12/31/2007	We were pretty excited that it was New Years Eve! Callie has been wanting to play with Lauren since after Christmas but she was gone this weekend so today we had her over. She brought her American Girls (she has two!) and we played dolls - they even let me play. Then we all went outside in the snow and Mommy made hot cocoa for us when we got back in. We headed to the playroom for crafts next and Mommy got all of the Christmas stuff put away while we played. Callie asked if Lauren could stay for supper and Mommy said yes! We all went to Sonic together and then to Coldstone for dessert - yummy! We took her home and then went home to play games and watch Miley on tv! I was ready for bed at 10 and Callie stayed up to watch the ball drop but then she went to bed right after that.
12/30/2007	Callie and I had fun playing today and then Daddy watched a movie with us while Mommy did laundry. We went out to Erkonens to play around 4 and of course we took our dolls because Abby got one for Christmas too so we had lots of fun playing while we were there. We all had pizza together and played until 9 when it was time to come home for bed. I fell asleep on the way and Callie fell asleep as soon as we got home.
12/29/2007	We went shopping today so Mommy could return some things. AND I am SUPER excited because I got an "American Girl". Well actually I got Target's version. Callie and I have been saving for them and she already got hers but I didn't so Mommy suggested I use my Christmas money to buy the cheaper one so then I can buy American Girl clothes that I have picked out (since all I cared about was that the girl was blond - most importantly I wanted the fancy ballet dress for her to wear). So Callie and I played with our dolls when we got home and we used our gift cards to order fun clothes for our dolls - yippee! After supper we went to Walgreens to look for a wire brush because you are supposed to use that to brush their hair but we didn't have any luck. Mommy said we can look more tomorrow.
12/28/2007	Mommy promised us we could stay home the entire day today and we did! We played and played with all of our new things. Mommy and Daddy took turns playing games with us so we could try everything out - it was great fun. Daddy made us supper and Mommy was so impressed! He even made me tator tots since he knew I wouldn't eat the sausages he made. We played more after supper and then Mommy said it was time to put all our new toys away in their permanent homes - she is tired of it all over the floor. That took quite a while and then it was time for bed.
12/27/2007	We slept in again until 8 so Grandpa was long gone. I forgot to tell you that we went outside with Grandma yesterday and played with Cosmo and tried to teach her some tricks. She wasn't really following our commands (especially since we were both yelling out different things and kept changing our minds) but she sure liked the treats we gave her! Mommy and Daddy started packing up the truck right away and after we all were ready and ate lunch, we started home. The roads were fine this time so we were home well before supper so we had lots of time to play while they unpacked the car. We met Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace for supper and to exchange Christmas gifts and then it was time for bed.
12/26/2007	We slept in until 8 this morning and then started playing. After awhile we got ready and went to visit Great Grandma & Grandpa Anglin. I was starting to get very tired so we ate lunch and went back to Grandma's for a nap. At four Mommy finally woke me so we could visit Great Grandma Ivey for awhile and then we went to Grandma & Grandpa Ivey's house for supper and more gifts! We even got to see their new cat, Oliver. We had been talking about seeing him the whole trip so we were very excited to finally meet him, although he was pretty shy so he didn't stay out and play. We headed back to Grandma & Grandpa Robinson's just in time to say good night and good bye to Grandpa because he has to leave before 6 tomorrow morning for work and Mommy said we could NOT get up that early.
12/25/2007	Santa came! I was so excited I first woke up at 5am to ask if it was time to get up yet. Mommy convninced me to go back to sleep, although it took me almost an hour. Callie woke up at 7 and could hardly wait until I woke up again (which I did at 7:20). We ran downstairs and I was super excited to see my Island Princess Barbie I had asked for. Callie had a Top Model Barbie sitting by her things and the rest of it was wrapped. I got a Dronkey (from shrek), a kid barbie and elephant from the Island Princess movie too, and a new big kid camping chair! Callie got a cool play make up kit in a neat fold out container, a United States game, and a snowman kit with tons of different eyes, noses, mouths, and hats to make snowmen with! We had even more things in our stockings. After we played for awhile Daddy packed up the car while Mommy made our lunches (in our lunchboxes even) and we started out for Aberdeen at 11:30. The roads were horrible (icy and foggy and snowing)so we saw lots of cars in the ditches and even watched some slide into the ditch as we were stopped for an accident in front of us. It took us 90 minutes to go 45 miles so Mommy and Daddy were stressed. We ate our lunches and played with our new toys. Finally we made it to Grandma & Granpa Robinson's house. We brought some of our new toys so we had to show them and of course wanted to play right away. We had snack foods and started opening our gifts later. Afterwards we sat in their hottub while Grandpa lit fireworks for us. It was a great Christmas!
12/24/2007	Merry Christmas! Callie woke up at 6am she was so excited today but Mommy made her lay back down until it was closer to 7. We took our baths this morning to get all fancied up for our day. Callie had her hair curled and I had my hair braided. We opened up gifts that had come in the mail and then it was time for lunch at Red Lobster! We came back home and had a little time so Mommy let us open two gifts from her and Daddy which kept us busy until church. We saw Callie's friends Ann & Lauren there - it was very crowded! We headed home for GIFTS after that - yippee! I could hardly wait for Daddy to change clothes and get the video camera set up. We tore through them quickly at first but then I got my leapster and I was busy busy after that so we took a break. Mommy started our homemade pizzas and we came to help. We got personal sized ones this time and so we each shaped our own dough and did our sauce and toppings. We ate and then we each had two more presents to open. I played some more after that and then I asked Mommy if it was time for bed. First I put out cookies and carrots though! Callie stayed up and she and Mommy worked on her new Fashion Designer Kit - they had a great time!
12/23/2007	We went to the Chipmunk movie today - we were very excited to get there but when we did, it was FULL! We are just not having good luck lately. Daddy decided to try the other theater and luckily they had a show starting in 15 minutes and it was not full at all. It was a GREAT movie! Afterwards I kept saying "the looove doctor" and doing the little move like they did - it was pretty funny. I told Mommy today that last year when I was three, I hit and kicked a lot more so I was much more naughty and Santa still brought me gifts so maybe he would still bring me some this year too. I am pretty concerned about this. We got subs and went to the lightshow at 5:30 even though it didn't start until 6 because we wanted to make sure to get in. We ate our subs while we waited and then it started - it was really neat! The lights blinked to music on our radio. We came back home and finished up our gingerbread houses we had started earlier and then Jackie came over to bring us gifts!
12/22/2007	Today we were going to go to Nebraska but the weather kept Grandma and Grandpa Robinson home so we decided to skip it and have another day at home. Callie and I were busy working on crafts and finishing our homemade Christmas gifts. After supper we went driving around looking at Christmas lights! We were supposed to go to the light show at 8 but when we got there it was full so we had to go home. We were pretty sad but Mommy said we would go tomorrow instead and get there early this time!
12/21/2007	Daddy had today off work and we all had lots of errands to run so we were lots of different places! Callie and I were not getting along today and then I bit her! Mommy and Daddy were very mad at me and I had to stay in my room until supper and after that I had to go to bed. I cried and cried but I stayed there. And when Mommy showed me the mark I left on Callie I felt really bad and said I was so sorry and that I wanted her to cover it back up because I didn't like looking at it.
12/20/2007	We were all very tired this morning so Callie had to move fast when she finally got out of bed. She really really wanted to wear her Christmas tree earrings Daddy had bought her but they aren't gold so Mommy wasn't sure. Finally she said she could wear them for the day but she had to put her gold ones back in tonight and she did! Daddy took her to school and then came home to get ready for my program. I have been very nervous and Mommy wasn't sure how it was going to go but I was in a really good mood all morning and I had no problems when they dropped me off in my classroom. I had a big smile on my face when we marched in the church and I sang, did the actions, and talked in the microphone. We had to tell everyone what we wanted to give Jesus for his birthday and I said A DOG! We had cookies after the program and then Mommy & I went shopping while Daddy met Callie for lunch. We all met back at the house and I quick wrapped Ava's birthday gift and Daddy took me to her birthday party. It was at Build A Bear and we all got to make our own stuffed animals! I made a penguin and named him Icey. Mommy went to Callie's Christmas party at school. She was in charge of the games and they had a craft and snack station too. Callie gave her teacher a gift AND she made a gift for Mrs. Davids too so they walked down there to talk to her after school. We sure had a busy day! And now we are done with school and Daddy is done with work until next year!
12/19/2007	Today was my school party! Mommy helped by bringing the snack and of course I was clingy today so I wouldn't do anything unless she was right beside me. We made an angel craft, had our cookies, and then opened gifts. I brought a fairy barbie and Alisha ended up with it (I was glad because I told Mommy she is my best friend). I got Gabby's gift and it was a heart trinket box that came with paints, stickers, and glitter to decorate it with! I wouldn't even eat lunch when we got home but instead had to paint it right away! Callie's ballet program was tonight and she was a little nervous - I told her I am nervous for my program tomorrow too. We met Daddy at the Orpheum and while we found seats we saw Tate, my preschool friend! We decided to sit right in front of him so he and I played through the seats while we waited for it to start. Callie did a great job but unfortunately the music stopped near the end of the dance and they couldn't get it to start again so they had to finish up without music. But they did great anyway! Intermission was a little after that so Mommy and I came home so I wouldn't be too tired for tomorrow (although it was 8 anyway but I fell asleep the instant Mommy buckled me in).
12/18/2007	I forgot to tell you that Callie took out her earrings last night all by herself so Mommy could clean them and put them back in! She is getting much braver about it all now. We stayed home today so Mommy could do laundry and get ready for my preschool party tomorrow! Callie went to Lauren's house after school to play so I was lonely but Callie had told me I could teach her imaginary school while she was gone so I read them lots of stories.
12/17/2007	I took my bath when I woke up this morning since I was too tired to last night. I was happy about going to school and Mommy helped at Callie's math class. She gave a test to the kids today - they had little clocks and had to show her different times. OH and she had forgotten to pack Callie's shoes again but luckily Ms. Ahlbrecht emailed her so Mommy brought them with her. Mommy took me to Dena's house before brownies because today was their Christmas party at Cici's Pizza. They all toured the kitchen and then put their own toppings on mini pizzas that were just for them! After putting them in the oven, they were ready to eat. The girls had fun and then Mommy handed them out Christmas treat bags.
12/16/2007	Callie is 7 1/2 today! Mommy had to shop this morning so Daddy took us to Sam's Club and then fed us lunch when we got home. We were both very tired still from the party so we went to bed early.
12/15/2007	Of course we didn't really sleep in - I was up at 7:45 and Callie was up at 8:30. Grandma and Grandpa came over around lunch time and we played for awhile until they left for home. We took a nap then, even Mommy and Daddy! Amber came over around 5 to drop off Jace - we babysat him. He sure laughs a lot and loves to play peek-a-boo! We fed him babyfood and then it was time for our bed. Of course Mommy started getting stressed because he chose bedtime to become crabby and I insist Mommy stay in her room while I fall asleep. She kept trying to sneak downstairs to help calm Jace (Daddy isn't that great at that job) but I kept screaming and crying whenever I found out she was gone. I won't let Daddy come up and sit in his room if Mommy is around - she HAS to. And if she brought Jace upstairs he was crying so loud that he kept Callie up. So it wasn't going too well. Finally he fell asleep and then Callie and I fell asleep. I think Mommy was exhausted after that ordeal!
12/14/2007	I went to school today again without crying so Mommy was happy. She went home and set up for the party and finished making some food. We had to drop off our old bathroom things for a donation this afternoon and then when we got back home Grandma & Grandpa Robinson were on their way over! They brought Mommy tiger meat for the party (our town doesn't sell it) but they couldn't stay long because they had to get ready for their bank Christmas party. We picked up Callie and then Daddy came home early - he was taking a test today (and passed!). He took us out for supper so Mommy could do last minute things and then everyone started coming over. We had 16 grown-ups and 14 kids - it was lots of fun! I became pretty tired by 10 and so Mommy convinced me to go to bed a little after that. Adam went to sleep too and so did Matt and Megan. The rest of them played until midnight when quite a few people went home but Gillian and Callie stayed up until 2:15 (when the party ended). Callie even lasted longer than Daddy!
12/13/2007	Mommy and I made more things for our party tomorrow night! I sure like to help her in the kitchen. We had to get some last minute groceries before picking up Callie and then the war began. Callie and I have such a hard time getting along right after school and today was one of the worst days. We just fought about everything and Mommy was not very happy with us. Daddy walked in after work and we were still fighting about who got to set the plates on the table and who did silverware. We got ready for bed after supper and Callie decided to put her earrings back in! Her ears look so much better now and Mommy bought nice gold ones for her to wear. She was only a little nervous and they slipped right in so Mommy was happy it didn't turn out to be some big stressful event.
12/12/2007	I actually went to preschool without crying today - Mommy was very impressed! We worked on our present for our parents so I couldn't tell Mommy what our craft was today. Callie had ballet and I started falling apart so Mommy dropped her off, brought me home for a bath and supper while Daddy picked Callie up and took her out to Taco Bell. She got her costume tonight for her program - it is really cute! I was asleep by 7 and then Mommy snuck out to meet her friend as soon as Callie and Daddy got home.
12/11/2007	Mommy and I stayed home and worked on stuff around here. I was really good about playing by myself while Mommy finished her cards and then we played barbies together. I fell asleep waiting at Callie's school (Mommy can't even remember the last time I did that!) and was still asleep when we got home so she tucked me in to bed. Callie and Mommy made gingerbread boys and oreo balls and then I woke up close to 5! We ate supper and then Mommy started getting ready for her Christmas party she was going to and I cried and cried again. I just am having a hard time being seperated from Mommy lately. Daddy put in the Grinch movie as soon as she left though and I enjoyed that.
12/10/2007	Callie woke up with an upset stomach so she stayed home from school this morning. Mommy took me to school (Callie stayed in the car) but when I got inside I started crying again. Mommy had already told me I had to stay this time so I did but I wasn't happy about it. Daddy still picked me up and we went to McDonalds for lunch while Mommy took Callie back to school - she felt much better. After school we went to Dena's so Mommy could drop something off and then we stayed to play until supper. We headed to the mall to meet Daddy for supper and we sat on Santa's lap! I told him I wanted a princess island barbie (I totally changed my mind at the last minute) and Callie told him to surprise her.
12/9/2007	Mommy had us take baths this morning and then we put on our Christmas dresses to take pictures by the tree for our cards - Callie was having lots of fun posing but I wasn't real thrilled with the whole thing. Finally we could leave to go to shopping. Mommy surprised us yesterday with ALL NEW bathroom things and she needed to run out and get a couple more things so we went with. After lunch she totally redid the room so now it has all pink rugs and towels with fairy princesses! We love it! I had a birthday party at 4:30 and I was very excited because it was at Alisha's house and she even lives close to us. Mommy dropped me off and I had no problems staying and Daddy picked me up at 6:30. We played pin the nose on the snowman, had a candy cane hunt, and played Christmas tree Christmas tree Santa Claus (duck duck goose)! We had ham sandwiches for supper (but I told them no ham so I just had bread and butter) and cake of course.
12/8/2007	Mommy was ready right away this morning to go shopping before the crowds hit and she was home before 11. We went out to eat lunch at the new seafood restuarant that just opened! We came home afterwards and spent all afternoon baking - it was lots of fun. Mommy put on Christmas music and we made cut out cookies (and decorated them), kiss cookies, fudge, and candy molds. We watched a movie with Daddy after supper while Mommy cleaned up and then it was time for bed.
12/7/2007	I started crying about going to school again today and finally Mommy decided to just let me stay home but she said I had to stay in my room and rest on my bed. I actually did the entire time - I just read books and the one time I had to get off to go to the bathroom I even asked if that was ok - Mommy was quite impressed! We met Kim at the mall at 1:30 so I played with Matt and Megan in the playland until it was time to get Callie. Mommy and Daddy were supposed to go on a date tonight but Mommy was so busy cleaning she asked him to reschedule. We went to bed early and they watched a movie when she finally finished.
12/6/2007	Mommy took me to a storytime at the teacher's store today. We made a reindeer craft, listened to the Polar Express, had a snack, made snow, and they gave us a jingle bell! Right before picking up Callie, we went grocery shopping so Mommy could get lots of ingredients for cookies! She said tomorrow is cleaning day and then we will start baking after that so we are ready for our party next weekend! After school we had Gillian and Adam over to play until supper.
12/5/2007	Mommy was going to let Callie sleep in today because of the ordeal last night but Callie had a field trip so she didn't want to. She went to a play (the Jungle Book) at a high school and said it was really neat! I made cookies today with Kissables and hershey Kisses (we are learning about K) and we learned the spanish word for kiss too! It was Robert Frost night at Cici's again so Mommy took us around 4 to eat an early supper before ballet so Callie could get to bed early.
12/4/2007	Today was not a good day. Mommy took me to the library for a puppet show which was really fun but then on the way out I had a big fit. Mommy was really upset with me and then she told me I lost my tv for the day so I was really upset. I ALWAYS watch Mr. Rogers while I eat lunch so I cried forever about that but Mommy didn't change her mind. Later when we were calm Mommy asked me why I got so upset anyway and I told her I was trying to count all the squares on the library floor and she was walking too fast for me to count them all. Then after I was in bed the worst part of Mommy's day happened. She went to clean Callie's earrings and long story short she found out they were infected. They took her to acute care and got an antibiotic and she can't wear her earrings for awhile (and Mommy isn't sure she wants them back in but Daddy does) and then she needs only gold earrings for a long while.
12/3/2007	I had school today and we started learning about the letter K! Mommy helped with Callie's math class and Daddy picked me up. After school was Michelle (the other leader) brought her boys (3 year old twins) so we all looked at books together. Mommy made omeletes tonight and Callie told her they were so good that she should open an omelette shop! That sure made Mommy feel good.
12/2/2007	We got up and started playing Mario games again - we are sure having fun with them. Mommy and Callie went to the Nutcracker after lunch. I was very upset I didn't get to go along. Not so much because I cared about the ballet but because I hate being separated from Mommy. I cried and cried and clung to her leg - Daddy had to pry me off and hang on to me tightly so Mommy could run out the door. After she left I was fine of course and we went shopping and had a snack. Mommy and Callie really enjoyed the performance and then we all met up for an early supper.
12/1/2007	It had snowed during the night and we were very anxious to get outside. Mommy had us wait a little bit since it was only 7am when we first asked! After everyone was dressed we went out and while Daddy snowblowed, Mommy pulled us on the sled and then helped us make a snowman. I decided I wanted to make a snowdog too all by myself! Mommy and I went in because the sleet that was coming down was starting to bother us but Callie stayed out to do another snowman by herself. We mostly stayed home (although Daddy and Callie did run to work quick for him to get something). Mommy got out Daddy's old super nintendo and we played Mario games - even I could play some. Mostly I just thought it was fun to walk Mario around and have him jump up and down. I was quite tired today so I went to bed at 6 and Callie stayed up and hung out with Mommy & Daddy.
11/30/2007	We had snow on the ground when we woke up so we both insisted we had to wear boots to school this morning. It was show-n-tell so I took a picture of Jace for J. After lunch I went to Dena's house because Mommy had a dr appointment. She picked me up and we went to pick up Callie. We weren't home very long (just enough to eat some snow and drink hot chocolate) when Lauren called to see if Callie could come over. I was sad of course but after we dropped her off Mommy let me help unwrap all the ornaments. We put them in each persons 'section' because we all have special ornaments we get to hang up. Callie and Daddy came home and we had tacos for supper and then I couldn't wait any longer - I had to decorate! It was lots of fun and then it was bedtime.
11/29/2007	We met Dena & Adam at Caribou today for coffee and hot cocoa! Afterwards we came home and Mommy set up our Christmas tree - but we don't get to decorate it until tomorrow night when we all can be together!
11/28/2007	I had a bad tummy ache this morning and told Mommy I didn't want to go to school. She kept hoping I would change my mind because she had lots of shopping she was going to do but I didn't. Mommy wonders if I am getting nervous about the Christmas program because we started practicing for it on Monday. After ballet, Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace stopped by to bring us a picture of Jace with Santa Claus!
11/27/2007	It was super cold here today so Mommy didn't want to go anywhere until we had to pick up Callie! After school we had Lauren over to play so we all did crafts together. For supper we decided to go to Chuck E Cheese since we haven't been there in a long time. AND we were sure excited because they have lots of new games and they moved things around too!
11/26/2007	Today we had to go back to school but we were both excited to go. We started learning about the letter J and when Mommy reminded me I was very excited because that means MY picture will be on the letter bulletin board since my name starts with J. Mommy helped at Callie's school - she played a money game with Callie and two other girls for the whole hour! Then she ate there and Daddy picked me up from school and made me a sandwich at home. We had to stop at the grocery store after we picked Callie up and Mommy was impressed because we didn't fight too much there (usually store visits after school are horrible and Mommy tries her best to avoid them). Mommy made chili for supper and we had Uncle Tom & Jace over! Callie went with them to Best Buy afterwards but I stayed home to go to bed.
11/25/2007	We slept in a little this morning and we happy to play while Mommy unpacked and started dragging Christmas decorations out. Daddy took us to Sam's club and then to a movie so we could stay out of her way. She did everything but the tree while we were gone!
11/24/2007	Grandma Ivey made us smiley face pancakes this morning and then we played. After a quick lunch we went with Mommy to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house while Daddy took a nap. We played there for awhile and then said our good byes. We went home to get Daddy and pack up. We were going to go by the great grandmas' homes to visit but I was quite tired and had a huge fit at Grandma Iveys house so Mommy & Daddy decided it was time to head home. We ate supper on the way out of town and then I fell asleep right away. Callie played her gameboy and watched tv for awhile before she went to sleep. Mommy & Daddy carried us in to bed when we got home.
11/23/2007	Happy Birthday Grandpa Ivey! Grandpa left to go hunting this morning and Grandma Ivey went to get her hair cut (she tried to get me to come along but I don't want to go anywhere Mommy doesn't go) so then we went to pick up Callie. She had a fun time on her sleepover! I got there just as they were finishing decorating the little tree we do with Grandma every year. We headed back to town for lunch and went to Enchanted at the mall! It was a great movie although Callie was a little scared during it. Afterwards we headed back to Iveys for supper. We decided to check out the parade of lights downtown and although it was short it was neat because we got lots of candy! After Mommy got us both to bed they snuck out and enjoyed a night out with friends.
11/22/2007	Happy Thanksgiving! Callie and I woke up at 6:30 we were so excited. We went down to eat breakfast and then watched some of the Macy's Day parade until we decided to swim. We had fun swimming and then they surprised us by turning on the slide again this morning so we had to go down over and over again. We had to check out by 11 so we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house for lunch. Uncle Chuck, Jim, and Kevin came too. AND Grandpa got a new dog! Her name is Cosmo so I had to play with her and then I told Mommy we could take the dog home with us but it could still be Grandpa's. When she said that wouldn't work out I told her I wanted a dog for Christmas then. Callie and I were supposed to have a sleepover tonight with Grandma but I was tired and clingy and changed my mind so only Callie stayed and the rest of us went to Grandma and Grandpa Ivey's. I was in bed before 7 so Mommy & Daddy had adult time with Grandma & Grandpa.
11/21/2007	We didn't have school today and Daddy took off of work so we left for Aberdeen this morning! We met Aaron and Alison for lunch at the mall when we got to town and then we checked in at the motel. Grandma and Grandpa Robinson treated Mommy & Daddy for a late anniverary present! It had a great pool with a water slide and a kids pool with a little slide and TWO hot tubs. We swam while Mommy and Daddy watched and then we went out to Grandma's for awhile. We all went to the new Pizza Hut for supper & then back to the motel to swim. They didn't turn on the slide until 7 and Callie wasn't sure she wanted to go by herself. The lifeguard let us sit on Daddy's lap so I went first and then Callie and after one more time with Daddy she was ready to go by herself! She loved it and went over and over. I really loved it too as long as I was on Mommy or Daddy's lap - they would lay down to go faster and I laughed and laughed. We went to bed at 8:30 but it took us until 9 to finally wind down and go to sleep.
11/20/2007	Mommy and I ran errands this morning and then we came home so she could finish laundry before our trip. We had to pick up Callie today and then hurry to Gillian's school to pick her up too (Dena was helping at Adam's preschool harvest party). We got to see Gillian's classroom and her lunchroom too - she showed us all around. We brought her to our house and Dena and Adam came over then too and we all played. Mommy made us an early supper after they left and just as we were finishing Kim came over to borrow a table from Mommy. Andrew and Abby came inside and we all played tag for awhile - Mommy couldn't believe how loud and crazy we were! After they left Mommy put me to bed and after I was sound asleep she and Callie left to go shopping. They stopped at barnes & noble for books and a bedtime snack and then headed home.
11/19/2007	My preschool party was today! Mommy was in charge of the craft and she had us make turkey hats. We cut the feathers and glued all the other pieces on to the hat and then we wore them around our class and did a turkey song with Mrs. LuAnn. We had cookies for snack and played turkey, turkey, stuffing, and Pass The Thankerchief too! After Callie got out of school, it was Brownies. They painted ornaments and drew family pictures today. A new girl started too so now they have 11 girls in their troop (and of course me!). Daddy brought subs home for supper and then we all went to bed early because we were crabby. Well I was supposed to go to bed early but I was having a hard time sleeping by myself so I slept on Mommy's floor (which is very unusual - I hate sleeping other places besides my bed). Mommy even went to sleep at 8 too she was so tired!
11/18/2007	Daddy went and got Mommy coffee this morning and then he worked on his Ebay auctions and studied for his test tomorrow. Mommy painted and we played! After a quick lunch we all went to the Bee Movie - it was really good. We stopped at the store so Callie could pick out her jewelry box finally (I have had mine a long time but she had to wait until her earrings were changed - of course Mommy cheated and did them at night but she was getting sick of her necklaces and earrings laying on her dresser so she let her get it anyway). We came home to play more and then I took my bath before supper so I could get to bed right after. I have my Harvest Party at preschool tomorrow and last year Mommy didn't like helping in my classroom because I got so clingy - she is hoping a good nights sleep will help or prevent that!
11/17/2007	Mommy went shopping by herself this morning so we played and then went to Sams with Daddy. When Mommy got home she made us stay downstairs so she could bring her packages in and when Callie told me it was because she had Christmas presents I wanted to look for them right away. I told Mommy to just give them to me early and then she said I wouldn't have any to open on Christmas then. I said "well you could just buy more!" She didn't go for that idea. Callie and I kept trying to sneak into Mommy's room to look for the gifts so I think she decided she needs to rethink her hiding places this year! We made homemade pizza for supper and then Mommy put Callie's second earring in finally! Now she has two kitty earrings - and if last time was any indication she will have them for a LONG time.
