off our stuff and then went to Brandon to visit Andrew (whom I've decided I'm going to marry) and Abby. We played with their new toys and we brought our new scooters so we could go riding with them! Mommy was impressed because we did pretty good. Abby started not feeling well so we decided not to stay for supper and we met Daddy at Pizza Ranch instead because Mommy was afraid I would fall asleep if we went back to Sioux Falls. We stayed until 7 and sure enough I was asleep right away so Mommy just tucked me into bed.
12/27/2006	Daddy had to go back to work today so we stayed home and played while Mommy put away some Christmas gifts. Then we met Daddy and Grandpa Robinson's neighbor, Bill, for supper! He took us out to eat at Texas Roadhouse Grill. I of course only ate fries but Callie had steak. Then Daddy and I came home while Mommy and Callie went shopping - Mommy about fell over she was so surprised when Callie volunteered to come with (she hates shopping) so they had a good time together.
12/26/2006	Uncle Tom and Amber came this morning to pick up Callie so she could exchange her present so Daddy and I went to Sams and Mommy went to the mall. We all met up at lunchtime and ate together! Then it was time for a nap - Callie fell asleep right away but I just wouldn't so Mommy took me out for more shopping. I went to bed early and Callie stayed up and watched a movie with Daddy.
12/25/2006	Merry Christmas!! Callie woke up at 6 this morning and wanted to go see if he came but Mommy made her wait until I woke up - which ended up being only a few minutes since I was sleeping with Mommy and I heard her and Callie talking. We ran downstairs and HE CAME! I was very surprised since I didn't hear him. He brought us scooters and lots of things in our stockings! We played all morning while Mommy and Daddy tried to go back to bed and then Daddy made us waffle sticks for brunch. We didn't want to nap but finally Mommy got me to lay down and when I woke up I was even crabbier than before so I guess it didn't work. Mommy made a nice early Christmas supper and then we watched our new movie, Cars, until Uncle Tom and Amber came over and we had Christmas with them! Then it was time for bed. Merry Christmas everyone!
12/24/2006	We ate our last piece of chocolate from our advent calendar today! Callie and I took baths and put on our Christmas dresses and then we all went to eat lunch at Red Lobster. Mommy and Daddy let Callie eat crab legs so she was very excited and I ate applesauce and biscuits like usual. We came home and Mommy tried to get us to rest but of course I wanted no part of that so we read and played until it was time for church. Callie saw Lauren there so we waved and I even held my own candle during Silent Night! I fell asleep on the way home so Mommy and Daddy let Callie open a present (Pictionary Jr) so they had something to do while they waited for me to wake up. Then we opened our gifts! We were both very excited to play our Webkinz games and stayed up until 10 doing so then Mommy said we had to get to bed. I decided I didn't want Santa to come in our house and I asked to sleep with Mommy, with the door locked and I had to hold her hand (very tightly) and finally I fell asleep.
12/23/2006	We woke up to hot cocoa and caramel rolls at Grandma Ivey's house - yummy! We played for awhile and then Grandpa went hunting so Grandma came with us to Burger King for lunch. Then we delivered Christmas gifts to Great Grandma Ivey & Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin before packing up and going home. We ate supper and watched Polar Express once we got unpacked - Callie had watched it in school Wednesday and she wanted us to see it too!
12/22/2006	We went to Aberdeen today. Mommy was pretty sad that Bridget wasn't going to be able to make it (she is snowed in at Denver!) so I kept asking her if she was going to cry. We stopped at Uncle Chuck's farm on the way to town and after I woke up I saw the cows and then we headed to Daddy's grandpa's gravesite - Callie and I had never seen it before and he wanted to show us. Then we dropped our stuff off at Grandma Ivey's and had Christmas with Grandma and Grandpa Robinson! We had fun playing our new games, Twister and Trouble and we danced around in new leotards. Grandpa took us outside to do sparklers and then we were getting cranky it was time for bed.
12/21/2006	Today was my program! Mommy went to pick up Callie from school so she could watch and she let Daddy take me since I was nervous and I do better with him. I was pretty scared when we walked to the front of the chapel but I did a great job singing (although I didn't smile too much) however I refused to say my part and I stomped to the nativity scene to place the angel on and then I crossed my arms and looked like I was going to cry again. We had cookies afterwards and then Daddy took Callie back to school and ate lunch with her! Mommy and I played until it was time for Callie's party. Mommy had a bead craft for them to do and then they ate a snack and played two games before exchanging presents. We all ate supper out early and then Daddy gave us each a movie for an early Christmas present and Mommy gave us a little bag to keep in our suitcases for our toothbrushes and shampoo - it even had our names on it!
12/20/2006	Mommy and I played today and I helped her wrap a few more presents. I didn't want to nap again so she just waited until it was time to get Callie so I fell asleep in the car. We ate supper as soon as Daddy got home and then we opened some presents that came in the mail from Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jon! I had lots of fun playing Dr. with my play doh doggy dr set and Callie practiced her ballet on the 12 Dancing Princesses Dance Mat that we got! At bedtime I told Mommy that I didn't want to go to preschool anymore tomorrow because I didn't want to be in the program - I am just going to stay home and play instead.
12/19/2006	Today was my Christmas party at school and Mommy was the helper! First we decorated & ate Christmas cookies then we made Mommy's craft - stockings! We glued cotton balls on the tops, decorated with star stickers and glitter! Finally we had our gift exchange and I got Zoe's gift - all different colors clay! Our teachers gave us a book and then it was time to come home. I napped on the way to pick up Callie so she and Mommy and some alone time to play games and wrap gifts. She told Mommy all about her ice cream party she had today because their class donated the MOST change for their new playground! Callie's ballet was cancelled so Daddy gave us baths and played with us while Mommy went shopping.
12/18/2006	Mommy and I had lots of shopping to do today but we did come home so I could take a nap and I did! Callie told us that lots of people liked her cat sweatshirt she wore (Grandma made us them for Christmas!) and she said she got tired of saying "thank you!" so many times! We wrapped my gifts for my teachers today and I didn't understand why they couldn't "just share one since they live together" but then Mommy told me they only work together but they have their own houses! I sure was surprised about that! After supper, we got in our pjs and Mommy brought cookies in the car and we drove around and looked at Christmas lights before bed.
12/17/2006	We met Grandma and Grandpa Ivey for breakfast before they had to leave and then after lunch Mommy and Daddy took us to the pavillion! There were new exhibits - even a piano we could walk on to play the music! It was lots of fun and after the science center we walked through the art studio and found Gillian's picture that was on display! We ate supper and headed home for an early bedtime.
12/16/2006	I woke up at 8 this morning and Callie was up a little before 9 and then we found out Grandma and Grandpa Ivey were in town! They came and picked us up for breakfast so Mommy and Daddy could clean up from the party. We came home for a nap later and then we all met Uncle Tom for suppern and came back here to open our Christmas gifts! Callie and I were so excited to get a princess barbie from the 12 Dancing Princesses and pink cat sweatshirts that Grandma made!
12/15/2006	Callie was very excited because today was her 1/2 birthday at school so she could take treats (because her real birthday is in the summer) Mommy and I met her for lunch and she was even wearing a birthday crown. But she had a sub again and she didn't know where Mrs. Davids keeps the birthday gifts so she will have to wait until Monday for that. I helped Mommy get ready for our party all day - I didn't even want to nap so we had to leave to pick up Callie 'early' because then I fell asleep in the car and took my nap there while Mommy read. We had a quick supper and then all our friends came. Mommy had all the toys set up in the basement so we stayed down there (there was 11 of us!) and had lots of fun. At 11, Adam and I were tired so we went to bed (he slept in Callie's room) but Callie and Gillian stayed up til 1:15 and then they finally fell asleep in Mommy and Daddy's room after watching a movie.
12/14/2006	I had show-n-tell today so I took my stuffed lamb. We practiced our program in the chapel today and I told Mommy the teacher had us pretend our parents were in the pews - I thought that was silly. Callie told us her day was very tiring because her substitute was from Egypt and it was so hard to understand her! She is doing double digit adding and subtracting in math already - Mommy was very surprised! We made oreo balls and cupcakes today - Callie's 1/2 birthday is being celebrated at school tomorrow so she gets to take snack. We met Daddy for supper at pizza hut so Callie could use her book-it certificate and I didn't nap today so I fell asleep on the way home in the middle of a sentence! Mommy tucked me in and I only opened my eyes long enough to tell her I wanted to sleep in my dress. Callie went to sleep early too so she could be rested for our party tomorrow night!
12/13/2006	Mommy and I made lots of goodies today. We made candy molds and gingersnaps right away and then we want to a Santa storytime at the library. We came home for lunch and I finally took a nap! Then after we got Callie, Mommy made fudge while we played outside because it was SO nice out. After supper we helped her make kiss cookies and then it was time for bed.
12/12/2006	I had school today and we talked about the letter L! Mommy had a dentist appt while I was there so she didn't have much fun. Daddy picked me up because I was upset this morning that he always takes Callie to school and not me - he said he coudldn't take me but he could pick me up! Callie took Gillian to ballet class with her and they had fun together. Then Mommy dropped us off at home with Daddy and she had to go to a Christmas party. I didn't nap again today so I was really wiped out.
12/11/2006	Callie and I both slept until 7 so Mommy is hoping we are finally caught up on our sleep! I wouldn't nap again today but I was pretty good during Brownies anyway. It was their Christmas party so they made presents for their parents and wrapped them, played a Christmas game, and they even got presents! Uncle Tom came over for supper tonight because he had BIG news - we get a cousin in June!
12/10/2006	Grandma and Grandpa left this morning and then we mostly played at home today. Mommy tried to get us both to nap but of course we resisted that idea so we ate supper at 4:30, took our baths and I had to go to bed at 6:30 (and I was asleep in just a few seconds!) and then Callie went to bed at 7.
12/9/2006	Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came over this morning! We played with them, had lunch, played some more - I didn't even want my nap so I went with Daddy and Grandpa to Sam's Club. We ate at Red Lobster for an early supper and I of course fell asleep on the way there but only for about 10 minutes (but it was enough to mess up my bedtime much to Mommy's annoyance!).
12/8/2006	Callie made foil boats in school and had to see whose boat could float AND hold the most paperclips in it. Callie's held over 100 but Ian's held over 200 so he won. Mommy and I worked at home today and started wrapping presents! After Callie came home we made cookies too. We drove through the Light Display after supper and then it was time for bed.
12/7/2006	I took my stuffed kitten to school today and we worked on our Christmas trees we are making! Mommy helped at Callie's school and decided maybe she couldn't hack being a teacher after one of the boys she was helping puked all over just a few minutes after she had walked away from helping him! Mommy did enjoy helping all the kids with their math equations though while Mrs. Davids was cleaning up. After supper we dropped off all the presents and Christmas food we had bought for our family we sponsered this year and then it was time for Disney on Ice!! We were so excited but then I started getting scared when some of the scary characters and music were on - I even asked Mommy if we could go home! And Callie was so serious about explaining how all the things weren't real - the people were in costumes and the hot air balloon was just on ropes (which made Mommy very sad) but over all we still had a great night! ALL the princesses were there - my favorite Pocahantas John Smith were too!
12/6/2006	Mommy and I went to a Christmas Puppet Show at the library and Adam and Dena were there too! I skipped my nap today so Callie and didn't get along too well when she came home from school. Mommy fed us an early supper and I was in bed by 7 and Callie by 7:30 so we can be well rested for our big night tomorrow!
12/5/2006	I had preschool today and we learned about the letter K! We also heard the story of Jesus in chapel and so I told Mommy all about how the motel was ALL FULL! We practiced for our Christmas program too. Mommy had an appointment with one of her customers today so she dropped us off at Daddy's work and we had a snack there while he was packing up and then he took us to Callie's ballet class. She gets to invite a friend next week - she hopes Gillian can come. Mommy met us for supper and then on the way home we drove by some Christmas lights and I told her they "looked adorable!"
12/4/2006	Mommy and I went shopping today and then we went to Sonic for lunch - I even got to crawl in the front seat to eat my food! Daddy and I went to the grocery store after supper and I told him the lady in the car next to us had a big nose and looked like a mean witch - he thought that was pretty funny!
12/3/2006	We were very busy today - we finished our crafts and then Callie and I did a gingerbread house together, but I didn't forget about my chocolate under door number three! After lunch we were playing together very well so Mommy and Daddy worked on cleaning the basement together and I skipped my nap. We ate supper early and then Callie did her homework and we both went to bed at 7 so we can start the week out rested.
12/2/2006	We woke up right at 7 because we were excited for Breakfast with Santa! I remembered to eat my chocolate for Day 2 though first. We headed to the zoo and ate breakfast and then Callie talked to Santa - I was too scared - and she told him to surprise her this year because she just didn't know what she wanted. We watched a puppet show, walked to a different building (and BRRRR it was super cold!) to make a craft, and then rode the carousel. We spent the afternoon playing and working on crafts and then Mommy had to leave for a toy party out of town so Daddy took us out for supper!
12/1/2006	Mommy and I went shopping today and found advent calendars with chocolate in them! I was so excited when Mommy explained how they worked and I couldn't wait to tell Callie after school. Mommy read to all the first and second grade classes today during lunch (one class at a time so she was sick of her book by the end!) so Daddy took me out to eat. We decorated the Christmas tree after supper but I think Mommy was disappointed it wasn't one of those family memorable evenings because I cried and Callie and I fought a lot. Oh well I still had fun!
11/30/2006	I think I forgot to tell you that Callie's two bottom teeth are a little bit loose -she is super excited and hopes she will lose them by Christmas! I went to school today and we talked about J - I took baby Jack Jack for show-n-tell. We counted jellybeans and then ate them - yummy! We also painted a Christmas tree. Callie and I are not getting along too well after school and I think Mommy is getting tired of it. She called Daddy to tell him she wished she could go play darts instead - he didn't let her do that but he did surprise her by bringing home a bottle of wine after work. Callie and I both were asleep a little after 8 so she could enjoy her tv night!
11/29/2006	Mommy and I went shopping this morning and then we met Daddy for lunch! I fell asleep on the way back home so took a nice nap again. Callie and I were still tired and very cranky with each other after school so Mommy got some crafts out for us which kept us busy and quiet until Daddy got home. We had a quick supper and went to bed early!
11/28/2006	I woke up a lot last night saying my legs hurt but thought I wanted to go to school this morning. We said our good-byes to Uncle Jon and Aunt Michelle and they left to the airport - but when we got to school I started sobbing that my tummy hurt. Mommy figured I was mostly just tired so we went home and had a tv morning and just rested. After lunch I took a three hour nap! Callie had ballet and the teacher said she could stay for the next level class to so she was there for both sessions! I think next week she is going to just do the next level now.
11/27/2006	Callie went back to school today and it was super icy out so Daddy took her to school and Mommy and I stayed home. Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jon came back from Aberdeen and met Callie at school for lunch! She was student of the day today so she was very happy and even had them help her carry the lunch bag basket back to the classroom and then they went outside on the playground with her too. Daddy came right after lunch to drive to the Pettigrew Museum for her fieldtrip. They are studying rocks so they went there to examine a rock collection. I stayed home with Michelle & Jon while Mommy went to the Brownies meeting - we played play-doh. Callie painted and made a windsock in Brownies today. We all met up with Uncle Tom and his friend, Amber, for supper and then it was time for bed (actually well past since we were both really tired).
11/26/2006	Mommy started decorating for Christmas right away this morning so Callie and I helped but then we decided to play because it just takes too long! Daddy took us grocery shopping and made lunch too and then after my nap we went to the Happy Feet movie! It was sure cute. It was raining when we got out and the roads were slippery so we had to drive carefully home to take our baths and go to bed.
11/25/2006	Today we had to start packing up to go home. Mommy went to visit her friend, Anna, and we went with Daddy to say goodbye to our great-grandparents. We met back for lunch and then we went out to play for a little more at Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house. I started getting pretty sad when I remembered that Callie rode on the four wheeler with Daddy at Grandpa Ivey's house and I never got a turn but Daddy said we would have to wait until next time. We slept on the way back until Brookings where we stopped for supper and then we watched a movie the rest of the way home. We helped Mommy unpack so she was very happy because we got everything in its place before bed and even took the thanksgiving stuff done so we can start decorating tomorrow!
11/24/2006	Callie and I have been sleeping in until 8 and even 9 so Mommy is quite impressed! We went to over to Aaron and Alison's new house today and played with their dogs - Cedar likes to lick too much so I wasn't sure I wanted her to be close to me but Willow was very calm so I petted her. Afterwards we went out to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house to play. Mommy and Grandma went shopping and Daddy napped so we played with Grandpa. We had supper together and helped Grandma decorate our little Christmas tree we put up with her every year - it has fun Disney character ornaments!
11/23/2006	Happy Birthday Grandpa Ivey!! Happy Thanksgiving!! We watched some of the parade this morning and then we set the tables with the teepees that Callie and I made. Great Grandma Ivey & Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin came over and so did Ashlynne and Wyatt with Kim, Bob, and Jaci so we had lots of people to eat our with. I took a short nap (I fell asleep while Grandma was brushing my hair!) and then we went to Grandma & Grandpa Robinson's house to see Mommy's cousin Jim and Uncle Chuck for awhile. Grandpa did some fireworks and Callie even went outside to help him but I just watched with Mommy out the window. It was sure a busy day and Callie and I were wiped out by bedtime.
11/22/2006	This morning we all started packing to go to Aberdeen and left at lunchtime. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house first to play and then we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Ivey's house to unpack our things. We met Daddy's friend Jaime, and Heidi & Haile at the mall for supper and playtime! I wasn't feeling very well but Callie and Haile had a great time.
11/21/2006	Today was my preschool thanksgiving party and Mommy helped! We ate turkey cupcakes, played a fun game, and made a turkey craft. I napped after lunch and then we went to pick up Callie from school - she is done for the week! Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jon came to our house just as we got home and after talking for awhile they came with to Callie's ballet class (Uncle Tom too!) and then Daddy met us there. We all went out to eat afterwards and then it was time for me and Callie to go to bed.
11/20/2006	I was sad that Callie went back to school today but she told me not to worry because she only has two days this week!! Mommy and I played and then while I was napping her friend Stacy (and her mom) came over. I woke up but was still tired and shy so I wouldn't really talk to them so I just sat on Mommy's lap instead. After supper Daddy watched a movie with us while Mommy went to get her hair cut.
11/19/2006	Callie had her ballet performance today! She was very nervous all morning and when we got there she got even worse. Daddy and I found a place to sit while Mommy stayed with Callie. All the other moms left but Callie wouldn't let Mommy go - she even started crying she was so scared! Mommy gave up trying to leave and kept trying to calm her down - finally she took her out to see the stage and other dancers and that helped a lot! She had to watch from backstage though - Callie didn't want her to go in front. Andrew and Abby found us there and they all watched too! She did a very good job and then she came and walked around to look at the trees and gingerbread houses. Daddy grilled steak since it was so nice out and Callie and I went to bed early since I didn't nap and she was emotionally exhausted (said Mommy anyway!).
11/18/2006	Mommy went Christmas shopping this morning so Daddy took us to the butterfly house. It ended up not being so fun - I hated it! I was very scared of the butterflies and told Daddy I never wanted to go there again. We met Mommy for lunch and then went home to play. It was super nice outside so we swang while Mommy put up Christmas lights. Then we kept asking if we could get some Christmas things out, including our stockings! Mommy let us and then at bedtime I asked Mommy if Santa would come tonight since I put my stocking up. I was quite disappointed to find out it doesn't work that way.
11/17/2006	Callie took our Pochahantas movie to school today and they watched part of it (and even had popcorn) because they are learning about her! She started reading her second Junie B Jones book for class now too. And yesterday she was able to take her stuffed animal to school to read to it and since Mommy helped she saw all the kids' animals and thought it was pretty cute. Callie and I had our hair cut after school and then we went to Brandon to play with Andrew, Abby, Matt, and Megan. Their daddy is in Africa and our daddy had a party so we ate supper out there and played until bedtime - it was fun!
11/16/2006	I took ice cream from my play kitchen for show-n-tell today and I took a snack because I was Star of the Week! I took baby pictures in to share and when Mommy asked me if I had any special jobs, I told her if Mrs. LuAnn and Mrs. Blythe are sick then I would be the teacher! Mommy and I ate a quick lunch and then we went to the library for storytime - it was the Turkey Trot today. We heard turkey stories, watched a thanksgiving movie, had a turkey trot parade and then got a turkey stamp! I skipped my nap so we stopped at the gas station for m&ms to help me stay awake while we waited for Callie and that seemed to do the trick! Callie and I played when we got home, had an early supper and bath and I was asleep before 7. Daddy had darts so Mommy and Callie had some alone time before bed.
11/15/2006	Mommy worked at the toy booth again so I played at Abby's house. I was so excited that I had my backpack packed by 7:30 and we didn't have to leave until 9! I went to her school to pick her up with her Mommy, Megan, and Matt, and then we came back to eat lunch and we played dress up, dancing, and all sorts of fun things! Kim was very amused by how inquisitive I was. Mommy picked me up (and I started crying because I wasn't ready to leave) and we had to hurry to get Callie on time. After supper we started watching Mary Poppins because Callie watched part of it in music class today and so I wanted to see it too.
11/14/2006	We learned about the letter I today and I painted insects! Mommy had to work at a toy booth while I was at school so she was hurrying around all morning and dropped me off a little bit early. Callie got her ballet outfit for the program - she looks like a princess in it! It is light blue and twirls really good.
11/13/2006	I was super excited when we woke up because I remembered it was Brownies today! Callie was excited too but I was super anxious and even got angry when we dropped off Callie at school and Mommy told me we had to come back LATER for Brownies - I wanted it to be right then! We made cookies and then I took my nap after lunch so I would be well rested. We picked up the girls at school and we all went to Primrose Retirement Center for BINGO! We took the residents cookies (and shared them of course). The girls helped serve, the moms poured coffee and water, and then we played. A few girls took turns calling the numbers out and the other girls helped the residents play or just sat by them anyway. Callie helped one lady who couldn't see very well so she was sure to point out the number if she had it. And Lauren helped repeat the number to the lady she sat by because she didn't hear very well. I just stayed close to Mommy but it was still fun and I told Daddy all about it!
11/12/2006	We went bowling today! Callie bowled without the ramp this time and was doing really good although she got mad because I got a strike and she didn't! We ate an early supper and took baths so we had time to play a few games before bed. I really like Hi Ho Cherry O now so I always pick that one.
