12/31/2008	Happy New Year's Eve! We invited Gillian, Adam, and Jacob over to play - along with Dena and Brad of course. They even stayed for supper so we ordered pizza and played the Wii. They went home around 7 and then we played the Wii more and watched the New Year's Special. I tried hard to stay up until the ball dropped but both Mommy and I fell asleep on the couch around 10. Daddy woke Mommy up and she tried to get me up but I didn't respond so they watched the ball drop with just Callie. They even stayed up until midnight to watch the countdown on Animal Crossing, our new Wii game that has real time on it. Mommy carried me to bed after that and Callie went to then.
12/30/2008	Callie was very anxious to try out her new Cookbook that Grandma Robinson gave her so she made donuts for us. Well Mommy had to fry them but she had gotten all the ingredients and supplies out and she shook the sugar over them after Mommy took them out of oil. They were YUMMY! After we were all ready for the day it was time to do some shopping. Mommy had a few returns and we had Christmas money to spend. Mommy tried to explain the importance of thinking hard about what I want but that is just so hard for me because I just want whatever I see first. Mostly I wanted a baby doll, something Mommy couldn't understand since I have a few of them already but she tried to be quiet since it was MY money. I found a neat that one that cries and has her cheeks turn red when she is sick and I have to give her medicine to make her better and then she laughs! Callie decided to buy a barbie doll - something else that really surprised Mommy. We came home and had tons of fun playing with them and we still have a lot of money leftover. Oh and we ate lunch at Chuck E Cheese - something Daddy had told us we could do during our break!
12/29/2008	We played again this morning with Grandma and Grandpa until it was time for them to go home. Cosmo ran around outside once more with Miley and then we said our good-byes. After lunch it was time to have the Brownies Ice Skating Party that had to be rescheduled. Callie and I tried out our new skates and it was really fun. Mommy even skated and it had been a long, long time since she had ice skated but she didn't fall down (although Daddy was poised with the camera just waiting for that moment!). I used the walker and after a bit was really cruising. Callie did both but like always she was very cautious about how fast she went. Our ankles were tired out afterwards! We went home and played and I fell asleep while watching Daddy play a Wii game around 5. Callie and Daddy decided to go out for supper and Mommy carried me to my bed. I woke up at 11 right when they were going to get ready for bed. Mommy made me a quick sandwich and we watched some TV and then Daddy said I could sleep in their bed if I went back to sleep right away, which I did!
12/28/2008	We slept in until 8:30 and then went to eat breakfast. Mommy's cousin and wife were eating too with their two kids so we said hi again but then they had to leave to head to another Christmas in Oklahoma. We swam for awhile and then started packing. Grandma Robinson called and said they would meet us at home - they finally gave in and decided to bring Cosmo after all. We unpacked and played for a bit and then they were here! Cosmo and Miley had lots of fun playing in the backyard. I wanted to just open gifts right away but of course I had to wait. We visited and ate supper and FINALLY it was time. I had to play with my gifts of course and then Callie and I had to go to bed - it was almost 10 again so we are sure getting late bedtimes!
12/27/2008	We came home around 11 and Mommy and Daddy were all packed for Nebraska so we just ate a quick lunch and hopped in the truck to go. We went to our motel first and went swimming. We were the only ones in the pool so it was a lot of fun. The motel had noodles, diving toys, and a beachball so we played with those and then sat in the hot tub. We got dressed again and headed over to Mommy's Aunt Charlene's house. Great Grandma was there and so were Morgan and Charlie the kids we played with there before. Awhile later another of Mommy's cousins came and he has two more kids our ages so we had more kids to play with. We ate supper and lasagna for supper and then it was gift time. All the kids sat in a circle to open the gifts Great Grandma had bought and then we went to play with them while the grown-ups had their gift game. Mommy was really trying to get the last tree skirt her Grandma made but one of cousins stole it from her so she picked beer glasses and a t-shirt from her Uncle's bar (which Dad really wanted) but then another cousin stole that from her so she ended up with a boring gift. Oh well we had a fun night but we were very tired on the way back to the motel.
12/26/2008	This morning we did some shopping - Callie and Daddy had to go to Sam's Club and I went with Mommy to the mall to buy calendars since they were on sale today. We wanted a playdate after lunch but when we called Lauren and Avery they said they wanted to have us sleepover but first they had afternoon plans with their Grandma. We just played at home and then they picked us up around suppertime. We had a great time playing and stayed up until 10 - Avery and I slept on an air bed in the family room while Callie slept in Lauren's room. Mommy and Daddy got to have a date night so they went to Texas Roadhouse and then came home to rock on Guitar Hero!