11/16/2007	Mommy didn't have any luck getting the second earring out last night so Callie went to school with one cat and one birthstone (which she told her teacher was the cat's yarn, promting the teacher to say how creative Callie was). We had to drop off Callie's lunch because Mommy forgot to make it and then got coffee and headed to school. I took an insect for show-n-tell today and we had ice cream for a snack. I put whipped cream, sprinkles, and cookie crumbs on mine! When Daddy got home from work we decided to go to Mama's Lada's for supper and then it was time to head home for bed (at least for me - Callie stayed up and played a game).
11/15/2007	Mommy took Callie's earring out last night! She tried to do the other one but she woke up and panicked (although she doesn't remember doing that). She let Mommy put the new one in this morning and Mommy tried to talk her into letting her get the other one changed but she said to just do it tonight while she is sleeping again. I told her I am going to get my ears pierced when I am FIVE and I won't be afraid to change my earrings! We played at Adam's today and then we met Callie for lunch and guess who else was eating there? Alisha (my preschool friend) and her Mommy! I was quite excited to see them. They had pizza and cupcake for hot lunch but I just bypassed the pizza and ate the cupcake. And I was pretty mad because Mommy forgot my straw in the truck (I hate drinking milk out of the carton - it is stinky!) but she told me to get used to it because next year I won't get straws. Callie was only home for a little bit and I was anxiously awaiting her to finish her snack so we could play barbies when the phone rang and Lauren asked her to come over. I was so upset and cried all the way while Mommy took her there. Mommy played house with me when we got home so I was happier then.
11/14/2007	My conferences were today and Mommy was very proud of how well I am doing in school! We talked about I today and a woodworker brought his trailer to school so we could make a project with him outside. One of us went at a time but we aren't telling our parents what we made - it is a surprise! Callie had ballet tonight and found out that they aren't doing the Christmas Tree Festival anymore. They are going to do a Christmas show in December at the Orpheum Theater instead! We went out to the new Pizza Ranch after ballet but we decided Cici's is much better (and cheaper too!). I fell asleep on the way home and Callie practiced her typing. They are learning the exact positions to put your fingers already! Mommy told Callie she was going to change her earrings for her in her sleep because it has been almost three months since she got them pierced and she still won't let anyone change them!
11/13/2007	Callie went back to school today and Daddy back to work so it was just me and Mommy again. We played play-doh for awhile and then I played with my stuffed animals while she did laundry. I like to "read" them stories and as long as Mommy 'pretends' not to listen to me I am quite entertaining but I get really embarrassed if she says anything. After we picked up Callie, we walked to the park to play since it was so nice. Mommy said it seems weird to have it so nice when Christmas is around the corner and it sure is making it hard for her to get into the spirit of things. We ate an early supper because Mommy had a toy party tonight and I just couldn't stand the thought of her being gone two nights in a row so I cried and cried. Mommy could hardly get ready because I was clinging onto her leg and crying. As soon as she left though Daddy was able to cheer me up and we had a good evening together!
11/12/2007	We had dentist appts this morning at 7:30 - Mommy had forgot we had the day off when she made them so she was sad she had to wake us on our day off. We quick got dressed and even Daddy came with since he had the day off too - he hasn't ever been to our dentist before! I was a little scared at first but when I came back out I told Mommy it was fun and I liked it (I go through this every time). Neither of us had cavities but Callie has to go back and get FOUR teeth pulled to make more room for her permanent teeth coming in. We went out for breakfast afterwards and then home to play. It was really nice out so we played house outside with dishes and water and leaves - it was great fun! Mommy worked at a toy booth this evening so after she left Daddy took us to the movie store to rent Meet The Robinsons! We brought home McDonalds and ate supper while watching our movie. Daddy remembered to put me to bed right at 7 so I don't get overtired again.
11/11/2007	I woke up very grumpy today so Mommy knew I was tired and that it was going to be a very long, bad day - and boy was she right. I had a few tantrums and Mommy wasn't even sure I should be allowed to go to my birthday party. Finally she said I could go (mostly because she needed a break) and then when we go there I didn't want her to leave! I became very clingy so Mommy didn't even get to shop. The party was the Backyard Adventures which has four different huge playsets inside so we had fun playing and swinging and going down slides! I played with Ainsley's big sister, Anna, a lot. Afterwards we met Daddy & Callie to buy boots and then we headed home so Mommy could make her ham dinner she was craving. I went to bed at 6:30 so Mommy taught Callie how to play mastermind and then they watched Amazing Race together.
11/10/2007	We were all lazy today and stayed in our pjs until lunchtime. Mommy painted, Daddy studied, and we played. After lunch we went outside to play and then we decided to go shopping for new boots. Except that Callie and I fell asleep on the way to the store so Daddy dropped Mommy off to do a return and then drove to get subs and drove home so we had a nice nap in the car and we woke up to eat supper. We watched The Christmas Story while we ate - we have never seen that before. Callie was stressed watching it (she worried about the boy really hurting himself or getting into trouble) so she went upstairs for awhile but I told Daddy I liked it! Mommy built us a fort with blankets after the movie and we brought sleeping bags in and slept in there for the night (well I woke up at 4 and decided to go back to my bed).
11/9/2007	Callie didn't have school today but I did! I took her horse webkinz for show-n-tell and she & Daddy dropped me off. They came home so Mommy & Callie could go to Caribou while Daddy went to best buy. Callie even had hot chocolate there and they played checkers! Then they went shopping for Ian's gift and came home to wrap it before picking me up. Callie likes to visit with her old preschool teachers so she had to talk a bit and then we dropped her off at Gigglebees for Ian's party! It was an army party and they were going to play lazer tag but Callie and London sat out - they were scared to try it. We picked her up at 2:30 and then we went shopping with Daddy for little toys and supplies for my shoebox from school that we are going to donate to a little girl in another country. I had SO Much fun picking the things out and discussing how she was going to play with each thing. Mommy made us omelets for supper and then Hilschers came over. We played for a long time and a little after 9:30 I told Mommy I was tired and ready for bed. She tucked me in and I fell right asleep while the other kids were still playing! They left at 10:30 and Callie went to bed after that.
11/8/2007	Mommy and I went to storytime today and then met Daddy for lunch. Afterwards we went shopping. Mommy had to go to the craft store so she let me pick out something to paint (and we picked something out for Callie too) and then it was time to pick up Callie from school. We played all afternoon but I was pretty tired and cranky so Mommy had to referee a lot. Daddy was late so we had to eat quickly so he could get to darts on time and Mommy put me to bed at 6:30. Mommy and Callie played a boardgame after that and then they read together.
11/7/2007	Today was Hat day at preschool! I woke up having a bad day though and so it took me a LONG time to be ready for school. First my shoes were bothering me - they weren't tight enough. Mommy wanted me to find other ones but they weren't clip cloppy enough. Finally she had me put on two pairs of socks and then they fit ok. Then my hat wasn't bent the right way and I didn't want help but I kept crying because I couldn't get it right. Then I had issues with my coat and then with the seatbelt. Mommy couldn't run away fast enough after she dropped me off at school! I hadn't mellowed after she picked me up either so she decided it was going to be a tv day (she hoped I would fall asleep but of course that never works). She had bought a cool organizer at Menards for all our craft stuff and she cleaned a shelf off in the basement too so now we have all of our craft things downstairs at our level. When Callie got home we had a blast doing all kinds of crafts. Each drawer has something fun like googly eyes, pom poms, beads, etc. Mommy obviously gets some kind of excitement out of organizing! Callie had ballet (they only have one more practice before their Christmas show!) and then we met Tom, Amber, and Jace at CiCi's for Robert Frost Fundraiser night!
11/6/2007	It was very cold out again today so Mommy wasn't motivated to go anywhere! I had fun playing school while Mommy worked on her toy parties coming up. Then we watched some tv while we ate lunch I LOVE Mr. Rogers and want to watch it every day while I eat, therefore I eat peanut butter sandwiches (I do not like jelly) every day because that is the only lunch food Mommy will let me eat downstairs. We painted after that and had fun with glitter and then it was time to pick up Callie. OH and Callie and Daddy have been having fun listening to short books (podcasts) in the mornings on the way to school every day - she thinks that is great fun! Her teacher also started a challenge spelling group and she is in it so Mommy said they have to start getting used to studying spelling words now because they were so easy before that they didn't bother.
11/5/2007	Mommy took me to school (and brrr was it cold!) and I had to take my new panda lil'kinz of course. She helped in Callie's class and played a new game with some of the students and then ate lunch with them. Daddy picked me up and made me lunch at home. Mommy and I played a game when she got home and then it was time to pick up the brownies so we could go on our field trip! Some of the moms helped drive and we all met in the front office where we donated our bones. A lady took us on a tour and we could pet a very large iguana and we played in the cat room too! Lots of the girls wanted to try to hold the cats so Mommy tried to help them. We went to a room where they are taking Christmas pictures of pets and got our picture taken and then our guide answered questions. Mommy is pretty sure quite a few girls are going to go home tonight and beg for a pet (oops!) We headed back to school after that and dropped off the girls. We raced home for a quick supper and went back to school for conferences. Callie's was wonderful - her teacher finds her very amusing and smart too. We went to the book fair after that and each picked out a book and then it was time to go home to bed.
11/4/2007	Mommy cleaned up the house today while Callie and I played. It was really nice outside so she took all of our halloween decorations down outside and then it was time to set up for the Brownies. We invited them to come over to dip dog bones in almond bark. She let me try it out beforehand because then I had to leave with Daddy. We went to Sam's club and to the painting store but shhh don't tell Mommy because it is a surprise (only I had to tell her we went there but I told her I wouldn't tell her what I painted). The girls came over at 3 and they had great fun dipping and dipping bones. They set them out to dry and then played in the backyard until 4. They put them in Christmas baggies (8 in a bag) and they will donate them to the Humane Society tomorrow so they can sell them for Christmas dog treats.
11/3/2007	Mommy was already dressed and ready to go when I woke up this morning! I hugged her goodbye and she left to go to Pipestone for a Toy Booth. We had breakfast with Daddy, watched some tv, went shopping and then he took us out for lunch. After that we came home and played more until Mommy came home at 4! That was the longest time Daddy has ever had us by himself. We took Mommy out to eat at Olive Garden and then went to the mall so she could buy new clothes at her old store. Callie had enough money (since we got halloween money!) and wanted to buy a new webkinz. She chose a fluffy white cat and then I decided I wanted a new one too. I picked out a panda bear lil' kinz. We came home and entered them on the computer and played. We stayed up late in hopes we would sleep off that extra hour - we will see. . .
11/2/2007	I didn't have school today (inservice) but Callie did so Mommy & I met Dena and Adam at the coffee shop. After we played for awhile Mommy and I went to the Girl Scout Office and then home for lunch. Mommy borrowed some different Discovery Toys so I had fun playing with those while she got ready for her booth tomorrow. We picked up Callie and headed home. We played really good today and then Mommy made us supper - Daddy was out with friends so we ate alone. We watched Survivor and then it was time for bed.
10/31/2007	Happy Halloween! I had preschool but of course they don't celebrate so we just had a normal day. After lunch Daddy came home so Mommy could help with Callie's party and we came to watch the parade. This is Callie's last year parading through the halls but next year I will get to parade through her classroom! Mommy had a bingo station and London's mom did a touch gooey stuff station, and another mom did the snack station. After school we all went to the courthouse museum for trick or treating. There was someone in each room giving out candy and a scavenger hunt too! We saw Gillian & Adam there even. We picked up pizza and met Uncle Tom, Amber and Jace at our house. Jace was a lobster! We all went trick or treating but I was getting tired got mad if I didn't get to ring the doorbell. I didn't even take candy at one house where other kids beat me to it and then at the next house I threw myself down on their driveway so Mommy said it was time to go home. I handed out candy though and I LOVED that - I told Mommy that was much more fun. Jace came back too so just Daddy & Callie went around to more streets. We were up late so Mommy is not looking forward to tomorrow.
10/30/2007	Our party was today! We ate dirt cups with worms, pumpkin muffins, and spider web cookies along with witches brew served out of a cauldron. We played pin the wart on the witch and ghost bowling before splitting up into two groups. The younger ones went outside for a spider hunt with Dena & Kim(Matt & Megan were sure the spiders were real so Matt had to keep checking that they weren't escaping from his bag) while the olders ones went downstairs to the haunted house. Mommy had her vampiress dress on and showed us the lab where she had things to touch: Eyes (olives),noses (soft pepper strips),intestines(spaghetti),Fingernails(cut up pumpkin seeds), and a brain (cauliflower). We screamed and laughed and then saw rats, spiders, webs hanging from the ceiling. The lights were out with only jack-o-lanterns, glow sticks, and battery candles around. We saw the graves with a skull, stepped on a mat that made scary noises, and saw the witche's brew. We opened a spell book that laughed and followed a recipe with rubber eyes, bats, mice, and fingers that mixed together. It was a great time. The younger kids went second with more lights on and then we all played until it was time to go home. Mommy handed out our hand treats(popcorn and candy corn in rubber gloves) and some kids were scared at first. It sure was a fun party!
10/29/2007	We are having review week at school so no new letter. We went to chapel which I told Mommy is 'borin' and we played. Daddy picked me up since it is Monday of course and Mommy ate with Callie after helping in her class. Then we got ready for Brownies and worked in the basement a little bit more - our haunted house is just about done! After Brownies we headed home to play since it was SUPER nice outside. Mommy filled buckets up with water so we could paint the sidewalk but of course we just had fun splashing it all over and then walking in the puddles. Daddy got home and he made macaroni for us while Mommy took Callie to a pumpkin painting party at a new museum. I didn't nap so Mommy said I had to get to bed early and I wasn't sure I wanted to go anyway because they had a haunted house there too. Callie & Mommy ended up skipping that part though. They ate subs after the party and then came home around 8 for bed (I was asleep before 7!)
10/28/2007	Happy Birthday Mommy! Callie was so excited to make breakfast for Mommy that she woke up at 6:30! She waited until 7:30 to go take Mommy's order and then Daddy helped us make it. Coffee, toast, and cereal. I carried the food tray up and Callie brought the coffee. Then we had her come downstairs to open presents - oh and look at the kitchen because Callie decorated it! We picked out our own presents this year. I got a sparkly picture frame for her, Callie got her a snowcone maker (something she told Daddy a month ago she wanted to get Mommy) and Daddy got a cool craft/paint tray that spins around to hold all of Mommy's paints. We went to Red Lobster for a late lunch and then we came home and carved pumpkins. After we cleaned up we decided to have CAKE for supper! Mommy and Daddy were too full to think of another meal and of course we weren't going to argue. We even started playing with the black frosting and giving Mommy a moustache and beard. I think she had a very good birthday!
10/27/2007	Callie and Daddy went to drop off grass this morning while Mommy and I worked on the haunted house downstairs for our halloween party. After lunch Mommy said I had to nap if I wanted to go to ZooBoo because I was crabby. I did and then Mommy took Callie to Libby's birthday party at the Gymnastics Academy. Mommy went shopping all by herself and then picked Callie up at 3:30. I was up by then and Daddy and I went to the dump to drop off our old dehumidifier - there were tons of seagulls there so I had fun watching them! After everyone was back home we got our costumes on and went to Qdoba for supper because kids eat free in their costumes! Then we headed to ZooBoo - we decided to try it in the dark this time and it was really fun. Callie especially liked it - all the jack-o-lanterns were fun to look at and the decorations were neater. By the end though I was getting really tired of standing in line (the downside of it darker is that there are more people). We came home and ate some of our treats and then headed to bed.
10/26/2007	I forgot to tell you that our preschool has a pet bunny named Buffy now! I took Callie's Statue of Liberty Giraffe for G today. I was very excited for 3 to come because I was invited to my very first preschool friend birthday party! I had to go to the dr first and it was getting late so Mommy had to call Daddy to pick up Callie and we got out of the dr's office finally at 2:50 and zoomed to the birthday party. Daddy was waiting for us there so he could give Callie to Mommy. I went in and found my friends in the ballpit (Gigglebees) and Mommy & Callie headed to the Diner downtown for malts. They also shopped downtown a bit and then came back to get me. Of course I wasn't ready to go since I still had tokens left and Callie wanted to stay so we played for awhile and then headed home. We were all too tired to do ZooBoo tonight so we just played at home and went to bed.
10/25/2007	We had the furnace man come today AND we babysat Adam. Adam and I played so well together that Mommy had lots of free time to get some things done. Dena picked Adam up and then Mommy and I ate lunch and of course I wouldn't nap. Callie and I played after school and then we headed to Kmart next door to Daddy's work and shopped until he was off. Callie found her winter coat! Now I still need snowpants and we both need boots - Mommy said she has never had to buy all these things new in one year before (I don't think she was very happy about it either). Daddy met us and then we went to Wendys for a quick supper and to Callie's roller skating party (which is on Daddy's work side of town). Callie brought her rollerblades and tried those this time - she did pretty good on them! Lots of her friends can skate pretty fast now and she really wanted to hang out with them so she told Mommy she was just going to look for the ones who skate like her! I was so excited to see my preschool friend, Alisha, there! It was her first time skating so I had to show off a bit. Daddy took me home a little after 7 (I was NOT happy) and Mommy let Callie stay until 8 when it was done.
10/24/2007	I had a field trip to Grandma El's Pumpkin Patch today. We all picked one pumpkin and then she had cookies for us to eat (on her stairs since we were in her backyard - and I made sure to tell Mommy they were dirty). For some reason I had a complete melt down in the parking lot on the way home today. Mommy isn't sure if something happened at school or if I'm tired or was hungry or what. I only told her it was because she quit talking to me after we got out the door (???). We ate lunch and rested on the couch for awhile and then I seemed better. We picked up Callie and went winter coat shopping - I found one but Callie hasn't yet. We took Callie to ballet and came home to find Daddy mowing. We played outside until he finished and then we ate a really late supper! I didn't get to bed until almost 8 so Mommy is hoping I will nap tomorrow since it's Callie's school roller skating party.
10/23/2007	Mommy and I stayed home this morning and played. We picked up Callie and then Dena, Adam, and Gillian came over to play. It had been a long time since we were all together so we had lots of fun and five-o-clock came way too fast. We had a breakfast supper and then it was time for showers and I went to bed. Mommy and Callie stayed up to play webkinz for awhile and then she read two chapters to Mommy and went to bed too.
10/22/2007	We learned about the letter G today! We also had a fire alarm and it scared us since it wasn't really a scheduled one - even the teachers weren't sure why it went off (until later it was found it was a construction crew) but they just told us it was for practice. We were cold since we didn't have time to get coats so we got in Gabby's mom's van to wait for the firemen to check the building. I told Mommy I was very scared for my lonely friend, Rajah, because he had to stay behind and I didn't want him to burn up! Mommy didn't help at Callie's school today because she wasn't feeling very well so she picked me up today and we hung out at home. Callie and I played outside and tried on our halloween costumes too and then Mommy took us to the mall to meet Daddy & Uncle Tom and Jace for supper while she ran errands.
10/21/2007	We played and did crafts this morning and after lunch Callie got ready for her birthday party! It was for Cassidy and it was at the neat motel with the waterslide and pirate ship! We went shopping and picked her up at 5 - she had a great time but she was still too scared to try the waterslide.
10/20/2007	Mommy had to work at a booth this morning so she left early while we played and ate breakfast. After we were dressed Daddy took us to the book festival (where Mommy was) and we went to all the booths and got our free book. We did lots of crafts there and saw Clifford and Curious George (well Callie did - I don't like things like that). Daddy took us shopping for Mommy's birthday present after that and then we went home to eat lunch and wait for Mommy. We played all afternoon and went out for a late supper at a steak restauarant. Callie ate almost her whole kid sized steak! We didn't get done eating until almost 8pm so when we got home it was very dark and Mommy said if we wanted, we could go on walk in the dark. We found our flashlights and had a lot of fun outside!
10/19/2007	We had our fieldtrip to the firestation today! And I took my light-up frog for show-n-tell. I told Mommy that there weren't any girl firefighters OR fire dogs. Mommy picked me up and we headed to school to meet Daddy. He took me out for lunch today while Mommy read to the first and second grade classes (the same book six different times!). Mommy met us back at home and then we played dolls until it was time to pick Callie up from school. She quick wrapped Ann's gift and we had to drive her over to Ann's house for her birthday party. Mommy and I went shopping, picked up Daddy back at home and then went to get Callie. Ann's power went out during the party - right as they were getting ready to make homemade personal pizzas! So Ann's dad had to run to Pizza Hut instead but they still had fun in the dark. Callie and I were pretty tired so we skipped Family Fun Night (which I was very upset about) and headed home for bed.
10/18/2007	Daddy bought us Doodlebop tickets yesterday - yippee!! Mommy and I went to storytime today and we saw my old preschool friend Olivia. It rained again all day (boy are we getting sick of rain) so it was a good movie day. Daddy picked up Callie for lunch and took her to Dairy Queen today - she was very excited. She even had a dipped cone for dessert. We went grocery shopping after we picked up Callie and then home to play. Mommy made chili while Daddy gave us a shower and then we ate in our pjs.
10/17/2007	I had to ask Mommy this morning if she heard Daddy snoring last night because it woke me up! She thought that was very funny (because it woke her up too). We talked about fire safety in preschool today so I told Mommy all about how to stop, drop, and roll. We had ice cream treats for a snack too - I told them I don't really like ice cream but I still ate some of it. Callie wanted to see Mrs. Davids today after school - she really misses her - so we stayed after to visit. We dropped Callie off at ballet tonight and headed home to make supper so Daddy picked her up on the way home from work. He is going to be getting a new client soon but he doesn't know who yet!
10/16/2007	I forgot to tell you that on the way to school yesterday we had to wait for a train that was stopped! We waited a long time and everyone was turning around and leaving so finally Mommy did too. She told me she was going to figure out a way around the train and then head back to school but that really worried me. I started crying and told her we should just go home because I didn't want to get lost! I have a real issue with getting lost for some reason. Luckily Mommy knew where she was going and got me to school! Today we went shopping and Uncle Tom brought Jace over around 2 so we could babysit. Ann's mom brought Callie home and we played with Jace until 5:30 when Amber came to pick him up. He is sure getting big and smiles & laughs all the time too!
10/15/2007	We learned about F today in school. Mommy helped in Callie's class and ate lunch with her so Daddy picked me up and ate with me. Callie had a fun gym class today - she was on a team of five and they had to figure out how to get across the 'river' (gym) with only the things the teacher gave them. She said it was very tricky! It was time for a Brownies meeting after school and today we made halloween crafts. Mommy is very proud of how I sit down and do the activities with the girls and let Mommy teach. We came home to play after the meeting and ate supper with Mommy because Daddy is in Mitchell at a meeting tonight. She played a game with each of us and then put us to bed.
10/14/2007	Callie woke up while she was sleep walking early this morning and it really scared her so she had a hard time going back to sleep. Mommy made us muffins and we watched more Addams Family episodes! Callie and I played and played while Daddy slept (he is not feeling well) and Mommy worked around the house. Then we decided we wanted more spending money so we asked Mommy if she would pay us $2 for each job we did ($1 for each of us). She thought that was awfully expensive so she said 25 cents for each of us. Our first job was to take all the laundry downstairs and sort it by color - we did a fantastic job! Later we cleaned up our whole playroom all by ourselves (and it was MESSY). Mommy was very impressed so we each got 50 cents extra - yippee! We ate supper on TV trays while we watched Survivor and then it was time for baths and bed.
10/13/2007	We slept in until almost 8 this morning and then we played until lunch time. After we ate we headed to Norfolk to visit Great Grandma Sunderman - her birthday is tomorrow! She was at Mommy's Aunt Charlene's house (which we love because she has a great toy closet)and Grandma & Grandpa Robinson were there too. We ate birthday cake, played downstairs for awhile, played Shuffleboard with Daddy, and then it was time to go. We changed into our pjs, stopped at Sonic for supper, and headed home. We were both asleep by 7:30 and Mommy & Daddy carried us in to bed when we got home.
10/12/2007	I took Daddy's elephant webkinz for Show-n-tell today. We did exercises too! Mommy picked up Grandma after she dropped me off and they went shopping all by themselves. Grandma came with to pick me up so she could see my school and then Grandpa was back at the house when we got home. We ate lunch and then they left so they could get to Nebraska before supper. We picked up Callie and Mommy had rented Addams Family episodes for us! Mommy and Daddy got all ready for their date and then packed our bag for Kids Night at the Y! We have never tried it out before but Erkonens were going too so we were excited (and a little nervous). It started at 5:30 and we played in a big playgym with a slide, we ate Cici's pizza at 6, then we watched a magic show, changed into our suits and swam, came back to the gym to play, color, and have a snack! Our parents went out for dinner together and came back to pick us up at 9. We had a lot of fun and want to do it again!
10/11/2007	Mommy and I went to pick up Grandma this morning and we went shopping. Of course since it was late last night and I woke up early I was very tired so it didn't go very well. I threw a huge fit on the floor of Kohls. Mommy got mad and took me outside and told me I was too old for this stuff and then it dawned on her that today I am 4 1/2! This made me happy for some reason so I quit crying. We went to lunch after that and then I fell asleep on the way home. I napped for an hour and then when I woke up we picked Callie up from school and went to the motel to swim! We had a lot of fun and I was in a much better mood. We left at five so we could get home to eat, shower and go to bed early!
10/10/2007	I forgot to tell you that I had my eye appointment yesterday and the Dr. said I was doing very good with my patch - my bad eye has gotten lots better! I am still going to keep using it to see if I can catch it all the way up to my good eye. We talked about E in preschool today. Grandma and Grandpa Robinson called just as we were leaving to get Callie - they were in town for Grandpa's meetings tomorrow! We picked up Callie and headed to their motel to hang out. Grandma came with us to take Callie to ballet and she watched her do her performance at the end (we always get to watch the last five minutes and they are practicing their Christmas song) then we met Daddy for supper. Grandma came over after that and read me my bedtime story and then listened to Callie read her bedtime story and then Mommy took her back to the motel.