11/11/2006	Mommy and Callie went shopping today for new clothes for both of them and they went out to lunch so Daddy and I did too. We went to Sam's and McDonalds. After my nap, Callie and I played and played and then we watched a movie after supper. Mommy went to shop by herself again so Daddy put us to bed.
11/10/2006	It snowed last night so we played in the snow all morning and then we helped Mommy get groceries at the new grocery store next to our house. Callie and Mommy played games while I napped and then we did lots of crafts - Mommy was struggling to think of new ideas but she found a great Thanksgiving craft to keep us busy. We made teepees for everyone's place setting at Thanksgiving!
11/9/2006	Callie didn't have school today but I did so I was excited to have her drop me off. Mommy was afraid I might be mad about going but we went to the hospital today so I was happy. I saw a baby crying in the nursery there, we saw a surgery room, and we saw xrays of a boy who swallowed a fishing hook by accident! Mommy and Callie went to the coffee shop for a muffin and then came home to work on scrapbooks (Callie's choice - she has one of her very own she is doing!) Callie had Lauren over this afternoon to play and I wanted to be in on the fun so I refused to nap. I was pretty cranky by supper but then Mommy set up our tent and we started playing camp-out and then we were both asleep by 7, in the tent of course!
11/8/2006	I had zoocamp this morning and Adam and Olivia were there! It was called D is for duck so we made cute ducks, fed the real ducks, had a snack and we could pet a lizard. It was a lot of fun and then we had to hurry back to let the carpet cleaners in our house. Mommy and I played playdo in the kitchen to keep out of their way and then we went outside to play while it dried. I fell asleep on the way to pick up Callie so I napped in the truck while Mommy and Callie drew with sidewalk chalk. When we were getting ready for bed I was very upset and told Mommy I didn't want my hair to be blond anymore - I want it to be brown like Callie's! And I hate my bangs and I want them cut off! (Mommy is thinking she better keep scissors away from me for awhile). Mommy also finds it amusing I have to sleep with my closet doors OPEN every night so I can make sure there are no mean witches in there.
11/7/2006	I was very excited this morning because Uncle Tom was coming to pick me up from preschool since Mommy had a dentist appointment and Daddy had a meeting he couldn't miss. I showed him where my things were and then he took me to McDonalds for lunch! We had a great time until Mommy (bad bad Mommy) called to check on us and then I started crying about missing her so Uncle Tom had to bring me home and it was naptime for me. After we picked up Callie from school we rode our bikes to the park to play until it was time for Callie's ballet class. She only has one more class until her performance! After baths Callie had to read Mommy a chapter out of her Junie B Jones book and I went with Daddy to Best Buy in my pajamas!
11/6/2006	Mommy and I went to storytime and Adam and Dena were there too. I took a good nap today and then we picked up Callie from school. She is reading a Junie B Jones book for her reading class now so she had to read a chapter to Mommy and then we played outside! At five we took our halloween money to Callie's bookfair and we each picked out books. I found one I wanted right away but Callie was very picky and had to make sure she could get the most for her money - she ended up getting three for the same price as my one book! Mommy was quite impressed. Daddy met us there and then it was time for Callie's conferences. She did great and we saw lots of her projects and then we all went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate!
11/5/2006	Callie and I had so much fun playing together today and we hardly fought all day. Mommy and Daddy didn't even see us that much we were so busy - so Mommy decided I could just skip my nap and keep on playing. We ate supper early so we could take our baths and finish our new movie (12 Dancing Princesses) and then I was in bed by 7 and Callie by 7:30 so we could be ready for a new week!
11/4/2006	Mommy had to work her booth this morning so we went shopping with Daddy and helped him throw LOTS of old computer stuff away since today it was free to do so. After lunch Mommy came home and Daddy took Callie to a birthday party at the bowling alley! Then I went frisbee golfing with Daddy and his friends for awhile and Mommy picked me up after she got Callie - we watched a few hot air balloons take off from the park and then we came home to grill supper.
11/3/2006	Callie had a dance performance at school today so I took an early nap so I could go with Mommy to watch! They have had an artist in residence program where a lady has been teaching them a neat dance in music class and it was really fun to see them perform (although Callie was very nervous she told Mommy last night). We had to do some shopping after school and then Mommy dropped us off at Dena's house so she could go work her booth. Daddy picked us up and took us to the mall to eat with Uncle Tom and the Hilschers met us there too. By the time we got home it was time for bed!
11/2/2006	We had review week so I could take anything from A to G - I chose Garfield! Mommy helped Mrs. Davids make some signs for the classroom and then she helped the students fill out their own report cards (showing which subject they like best and least and things like that). We met Daddy for lunch and then I had to take a nap. After school Mommy took us to the church where she has a booth this weekend and we colored very nicely while she sat up her table. Then we met Don, Dawn, and Reghan for supper! She was awake and even more cute this time.
11/1/2006	Callie and I had dentist appointments right away this morning. I was nervous at first but Callie walked with me back to the rooms and we sat right next to each other in the chairs so then I was ok. We watched Nemo and I picked out a balloon when I was done. Neither of us had cavities!! We had to take Callie to school afterwards and then went home to get Skittles for her appointment. She gained two pounds since last year so now ALL of our cats need more exercise Mommy says. I forgot to tell you that last week the desk fairy visited Callie and left candy because she had such a clean desk so she was quite excited AND she also got moved up to a new reading group too!
10/31/2006	Happy Halloween! Callie had her Halloween parade and party today. Daddy met us at school to watch the parade and then he took me home to nap while Mommy helped with the party. They decorated ghost cupcakes, played bingo, and had an eyeball on a spoon relay race! Uncle Tom came over for supper and then we put on lots of layers of clothes under our dresses to go trick-or-treating! I got tired out from the walking (and cold!) so Daddy, Uncle Tom, and I went home and handed out candy while Mommy and Callie went down a few more streets. It was a fun night!
10/30/2006	Mommy and I went to storytime at a new library today and Adam was there too. I was quite tired on the way home so I napped before lunch today - but that ended up not working well because I woke up after only a hour (hungry!). Mommy and I went to school early so we could set up for Brownies. We had a birthday party for Juliette Low, the lady who started Girl Scouts. Then we played charades and dressed up for the "lets pretend" patch! I got really crabby when it was time to go home so Mommy was quite annoyed with me - she had TONS of things to carry to the car and I didn't want to walk so I just cried and cried and threw quite the fit - early bedtime for me tonight.
10/29/2006	I woke up early of course so Grandma got my cereal out and Callie slept through all the noise I made! She finally woke up and joined us and a little later Mommy and Daddy came down too. We played games with Grandma and then they had to go back to Aberdeen so Mommy and I could nap. Callie and Daddy carved jack-0-lanterns and then when I woke up we all played outside.
10/28/2006	Happy Birthday Mommy! We gave her our present right away - coffee cups that we painted - so she could have her morning coffee in them. After awhile we gave her another present - a new cd player because her old one broke. I took a nap and when I woke up, Grandma and Grandpa Robinson were here! We played and went to Bracco for supper and then Mommy and Daddy got their costumes on and went to a Halloween Party. Grandma painted our fingernails, helped us finish frosting our cut-out cookies, and read us books before bed. Mommy and Daddy didn't get home til 3am!
10/27/2006	Mommy and I played outside since it was SO nice - we hung little skeletons and spiders on our tree and we drew with sidewalk chalk to decorate for halloween. Daddy came home a little early so we could go to ZooBoo tonight! Callie was Glinda the good witch and I was Dorothy. We got lots of candy and we saw Adam and Gillian there so then we went out for supper with them and came home for bed.
10/26/2006	I took Grover for show-n-tell today! Mommy helped at Callie's school again - she showed the kids how to play a spider math game. My pillowcase wasn't dry when it was time for my nap and I was very very angry - Mommy offered me many others but I only wanted Tinkerbell so I refused to use a pillow at all - I just slept on my blankie instead. Daddy went to darts so Mommy put us to bed - Callie did a great job but of course I wanted her to sleep with me so it was a battle. She compromised and told me she would be reading in her bedroom. I had to call out a few times to make sure she was really there and then I finally fell asleep.
10/25/2006	Mommy and I delivered pumpkin muffins for Callie's class because it was her turn to bring snack today and then we went to storytime! Adam was there too. Callie was student of the day today so she was very happy about that. I asked Mommy if mean witches' butts were green too. She had no idea what I was talking about at first so I had to explain if wiches faces were green I wondered if that meant their butts were green too. She laughed and laughed and I really didn't see what was so funny about it - I just wanted to know the answer.
10/24/2006	I started crying when we got to school today because I didn't want Mommy to leave. She stayed and played for awhile but I still didn't change my mind so Mrs. LuAnn had to hold me so she could go. I cried for awhile after she left and told them I did NOT want to go to chapel and crossed my arms and stomped my feet when I told them but I finally went. We made gingerbread cookies and talked about gorillas! Callie had ballet and then we went out for an early birthday supper for Mommy because she had a free dinner coupon for today at the Brazilian Restuarant! They told us it was very fancy and we had to have super good manners and we did great. I of course didn't eat anything but I was quiet and sat nicely and played. Callie tried LOTS of meats - she had swordfish, lamb, pork ribs, steak, chicken, and prime rib!
10/23/2006	Mommy and I babysat Adam this morning and I played Barbies with him! Callie had a sub today and she told Mommy that she was a very kind teacher. Callie and I played and did crafts afterschool and then it was time for her school roller skating party! I took her old rollerskates and did not even want Mommy or Daddy to hold my hand. I did a great job! Callie was nervous again at first and it took her awhile to remember how to do it but by the end of the evening she was going fast (but she still wanted to hold Mommy's hand). Lots of her friends were there and we saw some of her Brownie friends too! We were both very tired when we got home and it made bedtime a LONG struggle so Mommy is afraid we aren't going to be very fun tomorrow.
10/22/2006	Daddy had to mow today so Callie and I played outside and Mommy cleaned the garage. Then when we were all done we went to the corn maze! It was cold but a lot of fun - there were 10 checkpoints we had to find and a bonus one that wasn't on the map! Callie found that one so then we got a free treat. We ate an early supper and took baths so Callie could get to bed early - she was super tired. Mommy tried to put me to bed tonight but it wasn't working too well so Daddy had to take over.
10/21/2006	Callie had a playdate this afternooon at Lauren's house so she was very excited! I played with Mommy and then when Callie came home we all went to eat at Sonic! Callie and I crawled in the back of the truck to eat - it was super fun!
10/20/2006	Mommy and I went shopping and to Grandpa's bank today. She told me she had to put some money in so I asked if her she ran out of money, if Grandpa would just put some more in for her. She thought that was funny (and a great idea too - so how about that Grandpa?) It was really nice today so Callie and I played outside for awhile. After supper Mommy had a toy party so Daddy took us to Kid's Night and we played games and jumped in the inflatables. I had a witch's hat and broom painted on my face and Callie had a ghost and we both had halloween tattoos put on our arms too. It was a fun night!
10/19/2006	I took Callie's frog for show-n-tell today. Mommy helped at Callie's class while they were working on popcorn poems and then they made bead bracelets to work on their patterning so she helped them with that too. Daddy went to the dr today because he is still sick and then he came and picked me up from school so I was very excited! He napped this afternoon (and I did too) and then Callie and I colored him get well pictures when she came home from school. He missed darts so he put us to bed (Mommy still can't do that because I get much more clingier and won't let her leave) and we did a good job!
10/17/2006	We talked about the letter F today at school. Callie's class has been having fun with popcorn every day because it is National Popcorn Month. Callie had ballet and Daddy even came to watch the last few minutes of her class and then we all went out for supper. We did a little bit better today with bedtime.
10/16/2006	Mrs. Davids called Daddy at work today and told him he didn't have to come for computer class because they were broken! After my nap it was time for Callie's Brownies meeting. We talked about fire safety, had our faces painted, made ring gliders, and danced to slow and fast music! It was lots of fun. I was very upset at bedtime again that no one was going to sleep with me and Callie was even MORE upset because Mommy and Daddy said she has to start going to bed in her bed now too. It was a LONG evening but finally by 9:30 I was asleep and I slept all night long!
10/15/2006	We slept in again and swam one last time after breakfast. Mommy and Daddy packed up the truck while we played in Grandma and Grandpa's room and then we headed to Great Grandma's nursing home. We saw her room and colored some halloween pictures to decorate for her and then said our good-byes and headed home. Callie and I slept most of the way home and then we were going to eat supper at our new Sonic Drive In/Car Hop but there were LOTS of cars in line just to eat in their car anyway, which Mommy thought was pretty funny so we skipped it. Mommy and Daddy said I'm three and a half now so I have to sleep in my bed by myself. I was quite a stinker about it but they stuck to their guns and kept putting me back in so I guess I have to learn to like it.
10/14/2006	We slept in until 8:30 so Mommy was very happy! We all ate breakfast together and then went swimming again before getting ready for the day. Then it was time for Great Grandma Sunderman's 85th Birthday Party!! We had it at Mommy's Aunt Charlene's house and Morgan and Charlie were there so we had lots of fun playing. Morgan is four and she had lots of barbies there to play with but I wasn't too fond of their baby, Charlie, because he kept stealing my food when we were eating! We sang Happy Birthday and had cake and then went back to the room to nap. We came back for supper and the grown ups watched football so we played more. It was a late night!
10/13/2006	Callie was so excited she woke up at 6am and I was up at 6:30 so it was a long morning! The zoo opened at 9:30 and we were there right on time. We showed Bridget all the animals - we especially had fun watching the baby orangatan. I fell asleep after we ate lunch (in my stroller) so I missed the last half of the zoo. Callie fell asleep in the truck on the way to Norfolk. We met up with Grandma and Grandpa Robinson at our motel and all went out for supper and then came back to swim!! Daddy put us to bed so Mommy could visit with Aunt Bridget and some of her cousins - she didn't get to bed until very late!
10/12/2006	I took an elephant for show-n-tell today and we did exercises in the gym. We visited Grandma Robinson while Grandpa was in meetings and then we packed the car all up so we could go to Omaha as soon as we picked up Callie from school! We had to pick up Aunt Bridget from the airport and then we went out for supper and to our motel. I had a lot of fun playing with her and then it was time for bed so we would be ready for our big day tomorrow!
10/11/2006	Today I had ZooCamp! It was called C is for Cheetahs so we made a cheetah puppet and walked to the cheeteh cage and even saw one jump up in a tree. It was super cold out today and it even started snowing but I had fun and Adam was there too. On the way we passed a cemetary and I told Mommy, "Look there is Heaven!" - she thought that was funny. We picked up Callie from school and then Grandma and Grandpa Robinson were waiting for us. They brought pumpkins and we showed them our newest school work and then they had to go eat supper with bank people.
10/10/2006	I told Mrs. LuAnn that I wanted someone to be Maggie from my mom's doctor show so I could do surgery on them today. She asked me if I wanted to be a dr when I grow up and I said "NO I want to be a REAL mermaid!" Mommy thought that was funny so then she told her that last week I told her Callie went to "Robert THE Frost" school and my friend told her she was going to go there for college! We are pretty funny I guess. Callie's class had all greens on Friday so their reward was having Loca (Mrs. David's cat) spend the day in the class with them. I got to pet her when we picked Callie up - she looks like Skittles. Callie's class walked to the fire station today for a field trip - she said it was fun but a very long walk! Callie had ballet and then after supper Mommy had a meeting so Daddy put us to bed tonight.
10/9/2006	Callie had today off school so we went over to Gillian and Adam's house to play this morning! We met Daddy at the fix-it shop at lunchtime so she could give us a ride home and then he had to go back to work.
10/8/2006	Daddy took us to the painting store but shhhh we aren't telling Mommy what we did there! We got home and started playing when the doorbell rang. Mommy was so surprised - it was Grandpa and Grandma Robinson's neighbor, Bill! He was working in town and thought he would come over and visit. Callie was so tired from her medicine and cold that she fell asleep while he was over but I was busy playing the computer so he saw what a pro I am!
10/6/2006	Callie went back to school today and Adam and Dena came over to play this morning. After my nap we picked up Callie and she told us she had a very bad day. Her friend Lauren was mad at her and wouldn't play with her. We went home and played and then we met Jason, Alyssa, and Abby for supper. We were testing Abby on her colors and she knows them all.
10/5/2006	Callie woke up in the middle of the night with a really bad cough and sore throat and she could hardly breathe! Mommy was scared so she woke up Daddy and he said if Callie could calm down it would help otherwise they would need to go to the hospital. Mommy put Dora on tv and finally Callie stopped crying and the breathing got a little better but they spent the whole night sleeping on the couch so Callie could be propped up. She didn't go to school but I did! I took my dog, Jack and Mrs. LuAnn had us put on a dog show since so many of us brought dogs for Show N Tell. I had mine walk on his tiptoes and she gave them all stickers for awards! I was excited because Daddy picked me up and then I watched a movie with Callie after my nap.
10/4/2006	We went to the zoo after school today so we could see the new baby giraffe! He was really cute. And we watched his Daddy run in circles - that was funny. After supper we all went to check out the new grocery store and Daddy bought us fun cookies!
10/3/2006	I had my pictures taken today at school! We learned about the letter D and we have been practicing tracing our names too. I wore my cowgirl boots so Mrs LuAnn looked through all her cds to find Achey Breaky Heart and we all danced to it at the end of class - Mommy even watched me through the window and thought I looked pretty cute kicking up my heels! She decorated the bulletin board at Callie's school and when we went to pick her up I had to add one baby spider for her! She had ballet tonight and then we we ate at Burger King because Daddy was at work. On the way home we were going to stop at the brand new grocery store that was having a 'party' for the neighbors but when Mommy saw all the cars and people she said no way so we were VERY UPSET even when she told us it wasn't like there would be toys at the store.
10/2/2006	Daddy helped at Callie's school again - they played math games on the computer today. Mommy and Callie had a Brownies meeting again - I get to go with and I am very good there. I did the craft with them (a mask) and I had a snack and we played Red Light, Green Light outside. I even said the Pledge with them! I told Mommy I can't wait to be a Brownie and that was my favorite part of the whole day.
10/1/2006	Callie and I helped Mommy clean up this morning because our house was messy and then Daddy had to go to work. We played until it was time for Callie to go to her birthday party and then we rode our bikes there to drop her off. She had a lot of fun at Alex's party - they played an astronaut game where they had to dress up in clothes and pick up bubble wrap with tongs! The girls raced against the boys. They also played Twister and a ring toss game and Alex had a cool rocketship cake. We rode our bikes to pick her up again and then Daddy came home to eat supper with us. I went to bed at 6:45 since I didn't nap again today and Callie stayed up to help Mommy decorate for Halloween!
9/30/2006	We went the parade this morning and then to the mall for lunch and shopping! When we came home it was super nice outside so we played all afternoon drawing with sidewalk chalk and Callie and Mommy played badminton. Even our neighbor, Jackie, came over to play! Daddy decided it would be nice to eat downtown for supper so we could eat on the sidewalk tables before it gets too cold for that and then it was time for bed.
9/28/2006	Today I took my stuffed cat for C show-n-tell. We played catch in the gym, colored circles, and had a suprise in the mail box from COOKIE MONSTER! He really came to our school and left us a note and cookies. Of course Callie tried to tell me there is no such thing as Cookie Monster but Mommy insisted there is. Mommy was supposed to help in Callie's school today but Mrs. Davids was sick so she went shopping instead. Callie and I played all afternoon and then she had more homework. She had to make a booklet about the solar system and do math worksheets too. She read her book to Daddy before he left for darts and then we had to go to bed!
9/27/2006	Mommy and I went to storytime at the library and Adam and Dena were there too! I didn't take a nap today because Mommy had a meeting at school she had to help set up. I looked at books while she arranged the chairs and then a friend from my preschool was there! Her mommy is a room parent too so we played and ran around the library while the mommies had their meeting - it was so much fun. Callie had a lot of homework tonight so I played with play-doh while Mommy helped Callie make her time-line, do her math worksheet, and read her book. Daddy had to go back to work after supper and I had to go to bed super early since I didn't have a nap!
9/26/2006	We talked about the letter C today! We looked at our cocoons but they haven't turned into butterflies yet. We played a color game and went to chapel. I asked if Daddy could pick me up today and he did so I was very excited. Callie took her piggy bank money to school today - Mommy was so proud of her and surprised - she never even counted it because Callie did it so quickly this morning - but it was her allowance for a very long time! They are collecting coins for their new playground. Callie had ballet today and Daddy met us there so we could walk to Taco Johns afterwards - Callie had a free kids meal from there for reading 7 books last week at school! Oh and I forgot to tell you that Daddy has a new 'pet' - Rose, a venus flytrap! He takes her outside to play when he gets home from work. Mommy finds it all very amusing.
9/25/2006	I went with Mommy this morning so she could do some PTA work at school - she was very proud of how good I was there! I looked at books in the library and colored until she was done. Then we ate lunch and took a nap before Callie's brownies meeting. Mommy and some other moms had the girls meet in the library to sing a song, make a paper kite, play games and have a snack together. It was fun and I was very good there too! After supper, we played until bedtime.
9/24/2006	Grandma and Grandpa left this morning so Callie and I spent all day playing. Mommy couldn't believe how much fun we were having (and no fighting!) so she let me skip my nap. Daddy mowed and we still kept playing. We had an early supper but then I started falling asleep and I almost fell off my chair so Mommy had to put me to bed at 6:30. Callie took a bath and was in bed by 7.
9/23/2006	Mommy had to work this morning and Callie and I went out for breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa. Then we did some shopping and finally we all met up together for a late lunch and then I had to take my nap while Callie and Grandma colored. We played all afternoon/evening and Callie and I were both pretty tired out by bedtime.
9/22/2006	Today was Callie's field trip! She had to take a sack lunch because they went there for the whole day. They listened to an astronaut talk, went through the science museum and watched a movie in the cinedome. Mommy and I played and then after school, Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came over! We met up with Daddy and Uncle Tom and talked and then Callie and I went to daycare so the grown ups could eat supper out by themselves.
9/21/2006	I took my baby to show-n-tell today! Mrs. LuAnn brought real birds and she took them out of the cage so we could pet them! She also showed us a real cocoon and told us a butterfly would be coming out soon. We made blueberry biscuits and played with balls in the gym. Mommy helped at Callie's school this morning - she had to draw a picture of Derek and have the kids name things they liked about him. Then she had some kids read to her and she walked around and helped them with their worksheets. Mommy and I met Daddy for lunch and then we went shopping. I fell asleep on the way to Callie's school but Mommy woke me up after 30 minutes so she could get me to bed early I guess (no fair!). We ate supper and had baths before Daddy left for darts and then it was early bedtime for us.