12/25/2008	Merry Christmas!! Callie woke up before 6 but waited until 6 to wake up Mommy. Mommy tried to convince her to rest for awhile so I could get more sleep but of course she was way too excited so she came in and woke me up (although it took awhile for me to register what she was telling me!). We ran downstairs and we both tore into the gifts. I went through my stocking first while Callie opened the big gift first - which was Ivy, the American Girl she wanted! I opened mine then and it was Mia!! We were both very excited and went to play with them right away. Mommy and Daddy went back to sleep for awhile and then we all made Monkey Bread together. Later we made sandwiches for lunch and played Wii games all afternoon. Mommy made tacos for supper and then we played more games and then it was time for bed. We had a good Christmas!
12/24/2008	Merry Christmas Eve! Mommy let us open a present this morning after we were all ready for the day. It was something she had made herself for our schoolroom! A bulletin board with job pockets and nametags for all our stuffed animals. So of course we played school for the rest of the morning. After Mommy took Miley to the dog park we all went out for lunch at Red Lobster. We came home to play a bit more and then us three girls went to church. I loved holding the candle during Silent Night! We came home and it was PRESENT TIME! I decided we should take turns passing gifts out so that was fun and we all had great gifts to open. Mommy got a Wii Fit and Daddy got a GPS system and Callie and I got TONS of things. We got American Girl clothes AND Mommy sewed us mattresses, pillows, and blankets for bunkbeds that they gave us for our dolls! We played for a long time and then set out cookies and carrots for Santa before bed.
12/23/2008	We reminded Mommy about the gifts of course and she had one for each of us pulled out from the tree. I got PJs for Katie and Callie got a puzzle so she and Mommy started working on it right away. After lunch we all went to the Bevery Hills Chihuahua movie - it was cute! Jackie came over right before supper and brought gifts for us so we were able to more open more!! She got us notebooks and coffee cups we can decorate with markers, which of course I had to start drawing on RIGHT AWAY! Mommy said we could sleep by the Christmas tree tonight so we laid out our blankets and pillows and turned out all the lights except the tree. It was pretty and Mommy even slept with us!
12/22/2008	Daddy has vacation until January 2nd so we were all home today! After lunch I went to Alisha's to play until 5:00! Callie watched some TV and hung out with Mommy. We keep asking Mommy if we can open a gift early and finally she said maybe tomorrow!
12/21/2008	Callie and I actually slept in until 8 today so Mommy was impressed. We took our baths this morning because today Callie had her ballet performance at the mall. We had to take her there early but luckily she was one of the first performers and then she was able to leave. We headed home and played games the rest of the afternoon! After supper we watched a Muppets Christmas show and then it was time for bed. We are quite excited that there are only three more days until Christmas!
12/20/2008	We all slept in today. Callie was the first to wake up at 9 and I slept until 9:30 or so. It was snowing and blowing when we woke up so Mommy was a bit worried about getting Miley since the kennel is out of town but she said it wasn't as bad as she had thought once she got on the highway. We had to clean up after the party and snowblow too so we just stayed home and worked on that. Except I had a birthday party to go to at 1 at Mara's house! It was a princess party and her mom painted our fingernails! After supper we all had to go to bed early since we were still tired out from our very late night.
12/19/2008	Today was our last day of school until 2009! Daddy had the day off so he came with Mommy to take us there and then they had to go home and get ready for our party tonight. Daddy took Miley to Top Dog and then went to a work lunch party while Mommy headed to school to set up Callie's holiday party in the library for the third graders. Daddy came to my party when it started. We had stations and made wreaths, played musical chairs, and had a snack. We also had a book exchange and they gave us half of a Christmas tree and we had to find the matching other half to find out who we exchanged with! Our teacher ALSO gave us each a book and an ornament! Callie had a snack station, bingo station, and a relay station and they had their gift exchange earlier in the day. After school we had to take Mommy's rental truck back and get hers only when we picked it up, we found out it hadn't even been fixed!! Well it had but not the actual crack - they had only fixed a scratch and repainted but left the crack there. Mommy and Daddy were quite angry and it was five by the time this all happened so they couldn't get a hold of any insurance agent. We ate supper and then headed home before our guests started getting there! We had 11 kids plus Callie and me so it was loud, crazy fun. We played in the basement - Daddy had even set up Nintindo since the grownups were going to play Wii. It was a fun party and we were up until 1 AM - that is latest I have ever stayed up!