10/9/2007	Callie had to go back to school and Daddy back to work so I was lonely today. AND Mommy decided to clean so I had to play all by myself. After we picked up Callie from school though, Mommy had some neat crafts planned. We painted a box to make it look like a haunted house and Mommy cut out windows and doors then we made ghosts with kleenex to stick out the windows! While that was drying we worked on a big garbage bag spider to put on our lawn. He is cool - long legs and a big body and head! We sure had fun helping tape him all together and we surprised Daddy when he got home. We ate supper right away and then Mommy had a toy meeting so Daddy put us to bed.
10/8/2007	We slept in today until 8 so Mommy was very happy about that. Daddy mowed while Mommy cleaned the garage and the cars out so Callie and I played outside. It was very nice out! We set out all our pumpkins and Scarecrow Joe too. Daddy grilled chicken kabobs with pineapple tonight and Callie thought they were yummy! I just ate my peanut butter sandwich of course.
10/7/2007	Callie woke up very excited and came downstairs to show us what the tooth fairy brought - two $1 coins! We played after breakfast and then Daddy and I went with Grandma to the grocery store to get things for lunch. Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin came over to eat with us too! Later we visited Great Grandma Ivey and then we went out to Grandma Robinson's to get our pumpkins. We packed our car after that, ate out with Grandma & Grandpa Ivey and headed home. Callie and I were both asleep by 7:30 and only Callie woke up for a few minutes when we dropped Daddy off at the bar so he could catch the end of a concert and meet his friend. Mommy took us home and carried us to bed and even all the thunder and lightening that started right after we got home didn't wake us.
10/6/2007	We woke up and packed for our trip to Aberdeen and then after breakfast we were on our way! We went to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's first and we had lots of fun picking our pumpkins out. Callie ate a pear there and her tooth fell out! We didn't even know it was that loose so it was a surprise. We ate supper after that and then we walked down to our friends' house and saw their brand new puppy. She was very cute. Cason and Colin showed us all their webkinz and then we walked back to get ready to go. Callie went to get her tooth out of the glass and OH NO - Grandma had washed it not realizing a tooth was in there. So the tooth went down the drain. Grandma felt very very bad but Callie said she would just write a note to the tooth fairy - I guess the fairy is getting used to Callie not having teeth to give her! We headed to Grandma and Grandpa Ivey's and went to bed.
10/5/2007	I took my Doodlebops cd for show-n-tell and we were able to play drums and other instruments along with one of the songs!! We had donuts for our snack and we even paid for them with dollars and dimes! We made a doorhanger for a craft too. Mommy and I played Polly Pockets today and the we picked up Callie from school. She was in a good mood so we had lots of fun playing until it was time for Alex's birthday party. I rode my bike there while Callie and Mommy walked and then we came home to find Daddy home from work! We went out for supper, came home for stories and then I went to bed. Mommy walked back to get Callie at 8 and they had fun walking home in the dark. The party was lots of fun - they played many games and Callie won some fun prizes. Oh and they had noodles for supper too.
10/4/2007	We took Callie to school this morning and then Daddy to work because his car was in the shop. Then we went shopping and to storytime at a different library since we missed on Tuesday. We came home for lunch and played until it was time to get Callie. She told us Ms. Ahlbrecht asked her if she would mind if the class made fun of her a little bit. Callie said no so they wrote a story about Callie and how she wanted her ears pierced and then how she couldn't wait to change them into her cute cat earrings and then she got scared and couldn't do it. It was a pretty funny story and it is all typed and the front is dedicated to Callie and the long long wait they have to endure to see the kitty earrings. She brought it home for us to see and then she had to take it back. Mommy thought maybe she would change them tonight so the class could finish the story tomorrow but no luck!
10/3/2007	We had stories about dentists and doctors today in preschool. We also did a color by number picture! I have been very happy this week that they have the barbies out (they rotate toys each week). Callie had a good day at school too. She still wont't change her earrings though - she was so good about cleaning and twisting them every day and now she is just scared. She had ballet tonight and then we ate at Cici's Pizza because it was Robert Frost Night there!
10/2/2007	We didn't go to storytime today - Mommy had lots of things to do around the house and I told her I was fine with staying home. We played Bingo and stuffed animals in between laundry and I even helped Mommy change all the sheets! Callie's friend, Alex, stopped over after school to sell us popcorn (he is a cubscout). After supper we played games together - I chose Hi Ho Cherry O and Callie chose checkers. OH and Mommy wanted to share how I obviously watch too many reality shows: At lunch I asked Mommy what Grandpa's bank was called. She told me Plains Commerce and then I asked her if he named it that. She explained how there are people who have meetings and vote on things like that so they probably picked the name with the most votes. I then asked "so if they didn't pick a person's name then does that person get voted out and can't work there anymore?"
10/1/2007	I had my school pictures taken today! Mommy put up the October Bulletin Board while I was at school and then she helped with Callie's math class. She ate lunch there too and Daddy picked me up from school and we had sandwiches at home together. Mommy and I played after lunch and then it was time for Brownies! I was excited to be a "crumb" again. After supper we went to the bike path and took a long walk. Mommy brought a sheet with different kinds of leaves so we tried to find some of them but the best part of the walk was when we saw a deer! It was very close to the bike path in some trees and it didn't even run away - it just kept eating. I waved good bye to her and then we headed home for bedtime.
9/30/2007	Callie was up right away and wanted Mommy to wake up to change her earrings - it has been 6 weeks! But then when Mommy was ready, Callie got nervous and cried and changed her mind. Callie and I played all day - barbies, school, and we did crafts. Mommy painted her village houses and Daddy was busy putting more things on Ebay (he has been selling lots of things!). Daddy decided to take us to Surf's Up while Mommy went shopping for bulletin board things (she has to put up October's tomorrow at Callie's school). The movie was really funny - we came home and told Mommy all about how a penguin had to pee on another penguin's foot! Mommy made supper and then it was time for baths and bed (but only after our snack of caramel apples!).
9/29/2007	We played all morning and then Mommy tried to get us to nap so we could be up later tonight but Callie only rested and I only slept for 30 minutes. We started getting ready for the wedding and all of a sudden Mommy realized it was much later that she thought so we RUSHED! Daddy drove fast and we pulled into town at 3:55 and were in the church doors at 3:58 - phew! (lucky for us the town was super small and the church was pretty much the first thing you see) The bridesmaids' dresses were very pretty and so was the bride. We all stood outside the church for awhile and visited. Grandpa Robinson was there (Grandma couldn't come because of her neck/back) and so was Uncle Chuck, Aunt Karron, and Jim. The wedding party took pictures after the service so we were bored and decided to find a gas station for snacks and then we headed over to the reception to wait. Finally someone told us the wedding party was heading over so we should wait outside for them - we did and they all came on 4-wheelers, even the bride and groom! It looked fun. We ate supper and talked to more people. I was pretty crazy and danced for Aunt Karron and Jacque - Mommy couldn't believe how I wasn't shy at all. Callie sat on Uncle Chuck's lap to watch the slide show and then it got late so I started to get tired. We decided to leave right as the dance was starting and Callie and I both fell asleep on the way home.
9/28/2007	It was show-n-tell today so I took my black webkinz cat (for C). We made clowns out of circles, cereal, and cupcake liners and for snack we had cookies! Instead of going to the gym we went outside to play since it was so nice. I told Mommy we like to pretend the fort is a ship and the rocks are the ocean and we take turns being the shark. I also told Mommy that Tate has decided he wants to marry me instead of Alexis but I think he can just be my boyfriend because I am still going to marry Andrew. Callie had her playground dedication today at school and they had a big program outside. Her other front tooth was so loose when she came home but she didn't want to pull it. It even started bleeding and she cried! We had pizza and watched Survivor and finally when we were eating dessert, it fell out!! She caught it in her mouth this time (instead of swallowing it) so she left it out for the tooth fairy. Mommy said she is going to talk funny now with two front teeth missing.
9/27/2007	Mommy and I took Callie to school and then we went to a rummage sale. Mommy went there to look for clothes for Callie but she didn't like anything however I found a Barbie that I just had to have so Mommy let me get it! We stopped for groceries after that and then came home for lunch. We had to meet Daddy at the fix-it shop after that so Mommy could drop off her truck and then we took Daddy back to work in the car. Mommy and I put up almost all of the Halloween decorations before getting Callie (she told us she wanted to be surprised) and then we came home to play. We were both very tired today so we weren't getting along very well and Mommy was quite ready for supper to be over with so we could have our showers and get to bed. I was asleep by 7 and Callie by 7:30.
9/26/2007	My field trip to the Apple Orchard was today and it was a great day for it! We rode on the tractor ride, played in the haystacks, and picked out 6 apples to bring back. We had apple slices for a snack and I told Mommy I even ate them with skin on! Daddy met Callie for hot lunch today so she was excited about that. I helped Mommy pull out all her halloween decorations because we are going to decorate soon - I had fun playing with everything in the basement. After school Callie and I played outside on our scooters until it was time to go to ballet. Daddy met us there to pick me up and go eat at the mall with Uncle Tom. We even babysat Jace while Tom got his hair cut! Mommy and Callie ate at Jimmy Johns on the patio and had a great time visiting. We met back at home and looked at the neat Harvest Moon and then went to bed.
9/25/2007	I had storytime today and then Mommy and I found a few Halloween books. I think I am going to be a black cat this year! After lunch we went shopping and I kept asking for toys that I saw. Mommy said no every time and I said "darn it" every time - which Mommy thought was pretty cute. After the fourth time I told her "I guess today is just a darn it day" She did let me pick out a treat so I picked candy corn - yummy! I even shared with Callie when we picked her up from school. I played some games with Mommy tonight and then I went to bed so I can be ready for our field trip tomorrow!
9/24/2007	Callie took the pencil sharpner to school that she and Daddy bought yesterday for Ms. Ahlbrecht. Mommy had to sharpen pencils last week for the class and she couldn't stand the old fashioned crank one and she wrecked quite a few of the kids' pencils so she said we needed to buy an electric one. Mommy went to help today and Ms. Ahlbrecht was very happy. I learned about the letter C today and then Daddy picked me up and he made me a sandwich at home. Mommy met us after she ate with Callie and then she had to get ready for her big room parent meeting. She dropped me off at Uncle Tom's and went to school while we went to the mall! I helped Tom get Jace new outfits, we saw Amber and then after school Callie and Mommy met us for cookies. We went back to Tom's to get my stuffed penguin and watched Jace eat cereal and peas!! He was sure getting messy but he seemed to like them. Callie and I were both worn out so we ate and went to bed early. I told Mommy I was having a bad day (after having many crying fits after supper) and that I don't like having bad days.
9/23/2007	Mommy got tired of doing PTA work today so she took out her village pieces and started painting while Callie and I did crafts too. Daddy mowed and then we all went to play mini golf! Callie really wanted to eat Chinese afterwards so we went out for supper and then home to bed.
9/22/2007	Callie and Lauren woke up at 6:15! Callie asked if they could just read in their room and Mommy mumbled yes - I didn't even hear them. At exactly 7am they came back out and told Mommy they were hungry and I woke up right after that. Mommy made us chocolate chip pancakes and fruit smoothies - yummy! Then we played all morning. Lauren's dad came to pick her up around 10:30 - Callie was very sad to see her go. Mommy hoped we would nap, especially Callie, but the only person that did was Daddy! We played, went shopping with Mommy, and then we went to a Taste of SD festival at Fall's Park and saw Mrs. LuAnn there! She was there with her husband but I wanted to know why Mrs. Blythe wasn't there too. Daddy made supper and then we went to bed early tonight.
9/21/2007	I took a beaver to show-n-tell today. Daddy had the day off work so he took a test this morning and then went to eat lunch with Callie. Later Daddy and I went to pick Callie up from school! And finally after 4, Lauren came over! We played Barbies (I was so happy they let me play) and then we all went to Dairy Queen for supper. Callie and Lauren ate by themselves on a little table so I was kind of sad but Mommy told me she would be really lonely if I wasn't there to keep her company. We came back home and Mommy made me a little bed on the floor of her room. We read books and then I fell asleep while Callie and Lauren played downstairs. They did crafts, watched tv (with popcorn) and then got their sleeping bags ready. Mommy let them read for awhile and then at 9:45 she had them turn the lights out and they were asleep by 10:15.
9/20/2007	This morning Mommy and I went shopping. I found a new dress, we picked out some halloween crafts, and we bought groceries. We came home and rested and watched some tv (it sure is nice to have our TV working again!) and then we picked up Callie. Mommy called her friend's mom to see if she (Lauren) can sleep over tomorrow night and she said YES! Callie is super excited and I am too because I keep reminding Callie that I am sort of her friend too. I really wanted them to sleep in my room but Callie said NO. I was sad but Mommy said I can sleep in her room instead and we can have our own party. We met Daddy at Callie's school for the Pizza Picnic! We ate by Ann and her mom and as we were leaving I saw my friend, Alesha (her sister is a third grader) so I gave her a big hug.
9/19/2007	Mommy took me to preschool today and when I got there I realized I forgot my "lonely friend" which was going to be my penguin. I had set him down when I put on my shoes and forgot to pick him back up. I cried and cried. Mommy tried to distract me with the school's stuffed animals but nothing was working (remember how she said she would regret me being tired this morning. . . ) so finally she said she would go home and get him. The teachers even felt so bad for me that while she was gone they found a penguin coloring page for me to color! When Mommy came home I gave her a big hug and told her I loved her! She then headed to Callie's school for more PTA work and then went to reward herself with a coffee. Callie had ballet after an early supper and then we came home and played games. I am very good at Memory now and I beat Mommy both times!
9/18/2007	I forgot to tell you that the tooth fairy DID come! Callie woke up and found two quarters and a pair of earrings in her tooth box. Daddy has been taking Callie to school (Mommy and I are just not very good morning people) so we hung out in our pjs for awhile. At 10 there was a preschool story time at the library so Mommy signed me up and Dena and Adam came too! We get nametags every week and our moms can even go look for grown-up books during it if they want (but of course I don't want Mommy to leave). I stayed very close and didn't even do too much of the dancing or finger plays. Mommy thinks it is funny how it used to be Callie up close the librarian doing all the stuff and Gillian hanging back by Dena and now Adam is up there doing everything and I am hanging back by Mommy! We came home for lunch and I wanted to play Star Wars but first I had to color sheets of "grass" for the people to play on. We picked up Callie and like most afternoons we need about two hours for Callie to unwind and for us to start playing. By five we were having so much fun and we hardly wanted to stop for supper and then again for bed. Mommy let us play until 7:30 and then by the time I had my snack and we read it was 8 so she figures she will regret that tomorrow. .
9/17/2007	Today we learned about the letter B in school! I had to take my new webkinz that I got this weekend. I reached my 30 stars for wearing my patch and I got to choose between a Chuck E Cheese supper or a webkinz so I decided I wanted the black cat like Callie has. I always take a 'lonely friend' with to preschool so today I took Scary. Mommy helped in Callie's math class again and ate lunch with her so Daddy picked me up! I went to Dena's house today to play because Mommy and Callie had their first Brownies meeting today after school. The other leader's little boy was sick so Mommy was by herself but they still had fun! When they picked me up Callie wanted to stay and play so we did for a little bit and then we met Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace for supper! And guess what? Our TV is finally fixed!! The fix it man came and finished it up today - yippee!
9/16/2007	We went to the apple festival today! Callie and I helped pick apples and we even rode the hayride back to the main area. We had rootbeer floats and watched Phil Baker sing and then we headed home. I was so tired I asked Mommy if I could sleep on the way home and sure enough I fell fast asleep. When I woke up Daddy was fixing our toilet and I was so excited to see how it all worked. Callie and I flushed it over and over and watched it fill up. We watched some of the Emmys with Mommy tonight and guess what? Callie was eating an apple from the apple orchard and she swallowed her loose tooth! It came right out and she didn't even know it - all of a sudden she just felt the opening with her tongue and we couldn't find the tooth anywhere so she figured she must have swallowed it! She wrote a note to the tooth fairy and she is sure hoping she will come anyway.
9/14/2007	It was show-n-tell today for the letter A and I couldn't decide what to take so I took my small plastic alligator and my webkinz named Arnie! I got a bloody nose in the gym today and so Mrs. LuAnn helped me - I told her I had one before so I knew about them. We had animal crackers for our snack! Mommy felt much better today so she cleaned the house while I was gone. After lunch I helped her do the mirrors and vacuum the steps - it was so much fun! We picked up Callie and she was so busy talked to Derek that she walked right by our truck so I had to get out and run after her. We played all afternoon and when Daddy came home we went to Red Rosa and then came home to watch Open Season. I got tired 1/2 way through it so I went to bed and although Callie finished watching it she told Mommy it was too sad and she didn't like it.
9/13/2007	Mommy didn't feel good at all today so we mostly laid in bed and watched tv. I played dr and tried to fix her and brought her food from my restuarant. We went and got Callie and then I had someone to play with! Daddy came home and we ate supper and then it was time for my bed and for him to start Darts. Mommy and Callie read together for awhile and then they both went to bed.
9/12/2007	Today we painted with our paint sets and we went to chapel. I took Mrs. LuAnn and Mrs. Blythe crafts that I had made them. Mommy worked at Callie's school again and she went home for awhile too before picking me up. We played village after lunch and then picked up Callie. She is feeling better but still not back to normal so she decided to stay home from ballet (and since Mommy started feeling icky she was quite ok with that). Mommy made enchiladas tonight and Callie actually tried one and liked it! Daddy gave us baths and then Mommy read stories to us and we all went to bed (Mommy too because she is getting sick).
9/11/2007	Mommy wasn't sure Callie was going to go to school today because she woke up last night feeling very congested and having a sore throat so Mommy sat up with her for awhile. She decided she was ok to go though. We had Dena and Adam over this morning to play and we had a lot of fun dressing up and playing picnic while our Mommies talked. After lunch I played with play-doh while Mommy worked on her PTA papers. We picked up Callie and she was feeling pretty miserable so she asked Mommy if she could just lay down and read - Mommy told her to just put her pjs on and get comfy too. I was upset because I had really wanted to play so Mommy had to try to find things for me to do. Later Callie and I watched tv together and then Daddy brought home subs because Mommy needed to keep working on PTA things (and she had piles of papers all over our kitchen) and then she had to go to a Discovery Toy Meeting. Daddy played a game with us and put us to bed.
9/10/2007	I was excited to go back to preschool! We talked about the letter A today and stamped different animals on a sheet of paper and we practiced writing the big A and little a. Mommy started helping in Callie's class today (math!) so she played math games with groups of students in the hallway and then she ate lunch with Callie so Daddy picked me up! I was very tired again but Mommy couldn't get me to sleep - she even tried laying down with me but I wouldn't do it. I had lots of fits today and silly Mommy took me and Callie to the store afterschool to exchange something and it didn't go well. We were fighting and complaining and she had a huge headache by the time she got home. The rest of the afternoon didn't go well either. Just as Daddy was getting home Mommy realized it was quiet and she found Callie reading and me ASLEEP! I slept through supper and through the night - well until about 5am when I had to go to the bathroom and wanted a glass of milk. I guess I was tired after all!
9/9/2007	I asked Mommy last night if we could go to church today so Mommy thought it would be fun to take us to the church we were baptised at since neither of us remembered it. We went out for brunch afterwards and then came home to play. We took early baths and Daddy mowed while we ate an early supper then Mommy read to us and we played games until bed.
9/8/2007	We didn't sleep in of course so Mommy said we would have to nap later if we wanted to go to the races tonight - we weren't happy. After lunch we went to the Sidewalk Festival! Daddy helped us at the kids' craft booths while Mommy shopped. She met us at the stage for a snack and to watch the jump rope performance. After it was over we saw Gillian & Adam! Daddy took us inside the Pavillion (it was free today) while Mommy finished shopping. We came home and were fast asleep by 3 and we didn't wake up until 5:30! We had a quick supper and headed to Brandon for the races. We were having a great time and watched about an hour of racing when they waved the red flag. We didn't know why at first but then Callie saw lightening and the announcer said a storm was coming. We got to our car just in time because it started pouring - it took forever to get out with everyone trying to leave but finally we were home!
9/7/2007	Happy Birthday Great Grandma Anglin! I was very excited to go back to school today! We dropped Callie off and came home and I kept asking Mommy if it was time to go yet. It was show-n-tell day and we were supposed to bring pictures of our families. I told Mommy I had to bring one of the cats too because they are our family too. We picked up Callie and she bought the new Halloween Black Cat webkinz with her money! Mommy was very excited because Daddy was taking her on a date so she got all ready and when he came home they took us to daycare. They went out to eat and then met some of Daddy's work friends for drinks. We had fun playing, coloring, and having a snack. They picked us up at 9 and we went home and right to bed!
9/6/2007	Mommy put my bike in the truck on our way to drop off Callie and then we went to the bike path! She walked/jogged next to me while I rode - it was fun. I played at the park for awhile and then we had come home for the TV fix it guy to come. He still couldn't fix our tv so it will be next week before he can come back with the right part - Daddy is going CRAZY! We picked up Callie and found out Derek could come over to our house (she had called him last night). They didn't want me to play so I cried and cried and got very angry. Mommy played with me instead (as she was thinking how play dates are too much work).
9/5/2007	I started school today!! I was so excited and kept asking Mommy all morning if it was time to go yet. Needless to say the drop off was quick and Mommy went to work at Callie's school. She picked me up and took me to Sonic (my choice) for lunch. On the way home I asked her if I could nap - she about went off the road! I fell asleep before we even got there and so she still had all afternoon to herself. We picked up Callie and found out she walked a mile today at school. They have a new track painted and they have to go around it 8 times to make a mile and then they can get a card punched for prizes. She can do a few laps each recess as long as it is all in one day. Since I napped and wasn't tired, Daddy took me on a walk after Callie's ballet while Mommy put Callie to bed.
9/4/2007	Callie went back to school today so I wasn't very happy about that. She was so excited when Mommy dropped her off that she started running away from the car without even giving Mommy a hug or kiss! Mommy and I cleaned the garage this morning, went on a walk, and then played village until lunch time. After lunch we went shopping and picked up Callie from school. I was quite tired by then so we didn't get along very well so Mommy was happy when Daddy got home. We ate supper and went to the park to play for awhile. I was in bed early and Callie and Mommy had silent reading time together!
9/3/2007	Callie and I both slept in until 9! We played all morning and then after lunch Daddy took Callie shopping. I decided I wanted to stay home and play instead. Mommy was working on PTA things so I just had fun playing by myself so Mommy was very proud of me. We took baths early and then ate supper and watched Big Brother together (in Mommy and Daddy's bedroom since our big tv is still broken!).
9/2/2007	We woke up to thunder this morning at 7:30 and I asked Mommy if it was really thunder or if it was a dinosaur. Grandma and Grandpa took us to breakfast but this time they told Mommy and Daddy they should meet us there. I didn't really want them to come but they did and of course it turned out to be a bad idea because I started getting really cranky and clingy then. We all went to Falls Park after that and Jace & Uncle Tom met us there. After Amber got off work we went out for lunch at CiCi's and then headed back to our house. We said good bye to Grandma & Grandpa and then we packed up our cooler & camping grill and headed out to Palisades to eat with Erkonens. They had a campsite right next to the playground so we played over there while our parents visited and then after we ate we went hiking and rock climbing! The trails were on the other side of the campgrounds so Scott drove us over in the pick-up and all the kids and our moms rode in the BACK! Callie was super excited since we have never done that before. Mommy and Kim told us they used to do that a lot when they were kids but it just isn't allowed anymore - darn! Climbing was fun and then we had a fire & roasted smores and played in the dark until it was time to head home. Callie and I changed into our pjs and fell asleep on the way.
9/1/2007	I went shopping with Daddy this morning and Mommy went with Callie so she could new clothes. They saw cute cowgirl boots at Target so they called us and Daddy ran me over there so I could get some too (Callie had picked out her pair before we got there). After lunch Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came over! Amber brought Jace over too and when Uncle Tom got off work we all went out for supper together. We went to the bookstore after that and Grandma bought us new books and then we went home to play and go to bed.
8/31/2007	Callie had today off school! We went to the zoo this morning with Gillian & Adam and then we all went out for lunch together. At 2 we had Callie's friend Kathryn and her sister Libby, come over to play. We had a lot of fun! After supper Daddy mowed so we played outside and then Callie went to her room to read - she really loves reading!
8/30/2007	After we took Callie to school, we met Dena and Adam at the coffee shop. Mommy had to stop back at school to pick up more PTA papers and then we headed home for awhile. She tried to get me to nap but I just didn't want to so I played outside. After awhile I started getting very cranky so she decided it was "time to pick up Callie" and of course I fell asleep right away. I guess she parked in a nearby park so she could read and let me sleep and then I woke up when we pulled up at the school to get Callie for real. Daddy ate lunch with Callie today so she told us all about that. After supper it was time for my Open House! I was very excited and Callie had fun seeing the teachers again too - she had to show them her earrings! She is doing great at cleaning and turning them every day. I saw my old friends and we had fun playing and being silly together.
8/29/2007	Mommy and I went shopping this morning and I found three new dresses! I told Mommy I am wearing one tomorrow for my open house (which I am very excited for!) We came home for lunch and played before going to get Callie. We met her on the playground this time because she wanted to show us some new things she can do on the equipment. Callie had ballet tonight and Daddy met us there so we could all eat at KFC afterwards.
8/28/2007	Mommy and I ate lunch with Callie today! They were having pancakes and I thought they were very yummy. It started raining while we were there so they didn't have recess and we had to walk in the rain to our car. The TV fix-it man came and worked on our tv while Mommy helped with me with some crafts. We had a quick supper tonight because Mommy had to leave for a PTA meeting so Daddy played games with us and put us to bed.
8/27/2007	I was pretty tired so Daddy decided he could take Callie to school so I could sleep in. Callie wasn't sure she was ready for another week of school but Mommy reminded her it's only four days this time! I didn't wake up until almost 8am and then Mommy played village with me in between laundry. We had to go to Callie's school before lunch so she could do some more PTA work. All afternoon I kept asking Mommy if it was time to get Callie yet - I really miss her when she is at school! Finally it was time to get her and then we played in the backyard in the little pool and ran through the sprinkler. Mommy put the sprayer on the hose and hooked it up so it came down from the roof of our fort and we had a 'shower'. Plus we went down the slide while it was spraying on us too - that was fun! We grilled pizzas tonight like we did when we camped (except this time was on the grill instead of the fire) and then it was time for reading and bed. Oh and Callie has been having testing in gym too - last time she had to run for seven minutes and this time she had to jump rope forwards 150 times, backwards 50 times, and crisscross 25 times!