9/20/2006	Callie was a Super Reader at school so she picked out a book from home and read it to her whole class! Mommy and I went to the library storytime today - it was books about pirates. After school Callie and I played house and then Callie had math homework and reading homework! I like to play school now so I read books to my stuffed animals and showed them how to play the computer.
9/19/2006	I was very excited that I had school this morning! When Mommy picked me up though another lady told her son to hold the door for the little girl (meaning me) and I got very upset and cried for a long time after that. I kept asking Mommy why she called me little because I am BIG now! I forgot to tell you that Daddy helped Callie in computer class yesterday - he gets to do that every Monday now and Mommy gets to help with reading class every Thursday while I am at school this year so she is excited too! Callie had ballet today and Mommy and I took a walk instead of waiting in the lobby for her - we sat on a bench and watched all the cars go by! Then we met Daddy at Callie's school for her pizza picnic. We played with Lauren and talked to Mrs. Davids there too.
9/18/2006	I went to Dena's today because Mommy had a Dr Appt. Afterwards we went home to eat lunch and nap and then we picked up Callie and went back to Dena's house - this time so we could play with Gillian too! We had a lot of fun and we were not happy to have to go home but Daddy finally got off at 5 today and even stayed all night with us.
9/17/2006	We went to the Apple Orchard today! We had lunch there, went on pony rides, and played on the haybales before picking apples. Mommy wanted a few different kinds so we rode on the wagon to get to the right orchard. We came home so I could nap while Daddy and Callie went to pick up steaks to grill and then I helped Mommy make apple crisp with our new apples. We also made caramel apples (of course I only at the caramel off mine and gave the apple back to Daddy!) so we had a great supper and yummy desserts tonight!
9/16/2006	Mommy had a toy meeting that was ALL day so we had Daddy to ourselves! He took us out for breakfast, to Sam's and then Shopko for jellybeans. We ate lunch at home, took a nap, and then he mowed while we played Mary and Laura. When Mommy came home they took us to Chuck E Cheese and then Daddy had to go to work.
9/15/2006	Daddy was able to take Callie today so I played with Mommy today. I had asked her yesterday what she did while I was at school and she told me laundry and cleaned the kitchen so I replied "you sound like you were being Cinderella while the stepsisters were at school!" She thought that was pretty funny. Callie had a playdate at Ann's house afterschool so we didn't even have to go pick her up until 5! Since I decided not to nap we had to go outside to play (in the rain!) at 4 because I was starting to fall asleep and Mommy didn't want that to happen. Luckily I got my energy back before picking up Callie so I didn't fall asleep in the car. Mommy made us supper, we played some more and then Daddy called to say good-night.
9/14/2006	I had a fieldtrip today to the library for a puppet show! Mommy told me it was going to be about the three little pigs so I was scared at first because I don't like the big bad wolf but it was fun! We also had show-n-tell for the letter A so I brought my "Mary & Laura Apron" and told them all about how I pumped water there and washed clothes. After my nap it was time to pick up Callie and then Daddy had to go to work (he had been sleeping all day). We made homemade pizza with Mommy and then took early baths because tonight was the first night of Survivor!
9/13/2006	Daddy came home from work just before Mommy took Callie so I decided to stay with him and watch my favorite show, Caillou. He slept all day so we played outside a lot and Mommy rode us on her bike so I could get my haircut! We saw a cute dog in the store next door so we had to go in and play with it afterwards. Then it was time to go to Callie's school for lunch. Callie her had pictures taken today! I took a short nap and then it was time for Callie to come home - Daddy woke up and had to go back to work but he met us later for supper and then went back to work all night again. Oh and I forgot to tell you that Mommy bought me a Dorothy dress for Halloween!
9/12/2006	Daddy took Callie to school and Mommy took me! We learned about the letter A today and talked about aligators and we had chapel too. I told Mommy I have a new friend now (but I couldn't remember her name). We picked up Callie and then we played until her ballet class. She was quite excited to go and we get to watch her the last five minutes - Daddy and Uncle Tom even made it for that part. They started learning a Christmas song! Mommy told us goodbye and we all went to eat at Wendys (Mommy had a toy party). We were fast asleep when she got home and she was jealous because Daddy got Callie to go to sleep in her OWN room (she usually falls asleep in Mommy's bed and then they carry her to her room later) and he got me to go to bed by myself (Mommy lays with me) and I never came out of my room even one time!
9/11/2006	Daddy got home right after we took Callie to school but he had to go back at 3 so he went right to sleep. Mommy and I went shopping and found Callie a Brownie sash and a few patches (her troop number and flag) so Mommy has to see if she can sew them on! When we went to pick up Callie, Mrs. Davids talked to Mommy because they are changing Callie and two other kids spelling lists to the second grade words instead! She already knows all her first grade ones and Mrs. Davids wants her to be more challenged so she even went and talked to the 2nd grade teachers about it too. Callie and I played really nicely together outside while Mommy made supper. Daddy came home to eat and put me and Callie to bed and then he had to go back to work.
9/10/2006	Happy Grandparents Day! We let Daddy sleep in while we watched some tv and ate breakfast. Then after everyone was ready we went on a drive to find street signs for Callie's homework! Daddy left after lunch to go to work and I took a nap while Callie and Mommy painted and played games. We took our baths really early so we had lots of time to play barbies in our pjs (Mommy set up some fun houses!) and then it was time for bed.
9/9/2006	Daddy worked all night and today until lunch!! And then instead of coming home to sleep he wanted to meet us at the Sidewalk Arts Festival for lunch and crafts - he is such a nice (but crazy) daddy! He helped Callie and I make a puppet, clay pot, spin art, and frames while Mommy shopped. He was getting ready to go home to bed when work called - oops he had to go back and he hadn't even slept yet. Poor Daddy. He finally got home at 4 napped for an hour, ate supper, and went to bed for real. Mommy wants to make sure I tell you all about my tantrum today - Daddy flushed for me and I was SUPER DUPER mad - so mad that after they left the bathroom because I wouldn't stop crying - I tried to put my hands in the toilet to get my potty to come back!!! Mommy and Daddy were not too impressed with that idea.
9/8/2006	Daddy wasn't even home this morning from work yet! Mommy took Callie to school and then we came back home to get some work done around the house. Daddy finally got home around 11 and went to sleep - we woke him at 5 to eat supper with us and then he was going to go back to bed but work called and he had to go back for the night. Callie got all of her words on her spelling test right! And she has homework - we have to go on a scavenger hunt for street signs this weekend. Mommy also got a note from her teacher that she will be getting math homework soon too.
9/7/2006	Happy Birthday Great Grandma Anglin! Mommy decided to take Callie to school today because Daddy didn't come home until 3am! He was still ready for work by 8:30 and he even came home and ate a quick supper with us tonight before heading back to work. I had my second day of preschool and we had Show N Tell. I took my kitty that meows when you squeeze it. We painted today and played outside - I had lots of fun! The teacher told Mommy I helped pick up today but I did have a few outbursts - nothing major but I think Mommy is worried about how I am going to be when I get used to school and if this is just a beginning. (She is hoping I am just stressed over a new school and maybe from Daddy being gone so much and that I will get better.) Callie had art and music today and today was Lunch At Eleven for her (where grown ups eat lunch with them) - the daddy who sat at her table told Mommy she came up to him and told him she missed her Mommy so he gave her a big hug to make her feel better.
9/6/2006	Poor Daddy had a hard time waking up - it was 1am last night when he got home but he took Callie to school and then went back again for another long day! Mommy and I went grocery shopping and then she had someone come over for a meeting and I was very good and played and watched tv while they worked. I took a nap but I was still very grumpy after Callie got home and all evening so Mommy decided I must be tired (at least she hoped there was some reason why I was so difficult) so she put Callie and I both to bed at 8 and we were both fast asleep by 8:15!
9/5/2006	Today was my first day of preschool! I was very excited but Mommy thinks I was nervous too because I was pretty difficult this morning with picking out my clothes and many other things too. I didn't want Mommy to go at first but then Mrs. LuAnn played barbies with me so I was ok. Mommy went to Callie's school and helped celebrate Mrs. David's birthday and then came back to pick me up. I had a bit of a fit there (on my FIRST day!) because I didn't want to pick up the pirate ship liked they asked me to. I told Mommy I wanted to pick up the barbies instead (Mommy figures this is because I have a thing with boy stuff and boys - yet another reason why I don't like to wear anything but dresses!). I am excited to go back though. Callie started ballet today and she had LOTS of fun and Daddy got off right at five to come watch her for a little bit and then we all ate out together (a meal together for once!) but then he had to go back to work for another late night (last night was 2am!)
9/4/2006	Daddy worked til midnight again last night and he had to go this morning at 10 again. Callie is really missing him and was sad. Mommy took us out for lunch again and then Julia napped while I colored. Afterwards Mommy was so proud of herself for figuring out how to hook up the bike rack to the hitch on the truck and she got our bikes on there to take them to the bike path! We went on a nice bike ride and stopped to play at the park too. It was time for supper and then baths because tomorrow Callie goes back to school and I have my first day of preschool!
9/3/2006	Daddy was pretty tired this morning so Callie woke up and decided to bring him and Mommy breakfast in bed - she can even pour milk on the cereal now and carried it upstairs without spilling! I was still sleeping but I woke up at 8:30 and had time to play with Daddy before he had to go to work AGAIN! Mommy took us girls out to lunch and shopping then we came home and played outside all afternoon. Mommy made supper and we put on jammies and watched a movie before going to bed early (I didn't nap so I was asleep a little before 8 for once!).
9/2/2006	Daddy took us to get donuts this morning and then he had to go to work. Mommy took us shopping this morning and then we played at home the rest of the day. She worked on things for Callie's Brownies troop (they are going to start soon!) and then she made us supper. Daddy was still working when it was time for bed so he called to say good night.
9/1/2006	I forgot to tell you that Callie was Student of the Day yesterday so she was very happy about that! She didn't have school this morning so we were pretty lazy and played lots of games. Since we had been up late last night both Callie and I took naps and then we got ready for Andrew, Abby, Matt, and Megan to come over (and their mom and dad). We all ate supper together - even Daddy got off work on time and then we played and played.
8/31/2006	Daddy took Callie to school today because Mommy and I had to be home for the repairman - they brought us a new water heater so I don't have to take a bath in yellow water anymore! Callie had her friend, Ann, come over today and I even played with them for awhile. After supper I had my open house at my new preschool! Callie was excited to see her old teachers (and they couldn't believe how big she is now) but I got pretty shy. I had fun playing with the toys though and they had a scavenger hunt that Mommy and I went on to find the bathroom, the water fountain, the Star of the Week board and things like that. Callie saw her old preschool friend, Anna, because her little sister is going to be in my class. I start on Tuesday and I am pretty excited to go back. Mommy went out with a friend afterwards so Daddy put us to bed tonight.
8/30/2006	Mommy and I went to eat lunch at Callie's school again - we had to take a card with so all the kids could sign it(for Mrs. David's birthday). After school Callie and I played outside and the little girl who lives behind us actually came out to play! She came in our yard for awhile and then we went in hers - we had a lot of fun. Daddy came home late again tonight - he has lots of work to do and now it sounds like he will have to work ALL weekend too. Callie went to bed early tonight because she is going to have a friend over tomorrow so Mommy wanted to make sure she wasn't crabby.
8/29/2006	Callie woke up this morning at 6:30 and decided to ride the bus so her friend Alex was very happy. They are reading Little House on the Prairie at school (a chapter each day) so now they play Laura and Mary at recess! And Callie wrote a story about the cats last night so she took it to school to read it - they get to sit on a special chair when they do that. We went to the libary after picking Callie up from school and wanted to visit a dance studio but they were closed. Callie really wants to take ballet class this year so Mommy is trying to find a place for her to go. Uncle Tom came over to babysit because Daddy had to work late and Mommy had a PTA meeting!
8/28/2006	We took Callie to school and then had some shopping to do. I started getting really cranky around lunchtime so Mommy decided it was time for a nap and I agreed - I didn't even want to eat first! Mommy was expecting Callie to be really cranky after school too but she wasn't so that was a nice surprise. Daddy had to work late so we ate without him and got ready for bed. Mommy is reading us a new chapter book now because we finished Charlotte's Web - this one is about a black cat named Jenny Linsky. Mommy thinks it is pretty neat that I like chapter books as much, if not more, than Callie does!
8/27/2006	It was chilly last night and this morning and Mommy couldn't understand why I would NOT cover up with anything other than my froggy blanket. She tried to put a blanket on while I was sleeping but I woke up and got mad so she gave up. Daddy took us to skip rocks while Mommy got ready for the day. We went to the fish hatchery and to a Lewis & Clark festival for a little bit before lunch. We were getting ready to grill when I fell apart and Mommy realized I would never make it through lunch and packing up so they packed up while I fell asleep in my booster seat and the rest of them grabbed food at Burger King on the way home. Callie only had time to eat one chicken nugget before falling asleep too! We played at home, had supper and baths, and were ready for bed after our fun weekend.
8/26/2006	We woke up at 7 and went on a bike ride with Mommy while Daddy slept. We stopped at the park to play, then went to the beach to skip rocks (or try anyway) and then went on a longer bike ride. Mommy took us to a path with some big rollercoaser hills and Callie rode them - she thought they were fun! Daddy was up when we came back to our tent so then we went to the visitor center to dress up and came back to grill our lunch. I was cranky so Daddy napped with me while Mommy and Callie played games and then we all went to the beach to swim! After supper Daddy and Callie played frisbee golf while Mommy and I went on a bike ride and then we came back to have another bonfire with smores! We also used Daddy's spotting scope to try and see Mars. We were both ready for bed by 9:30 tonight so Mommy and Daddy enjoyed the fire by themselves.
8/25/2006	Mommy and I met Dena and Adam at the coffee shop after we dropped off Callie. Adam and I had fun playing in the toy corner and then we had to go get a few more groceries for our camping trip. We packed the truck and went and picked up Callie. Daddy was supposed to be done at 3 but he was very late but we did finally get to leave. Since it was late we picked up supper on the way to our campsite and then set up our tent and had a bonfire! Callie went to bed at 9 but since I had napped on the way I stayed up with Mommy and Daddy until the fire went out.
8/24/2006	Mommy and I decided to surprise Callie today and eat lunch with her - she was really excited to see us! I was super good and sat very nice at the table with her friends so Mommy was proud of me. We stayed on the playground with her for a little bit and then we said goodbye. I decided I didn't want to take a nap so Mommy and I played and then it was time to pick up Callie. She was afraid I would fall asleep but I didn't! Callie told us she had her first spelling test today. She also had music and art. We played all afternoon and Mommy was happy that Callie doesn't seem so tired anymore. After baths and a game we were ready for bed - I was asleep at 7:30 and Callie at 8 so Mommy and Daddy were excited to finally have a long evening to themselves!
8/23/2006	Callie had gym class today so she had to remember to wear her tennis shoes. She played some fun games with Mrs. Davids today too. We went to the park after supper and Callie rode her bike - she did a great job! I decided Daddy should take me in the wagon just like Caillou on tv! Mommy gave up on getting me to sleep without her and now since I am getting up earlier I go to sleep pretty easily. Of course I am still very anal about my covers - I refuse to sleep under my comforter (which means Mommy never has to make my bed!) and my bunny blankie has to cover me first and then my froggie blankie. OH and Mommy is NOT allowed to lay on my pillow or blankies while she is reading me my book because then they get hot and that makes me mad.
8/22/2006	Mommy decided to take Callie to school again and then we came home so she could clean the house. I was very good about playing by myself but I did ask a few times if it was time to get Callie yet! Mommy convinced me to take a nap (apparently I don't mind so much when Callie isn't around) and then it was time to pick her up. She was in a much better mood and more rested so we had lots of fun playing outside. The ice cream truck even came by after supper while we were out with Daddy so he bought us treats for our bedtime snack and then it was time to go in.
8/21/2006	Today was Callie's first day of 1st Grade! She must have been excited because she woke up at 6am - I woke up at 7 and had breakfast with them and then Mommy and I took Callie to school. We walked her in today so we could help her get her desk organized and then Mommy and I went grocery shopping. After putting the food away we had our shopping day! I picked out new tennis shoes, cowgirl boots, and red sparkly shoes just like Dorothy wears! I also found a new dress and then Mommy let me pick where I wanted to eat lunch (except no chuck e cheese) so I decided to go to Uncle Tom's restaurant but he wasn't working so I was sad for a bit but we still had a lot of fun! After a short nap, Mommy had to wake me to pick Callie up. She had a great day but by supper was wiped out from waking up so early. She played with Derek at recess and they had music today and played lots of games. Mommy and I took a walk after Callie went to bed and then I went to bed.
8/20/2006	We went out for breakfast this morning and when we got home Daddy told us the sad news that Augie died. I was very upset and said "that is so sad and now Grandma will be very sad" and Callie decided to make Grandma & Grandpa a very nice note and picture of Augie. We went to Target later so I could get my new pink booster seat! Callie had to do homework - she made a Me Bag for school and had to decorate it and put some of her favorite things in it. We played outside while Daddy mowed and then it was time for bath and bed because tomorrow is Callie's big day!
8/19/2006	Happy Birthday Grandma Robinson!!! We went to DeSmet today to visit Laura and Mary's house! It was so much fun. First we went to the house they stayed in during their first winter here, then we went to the house Pa built when they moved back to town after farming. We shopped at the store and Mommy let us get aprons and bonnets! Then we went out to the homestead and there were TONS of things to do. We saw the sod house, the log cabin, the barn where we rode on a horse and then took a wagon ride to the school. Callie even went up front at the school to recite Humpty Dumpty! After that we made corn cob dolls, a jumprope, and we washed clothes the old fashioned way too! It was 6 when we left and we were starving but we were also so tired and we fell asleep before Daddy could get to a restaurant so we drove until Brookings and they woke us up to eat supper. We got home and had to play Mary and Laura before going to bed!
8/18/2006	Dena, Gillian, and Adam came over this morning to play! Then at lunch we said good-bye and went to meet Daddy. It started storming and was all dark so Mommy thought for sure she was going to be able to get me to nap after lunch but we saw her big box of toys on the step so then there was NO WAY I was sleeping! We played all afternoon with her new things and had lots of fun. Mommy made a quick supper that Daddy ate with us and then he left to go out with friends and we played more until bedtime. Oh yah I ended up falling asleep in Mommy's lap at 4 so guess what - I didn't want to go to bed again. I think Mommy is getting really tired of bedtime struggles but I have done so good with potty training that she is trying to overlook them.
8/17/2006	We went to the teacher store today so Callie could get sentence strips for Mrs. Davids (we picked them from the donation tree) then we went to the coffee store and Mommy got us muffins - yummy! After lunch Mommy got this idea to go through our toyboxes and closets and clean out or bedrooms - we helped for about 10 minutes and then we just went and played. She made a HUGE mess but our rooms sure like cool now! Uncle Tom met us for supper and then Daddy put us to bed so Mommy could work on the playroom since she carried lots of toys down there and had to pack up lots more. Of course I don't like Daddy putting me to bed and since I fell asleep around 5 I wasn't tired so I got back up and watched Mommy until much later.
8/16/2006	Tonight was Callie's open house so she was excited (and I think Mommy was too!). We met Daddy there and saw Mrs. Davids - Callie was too shy to give her a hug at first but then she did. Kathryn and Derek were there too. We found her desk and then she had to find her name in a word find, guess how many candies were in a jar, and make a nametag for her coat hook. She has the same room as last year but Mrs. Davids had it all moved around plus they have desks instead of tables. Almost all of Callie's friends are still in her same room so she is happy but Mommy found out the bus is coming even earlier to pick up this year so that wasn't good news. After the open house we went to Chuck E Cheese and then we came home and had a camp out in Callie's room!
8/15/2006	We only slept until 8 this morning so Mommy is hopeful that we will be ready for earlier mornings soon. We went to the zoo today and even watched them feed the new anteater! It was sure big - last time we were there he was all curled up in a ball. Daddy met us at 12 at the park by the zoo and we had a picnic lunch together. Then we came home so Mommy could do some work and finally we headed to the pool. After supper we watched some of the Miss Teen USA because Miss South Dakota was a girl from Eureka and Gillian knows her (her grandpa lives there)! We were both in bed by 8 and since I didn't nap again today I actually fell asleep right away.
8/14/2006	Callie was tired out so she slept in until 9:30! Mommy said we need to start getting used to our school schedule so pretty soon we have to get up early and go to bed early. We played games and had a picnic by the tv today so we could eat and watch Sesame Street - a new character started the show today! She is a fairy and her name is Abby so I really thought that was neat and had to tell Daddy all about it over supper. I helped Daddy mow afterwards while Mommy took Callie to her last day of gymanstics. Since I didn't nap again Daddy had me in bed before 8.
8/13/2006	Mommy and Callie went shopping today so she could get new tennis shoes and a few outfits for school. They went out for lunch too and then she came back home to get ready for a friend's birthday party! I went shopping with Daddy and he took me to his work for awhile so I drew him butterflies on his whiteboard. Callie's friend has a swimming pool so she got to swim there! After supper, we all went outside to practice on our bikes - I am getting super good. I didn't nap today so Mommy was hopeful I would go to bed early and easy. The early part was right but I still cried and screamed for her to sleep with me so she took a walk while Daddy put us to bed.
8/12/2006	We were all very tired today so Callie and Mommy skipped their shopping day and we just hung out in our pjs all morning. After lunch, we went to the Courthouse Museum and the Pettigrew House Museum! They were fun but I kept asking where Laura's house was - I guess I have to wait to see that. We ate an early supper and then watched The Wizard of Oz! Ever since Callie and I saw that play in the park this summer, I have wanted to be Dorothy so I was excited to watch the movie finally! The witch was sort of scary but Mommy reminded me that Dorothy throws water on her to melt her so then I was ok. Callie went to bed early but like always I had fallen asleep around 4 so I was a stinker about bedtime.