12/18/2008	Callie was very excited this morning because tonight was the big concert. First though we had a pizza party at school for all the kids who turned in their reading logs. After that Callie had R.A.P. (read all period) where she got to take her pillow and PJs and read whatever she wanted. Mommy picked us up and she was in a new, silver Durango! Hers is being fixed so she gets to borrow this fancy one. I took a bath since I missed out on that last night and then it was time to drop Callie off at the Pavilion. We met Daddy for subs, went home to get the camera and tickets and went back for the Bobby Vee Concert. The kids were all out singing right away with the band and then Bobby Vee came out and sang a few more songs with them and then the kids left while he sang more. I was trying hard to stay awake until he sang his Rubber Ball song that Grandpa Robinson was telling us about, but I couldn't. After a short break the kids came back out at the end and sang his hit, Rubber Ball, and they threw lots of beach balls around the audience! The kids were all dancing and bouncing around - Mommy said it was really neat. They sang a couple more Christmas songs and then it was over.
12/17/2008	I was really tired today so Mommy and I didn't have a good afternoon. I spent a lot of it in my room and finally had to go to bed at 6:30 at which point I fell asleep instantly. Did I tell you we wrote letters to Santa? Mommy reminded me I have to be nice so Santa can bring me what I want. I really want Mia, the American Girl. I have wanted her for a very very long time so I hope I get her. Callie had wanted a suprise from Santa up until our Minneapolis trip and then she decided she wants another American Girl - either Ivy or Josephina. We of course are counting the days down until he comes!
12/16/2008	Happy 1/2 Birthday Callie! Since she doesn't get to take treats to school on her real birthday, Mommy made cookies and Christmas candies for her to hand out today. We haven't been having outside recess since it is SOO cold but luckily both our teachers let us just play inside (last year Callie just had to keep on working if recess was cancelled). We played school when we got home and then it was time for supper. Afterwards Mommy took Callie to ballet and I helped Daddy snowblow. We got a lot of snow during the day!
12/15/2008	Mommy took us to school this morning and on the way there a high school boy ran into the back of us! We are all ok (although poor Miley did hit the windshield but seemed fine). I started crying though because I didn't want to be late and Mommy knew it was just going to take forever so she called Daddy. Thankfully he hadn't left for work yet so he was able to come get us and take us to school - we were still 10 minutes late or so but not the hour it took Mommy to wait for the police and fill out the report. Her bumper was only cracked so not nearly as bad as Daddy's accident. We had Brownies after school and the girls made two kinds of Christmas ornaments! Mommy made supper and then we had baths and it was time for bed - I wasn't happy about not having much time to play but Mommy reminded me our Christmas vacation starts soon and then we will have lots of days at home - yippee!
12/14/2008	We did more baking this morning - cut out cookies, fudge, and tree cookies. Callie's Brownies Ice Skating Party was today BUT it turned out the open skate was cancelled so they didn't get to have it. Mommy didn't find out until we got there at 1 so we couldn't even call people to tell them so they all had to go out in this horribly cold weather (35 below wind chill) for nothing! I went to Alisha's birtthday party at 4:30 at her house while Callie and Daddy played the Wii. It is so cold out we keep hoping they will cancel school tomorrow but Mommy said she doesn't think they will. DARN!
12/13/2008	Today was our Christmas Baking Day! We helped Mommy make Christmas candy, oreo balls, gingerbread men, and party mix but then she got her bad headache back so we had to stop. Callie had a playdate over at Lauryn's house (a girl from her class that she has never played with before). Daddy made supper when she got home and Mommy went to bed when we did.
12/12/2008	It is Friday!! Daddy took the day off so he and Mommy could have the whole day to themselves - something they haven't done since I started school. They dropped us off and then had to go pick up Daddy 's car since he partied a bit too much at darts last night. Then they did a lot of shopping and took Miley to the dog park. Daddy picked us up from school because Mommy wanted to get to Kohl's sale that started at 3 and he took us to the mall to get birthday gifts for our parties we are going to this weekend. We headed home and Mommy came just in time to take Callie to Camille's party. It was at a motel so they got to swim and have pizza. We went to A&W for supper after we dropped her off and then home to watch Christmas shows. I was just going to bed when Daddy brought her home - she had a fun time! Oh and Mommy had to share the card Callie made for Camille- it said "I am so glad you are my friend and not my enemy" Mommy thought that was pretty cute - the things kids come up!