8/26/2007	Daddy mowed today and we played at home. Mommy had told us we could go swimming today since it was the last day the pool was opened and it was supposed to be 84 out. It just kept getting cooler after lunch, not warmer but she promised and we still wanted to go so we did. BRRR it was chilly - I didn't last long but Callie loved it. Daddy even came with but he didn't last long either. Dena, Gillian, & Adam came later and then finally at 4 we decided it was time to go home. We took baths while Daddy grilled and then we ate supper in our pjs.
8/25/2007	We went with Daddy to get his haircut this morning and then we stopped and watched a firefighter competition! It was really cool and we told Mommy all about it. After lunch, Daddy and Callie went shopping for earrings (for when she can start changing hers which won't be for awhile) but Mommy and I stayed home to play. When they came home we rode our bikes, scooters, and had fun outside until supper. We met Jason, Alyssa, and Abby at Famous Daves!
8/24/2007	We woke up and danced to the "It's Friday" song (it's on the radio every Friday). We took Callie to school and Mommy and I went to the library for new books. We cleaned the playroom today so we could search for my stuffed penguin that I bought in Chicago but we couldn't find it. Mommy can't remember when she even saw it last so I told her I want to go back to Chicago and buy a new one! We picked Callie up from school and after playing a bit, we went to the mall and guess what?! Callie got her ears pierced!! She really did it. Mommy thought she would change her mind but she was so excited the whole drive there. On the walk in to the store she was swinging her purse around and then she said "oh I guess I should look more grown up" - so she slung it over her shoulder like Mommy - it was pretty cute. She did get a little nervous on the chair but told Mommy she wasn't changing her mind so they held hands and the workers did both ears at the same time. Callie didn't even cry and was surprised it was over already! Daddy met us there afterwards -Callie wanted to surprise him even though Mommy thought we should wait to do it with him. We went out for supper (Callie asked if we could go somewhere fancier since she had earrings now so we went to Red Lobster) and then we came home and played outside before bed.
8/23/2007	Callie woke up and told Mommy she wanted to have her ears pierced! I guess she had a dream about it or something. We came home after taking Callie to school and since it was rainy and dreary we watched some tv today. After lunch I was getting really bored so Mommy and I made two big barbie houses in the living room and started playing. We surprised Callie with them when we brought her home! We played all afternoon and after supper it was too late for Callie to go to the mall, which made her very upset. Daddy promised we would go tomorrow since it is Friday!
8/22/2007	Callie was pretty tired at first this morning and told Mommy "maybe she wasn't ready for this after all" but by the time she was dressed she was excited again. We dropped her off and met Dena and Adam at the coffee store. We played in the play area while our moms talked. I fell down in the parking lot on the way to the car so I cried and luckily Mommy had a bandaid in her purse to make me feel better. Amber came over at 10:30 so we could babysit Jace! We had our bouncy chair out and I couldn't wait for him to sit in it and look at the toys hanging from it. I made funny faces at him and he smiled and I helped Mommy feed him too. Amber came back after lunch and then it was time to go to Callie's school. Mommy had to do some PTA work there and I was very good and watched her and looked at library books (we were in the library working). The bell rang while she was putting papers in the teachers mailboxes and there was Callie's teacher so Mommy figured she better hurry to catch Callie outside. We found her before she even knew we weren't in the truck and we headed home to play. Callie had her first night back at ballet and she was SO excited to see Jen, her teacher, again - she even made her a card! Grandpa Robinson had his eye surgery today and all it went well - he is even wearing a patch just like I have to so I wish I could see his.
8/21/2007	We took Callie to school and then came home to play. At lunch time Mommy took me to Sonic and then we had to go to the girl scout office and to Walmart where Mommy got us new jackets for fall! I fell asleep on the way to get Callie but woke up as soon as we got home. Callie had another great day - she had art and music today! After our snack Mommy took us to the pool but we only had time to swim for about 5 minutes when it thundered and they had to close. We played in the park for the 30 minutes they have to wait to reopen and then we went back to swim until about 5:30. Callie saw her old friend, Lexi, there and they had lots of fun in the deep end jumping in and swimming to the wall. Mommy and I played in the shallow side with Lexi's sister and her mom. We had to shower when we got home and Mommy made supper so we ate in our pjs!
8/20/2007	It was Callie's first day of school so Mommy had to wake me up at 7:15 to get dressed and be ready to go by 7:30. It was pouring out and the traffic was really bad so it took awhile to get there. We were all very wet by the time we got inside but Callie was really excited! She organized her desk after we left, had a meeting with all the second graders in the library with the principal, played get to know you games in her room, ate hot lunch, and played outside on the new playground! Mommy and I played (I was very bored all by myself) and we went shopping when she got tired of playing. Finally it was 2:45 so we could pick her up. We made cookies for her and then we played and she watched some tv. Mommy made her favorite supper, spaghetti, and then we played games and went to bed.
8/19/2007	Happy Birthday Grandma Robinson! We were up by 7:30 which Mommy was happy about since tomorrow we will have to be up by 7 for Callie's first day of school! Callie and I played while Mommy unpacked and then we went shopping. I went to Sam's and Menards with Daddy while Callie and Mommy went to find new ballet shoes. Daddy mowed after he got home and he found us a toad to play with! We filled the wading pool and put our suits on so we could swim with him. After supper we showered and started our new bedtime routine!
8/18/2007	After breakfast Callie and I went with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey to the vet while Mommy and Daddy got coffee and then we all met up at the office so Daddy could get an adjustment. We visited Great Grandma Ivey after that and then we went to the fair for lunch and to walk around. It was kind of muddy and still drizzling but we found a tent to eat under and we walked through the Expo and even got twisty balloon animals (well Callie had a crown made and I had a poodle). We went to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's after that and played while Daddy napped. At 5 Mommy decided it was silly to leave then because we would nap in the car and be up forever so we all ate supper and left at 7, our bedtime since we had been up late last night and didn't nap. We put on our pjs and we were fast asleep by 7:30.
8/17/2007	We left town around 10 and picked up lunch as soon as we got to Aberdeen. We were disappointed to find out it was cold and rainy there so we skipped the fair idea and hung out with our grandparents instead. Grandma Robinson found an old box of sunglasses that Mommy and Bridget used to play eye doctor with so Callie and I played that and called each of them in one at a time to give them their test and let them pick out funky glasses! Mommy and Daddy went out for supper and to the fair so we stayed with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey for the night. They took us to a store & bought us new shirts & pjs, then we visited Great Grandma & Grandpa Anglin, we ate at DQ, and came home for a movie and bed. I even slept upstairs this time with Callie!
8/16/2007	We played at home today and then Mommy and Bridget took us to a park because we were getting bored (or maybe they were!). It was pretty hot out so we came back home after a bit to have gogurts and water to cool down. When Daddy came home from work we called Amber and asked her and Jace to meet us at CiCis! Then it was time to head home and go to bed so we would be ready for our trip to Aberdeen tomorrow.
8/15/2007	This morning Mommy had to go to my school to do some PTA things and then after lunch we went to Wild Water West with Bridget and Mommy! Callie had a free pass from collecting box tops last year so we used that and had tons of fun. I loved riding down on Mommy's lap but Callie was too big for that this year and she was too scared to do it by herself but she did lots of the kid sized ones. We also went on the lazy river and just swam too. We had to leave by 4 so we could all shower and go to Callie's open house! We saw her room, her desk, and her teacher. I even saw my preschool friend, Alisha, there because her big sister is in third grade. I was very excited and can't wait until my school starts now too. We all went out for supper afterwards and then Daddy took us home and put us to bed so Mommy and Bridget could go shopping.
8/14/2007	We went shopping this afternoon and then came home just in time for Bridget to come!! We were very excited and we had a present for her too. When she opened the box she was being funny and said "what's in here, an elephant?" Imagine her surprise when it turned out to be a webkinz elephant! We all had a good laugh about that. We grilled for supper and then went out for ice cream with Daddy while Mommy and Bridget went to a jewelry party.
8/13/2007	We went to Dena's this morning to play so Mommy could go to school and put up bulletin boards before open house. When she came to pick us up we decided to all go out to eat together since we won't be seeing much of each other once school starts. We came home after that and played while Mommy got ready for working her toy booth at the fair tonight. Daddy came home at 4 to take care of me and Callie went with Mommy! It was 30 miles away and it was super hot in the building so they were sweating. Callie had fun going out to explore a bit but she had to stay within sight of the building. She even went and bought popcorn all by herself. Daddy and I went to Sonic for supper and then I swam in our pool for awhile and Daddy pushed me on the swings. I was in bed at 7 but Callie and Mommy didn't get home until 10 and then Callie had to tell Daddy all about it!
8/12/2007	We went out for brunch this morning and then stopped at Ace Hardware for something for Daddy's weedwhacker and guess who we saw there?? Hilschers!! We had great fun playing for a little bit while our daddies shopped and our mommies visited. We came home so Daddy could mow and Mommy worked in the yard. She filled our wading pool so we played in that and then it was time for Callie to go to London's birthday party. She has a pool in her backyard and a hot tub so it was a fun party. They even have a slide into the pool now and Callie went on her tummy and dove right into the 6 foot section! She thought it was great. Daddy and I went to Sam's and ran some errands during this time and Mommy cleaned. She was going to wait until school started but since we were all busy she figured it would be nice to get it out of the way (plus Aunt Bridget is coming!). Daddy grilled and then he went to a concert so Mommy put us to bed.
8/11/2007	This morning we went shopping for new shoes! I found mine first and then we bought new shoes for Daddy and a new sweat suit for Callie. We had to leave the mall and go to a new shoe store to find her tennis shoes and then we came home for lunch. Callie and I started playing and we had so much fun so Mommy decided to press naptime with me (even though she knew I was tired). We ate an early supper (Mommy and Callie ate green peppers raw - yuck!)and took showers. Afterwards Daddy asked us to clean our rooms and I told him "I always have a N-Dult help me!" He thought that was pretty funny for some reason but he helped!
8/10/2007	We went to Nebraska today to visit Great Grandma Sunderman. We went to Mommy's Aunt Charlene's house and her other aunt Janice was there with Joni and her brand new baby, Jaden, and Sydney came with them too! Charlene had a great toy closet for when her grandkids visit so we played with all the toys downstairs for a long time -Mommy was happy she had time to visit. Later we went outside and then Sydney taught us how to play shuffleboard and she even dressed up and played with us. We left around 6 and stopped in Yankton to eat supper at Charlies, a great pizza place. The only bad thing is that it was busy and took a long time to get our food so we didn't get back on the road until 8:30. We finally got home to see Daddy at 9:30 and then it was bedtime.
8/9/2007	Callie and I played this morning and after lunch we had our hair cut for school. It was really hot outside today so we stayed in and waited for Gillian and Adam to come over. Finally at 4 they did - Mommy watched them so Dena & Brad could celebrate their 10th anniversary and go out for supper. We all had packed 'suppers' in our lunchboxes so we were excited to have a picnic outside. It was very very hot and Mommy was trying to block the sun so she put a sheet up on the umbrella. We thought that was SO cool so we asked her to put another one up to make a fort so she did. After we ate we played some more and then it was time to go to the park for the Mime Show! It was really funny but it was hard for Adam to figure out what they were doing so Daddy took him to the playground for a bit but then they came back. Dena and Brad showed up right at the end and then we all had to go home for bed.
8/8/2007	It rained this morning so Callie and I put on our rainboots and went splashing through the puddles and had fun playing outside. We went with Mommy to her Dr's appt today and then we went shopping for a birthday present (for Callie's friend). At supper time we met Daddy at Uncle Toms and then we all went out for supper at Qdoba. Jace is getting bigger - Mommy held him and said he feels so heavy now! He even smiled. After supper I was very tired so Mommy took me home and I fell asleep on the way so she just put me in bed and enjoyed her evening. Daddy and Callie went with Uncle Tom to Best Buy and then out for ice cream.
8/7/2007	Callie was so excited and/or nervous that she woke up at 6:15 and of course then I did too. She met with her teacher this morning for a 30 minute assessment. Mommy and I read while we waited in the hallway for her. She told us she had to read part of a story outloud, then read the rest of it to herself and summarize it for the teacher, and then she had to do math problems. The teacher told Mommy it took a bit for Callie to not be so nervous but then she did great. Callie wasn't sure if she was allowed to use her fingers when doing math problems and so she finally asked and her teacher told her that they use fingers a lot in her class so Callie felt very relieved! After lunch we went to the pool with Gillian and Adam - first the wading pool and then the regular one. We went home at closing to change clothes and then it was time for Family Fun Night at the park. We ate there, played games, watched a balloon lady, and jumped in inflatables (well callie did). We saw Abby and Jason there too so we played games with Abby. We had a fun and busy day!
8/6/2007	We went over to Gillian & Adam's house to play this morning. Mommy went to pick up coffees so she and Dena could have some good grown up conversation and caffeine! We had a great time playing and we didn't even want to stop for lunch so we played until one and then finally went home to eat and rest a bit (but not nap of course). We made homemade pizza tonight for supper and then it was time for sleep - even Mommy was super tired and went to bed early.
8/5/2007	Callie spent most of yesterday afternoon calling all her friends to see who had what teacher. She will have Kathryn and London in her class but Lauren, Ann, and Derek will be in Mrs. Hofer's class. I think Mommy might be more sad about it than Callie (of course she didn't let Callie know that she was). Callie and I played barbies all day and Mommy cleaned and reorganized our playroom! She was tired of our crafts spilling over on her scrapbook table or the floor so she moved our desk over to the playroom side, rearranged our school, AND set up a craft table with a shelf for all our supplise. I was SUPER excited when I saw it and kept telling her thanks! Daddy mowed and then grilled us salmon tonight - I decided to stay with my usual fishsticks but Callie really liked it. Callie slept on the floor of my room tonight and we went to bed super early since we didn't nap and we were tired out!
8/4/2007	Callie opened her mail and found out she will have Mrs. Albrecht for her teacher and will even meet with her on Tuesday! Julia talked SO MUCH about school over our vacation (perhaps the most we have ever heard about it) so we are pretty sure she is quite anxious to go back too! Callie saved her money and didn't buy one single thing while we were on vacation and Julia bought a cute penguin at the zoo. Today is going to be a day filled with rest and laundry I am sure!
8/3/2007	We slept in until 9 again so missed breakfast again! We packed up the car and got more donuts and coffee on the way out of town. We played games (we ended up with 35 state license plates!)and looked at books until we stopped at Wisconsin Dells for a late lunch! We drove around to see all the waterslides and we stopped to play mini golf by the river. Callie and I BOTH got holes in one this time - but poor Mommy couldn't no matter how hard she tried. I fell asleep after we left and slept for over 2 1/2 hours! Callie read and played go fish with Mommy. She was happy when I woke up because we played barbies again and had fun until we stopped for supper in Albert Lea. We were starting to get antsy then so Mommy put a movie on for us - we only watched one the whole way there and one the whole way back! We got home at 10:30 and were very happy to see our cats.
8/2/2007	We were tired this morning and slept in until 9 so we missed breakfast! Daddy had picked up donuts for just this reason so we ate those in our room and headed to the zoo. Originally we were going to leave tonight after the zoo and go 1/2 way but we did such a good job on the way and Mommy didn't want to waste time packing the car so we told the motel we would stay tonight too. The zoo was really nice but wow was it HOT! We needed water right away and one bottle was $4.25! After that we filled the bottle at water fountains - yikes! They had a cute baby polar bear, a fun petting zoo, elephants, giraffes, a lion who started roaring after we left the exhibit and lots more animals. Callie petted stingrays (I was too scared) and we rode on the tram around the zoo to see the animals we missed after we got too tired to do more walking. We stopped at Mommy's favorite restaurant, Buca's, for supper and then went to swim. Since it was the last night Mommy let us stay up until 10 to swim in the dark - that was fun! We even played until 11 back in the room before finally going to bed.
8/1/2007	We slept in until 8:30 & decided to be lazy since we wanted to be up late for fireworks. We swam after breakfast & it was really hot already so it was fun (our pool is outside). I finally figured out how to propel my floatie forwards so I traveled all over the pool. Callie jumped in the 5 foot section & then swam the whole length of the pool! We went to White Castle for lunch (Daddy is always talking about that place) and it was AWFUL! We all decided it was the worst place to eat ever. We headed back to our room and napped until 3. Mommy told us to hurry because she wanted to buy boat tickets for 5:15 and she was afraid they sold out fast. Unfortunately the traffic was the worst ever so finally Daddy decided to get off the interstate and drive thru town - bad choice because that was just as slow or worse so it took us an hour and 45 minutes to drive 20 miles! We parked at Navy Pier at 5:15 (we left at 3:30). Luckily they had a boat ride at 7:15 we bought tickets for so we rode the carousel and ate supper first. Our boat ride was really fun - it was a speed boat on the lake and slow for the river tour. I was scared at first but decided I liked it and Callie loved hearing about all the buildings on the river tour - she got upset if you tried to show her something because she was trying to listen! After the boat ride we played mini golf and Callie got a hole in one! Mommy tried to get someone to go on the ferris wheel with her (it is one of the tallest in the country) but no one would. The fireworks started at 9:30 and they were great and then we headed home. I was asleep right away but Callie stayed up the whole way and even talked to Grandma Robinson for a bit because they were in Mnpls when the bridge collapsed.
7/31/2007	We ate breakfast and headed to the Museum of Science and Industry. It was huge and we couldn't decide where to go first! We looked at a farm exhibit, toured the Uboat (I was sort of scared of that since they had all these sound effects of water and guns), saw a circus exhibit, ate lunch there, looked at baby chicks in a hatchery, & watched our very own toys be made with robots on an assebly line. I fell asleep then so the rest of them toured an airplane and heart exhibit and when I woke up that is exactly what I demanded to see so they had to do it again! The line at the coal mine was TOO long (Mommy was bummed because they missed that on their honeymoon too) and we were too late for the last tour of the zephyr. But we still had tons of fun there and kept asking if we could go back tomorrow! We ate supper at Fridays across from our motel and then swam again until bedtime.
7/30/2007	We ate breakfast at the motel and then packed up and headed out for our last part of the trip! Mommy had showed us pictures of their Chicago honeymoon and we were both very fascinated with the oasis that sits above the interstate so when we saw one we had to stop. It was little early for lunch so Mommy and Daddy had a coffee at Starbucks and we had slushes while we watched the cars raced under us. Since we were in IL we had to start PAYING to use the roads and then I fell asleep about 10 minutes from our motel. It was only noon so we didn't know if we could get in but they let us so Daddy and Callie unpacked while Mommy read in the car so I could sleep more. Oh and we had found 26 states already on our game! We decided to head downtown after I woke up and just snacked in the car since we hadn't had lunch yet. We found Sears Tower and parked our car (for $25!) then ate at a pizza place Aunt Michelle told us about. Then we went up to the 100th floor and looked out - it was awesome! We decided to just head back to our room afterwards and swam until bedtime.
7/29/2007	Happy 12th Anniversary Mommy and Daddy! We decided to go to Chicago today instead because we were all excited and Mommy had everything ready. Daddy had to do some work first but he got subs on his way home and we ate them in the car on the way. Mommy had warned us it was going to be a LONG drive but she had lots of things for us to do. We colored, did dot to dots, played with my mini barbies, played with our webkinz, watched a barbie movie, and I napped while Callie read. Callie had a map we could look at and when we were at Albert Lea, Callie looked at it and said "we have that much left to go? - wow it is going to be long isn't it?" We also played the license plate game and Callie had a white map of the US and when anyone saw a new state she colored it in. We stopped in Madison WI for supper and told Mommy that she could sit next to Daddy in the booth this time since it was their anniversary! Mommy decided to call the motel to see if we could get in a day early (we were all doing so well in the car we thought we could go all the way) but our room was booked that night. There was a motel right across the street from where we ate so we went there instead and then had time to swim all evening!
7/28/2007	Daddy took us to the WaterFall Festival this morning and we saw clowns, had our faces painted, and jumped in an inflatable! Daddy even bought us a bracelet there. Mommy went shopping and so we met her back home to eat lunch. I had to take a nap after that and Callie went to Derek's birthday party at Gigglebees. Daddy made us grilled cheese sandwiches for supper and he let us eat them on TV trays while we watched Big Brother!!
7/27/2007	We went to the park for crafts this morning - we decorated trinket boxes. I rode my bike & Callie rode her scooter. Mommy tried to get Callie to not be so cautious using her scooter so when we got home she showed her how you are supposed to do it. HOWEVER she hit a bump and flew right over the front and skidded on her hands. She tried to brush it off and not act hurt since Callie already has issues but I am pretty sure she was in pain! We ate lunch outside and then got ready to go to the pool. We met Erkonens there and swam in the big pool - even Matt and Megan like that. They jump in over and over again and they even tell Kim when if they want to go underwater! We played in the park for awhile after we were done and then met Daddy at home for supper. Callie and I ran through the spinkler for awhile and then it was time for bed.
7/26/2007	Daddy had to take the mazda to the fix it shop for a check-up today so we took him to work. Mommy needed coffee after having to get up so early so we went to the coffee shop and Callie and I had Cinnamon Coffee Cake - yummy! Afterwards we went to Petco for catfood and litter - we just love pushing the kids carts around there. On our way home we called Amber and invited her and Jace to come over. We were very excited and just waited by the window for them to show up! She even brought a bottle of milk with so we could feed him. He is sure getting bigger! We took turns holding him all afternoon. Daddy's friend took him to get his car so we didn't have to pick him up. After supper I went to bed because I was pretty tired out but Callie and Mommy stayed up and played a game.
7/25/2007	Callie and I went with Mommy to run errands this morning and then we went to the Humane Society. They had lots of baby kittens so we played with them and Callie and I even held one all by ourselves! Mommy hoped I would nap after lunch but I didn't want to and we played nicely so she let me stay up. After supper Daddy mowed and we played outside until bedtime.
7/24/2007	Callie and I made a playhouse this morning and we had fun playing in that. Then she let me help her do a light bright picture! Daddy came home for lunch since he had a dentist appointment so we were excited to see him. Mommy took us shopping after that and she found a raincoat that matched Callie's rainboots for $2 so she was super excited! Daddy grilled chicken kabobs and since I only ate a biscuit I was done quickly and disappeared. When they came to find me - I was fast asleep in my bed with my covers tucked right under my chin. I woke up around 9 but only wanted a drink and went right back to sleep. Callie and Mommy went to Barnes & Noble after supper to get her free book (she has read 8 chapter books this summer and earned a free book because of it).
7/23/2007	Callie and I were very crabby all morning so Mommy said we HAD to nap and she wasn't changing her mind. Callie cried and cried about it and even offered Mommy one dollar if she could skip it but Mommy said no. Of course after lunch we were both asleep as soon as our heads hit the pillow. We played all afternoon and Daddy had to work late so when he got home we ate at CiCi's and went to Target. Callie got a new backpack for school and I got my paints for preschool. We went to Office Max to get scissors for Brownies (but they were out already) and Daddy twirled Callie around on a neat chair - but she fell off and hit her head!! So he felt pretty bad and Callie was crying so we left that store pretty fast. It was late after that so we had to go home for bedtime.
7/22/2007	Mommy woke up (without her glasses) and saw lots of black things on our tent (mayflies) and since it was still blurry she hoped and hoped they were outside and not in - and phew they were. Mayflies come to Yankton every late July/early August and they are just icky. We were sure glad they showed up on our last day. Our beachtowels had about 30 of them on & sometimes you have to just pick them off because they just want to stick! I went frisbee golfing with Daddy but on the second hole we were swarmed by those bugs so we came back. Mommy was all ready packing up so we played for a bit and then we just sat in the truck and waited because it was so hot today too (thankfully the heat and bugs waited until leaving time to come!) Erkonens packed up too and then we went to the Dam's visitor center to hang out and we stopped in Yankton together for lunch. Callie and I slept on the way home and then Mommy and Daddy unpacked the truck, made us supper and then it was time for our neighbor Jackie's 50th birthday party/block party. We ate lots of good food and even played with two neighbor kids (we took them to our backyard to play). Callie and Daddy caught lightening bugs in her bug box and then finally we went to bed.
7/21/2007	It was dreary so we slept in a bit this morning. We showered and since Erkonens had to go to town, Daddy & Callie went frisbee golfing while Mommy & I went on a bike ride to the park - I even rode there myself! Then we all went to the fish hatchery & fed the baby trout. After lunch it was decided everyone was crabby so we had to have quiet time-Callie & I fell asleep but since our tent was quite hot (even with our fan) we didn't sleep long. We headed to the beach next & it was SO windy that it was like being at an ocean. The waves would just go right over your head if you were caught off-guard so Mommy & Kim decided everyone needed lifejackets. Callie's is getting small so Daddy decided to run to the store to get her a new one so I could have hers (anything to get away from the heat!) I still preferred Mommy to hold me and actually enjoyed the sand the most but Callie & Mommy LOVED the waves! We headed back to grill for supper & after more bike rides & playing we had a fire & smores. Callie and Andrew stayed up pretty late and the grown-ups stayed up even later until the Mayflies took over!
7/20/2007	Daddy took me, Callie, Andrew, & Abby frisbee golfing while Scott worked. Mommy and Kim watched Matt and Megan - they are really good at riding bikes! We grilled for lunch and then headed to the beach for the afternoon. Daddy took a nap and Scott worked in the camper so Matt and Megan could nap but they all joined us later. Mommy and Daddy decided to just skip JazzFest this year (we were going to go home tonight for it and then come back to the campgrounds tomorrow) so we went out for supper at the Dam Beachhouse instead! After eating gelato for dessert we went to the go-carts and raced! Mommy and I went really fast - but I started getting upset when cars bumped us so she slowed down and got out of their way. I was getting really tired so Mommy and Daddy took me back to the campgrounds so I could get to bed while the rest finished mini golfing. I was fast asleep when they came back so I missed the fire but it was a quick one since the kids were all tired!
7/19/2007	We went camping today! We were hoping to go last night but storms were in the area so we waited. We ate lunch in Yankton and then set up our campsite. We swam all afternoon and then made a fire for our pizzas - yummy! Erkonens pulled in just as we were eating so they quick made pizzas too and joined us. Our campsites were right next to each other so we had lots of room to play yardgames and we rode our bikes around too. I rode all the way to the bathroom and back and thought it was really fun to make Mommy run to keep up with me. Callie didn't want to ride at all even after Daddy put her training wheels back on so she just played. Daddy and Scott went frisbee golfing and when they came back we were roasting marshmallows and getting ready for bed.