8/11/2006	Callie had her last day of Zoo Camp today - she had a sprinkler party at the end so she wore her swimming suit! We picked her up at 4 and then Mommy had to run a few errands befores she took us to Kim's house. They babysat us so Mommy and Daddy could go out to eat and to a concert. Mommy told us all about the band (tesla) and how she and Daddy used to listen to it in their car when they drove back and forth on Main Street in highschool - how silly! We got to eat pizza, jump on the trampoline while the spinkler was on under it, play, watch a movie and have a camp-out in their living room! We were all fast asleep when Mommy and Daddy came to get us so they carried us to the car and put us to bed when we got home.
8/10/2006	We played all morning and then after lunch Daddy picked up Callie and took her to zoocamp. She watched the tigers eat her snack yesterday and today they got to ride the carousel! Daddy got off work at 4:30 so we went to his work and then we all went to Wild Water West for his work picnic! I really love those waterslides and so does Callie so we had lots of fun. His work even had supper for everyone and they paid for us to do the adventurepark too - Daddy and I went on the go-carts (and one of his friends told him that they were pretty sure I was sleeping on them - hmm I guess I might have since I didn't nap today!) Mommy and I played mini golf next and Mommy and Callie went on the bumper boats but I didn't want to try those. It was 9 when we finished playing and we were super tired - both of us fell asleep on the way home!
8/9/2006	We met Andrew, Abby, and the twins at the library this morning. Callie got to pick another prize because she wore her t-shirt and then we all went out for lunch together! Afterwards, Mommy took Andrew and Callie to zoocamp (we played at the park for awhile since we had some time) and then she and I went home to nap. I napped for so long that she lost track of time and didn't wake me until 3:45 - not enough time to get to zoo by 4! Luckily Daddy works right next to the zoo so she called him and he picked Callie up and took her to his office for a snack while she waited for us to get her. We stayed home this evening and just played and then went to bed early (well Callie did but since I napped so late I was a real stinker about bedtime and stayed up with Mommy until 10:30!)
8/8/2006	Mommy wasn't feeling well all day so she mostly stayed in bed while we played. Daddy brought us lunch and then he took Callie to zoocamp and I napped with Mommy! Kim brought Callie home from zoo camp (because Andrew is in it too) and then we all played for awhile. Daddy came and took us to Kids Night in the Park and Uncle Tom met us there too - we won lots of candy and prizes. Mommy started feeling a little better so she went to her meeting and when she came home Daddy had given us baths and put us to bed already!
8/7/2006	We played at home this morning and then Daddy came home at lunch to take Callie to ZooCamp. It was about animal babies so she got to see the workers feed the baby goats with bottles and she could pet a baby hedgehog! We picked her up after we went grocery shopping and then we came home for supper. Daddy had to mow and I went with Mommy to watch Callie at gymnastics! Uncle Tom and Daddy showed up at the end and surprised Callie - then we all went out for ice cream.
8/6/2006	We went to Okiboji today. On the way I blew my nose and asked Callie if that was ketchup on the kleenex - when she told me it was blood I freaked! Daddy had to pull over so Mommy could help me and then I was afraid to blow my nose the rest of the day. We had a lot of fun once we got there though - we ate lunch and rode LOTS of rides. Callie and I went on the fish, train, boats, and apples and then we went on the flume with Mommy and Daddy. Callie even went on the scrambler with Daddy! After we had a snack and played at the park we went to the beach and swam. Daddy and I collected rocks too! Then we went out for supper and put on our pjs to head home. We sure surprised Mommy and Daddy by not going to sleep though - we were so hyper and laughed and played all the way home. But then we were fast asleep as soon as we were tucked in!
8/5/2006	Daddy took us out for breakfast this morning so Mommy could unpack and clean up the house and then we played all afternoon after my nap. Daddy grilled and then we played a game before bed. Mommy is trying to convince me I need to go to bed by myself (she always lays with me) and she is also trying to get Callie to sleep in her own bed again (she got really used to sleeping in Mommy's bed after her surgery) so bedtime was a battle. Mommy ended up reading in the hallway where we could see her and Callie fell asleep very quickly but I had a much harder time. She finally had to move in to the doorway of my room to read and then I finally fell asleep.
8/4/2006	We went to the museum today and then to Storybook Land so we could walk the Yellow Brick Road. I like to play Dorothy and Toto now so I had fun seeing all the characters there. We had a late lunch back at Grandma's and then we packed up and headed home so we could eat supper with Daddy!
8/3/2006	Callie had fun making her own lettuce salad with lots of garden vegetables for lunch today but I didn't want any of that! I took a nap after lunch and then we went and saw Don and Dawn's new baby girl, Reghan - she just wanted to sleep though. I wondered on the way over if she would hit me so Mommy had to explain how little babies hardly do anything. Then when we got there I wanted to know when she was going to get up and walk so Mommy had to explain she doesn't even crawl, let alone walk! I was very interested in her. Mommy took us to Grandma and Grandpa Ivey's office so she could eat out with Grandma Robinson and do another toy party. We ate at Pizza Ranch, went to the park, visited Great Grandma Ivey, and played with Ashlynne and saw Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin too! It was a fun night and then we went back to Grandma Robinson's to sleep.
8/2/2006	Callie slept in until 9 again this morning and then we packed up the car and headed to Aberdeen! We stayed at Grandma Robinson's house (grandpa was in Canada fishing!) and we checked out how tall our sunflowers were! Mommy had a toy party after supper so we played and got ready for bed before she came home.
8/1/2006	After Julia's nap, Andrew, Abby, Matt, and Megan came over to play! We even all went out for supper together after Daddy got home.
7/31/2006	We went over to Gillian's house this morning to let Henry outside and feed him because they are camping. Mommy sat on the deck to drink her coffee while we played in the backyard and tried to throw Henry some balls to fetch but he wasn't into that today. Afterwards we went to the library and Callie wore her shirt so she got to pick another prize! We both napped and then after supper it was my last day of music class - the air was turned off though so it was hot and not very much fun. Daddy took Callie to gymnastics and then we call came home for bedtime snacks.
7/30/2006	We helped Mommy with laundry and working around the house and then after a good nap, we went out to Wild Water West at 4! We met Uncle Tom there and swam, went in the lazy river, and down water slides! Mommy was especially surprised that I went down the BIG one with Daddy over and over - I loved it. We ate supper there and swam more - Uncle Tom even talked Mommy into going down the scary waterslide with him! We were all tired out when we got home and bedtime was difficult, especially for Callie because she is still trying to get better from her surgery and gets tired and whiney very easily.
7/29/2006	Happy Anniversary Mommy and Daddy! Callie and I (well mostly Callie) got fruit loops out and put them in bowls and got glasses of water and took them to Mommy and Daddy in bed! Mommy was so excited - that was her first breakfast in bed. We all got ready for the day and decided to go out for a 'second' breakfast at the new pancake restaurant and then we went to the library so Callie could get her prizes for reading 30 days this summer. Finally it was time for Derek's birthday party - she was very excited. They jumped on the trampoline and played games until 3 when Daddy picked her up (I napped during this time) and then after Mommy got all fancied up we went to daycare and they went out to eat supper at the Brazilian Carnivale.
7/28/2006	Callie was getting ready today and told Mommy she must be getting smaller because her skirt kept falling down! Mommy dropped me and Callie off at Gillian's house to play so she could go run some errands and then when she came back, we all went out for lunch together! Then it was time for Callie's check-up. The dr said it looked really good and she could eat whatever she wanted now. He also told Mommy her voice could take two months to go back to normal! I went potty all by myself today while Mommy was in the shower - she was pretty impressed. And after supper we went shopping (and I picked out my backpack since I get to go to preschool now) and I went potty at Target!
7/27/2006	Callie was really tired today - she slept in until 9 and then after lunch we both napped at about 1. I woke up at 2 of course but Callie slept til 4:15! We met Uncle Tom for supper and then we came home to play before bed - it has been just too hot to be outside so we just played barbies. Callie has a new surfing barbie she got for her birthday that I always ask to play with (except I call it her sliding glass door barbie which Mommy finds very funny!). I only went potty once today but I did it without any crying!
7/26/2006	I had a dentist appointment today to check my front teeth but he said they looked great now and the grey color left! Mommy was surprised I wasn't even scared - I just went right in when they called my name. I got my fifth sticker for going potty today so I got my brand new Barbie nightgown - I was pretty excited! Mommy had a toy party at our house after supper so Daddy took us to the mall until it was over - we saw Derek there too.
7/25/2006	Kim was going to come pick me up to take me to the zoo today but Callie really wanted to come too so we all went and Mommy figured if Callie got tired they would just rest but she had fun and we only went through part of it. We ate lunch and Callie was able to eat part of a cheeseburger so Mommy was happy. I had an accident at the zoo (Mommy was surprised since I usually hold it until supper!) but then at home I went potty TWO more times in the potty chair! Each time I cried a little bit less before actually doing it too so maybe I am going to get this figured out before preschool starts.
7/24/2006	Mommy cleaned today and we played. Callie seemed to feel worse today again and actually wanted to take her pain medicine so that means she must be really hurting! After lunch Mommy had a meeting at a neighbor's house about Brownies -we played with the other kids there. They were all Callie's age but she didn't feel well so she mostly sat on Mommy's lap but I ran around with them. After supper Daddy left for a concert and I went potty again!! I cried a lot again of course but I was so proud once I did it - I didn't even want to put my diaper on for bed but Mommy insisted I wasn't ready for that yet (especially since I only go potty once for the WHOLE day).
7/23/2006	We stayed home and rested most of today. Mommy had her first toy party tonight at Alyssa's house so Jason, Abby, and Tanner came over here to watch a movie! And I went potty on the potty chair again finally! Mommy was sure surprised when she got home because I had new pjs on (my surprise gift that Grandma left for me). Of course I cried a lot and it took forever but I am happy now!
7/22/2006	Callie woke up feeling pretty good this morning so we were all happy that we were going to be able to go to the Air Show! Daddy brought the wagon so he could pull us so Callie wouldn't get too tired and Mommy and he carried the lawn chairs. We finally found a spot to set up our stuff and Daddy realized he forgot his money so he had to walk ALL the way back to the car to get it and he missed the first few airplanes so he was bummed. They sure did lots of neat tricks! Later Mommy went to get us lunch and she had to stand in line for a whole hour - there were so many more people than they had planned for. She called us when only two people were in front of her so we could help carry stuff because she ordered lots - she didn't want to go back! The Blue Angels were last and they were super neat - then it was a very long time getting back to our car and we were all tired and cranky and Mommy & Daddy were sunburned too so it was not a fun evening at our house.
7/21/2006	Callie had a tough morning again but after she finally took her pain medicine she started feeling better. Mommy even took us to Walgreens to get her medicine flavored (but that didn't make it better I guess) and she went through the drivethrough to get her coffee and us muffins - Callie ate 1/2 of hers - yippee! She also ate spaghetti for supper and had a lot more to drink today so by bedtime she looked a lot better. Daddy is sure hoping we can go to the airshow tomorrow! I tried wearing underwear again today but had a huge fit (like always) at 7pm when I finally couldn't hold it any longer. I ended up having an accident because I just won't sit on the pottychair. Mommy and Daddy just don't know what to do anymore.
7/20/2006	Callie was even worse today - she isn't drinking or eating very much and is very weak. She took a nap while I did which Mommy was glad for and then when we woke up Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came over to visit. Grandpa's bank was having a big celebration - he even brought us some balloons. Grandma brought Callie some little gifts to open each day as she rests for the next few days and she brought me a surprise but I can't have it until I go potty in the potty chair so Mommy has to keep it. Daddy grilled kabobs and then Grandma and Grandpa had to leave so Callie could rest. I sure hope she feels better soon!
7/19/2006	Callie woke up with a super sore throat this morning and could hardly talk. Mommy gave her a bell to ring when she wanted something! She doesn't like her medicine so Mommy had a hard time getting her to take it. I kept bothering Callie to play and then I cried a lot when she kept getting ice cream and popsicles - then she cried because she wanted a corn dog like I had. She also never wanted Mommy to leave her and I wanted Mommy to play with ME so I think Mommy had a LONG day! After supper, Daddy played with Callie and Mommy and I ran errands to we could leave Callie alone and I could have some me time with Mommy. It was sure fun - we went out to my friend Olivia's house to drop off a toy catalog and I played on her swingset for awhile so our Mommies could talk.
7/18/2006	Mommy had to wake us up super early this morning because it was the day of Callie's surgery! Callie was really scared and didn't want to go but Daddy made her laugh and we were on our way. At the hospital they had us sit in her room and the doctors came to talk to Callie and each one brought her a beanie baby (and gave one to me too!) so we ended up with quite a collection! Finally they came to get her in a wagon but she started crying again but they told her she could walk so she was ok then. They brought her back in a wheelchair and I was very upset and kept asking if Callie could still walk. Daddy and I went to the gift store while Callie and Mommy watched some tv and we bought Callie and stuffed animal and balloon. Then I was getting tired and hyper so Mommy decided I needed to go home so Callie could rest better. We took a long nap (mine was three hours!) and then we went back to pick Callie up at 2! She watched lots of tv and drank lots and finally went to bed at 7:30.
7/17/2006	We had to get groceries with Mommy this morning (something Callie really hates doing but I don't mind so much) and then Callie decided for her last day before surgery she really wanted to go swimming. We met Gillian and Adam at the pool after my nap and swam until supper time. Then I had music class and Daddy took me so Mommy could take Callie to gymnastics. We went out for ice cream afterwards and then I went to bed but Mommy and Daddy let Callie stay up and play games for awhile before going to bed.
7/16/2006	We slept in until 8:30 and then we all went out for donuts at Krispy Kreme! Afterwards we headed to the Pavilion and played for awhile there. Daddy and Jaime wanted to see the airplane show there so we all decided to join them - bad idea! It made Mommy dizzy and sick and Callie and I both fell asleep! So that was our nap for the day - we woke up when we got to the car. We had a very late lunch and then played at home more until 5 when Jaime, Heidi, and Haile had to go home. Callie and I were both very tired so we went to bed before 8.
7/15/2006	Callie woke up and got dressed at 6:30 this morning because she was so excited to meet Haile. Of course Mommy and Daddy weren't happy getting up that early because lots of their friends showed up at midnight and everyone was up really late having a party! Finally we met Haile and we played at the park while the guys played frisbee golf. It was too hot to stay long to watch so we went out for lunch and back home. After supper we all went to JazzFest and met lots of other friends there too. Gillian, Adam, Haile, Callie, and I all made bead bracelets, had our faces painted, and jumped in the bounce house. Uncle Tom gave us a ride in his golf cart too! Then Daddy gave us all glow lights to play with as it got dark. We stayed until midnight to watch the fireworks (I was asleep by then) and then Mommy tucked me in when we got home. Callie and Haile had a sleepover in her room while Mommy, Daddy, Jaime, & Heidi sat on the deck. It was sure a fun day!
7/14/2006	I was really tired today so I didn't want to be with my class at all! I sat down and did the craft with them while they were in Mommy's room but after that I just played and watched Mommy. We found Callie after it was over and helped Mommy clean up her room and then went home to eat lunch and take a nap. When Daddy got home from work, he and Callie went to pick up Haley from the vet - she had her surgery this morning and was ready to come home! And we also found out Daddy's friend Jaime and his family were coming to Sioux Falls tonight so we were excited (but we had to go to bed before they got here because it was going to be midnight)
7/13/2006	I really didn't want to play in the gym this morning so Mommy let me come to the teacher meeting with her (Callie had to come too once she realized I was coming) and then I decided I didn't want to sing in the chapel so I helped Mommy set up the room. After I did my craft with my group though I left and went to the other rooms so Mommy was happy about that. Our program was tonight! We all wore out sunshine shirts we made (Mommy did too!) and Callie went up front to sing but I was too scared. Afterwards we showed Daddy all our rooms we go to and then we had ice cream in the gym. Everyone had to bring their favorite topping to share so we walked around to all the tables to find yummy things to put on our ice cream. We were very tired so Mommy put us right to bed (Daddy had to go to work) when we got home.
7/12/2006	Mommy was late for her teacher meeting this morning because we were pretty tired and didn't wake up as early! I was sad about having Mommy leave today and then when we were in the chapel singing I saw her and started screaming and crying for her to come sing with me so she did. I go to her class first and after I did my craft I was just fine about moving to the next room so Mommy was pretty happy about that! After lunch I took my nap and then we went to the wading pool to meet Callie's friend, Lauren and her sisters & Mom. Mommy was impressed with how I wanted to play with the big girls so much that I got over my fear of the 'deep' (2 feet) side of the pool and walked all over following them. She was a little afraid I was going to lose my balance since it was up to my shoulders and fall in but I didn't! We met Uncle Tom for supper and then played and went to bed.
7/11/2006	We were excited to go back to VBS today! After we sang in the church, I went to Mommy's room to make stained glass pictures with tissue paper. We had Rosa the Rabbit snacks (cookies, apples, and licroce - yummy!) and we played games too. Callie was the line leader today in her group. We were pretty hyper so Mommy said we could skip our nap but then we went shopping later I fell asleep around 5 again so I just can't make it without a nap I guess. We ate a quick supper and Daddy took us to a play at the park (wizard of oz!) while Mommy went to her Toy Meeting. I didn't want to go to bed without her laying with me so I laid in my bed awake until 10pm when she finally came home to sleep with me - then I fell asleep in about 10 seconds!
7/10/2006	Today was our first day of Vacation Bible School! We had to be there at 8:15 for Mommy's meeting and Callie and I played in the gym with some other kids until 9 when it started. Mommy was afraid I wouldn't want to leave her room when I came through but I didn't mind at all (of course it helped to find out the snack was in the next room and I was anxious to go eat!). I painted a sun on a t-shirt with my handprints in Mommy's room and then I learned the bible story in another room, watched a movie in another, and played games outside after our snack! Callie did lots of the same things but she was upstairs with the big kids this year. We helped Mommy clean up and then we went home for lunch and a nap - and boy were we tired -Mommy too! I had music tonight and I was very happy Ms. Myra was back and Daddy took Callie to gymnastics. Mommy and I went on a bike ride when we got home and Daddy took Callie out for ice cream.
7/9/2006	It was super hot here again today so we went to the pool after lunch. Mommy decided we could skip our nap (hmm I think she wanted us to get to bed early for once!) but after swimming hard I just couldn't stay awake and ended up taking a short catnap which of course meant I was still up until 9! Callie practiced lots swimming at the big pool - she sure likes going there! We ate supper at Uncle Tom's restaurant and it was slow so he came outside to sit with us for awhile - he even bought us dessert - yummy!
7/8/2006	It was the rhino's first birthday today at the zoo and they had a party so Daddy took us (mommy had to go to the church to work more on Vacation Bible School stuff). We got hats and candy bags, ate cake, and made a kite! Then we watched the rhino get her cake but she was scared of it and so was her Mommy - she stood in front of her to protect her. Finally after lots of sniffing they ate the fruit on top of the cake. It sure was fun to watch and after our naps, we told Mommy all about it. After supper Daddy helped us follow directions we got from to zoo to make Rhino Snot - and then we played with it all night!
7/6/2006	We had to take Haley to the vet again today because her sore hasn't gotten better. She is going to need surgery now - and Callie's surgery will be a few days after Haleys so they can get better together! We went with Mommy to the church so she could set up her classroom and then after lunch and our nap we went to the Brandon wading pool to swim with Andrew, Abby, Matt, and Megan. Mommy had to work at the mall tonight so we played with Daddy until bedtime.
7/5/2006	Callie and I both slept in this morning so when naptime came around we weren't very tired. Mommy was quite frustrated with me because she had a training call at 1 and she thought I would be sleeping but I wasn't! Callie and I were very quiet though and didn't bother her at all so she was proud of us. We played all afternoon and then we took showers after supper and went to bed early - Mommy said we need to get back to waking up at 7:30 because next week is Vacation Bible School!
7/4/2006	Happy Birthday America! We went to the parade this morning and I ran up and got candy everytime someone came by that was passing it out. We went out to Gigglebees for lunch and then came home to watch the rocket go into space. Callie and I both had to take naps so we could stay up late and after playing a bit we finally got ready to go to the races. Callie liked picking cars to win each race but I just wanted to play restuarant and pretend to pour Mommy and Daddy drinks and food. I was excited for the fireworks though and I really liked those! Mommy couldn't believe we didn't fall asleep on the way home since the races were in Brandon but I guess we are getting too used to staying up late!
7/3/2006	Mommy had to unpack and clean up the house so Callie and I played all day. We were tired too so we took a long nap and then after a quick supper, we all went to the swimming pool! We went to the big one this time so Callie could practice her swimming and Mommy helped me pretend to swim too. We came home to shower and Mommy made flag cookies for our bedtime snack.
7/2/2006	We met Grandpa and Grandma Ivey for breakfast and then visited Great-Grandma Ivey before packing up our stuff and heading home. Callie picked some things out of the garden first and she was eating lettuce all afternoon - just munching it like a rabbit so Mommy found that pretty funny! We rode home with Mommy and both slept for a long time.
7/1/2006	We ate lunch with Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin today! We were getting very tired and cranky but we ended up taking nice long naps at Grandma and Grandpa Ivey's house and then we swam in their little pool and played with the waterguns again! After supper, Grandpa started a fire in their firepit and we had root beer floats - yummy! We were getting tired so it was time to get to bed but first Daddy insisted we light a few more fireworks when we got back to Grandpa and Grandma Robinson's house.
6/30/2006	Grandma and Mommy took us to Storybook Land this morning for storytime and a craft - we made a troll! It was very hot out so we didn't spend much time at the park and instead grabbed lunch at McDonalds and headed back for our nap. Mommy met her friend for lunch while we slept and then we all ran through the sprinkler when we woke up! After supper and some more playing Daddy finally go there! We had LOTS of fun doing our fireworks - I even did my first sparkler. Callie had a lot of fun helping Daddy light the fireworks and we were both up quite late! I finally fell asleep in Mommy's lap around 11 and Callie went to bed after midnight.
6/29/2006	We packed the car and headed to Aberdeen (daddy had to stay to go to work though) - but not until the toy lady dropped all of Mommy's things off. She is going to sell toys now! We played all afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa Robinson. After supper, we played outside until it was time for bed - I didn't nap on the way so Callie and I were both asleep by 8:30!
6/28/2006	We had lots of stores to go to today so Callie and I were getting very antsy but then we met Daddy for lunch so we were happy about that! I didn't want to take a nap again so it was two before I finally fell asleep and that made it too late to go to the pool when I woke up. We played outside and on the computer (I am getting very addicted to the computer)until Daddy got home to grill and then we bought our fireworks! Callie wanted to light them off right away and Daddy did too but Mommy said they had to wait. We went to the mall and played while Mommy worked and then it was bedtime.