12/11/2008	Mommy felt much much better today so she took us to school and got lots of shopping done. We came home on the bus and had a good time playing with her. Then it was time to deliver all the gifts the Brownies troop had picked out for the family we sponsored. Afterwards we met Daddy at Cici's since it was Robert Frost night - I even saw my friend Alexis there. Mommy thought it was cute watching me go say hi because I am too shy to get their attention so I just stood by their table until they noticed me. We came home and Daddy had to leave for darts so Mommy put us to bed.
12/10/2008	Mommy' headache was still there when she woke up so Daddy took us to school again and she sent a note to Callie's teacher that she couldn't help this morning. After lunch though she started feeling better! She had to go back to her Dr one more time but then she felt well enough to go help Callie's class with their desk wrapping party. They each got to wrap the top of their desk with wrapping paper to make their class look festive! They even had treats to help celebrate. Afterwards it was time to go so Mommy picked me up from my class and took us home. We played and worked on Christmas gifts and then after supper it was time for showers and bed.
12/9/2008	Mommy still had her headache but she took us to school and then called the Dr. She had to have blood taken, a head x-ray, and a shot for pain (which ended up not even working). They told her to go to the hospital for a catscan since they couldn't find anything wrong but that didn't show anything either. Mommy said that is good of course but she really wants her headache to go away. They prescribed pain pills and it looks like those aren't going to work either because she was sleeping on the couch most of the evening. Daddy took Callie to ballet and even picked up a few gift cards Mommy has been needing to buy for teachers.
12/8/2008	Mommy took us to school today and then she went grocery shopping. Later while she was walking Miley, she started getting a horrible headache so she was resting on the couch when we got home from school. Daddy made supper when he got home and he helped us get ready for bed because Mommy went to bed right away after eating. She sure hopes she feels better tomorrow and so do we!
12/7/2008	I was up at 7 with Mommy and played with my new barbie quietly in bed until Mommy decided she was tired of laying there so we went in the bathroom and I played in there while she showered. We snuck out and watched tv in the lobby until everyone met us for breakfast (except Daddy and Callie because she slept in until 9!) We got ready quickly and packed up the car. We all decided to go to the Mall of America again and then after awhile Grandma and Grandpa had to take Michelle to the airport and then head home so we said our good-byes. We stayed and ate lunch with Tom, Amber, and Jace and then I went shopping with them and Daddy while Mommy and Callie played mini golf! We met up at 2 and then it was time to go home. We both slept for awhile and then played until we picked up Miley (just in time too!) and then went home to unpack. Mommy gave us baths and then it was time for bed - we sure had a good time and a great early Christmas!
12/6/2008	After breakfast we went swimming (Daddy watched us while Mommy got ready) and then we got ready to go to the play! Grandpa took us to The Christmas Carol at the Guthrie Theater downtown. We ate lunch there first and then the play started at 1. It was really fun and then we met up with Grandma, Michelle and Jace (Tom and Amber were at a wedding) for supper. Afterwards we headed back to the motel to swim and everyone swam this time! We got in our pjs and I was ready for bed but Callie stayed up and played games until after 10.
12/5/2008	We were up early and ready to go see Aunt Michelle but Mommy made us wait until 7:30 so we dressed and played until then. We all went down to eat breakfast together (well Jace sleeps in so they came a little later) and then we were ready to go to Macy's. We all split up today but Aunt Michelle came with us! We parked at the Mall of America and took the train downtown. The display was all about the elves - Callie kept pointing things out to Mommy so she was really excited about it! We took the train back to the mall, had lunch and went shopping. And of course our first stop there was the American Girl Store! I wanted absolutely everything I saw there but Mommy told me I was getting gifts tonight so I needed to wait. Then I just asking Mommy if we could go back to the motel and open our gifts NOW! We met everyone for supper at Fridays and then finally it was time to have our Christmas. Callie and I got ice skates! We also got new outfits for our dolls and new barbies so we were thrilled.
12/4/2008	Mommy picked us up after school and we went home to drop our bookbags off and then it was time to go to Minneapolis! We stopped to get subs on the way out of town and then we all just ate our supper whenever we wanted. Callie and I had fun coloring, playing with our American Girls, and watched a movie until we were finally there! Our motel was really "fancy" we thought so we had to walk all around and check it out. Grandma and Grandpa were picking up Michelle and taking her out for supper so we just went swimming with Jace and then it was time for bed. Mommy and Daddy brought the baby monitor so they could hang out in the lobby and visit with everyone while we slept.