7/18/2007	We woke up and found out it had finally rained!! It hasn't rained here since June - and we didn't even get very much. Mommy took us to Dena's today so she could do some shopping by herself. Gillian was at Art Camp so we just played with Adam and drew pictures. It was a dreary day so after lunch Callie and I watched a movie while Mommy worked around the house. She and Daddy decided today that we really do get to go to Chicago for vacation this summer! Mommy and Daddy went there for their honeymoon 12 years ago and they are anxious to see it again, with us this time. YIPPEE!
7/17/2007	We went to the crafts in the park this morning & then headed to storytime at the library. We came home for lunch and then Callie had frisbee golf class at 1. She was sad because Ann didn't show up & she wasn't sure she wanted to stay without her, but she did. Mommy tried to get me to nap but of course that failed so we went grocery shopping instead & checked back on Callie on the way home (Mommy was feeling bad about her being there alone PLUS it was almost 100 degrees out!) She was ok so we took the groceries back home and then came back to get her at 3. We went to the pool since it was SO hot and saw Ann there! We played in the big pool until Dena got there & she was going to take me and Adam to the wading pool but I got clingy and wanted to stay with Mommy. We stayed until 6 and then had to hurry to the baseball game - Daddy's work bought us tickets! It was so hot it was hard to enjoy it and we were tired so we left 1/2 way through and both fell asleep on the way home.
7/16/2007	Today we were all crabby and ended up being a LONG day. Callie and I kept fighting and we couldn't stay interested in anything for very long so the house was a huge mess by supper. I think Mommy was ready for bedtime to come tonight!
7/15/2007	We were pretty lazy this morning and played in our pjs until lunchtime! Callie and I ate outside and then Daddy took off Callie's training wheels and tried to teach her how to ride her bike. She didn't want to at first but finally she tried and started to feel pretty good about it. Daddy let go twice for just a little bit. Next time he will do it for longer he said! We got our suits on after that and went to the pool. Daddy and I started out in the wading pool so Callie & Mommy could go in the big pool and then after break Mommy & Daddy switched places. We played in the park for awhile after the pool and then we went out for supper - Callie still had a free kids' meal certificate from school for Chili's and Mommy had a free dessert coupon - yummy!
7/14/2007	I only slept in until 8 but Callie slept til 9. We made a big breakfast and got dressed and then headed outside to clean up. Our yard looked like a tornado came through it! Callie and I worked on toys while Mommy and Daddy did the 'party side'. After lunch Callie had a playdate with Kathryn so Mommy dropped her off and then we napped until it was time to pick her up. We were going to go swimming but we were all still tired out so we went to a movie instead - Ratatouille - which was pretty funny! I got kind of restless at the end but Mommy and Daddy sure loved it. We didn't get home until after 7 so we played a bit and had cereal for supper and then went to bed early.
7/13/2007	Mommy took us to an outside play at a park we hardly ever go to this morning! It was called Too Many Frogs and they even had props at this one - a couch, table & chairs and a little garden for the bunny. It was really funny and we all liked it. We came home and ate lunch and then it was time to get ready for our barbecue. Mommy and Daddy decided yesterday that we didn't have anything going on this weekend so we should invite people over tonight for supper. We helped Mommy set up tables and chairs, tablecloths, candles, torches and then she turned the sprinkler on for us to play in while she made food. Jason & Alyssa brought Abby and I had so much fun with her - Callie got bored after a bit and was very anxious for Gillian to come. Then Jace came and we both ran over to Amber yelling "JACE JACE" and we had to touch him and look at him for a long time. We played outside even in the dark for a long time then I went to bed and the rest of the kids watched a movie.
7/12/2007	We went to the puppet show this morning at the library. We came home to eat lunch and then Mommy went to trim bushes outside and we were suppposed to clean up and then come out. When we looked outside we couldn't see Mommy (she was behind a bush next to the fence) and we coudln't find her in the house so we called Daddy all scared and crying. He told us to walk around outside not just look out the sliding glass door and then we found her - phew! We went over to Andrew and Abby's house today and played - they turned the sprinkler on under the tramp and we lots of fun jumping. Then we put the hose down their swingset slide and boy could we zoom down! We ate supper in Brandon because Mommy knew Julia would fall asleep and she was out as soon as we hit the highway home.
7/11/2007	It was Gillian and Adam's turn to come over today and we had lots of fun playing. We turned Callie's room into a haunted house and made spider webs out of string and spiders out of paper and taped them all up. When Dena came back we were mad because we were still decorating and hadn't even had time to play it yet! They stayed longer and then we all went out for lunch together at Subway. We rested after lunch (but would NOT nap) and then played some more until Daddy got home. We went to Walgreens to find a kid sized patch for because all of our dress up ones are adult sized and too big for my glasses to fit on top of but they only had adult sized too. Mommy thinks maybe she can try to make one for me out of felt so I told her to make it PINK of course.
7/10/2007	We went to the play in the park this morning - it was about Fairies. Gillian and Adam were there so afterwards we all played together. We went home for lunch and then Mommy took us to the frisbee golf course for Callie's class BUT no one was there! Another mom showed up and she called Parks and Rec and they realized it was NEXT TUESDAY instead - oops! We went back home and played until my eye appointment. My left eye is getting a little better but still has a long way to catch up so I get to be a pirate now and wear a patch when I color or read/look at books.
7/9/2007	Mommy worked on laundry today and Callie and I played. We had a great time today and hardly came downstairs at all. We decided to go swimming but first Mommy had to talk to Ann's mom and when she did she found out they were going swimming too so we met at the same pool. Callie went to the big pool with them and Mommy and I went to the wading pool. We had our towels by the same fence so at break we could talk to each other. Ann's mom said Callie does a great job swimming! We came home and had a quick supper then I played outside while Mommy trimmed our bushes and worked in the yard. Callie and Daddy were too tired to join us so they watched tv.
7/8/2007	We went shopping today because Mommy switched our mattresses around (Callie has been complaining about hers) and she decided I should have a bedframe so that mine is higher now too. We also had to get a new handle for our swingset because it broke and then Daddy looked into changing our big beam and making ours bigger! Mommy got our supper all ready and then we waited for our company! Mommy's penpal, Jill, and her family were in the Black Hills and they came to our house on their way home to Minneapolis. We ate and played all evening long - it was a fun night.
7/7/2007	I woke up at 8 this morning but Callie slept until 9! We went grocery shopping wtih Daddy right away because we had nothing in our fridge - the store by us has a kids' club and every week you get a treat when you go shopping with your parents so this time we had fruit snacks. Mommy started cleaning while we were gone and it was an all day process - she said it is the last deep cleaning she is going to do until school starts. We played pretty much all day but we did take a break to go with Daddy to Sam's Club. I fell asleep during a tv show after supper so Mommy carried me up to bed.
7/6/2007	We slept until 9 and Grandma made breakfast for us before we left. Mommy packed up and I was SO tired that I just kept asking if I could go sit in the car to wait. We stopped to say goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa Ivey and ended up eating lunch with them before leaving town. I fell asleep right away but Callie wanted to finish her book first (wow she is getting to be more and more like Mommy!) We were excited to be home and see the cats again (and they were happy to see us too) After Callie and I played for awhile, we went with Daddy to his work so he could work on a few things. We drew on his whiteboard and then we met Mommy for pizza. She took us home and helped us shower and Daddy went back to work. Mommy tried to get us in bed early but we were crying about everything and kept coming out of our room so it took until 10 before we were sleeping.
7/5/2007	We slept in again until 9:30 or so (Mommy is quite impressed with this!) and then we went to eat lunch with Great Grandma Ivey at the mall. After that we all went to Grandpa's office so Daddy, Tom, Amber and Mommy could all get adjustments. Callie and I had fun riding on the table. Then we went to Mommy and Daddy's old highschool to visit Aaron. He works there now (it isn't a school anymore) and he gave us a tour - they showed us where their locker was, the classrooms, the gym and even the stage! Mommy said it almost made her miss school walking through all those hallways. After that Callie and Daddy picked up Grandpa Robinson to go fireworks 'sale' shopping and I was supposed to nap with Mommy but I didn't want to. When they came home (with oodles of fireworks) we went out for supper and then came back to do a few more fireworks with one super big grand finale!
7/4/2007	We all slept in until 10 this morning and everyone moved very slowly but finally we were ready to visit Grandma and Grandpa Ivey. Tom, Amber, and Jace were there too so we saw them too! Later we went to visit our friends, Don & Dawn and their little girl, Regan - she is almost one! Callie and I played with her and we thought she was pretty cute. We headed back to Iveys for supper and around 8 I was getting very tired and cranky so we had to go back to Grandma & Grandpa's for bed. At least I did and then they all went to the neighbors for fireworks (Grandma & Grandpa just watched from the patio so they could hear me if I woke up which I did not I was so tired). Later Callie and Daddy did more of their own fireworks and then everyone went to bed.
7/3/2007	We were ready to play more when we woke up and after awhile Mommy got ready to eat lunch with her friend, Anna. Grandma made us lunch and then Callie read to me out of her chapter book and I actually fell asleep! Grandma tried to get Callie to nap too but she just read instead. Mommy finally got back from her lunch at 4 and we set up lots of outside games. Callie taught us how to play bocce ball and we played ladder golf too. Grandpa grilled supper and Cason and Colin came over to light off some fireworks. We did tanks, racecars, and lots of parachutes! Daddy was really late getting to Grandmas so we were getting antsy but finally they got there (he came with Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace). Jace met the neighbors and then Uncle Chuck and Jim came too! I did a few fireworks with Daddy but I was so tired so I went to bed around 11 but Callie stayed up until 1 am and Mommy stayed up until 3:30!
7/2/2007	We went to Storybook Land this morning and played. It started getting very hot so we went home for lunch and a nap. Callie was super tired and slept for three hours! Finally she woke up and we went to the pool with Grandma. They have a really neat new one with waterslides, fountains, and even a lazy river so we had a lot of fun. We came back home at 7 and had a late supper and then did a few fireworks but we wanted to save most of them for tomorrow for when Daddy gets here.
7/1/2007	Today we woke up and packed our bags so after lunch Mommy, Callie, and I headed to Aberdeen! We went right to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house to play in the playroom of course. Later Grandma made Indian Tacos (Mommy's favorite!). We toured the garden and all the trees and played outside.
6/30/2007	We went shopping today at the mall and we all actually had fun. Callie HATES shopping but she had birthday money to spend so I guess that makes it ok. She couldn't decide between new books or a webkinz but when she counted her money she realized she had some saved and so she had enough for both! Mommy and Daddy bought clothes, we ate lunch, and Callie found a book and then she found a black lab webkinz (she had already bought her horse webkinz) and really wanted to get it for Mommy so Daddy bought it for her! When we came home Daddy had to leave for a haircut but Mommy and Callie had to play webkinz of course. We played outside after supper and visited with neighbors and then it was time for bed.
6/29/2007	Daddy passed another test today - yippee! He didn't have to take this one but since he did so well on his others he decided to keep going and take more. We had to take Haley and Shelby for their shots and the vet had to look at Haley's tummy again - it is still not getting better. She had to have surgery on it last summer but we don't want to have to do that every year so they gave her a special shot instead to see if that works. We took Callie and Lauren to zoocamp for their last day and their sprinkler party and then I went with Mommy while she got her hair cut. After supper we all went to buy fireworks!!
6/28/2007	Daddy went to Omaha today for his training so we had the yellow car! We took Callie and Lauren to ZooCamp and then we went shopping. Mommy let me pick out a snack at the store and I ate it and then fell asleep on the way home. Mommy took us out for supper at Red Rosa since Daddy was gone and we ate out on the patio. We played in the backyard when we got home and Mommy finished staining the one section of fence she has been working on. Daddy surprised us and came home before we went to bed!
6/27/2007	Gillian & Adam were busy today so we didn't do our usual Wednesday morning. Callie and I played outside while Mommy cleaned the truck out because Daddy is driving 5 other people to Omaha in it tomorrow. We ate lunch outside and then it was time to take Lauren and Callie to ZooCamp. Callie's camp is about Animal Olympics and so have they talked about the heaviest animal in the zoo (the bear) and the fastest animal in the zoo (the cheetah)so far. They even put meat in boxes today and watched the zookeepers feed it to the cheetahs! Callie said one even had his head stuck in the box for a little bit. After supper Mommy and Daddy came out in the back yard with us to play baseball and swing. I didn't nap today so I had to go to bed early while Callie and Daddy went shopping.
6/26/2007	Happy Birthday Aunt Michelle! Callie and I played this morning while Mommy worked on laundry and then we went to see Jace and Uncle Tom! Tom has Nick Jr and we don't so we enjoyed Dora and Callie even laid on the couch with Jace while we watched it. We had to come home for a quick lunch and then it was time to pick up Lauren for ZooCamp. I fell asleep on the way home so Mommy had some time to get more housework done. I am very miserable with all my bugbites so Mommy and I watched a movie when I woke up to keep me from thinking about it and then Callie was home! We ate supper once Daddy got home and then he took us to the park for the play, JungleBook.
6/25/2007	We actually slept until 7:45 this morning - Mommy was impressed! It was super hot when we woke up already but we didn't have time to swim because Callie had zoo camp at 1 so we needed to pack up. We ate a quick breakfast, showered and went to Hilscher's tent to play so Mommy could pack. We got home just in time for Callie to eat lunch and then Lauren's dad was here to take her to ZooCamp while I took a very long nap! We picked up Callie and Lauren and took her home after zoocamp was done for the day and then we waited for Daddy to get home. We were very excited to see him - Callie especially missed him a lot. He took us out for supper and then it was time for bed.
6/24/2007	Without even planning it Dena and Brad ended up having reservations for camping tonight so when we found out, we extended ours for another night too! This morning (which started at 6:20) after showers and breakfast Mommy took her coffee to the rocks and Callie and I tried skipping rocks. We played at the park, went on a bikeride, ate lunch and took a nap. Then we were getting our suits on when Hilschers got there so we all went swimming together. We headed back to their campsite so they could set their tent up and then Mommy went to get our food we could all cook out together. We grilled pizzas over the fire - YUMMY! Then we had smores and went swimming again because it was still quite hot. We changed and went back to their campsite and Brad popped popcorn over the fire for us and then we had to go to bed. I was very tired out and cried about a lot of things on the way back to our tent.
6/23/2007	We went camping today with Mommy! Daddy stayed home so he could go to a concert (and he even partied with the band afterwards!) We went swimming first until we could check in and then Mommy set up the tent, unloaded our bikes and then we went swimming again to cool off. It was very nice out so we stayed in the lake until almost 7 so we had a late supper at the BeachHouse restaurant. Mommy wasn't sure she could do a fire so we went on a bikeride, played frisbee, read stories and then went in our tent to play Go Fish by our lantern light. It was almost 11 when we went to bed but first we took one last walk to the bathrooms and we saw a huge toad! Mommy caught it and we petted it - that was really neat.
6/22/2007	We went shopping with Mommy this morning and then came home for lunch and a nap (both of us!). Then we ran through the sprinkler and played outside until Daddy came home and grilled. Mommy and Daddy decided to take us to the waterski show tonight and they found it interesting that we had no idea why they needed boats! Apparently they have never explained the art of waterskiing before - so we sure enjoyed all the tricks they could do! On the home Daddy was talking about the movie we saw last weekend and I asked "was that last night?" and he said no, last weekend. "You mean after tomorrow?" He said no again and tried to explain but I said "Oh I GIVE UP!"
6/21/2007	We had to take the truck to the fix it shop AGAIN today - Mommy is starting to get annoyed with that thing! Daddy picked us up and dropped us off back at home where we waited for Mommy's friend, Stacy and her new baby, Bristan, to come over! Dena, Gillian, & Adam came too so we all played while the moms talked. I was pretty tired today and Mommy wanted me to nap but of course I wouldn't do that with people over so I just went to bed early instead. Callie and Daddy went to Sam's Club and out for ice cream.
6/20/2007	I had an art class this morning so only Callie went to Dena's and Mommy and I made lightswitch covers, painted a pot and planted flower seeds, and we made a snack with pudding layers, graham cracker crumbs, and gummy fish. We picked Callie back up and headed home for lunch and to get ready for the beach! It was a hot day without much wind so it was just perfect weather. We swam all afternoon and built sandcastles. At 3 the Erkonens met us and we kept on playing until 5:30! Mommy was super sunburned when we got home and we were both very very tired from our big day. It was sure fun though!
6/19/2007	I had zoo camp today!! Mommy didn't know if I would actually stay there by myself but I did. She and Callie went to the library and to the mall so they had a nice long morning together. Daddy picked me up at 12 and took me home. My camp was all about anteaters so we made an anteater snout, made a snack for them (applesauce in a tube) and then watched the zookeepers feed him it! We also rode the train and found out we are getting a new Daddy giraffe because our other one died. I was tired out after that so I took a nap and then we all went outside to play with waterguns. Mommy decided to put the tent up by herself and she did it with Callie's help!! So now we can go camping without Daddy sometime. We ate out at Ted's new restaurant and he was so happy to see us he gave us a smoothie for free with our meal! Then the ice cream man drove by tonight so we had ice cream for dessert. Mommy and I went on a bike ride after that while Callie showered and then it was my turn.
6/18/2007	We stayed home this morning so we could put Callie's presents away and help Mommy clean up. After lunch Callie went over to Lauren's house and I took a nap so Mommy could get some work done! We picked up Callie and went to the eye Dr so Mommy could get new contacts - her other ones were not comfortable! We picked up our pictures too and then came home for supper. Callie had to go to bed super early because she was so tired but I got to stay up since I napped!
6/17/2007	Happy Father's Day! We all slept in today - Mommy and I woke up at 8:30, Callie at 9, and Daddy at 9:30! We had left over donuts and were very lazy all morning - none of us even dressed until lunch time! Mommy wanted me to nap but I refused of course so then we went to the go-cart track and raced - that was fun. We ate an early supper at Qdoba, one of Dad's favorite places, and then we went to family swim at the pool. Callie had lots of fun swimming in the deep end and even I tried to copy her and 'swim' too. I did put my face in two times so Mommy was impressed! We were home by 7, showered and in bed by 7:30 because we were super tired.
6/16/2007	Happy Birthday Callie!! She woke up this morning at 6:30 even after staying up last night until after 9. Daddy took her to Sunshine to pick out donuts and after I woke up (which wasn't until 8)she opened her presents from Mommy & Daddy. She opened mine at the party. She got lots of Webkinz Trading Cards and Daddy found her a binder with pockets to put all the cards in. She also got rollerblades, games, and books! We had to nap since we were up so late and then we were going to go to the beach but when we woke up it was thundering so we played Callie's new game instead. It cleared up again but it was too late for the beach so we played water fights outside while Daddy grilled steaks and we had watermelon too (Callie's choice of supper!). Then we headed to the drive-in for Shrek Three and Fantastic Four. I went to sleep after Shrek (and Mommy did too) so Callie climbed in front and watched with Daddy and was up until 1am - she fell asleep on the way home.
6/15/2007	Callie and I helped Mommy make cupcakes this morning! Callie frosted the white ones like globes and I sprinkled the chocolate ones! Then we took baths and got all pretty for Callie's party. I didn't want to nap (of course) so I just helped Mommy do last minute decorating. Finally 5:30 was here and her friends came to board the airplane! We had passports that we put flag stickers in as we landed and Callie opened a few gifts in between each country. We went to Ireland to play Hot Potato, Japan to do origami, Italy to eat pizza, 'wine', cupcakes, and ice cream (in the garage), South Africa for a safari hunt (backyard), China for a chopstick game and fortune cookies (family room where Callie and I made tons of lanterns to decorate), Mexico for a pinata (the basement where Mommy hung lots of streamers and surprised us), and finally back to the USA to Hawaii for limbo & leis (the sideyard where Daddy even had a limbo song to listen to for us!). We all had lots of fun!
6/14/2007	Mommy had to work at a toy booth today so we had our very first babysitter (other than family) ever! It was Ann's big sister and we had a lot of fun with her. Mommy came home at lunch and we took her home (but we were both very upset and wanted Mommy to leave so we could play MORE!). We helped Mommy clean the garage because tomorrow is Callie's birthday party! We ate an early supper so when Daddy got home he could take Callie to a special "class" for fathers of 7-10 year olds. They did projects together, played bingo, had a game of which kid could "shave" their dad the fastest (Callie had to put real shaving cream on Daddy and use a popsicle stick to shave him) and they had root beer floats together!
6/13/2007	It was raining today so Mommy decided it would be a good day to clean. Lucky for us Gillian and Adam came over so we were able to play! Mommy made us lunch after they left and she tried to get me to nap since I had been up so late last night but I refused. Callie went with Ann for ice cream with Mrs. Davids and then to play at Ann's house. We picked her up on the way to supper because we met Daddy at Red Lobster. I fell asleep on the way home (6:30) so Mommy put me to bed while Callie and Daddy played Webkinz.
6/12/2007	We had a busy day today! We went to the park for crafts but this time we drove because we had to leave from there to drop Callie off at her Camping Games class. She learned how to play ladder golf, bocce and lots of other outside games. Andrew went too so she was excited. Mommy and I went home so she could stain some more of the fence while I played with water and paintbrushes. We picked up Callie, ate lunch, and headed to the wading pool where we met Andrew, Abby, Matt,& Megan. We headed home about 3:30 and I fell asleep so Mommy and Callie went back outside so she could finish the fence. She made a quick supper and then she went to her toy meeting and Daddy took us to the park for a play!
6/11/2007	We were up bright and early again. We helped Mommy pick up because our house was very messy from the weekend and then Callie and I played really well together while Mommy worked on laundry. We went outside and played with water and paintbrushes and got all wet but it was very hot so that was ok! Then Mommy made us lunch and she wanted us to lay down and rest but didn't want to do that so she took us to the wading pool instead. It was crowded since it was so hot but we had fun and Adam and Gillian even met us there. We swam until 5 and then Mommy brought us home and made supper while we played outside some more. After supper we had to shower and go to bed early. Daddy read to us because Mommy started staining more of our fence.
6/10/2007	Mommy really thought we would sleep in but nope! Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came over and brought rolls for breakfast. They said good bye and headed home and then Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came! We ate lunch and then they went with Callie and Mommy to the theater for the second performance of Callie's recital. Daddy and I stayed home this time. Callie had to be there at 12:30 but it didn't start until 1:30 so they had time to walk around and visit. Callie did a great job again!! Mommy and Callie went to visit with the ballet teacher afterwards to say good-bye for the summer and then they called us to meet us for supper at Boston's. We ate and I told them how I practiced riding my bike all afternoon and as soon as we got home I showed them. Mommy was very impressed because I turn around the neighbors driveways all by myself - something Callie doesn't even do! Grandma and Grandpa watched us play outside for awhile and then they said good bye and we headed inside for bed.
6/9/2007	Callie had dress rehearsal today from 9-1 and then she had to be back at the theater at 5:30 for her 6:30 recital! Mommy, Daddy, and I went birthday present shopping and then met Grandma & Grandpa Ivey for lunch. We picked Callie up and went home for a nap before she had to go back. Daddy took her and saved seats for all of us - even Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace went! The very first dance was a Michael Jackson production and the whole studio was in it at different times. Callie wore a black leotard for that and then she was in the tenth dance too. She wore her blue tutu for that one and she did a great job! I really liked watched the dancers and seeing their pretty costumes but I was getting very tired so Mommy and I left at intermission so I could go to bed. I picked out a flower for Callie first though and Daddy gave it to her after the final curtain call - she didn't get to bed until after 11!
6/8/2007	We rode our bikes to the park for crafts again this morning. Today we made fossils with clay and seashells! We played for awhile and then went home for a snack and to the store so Callie could pick out her pinata. We came home to eat lunch and then Mommy filled water balloons for us to throw at each other. We had lots of fun and then Mommy decided to take us to a new spray/sprinkler park. It was really neat and not very busy so we had a good time but it wasn't that hot out so I got cold after awhile and wanted to go home. I fell asleep on the way back so Mommy and Callie played games. Amber, Uncle Tom, and Jace came over for supper - Daddy grilled kabobs. Callie had to go to bed early because she has her big day tommorow!
6/7/2007	We had our pictures taken this morning! Callie and I both had our hair cut yesterday and we wore our pretty new dresses so Mommy was happy with them. I was pretty nervous to have mine taken alone and I didn't want to say any of the words they kept asking me to say - in fact I just stared at the lady and didn't even smile. I finally walked over to whisper to Mommy that I didn't want to say any of those words so Mommy said that was fine but just to smile instead so I did. We played at the mall for awhile and then went home to play. After Megan and Matt woke up from their naps they all came over to play! We even put on our suits to run through the sprinkler - BRRR! Daddy came home and so we went out to eat at Subway with him and Kim's family too. Daddy had to leave for darts and then we had to say goodbye and go home too.
6/6/2007	Today was our turn to go to Gillian & Adam's house to play while Mommy went shopping. Callie and I were pretty tired out so after lunch Mommy insisted we take a nap - she had to lay down with us but we did both go to sleep. We ate supper early and then dropped Callie off for her recital practice. Mommy and I did some shopping and then we came home to play. Callie was done at 8 (it was a LONG practice) so Daddy and I picked her up and went out for ice cream on our way home.
6/5/2007	We went to the park for Crafts today and they were making detective things! Callie and I made spyglasses and then I wanted to play so she stayed and made a badge too and then joined us at the swings. Callie has been wanting to do the monkey bars by herself for a long time so today she decided to try it. First she practiced just hanging and letting go to get used to the fall. Then she went three bars two times! She wanted to go again to get to the fourth and SHE DID but she was getting so tired that she slipped at the fourth bar and fell flat on her stomach. Mommy felt awful for not having her rest her arms a bit and Callie was crying a lot but she finally felt better and after we rode our bikes home she called Daddy to tell him how good she did! We played outside all afternoon since it was finally so nice. Callie had ballet and then we all went to HuHot for supper because kids used to eat free on Tuesdays but not anymore so Mommy was really mad.
6/4/2007	I actually slept in until 8 today! We went to the libary for a puppet show today and Gillian & Adam were there and Callie's friend, Alex, was there too so he sat by her. We came home for lunch and playtime and then we had to pick up medicine for Haley and go with Mommy to her eye appointment. After supper Mommy read to us from our chapter books - I LOVE listening to Junie B Jones and Callie likes a Tinkerbell fairy series. Usually she reads her chapter but today she just listened. We are keeping track of the minutes we read so we can get prizes from the library!