6/27/2006	We babysat Matt and Megan and Andrew today because Kim had to go to the doctor (and Abby was at ZooCamp). It was lots of fun - and I really wanted to eat lunch next to the babies (Mommy had put them on the little table) but then Matt wanted to drink my milk so I decided to join the big kids instead. Since it was past my naptime when they left Mommy thought I could just stay up but around 3 when Callie and I were playing computer games, I fell asleep sitting up! Daddy brought supper home tonight and then Mommy went to a party at Dena's house so we got have playtime with Daddy and then he put us to bed.
6/26/2006	We were all tired today so we stayed home so Mommy could do lots of chores. I am still very scared to use the potty chair and it takes an hours worth (or more) of crying before I finally do it and Mommy is becoming stressed and since she figures I must feel the same way we are taking a break from it again. I had music class tonight but Miss Myra was gone and we had Mr. Dell - I do NOT like boy workers so I was nervous. Daddy took me and I didn't want to do anything until he said I had to go have fun with the kids or else we would leave and then I ran and had fun! Mommy took Callie to gymnastics - she was excited and practicing all day so she was VERY upset to find out it was cancelled (there was a note on the door). They came back home and then had time to play games and color so that made Callie happy.
6/25/2006	I had a lot of fun eating breakfast with Abby this morning in her camper and then we showered and got ready for our day. It was a lot chillier so we went on a bike ride (and Callie did such a good job!) and then Daddy took us frisbee golfing. Abby and I became bored of it so we played at the park with Mommy while Callie and Andrew finished the course. We grilled for lunch, tore down our tent and headed to the beach for one last afternoon. It looked like it was going to storm again around 3 so we cleaned up and said good bye to Erkonens and then Callie really wanted Mommy to go on the dam tour so we did that again (and we had to wait until 4 for Mommy's favorite Yankton pizza place to open) and then we had supper before coming home!
6/24/2006	I was on my way downstairs this morning when I looked up at Mommy very confused and said "were we camping?" -she laughed and told me we came home in the middle of the night! I got very upset but she explained we were going right back and we were on the road by 9am! We got all of our bedding on clotheslines to dry out and then played. Daddy and Scott took us to the fish aquarium, the visitor center, and the dam - we even took a tour! Mommy and Kim stayed back at the camp so Matt and Megan could nap. It started raining again while we were gone so we skipped the beach and ate supper out instead. Then we went go cart racing, mini golfing, on bumper boats and I rode the train before having ice cream for our bedtime snack! We were all fast asleep and Mommy and Daddy had 10 minutes of fire time when the big storm hit! Daddy raced to get us in the truck but it was done quickly - we still decided to sleep in Erkonen's camper though just to be safe.
6/23/2006	We went camping today at Lewis & Clark with Erkonens! We left right after breakfast and helped Daddy set up our tent when we got there - we had to check out Andrew and Abby's new camper too. Then after eating lunch, we all went to the beach and spent all afternoon swimming and playing in the sand. We came back to grill for supper, played at the campsite and park, had smores, and then got ready for bed. Mommy and Daddy were looking forward to an evening by the fire but RAIN came and ruined that. They laid in the tent for over an hour as it got windier and realized our tent was leaking (we were fast asleep and didn't even realize it) and finally decided they should just head home for a good night's sleep. So they put us in the truck and off we went - Callie and I hardly woke up at all.
6/22/2006	Callie and I played all morning and then after lunch I had to take my nap which made me very angry but once I laid down, I fell right asleep. Afterwards, we went to the wading pool - McKennen this time because they have a deeper section (2 feet vs 1 ft) and so Callie practiced her floating and had lots of fun. I went down the little slide over and over and then I got cold so I wanted to 'suntan' and made Mommy lay out my towel just right so I could lay down and get warm. We hurried home to make supper and then Daddy mowed while we played outside.
6/21/2006	We had to take Haley and Shelby to the vet today for their shots and to check Haley's owie on her tummy. The vet told Mommy we have to be even more careful on how many scoops of food they are getting because they are getting TOO BIG! After lunch Mommy took us to the library for a magic show - it was funny! We tried to go shopping after that but I kept doing the potty dance and couldn't go at the store (I tried though!) so Mommy decided it was time to head home. Of course I ended up never going potty anyway - I kept trying but I just can't relax so nothing happens when I try. I was in bed by 6:45 because I didn't nap so Mommy figures I went as soon as I fell asleep.
6/20/2006	We went shopping with Mommy this morning (although we compained the whole time - Callie hates shopping so I like to copy her and hate it too!) and then Mommy made us a quick lunch so we could head to the church for her meeting - she is going to teach Vacation Bible School! Callie and I played in the gym while they had their meeting and I even tried using the potty chair there (no luck though) and then we came home for a very late nap. Daddy came home from work so we could go to Kids Night but since I still hadn't went potty ALL DAY we waited to see if I would go but I refused. Finally we went and they just hoped I would use the bathrooms there - I tried a few times but I just got too scared. We saw Gillian & Adam there and Jason, Alyssa, and Abby too! At home we played and Mommy kept trying to get me to go potty - finally at 8:30 I went after lots of crying. I just don't think I like this potty thing.
6/19/2006	Callie had her six year pictures taken today and then Mommy took us out for lunch. We were all very tired and cranky so when we got home it was time for nap - Callie slept for two hours (I didn't of course). We had lots of fun afterwards - Mommy had our pool filled and the slip n slide set up in front of our slide. So we went down the slide and kept on going down the slip-n-slide! Then we had a wet sponge fight and we got Mommy good. Daddy came home and grilled and then it was time for my music class. I wasn't as shy this time but then when Miss Myra told us we would have a sub, Mr. Dell, next Monday I got quite upset and told Mommy I don't like boy workers! Daddy had taken Callie to gymnastics and she did a handstand against the wall! Mommy and I went on a bike ride and then they got home and it was time for bed.
6/18/2006	Happy Father's Day! Callie and I went with Mommy to get Daddy Taco John's breakfast - his favorite. Then he opened his gifts- I picked out a water gun for him, and we gave him Ramone (from Cars) and dress shirts for work. We mostly stayed home and played today since I was going to stay in undies all day. I tried using the potty chair at 3 but couldn't so I ended up holding it until 6pm! Mommy can't believe how I can do that but then I sat down and even took off my pants this time and went right away! They are sure excited that I am showing progress. We grilled steaks tonight (Daddy loves steak) and after supper we had baths and were in bed by 7:30 because we didn't nap today and we were still tired from Callie's party!
6/17/2006	It rained all day again so we didn't go to the beach like we planned. We played with all of Callie's new toys and I wore underwear all day! Finally at 5 I had to potty and like always I started to get scared and cry and want a diaper but this time Mommy and Daddy didn't give in. They were cleaning the garage so they brought the little potty chair out and told me to use it or not but they weren't going to get me a diaper. I cried and cried and then I couldn't stand up anymore because I knew it was going to come out so I sat on the chair. Mommy said I didn't even have to take my shorts off if I was scared. I carried on for 20 minutes but finally I did it! I was so proud of myself after they realized I stopped crying and saw that I went! When Mommy and Daddy were done cleaning and I got new shorts (since I didn't pull them down) we all went out to eat for an early Father's Day supper and we fed the ducks our leftover breadstick! One duck even ate out of my hand!
6/16/2006	Happy 6th Birthday Callie! She went to her last music class today - they visited Mexico and had a fiesta (chips and nacho cheese) and then made pinatas. Afterwards we helped Mommy get ready for the Survivor Party. It stormed so we set everything up in the garage instead. The kids got there and Daddy did face painting while Uncle Tom made hot dogs. We ate and then we played a water cup relay race, a balloon pop game, dug in buckets of goop for a toy bug, had a bug/yucky food challenge (I had to eat 'ants' which were cocoa pebbles and Callie had snake eyes), had cake and watched Callie open gifts and then finally we could smack the pinata. We all took a few turns but it was too hard to Uncle Tom finally hit it and then we all got our goodies and played in the confetti until the parents came. Callie opened our gifts afterwards and then we played two of her new games before bed. We were sure tired out!
6/15/2006	It was Callie's last day of swimming and she did an awesome job! She back floated by herself for 16 seconds and then she swam by herself for 5 feet so she can move on to the next level next year. Mommy took us to the coffee shop for muffins and then we played until lunch. Callie went to music and they visited England today so they had a tea party! They made crowns, 'crackers' (English party favors), and flowers. We went to the mall to do some Father's Day shopping and then we met Daddy at Chuck E Cheese for an early birthday celebration! Mommy and Daddy even let Callie open one gift - a kid's digital camera just for her to use! She took lots of pictures and then we had to get to bed early so we wouldn't be cranky for tomorrow.
6/14/2006	Callie floated on her back all by herself while the teacher counted to 10 today!! She has never done that before so we were excited. After swimming she had her dentist appointment - she was nervous because she has never had a filling and she had to get a crown. They said she did great though and she came out all happy and skipped over to us to show us her silver tooth. She went to music class after lunch - today they 'visited' Africa. They played on an elephant drum, had fruit for a snack, made masks and stamped fabric. After supper Daddy mowed so our yard would be all ready for Callie's party and then he put Callie to bed while Mommy and I went grocery shopping. We had to get lots of fruit because Callie wants Mommy to make the Watermelon Guy from Zoom again.
6/13/2006	After swimming lessons, we went to TotLot and Callie was excited to find her friend, Lauren there! We all played together -and when Lauren mentioned she wanted to have Callie over for a playdate this summer, Callie asked if I could come with too! Daddy picked Callie up again while I was napping to take her to music. She studied Japan today and had rice, jello, and goldfish for a snack - they even ate it with chopsticks! They made mini volcanos like Mt. Fugi and sang Japanese songs when we picked her up. We met Daddy at 5 for a work picnic and I played with a little boy my age there - it was fun! We had to get home early so Callie could go to bed but I stayed outside and watched Mommy finish staining the fence (well just the front part - she thinks she might be done already because it is taking too long!) I even got to watch some tv before bed and then I went to sleep all by myself for once - Mommy was happy to not have to lay with me since she was all messy from the stain!
6/12/2006	Callie woke up at 7:45 so she slept for 12 whole hours! I of course went to bed at 9:30 and still woke up before Callie at 7. We went to Callie's swimming lessons and then we came home so Mommy could start staining the fence. She stopped to make us lunch and tuck me in for a nap then went back to it - Daddy stopped to pick up Callie to take her to Music Camp (Music Around the World). Today they learned about Germany so she learned how to yodel, do the polka, she had pretzels for a snack, and then we came to pick her up and help her with crafts -a cuckoo bird and a hat. She also told us GutenTag when we came (good day)! We came back home so Mommy could stain MORE - she was very happy we played so nicely. After supper she took me to my music class (callie's gymnastics was cancelled for tonight so she and Daddy went for ice cream and then to bed early!). I was VERY shy the first half and wouldn't do anything but then I finally had fun and was upset when it was over.
6/11/2006	We went to the Zoo today and saw two baby antelopes that were just born a half hour before we got there! They were just trying to stand up and walk - it was pretty cute. We also saw the zoo's new anteater but it was rolled up in a ball so it was hard to see him. Then we decided to eat at McDonalds because they have the new CARs toys - I was wearing underwear just because Mommy thought maybe if I was in public I would use a potty chair - instead I just had an accident at McD's - so we ate at home instead of staying. I think Mommy is getting quite frustrated with me. Callie went to bed at 7:30 tonight because she has a big week so Mommy said she is going to need lots of sleep so she doesn't get worn out by Friday!
6/10/2006	We all slept in this morning and then we went to CARS at 10am! Afterwards there were people giving away CARS tatoos, stickers, and posters so Callie & I each got a bag of fun things. After my nap, Daddy took us to Sam's so Mommy could go birthday present shopping for Callie - she is going to be six soon!
6/9/2006	Callie doesn't have swimming on Fridays so we just had a lazy pajama morning while Mommy cleaned the house. After I napped we took our piggy bank money to Grandpa Robinson's bank - they even gave us Oreos while we waited and I chatted with another customer and told him that this bank was Grandpa's - he thought I was pretty cute. We met Daddy for supper after that and then came home to play. He did another volcano for us with pop and mentos - it shot up really high! We were supposed to go camping this weekend but the weatherman said it was going to storm and be cold so Mommy cancelled our plans and we might go to the movie tomorrow instead!
6/8/2006	After Callie had swimming, we went to Tot Lot! We made necklaces with fruit loops and licorice, played with the parachute and other games, and then just played in the park - it was fun. They told us next time they will be fingerpainting so I hope we can go back. Callie and I took naps again today - Mommy can't believe that two days in a row, with both me and Callie having the same bedtime and wake up time she sleeps twice as long as me! Mommy is sure hoping that when Callie gets her tonsils out she won't need nearly as much sleep. Tonight Daddy picked us up after work for a quick supper at Burger King and then we went to daycare so Mommy could watch him play darts. We were very excited because Gillian and Adam were going to try it out for the very first time - we had LOTS of fun and when they came to pick us up, we didn't want to go home!
6/7/2006	Callie did a good job in swimming - she is getting braver letting the teacher let go of her for a little bit while she floats! We had to go shopping afterwards and then came home and took a nap so we could go swimming. We spent the afternoon at the wading pool but it started getting cloudy and cool at 4 so we left BUT Mommy realized she locked her car keys inside the car (she had grabbed the truck keys and put those in the pool bag but we didn't have the truck - oops!) She doesn't take her phone in either so we had to borrow the pool phone to call Daddy - he didn't answer so we left a message and played at the park hoping he would come get us. At 5 we headed back to the car and waited on a bench - finally he came and got us! Daddy said he didn't answer because it said "blocked" on his phone so he figured it wasn't important and he waited until 5 to listen to his voice mail. I guess they learned their lesson today!
6/6/2006	Callie had swimming lessons again today and luckily I felt much better so we went to a puppet show at the library afterwards! It was pretty funny so Callie and I laughed a lot. We ate our lunch on the deck and after my nap we painted the treat bags for Callie's birthday party.
6/5/2006	Grandpa's bank opened in Sioux Falls today! Grandma came with us to watch Callie's first day of swimming lessons (she was nervous but did great) and then afterwards we dropped her off at the bank so she and Grandpa could head home. I woke up this morning with a fever and then this afternoon I coughed so hard I threw up so Mommy said I had to miss my first music class tonight. Callie went to gymnastics and practiced the balance beam, summersaults, and tried to do cartwheels and stand on her hands. She had fun but she was coughing a lot afterwards so I guess she isn't all the way better yet either. Mommy feels bad we are sick during our summer break and sure hopes we get better soon!
6/4/2006	We played all morning and after my nap we got ready to go visit a new credit card business. Grandpa and Daddy went first so they could talk to the important people and we went later so we could walk around and eat a cookie (by far the best part!). Grandma treated us to ice cream after that and then we played at the park while we waited for Daddy and Grandpa to get back (they had to go see the bank before it opens tomorrow!) We ordered pizza and played outside while we waited then we had to take a quick shower and get to bed early because Callie starts swimming lessons tomorrow morning.
6/3/2006	We played while Daddy mowed (Mommy went to work) and then when we woke up from our nap, Grandma and Grandpa Robinson were here! We decided to go shopping right away so I went with Daddy and Grandpa to Sams Club and Mommy and Callie went with Grandma to look for clothes and a birthday present for Callie -she got to pick out her own toy! She picked a cabbage patch doll with hair that changes colors! Then we came home and got ready for supper and afterwards played outside all evening.
6/2/2006	Callie still didn't feel that well so we stayed home and I went through the sprinkler while she colored in the shade. I helped Mommy make a salad and cake while she napped too! Uncle Tom came over for supper and Daddy grilled Luau hamburgers that Callie helped make at the cooking center - they all said they were yummy but I just stuck to my hot dog. We had cake for dessert - yummy! Then we went for bike ride when Uncle Tom went home.
6/1/2006	Callie woke up with a sore throat so Mommy said it was good timing since she already had a Dr. appt with the special throat doctor. He told Mommy that her tonsils are pretty big and he thinks it might be a good idea to take them out. Callie was pretty scared at first but now she thinks it will be ok - plus they gave us both toys for being so good! We took a nap so we would be all rested for our big night tonight. Daddy grilled and went to darts and we went to the RibFest to see Joan Jett! Daddy was able to meet us there and we saw Gillian and Adam there too. I was getting pretty tired by the end of the concert but Callie had a great time - she even saw Mrs. Davids and talked to her for awhile! We tried deep fried oreos and then we had to go home because it was 11pm!
5/31/2006	Happy Birthday Grandpa Robinson! Callie slept in until 9am this morning - Mommy could hardly believe it. We had to hurry to get to the library and although we got there before the show started, there were too many people and they wouldn't let anymore come in for it so I was VERY upset. We checked out new books instead and then since Mommy had packed us a picnic lunch we went to the park to meet Daddy and we ate together. After supper Daddy put our new shower head on and we took a shower - it is really neat because Mommy can hold it so we don't get water in our eyes. I didn't cry at all and Mommy said it will be great for the summer so we can take quick showers at night to get all the dirt off us!
5/30/2006	Mommy stained the swingset today so Callie and I played and then after lunch we both napped since we were quite tired from our weekend. Mommy decided it would be a great day to swim when we woke up so we went to the wading pool - I was nervous at first but of course Callie was jumping all around and finally I even tried walking on my arms just like Callie! We helped Mommy make a homemade pizza and then Daddy took us to the toy store to spend Callie's horse money while Mommy finished staining. I picked out a Barbie baby doctor that came with two little babies and Callie picked out a fairy Barbie from Mermaidia! Callie told Mommy today that she is sure glad she doesn't have to go to school. She was also worried Mommy might forget our new bedtime (9pm!) so she thought she should write it down because summer is a LONG time and she doesn't want her to forget!
5/29/2006	We went out for breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey this morning (without Mommy and Daddy!) and then we went to visit Great Grandma Ivey. We came back to get Mommy and Daddy before heading out to Daddy's Aunt Kim's house for Ashlynne's birthday party. She turned three just like me and had a yummy Dora cake. Callie was very anxious to go to the horse races after that so we met Grandma and Grandpa Robinson there (but Uncle Chuck couldn't make it). I picked a horse for the first race and then fell asleep after that so Callie picked horses for the next two races and both of them won! She won $33! She said she would share her winnings with me though so we each get to pick out one new toy tomorrow!! Callie even saw a horse throw off his rider and run away - he broke though the race fence and kept on running so she thought that was funny. We headed home after that and we were tired!
5/28/2006	We went to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's today. We helped them plant sunflowers before lunch and then took a nap before the party started (we celebrated Grandpa and Uncle Chuck's birthdays today). Mommy's cousins, Randy and Jim were there AND Chad, Jeni & their kids came over too! We played games outside and played in the sand after supper and cake. Grandpa did some fireworks and I told him I wasn't even scared of them anymore! After everyone left we sat in the hot tub while Grandpa did more fireworks and then we had to put on our pjs and head back for bed.
5/27/2006	We went to Aberdeen today as soon as we woke up! We ate lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey and went to Wylie to feed baby geese and ride the carousel before running through her sprinkler. Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin came over for supper and then we played and watched tv while Mommy and Daddy went to visit friends.
5/26/2006	Mommy took us out for donuts to celebrate our first day of summer vacation. We played outside once we got back home and then I took a nap while Callie read some stories. It was very hot out so Mommy filled out little swimming pool and we played in that for awhile and then Daddy came home to grill and mow the lawn.
5/25/2006	It was Callie's last day of school!! Mommy was busy packing a present for Mrs. Davids and some candy bars Mrs. Davids had asked Mommy to buy so although she asked Callie if she wanted a sack lunch she forgot to make it! She remembered at 8 so we had to hurry and make it and drive it to school before Callie got too upset about it (Mommy was afraid she would start crying when she opened her backpack and saw it wasn't there) but she wasn't too upset. She had told a dad about it who passed us on the way in and told us he heard all about it! She was very happy and gave Mommy lots of hugs. After school we picked up Callie and went to Adam's birthday party!! He is two now and had a farm party so we played farm games. We even got rides in a 'tractor' (they decorated their wagon). Daddy met us at home for a quick supper and then he left for darts and we played and read stories before bed.
5/24/2006	I went to bed last night at 6:30 and Mommy still had to wake me up at 7:30 this morning so we could take Daddy to work! Callie took a sack to school so she could bring home all her school supplies. Mommy and I went shopping and she realized her road rage has been passed on to me because while we were impatiently waiting for another car I told her "lets crash it!" Then while she was putting me in my car seat and I was having a fit because I wanted to be in Callie's booster I told her "Daddy lets me sit in Callie's booster - he's a pretty good guy" She found that very amusing! We picked up Daddy from work and he took us on a tour since we hadn't been to his new place yet - it was sure neat.
5/23/2006	Mommy let us sleep in and when Callie woke up she felt better and really wanted to go to her Zoo Day - especially because Derek had never been on a bus before so she wanted to show him how it worked! Mommy got us ready and we dropped Callie off (late) at school & then she had pick up all the equipment for the park part of Callie's Zoo Day (Mommy has been working on this for awhile!) I went to Dena's house and then she headed to the park to set up all the stations. She had parents meet her and she gave them all jobs to do and finally the kids arrived from the zoo very hungry! Another mom had organized the lunch and they had pizza, fruit, cookies, and water. Then it was time for the games - the kids had lots of fun but boy was it hot out! Afterwards everyone sat down for another cookie and then time to go back to school to get ready to go home. Mommy came and picked me up (I had a great time too - we had a picnic lunch and played lots!) and we headed home for a very quiet evening.
5/22/2006	Callie woke up a lot last night so Mommy was afraid she was getting sick and sure enough she said she had a sore throat this morning but she said it wasn't very bad and since she didn't have a fever Mommy let her go to school. We went too because it was track and field day but when we got there to watch, Callie just cried and didn't want to do any of the activities so finally Mommy decided she was sicker than she realized and brought her home. My dr appt was this morning - I was very scared and didn't want to do anything the dr asked me. They were able to find out that I am 37 inches tall and weigh 28lbs though. The dr looked at Callie too and decided to give her special medicine to help her get better. We came home and ate lunch and all took a nap. After our nap we played in the sandbox with our new BLUE sand and Mommy washed down the whole fence and deck - she wants to stain them soon.