12/3/2008	It snowed last night so we had to wear our boots and snowpants again. We weren't used to that and so we totally forgot to pack our shoes - luckily Callie's teacher let her call Mommy and then she drove them back to school. She had to stop and talk to a teacher anyway that has been trying to get in touch with her about Callie's test scores. I guess she gets to start going to a special class two times a week now to work on fun, challenging projects. Mommy was feeling a little better so she said we could have playdates - I had Brooke over but Callie's friends were all busy so she just worked on crafts. She had a sewing kit so she sewed her doll, Julie, a pillow!
12/2/2008	Mommy had to sub today and I had a sub in my class too! She told us all about her day after school - she had a boy that was very naughty and the principal had to come CARRY him out of the classroom! Mommy started getting Daddy's sickness last night and by the time she got home she didn't feel good at all so she laid on the couch while we played. Daddy took Callie to ballet after supper and then it was time for bed.
12/1/2008	It is December! We went back to school today although I was complained I was tired and Mommy told me I had to remember to be extra good after school for the Brownies Field Trip EVEN if I was tired. We had a snack first in the art room and then Mommy had the three driver's daughters draw names for their groups and then their group drew which child they got to shop for. We went to Walmart so we could buy gifts for our family we are sponsoring. Callie's group drew the 2 year old boy so we bought him a stuffed monkey, a hulk toy on a motorcycle (He had asked for that) and some cars and trucks. We also had money left over so then our list said to buy toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and shampoo. The girls had a great time picking everything out and adding it all up to make sure we had enough money. We met up with the other two groups - and combined all the gifts in a laundry basket that Mommy will deliver next week so the family can have it in time for Christmas!
11/30/2008	Happy Birthday Miley - she turned one today! After lunch Daddy took us to the Pavillion but Mommy stayed home so she could work on some Christmas gifts. We brought her home a coffee to cheer her up because Daddy thought she was having a bad day. We played our Wii today and then it was time for supper. I also decorated a paper gingerbread girl for school - it was our homework and Callie helped me find buttons and things to glue on.
11/29/2008	I was awake by 7 but Callie actually slept past 8! We played all day today - Mommy said the stores would be too crazy so she was just going to stay home. She finished up the last Christmas decorating and Daddy rested since he still doesn't feel that well. After lunch we did our Gingerbread Houses! I have been very excited for this so I got right to work but of course I was also finished way before Callie. She put lots of details on hers this year! We watched Shrek the Halls with Daddy and then it was time for bed.
11/28/2008	We woke up at 7 and ate breakfast and I guess Mommy went shopping and then she came out to visit around 9:30 while Daddy ate breakfast with Grandpa Ivey and his hunting buddies. We left around lunch and went to pick up Daddy so we could go out for lunch since he was home alone. After lunch Grandma Ivey came back from her hair appointment and she took us swimming at the Y! They have a neat water park inside there so we lots of fun playing - Callie even went down the big waterslide. She took us out for a snack after that (cake and ice cream) and then we headed home. Once Grandpa Ivey came home from hunting we ate supper together and then left for home. I fell asleep before we even left Aberdeen and Callie was asleep soon after that so Mommy and Daddy carried us in once we got home and put us to bed.
11/27/2008	Happy Thanksgiving! I was so excited (and I went to bed last night at 6:30) that I woke up at 5:30 and woke Callie up too. We got dressed and went in to wake Mommy - she told us it wasn't even morning and we should lay back down but we told her we were already dressed! She still said we needed to lay down but of course she is pretty sure we didn't fall back to sleep since we kept coming in to check if it was time to wake up yet! We watched the parade and then headed to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house for lunch. She made turkey and all the thanksgiving food, including pumpkin bread which of course was my favorite. Uncle Chuck came to eat with us too! We played all afternoon and then kept asking Mommy and Daddy if they were going yet so we could start our sleepover so finally they left. I guess they went to a movie but we helped Grandma decorate the tree. Of course I told her the Dora ornaments were for little kids and I am 5 1/2 so I don't like Dora anymore. After that we had ice cream and went to bed because we were quite tired from our early morning!
11/26/2008	We didn't have school today! We woke up and packed to head to Grandma and Grandpa's house. We picked up Burger King on the way and ate lunch in the car and got to town around 3. Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin came over to eat supper with us and then I was very tired so I told Mommy I wanted to go to bed. Daddy laid with me and I fell right asleep. Callie stayed up later and then she joined me.