6/3/2007	Mommy started working on Callie's birthday party invitations and game ideas today - she is having an Around the World Party and they are going to visit different countries and play a game at each one! Daddy took us to Rib Fest after he mowed and Mommy went shopping. It started pouring not long after Uncle Tom, Amber, & Jace met us there so we all had to go back home.
6/2/2007	Callie and Haile were up by 8 so we were able to play all morning. We went with them to Chuck E Cheese for lunch and the Hilschers met us to play games! We had so much fun we stayed until 3pm. We took Haile home with us so Jamie and Heidi could run errands and then they came to pick her up and go back to Aberdeen. We went to Uncle Tom's for dessert (ice cream bars - yummy!) and to hold Jace some more. I even held him this time!
6/1/2007	We went shopping this morning with Mommy and then we came home to play until Haile got here. Mommy tried to distract us with Callie's birthday party plans but we were very excited to see Haile again so that didn't help much. Jamie and Heidi finally got here around supper time and dropped off Haile and picked up Daddy so they could all go to a concert together. Mommy stayed home with us and after awhile Callie told Mommy that she and Haile needed some privacy so it was time for me to go to bed. Mommy and Daddy's friends came over after the concert and Callie and Haile were still up! They watched a movie in Callie's bedroom with the car DVD player and finally fell asleep around midnight.
5/31/2007	Happy 60th Birthday Grandpa Robinson! Callie and I went to a magic show at the library this morning and we saw Adam and Gillian there too. We bought more flowers for our backyard and then picked up Daddy for lunch. Mommy had us rest in our rooms because we were cranky but we just read (Mommy loves to listen to me 'read' to my stuffed animals) and then we went outside to plant the flowers and run through the sprinkler. Finally Uncle Tom called to tell us Jace was at home and so we got dressed and went over to see him! (we were in such a hurry I forgot my glasses and was quite upset when I remembered) He was very cute and soft - I kept trying to tickle his feet so he would wake up. Callie held him twice and so did Mommy! Then we had to go play in his 'tippy' closet because we just think that is the best part of Uncle Tom's new place and lucky Jace because it is in HIS bedroom!
5/30/2007	Mommy and Dena are going to alternate watching kids on Wednesday mornings so today was Mommy's turn. We all had fun playing (and Mommy even got some cleaning done) and then we all went outside to draw with chalk and Adam rode my bike. They left at lunch time and then after we ate, Callie invited Ann over. They even let me play with them so we had a great afternoon and Mommy worked on her never-ending bulletin board project! After supper, Daddy rented A Night at the Museum so we watched half of it before my bedtime. I was sort of scared but I kept telling Mommy I wanted to keep watching anyway.
5/29/2007	Callie and I played all morning and then after lunch we went shopping with Mommy. We picked out one patch each for a bag that we were making. We colored it and glued things on it and Mommy ironed the patch on so now we have neat library bags to bring home our books in! Callie had ballet and Daddy picked me up there so we could eat supper and then I fell asleep for the night on the way home. Callie and Mommy went to a summer book kick-off night at Barnes & Noble and then they came home to play games.
5/28/2007	We went to the hospital this morning to see Uncle Tom, Amber and baby Jace. Jace is in intensive care and they don't let kids go there so Mommy and Daddy took turns visiting him while we stayed in the waiting room and watched him on a tv there. Then we visited Amber in her room and Grandma & Grandpa Ivey came to town so we all ate in the cafeteria for lunch. We all went back to our house and after Grandma and Grandpa headed back home I finally took a nap with Mommy. Callie played and watched tv and then after a quick supper she had to go to ballet rehearsal and we went for a quick visit to the hospital again.
5/27/2007	We visited Great Grandma Ivey this morning and then ate lunch at the mall again - this time we wore socks so we could play in the playland! After lunch we were going to nap but Mommy could see that was useless so we headed to Uncle Chuck's farm to see everyone again and we both napped on the way. They had a big bonfire going and Uncle Chuck took us to see the cows and he tried to find his cat but he was hiding. Callie played with Liam, Mommy's cousin's son, but I wasn't so sure about that - I stayed pretty close to Mommy. We left the farm so we could eat supper with Grandma & Grandpa Ivey, Great Grandma & Grandpa Anglin, and Kim & Bob. AND GOOD NEWS - Uncle Tom called to say he and Amber have a little baby boy!! He was 6lbs 12oz and they named him Jace Seven Ivey! We went to visit Aaron quick and then we packed up and headed home so we can be up early to visit him tomorrow.
5/26/2007	We woke up early and got all ready to head to Aberdeen! We ate lunch at their mall and then met Aaron at the tree store so he could help us deliver the tree that Aunt Bridget and Mommy wanted to get Grandpa for his 60th birthday! After we delivered the tree, we took all of our things to Grandma and Grandpa Iveys and then went to the motel for the reunion/party! Lots of Mommy's relatives were there so we visited them - I was pretty shy but Callie wanted to hang out with Uncle Chuck and Jim of course. Daddy took us back to Grandma & Grandpa's at bedtime and then after we were asleep he came back to the party with Mommy.
5/25/2007	We didn't sleep in of course so Callie and I had fun playing right away this morning. At 11 it was time for Adam's birthday party!! He turned three today and had a rock star party with a really cool guitar cake that Dena made. We made guitars with cereal boxes and paper towel rolls and rubber bands, then we ate lunch (pizza - yummy!), and cake. We played outside for a long time too and then we had to go home. Daddy grilled and then it time for my shower and bed because I didn't nap. Callie stayed up and watched Daddy mow and then she and Mommy read books together.
5/24/2007	It was Callie's LAST day of school today! She cleaned out her desk and watched a movie. Mommy and I played Barbies and then picked Callie up. For a special treat Mommy took us to the Diner for malts and rice krispy treats - of course I fell asleep on the way so Mommy just held me while they ate. I think they had a nice conversation without me interrupting. Then when we left Mommy saw a parking ticket on her truck - she was so busy getting me out of the truck without waking me that she forgot to feed the meter! We went to the library next where Mommy found out she had a library fine for overdue books so I guess she just didn't have a good day.
5/23/2007	Today was Callie's big field trip! She went a dairy farm in the morning and watched cows being milked, held a 2 day old baby pig, and listened to a dairy queen and then had milk for a snack! Mommy took me to Daddy's work at lunchtime and then met the bus at the fairgrounds. She had picked up the kids' lunches at the school so everyone ate lunch in a building (the grass was too wet) and then they toured the old schoolhouse, log house, church, and train depot. The parents then drove the kids to a park for a snack (Mommy brought a big cooler with water for everyone) and they played relay races! There were two first grade classes competing against each other in a swimsuit relay and then a water cup relay. Mommy handed out ribbons to everyone and then it was time to head back to school to go home.
5/22/2007	Mommy spent today working on ribbons for Callie's Fun Day tomorrow and Dena & Adam even came over for awhile so they could bring more bandanas for the three-legged race! Callie is sure going to have a fun day tomorrow. After school Callie and I played and then it was time for her ballet class. We met Daddy at Pizza Hut afterwards for supper and then Callie and Daddy ran errands while Mommy took me home to bed (and I even fell asleep on the way back so it was quite easy for her).
5/21/2007	Today was my program and I woke up excited about it - especially after Mommy told me I could wear my new dress (she had been saving it for pictures). Daddy took the morning off so he could go too and they dropped me off in my room without any problems and headed to find a seat. I didn't look nearly as scared as I did during my Christmas program but I didn't smile too much either. I did sing though and did all the actions so Mommy and Daddy were very proud! We had cookies and lemonade in our room afterwards and then Mommy took me out for lunch to celebrate (Daddy had to go back to work). I chose the Pancake House and I had chocolate chip pancakes - yummy! We went shopping after that until it was time to pick up Callie and then we went home to play.
5/20/2007	Grandma & Grandpa (and Maggie) packed up and headed home today. Mommy decided having a young dog is maybe even harder than having a toddler! Poor Grandma had to chase after her the whole weekend because she kept wanting to get my stuffed animals and I wasn't very happy about that. We still love her though and Daddy even enjoyed having her "sit" on his lap! I took a nap (finally) with Mommy after we got home and Daddy and Callie went to play frisbee golf - they even did a full nine holes before Callie was tired of it. After I woke up Callie and I played very nicely together all afternoon so Mommy & Daddy took it easy and relaxed.
5/19/2007	Callie and I woke up at 7 all ready to go out for breakfast with Grandma & Grandpa like we always do. They even took us to the Farmer's Market (where Callie decided we should pick out flowers for Mommy!) and to Falls Park! Mommy and Daddy were getting ready for the shower back at home and they even managed to go out for coffee and a muffin too. We brought lunch home and ate outside and then it was time for Andrew's birthday party. Daddy took us both to the roller skate rink for it and he just watched so we both skated by ourselves and did a great job! Amber's baby shower was fun and it had just gotten over when we got home. We grilled supper and had leftover fruit and desserts from the shower.
5/18/2007	Callie was very excited because today Daddy met her for lunch at school! Mommy and I went shopping and then I helped her make carrot bars for the baby shower tomorrow. After Callie got home we both helped make peanut butter chocolate bars! Finally it was supper time and we met Grandma & Grandpa Ivey and Uncle Tom and Amber at Olive Garden. Then they all came over to our house so it was a late bedtime for us and since I didn't nap Mommy isn't so sure she wants me to help at the baby shower tomorrow.
5/17/2007	Today was my last day of regular preschool. We played, practiced our songs, and then we walked to a nearby park! Our parents met us there and we shared popcorn and lemonade and played. After school we went home for lunch and Mommy stained the front steps while I watched a movie - I was tired but I didn't want to nap. Callie and I played outside all afternoon. She gave her Squanto presentation today and she still had her costume on when we picked her up from school - she looked pretty cute!
5/16/2007	Daddy took his first test yesterday and passed - Yippee! He has two more to go. Mommy is pretty sure he never even studied this hard in college! Callie and I had dentist appointments this morning - I am always scared at first but Callie walked back with me so that made me feel better. And of course we have chairs right next to each other so I can lay back and look at her. We both had great check-ups - NO cavities! We took Callie to school late and then came home so Mommy could stain our front door. I got out cups, spoons, and all sorts of containers and played with water for a LONG time - I love doing that! After supper Daddy mowed while Callie & I played outside. Callie started learning about birds so she pointed out some to me today.
5/15/2007	I told Mommy today she should tell Mrs. LuAnn I wasn't going to be in the program and then I decided not to tell her yet because I don't want her to be mad at me. Mommy reassured me that wouldn't be the case but I still think she will be. We played a lot at school and Mommy was able to buy pictures of me from throughout the year (for a fundraiser) and then we emptied out my bin. After Mommy picked me up I told her maybe I would be in the program since all my friends would be there. Mommy and I took a walk today and then we voted and headed to Callie's school. I fell asleep on the way there and even transferred to my bed and slept until 5! When I woke up I asked if we had picked up Callie already and was very surprised when Mommy said yes. Callie had ballet pictures in Brandon today instead of class so we ate supper on the way there.
5/14/2007	Did I tell you that Callie got a trophy on Friday!! She was SO excited - she skipped out to the car to show Mommy. It was for raising more than $250 for the playground and it even has her name on it! We had to take Daddy to work after dropping Callie off at school this morning and then we went shopping. After school Kim and all the kids came over to bring back my old crib. We played outside until they left. Daddy got a ride to the fix it shop and picked up our truck. Callie had a ballet practice tonight with the other ages since they are all doing a song together. It wasn't until 7 so I had to stay home and go to bed because I hardly ever nap anymore so my new bedtime is 7pm.
5/13/2007	Happy Mother's Day! Callie woke up Mommy at 6am to tell her that she should sleep in past 7 today (ha!). Then we all went downstairs to color her a card and go get her coffee and a muffin from Caribou. Callie ran back upstairs when we got back to see if Mommy was ready to wake up and she was (imagine that!). We gave her a present and her cards and then Daddy walked in and she got the biggest surprise - he finally shaved his beard off!! Mommy was thrilled (although he does look quite different so we weren't sure what to think). We spent the day at home playing in the wading pool and on the slip-n-slide while Mommy painted and Daddy studied - he even brought his book outside and watched us. We grilled for supper and then we had to take the truck to the fix it shop (Mommy isn't too happy about that) and I fell asleep on the way home.
5/12/2007	Mommy had a toy meeting this morning so we hung out with Daddy. He took us to Burger King for lunch and then Mommy came home at 2. I was crabby and tired so Daddy and I watched a movie while Mommy and Callie went to the painting studio. They had a great time - even Mommy painted this time!
5/11/2007	Callie's school had Pastries for Parents today so we all went to eat donuts before school started. It was a thank you to all the parents AND Callie's class made the volunteers a present so Mommy and Daddy got an apron with all the kids handprints and names on it and a special thank you message from Mrs. Davids! Mommy and I left and spent all day at Kim's so I played with Abby until it was time to pick up Callie. I napped a bit on the way and then we stopped at home for a bit and headed back out to Brandon. Scott made all the kids supper (Andrew & Abby's cousins were there too) and we jumped on their trampoline until the rummage sale closed. Mommy packed up her stuff and we headed home - Daddy was out with friends so we had to go to bed without seeing him and we were very overtired and crying about everything so I don't think Mommy was too happy.
5/10/2007	I didn't want to go to preschool today because they are practicing for the program and I don't want to sing in front of people - I am too scared! I finally went and Mommy helped in Callie's class one last time before school is out (next week they don't need helpers). She had to go to Kim's to help set up the rummage sale after that so Daddy picked me up from school and when Mommy got home I gave her the present we made at school - a flower pot that I colored on and I planted the flower in it too! Callie and I played outside today and then Daddy came home to take us for dinner while Mommy went to Kim's to help run the rummage sale.
5/9/2007	I decided this morning that I wanted itching cream for my legs but I said "they are STILL NOT bites but I think it will make me feel better anwyway" In case you can't tell I have a huge bug fear and constantly scream for Mommy when I see a fly or gnat or anything remotely resembling a bug. Mommy and I went to Amber's today and filled out baby shower invitations because we get to have a party for her soon! We ate lunch with Callie and they were eating outside so that was lots of fun. Then I played very nicely with buckets of water while Mommy painted our garage door. Callie and I played house outside when she got home and Mommy painted until 6 when Daddy finally got home! We grilled kabobs for supper (well I had a hot dog of course but Callie loves steak and peppers but she gave the onions to Mommy). I didn't nap so I showered and was in bed by 7 while Callie helped move toys for Daddy so he could mow.
5/8/2007	It was back to school for both of us. Callie found out she had 10 mosquito bites on her - I guess they really liked all that water in Aberdeen! I found some 'bruises' on me but I insisted they weren't bites and Mommy didn't argue with me. After preschool I told Mommy I decided I wasn't going to marry Andrew anymore so Callie could instead because I am going to marry Cole. I fell asleep on the way to pick up Callie so she helped Mommy paint while I napped. Callie had ballet and tried on her recital outfit! Uncle Tom and Amber were at our house when we got home - Daddy was fixing their computer and Amber was registering for her baby shower online.
5/7/2007	Grandpa Ivey called early this morning to ask if we could buy generators and sump pumps because Aberdeen had 9 inches of rain this weekend and was flooding (and their stores were out of everything!) Daddy decided he wanted to go with Mommy and Callie wanted to come too so we all went for the day. We dropped off most of the equipment at Grandpa Iveys and saw all the water around their house then we drove to Grandma Robinsons and dropped off hoses at Chad and Jeni's house. Callie and I had fun splashing in the water in Grandma's basement and using the broom to swish the water to the sump hole. We played outside and then headed back to Grandma Iveys. The National Guard were there sandbagging and had huge army trucks so we thought that was fun to watch. Daddy helped them carry sandbags and then he took Callie on the four wheeler to look at more flooded streets. People were in boats in some places! We stayed til after supper and then slept all the way home.
5/6/2007	Mommy and Daddy decided it was going to be a shopping day today so we went to lots of stores! Callie and I each got some of the rummage sale money from selling our toys so Callie picked out a Polly Pocket Toy and I picked out a grill for our fort. Daddy found new shoes and Mommy found us dresses and herself some new clothes too! It was a fun day and we ended it with dinner at Granite City.
5/5/2007	It was raining again this morning but Daddy said he would watch the garage sale because he wanted quiet time to study for his big tests he has to take. Dena came over and we went and got donuts and coffee and then Callie and I played while our moms talked. At 11 Mommy and Dena went outside to start packing stuff up - not many people came today. Callie had her Brownie Bowling party at 1 so Daddy and I went shopping and to get his hair cut. I fell asleep on the way home and Callie went to Ann's house after the bowling party.
5/4/2007	Mommy was very upset when she woke up to pouring rain and complained that no one would come to our sale now. I told her "OF COURSE they will - they will just use umbrellas!" We went outside right away at 8 and one person was waiting for our doors to open but then no one came until after 9 when it wasn't raining as hard. Dena and Adam came over too so we played while our moms staying in the garage. We ate lunch together and then Mommy put me to sleep before Dena and Adam left for his nap and to get Gillian. Ann's mom brought Callie home from school and by then it stopped raining so more people were coming. We ordered pizza for supper and our dads were here to help with everything too! At 8 they closed the doors and we had to go to bed. We sure had fun playing all day! I even went and got quarters from my piggy bank so I could buy back my toy - just because I wanted to give the money to Mommy and play store!
5/3/2007	Callie woke up last night with bad dreams about the fire alarm going off and she couldn't go back to sleep for over an hour! Mommy was so tired from that and all the rummage sale work that she didn't hear dad's alarm and when she woke up it was 7:25 and Callie had slept thru her alarm too! She decided if she was that tired then she could sleep in so Daddy went to work and Mommy and I watched tv quietly until 8:40 when Callie finally woke up! I was ready for school so we got Callie ready quickly and then they took me first (so Callie could say hi to my teachers) and then Mommy took Callie. We made Daddy a gift for an early Father's Day (a pencil holder) and I took Star Wars toys for Show N Tell (for something that makes me think of Daddy). Adam and Dena came over after lunch to drop off more things and then after school Callie went to play at Ann's house until supper. Daddy had darts so Mommy put us both to bed early.
5/2/2007	Mommy and I moved all our toys in the backyard from the garage to get ready for our rummage sale. Jason brought over lots of tables after work so then Mommy and Daddy set them all up and after supper Dena came over to help Mommy get all the clothes and toys set up. I was a stinker about going to bed because I am used to Mommy staying in her bedroom and reading while I fall asleep and Daddy kept trying to go downstairs before I fell asleep! I finally went out in the garage crying to tell Mommy he wasn't doing it right!
5/1/2007	I forgot to tell you that Callie got to eat lunch outside yesterday since it was SOO nice out! Almost 90 degrees! It was only 70 today so a bit more enjoyable to play. we talked about Daddies at preschool and our teachers gave us May Day baskets. The siding people ran out of materials today so they left early and said they would come back tomorrow afternoon to finish. Mommy painted the little garage door but not the big one yet. Callie had ballet and then we went to her school for her art show/ice cream social. We saw Mrs. Davids and Callie's art project and then we ate ice cream cones - yummy!
4/30/2007	I had to run errands this morning with Mommy - we had to get paint to match our siding and groceries and few more things for the reception. Mommy took me to Dena's at 2 and then headed to the school to decorate. The girls had all painted flower pots and made tissue paper flowers so they were the centerpieces. The leaders all made snacks and so the girls and parents had treats and lemonade. Mommy handed out programs she had made to everyone and then they started with the Pledge and the Girl Scout Promise. The leaders took turns handing out patches and then at the end the girls and leaders surprised Mommy with a Thank You Card and a gift certificate - she was really surprised and happy! Callie and Mommy came to pick me up and we played with Gillian and Adam first. Then after we got home Daddy came to get Callie so she could go with to his corporate cup games and Mommy and I got supper so we had Date Night tonight I guess. I was super tired and had huge issues with bedtime.
4/29/2007	The alarm in the motel had been set and it went off at 6:30 so Mommy was NOT happy - both Callie and I woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep. We ate at the breakfast room and then went swimming and had the whole pool to ourselves. We went back to our room after that and watched tv (we like getting to watch Disney channel since we don't have it at home). We decided to pack up around 11 and we grabbed lunch at a drive thru so we could head home. Callie and I slept almost the whole way back and then we ran through the spinkler when we got home because it was HOT! Daddy had to mow and Mommy unpacked and started getting things ready for Callie's Brownie Awards Reception tomorrow. We were both in bed by 7:30 since we were tired out from our weekend.
4/28/2007	Well of course I was up early this morning (5:45!) and Mommy came in my room to lay down while I played (I didn't want to be by myself). Callie woke up at 6:30 and then we all started getting ready for our trip to Omaha! Since we were ready so early and even had donuts in the car on the way - we were at the zoo by 10:30! We went through the Kingdom of the Nights first (which I hate) and then had lunch at the monkey restaurant. After that we did lots of outside stuff - I was excited to see the elephants! I started getting pretty tired by 3 and I really wanted to go through the dome so Daddy and I and did that while Callie & Mommy went through the rainforest, which Callie really wanted to do. I fell asleep in the stroller so they went to the aquarium and then we headed to our motel. We rested for awhile and then ate supper and came back to swim. We stayed up and watched a movie and fell asleep very quickly!
4/27/2007	Mommy and I had to take Haley to the vet today - she is starting to get another sore on her tummy like last summer. Its pretty small so Mommy was hoping we could do something to prevent it from getting bigger and requiring surgery like last time but the vet said it looks like it might heal itself so we need to wait and watch her. We stopped at a rummage sale on the way home but I stayed in the truck to keep Haley company - Mommy just wanted to get a few Kim Anderson figurines the lady was selling. I didn't nap again of course so Mommy read to me for a long time and then we picked up Callie. We went outside at 5 and WOW our house is almost done!! I was so tired I could hardly stay awake during supper and then I was out by 6:15!
4/26/2007	We had Zippety Zoo Day today and we all brought stuffed animals to have a Zoo Parade! Then we had animal crackers for a snack except we got to frost a graham cracker first and put the animal cracker on it like a cage at the zoo! I didn't nap today so I played with Mommy and then we picked up Callie. At five when all the workers left we played outside until Daddy got home and then we helped Mommy make a pizza! Daddy had summer darts start tonight so Mommy helped us shower and then we went to bed.
4/25/2007	Mommy and I stayed home all day so she could work on more rummage sale stuff and Brownie stuff too - they are having their reception on Monday. Every once in awhile Mommy took a break to play with me and I made her use the timer so she really played 10 minutes each time! That was enough to make me happy! We picked Callie up from school and came home to play more. The siding guys are sure moving along - they started ripping off in the backyard today. Did I tell you that Callie went out to watch them the other day and she was asking them all sorts of questions about their staple gun and telling them how we never have had siding put on before. Mommy had to laugh at how unshy she is and I won't even say Hi to Mrs. Davids who I have seen every day for almost two years!
4/24/2007	I had fun at preschool today because we practiced our graduation songs! We also talked about the letter Z! Mommy and I played when I got home and then I fell asleep on the way to get Callie from school so they played a game by themselves why I napped. Callie had ballet and then we came home for a spaghetti supper - we skipped date night. We had to take baths and get Callie to bed early again. I might have told you already but I don't like anyone sitting on my blanket or pillow when they read to me at bedtime. Mommy was on my blanket tonight and it made me VERY mad because it makes it warm so I decided to lick it to cool it down - Mommy found that very funny.
4/23/2007	The siding people started right away this morning and WOW does Mommy LOVE our new color. It was really loud though and Mommy is going crazy with the mess in our house (we had to take all our pictures down and stuff out of our hutch and the kitchen is still messy from the sink project) so we left. We went to storytime at the library and then Adam and I played outside and then we ate lunch together before heading home for awhile. I played (it was way too noisy for a nap) and Mommy worked on rummage stuff again - I sure am having fun playing with all the baby toys she is getting out! We picked up Callie - she was very tired and crabby. Mommy thinks the test really stressed her out so Daddy grilled when he got home and we both had to go to bed at 7. Daddy finished the sink after we went to bed so Mommy is very happy she can put her kitchen back together!
4/22/2007	Mommy worked on rummage sale stuff again most of the day. Daddy took us to the butterfly house but I didn't like it again and we had to leave right away. Callie was sad so Mommy decided to take a break and take her back while Daddy and I went to Sam's. When we got back Daddy started working on the sink - things weren't going well so Callie and I played downstairs out of the way! We both had to go to bed early tonight - I didn't nap and Callie has district tests tomorrow!
4/21/2007	Mommy and Callie went shopping this morning but I had to stay home with Daddy because I was being naughty. I took a much needed nap when Mommy got home and then we played outside because it was beautiful out! Daddy taught me how to throw a frisbee and Mommy and Callie were playing baseball. The ice cream man even went by so Daddy bought us ice cream treats! We went shopping after supper and Mommy finally decided on a new light fixture for our deck and they got a new sink too!
4/20/2007	Mommy and I went to the coffee store with Dena and Adam this morning and then after lunch the siding people started on our house!! Callie had a busy day at school. She had a lockdown this morning to practice since as she told us "a man went whacko at a college" and then she went outside to pick up litter for Earth Day and then she went to the gym to watch the Kindergarten Circus!
4/19/2007	I took an X-ray of Daddy's hand when it was broken to show-n-tell today. And I showed my teachers and friends my glasses! Callie had an awards ceremony today for the spell-a-thon and she won a cd, a t-shirt AND she had a chance to throw a pie at Mrs Hartmann's face (the principal) but as she was standing in line she looked really nervous so Mrs. Davids went up there (she was on stage) and told her she didn't have to so she decided not to. It would have been in front of the whole school so Mommy said she would have been scared too!
4/18/2007	Callie got out of school today at 1 and she brought Lauren home with her to play. We had a lot of fun because they even let me play for awhile too! After we took her home Callie decided she wanted to rearrange her room and not have the haircutter in there. I decided I wanted it so Mommy said I had to pick something to move downstairs and I chose my little couch. Mommy went to move it and guess what? My glasses fell out!!! YIPPEEE! Everyone is quite happy and luckily the glasses store was trying to find new frames for me and so they hadn't started making a replacement pair yet - phew! We spent the evening playing and reading.