5/21/2006	We all slept in until 8 so Mommy and Daddy were quite impressed. We got ready and went out for brunch and then went shopping and came home and we all took a nap! Afterwards we played lots of games - I am pretty good at Hi Ho Cherry O now. Mommy had to work this afternoon so we went and Daddy watched us play at the playland. I am still very difficult at bedtime - I insist on Mommy laying with me and scream and cry if she leaves so Mommy is hoping with summer and swimming I will be more tired and not fight it so much - we will see!
5/20/2006	We didn't sleep in of course so Mommy is pretty sure tomorrow we are going to be real stinkers becasue we were up late again tonight (well actually I already was one today!) Callie went to her friend's birthday party (she lives so close Mommy walked to pick her up!) and while she was gone our neighbor and Daddy rescued a cat who is now under our car in the garage. A worker came to pick it up but she couldn't get it and said eventually it would leave our garage but Mommy isn't so sure. She thinks it is a house cat that escaped because it seems very tame but very very scared. After my very short nap we went out to Andrew and Abby's house and jumped on their brand new trampoline and we went through the sprinkler too! They grilled and we ate supper together and had ice cream cones - it was a fun night.
5/19/2006	Lately Callie has been asking if she can go barefoot when we go outside and I always tell her 'I am already food-feeted' and I also like to wear my 'bottle-cap' (ball cap) too - Mommy thinks my words are pretty funny! Today was my graduation at school and Mommy couldn't believe that I chose my very last day to cry and not want her to go. She only left for a little bit because parents had to come back early and even Daddy came to watch me put on my neat hat and get my gift from Cathy! Then they took me out to lunch at McDonalds. We picked up Callie and went to the library and then came home to run through the sprinkler because it was hot out. After supper we went to the drive-in to watch Over The Hedge - we had a lot of fun!
5/18/2006	I forgot to tell you that Callie's school ate outside again yesterday AND her class made autograph books and had all their friends sign their names in them. Mommy and I were going to go on a bike ride and go to the library today but I had lots of temper tantrums so we ended up not going anywhere - I even got so mad I threw my lunch on the floor so then I had to go to bed without any lunch. It was a LONG day. Mommy keeps asking me if I am sure I'm not two again because she thinks I am acting like it. Callie went to a school talent show this morning and she said there were gymanstics girls in it and lots of other people too. It sure sounded neat! After Callie came home I played nicely with her and we ate ice cream cones outside. We ate supper outside too when Daddy came home and then it was time for him to go to darts and us to go to bed.
5/17/2006	We made flower puzzles in school today and played in a different room because ours was all messy. Mommy and I ate lunch outside and then I was supposed to nap but it was just so nice out that I didn't want to so we finally gave up and went across the street to play with our neighbor's new puppy instead. After we picked up Callie we went to the nursery to pick out flowers and came home and helped Mommy plant them. I started getting very tired and cranky so Mommy made us an early supper (before Daddy even got home) and then I told her I wanted to go to bed. Of course I woke back up at 7:30 just as Callie was going to bed!
5/16/2006	Callie was very excited for today because they celebrated her birthday in school! Mommy made cat cookies for her to take and Callie reminded Mommy to make room in her bookcase since Mrs. Davids gives them a book for their gift. Mommy and I went on a long bike ride this morning and played outside a lot since it was finally sunny out! After school Callie and I played outside more and Mommy read us her new book. Daddy came home and grilled and then we had to get ready for bed - I had a hard time going to sleep since it was still so light out but finally I fell asleep.
5/15/2006	Mommy was very surprised how opposite her day was today - we were tired and cranky so it was LONG and stressful. I threw a huge tantrum at the grocery store because I wanted Mommy to go back to the beginning and push the cart with me in it but she just put me in and pushed from the middle instead of starting over - I did NOT like that. Then this afternoon Callie and I fought over everything! Oh we picked up Callie early today for her doctor's check-up too - she is 41lbs and 44 1/2 inches tall - so Daddy said she can ride rollercoasters now! Mommy and the doctor decided it was time to go to a new special tonsil doctor for Callie to see what they suggest because Callie snores a lot and needs so much sleep so in a couple of weeks she has to go see him. I have to go back next week for my three year check up too!
5/14/2006	Happy Mother's Day! Daddy, Callie, and I went to get Mommy coffee and donuts and then when she came down we gave her our presents! Mommy was pretty impressed to find out that one of them (a new hamper) was my idea. Mommy's is all broken and she complains about it but she never told me to get her a new one - I just decided to tell Daddy that is what we should get her. We went out for lunch in Harrisburg, a little town close to us, and then after my nap, we flew our kites and headed to the kite festival! It started raining so we had to go home and Daddy made us supper and then it was time for bed.
5/13/2006	Mommy and Callie went to the cooking center again so Daddy and I went to Sams and out for lunch at Uncle Tom's restaurant - he came and talked to us too. Then I went with Daddy to his old work (revonet) so he could do some things to help them move upstairs. Mommy and Callie ate out too and then they came to pick me up so I could go home and take a nap. We grilled the kabobs that Callie made today (she poked all the vegetables on herself!) and then we had popcorn and watched Survivor since Mommy had recorded it for us. Callie is having a Survivor birthday party so we have to get some good game ideas!
5/12/2006	Today we made Mommy a present in school! We picked up Callie and she had a present for her too - but she is saving hers (I gave mine to Mommy right away!). Callie was so excited because her reading contest ended today - her goal was 80 books and she read 121! We met Jason, Alyssa, Tanner, and Abby for supper tonight and then they came over to play.
5/11/2006	Mommy decided to clean our house today and she was very proud of me for playing by myself and staying out of her way all day long! After we picked up Callie we had to wrap Andrew's present and then head to his party at the Pizza Ranch. It was fun - but Callie thought the 6 boys were a little wild when they were playing basketball so she and I came back to find Mommy. Then we all played arcade games just like at Chuck E Cheese and we even picked out prizes too!
5/10/2006	We talked about gardens in school and we played outside instead of the gym today! Olivia's daddy was the helper so we chased him all around and I told Mommy he could even crawl through our tunnels! Daddy took us out for supper tonight while Mommy went to work and then we went shopping but we can't tell Mommy what for.
5/9/2006	Mommy and I went on a bike ride this morning and headed to Walgreens to get some more hooks for our toys. On the way back we stopped at a park to play and I kept telling Mommy all the things that were different from 'our' park. We ate lunch outside in my little tent and then it was naptime and I went to sleep without too much arguing! Callie and I played outside some more and we finished painting our caterpillar before supper. Mommy had a PTA meeting so Daddy gave us baths and put us to bed (after Callie read us 6 books!).
5/8/2006	Alex's dad called last night and asked if he could give Callie a ride to school since he was taking Alex (they usually ride the bus together) so she was excited for him to pick her up! Mommy and I stayed home so she could work around the house and I was so tired at naptime that I went up to bed by myself - I sure surprised Mommy! Unfortunately I only slept an hour and woke up pretty grumpy. Callie and I played outside while Daddy and Mommy worked in the yard and then we all went for a bike ride before bed. Callie fell down in school today and got bad owies on her elbow and knee but the teacher put band-aids on them.
5/7/2006	Today was Zoo Day! We packed up and went to the zoo this morning - we decided to see the elephants first and then the gorillas! I loved the baby! We ate lunch at the monkey restuarant and then saw more animals until I got so tired I could hardly stay awake. We left at 3 and Callie and I fell asleep before Daddy even got on the highway! We ate supper in Sioux Falls before heading home to unpack and take our baths. We had a hard time falling asleep but finally by 9 we were both out - and Mommy was too because she had to lay with me!
5/6/2006	We didn't sleep in (surprise surprise) because we were too excited to eat in the "breakfik" room - Callie and I love this part of motels. Finally we were packed back up and ready to play at the Children's Museum. We ate a late lunch afterwards and then headed to Omaha - Callie and I both napped on the way. Mommy wanted to do some shopping at a mall close to Buca's where we were going to eat supper but we found out Buca's closed! Mommy was sad but we went and checked in our motel so she could watch the Derby and Daddy and I went to the zoo to watch the NASCAR 3D movie! Callie and Mommy went swimming while we were gone and when we came back I joined them and Daddy ordered pizza - it didn't get to our room until almost 8pm so we were starving by then! We ate in our pjs and watched some tv and then went to bed.
5/5/2006	We made big flowers in school today with the stems as long as us to show how much we have grown! I grew 1 1/4 inch since school started in September. Mommy went and got Callie at 11 from school and so she came with Mommy to pick me up today! We went home and finished packing the car and then went and got gas and subs to put in our cooler for supper and went back home to pick up Daddy and we were off to Lincoln! I fell asleep before we even finished getting gas and when I woke up Callie was sleeping and we were only an hour away from our motel. We had eaten subs in the car so we went swimming right away and then dried off and walked over to a restuarant for dessert - yummy! It was 10 before we went to bed so Mommy hopes we will sleep in.
5/4/2006	We had storytime again today and I was so excited because my friend Abby was there! She had quit Kingdom Kids because they moved to South Carolina but they just came back to get the last of their stuff ready for the movers. Gilian and Adam came too so I had lots of friends there. It was the last one until fall - but they have some puppet shows this summer so that will be fun and Callie can come with too! I took a good nap today (maybe because I was up until 10 last night arguing with Mommy about not wanting to go to bed!). Callie and I played all afternoon and then Callie had to go to bed early because she was tired and tomorrow morning is Pastries for Parents at 7am - she is really excited and I am too because that means I get a donut for breakfast - yummy!
5/3/2006	I had school today and we talked about flowers - we even painted a big 'mural' on paper of flowers that Cathy is going to hang in our classroom. Mommy helped at Callie's school again while I was there by listening to more kids read books. After she picked me up we went to the mall to buy Daddy more work shirts and to pick up my pictures - I fell asleep on the way home so Mommy didn't have to battle naptime with me! We played outside after school and practiced riding our bikes.
5/2/2006	Mommy and I got ready to go ride our bikes but when we went outside it started raining again! So I was very upset but Mommy reminded me we would be going to eat lunch with Callie today so then I was excited. They had pizza and Mommy and I shared a tray - it was fun except I wasn't happy that Callie didn't come home with us afterwards. I was difficult about napping again but finally fell asleep watching tv close to 2 and then Mommy had to wake me at 2:30 to get Callie but I slept in the car on the way there and back so I got a little more sleep. We played outside and after supper we walked to the park with Daddy and Mommy to go watch t-ball practice. Alex told Callie he would be there and Daddy said all the boys were telling him how excited they were it started tonight when he was helping at school today. After practice Callie and I played with Alex and then we had to come home to take baths and Daddy went to the doctor - he has another sinus infection.
5/1/2006	Happy May Day! Mommy forgot about today so she didn't have any candy around to make May Day Baskets but one of Callie's friends brought them to school for everyone and she shared with me. I finally practiced sitting on the potty chair today so Mommy was very proud. We played outside today after school. I didn't want to nap today and when we came inside for supper Mommy thought I went upstairs to play but she couldn't find me when it was time to eat. She ran to all the bedrooms and playroom yelling my name but no luck. She had Callie go out back and she went in the garage and still couldn't find me. She was getting scared and went inside to think - then she saw me slumped over my little table! I had been coloring and I fell asleep. I slept from 5-8, woke up to eat a sandwich and fell back asleep at 9 for the night!
4/30/2006	It rained all day again today and Mommy was getting quite annoyed with me and Callie because we were fighting a lot! I refused to take a nap but when Mommy and Daddy decided to run to Home Depot both Callie and I fell asleep - it was a good thing too because we went to Daddy's friends house tonight instead of last night. They grilled us supper and Gillian and Adam were there too so we played! Uncle Tom was going to come too when it was last night but since it got changed he couldn't make it. I was trying to play with Eric's cat there but it was grumpy and Eric said it was because he had just driven in a car for three hours so I said "but he doesn't even have hands" and he thought I was pretty funny!
4/29/2006	It rained all day today! Callie and I napped because we were supposed to go to a grown up party with Mommy and Daddy tonight but then it was cancelled so we just stayed up late and watched a movie instead.
4/28/2006	We watched a movie today in Kingdom Kids about Queen Esther and then we made crowns. Callie was pretty upset when we picked her up from school today - she said she had a horrible day. Mrs. Davids was sick and they had a sub so Mommy thinks the sub wasn't very nice but Callie didn't want to talk about it. It was rainy and dreary all day so Mommy decided we needed cheering up so we went to a new restuarant and met Daddy there. They had fancy kids drinks - Callie picked a Ring A Ling Ding which was orange syrup with Sprite and gummy bears! I didn't want any of those once I heard they had pink milk so I just had that. We had to stop at the phone store so Mommy and Daddy could get new cell phones (mommy got a pink one!) and then we went home and Mommy set up the tent so we could have a camp-out in the living room (daddy slept in his bed though because he wasn't feeling well).
4/27/2006	Callie and I had dentist appointments this morning! Callie found out she has her first cavity so she is very sad about it. I found out that when the ball hit me in the mouth my two front teeth got hurt a lot more than anyone realized so now we have to watch them very closely in case they turn even a darker grey than they already are. Callie was quite anxious to get back to school - she didn't want to be too late and after we dropped her off, we went to pick up Mommy's vacuum and then we stopped at the coffee store. Mommy got me a muffin and she had coffee - that was fun! Finally it was time for storytime at the library. Afterschool, Mommy put our bikes in the truck and took us to Dena's so we could all ride together and then we played outside all afternoon. At supper we all met Daddy at Jimmy Johns and then Daddy and Brad went to their first night of summer darts and we went home for bedtime.
4/26/2006	It was pet day at my school today so Cathy brought her dog! We talked about all our pets and we made doggie biscuits - I am going to save mine for Augie! Mommy went to help at Callie's school while I was at Kingdom Kids - she listened to some kids read books. Callie was sad at first that she wasn't one of them but Mommy told her she has so many bows already and some of her friends needed to catch up so then she was ok. I ate lunch outside with Mommy when we got home and then after Callie came home we took our bikes down to the church parking lot and practiced riding. Daddy mowed when he got home and Mommy made supper and we ate outside again and then it was time for baths!
4/25/2006	Daddy had to work late so Mommy made us a quick supper and then we went to the mall so she could meet her friend there. We played at the playland until Daddy picked us up and then we had to stop at Jason's to get a computer part on the way home. It was too late for baths tonight so we just went right to bed after Callie read us a book - she has read 40 already!
4/24/2006	Mommy and I cleaned out the car this morning - well I played while she did this but brrrr it was chilly today! I took a nap all by myself without too much complaining today and then it was time to get Callie. We had to go to the mall and when we came home our power went out. Mommy was going to have supper all ready when Daddy got home so we could hurry to the art show at Callie's school but the power didn't come back on so we had to meet Daddy at Qdoba instead (of course Mommy had to figure out how to get out of the garage first!). Callie's art room had a big bubble we could go in and it was all decorated with paper flowers like a garden - I was scared at first but it was neat. Then she showed us her paintings on the wall and we had ice cream in her lunch room after we shopped the book fair!
4/23/2006	Callie and I helped Mommy make monkeybread this morning and then we hurried to play outside! Mommy made us sandwiches at lunch so we could eat outside (she was busy cleaning the garage) and finally she convinced us we had to take a nap so we could go to the circus tonight! It was very loud. Callie really loved it and laughed and clapped all the time - I liked some parts but I started getting restless and tired of it all so Daddy and I had to take lots of breaks to get food and toys of course. Then at half time Callie really wanted to get her picture taken with the snake and I did too! I even told Mommy after the circus that that was my favorite part. The snake was draped over our shoulders like a necklace - Mommy could NOT believe I did it - or Callie either for that matter!
4/22/2006	It was super nice today so we played outside. When it was time for my nap, Mommy and Callie went grocery shopping because Callie's class had decorated grocery bags for Earth Day and she was hoping to get someones she knew but they had run out already! After my nap, Cason and Colin came over to play and then we all went out for supper. Callie saw her friend, Caden, at the restuarant so they kept talking and then he came over and gave her a hug before he left. She told Mommy the other day that he loved her and wanted to marry her! We came back home after supper and played outside - I rode my bike over and over and then I drove the jeep in big circles. Callie's friend Alex F, rode his scooter by with his Mommy and so they stopped to talk. Then Daddy called us in for malts and it was time for bed.
4/21/2006	Happy Birthday Aunt Bridget!! I am still on my Easter Break so I didn't have school again today so we just stayed home - Mommy was hoping I would nap early so I would be all ready for Callie's school circus at 2 but I didn't nap at all. We met Daddy and Uncle Tom at the school and found a spot to watch all the kindergarteners. Callie was a dog, Derek was a monkey, and Kathrine was a horse rider. They sang lots of songs - it was a great circus! Daddy had to go back to work but afterwards Uncle Tom met us again for supper and then it was time for bed - especially for me because I was getting quite tired and cranky!
4/20/2006	We had to take Mommy's vacuum to the fix it shop today and I was very sad about leaving it there. Then we went to storytime at the library and Gillian & Adam were there too. It started to rain when we went to pick up Callie so Mommy had to get out the umbrella but I told her I wanted to pretend I was showering so I just ran in the rain. Mommy had to go to a party so Daddy gave us a bath and put us to bed - Callie had a hard time saying good-bye to Mommy. I guess she was very tired because she cried a lot!
4/19/2006	I had my pictures taken today and Mommy was quite impressed with how well I did! We ate lunch at the mall afterwards and since it was 12:30 and I was still awake we decided to go pick up Callie. She got out at 1 but Mommy had told her to ride the bus, thinking I would be napping, so she was very excited to see us. I had to nap when we got home so Mommy and Callie played a few games and read books together. She has read 25 books already and her class has read 300 so far! Their kites have lots of bows on them and if they reach their goal, they get a pizza AND ice cream party. Daddy had a Darts meeting tonight but he got home before I went to sleep so he gave me a hug and kiss. I asked him if he drank beer and he wondered if he smelled like it so I told him "no you smell like smokin!" He thought that was pretty smart of me since he was at a bar and it was very smokey there!
4/18/2006	Mommy had a dentist appointment this morning so I went to play at Gillian's house! We played dress up, barbies, and a new bingo game they have - it was fun! We picked Callie up from school and saw the clown she painted hanging in the hallway - she told Mrs. Davids that I used to be scared of clowns but I don't think I am anymore. The circus is this weekend so I guess we will find out!
4/17/2006	Daddy and Callie had today off so we all went shopping this morning. After lunch Mommy and I took a nap together (since I don't have a paci anymore, I sleep better with someone - Mommy and Daddy aren't sure they like this development!) Mommy and Callie played lots of games this afternoon while I went shopping again with Daddy (I love to shop but Callie really hates it). Daddy grilled our supper and then we watched our new movie, Mermaidia, before bed.
4/16/2006	Happy Easter! Callie was very excited so she woke up at 6:30, a little bit after me and when she remeinded me the Easter Bunny came there was no going back to sleep for me! He hid lots and lots of eggs all over the house with jelly beans inside them and our baskets were hidden too - we were so involved in finding our eggs that we didn't even stop to look at our baskets for very long but when we did we saw we had ribbon twirlers, a movie, books, new floaties, a brush & comb set, bath fizzies, markers, and a chocolate bunny! Daddy made us cinnamon rolls and we just played all day. Mommy made us both take naps and then we played some more until we went out for supper. We had time to watch a little bit of our movie before bed.
4/15/2006	We took Grandma and Grandpa to the zoo this morning! The monkeys were really loud and their throats blew up like balloons when they talked - I told them good-bye when we left and that I hoped their throats felt better soon. We ate out for lunch and then came home to take naps except I refused again - Mommy is really hoping I get back to normal soon but I am not sure I am going to. Grandma and Grandpa left for home this afternoon and we played until supper and then got ready for bed - but first we had to set out carrots and our baskets for the Easter Bunny! Callie is very excited and told me all about how he left jelly beans in the eggs last time but I am not so sure about it - I had to ask Mommy if he was a mean bunny but she said he was very nice and even friends with Santa!
4/14/2006	We picked Grandma up and went sandal shopping this morning - both Callie and I found new ones!! I took a nap after lunch so I missed the ice cream truck but Grandma bought me a treat and saved it. When I woke up, Mommy had hid lots of Easter Eggs outside for us to find. Then Mommy and I went to see Grandpa's bank but Callie stayed home to play with Grandma. When Daddy got off work, we grilled suppper and played outside because it was super nice out. We even went out for ice cream for our bedtime snack!
4/13/2006	Mommy and I went to the motel to pick up Grandma Robinson this morning and took her to my storytime at the library - I showed her how I do all the dances! We came home for lunch and I finally took a nap (not very long of course) and then we played outside until it was time to get Callie from school. Callie showed her the kite she is making and we met Mrs. Davids' cat too because she got to visit Callie's class today! Then Callie showed Grandma the art room, computer lab, music room, lunch room, and the gym. Then we went back to the motel to swim until suppertime. It was sure fun! We went home with Daddy so he could make us supper and he took us out for ice cream too to celebrate the start of Callie's Easter break. Mommy and Grandma had a girls night out (and Grandpa was still in meetings).
4/12/2006	Mommy was my helper today so we took our nests we made and some leftover cupcakes too from my party. We had an Easter Egg Hunt, made butterflies, and played outside since it was so nice out! Callie started working on her circus program that all the kindergarten classes will be performing for us next Friday - she gets to be a dog and her friend is the dog trainer. Callie was Student of the Day today too - she was very happy about that. AND it was so nice they ate their lunches outside today! We played outside all afternoon until Daddy came home - I am getting very good at making baskets in my hoop and Callie is quite good at her new scoop and ball game she plays with Mommy!
4/11/2006	Mommy and I went shopping this morning and since we saw Daddy left his lunchbag on the counter we delivered that to his car too! I refused to nap and Mommy was getting very upset - she was going to take us to the zoo after Callie got home but said she wouldn't if I didn't lay down so we didn't get to go. We did make Easter Nests with JellyBean eggs though - yummy! Our neighbor Jackie came over and brought me a present too. We helped Mommy vote and then I picked McDonalds Playland for my birthday supper (although I didn't really get that it was my birthday - in fact when a few people told me Happy Birthday I said 'I am having a birthday AGAIN?") I was super cranky though so we came home and I had to go to bed right after my very quick bath so I was asleep by 6:30! And Callie was pretty tired today too so she was asleep by 7.