11/25/2008	Daddy took us to school this morning because Mommy had a dentist appointment. I had my feast today - first we made the soup in the morning AND we made butter! Then it cooked and this afternoon we got together with the other kindergarten classes (they made the bread and soup too) and we all ate. I decided to try just the broth but it was yucky. My friend Ella told me it tasted like mustard! We had turkey cookies too so it was a fun day. Callie got to make turkey cookies out of oreos and candy corn so she thought that was great AND Mommy came to eat with her today. After school Mommy picked us up and then it was our turn for the dentist. We both had good reports - no cavitities! We came home to see Mommy had set the tree up and had it lit so after Callie's ballet class, we decorated it!! Callie told Daddy he was supposed to help because it is a family activity but Mommy laughed and said Christmas is not Daddy's thing so Good Luck with that!
11/24/2008	Back to school today - but only for two days so we were pretty excited about that. I had to take carrots because the kindergartners are having a "feast" tomorrow and are making vegetable soup and bread. I have been VERY concerned about this soup because I do NOT want to have to try it and I keep asking Mommy about this. She can tell I am very stressed about the whole thing and she told me she used to be the same way so that made me feel better. I wore my patch extra long today so Mommy let me stay up 20 minutes later as a treat - I thought that was pretty cool!
11/23/2008	Happy Birthday Grandpa Ivey! Callie and I both slept in a bit even though we went to bed early so we were well rested. We helped Mommy make monkey bread and then after breakfast we had fun playing. Mommy started dragging the Christmas decorations out so then we helped with that - but only for an hour or so and then we were quite bored of it. We kept asking her to play games with us and she was getting very frustrated since she said she started decorating because we wanted to do that and then we quit! I guess we didn't know it was going to take SO long - and we didn't even get to the tree. Daddy got us subs for supper since our house was torn apart and then we took our baths and went to bed.
11/22/2008	I woke up at 4:30 and thought it was time to get up and play - Mommy caught me just in time before I woke up Avery! We all woke up for real around 6:45 so then Mommy made us breakfast. We played until 11 when their Mommy picked them up. Mommy tried to get us to lay down and rest but we had no interest in that, even though Callie kept crying about everything! We watched ELF with Daddy and then ate supper before going to bed around 7.
11/21/2008	Mommy took us to school and then met Dena at the mall for coffee and got lots of Christmas shopping done! We came home from school and couldn't wait to call Lauren and Avery to invite them over for a sleepover but they weren't home. We played for awhile and then made plans to meet Jason, Alyssa, Abby, and Tanner for supper when they called back. They had supper plans too though so we agreed to have them come over at 7:00. We had a lot of fun playing and Avery and I went to bed at 9 and were asleep by 9:30 while Callie and Lauren stayed up until 10 and were asleep by 10:30.
11/20/2008	Callie's eye looked much better so she went to school. Her class went on a field trip to the Pavillion in the afternoon so they ate an early lunch! Instead of the lunch menu food, they had hot dogs, chips, cookies, and juice in their classroom! Mommy didn't drive on this field trip because she hates the cinedome (IMAX type movie)- it gets her dizzy. Callie said it was a good thing Mommy didn't come because it a lot of parts Mommy wouldn't have liked but Callie wants to go to it again -she loved it! Mommy finished cleaning the house today so now we can get our Christmas decorations out soon - we have been begging her to do that! Callie went over to Lauren's house today after school so Mommy and I went inside to check out their new puppies when we dropped her off. They got TWO of them!!! They were sure cute.
11/19/2008	Callie's other eye is crusty now too - she woke up in the middle of the night with both of them stuck shut! Daddy took me to school so Mommy could stay home with Callie and she called to Doctor too. She got drops to take so they got started right away! Mommy picked me up from school today and a boy named Andrew was really sad because he wanted to sit by me on the bus! I told Mommy he ALWAYS wants to sit by me (as I rolled my eyes). We helped Mommy make supper tonight and then we played a card game until bedtime.
11/18/2008	Callie was up a few times in the night and then Mommy overslept this morning and since we were both still sleeping too Mommy decided to not only let Callie stay home but me too, at least for the morning. We slept until 8 (Callie was 8:30) and then I took a bath. We watched tv for awhile and then Mommy made me lunch and took me to school. She talked to my teacher for awhile (she even asked Mommy to sub for her but Mommy doesn't think that would be a good idea) and then came home to tend to Callie. Callie rested quite awhile by reading books and then it was time to pick me up - I refused to ride the bus home without Callie. We played for awhile and then Daddy brought home supper because Mommy had a PTA meeting. I forgot to tell you that Mommy ordered me a new kind of patch and it came in the mail on Saturday so I started wearing them for two hours everyday. It is a sticker/band aid kind so I can't "cheat" and I have been very good about wearing it! I even wore it to Alisha's yesterday!