4/17/2007	I had a field trip today to the YMCA! We played there. I took my nap today and of course Mommy used that time to keep searching for my glasses - she is really hoping they turn up. Callie and I played barbies outside after school and then it was time for Callie's ballet. Afterwards we went to Uncle Tom's house for supper! He grilled and Amber made a yummy peach cobbler dessert (well everyone else thought it was yummy. I asked if there were peaches in it and when they said yes I decided I didn't want any). At bedtime tonight I asked Mommy if she was "happy at me?" She said she was still sad and upset about the glasses so I said "I know you are mad about the glasses but are you happy AT ME?" I think she felt bad then so she snuggled with me a bit before bed.
4/16/2007	Mommy and I ran errands this morning and I did so good she took me to lunch at CiCi's. Well this apparently was a bad idea because I ended up having a huge fit over the brownie she got for me - it didn't have enough spinkles on it. I started screaming and crying so she just picked me up and carried me to the car to go home - of course she realized she left her coat inside so she had to run and get that quickly while I chilled out. At home I got mad again and had more fits and finally she got me to lay down for a nap - it was then she realized I didn't have my glasses on. Needless to say she hasn't been very happy the rest of the day. She searched the house many times and called the restaurant twice and Daddy even drove there to look himself but no luck. We had Brownies but I think Mommy had a hard time concentrating there. Everyone was pretty grumpy this evening so we all went to bed early.
4/15/2007	We helped Mommy made Monkey Bread this morning - yummy! We played Barbies for a long time and then after lunch we went to the movie - Charlottes Web. I was very tired on the way home so I went to take my nap while Callie and Daddy went outside to play. When I woke up I came out too and Callie and I played bubbles and in the sandbox while Mommy & Daddy trimmed bushes. Daddy grilled again and then he made us purple cows for dessert - yummy! Callie was super tired today so we had to take baths early and she read her homework and went to bed. I did a great job wearing my glasses again today!
4/14/2007	I woke up and put my glasses on right away - I sure love them! We drove around and looked at houses today so Mommy and Daddy could see different colors. Daddy had an eye appointment today and Callie wanted to go with so Mommy and I went and had lunch (at Sonic of course) and then came home and played. Callie and Daddy went to HuHot after his appt and they walked through a car show too! We dropped Callie off at Kathryn's birthday party at 2 - they painted at Color Me Mine - and we went shopping. I got money for my birthday and I knew right away what I wanted - Barbie cheerleaders! Then we had to go to Lowes so Mommy and Daddy could look at outside light fixtures and at a new sink for Mommy. I was getting so tired I almost fell asleep in the cart and then I was out on the way home after getting Callie. When I woke up we grilled and then played games before bed.
4/13/2007	We took Callie to school and Daddy to work and then went to the coffee shop and met Dena and Adam there. Adam and I played very nicely for quite a long time while our Mommies talked. After lunch I didn't want to nap of course so I stayed up while Mommy talked to the siding guy - we are going to have a new colored house soon! Daddy picked up his car finally at lunch and then met us at the mall after work because Callie and I had eye appointments! It turns out I do need glasses so of course I picked out PINK ones! They are really cool and I was excited about them. Callie was quite disappointed she didn't need them and started crying about it in the store so Mommy said she would have to pick out some cool sunglasses soon to make her feel better. We ate supper at the mall and played while we waited for my glasses and then Daddy took us home and put us to bed because Mommy went out with friends.
4/12/2007	We had to take Daddy to work this morning because his car is STILL not done. I took Chilly Willy for show-n-tell today and of course I had to wear my new rainboots too! We had our eyes and ears tested at school and they told Mommy I should probably go see an eye doctor. Callie's class is working really hard with math problems because their big test is coming up soon so Mommy helped some kids with that and listened to some groups read too while she was there today. I didn't want to nap today so luckily Daddy found a friend who could bring him home because otherwise I would have fallen asleep at 5 and Mommy does not like that at all! We ate supper and took baths early because Mommy went to a candle party when Daddy got home. I went to sleep right away of course and then Callie read Daddy her homework AND she read a whole chapter book to him at one time! She told Mommy that she just didn't ever tell Daddy the chapter was over so she could keep reading!
4/11/2007	Happy Birthday to me!! I woke up and asked Mommy if I was 'still' really four and she said YES! We played with all my new toys and then we had to take Daddy back to work after lunch since his car is still in the shop. And did I tell you it snowed here yesterday? Six whole inches and it is supposed to be spring! After we picked up Callie from school we went to Grandpa's bank to see him - he has meetings here. He gave me my birthday present and of course we had to get suckers before we left too! We went to Chuck E Cheese for my birthday supper and Uncle Tom and Amber met us there. We ended up with over 400 tickets so we got good prizes this time!
4/10/2007	Happy Early Birthday to me! I was very confused about having a party but it not really being my birthday so Mommy gave up and decided today was my birthday (I asked her many many times if I am really four for real). I took cupcakes to preschool and my teachers gave me a tiny stuffed puppy! Mommy had the whole living room decorated when I got home from school and it sure surprised me! We ate lunch and I took a nap and then my friends came over. We ate my horseshoe cake and played horseshoes and threw beanbags in a cowboy hat and opened gifts. Uncle Tom and Amber came at the end too! After everyone left I picked my favorite supper, "picture macaroni & cheese" and I opened gifts from Mommy & Daddy. I guessed my guitar right away because the box was funny shaped and I was very excited to have new village pieces!
4/9/2007	Daddy had today off so we had a lazy morning. Callie and Daddy went shopping after lunch and I stayed home with Mommy. She made cupcakes for me to take to preschool tomorrow and she made my birthday cake too because tomorrow is my party! Callie and I played outside today since it was kind of nice out - we practiced our scooters. I didn't nap again so I was in bed by 7.
4/8/2007	Happy Easter! I woke up first this morning and ran into Callie's room to wake her and tell her the Easter Bunny came! We started finding our eggs right away - and realized the bunny didn't put jelly beans in this year but instead put hair clips, quarters, stickers, and M&Ms! Finally I found my basket (with Callie's help) behind the rocker and Callie found hers in the bathtub! Mommy made ham and sweet potatoes for lunch and then Callie and I played all day! Mommy & Daddy played on the computer, read, and were realizing they were pretty bored without us around. We stayed in our bedrooms for hours and finally they decided to play some board games by themselves - they decided it is very strange to have us growing up and not needing them as much.
4/7/2007	Daddy took us to get donuts this morning and BRRRR was it cold! Callie went to Lauren's birthday party this afternoon - it was a swimming party. Daddy and I played while she was gone and Mommy went shopping. We all went out for supper at Buffalo Wild Wings after Callie came home - Callie even had wings but I had mini corndogs. I was so tired since I didn't nap that I fell asleep on the way home and Mommy put me to bed at 6:30. Callie watched tv with Daddy and then she set our baskets out and some carrots for the Easter Bunny before she went to bed.
4/6/2007	Callie didn't have school so we played all morning and met Daddy for lunch. We both had to take naps since we were up so late and I slept for three hours! Once we were both up Mommy helped us make big barbie houses in the living room and we played barbies until Daddy got home and stopped quickly for supper and played until bedtime.
4/5/2007	Callie found 7 quarters and a train token from the tooth fairy this morning! We made Easter tomb biscuits today for our snack at preschool today and we played with baby chicks and a bunny! Mommy had someone over to talk about our siding today so I didn't nap until he left which was 2pm! She hated to wake me up to get Callie so she called Ann's mom and she brought Callie home - I was very surprised to see her home already when I woke up. Callie had a fun day at school too because Mrs. Davids' dog, Sadie, visited! Andrew, Abby, Matt & Megan came over to play and eat supper with us tonight! We even went outside and played for a LONG time in the freezing cold - Mommy thought we were crazy because we just did not want to come in.
4/4/2007	Mommy cleaned today so I played nicely by myself with my barbies and stuffed animals. She read me some Junie B Jones before my nap (I really LOVE Junie B) and then we went to get Callie. Callie was super excited because she lost her tooth in school!! I forgot to tell you that she was crying Monday night because she wanted it to come out so bad - she even ate an apple and it bled but wouldn't come out. Then it didn't come out Tuesday either which really surprised us because it was so loose but now it did - yippee! We dyed Easter Eggs after school today.
4/3/2007	Mrs. LuAnn was sick today and Mrs. Blythe is still gone so we had two subs - Mommy was sure I would tell I wasn't staying but I didn't mind at all! We made Easter cross necklaces and did the Bunny Hop today. It was super duper cold and Mommy felt like an awful parent because she didn't even send a hat with Callie. Callie had ballet tonight and then afterwards Daddy took us both to a firetruck convention he was invited to! His client makes firetrucks and they had all different kinds and colors that we could look at - some get shipped across the world. Mommy got groceries and met us at home so we told her all about it before bed.
4/2/2007	I didn't feel well when I woke up this morning and I had a little fever so Mommy was worried about Brownies. Luckily Dena was going to WalMart so she picked up the stuff Mommy needed (and at least she would have everything to give to another leader if need be). I was ready for my nap at 11 and I slept until 1:30 and I woke up feeling just fine! I had no fever and I ate lunch and played so I went to Brownies after all! We painted flowerpots for their reception they are having at the end of April. They also voted on their end of the year party and decided to go bowling! Callie's class has started a reading contest so she gets long books every day that she can read and of course she insists she HAS to read them all that very night they get sent home.
4/1/2007	We are going to get a new baby brother or sister soon. . . . APRIL FOOLS! Callie had lots of fun april fooling everyone and I tried to too but the only thing I could come up with was to say "gymnastics - then April Fools" I don't think anyone got my joke. We ate breakfast at Hardees for Daddy because he misses it and then we visted Grandma & Grandpa R again - Callie was sure to tell them that she ate a very unhealthy breakfast! We made Grandpa hide eggs again and then we headed back to Grandma & Grandpa Iveys for a quick lunch and to say hi to Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin. We then headed to Grandpa's office so he could "rearrange Daddy's bones" and we headed home!
3/31/2007	We visited Great Grandma Ivey this morning and then went out for lunch. Callie and I were both tired from our late night and early morning so we took naps and then we headed out to Grandma and Grandpa Robinsons. We had an indoor easter egg hunt! Grandma had put more toys in our playroom (Mom's old Barbies and barbie furniture) so we had a great time!
3/30/2007	I helped Mommy pack today and then she made Easter nests - I decided I wanted to play Barbies instead of helping. We picked up Callie, packed the car, and went to get supper before picking up Daddy from work. Then we headed to Aberdeen and played with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey and Maggie too of course!
3/29/2007	I slept in today until 8:40!! Mommy couldn't believe it - especially since I have napped all week! I had to hurry to get to preschool on time but we made it and I took Callie's Violet doll from Incredibles for show-n-tell. We painted vases and made flowers to bring home AND we colored Easter Egg cards for Mrs. Blythe who is still home resting from her surgery. Mommy made Callie and I supper because Daddy was only home for a little bit after work and then he had to go to a Darts Banquet.
3/27/2007	We talked about V in preschool today. When Mommy dropped me off I yelled "I hope you have lots of fun at your massage!" while she walked out the door - she thought that was pretty cute. And she did enjoy it (thank- you Uncle Tom!). I took a long nap today - in fact Mommy had to wake me to go get Callie. Callie was very tired though so we fought a LOT after school. Finally it was time for ballet and Daddy picked me up there so we could have our date night. We went to the mall to eat and play of course. Callie wanted to go to HuHot and since Tuesday nights kids eat free, it was a good night to go there! We had to take a quick shower and go to bed when we got home.
3/26/2007	I went with Mommy to run errands this morning and then we went to Storytime at the library - Dena and Adam were there too. After my nap we had enough time for a walk before getting Callie. It was super nice out! Callie and I played outside for a long time and then we rode our bikes to the park with Mommy.
3/25/2007	Grandma and Callie made cakes in her Easy Bake Oven this morning and then they had to go home. After my nap we went to the zoo! It was fun - although a rhino almost peed on us! After we got home Daddy had to go to a concert so Mommy put us to bed.
3/24/2007	It rained all day so we played inside today. Grandma bought us new summer sandals at Scheels and of course we had to ride the escalator a few times and then we went home for lunch and naps. Later Callie went to Sam's with Grandpa and Daddy and I went shopping with the girls. We all met at Red Lobster for supper - yummy! And Callie found out she can substitute shrimp scampi for popcorn shrimp in the kids meal so she was very very happy. We came home and Grandpa & Callie played Cooties while Mommy & Grandma took me on a walk. I rode in the stroller and found it very amusing since I haven't been in a stroller for a super long time!
3/23/2007	Mommy and I did lots of shopping today and I went with while she had a haircut. We picked up Callie and then waited until Grandma & Grandpa Robinson came! It was so nice out so we played in the backyard for a long time and then Mommy made tacos so we could eat and play more. Daddy & Grandpa took us out for ice cream while Mommy and Grandma went on a walk and then it was time for bed.
3/22/2007	Today it was U day and I didn't want to take an umbrella so I decided I would take my stuffed kitty and have her climb UP my arm! Mrs. Blythe was sick Tuesday and today we found out she has to have surgery so she won't be back for awhile - I was pretty sad about that. Callie was Student of the Day today and Mommy helped her class so she saw her wearing the crown! After we picked up Callie from school we went to Gillian's Birthday Party! We painted flowerpots and planted flower seeds in them and then we made stepping stones but I didn't want to put my handprint in them - yuck! We had cake and played outside since it was so nice out. When we came home Callie and I wanted to play more outside so we didn't come in for supper until 6:30 and then we had to rush with baths. Mommy isn't sure how she is going to keep sticking to Callie's bedtime with it getting nicer and nicer out!
3/21/2007	Callie has been playing bookstore at school so they can work on money so she was very excited for school today! Mommy and I ate lunch with her too. After school it was Abby's birthday party! We had our nails painted, make up put one, and made a bead bracelet too! Then we had cupcakes and jumped on their trampoline - it was a lot of fun!
3/20/2007	We learned about U today! I didn't want to nap when I got home so Mommy and I played instead and then we went shopping at the party store so I could decide on my birthday party. I want a cowgirl one - which really surprised Mommy! I was trying to decide between 12 Dancing Princesses and Doodlebops but when I saw a big silver cowgirl boot decoration I changed my mind entirely. Callie and I watched a movie afterschool and then she had ballet. We skipped date night since we ate out last night and we needed to get to bed early.
3/19/2007	Mommy and I had to go to the Girl Scout office to get more cookies this morning and then to the pet store. I love pushing my own cart and even wanted to full cat litter bucket inside - but then I couldn't turn corners with it so I was getting mad. Finally Mommy decided to buy some cat treats so those could go in my cart instead. We made it to the library for storytime after that and then home for lunch and a nap! We had Brownies today and the girls talked about safety rules and made poster and safety phone centers. Then we went outside to play games because it was very nice! Afterwards Mommy took us to Daddy's work so Callie could deliver her cookies there - its a super quiet office and of course I am NOT quiet so Mommy and I left pretty quickly and went to Qdoba to wait for them and for Jason, Abby, & Tanner too!
3/18/2007	Happy Birthday Uncle Tom! We picked up Tom and Amber and took them out for lunch to celebrate. Callie also had to deliver his cookies to him and to Jason after lunch. We went home so Mommy could help the brownies that were coming to get their cookies today while I took a nap and Daddy & Callie delivered some more cookies.
3/17/2007	We went shopping this morning and then came back so I could nap before the parade. At 2 we all went downtown for the St. Patrick's Day parade! It was fun and we saw lots of people who brought their dogs and they all had green bows or green shirts one too - that was funny! It was pretty cold so we only stayed for the first hour and then we went home to warm up.
3/16/2007	Callie had pajama and slipper day in school since their last one was snowed out. Mrs. Davids went home sick at lunch so she had a sub for the afternoon. We played together very nicely after school and then Mommy made us supper because Daddy wasn't coming home til later. A few of the Brownies came over and picked up their cookies and Daddy & Callie delivered the neighbors' cookies too!
3/15/2007	I took Callie's Tinkerbell to school for show-n-tell. We had a field trip today to the Outdoor Campus so we could see real turtles! I even petted one - the painted one but not the snapping one. Mommy didn't have to help in Callie's class because they had a firefighter there giving a talk and he even game them all a firefighter's hat! After school Callie and I played until it was time to pick up our Girl Scout Cookies! Daddy met us there because we had to take our booster seats out so there was enough room for all the cookies! We rode home with him and ordered pizza so we could work on the cookies. Callie and Mommy sorted them all out with a pile for each girl - Callie was very helpful and it didn't take nearly as long as Mommy thought it would!
3/14/2007	We had Adam and Dena over this morning to play! When Callie came home from school she told us all about what the leprechauns have been doing in her classroom. The last two days they have left notes and moved things around in their room - today some of the kids' chairs were missing! And Lauren thought she saw something green in the heater so that must be where they hide. I had to ask Mommy if they were going to come in our house because I don't like it when anything comes in our house - she told me she didn't think they would come here so thats good.
3/13/2007	Today we learned about the letter T and made turtles. I was very excited to show Mrs. LuAnn that I didn't have a bandaid OR mitten on! Mommy had a fun morning too - she went to the mall (something she has never done on her morning off before) and had a coffee and walked around to talk to people she used to work with! After school Callie and I were fighting a lot so Mommy put in a movie for us and then it was time for ballet. We dropped Callie off and Mommy and I had date night at McDonalds! Daddy picked up Callie and she wanted to take him to the Diner so he could see what it was like.
3/12/2007	It was super nice today and I just didn't want to take a nap so Mommy and I drew with sidewalk chalk after lunch. We went to the store and then picked up Callie from school. She was very tired and cranky but we did enjoy some outside play time. Mommy made us ice cream cones too! After supper we read stories and I asked Mommy if I could go to bed at 6:30! She tucked me in and I was asleep in seconds. Callie went soon after me. OH and I finally went the whole day without a bandaid OR my mitten!
3/11/2007	We went out for breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa again but this time Mommy and Daddy came with. They headed home afterwards and we played for a long time without even fighting or coming to find Mommy or Daddy! Later we played outside on our bikes and scooters - it was SUPER NICE out! We were super tired out from our weekend so we ate supper early and showered before our early bedtime. I told Mommy it wasn't even dark so I didn't think it was bedtime but she insisted it was.
3/10/2007	Grandma and Grandpa took us out for breakfast this morning and then we met Mommy and Daddy and headed out to the humane society to look at some puppies. After lunch and a nap I found out Grandma and Grandpa went back and adopted one! Her name is Maggie and she sure is cute. We played and I helped pick out some new toys for her at the pet store. Amber came over to meet her (Uncle Tom was working) and she ate supper with us too!
3/9/2007	Mommy and I went grocery shopping this morning and I didn't even wear my mitten (of course this took lots of begging from Mommy). Callie and I were very excited because tonight was Pizza Bingo - last year I was sick and so Callie went alone with Mommy. It was very crowded this year so we had to sit on the floor to eat our pizza and play bingo. Callie found her friends and went to sit by them and then I found my friend Alisha, from preschool! Her big sister goes to Callie's school. We ran around and chased each other - of course I had my hand in my jeans pocket the whole time - so Mommy thought I looked pretty goofy running that way but I didn't want anyone to look at my thumb (even though it has fingernail polish on it and looks totally normal). When we got home Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came over with Uncle Tom and Amber!
3/8/2007	It was Silly day since we are learning about S and I wanted to be just like Callie was for Wacky Day. I also took Sally (the car) for show-n-tell. Mommy had conferences with Mrs. LuAnn who says I do a great job at school and she has only seen small hints to my strong-willed nature. Then Mommy helped in Callie's class - the kids were counting change and she helped them! Callie was excited to tell her that she was taken out of class today for a test and it was really fun! Tomorrow is her big spelling test for her playground fundraiser - she is nervous because it is 61 words! She gets pledges for each word she gets right so she really wants to get them all right. Daddy had darts so Mommy put us to bed and I kept telling her my body wasn't tired yet but she wouldn't listen and told me she was going to take away my webkinz if I didn't stay in my room - that actually worked too and I finally fell asleep!
3/7/2007	I helped Mommy clean today - I really like to dust! Daddy came home after we ate lunch to watch me while Mommy went to the Dr - of course I didn't want to nap. Mommy picked me back up in time to go get Callie and Daddy went back to work. Callie had Olympics in her class and she won four medals and she had Hot Chocolate Day yesterday too! She is sure lucky. We played Barbies and school and then Mommy made us supper (Daddy had to work late). I went to bed still wearing my mitten that I wore all day yesterday and all day today.
3/6/2007	I was excited for school but since Mommy wouldn't let me put a band aid back on, I wore my mitten. She explained it to Mrs. LuAnn but I did take it off to wash my hands before snack so Mommy was impressed! I learned all about Easter in chapel and told Mommy that "Jesus had a crown of pokes put on him and then he was put on a pole thing with nails and he died and blood came out. Then they covered him in a blanket and put him in a cave. BUT don't worry because it has a happy ending - He comes alive again!" Mommy thought I did a very cute summary. We picked up Callie today - she wasn't having a good day. I forgot to tell you that yesterday she went to a play at the middle school (but Mommy couldn't be a driver) and it was very sad but she didn't want to talk about it. She had ballet today and then it was DATE NITE! Daddy and I went to Fudruckers and Mommy & Callie went to the Diner.
3/5/2007	I wasn't going to shower again today even after Mommy said I couldn't go to the puppet show. But then I found out Adam was going and so I said I would take a quick one! Of course I kept my mitten on but afterwards Mommy got me to change my band aid when I told her it was stinky (she agreed!). We met Adam at the puppet show and then went back home for a nap so I was rested for Brownies. We made Shamrock Wands and then sang songs and played melodies on glasses filled with water. After supper Daddy went to Walgreens to get lots of new nailpolish to convince me to paint my nails and not wear bandaids anymore. Callie had hers done in all black. Finally I decided on dark purple and pink and Mommy said you couldn't even see the black underneath! But I still wore my mitten to bed (No band aid though!).
3/4/2007	I didn't want Mommy to change my bandaid today even though it was falling off and you could see the black thumbnail anyway. Instead I just wore my glove ALL day. We went to the mall and played at the playland and I kept my one mitten on the whole time even though I kept slipping since I couldn't hold on to the climbing things very well. Mommy called me Michael Jackson! I even wore it while we ate supper with Uncle Tom and Amber. I refused to take a bath tonight and Mommy decided it will be better to convince me in the morning when I am not so tired so she let me skip it this time. Oh and Callie had her Splash Party today for swimming lessons so Daddy and her went swimming while I took my nap - Daddy said Callie swam really far and did a great job!
3/3/2007	It was Callie's last day of swimming lessons and she passed on to level two! I told Mommy I don't want all those people watching me if I take lessons again. We went home for lunch and naps (Callie too because she was tired out) and then we met Erkonens at Chuck E Cheese! We played lots of games together and then it was time to head home. We watched the rest of a movie and then Daddy slept in the tent with us - but I decided I wanted to be in my bed so I moved back to my room.
3/2/2007	We didn't have school again today and Daddy's office was closed too! We set up our tent to play camping and then we watched a movie, played board games, and I napped. We even bundled up and went outside to play on all the huge drifts while Daddy snowblowed! Daddy had to help someone get unstuck by our house too but he decided our truck would be fine so we went out for supper because Mommy was getting stir crazy! It was time for bed when we got home and we decided to sleep in the tent with Mommy - yippee! I actually slept in it all night too - most of the time I decide I like my bed better.
3/1/2007	We woke up and Daddy told us school was cancelled! Callie was sad because it was Slipper Day at school and Mommy had just bought us new slippers the other night. Plus she was supposed to have her friend, Lauren, over after school. Mommy said it wasn't going to get bad until lunch so had Lauren over at 9 and she stayed and ate lunch with us and then went home. Daddy came after that to get the truck because he wanted to work until 2:30 (although his office closed at 1). I didn't nap so I was getting very crabby and Callie was pretty tired out too so we both went to bed early. Daddy didn't have darts either so he and Mommy had movie night.
2/28/2007	Callie had Wacky Wednesday today since it is still Dr. Seuss week at her school. Yesterday was Hat day and they read Cat in the Hat. Mommy and I went shopping this morning and then the snow really started coming down so we went home and played with all my stuffed animals. Callie and I had fun playing after school and Mommy made breakfast for supper to keep up with Wacky Wednesday!
2/27/2007	We are having review week at preschool and getting ready for conferences. I told Mommy they asked me to walk down the stairs with only one foot on a stair at a time and I do NOT like doing that - it's too scary. Mommy played Barbies with me and Callie after school and then it was time for Callie's ballet class. We dropped her off and went to have our Date Night at Dairy Queen! Daddy picked up Callie and they went to the Brazilian Restaurant since Daddy still had another coupon for a free meal there.
2/26/2007	Mommy and I went grocery shopping this morning and then it was time for my nap BUT I just couldn't fall asleep. Mommy said I wouldn't be able to come rollerskating tonight if I didn't but I told her "I just wasn't up to skating anyway". I helped her make puppy chow (yummy!) and then we picked up Callie. We ate an early supper and as soon as Daddy got home, Mommy and Callie left for the school skating party. They saw Ann, Lauren, London, and Derek there. Callie told Mommy that she didn't want Mommy to hold her hand and she could only help if Callie fell down. Then she wanted to go around by herself and Mommy had to watch! Mommy ended up spending more time talking to other parents than skating - it sort of made Mommy sad how fast Callie is growing up!
2/25/2007	We had lots of snow when we woke up so Daddy went out to snowblow and we helped shovel. Callie even shoveled all of Jackie's steps for her! Then it was time for crafts - we made bumblebees out of paperplates and painted pictures. Daddy started getting tired of being at home so we went shopping for awhile and then out for supper.
2/24/2007	Callie had swimming lessons again and they started testing her since next Saturday is her last day -she did a great job! We went to Sonic afterwards and then shopping since Daddy was at darts again. We met up with him at home though because his team ended up losing so he was all done. We played and watched Survivor.
2/23/2007	Mommy and I took Callie to school today because Daddy had darts this morning and couldn't be late. Then we met Dena and Adam at the coffee shop - there are toys there that Adam and I played with while our moms talked. Then they came over to our house to play and Adam asked where our little bench was. Our bench was GONE! Someone swiped it. We were very sad. Mommy drove around the neighborhood on the way to Callie's school just in case whoever swiped it, decided to put it somewhere else but we didn't see it. Daddy was home by 4 (and he is in second place so far!) and we went out for an early supper and then to Family Fun Night!