4/10/2006	Callie woke up this morning crying that she didn't want to go to school so Mommy felt bad. But after she was dressed and had breakfast she didn't say anything about it so I guess she forgot. Mommy and I played outside a lot since it was so nice and I practiced riding my bike - I am getting quite good at it! After supper, Daddy took all of our bikes to the gas station to fill them up with air and then we went on a bike ride around our neighborhood. Callie rode really well - except she still wants to get off her bike to turn corners which drives Mommy and Daddy crazy! I ride on Mommy's seat and told her how fun it was to go fast. I am still without a paci - I napped in Mommy's room today to make me feel better but I was only able to sleep for an hour. Mommy is still quite proud of how well I am doing though and she figures it will get better.
4/9/2006	Well I couldn't fall asleep last night so I came back down (but I never asked for my paci!) and watched tv with Mommy until 9 and then she laid with me in her bed so I went all night without it! Of course naptime was a different story - I cried and wanted it back so Mommy just had me go outside to play. Then she decided it would be a good time to get Daddy's car (he brought a taxi home last night) and sure enough I fell asleep on the way home. BUT I woke right up and demanded my paci when she carried me to bed so it was quite a short nap. We played and watched tv and after a bath I went to bed at 7:30 without too much fuss. Oh and I almost forgot - we died Easter Eggs this morning!
4/8/2006	My birthday party was today! We went and got donuts this morning and came back so I could open my gifts. We played for a little bit and then it was time for my nap so Grandma and Grandpa went shopping. When I woke up, we ate some lunch and then my friends came over! We played, put on my new make-up, hunted for Cinderella's missing shoes, had cake and ice cream (shaped like crowns!), opened more gifts, and then played outside! It was a fun party but wow I was sure tired out. We went out for supper with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey before they left town and then came home and got ready for bed. I even remembered that I was supposed to throw my paci away because I am three now so I did that and went to bed. Mommy is anxious to see if I actually go to sleep or not without it!
4/7/2006	We talked about birds in Kingdom Kids today and sang a cute birdie song for our moms and dads when they came to pick us up. We had three inches of rain last night so lots of parks were flooded by our house! And Callie said 20 teachers were gone at her school today too - she had two different subs. Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came to our house before supper and so did Uncle Tom so we all ate out together. Mommy showed me the cake she made me for my party tomorrow and I kept asking her if my party was today - I am sure excited!
4/6/2006	Mommy and I went to storytime at the library and I was getting upset because none of my friends were there. Then after it started (and all the kids were quietly listening) Ethan showed up so I yelled "mommy my friend is here now!" Afterwards we stopped to get lunch and then went to Dena's house to get her vacuum because Mommy's broke this morning! It was still really nice when Callie came home so we walked to the park to play and after supper Callie was so tired that Mommy made me and Daddy go run errands so she could have her go to bed at 7. Daddy and I went out for ice cream after shopping - yummy!
4/5/2006	We talked about nests and eggs today in Kingdom Kids and Cathy told Mommy that I bounced on the big blue ball today (the first time I even went near it since last month when it hit me in the nose!) so Mommy was very proud of me and I told her I didn't even get hurt this time. It was super nice out today so when Callie came home we played outside until 6 when Daddy got home. We like to play Little House on the Prairie - I like to be Mary so I can be the big girl! Callie has been having Daddy check her teeth every night to see if any are loose yet (none are) so I like to check mine too! It sure has been hard to go to bed at 7:30 lately - I keep telling Mommy it isn't even dark yet!!
4/4/2006	Callie went back to school today although after she saw how sunny it was she told Mommy she wished it was Saturday and then she changed her mind and said she just wished it was summer. After we picked Callie up we drove the jeep all around the block - Mommy had to jog to keep up with us because we were fast! We met Daddy at Gigglebees for supper to celebrate Callie's great report card and they even gave her extra tokens there (we had to show them it!). I didn't remember ever being there and I yelled when I saw Garfield hanging by our table because I was so excited. I really like him now that I saw his movie again. I also told everyone in the whole restuarant (since Daddy says I have only have one volume and that is LOUD) that I wasn't afraid of Wilbur at all!
4/3/2006	Callie was all ready to go to school and she threw up! I ran and told Daddy because Mommy was busy with Callie and Daddy was waiting in the garage to walk Callie out to the bus. So she stayed home and watched tv but by lunchtime she felt better and ate with us. After a nap she said she was fine and played outside with us because it was super nice!
4/2/2006	Callie and I went shopping with Daddy today and after my nap, we played and watched Survivor! Mommy started getting things ready for my party - I am sure excited. Of course Mommy thinks when I turn three I am going to throw away my paci and diapers but I am not so sure. . .
4/1/2006	Happy April 'Forls' Day! We sure had fun fooling each other today! Mommy and Daddy went outside right away this morning to give all our bushes a 'haircut' so I played in the sandbox. Then I went with Daddy to go get a trailer to load up all the branches while Callie got ready for her friend's birthday party. It was at the gymnastics academy and she had a lot of fun! We all took the trailer back and then went out for supper.
3/31/2006	We talked about Ants today at Kingdom Kids! Mommy went to Callie's school while I was there and put up an April bulletin board in the hallway. She saw Callie and her class as they were going out and coming in from recess. Later Callie even told her that every time she looked at the board she thought about Mommy (awwww). I had to say good-bye to my friend Abby after school - she is moving to South Carolina so I was pretty sad since she is the one I play with the most there. After school we were coloring with markers and when Mommy wasn't looking I colored my hair red - she wasn't too happy.
3/30/2006	Mommy and I went to storytime and I was very excited to see lots of my kingdom kids friends there! It started pouring when I woke up from my nap but luckily it was only sprinkling when we picked up Callie. She played pet store again - Mrs. Davids lets them all pick out 'houses' in the classroom and then come buy their pets and food and take them back to their house to play! I was very afraid of all the worms again and screamed all the way to the truck at Callie's school. Callie even went out to play with them when we got home from school but I did NOT want to go with.
3/29/2006	Callie was excited because today they were going to play pet store with all the stuffed animals! They put price tags on them yesterday and today Mrs. Davids drew names for who was going to be the workers and everyone else was a customer. She said it was lots of fun. I woke up this morning with a tummy ache and after a really icky diaper Mommy decided I better not go to Kingdom Kids so we hung out together instead.
3/28/2006	I told Mommy this morning that "I think my tooth is lost and that the fairy could bring me a toy!" We took cupcakes to Callie's school because it was the student teacher's last day. Daddy helped in her computer lab and now they get to type stories and use clip art for pictures too! Mommy took us to the bookstore after we picked up Callie and we played with the train there and of course looked at books until it was time to go home. After supper, Daddy had to go to a meeting and we had baths - actually Callie wanted to shower so she did that in Mommy's bathroom while I got to take a bath by myself. Mommy said it was so nice to not have us fight in the tub so maybe we will have to do that more often because Callie was really good at showering by herself.
3/27/2006	Callie and Daddy had to go back to school and work today - I am always sad on Mondays. Mommy and I played and after we picked up Callie, we went and got our hair cut! A lady came to fix our sliding glass door (it was only a rock jamming it - boy did Mommy feel silly!)and Callie played outside. After supper, we watched Garfield! I had to go get my stuffed Garfield so he could watch too and when Callie started getting sad because Odie ran away (she decided she needed to look at a magazine so she didn't have to watch) I started getting sniffly too and asked Daddy if he was going to die. But then it was a happy part again and I danced and Daddy thought I was pretty funny.
3/26/2006	Callie was tired so she slept in past 8 this morning so Mommy and I watched tv quietly. While I took my nap, Callie and Mommy played games and then went shopping. Daddy decided to take me shopping too when I woke up and then we all met back home for supper and bathtime. We helped Callie pick out three stuffed animals to take to school tomorrow because they are going to have a pretend pet store!
3/25/2006	Today was Gillian's birthday party! She had a butterfly party and they had wings and antennae we could wear as soon as we got there. Then we made our own little butterflies, had a butterfly hunt, and wrapped ourselves in toiletpaper (for our cocoons!). We had cupcakes and ice cream and then Dena read us the Hungry Hungry Caterpiller - it was sure a fun party. After playing at home for awhile Mommy and Daddy decided they needed a date night so they took us to daycare and let us eat our Happy Meals there while they went out for supper. Callie and I made lion crafts after we ate and then we played with all their fun toys until Mommy and Daddy picked us up and then it was bedtime!
3/24/2006	Today we talked about spiders so Mommy and I brought spider snacks! Cathy had spiders hidden in the rice table so we could scoop them up and we painted spider webs with a golf ball. I am still really afraid of the big ball that hit me in the face last month - when Cathy went to get it out of the closet I ran over to Mommy and hid behind her. We met Daddy for lunch today after school and then it was my naptime. Callie rode home on the bus and then we played all afternoon. Mommy made us a quick supper and then we watched a movie because Daddy went out with friends after work so he didn't come home until late.
3/22/2006	Mommy was the helper at my school today! We talked about the sunshine and made sun visors for our craft. I was quite tired from our late night so I had a few tantrums and Mommmy was quite annoyed with me by the time school was done. Then when Callie came home she was tired too and when we went to play outside, the sliding glass door got stuck open and Mommy was really ready to lose it! Finally she got the door closed but then she couldn't get it open again and I was outside crying - it was a very long afternoon. We took baths while supper was cooking so that Daddy could put us to bed right at 7pm - Mommy had a meeting so she left after supper (I think she may have left a bit early just to get away!).
3/21/2006	Mommy and I went to storytime this morning at a different library than we usually go to so I was quite shy. We got groceries after that and then headed home for a nap! I have been so tired lately that I just eat lunch when I wake up and then we go get Callie from school. Today we went to Andrew and Abby's house afterwards because it was Abby's birthday! We had cupcakes, made a princess crown and wand, and of course played. They even asked us to eat supper at Pizza Ranch so we called Daddy and had him meet us there. They have lots of games next door just like Chuck E Cheese so we played there until bedtime and then we had to go home. It was sure a fun day!
3/19/2006	We all went shopping today so we could pick out birthday presents for Gillian and Abby - their parties are coming up soon! And Mommy and Daddy kept wanting me to show them what I wanted for my birthday (because I am going to be three soon you know!) but I pretty much want everything I see. I am having a Princess party - I wanted a "darbie" party at first but I didn't like the Barbie plates they had so I changed my mind and we found Princess things instead! Mommy keeps telling me I need to practice using the potty chair so I can wear princess panties to my party but I told I am not doing that until I am big. I did actually sit on it the other day but I wouldn't pull my pants down because I told her "I didn't want any potty to come out!"
3/18/2006	Happy Birthday Uncle Tom! Tom came over and we went shopping with him and Daddy (Mommy had already left to go shopping by herself) and then we all met for supper at Fridays. We ate really well so we even had worms and dirt for dessert - yummy!
3/17/2006	Happy "Green Patrick's Day!" There were tiny footprints all over my classroom today and after we started playing, we noticed some green coins! Cathy said the leprechauns must have left them so we hunted and gathered them all up and after our snack of green cookies and grapes, we searched the whole church for those leprechauns but we couldn't find any. Callie rode the bus home today and she showed us all the maps she has been making at school - she even had to listen to the directions and draw houses 'north of the lake' and things like that - Mommy was quite impressed! Andrew, Abby, Matt, and Megan (and their Mommy and Daddy of course) came over for pizza and playtime tonight - we sure had a good time!
3/16/2006	Mommy was very excited today because her favorite coffee store opened in Sioux Falls - so we had to go there this morning. Callie was very excited when we picked her up because she was put in a new reading group today and she brought home a much harder book to read to us! Dena, Gillian, and Adam came over after school so we played with them until suppertime. We had to take quick baths and were in bed by 7:15 because we were both starting to get crabby (according to Mommy anyway - Callie and I didn't think we were!).
3/15/2006	We talked about rain in class today and so we made rainmakers! Olivia's daddy was the helper today and he sprayed us with 'rain' while Cathy read us a rain story so I told Mommy he was a pretty silly helper. Then I told her we had Krispy Kreme bars for our snack and she couldn't figure out what I meant - especially when I told her NO it wasn't a donut, it was a bar! Finally she realized I was trying to say Rice Krispy Bars. Mommy made us a quick supper tonight and then Daddy took me to the mall for ice cream and playtime with Jason and Abby. Mommy and Callie went to the cooking center and Mommy said she was a great helper!
3/14/2006	It was pretty nice out after we picked up Callie from school so we all stayed outside to make a snowman! Then Mommy and I went in and Callie stayed out to play more. She got a certificate in her bag that said she wrote all her numbers from 1 to 100!
3/13/2006	Mommy secretly hoped it would blizzard overnight so Callie could stay home with us but she woke up and it was nice out so we went out and waited for the bus. . . and waited and waited. Finally Mommy started thinking maybe she should have checked the school closings just to make sure so she yelled in to Daddy and sure enough - Callie's school was running two hours late! Mommy took her backpack inside and let us play for awhile in the snow. I fell and started crying right away so she had to rescue me and took me in but Callie stayed out for quite a bit. She had a snack with us, played a game, and then went back out to wait for the bus. In no time at all she was back - she even rode the bus home again! Daddy went to the Zoo on his lunchbreak (since he works really close) and signed Callie up for ZooCamp for this summer. Mommy already signed her up for gymnastics and swimming too! I think I am going to Kindermusic and maybe a ZooCamp too!
3/12/2006	It started snowing this morning so Callie was very excited to go outside in it! After lunch while I took my nap she played in the backyard all by herself and when I woke up we played a game and then we were going to go back out but it started getting windy - Callie and I didn't really care so we skipped it. Uncle Tom came over for supper and then it was bath and bedtime.
3/10/2006	We talked about clouds in school today and we played with shaving cream (clouds) in the water table and painted a cloud with white paint! Then we went outside to play since it was so nice out. I was tired again today but I did eat lunch first before napping and then I took a three hour nap. Callie had decided she was ready to try riding the bus home today so Mommy didn't have to wake me and she and Callie even had time to play a little before I woke up. Then we all played outside until Daddy came home and we went out for supper.
3/9/2006	Mommy took me to the library for the puppet show today and then while we were looking for books, we ran into Dena, Gillian, and Adam! We didn't even see them at the puppet show! We were going to meet Daddy for lunch afterwards but I was very tired so I said I just wanted to nap instead. Callie and I played outside all afternoon but Mommy was getting very tired of my new found fear of bugs. She and Daddy keep laughing though when I talk about my Strawberry "Horecake" doll but I am not sure why. . .
3/8/2006	I finally got to go back outside and wait with Callie for the bus to come so I was very happy! I went back to Kingdom Kids and we made Kites today and even went outside to fly them. I was super tired when Mommy picked me up so I skipped lunch and went right to bed and slept 2 1/2 hours until it was time to get Callie. Callie played Pac-Man in gym class on scooters and she was the PacMan and wore a jersey and had a tag stick - it sure sounded fun. Mommy still isn't feeling well so Daddy brought home subs for supper and then we went to bed soon after.
3/7/2006	Finally I woke up without a temp! Mommy was very excited although she started feeling sick now. I played all day long and after Callie came home we played so well together too - Callie must have missed playing with me. Mommy had to leave after supper to go to a grown up party at Kim's house so Daddy gave us our baths and put us to bed. OH and I forgot - Callie and I think it is pretty funny that Daddy gets to take a lunchbox to his new job with a sandwich and fruit in it just like Callie does! Callie even wrote about it in her journal so Mrs. Davids told Daddy while he was helping with computers today.
3/6/2006	Well I am STILL sick - Mommy can hardly believe someone can have a fever for this long (6 days!). She watched tv with me, read to me, and colored with me - I wasn't up to doing much more. Callie's class celebrated Mrs. Davids Half-Birthday today and Mommy was supposed to go help (and take the poster) but another Mommy stopped by to get it on her way there. Callie was very excited when she got home because she had been Student of the Day (Finally she had cried lately when she was tired because she thought she would never get to be it again!). She also made a lion in art class and she didn't have to wear snowpants OR boots at her last recess today (the teacher told them they didn't have to).
3/5/2006	Mommy can't believe I still have this fever. I looked the worst today of all - Mommy says I am very pale and I just don't have any energy. Callie had a splash party to celebrete the end of swimming lessons and the whole family was invited but Daddy and I stayed home. When they came home, Daddy and Callie went to play outside and Mommy read books to me until supper time. Callie and I were both ready for bed a little after seven - I sure hope I feel better tomorrow!
3/4/2006	It was Callie's last day of swimming lessons but Daddy decided to stay home with me so I could rest more. She did very good and can move on to the next level now! Mommy took her out for lunch and they went shopping afterwards.
3/3/2006	Callie had Pajama day today and Sam's dad read them the Dr. Seuss Sleep Book. Callie said it was so long it almost put her to sleep! I woke up without a fever so Mommy decided she didn't need to call my dr. after all but she still kept me home from Kingdom Kids to rest. While we were waiting for Daddy to come home, she realized I had a fever again so Daddy took me to Acute Care while Mommy and Callie went to the school's Pizza and Bingo night. I had to have an Influenza test (and I cried) and have my blood taken (I just watched and didn't even cry on this one!) but it turns out it's just a virus so they can't do anything for me. Mommy and Callie saw lots of her friends at school and they even got Bingo and won a Moon Chair!
3/2/2006	Callie had Sock/Slipper Day today for the Fox in Sox book and Lauren's Daddy came to read it to the class. And Derek's mommy brought cupcakes to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday! I was sick all day so mostly we just watched tv and read stories until Callie came home and then I felt like playing. Mommy could hardly believe that I didn't nap either - I just couldn't get comfortable. Daddy went to darts after supper but I was asleep before he even left the house!
3/1/2006	I woke up and got in Mommy's bed about 5 this morning but she didn't think anything of it until breakfast when she realized my eyes looked glossy and she took my temp and realized I was sick. So I had to miss school today and Mommy didn't get to read to Callie's class like she was supposed to so we were all sad. Daddy started his new job today so we were excited for him but he can't come home for lunch anymore so we will miss him! It was Wacky Wednesday at Callie's school so she dressed really silly and had 5 ponytails! I took two naps today and watched lots of tv. Callie played outside after school by herself and then we played with Daddy after supper because Mommy had to work.
2/28/2006	Callie had Hat day today and Ann's mom read them A Cat In the Hat. Daddy took me out for lunch today while Mommy ate with Callie at school (and she took a birthday card for Mrs. Davids to lunch so all the kids could sign it before next week). Daddy and I met Mommy at school afterwards so Daddy could help with computers and Mommy took me home to nap. Callie and I played outside this afternoon while Mommy made us brownies and then while we ate them I asked her to read another chapter (from Little House on the Prairie)! After supper, Callie was very tired from her late night last night so Mommy put her to bed while Daddy and I went back to Revonet to get a few things he forgot since it was his last day there (although he figures he will still be helping them a LOT at night).
2/27/2006	It is Dr. Seuss week at Callie's school and today was Green Day and they read Green Eggs and Ham! She wore green a shirt to school. Dena and Adam came over to play this morning while Gillian was at school but I didn't really feel like sharing so Mommy was getting frustrated with me. At lunch she thought I was cute though when I told her she 'gotfer' to cut my corndog. I always say forget "gotfer"! Callie and I played outside while Mommy made supper today and then it was time for Callie's school rollerskating party. Derek was there again so they held hands and rollerskated together. She also saw Ian, Jarron, Lauren, and London. Daddy tried to help me rollerskate too but I didn't like it so we played games instead and watched all the kids. It was late when we got home so we had to go right to bed!
2/26/2006	It was really nice today so we played outside all afternoon in the sandbox and then in the front yard while Daddy finished up the garage door opener. I worked on riding Callie's bike and after Daddy was all finished up we went to Walmart - Daddy's friends at Revonet gave him a going away gift card so he decided to use it to buy Callie a NEW bike! We came back home and she practiced on it before supper - she can sure ride it fast!
2/25/2006	Daddy and Mommy decided we are not ready for a dog so we took the puppy back so she could find a new home. I had swimming lessons today - next week is my last day! We helped Daddy start fixing the garage door opener today while Mommy shopped for Daddy's new clothes - he starts his new job Wednesday. And after supper we had a Survivor Night since we had recorded it Thursday night - Callie and I sure like watching the games they play but then Callie got very sad because her favorite girl was voted off and had to go home.
2/24/2006	Daddy came home early from work today and we went shopping for a new garage door opener because ours is broken so our cars have been stuck outside! After supper we went to Family Fun Night and had our faces painted, made a craft, and played lots of games. It was fun and we even saw Gillian and Adam there too!
2/23/2006	Mommy doesn't think this puppy thing is going to work out very well so we may have to take her back. The cats are very very scared of her and Mommy is realizing dogs are much more work than she ever imagined!
2/22/2006	Mommy, Daddy, and I looked at a puppy today and then later Mommy went back to get her. She gets to stay at our house and we can see if the cats will like her or not -she is pretty cute!!
2/21/2006	Happy 75th Birthday Great-Grandma Ivey! I was very sad this morning when Callie started getting ready to go to school and I said "who is going to play with me?" and cried for a bit. Then of course like EVERY day I had to get my snowpants and coat on to walk her outside across the street to wait for the bus. Mommy keeps thinking I will get tired of this so she won't have to dress me for five minutes but I never will! We stayed home and played all day and then when we picked up Callie we went to the Humane Society to visit all the kitties and puppies. Mommy keeps thinking she wants a dog so she spent a lot of time with them and then we came home to get supper ready and then we watched some Olympics. It was the "ballet girls on ice skates" tonight and as each one came out to skate I said "Oh I love her!" Mommy and Daddy thought it was pretty cute.
2/20/2006	Today was Callie's last day of vacation so we had fun playing all day! Mommy made us a playhouse and she even pretended she was the daddy so Callie could be the Mommy and I was the big sister.
2/19/2006	Today we played Barbies all morning - Callie and I were in a good mood all day and played very nicely together. After my nap, we went shopping and came home for a quick supper before heading to the Curious George movie! It was really good although there was a sad part that both Callie and I started to get weepy over but it was a quick moment and then we were happy again. We had to brush our teeth and go right to bed when we got home because we were both very tired.
2/18/2006	Grandma and Grandpa came with to watch Callie at her swimming lessons and then we stopped at the bread store and ate lunch before they left for Aberdeen. We all went home and took a long nap and then watched a movie and had a picnic supper.