11/17/2008	My eye was totally better but Callie's was starting to look yucky this morning. She told Mommy her throat was better (but Mommy had her doubts because she sounded awful) so we both went to school. Mommy cleaned and sorted toys in Callie's room today and then it was time for Brownies! Today they had a scrapbook day so I just colored and Mommy was very proud of me for working indepentently. The girls had a great time working on their scrapbooks - Mommy was in awe of all their creativity! We came home and Alisha called asking me over to play so I went there until supper. Callie took a long bath to soak because she was feeling yucky again - and her eye looks horrible so Mommy thinks she will be staying home tomorrow.
11/16/2008	My eye looked a lot better already today - Mommy was surprised. Callie and I had slept in sleeping bags last night in her room - we pretended we were in college! Mommy kept working in our playroom today and got it all finished. Now she wants to clean our bedrooms and go through toys there - she is on a mission I guess! Callie and I had a lot of fun playing school again. Mommy made soup for supper since Callie's throat is still kind of sore and then we took baths and went to bed.
11/15/2008	I woke up this morning with a funny looking eye - Mommy said it looked like I was getting Pink Eye. We mostly just stayed at home and played today. Callie has a sore throat and a bad cold so she wasn't up for doing much either. Mommy decided to redo our playroom again - she just cleaned it but decided that we really have too many toys and not enough room to play with them so she moved things around and decided we needed a big shelf to put everything on. We also sorted through the things and actually let her put some in a pile to sell! She was amazed. In return she went to Hobby Lobby and bought us a big white board that she hung on our wall so of course we spent the rest of the day/evening playing school!
11/14/2008	Mommy subbed again today and Daddy came to my class to help with Parent Stations! He was in charge of the puzzles. Three other dads helped too, along with one mom, and a set of grandparents! We had a painting station, a station where we cut and glued magazine pictures of food to a cornocopia, we made turkey hats, and played with pumpkin play-dough! It was fun and I was very happy to have Daddy there. After school Callie and I had Camille and Ella over - we played soccer with them (they are sisters). Camille and Callie have started playing together a lot at recess and although Ella isn't in my same class, she is in kindergarten so I sometimes play with her too (especially when we have recess with third graders then all four of us play together). After supper we went to the hockey game! It was fun at first but then I got bored and told Mommy we were wasting all my playing time! We had to stay though because it went into overtime but our team lost.
11/13/2008	Daddy came to school to eat lunch with Callie today - he ate with me a week ago so it was Callie's turn this time. Mommy subbed this afternoon so she told us all about the school when we got home - they have their recess on their roof! Tonight was our school's Cici's night so we ate supper there. Mommy helped us shower since Daddy had darts and then Callie read me a story before bed. I have been really interested in reading myself lately so Callie helps me sound out words sometimes!
11/12/2008	Back to school today - of course we were both very tired so Mommy had to pretty much drag us out of bed. We had to wear snowpants and boots so of course we were almost late for school too. And when we got home we were cranky and fighting so all in all it wasn't a great day for Mommy. We did go to bed early again today so maybe tomorrow will be better.
11/11/2008	Mommy called Alisha's mom this morning and she said we did great! Of course we didn't go to bed until 10 and then Alisha woke me up at 6:30! Of course then we wanted to come to my house to play so Mommy reluctantly said yes. She ate lunch with us and we played until about 2 when Mommy dropped her off. Then we worked on Christmas crafts and homemade presents. After supper Mommy took Callie to ballet and Daddy played a quick game with me before bed - I had to go to sleep at 6:30 but I was ready for it. Mommy walked Miley while Callie was at ballet and then they stopped for hot chocolate and coffee on the way home.
11/10/2008	We slept in a little bit today - Callie more than me of course. After we were all ready, we went over to Dena's house to play with Gillian and Adam! Jacob is still too little to play of course. We came home and played school and then Mommy had a craft project for us to do so that kept us busy the rest of the afternoon. Miley started getting antsy after that so Mommy knew she needed excercise so we took her to the dog park. I dressed in my snow pants to keep me warm because it was REALLY cold out but Callie decided to stay home and wait for Daddy. While we were eating supper, Alisha called and invited me over for a sleepover! I decided to give it a try - my very first one ever! I packed up my things and her mom picked me up around 7. Callie played games with Mommy and Daddy and then it was her bedtime.