2/22/2007	I took my rings to school today for show-n-tell. Mommy helped at Callie's school and was able to listen to her reading group as well as two others! Mommy and I went shopping afterwards and I spent my very first gift card (I called it my credit card) that I got for Valentines Day! Callie had already used hers to buy a Barbie desk and I bought a barbie and cowgirl hat! We got our hair cut after school and I almost fell asleep - I sure find having my hair brushed and played with relaxing (plus I didn't nap today). Daddy didn't have darts tonight because his tournament starts tomorrow so we played games after supper.
2/21/2007	Happy Birthday Great Grandma Ivey! Mommy and I went to Kim's today so Abby and I could play while Matt and Megan napped. Then we picked up Callie from school and I fell asleep on the way home. Mommy and Callie read and did crafts until I woke up. I still have issues with my thumb and bandaid so tonight I decided I had to have a glove on while I took a bath.
2/20/2007	I learned about R in school today and we painted rainbows! After my nap, we went to pick up Callie and some of the other brownies for a field trip to the Outdoor Campus! I had fun sitting next to London and even playing with her there too. We had a Bingo sheet we had to find all the animals at the museum. On the way back to the truck, I fell off the curb into a puddle of water and my head hit the pavement so I was NOT very happy. We only had time to change my clothes and rest for a little bit before it was time for ballet! Daddy picked me up there and we had our date night at the mall so I could play at the new playland and then we met Uncle Tom at Best Buy. Mommy and Callie had chinese and went straight home because she was super tired after her big day.
2/19/2007	Callie didn't have school again so we had a fun day with Mommy. We made a snowman since it was finally nice out, played games, and made a craft together! We even sat on a blanket in the living room for lunch and had a picnic. Daddy ate supper with us but then he had to go to a Darts game so we were confused and thought it must be Survivor night but it wasn't. Instead it was bath and early bedtime night because we both go back to school tomorrow!
2/18/2007	Callie and I were so excited that Aaron & Alison were still here when we woke up (last night they had planned on leaving after we were in bed). We ate breakfast and played LOTS of games with them before they had to go. Daddy took Callie and I to the Pavilion today so Mommy could get some things done. We had a lot of fun there and for our snack we had the ice cream in a bag that astronauts eat in space!
2/17/2007	Callie and Mommy went to swimming lessons and I went to the pet store & Best Buy with Daddy and then McDonalds and home for a nap. Mommy and Callie did some shopping and went to vist the Humane Society again since Mommy has fallen in love with another dog. Aaron and Alison came over at 5 and we all went to eat at Granite City. It was bedtime bed when we got home and they stayed up and played grown-up games.
2/16/2007	We went to Backyard Adventures with Andrew, Abby, Matt, and Megan! It's a swingset store that lets kids play there and we had lots of fun with the slides, swings, and forts. After lots of playing, we all went to Fridays for lunch and Mommy & Kim were very happy with how good all of us 6 kids were. Callie and I both had to take a nap afterwards since we had been up late last night and then after supper we watched part of a dog movie - it was starting to get sad so Callie and I decided we were ready for bed.
2/15/2007	I have a bad cold and just wasn't feeling up to school today, especially when I found out Callie wasn't going, so I stayed home (Mommy and Callie were kind of bummed because they had a fun morning planned). We played instead and I took a long nap after lunch. After supper, Daddy took us to Uncle Tom's new place so we could hang out while Mommy went with to Daddy's darts! We watched a movie with Amber while Uncle Tom vacuumed his new carpet and put his TV together! Mommy picked us up around 10 and we both fell asleep in the car on the way home.
2/14/2007	Happy Valentine's Day! We woke up and found valentines and little gifts on the table for us. Daddy surprised us with new Webkinz! I got a terrier and Callie got a basset hound. We had gotten Mommy a new one too - we couldn't find her a black lab so we chose a bunny instead. We got Daddy chocolate covered cherries, his favorite. I have a bad cold so Mommy and I just stayed home and played today and while I was napping, Daddy came home to watch me and Mommy helped at Callie's party. They exchanged cards, had a treat, and played a fun game called Be My Valentine. The kids really liked it and were laughing and having a great time so they had to play it again! It was a very nice Valentine's Day.
2/13/2007	I had my Valentine's party today! Mommy brought the snack and we ate that, made a pretty valentine craft, and delivered and opened our cards. It was a lot of fun although I really like Mommy to stay close when she is there so I did cry a few times when she walked away to help the other moms. Callie had ballet tonight but first we stopped at her book fair to pick out our books since we didn't get to that last night and then after ballet we skipped date night and met Uncle Tom instead! He treated us to supper at Cici's Pizza and then he took us over to his new place and gave us a tour. Callie and I wanted to keep going back upstairs we thought it was so neat but we had to go home and get ready for bed. We are going back when the carpet is all in and his furniture gets moved in though!
2/12/2007	Mommy and I made cupcakes, cookies, and heart shaped jello jigglers for my Valentines party tomorrow (and for Callie's on Wednesday). Callie had her conferences tonight so we met Daddy at school for those then looked at the book fair, AND ate supper in her lunchroom to help them get money for a new playground! Mommy had to work at the bookfair after that and I was NOT happy about her leaving me. I screamed and cried in the lunchroom as she walked away so Daddy figured it wouldn't be wise to go back to the bookfair to get our books as planned - we will have to go tomorrow after school. I was fine once we got home and watched some tv and then it was time for bed.
2/11/2007	We met Grandma and Grandpa for breakfast before they had to head home. Mommy almost didn't come because she still wasn't feeling too well but Daddy convinced her to tag along. We all went back home and rested and then worked on our Valentines! I decorated a shoebox for my class - Callie has been working on a bag in her art class for hers.
2/10/2007	Callie didn't feel well this morning so she skipped swimming lessons and we rested. We met Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle Tom for lunch but Calllie didn't eat and even started falling asleep while we were there! We all went home and napped and then Grandma came over to play. She brought us sock puppets to make so we had fun gluing those and then Grandpa came over so we all went out for supper. Mommy stated feeling icky after that so she put us to bed and went to sleep too.
2/9/2007	Mommy and I went shopping this morning and after we picked Callie up from school, Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came over! Then when Daddy got home, Uncle Tom and Amber came over and we all ate supper at our house and we even had birthday cake for Daddy.
2/8/2007	I asked Mommy today if we had magnets inside us because I wondered how God got our legs and arms to stick on? I took Queen Amadala to school for show-n-tell. After we picked up Callie we went to Gillian and Adam's house to play. Dena had to leave for conferences for a little bit so Mommy stayed to watch everyone. We had a lot of fun and then it was time for baths while Daddy made us supper. I really didn't want to take my bandaid off but Mommy said I had to have a bath - finally she agreed to just let me keep my hand out of the tub. Survivor started again tonight so we were quite excited! And Callie told Mommy after one team got a couch, "WOW this is like a WHOLE NEW survivor this time!" - Mommy thought she sounded just like a commercial!
2/7/2007	Mommy and I met Callie for lunch today! Callie was eating hot (a cheeseburger) but we just brought our sandwiches. Today Callie finally got to play outside for recess - they have been having LOTS of inside ones. Mrs. Davids was gone so she had a sub today. Callie and I played while Mommy cleaned and when the phone rang Callie picked up. Mommy figured it was either Daddy or Derek since we didn't come to get her but later found out it was Kim and Callie had told her we were downstairs so maybe she could just call back later because we didn't want to go get her!!! Mommy had to talk to her about phone manners after that! It was our date night tonight so I went with Mommy but I didn't nap so I was pretty tired and then fell asleep on the way home so Mommy tucked me in with my clothes on. Callie & Daddy enjoyed Fudruckers and played Pac Man!
2/6/2007	I slept last night without a bandaid (from when I slammed my thumb in the door) and it was very hard for me. I had to keep it hidden in my nightgown all the way to the bathroom this morning to get a new one. It is very purple and Daddy keeps trying to tell me its colorful and pretty but I get extremely angry when people even TALK about it. We talked about the letter Q at school today. Callie had ballet and Mommy had a meeting so she made us supper before ballet so Daddy just had to take us home and put us to bed - we will have our date night tomorrow night. And Mommy just had to mention that when she got home and Callie & I were both sleeping she found Daddy playing WEBKINZ! She thought that was highly amusing since he used to make fun of her playing it!
2/5/2007	Today was the 100th day of school! Callie's class showed off their projects and had to answer questions about them and then they sat them all on their desks and paraded through the other first grade rooms to look at everyone else's projects. Callie said they did lots of other things with 100 but it was TOO MANY to remember. We had Brownies today and all the girls handed in their cookie forms but first they had to pick out their top buying customer to write a thank-you to (not counting parents) so Callie wrote Uncle Tom a thank-you because he bought 10 boxes! Then they worked on their animal badge by playing some animal games and making a pet poster.
2/4/2007	Happy Birthday Daddy! Mommy went and picked up Daddy's favorite breakfast (bacon burrito from Taco John's) and some coffee so he could sleep in - except Callie was very excited for him to check on his webkinz so he had to get up anyway! We played games and stayed home today and then Uncle Tom and Amber came over for supper and the SuperBowl! I didn't nap so I was in bed by 7 and Callie had to go to bed at 8 so they actually had some grown-up time.
2/3/2007	Callie had swimming lessons (I didn't want to go and Mommy was fine with that). After my nap and some playtime we were all getting bored and cranky so we went to visit the dogs and cats at the humane society and then took Daddy out for an early Birthday Supper to the Brazilian restuarant. I don't really like anything there but Mommy and Daddy were SOO proud of me sitting quietly and just coloring while they ate. Callie ate tons of different meats again and then we went home and really wanted dessert. Mommy decided we should just have Daddy's party tonight so we surprised him with an ice cream cake she had hid in the freezer and we gave him our gifts. I picked out a robot IZ that makes music and Callie gave him an elephant Webkinz! We had to go downstairs of course and get Daddy's room set up right away and Callie taught him how to play lots of games. Then Daddy left to watch some big fight at a friends house and we went to bed.
2/2/2007	It was Fabulous Friday at Callie's school so after lunch (which they ate in the hallway) everyone went to stations throughout the school to learn fun things! Callie went to a zoo station to pet animals, a fish station to make a craft and listen to a fish story and a star lab. Mommy and I had Adam and Dena over for a playdate and then stayed home to play. Callie went to a friend's house after school and even stayed for supper! They made their own pizzas and ate them - she said they were great. I didn't nap so I was just going to bed when she came home.
2/1/2007	It was pajama day today and I took my pillow and Pumpkin, my webkinz, for Show-N-Tell. We had popcorn and pretzels for a snack! Mommy helped at Callie's school - she was even able to listen to Callie's group read this time! After lunch we took the truck to the garage for an oil change and Daddy met us there. We had lunch with him and dropped him off at work and ran lots of errands. While we were at the bookstore, Mommy had to call Dena about a book and while she was leaving her a message she looked up to see Dena right next to us! Adam and I played and then it was time to pick up Callie. We went home for a snack and then we had to finish shopping for Daddy's birthday and pick him up from work. We used Callie's certificate for pizza and then we picked up the truck and went home for an early bedtime since I didn't nap and Callie was tired out from the long week!
1/31/2007	Callie finished her two big projects for school! She made an apple puppet for her health class and she learned facts about apples - tomorrow is the puppet show! And Monday is the 100th day of school so she chose to glue 100 pom poms on a big tagboard (and she made it say 100 with them). Mommy is going to take the project tomorrow when she helps so she doesn't have to carry it. We played lots of games today and I took my nap from 3 to 5 again - Mommy is getting quite tired of that schedule.
1/30/2007	Daddy took me to preschool today because Mommy was a driver for Callie's field trip this morning. They went to First National Bank (where Mommy used to work) and took a tour. They have a Junior Acheivement Volunteer from there that visits every Friday so she was the one who set the tour up and they even saw a $500 and a $1,000 bill! Mommy picked me up and we went home for lunch. I would not nap even though I was super tired but finally I fell asleep on the way to pick up Callie. Tonight was Date Night so Daddy met us at ballet and took me to Sonic for supper (my choice and I ate in the front seat with him!) and Callie chose the new Dairy Queen because Mommy hadn't been there yet. They were going to go to Pizza Hut because Callie has been getting book it certificates for free personal pizzas but she changed her mind after ballet (much to Mommy's dissapointment).
1/29/2007	Mommy and I went to the library for storytime today and then we went shopping. I asked Mommy if tonight was my date with Daddy but she said it was tomorrow - I am sure excited. I told her I bet we are going to go to Sam's, Best Buy, and Sonic! Mommy had a meeting after supper so Daddy played with us and made us malts - yummy!
1/27/2007	We didn't have swimming lessons today so we went shopping instead. Callie had to buy a birthday present for Ann but I fell asleep on the way to Target (at 10am! - of course I woke up at 6) so Mommy stayed in the car with me. I woke up when they were inside Best Buy so then we decided to go out for lunch. We took Callie to Ann's house for the party and then Mommy and I went shopping. I am a very good helper when I am by myself so Mommy enjoyed her time at the store. We picked up Callie and they weren't quite done playing Hide-N-Seek so Ann's mom said I could play too! Then we went home and worked on Valentines.
1/26/2007	Mommy and I played lots of games today - I am really good at Candyland and Hi Ho Cherry O now. I also like my new Curious George Uno that Santa brought me. Derek called Callie twice afterschool to set up times to meet in Webkinz World! We watched Muppet shows with Mommy and Daddy while we ate supper on TV trays! Mommy doesn't understand why I am so worried about bad things all the time. I asked her if she remembered to lock all our doors tonight and then after she said yes I wondered if the bad guys would just break the glass in our windows! She had to think fast and reassure me that IF bad guys ever did that (I won't take the there are no bad guys coming answer)they would get really hurt on the broken glass and they would have to go to the hospital. I was very happy with that answer and finally went to bed!
1/25/2007	I took Opus, Daddy's penguin, to preschool and wore an orange shirt. It was Mrs. Blythes birthday so we had orange cake along with carrots and cheetos for our snack! Daddy brought me home because Mommy was babysitting Abby, Matt, and Megan. We all ate lunch together and then Abby and I played barbies while Mommy put the twins down for a nap - and wow were they easy to get to sleep! She gave them each their paci and blankie and watched tv on the couch and in a few minutes they had each conked out. Kim picked them up right before we had to get Callie for school. Callie was super excited because she had a 6:30 date to meet Derek in webkinz world! She visited his virtual house and they played games.
1/23/2007	I had preschool today and we talked about the letter O and had oreos for a snack! Mommy and I played barbies and then I took a nap in the car on the way to get Callie (Mommy left a little early so I would have a little more time to sleep). Callie and Derek are sending each other notes through their webkinz now so she was excited to find out what he sent her today! Mommy took her to Daddy's work right before five so she could sell some cookies to Andy (he had told Daddy he would like to buy some) and then quite a few other people saw her in her sash and asked if she was selling cookies and they bought from her too! Tuesday nights is our new Date Night with Mommy and Daddy. Tonight Callie stayed with Daddy - he took her to ballet and then out to eat and Mommy and I went to the bookstore and out to eat and next week we get to switch and I will go out with Daddy! Mommy realized that she and Daddy started dating 17 years ago today - I think that is making her feel OLD!
1/22/2007	Mommy & I went to storytime today - the stories were about dancing and then we did the chicken dance and the hokey pokey! I brought my stuffed animal and had him dance too - the librarian thought that was pretty cute. Daddy helped with computers today but he said it was really chaotic because Mrs. Davids wanted the kids to google different foods and research them - it ended up being way too hard for them, especially since most of the kids couldn't even spell their foods right. We had a Brownies meeting and they did the paper mache braclets that Callie and I had tried and then they painted socks too with fabric paint! So they finished their patch for Wearable Art now. The library was being used today so we had our meeting in Mrs. Davids' room instead. Oh and the tooth fairy brought Callie 8 quarters again!
1/21/2007	It was too snowy for us to go to Aberdeen today for Great Grandpa's birthday party so we stayed home and played in the snow with Daddy. Callie lost her second tooth today too!! We went with Callie to sell some more cookies today and then we took baths to get ready for bed. Callie was super tired since she didn't nap and we had been up so late last night. She left her tooth in her tooth box and went to bed.
1/20/2007	I was excited to go back to swimming lessons today but the dock they had me on was too deep. The water was just under my chin and I started crying & no one noticed so Mommy was getting very mad. Finally when someone moved me I was too upset to continue so Mommy had to get me out. Mommy is not impressed with my teacher so I might not go back. Callie started selling Girl Scout cookies today! I threw quite a fit because I didn't want to nap and wanted to go with so Daddy found me in the garage with my boots & coat on climbing a table to open the garage door. After he took my boots & coat off I just ran outside in the snow in my socks! I finally napped and then Tom and Amber were here to take us to Chuck E Cheese so Mommy and Daddy could go out. We had lots of fun, had ice cream later, watched a movie and tried to go to bed but of course wouldn't until Mommy & Daddy were home. I told Mommy "that girl just didn't know how to do my blankets right!" - Mommy thinks I'm too anal.
1/19/2007	Mommy and I played today and watched Annie! I have been wanting her to watch it with me for awhile now and then we had to play it with the barbies of course. Callie was going to Lauren's house after school today so Mommy picked them both up and took them there. I finally took my nap after that so I could go to Family Fun Night. We ate a quick supper when Callie got home and then we went! We had snowmen painted on our faces, jumped in the inflatables, played lots of games - even Bingo, and won prizes. We had a fun night!
1/18/2007	I took my bear that Daddy got me from New York for show-n-tell today. Mommy helped in Callie's classroom - they were learning about how snowflakes are symmetrical! Mrs. Davids' beagle, Sadie, was visiting there since all the kids had green all day yesterday! Daddy picked me up from school so Mommy could run a few errands and then she met us at home. Callie and I played outside in the snow after school and then Mommy made cookies and after our snack we helped her with a craft she might have the Brownies do. Callie told her it was pretty messy but she they will probably like to do it. We took our baths while Daddy made supper and then we had to go right to bed afterwards because we were both so tired!
1/16/2007	I had school today but Callie didn't so they went to the coffee store and then to the bookstore so Mommy could get a book about strong willed children - I guess she thinks I am one of those! I was pretty excited to show Aunt Bridget my school and Callie was excited to show Mrs. LuAnn that she lost a tooth. After lunch we made bead bracelets and then it was time to take Bridget to the airport. Callie had ballet and Daddy met us there so Mommy could run to the store and then we all ate supper and went to bed early - we were tired out from our fun weekend. Happy Birthday Grandma Ivey!
1/15/2007	Daddy had to go back to work today. It snowed last night so Callie and I played in the snow all morning while Grandpa snowblowed. They had to leave after lunch so Bridget and Mommy took us rollerskating! Bridget really helped Callie practice to skate by herself. We ordered pizza when Daddy got home and of course I had another fit during my bath. Then it was time for bed! Happy 80th Birthday Great Grandpa!
1/14/2007	Daddy had to go to darts right away this morning. We played and made sandwiches for lunch. Daddy called to let us know he was still winning! Mommy and Bridget took us swimming at the pool we take swimming lessons at and I did a great job. Daddy stopped there to tell us his team won first place!! We headed home and went out for supper together. I was super tired and so Callie and I were both asleep early so the grown ups had a fun night playing games.
1/13/2007	I woke up and didn't want to go to swimming lessons. Mommy tried to change my mind but I didn't want to so she finally gave up and let me watch instead. Afterwards I had a huge tantrum because she put on her coat first and then mine - I wanted her to take hers off and do it the right way but she wouldn't so I screamed and cried a lot! We ate lunch and then picked up Aunt Bridget from the airport - yipppee! We were both very excited for her to come. Then Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came to our house too. Mommy finally got me to nap and they made lots of munchies for our Christmas celebration. Daddy came home from darts - he is winning so we were all excited for him. We ate and opened gifts and then it was time for bed.
1/12/2007	Mommy and I cleaned today to get ready for our company - I am a very good helper! I took my nap really early and then we had time to get groceries on the way to get Callie from school. It was super cold out so she had inside recesses all day yesterday! Mommy made us an early supper and then Daddy took us to daycare so they could eat supper and go to his darts tournament! We had a lot of fun playing and coloring there. Mommy picked us up at 9 and said that Daddy was doing good when she left! We had a bedtime snack in the car and were ready for bed right when we got home.
1/11/2007	We are learning about M this week so today was Make Believe Day! I dressed up as Laura and I took my mermaid barbie that Uncle Tom gave me for Show-N-Tell. Mrs. LuAnn was a snowman for Make Believe day - it was pretty funny! I was very proud to tell Mommy when she picked me up that I didn't have an accident today! She helped at Callie's school and read a book about Ruby Bridges to the whole class and then helped them make posters and armbands about her and how great it was that everyone can go to school together now. They even got to walk through some classrooms in a parade to show their signs! Mommy and I met Daddy for lunch at the mall and then we had to shop - we even saw Mommy's cousin at a store - she liked my Laura Ingalls bonnet!
1/10/2007	We picked up Callie today and all of her friends are into Webkinz now. She told them all about it on Monday so Monday night Derek got one, and last night Lauren got one, and today Kathryn's grandma asked Mommy where to buy them!! I guess Callie is starting something! We went shopping after school so Callie could get new tennis shoes and Mommy let us pick out a snack at the store - yummy!
1/9/2007	I had preschool today - I was very excited to show my teacher my new shark tooth necklace (from the aquarium) and tell her about tubing. And I took Pumpkin, my webkinz too. When Mommy picked me up I ran to her and cried and cried - she could hardly understand me I was so upset so the teacher had to explain I had an accident and just felt SOO bad about it that I had a really tough morning. On the way home I told Mommy I just really wanted to nap first and not even eat lunch so I did and I slept until 2:25 - right before Mommy was going to wake me to go get Callie! So then I had no time to eat lunch until after we picked her up. Mommy decided we would go out and Callie could eat just eat an early supper since she is always so hungry after school and she had ballet too. We all ate and then went home to play a bit and then it was time for ballet. Daddy met us there because then Mommy had to leave for a meeting.
1/8/2007	Callie went back to school today! Daddy helped at computer class and found out there was a sub who didn't really know what to do so he ended up being the teacher for awhile! The kids had been standing outside from recess so another teacher went to get them and he helped them hang up coats and gave them a bathroom break and then had them line up all before the sub even got done with her phone call! We had Brownies after school and we made paperdolls and then we had a meeting with all the moms and dads about selling cookies! We even tasted the new kind - Lemonades. Callie practiced with me and Mommy being the customers so she is all ready to start selling on the big day.
1/7/2007	We met Uncle Tom and Amber for brunch this morning! Then we went shopping because I lost my foot charm on my shoe and Callie decided to use her tooth fairy money to buy another one for her shoes too. This afternoon we went to Great Bear to go tubing! We thought it was very neat they had snow there since we don't have any in our yard. I wanted to just sit and play in it forever. We rode our tubes up a big big hill (a rope pulled us) and then we chose one of three hills to slide down. I sat in Mommy's lap and Callie sat in Daddy's. It went SUPER FAST but we both loved it and wanted to go again and again. We even stayed until dark and rode down with the lights on.
1/6/2007	Today was our first day of swimming lessons! And it was my very first time ever. I was really afraid I would get a boy teacher but I didn't. I was too scared to put my face in but I did blow bubbles (carefully so I wouldn't get too wet) and I floated and kicked with the teachers help. Callie worked on the backstroke and she jumped in too. Mommy and Daddy thought it was pretty weird to not have any kids with them while they sat and watched! I was super tired so I went home and took a nap while Daddy and Callie went out for lunch and went shopping. We played and watched a movie after supper and then it was time for bed.
1/5/2007	Mommy & Daddy were happy we slept in until 8:30 because Callie had a hard time falling asleep last night - she was SO excited about her tooth! She ran into the bathroom to check her tooth box (she thought it was important for it to be by our nightlight so the toothfairy could read her note) and she had left her 8 quarters! We ate our donuts and watched Disney (we don't have this channel at home so its always exciting to see it) and then we decided to try the pool again. Still cold so we just sat in the hot tub instead. We ate at Bucca's for lunch and then headed to the Science Museum. That was a lot of fun! Callie really liked looking in the microscopes at things and the xrays of the birds that had broken wings. I was scared of the mummy but then Daddy told me he was a good church man and he died but he was GOOD so then I was ok about it all. We left the museum around 5 and stopped for supper on the way home. Callie and I were both fast asleep by the time we got to our house!
1/4/2007	We ate breakfast and then went swimming but BRRRR it was cold so we didn't last long. As we were walking to our car to go to the mall, Callie lost her tooth! We were so excited for her and she was very surprised that it came out so easily! She and Daddy went back in the room to put it in her toothbox (luckily she had thought to pack it just in case) and then we headed to the Mall of America. We ate lunch and then Daddy took us on rides and to the aquarium while Mommy shopped. He tried to talk Callie into the rollercoaster but she was too scared. We left around 5 and we both took a little nap in the car on the way to Fridays to eat supper with Erin, Connor, and their mom and dad! We talked about our Webkinz because Erin has them too! Then it was time for bed - this time we got to Krisy Kreme before it closed. I was very nervous about the tooth fairy coming so I had to sleep with Mommy and I wanted the blanket OVER my head so she couldn't see me!
1/3/2007	We packed our suitcases this morning and waited for Daddy to get off work at five so we could go on our trip! Mommy had taken us to the library this morning and we checked out a book on cd. It was How to Eat Fried Worms. We were all really liking it but then I started crying and wanted them to turn it off - I thoguht I heard a noise and was convinced there was a snake in our truck. Nothing Mommy said would console me so they didn't get to finish the book. We got to Minneapolis at 9 and went right to our motel. Daddy thought it would be fun to get donuts from the Krispy Kreme there but by the time we got there they were closed and by the time we finally went to bed it was 11!
1/2/2007	We had Gillian and Adam come over this morning to play! After lunch Mommy had us both take naps because we were pretty crabby. Callie's tooth is sure getting looser!
1/1/2007	Happy New Year!! Mommy was surprised that we didn't sleep in longer but I thought 8:30 was pretty good! I forgot to tell you how much Callie cried last night when she saw on the news that Krispy Kreme closed - we are very, very sad about that! So we had grocery store donut holes instead. Callie was invited over to Lauren's house for the afternoon and then she even got to stay for supper! Mommy took all the Christms stuff down (well she left some up downstairs since Aunt Bridget is coming soon) while I took a long nap and then went shopping with Daddy. Callie was very tired when she got home from Lauren's so it was time for her bed right away but I stayed up to watch a movie with Daddy.