2/17/2006	Mommy and Grandma went shopping this morning for new clothes for Daddy because he has to dress up for his new job. Callie and I didn't want to go so Grandpa stayed home with us and played. After lunch Callie and I both took a nap so we could stay up late tonight and then Daddy came home from work early so Mommy made an early supper (with dessert even!) and we all went to the basketball game! First we drove by Daddy's new job and then we had to wait in a long line for tickets for the game - all the kids at school got free tickets so it was pretty busy! It was a fun night though - I saw Thunder and got excited and then scared of him when he wanted to give me five. I didn't get scared of the blimp this time though! And Callie and I danced to all the music they play at the game. It was late when we got home so we went right to bed.
2/16/2006	Callie didn't have school today so we played all morning. I was too excited to nap and then Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came so I really didn't want to nap after that. Finally Mommy decided to 'go to the store' and I fell asleep - hmmm I wonder if she planned that. Daddy came home and we all went out to eat and then we came home for the Olympics and bedtime.
2/15/2006	I got bonked in the face with a ball at school today so I was very sad when Daddy came to pick me up and my lip was all swollen! I thought if I ate a chocolate it would feel better but it hurt worse so then I cried more. I decided to come home and go right to sleep - I didn't want lunch and I didn't even want a popsicle. After I woke up, Mommy gave me an ice cube to put on it while we went to pick up Callie. She was cranky today so I guess she is tired and I was still sad so Mommy was glad when Daddy got home and we were even more excited to find out that Daddy has a new job he will start in March!!
2/14/2006	Happy Valentine's Day! We had valentines, chocolates and little presents waiting for us when we went down for breakfast. After Callie went to school, Mommy and I went shopping and stopped for a donut - yummy! Mommy helped at Callie's party and I went shopping with Daddy after my nap. Callie delivered her valentines to all her friends, they they had a relay race, and had to take half of a heart and find their 'match' and had a cupcake, so she had a fun party! When we all got home, Daddy gave us each flowers!
2/13/2006	It was Callie's turn to take snack today so she took red heart jello jigglers and cracker sticks. Mommy and I played with Adam this morning so Dena could help at Gillian's Valentine Party. Daddy came home early today and then we all went back to Callie's school for the book fair and her conferences. Mrs. Davids said she is doing great! We had to try and find Callie's head profile hanging - Mommy found it on the second try. Then we looked at lots of pictures and drawings until Mommy and Daddy surprised us and said Callie could pick where we wanted to eat since she did such a great job and of course she picked Chuck E Cheese! We had a fun time playing all the games together and when we got home we walked outside to look at the moon with Daddy because it was so pretty - then it was bedtime.
2/12/2006	Grandma and Grandpa came and got me and Callie this morning to take us out for breakfast before they had to go back to their home. We watched Olympics today and helped Mommy make valentine cookies and jello jigglers.
2/11/2006	Grandma and Uncle Tom met us at Callie's swimming lessons this morning and then we all met Grandpa for lunch. I had to take a nap after that but I when I woke up, it was time for me and Callie to go to Gillian's Valentine's Day Party! We made a bracelet, painted, had cupcakes and made some other crafts too! Then it was time to eat supper with Grandma and Grandpa at HuHot and finally we got to go to their motel room to swim. I was pretty tired by then so I just sat in the wading pool awhile but Mommy and Daddy were sure surprised by how much Callie enjoyed all the waterslides! She went down the little ones by herself and then the big one with Mommy or Daddy - she kept wanting to go again and again, even after they dunked and went under one time!
2/10/2006	We talked about loving our friends in Kingdom Kids today and we had a present for Mommy and Daddy - a plate that I drew a picture on all by myself! We picked up Callie from school and she told us about a lady that has been coming to her class once every week for Junior Achievement and she reads them stories. Daddy got off work early and we waited for Grandma and Grandpa Ivey to come - finally they called and we met them at Olive Garden for supper. They even had the workers bring out a cake for Daddy and they sang Happy Birthday to him too!
2/9/2006	Callie almost missed her bus today! There was a new driver that didn't know the schedule and when Callie was brushing her teeth she asked Mommy if that was the bus. Mommy couldn't believe it was the bus that early but she ran downstairs and it was! She called our neighbor to make sure and she said it had been but she was sure he would come back through because he probably missed half the kids so we all went outside to wait and sure enough, he came back after awhile! Mommy and I went to storytime today and I was so excited because my friends Abby and Ethan were there! I was copying the songs the librarian sang and even did her high and low voices so all the moms thought I was pretty funny. Callie and I made Easy Bake Oven treats for our snack today and then we played outside because it snowed today. We met Jason and Abby at Qdoba for supper tonight and Gillian and Adam happened to be eating there too with their mommy and daddy!!
2/8/2006	Callie and I both slept all night in each others beds last night and Mommy still had to wake Callie up even after going to bed at 7pm! Today was Callie's 100th day of school! She and Mommy counted out 100 red hots last night to take today for her party. I had school today too and we painted and got all messy. While I was there, Mommy went to help with Callie's party. She drew grids with 100 squares on all the kids tables (they were covered in paper) and then the kids picked out 100 snacks from the trays to fill in their grid - then they ate them! After supper, Mommy and Daddy started working on booklets to help Callie's teacher - they had papers spread all over the living room floor so Callie and I watched until it was time for bed.
2/7/2006	Callie is learning about body parts in school and they traced themselves and glued all the parts on them - now they are hanging in their room so we saw them when we picked her up today! She also made vertebrae with a pipe cleaner and straw pieces which was really neat!! Daddy was home early after his interview so he played outside with us - I told him I can pedal now but our bikes are still a little to big (I learned how at the play gym) but by summer I think they will be just right. Mommy thinks it is pretty cute how I always ask if can play just for 'a little minute' when she says it is almost time to pick up. Callie was very tired today so Mommy said she had to go to bed at 7 tonight and she even agreed to let us switch bedrooms so Callie went to bed in my room and I went to bed in her room!
2/6/2006	Callie had to go back to school today so I was sad. Every Monday it seems I tell Mommy that I am going to miss Callie and I don't want her to go. And every Friday Callie always tells me "guess what Julia? I don't have to go to school tomorrow!" so Mommy thinks that is pretty cute. I played at home today so Mommy could get some cleaning done and for some reason I decided I didn't want to nap. Of course, I fell asleep on the way to pick up Callie from school so then Mommy asked Kathryn's grandma to tell Callie that she was waiting outside for her since I was sleeping (Mommy and I have been going in to wait in the hall for Callie lately so we can talk to some other moms and sometimes we see Mrs. Davids too!)
2/5/2006	We stayed home and played today - Callie even took a nap with me. Mommy started getting all of our food ready for our Super Bowl Party and we put a blanket on the floor and had a picnic while we watched it!
2/4/2006	Happy Birthday Daddy! Mommy went to the cooking center again so Daddy took Callie to swimming lessons and I came along of course! She got her half point progress report and it said she was doing great. We played restaurant with Mommy when she came home and then Daddy and Callie played chess with his new Star Wars Chess game we gave him. Finally it was time to go visit Daddy's friends in Brandon! They have a two year old girl too so we had a LOT of fun playing after supper. Callie played with us too and with her big brother. We were quite tired and both fell asleep on the way home.
2/3/2006	Callie had dress-up day today so she wore her black princess dress! Mommy helped at my school and we did exercises with Cathy and we made a rectangle bookmark. We picked up Callie after school and came home to decorate Daddy's cake and decorate the kitchen for his birthday - we decided to celebrate early since tomorrow we have other plans. He came home early and we went out to eat at Timberlodge and then we went back to our house to open his gifts and eat cake!
2/2/2006	Callie asked this morning (before she was even out of bed and barely had opened her eyes!) if it was sunny or cloudy out! Mommy had no idea why she cared at first but then she realized it was Groundhog Day. It was nice again after school so Callie and I played Laura Ingalls outside. Mommy has been reading us the book - a chapter each day while we are eating our afternoon snack - so it was fun to play! After our baths, we found out it was Survivor Night and right away we asked Mommy if that meant we could have our popcorn and pop like we used to and of course she said yes!! We could only watch half of it though because our bedtime is 7:30 now so Mommy said we could watch the rest tomorrow.
2/1/2006	Mommy was the helper today at my school so I was very excited! We took pink milk and pink rectangle cookies because we talked about rectangles today (and I love pink). Callie had Buddy day today and this time they went to their classroom instead and made valentines. It was so nice out when we picked up Callie that we played outside while Mommy swept all the pebbles out of our yard - we have a LOT! Callie and I made pebble stew in our buckets and then Callie's friend, Alex, and his mom rode their bikes by and said hello to us! Callie sits by him on the bus - they live right next the park by our house. Mommy had to go to work tonight so we watched Star Wars with Daddy until bedtime and then Mommy came home so Daddy could go do consulting work!
1/31/2006	Mommy and went to the play gym again and met Dena there too! Afterwards, we all went out for lunch and I was so tired I fell asleep on the way home and Mommy had to wake me up when it was time to get Callie from school. She was really tired today and so she kept crying but I kept telling Mommy "I am happy!" Daddy got home early and we watched the rest of SuperMan - I started crying when Lois Lane died but luckily SuperMan made it all better so I felt much better then. We saw Daddy on the news too so that was fun! Then he and I went shopping while Mommy put Callie to bed. I told Daddy we wrapped his present today but he told me I better not tell him what it is so I said "come up to your bedroom so I can show you something" but he figured out what I was up to so he got me interested in brushing my teeth instead so then I forgot about it!
1/30/2006	Callie learned all about Ground Hog Day in school today so she told us all about it. We went in to her classroom to see her new spot and the teacher even moved the tables, couch, and reading area all around so her room looks all different! Callie and I played outside a lot afterschool and even Daddy came out and played when he got home. He was dressed up all fancy because he has to find a new job now since his old one doesn't want any computer people anymore.
1/28/2006	Callie and I slept really good in the tent except we both woke up at 6am and wouldn't go back to sleep. Mommy had bought yummy coffee cake from the bread store so we had that for breakfast and started playing right away. Daddy had to leave early for his darts and then later Dena, Gilian, & Adam came over to play! After lunch, Callie and I both took a nap since we had gotten up so early. Daddy lost at darts so he was home before supper and we were very happy to see him. We played in the tent until it was time for bed and Mommy said we had to sleep in our beds tonight.
1/27/2006	Callie was excited because today was Fabulous Friday at her school! I had school too - we did another triangle craft and played with beans in the water table. Everyone at Callie's school had to bring sack lunches and they ate on blankets in the gym for a picnic and then they all were in small groups and went to different places for fun activities. She went to a magic room, a pet room, she made her very own ice cream, and her ZooCamp teacher was there in a room talking about the zoo animals and he brought a hedgehog! It was super nice outside so we played on the driveway while Mommy cleaned the truck. Then she set up the tent in our family room and we had a camp out since Daddy started his dart tournament tonight! Mommy popped us popcorn and she read us lots of stories - we even turned the fireplace on so it was just like we were camping for real! Even Julia went to sleep in her own sleeping bag.
1/26/2006	Mommy and I played games this morning - at least my version of playing games anyway! Daddy came home at lunch and took a nap because he wasn't feeling well. After Mommy picked up Callie from school, we watched Superman!
1/25/2006	Callie rode the bus again - Mommy can hardly believe it! I had school finally today too - we talked about triangles and made a triangle guy by gluing shapes together AND we played "Duck Duck Duck Duck Goose." Daddy ate lunch with Callie and all the kids were so excited - they all fought over who was going to sit by him. The lunchroom helper even told him it was the quietest some of the boys had been for a long time! After my nap we went to pick up Callie and Derek from school because he came over to play. They played Harry Potter and then went outside for a long time because it was SO nice out and when they came back in they let me play with them too until his Mommy came to pick him up.
1/24/2006	Callie says she is going to ride the bus TO school from now on! Mommy and I went to the playgym today and saw Olivia and Gillian & Adam there. Callie and I played outside today even though it was super windy out. I even dressed myself with snowpants, boots, and coat - I just couldn't zip my coat - but I sure surprised Mommy when she came upstairs and I was all ready to go! Daddy ate a quick supper with us and then he had to go to a meeting and back to work so it was a girls' night tonight.
1/23/2006	Callie wanted to ride the bus again this morning and I got really mad because I wanted to go out with Daddy and wait for it but I wasn't dressed yet! Finally Mommy just put my snowpants and coat on over my nightgown and let me go out to wave goodbye. Daddy surprised us tonight with new Star Wars guys! Callie had been so sad since her Obie got swiped at Show N Tell so (thanks to Ebay) he found her a new one and added a Darth Maul and Clone Trooper to our collection too!
1/22/2006	Mommy had to clean and do lots of laundry today so we played with Daddy - he took us to work too so we could help him fix stuff! I am very good at putting my shoes on all by myself now and I really like to try and dress myself in the mornings too. Usually I let Mommy pick out my clothes but I do NOT let her give me white socks - they have to be colored, preferrably pink.
1/21/2006	Callie had swimming lessons again this morning. She jumps in without holding her teacher's hand this time and she put her face in while floating! The teacher hasn't tried letting go yet but Mommy said maybe next time. We went out for lunch and then came home to nap - even Callie napped today!
1/20/2006	Callie's class moved around today so now she sits on table two! Callie and I have been playing Olympics again a lot and Mommy always has to give us medals and tell us which step to stand on. When Daddy got home, we went to Andrew and Abby's house for supper and playtime while the grown ups played games - it was sure a fun night!
1/19/2006	Callie decided she wanted to ride the bus today so she was gone when I woke up! Daddy stayed home this morning so Mommy could go to the play with Callie. We went shopping and I helped Daddy get his drivers license renewed! While we were having a snack Daddy couldn't hear what I said so he wanted me to repeat myself but I told him that "I was NOT talking to you, I am talking to my muffin!" When I woke up from my nap, Mommy was home but it was time to go get Callie from school already. I had to remind Mommy AGAIN that I am a big girl and can walk on my own - she keeps trying to carry me. Callie was pretty tired again so we watched Cinderella when she got home and then she was ready to read some stories. She is getting very good at sounding out words and reading books now!
1/18/2006	I didn't have Kingdom Kids today so Mommy took me to a different storytime at the library - it was fun and we even watched a movie there! Callie had Buddy Day at school so she was very excited and they made toad puppets together. Then her class read the Frog & Toad stories so they would know all about the play they are going to see tomorrow. Their tables even took turns putting on puppet shows for the rest of the class!
1/17/2006	I did some crafts this morning with Mommy and then we went grocery shopping where I amused Mommy with all the voices I like to use - I am getting to be pretty entertaining! After we picked Callie up from school, we went to her old preschool to visit Mrs. LuAnn and Mrs. Blythe - Mommy wanted to see when registration starts and thought it would be fun to say hi! We played after supper and then it was time for bath and bed. Mommy and Daddy find my bedtime 'needs' amusing since all Callie ever needed was her blankie and carebear. I need my paci, TWO blankies, two stuffed kitties, one stuffed puppy, and my baby that 'smells like powder'. If they forget something I will yell down to them "What about my kitty" and they have to come find it and tuck it in next to me before I will go to sleep.
1/16/2006	Happy Birthday Grandma Ivey! I asked Mommy if Santa was coming to our house again soon and she said Christmas was all over but it would be Valentines Day next - so then I asked if the little Red Haired Girl was coming instead - she thought that was pretty funny. Callie went to Kathryn's house this afternoon and was very excited all day for it to be time to go there. We picked her up and after supper she had to go to bed but I stayed up for awhile to watch the awards show with Mommy and Daddy. I kept admiring the 'princesses' dresses and then when Mommy said "ohh I like her dress" I said "yes and I like her big fat boobies" - for some reason that made Mommy and Daddy start choking and laughing!
1/15/2006	Happy Birthday Great Grandpa Anglin! We had planned on meeting Andrew and Abby rollerskating today but I was very tired and still napping at 2 so Mommy and Callie went and Daddy was going to take me when I woke up - but he didn't even hear me until 3:45 so he doesn't know if I slept that long or if I just was sitting on my bed waiting for someone to come up and find me. They were all done already but we did get to eat ice cream together! Callie even saw her friend, Lauren skating too and she showed Andrew how good she is getting - it was his and Abby's first time but they did really good too! Callie was cranky so she went to bed at 7 but I stayed up and watched tv with Daddy.
1/14/2006	Daddy took me to a ZooTot class this morning! It was called R is for Rhinos so we made a rhino craft, listened to a story, ate animal crackers for our snack and took a walk to see the rhinos, but it was too cold and they were inside so they let us feed the ducks instead! Afterwards we met Mommy and Callie at swimming lessons and then Mommy left to go to a cooking center where she made us a lot of suppers to put in the freezer! We tried one tonight and they sure liked it - but Callie and I thought it was too spicy.
1/13/2006	Callie's alphabet parade and feast was today! After school I quick ate lunch and had a nap - but Mommy woke me up early so she could take me to Gillian's to play while she went to Callie's school. The kids were all dressed up in neat costumes and they all brought snacks so they had a big feast after the parade. Callie was H so she was a hair stylest and she took heart shaped bread with honey. Mommy brought Callie over to Gillian's after school so she could play more too and then we met Daddy for supper and went home to an early bedtime. Callie also learned about Martin Luther King Jr today and she had to think of her own dream after talking about his!
1/12/2006	Mommy made me a playhouse today so I was busy playing in it all morning while Mommy cleaned her kitchen up. She would call me on the 'phone' and come over for dinner sometimes too! After my nap, she showed me the new nightgown she bought me and I was SO excited I wanted to get in it right away. I have started to really love nightgowns and I put on my dress shoes and never want to get dressed anymore. After we picked up Callie she tried on her new swimsuit Mommy bought and I put on my nightie and we played very nicely today. Mommy also bought a globe so she could show us where Italy is because Callie is getting excited for the Olympics and they think I might like it too!
1/11/2006	Callie took Obie One to school for Show N Tell today! I had school too - we talked about sqaures and made a stepping stone for the playground. I was pretty crabby today and cried a lot. Callie was cranky when she got home too so Mommy was getting very upset with us. I hit Callie on the back with a shovel when we were playing so I had to have a time out and then we fought more so finally Mommy said we each had to play by ourselves until Daddy got home - then she left right away for work so I guess she needed a break!
1/9/2006	Callie had to go back to school today - she was excited because it is alphabet week and she gets to bring show-n-tell all week! Today she took her stuffed elephant (it was A-E day). Mommy and I played today and we worked on my alphabet book that Mommy made me. I did the letters A and B already so today I learned what a C looks like. I colored the letter and we made a car craft! I also picked out the letter C on a puzzle and food boxes in Mommy's cupboards! When we picked Callie up, Mrs. Davids said she heard all about how I am learning my letters from Callie. She even got to watch Sesame Street in school today because they were testing. Callie was very very tired today so we fought a lot and Daddy decided to take me shopping after supper so Mommy could put her to bed at 7. We came home at 7:30 and she was sound asleep so I had my snack and brushed my teeth alone.
1/8/2006	Daddy had to go back to darts again at 8am this morning! Callie and I helped Mommy make monkey bread and then we ate it - yummy! We played all day and Mommy was really starting to miss having Daddy around to help entertain us. He called us at lunch and said he was doing really well so he wouldn't be home for awhile. Finally at 3:30 he was home and he WON!! His team was the best in his division - he even has a trophy! He took Callie and I grocery shopping so Mommy could have a break and he made supper and gave us baths before bed.
1/7/2006	Callie started her swimming lessons this morning and I kept asking Mommy if I could go to them too but she said I have to be bigger - No Fair! After lunch Daddy and I napped while Mommy and Callie went shopping. Daddy had to go back to darts when they got home and we played and watched Mommy sew. She is making Callie's outfit for her alphabet parade next week. Callie got the letter H so she has to dress up as something that starts with H and bring a H snack for the alphabet feast too! She decided to be a hair stylist so Mommy is sewing an apron with pockets for all her tools - Callie even picked out material with blowdryers and lipstick on it!
1/6/2006	Daddy was home again today since his dart tournament started but he didn't have to go until 2 so he picked me up from Kingdom Kids and we went and got lunch! Callie started testing in school today and she did very good and even got Skittles! She told us that Mrs. Davids was 'astonished' that a boy in her class remembered to hang up his coat today - Mommy thought it was pretty funny hearing Callie say such a big word. Dena, Gillian, & Adam came over after school to play today and then we met our Dads for supper before they had to go back to play more darts.
1/5/2006	Daddy didn't get home until 5:30 this morning so Mommy and I took Callie to school today and then came home and played very quietly so Daddy could sleep. We woke him up at lunchtime though because Mommy went to eat with Callie at school. Callie had a popcorn party after her last recess so she was very excited about that and then Daddy and I came to pick her up! We played all afternoon and then after supper Daddy went to darts and Mommy read us lots of stories again before bed - if Callie reads or is read to 20 minutes each day she gets to color a state on the map and when she has all 50 states colored, she gets a prize!
1/4/2006	I went back to school today and I was very excited! We talked about circles and had circle crackers for snack. Daddy came home to eat a very quick supper with us tonight and then he had to go to work ALL NIGHT LONG so Mommy popped us popcorn after our bath and read us lots of stories while we ate it.
1/3/2006	I was very sad to see Callie and Daddy go back to school and work and told them I would miss them. Callie was excited to go back but when we picked her up she said it was a long day! Mrs. Davids had to talk to Mommy after school about another field trip coming up so I looked at lots of books in Callie's classroom. After work, Daddy kept trying to use those silly jelly beans to get me to sit on the potty chair (I refused all day for Mommy) and so finally after supper I sat on it and realized it wasn't so scary after all. In fact, I did it three more times in about five minutes so I could keep getting more jelly beans!
1/2/2006	Daddy and Callie still had one last day off today so we played all morning and then while I took a nap, they went to the movie at the Pavillion & to the Visual Art Studio there to make crafts. Callie told me all about the movie - she had a good time! We went to Shopko after I woke up so I could pick out Jelly Belly Beans - my favorite! Mommy & Daddy seem to think they can bribe me to use the potty chair - I haven't decided if that is going to work or not.
1/1/2006	Happy New Year!! Mommy decided it was my turn to write our story -yippee! It's about time I get some credit around here. . . We played at home today while Mommy took down our Christmas decorations - I was very upset that included baby Jesus because I played with him a lot. After my nap, we went to Target to use our Christmas money so Callie could buy her Light Brite refills and I picked out a theater/restuarant for my Sweet Streets village. On the way from the car to the store I told Daddy "big girls walk and I am a big girl!" so he put me down to walk by myself!