11/9/2008	Mommy picked up Callie at 8:30 and then she came home and made us rolls. Callie and I had fun playing today both barbies and school! She kept telling me she was too old to play barbies but as soon as Mommy made me a really cool house she decided to play too. We went shopping with Daddy to Sams and later we went to the shoe store. I just can't quite figure out how to tie my shoes yet so Mommy wanted to get me velcro ones so I can change from my boots to shoes by myself. After Mommy subbed in kindergarten she realized even more how teachers really don't have time to help with coats and shoes when they have 26 kids!
11/8/2008	We slept in a little bit but of course not much. Callie was excited because she had TWO birthday parties today. I went with Alisha to a craft day at the community center from 1-5! Mommy couldn't believe they had enough things for us to do that long but the insisted they would. Callie's first party was at 2 - it was for Ian at the taikwondo center so then Mommy and Daddy had the afternoon alone! They picked up Callie at 4 and then she packed her bag and got ready for her next party - Katrina's sleepover. Mommy dropped her off at 5:30 and then at 6 they were all heading to the ice rink so it was Callie's first time ever ice skating. Mommy hated that she was going to miss out on that and she was worried about Callie since she had never even been to this girls house and now she was going to sleep over but Callie was excited. After I got home we all went to IHOP for a pancake supper and then we played Sorry when we came home. Mommy let me sleep on the floor in her room and I was asleep in about 30 seconds I was so tired! Apparently Callie stayed up until 1am watching movies and playing with all the girls - there were quite a few of them!
11/7/2008	We had snow on the ground when we woke up - only about an inch but we were excited anyway to be able to wear our boots and snowpants! As soon as we got home from school, we went back outside to play and we were out there for over an hour before coming in for a snack and hot chocolate. After Daddy came home from work we waited for the Erkonens to come over! They got here just a little bit before our pizza did and they brought Izzy, their dog. She and Miley had a great time together. They played outside while we ate and then Mommy gated the kitchen and they played inside and chewed on bones together. Our parents had fun playing the Wii until we eventually wandered in and took over. They had to leave and we finally got to bed around 10:30 - a late night but a great way to start off our four day weekend!
11/6/2008	Today was my eye appointment right after school. My eye isn't getting any stronger so we have to start doing more patching (at school) or maybe get me a contact that is blurry so there is no way I can "cheat" and look around the patch. Mommy and I are going to decide what route we want to try for three months and then we will look and see if my eye has gotten stronger yet. We met Daddy at school for conferences. Both Callie and I did great! We ate supper there because they have a hot dog fundraiser during conferences and then we picked out our book at the book fair! When we came back outside, it was SNOWING!! Mommy has been playing Christmas music now because it put her in the holiday mood she said.
11/5/2008	I asked who won right when I woke up this morning! After school I went to play at Alisha's house and Callie had Lauren over. When Daddy got home we all went to Sonic to eat supper in the truck and then we came home to take showers and get ready for bed.
11/4/2008	It was Election Day! Callie and I both voted on the computer today - my buddy helped me. Have I told you I have a buddy? She is a fifth grader and comes to my room once a week or so to read me storied but this time she helped me with my voting. I really like her (especially her pink hair). After school Mommy picked us up because we wanted to go with when she voted and then we had haircuts. We ate supper when Daddy got home and then we had our clipboards and maps ready. Callie had to go to ballet but Mommy started her map while she was gone. We colored in the states red or blue as they called them! After awhile when Mommy said Obama was most likely going to win I started to feel bad for McCain and said maybe he could be the vice president. Mommy told me that it doesn't work that way so then I said well remember when Lightning McQueen didn't cross the finish line so that old race car could win one last time - maybe Obama could just let McCain win? Mommy thought that was very nice of me but said NO WAY - ha! I had to go to bed before all the states were colored in of course but Mommy said she would let me know tomorrow who wins for sure!
11/3/2008	I wasn't very happy that it was time to go back to school today but we were all up a little earlier than normal so it was a relaxing morning instead of rushed. Callie had brownies today and they went on a field trip (I went with too!). We went to the Pettigrew Museum and we all had a lot of fun. Daddy grilled again tonight and I was tired out so I went to bed pretty early. Callie told Mommy all about the persuasive writing she has to do at school. She is writing a pretend council about how they need to change the rules to NOT ever allow birthday parties again. Everyone got a crazy rule they had to write about so it sounds pretty funny. Tomorrow is VOTING day and Callie gets to vote in school - I hope I do too!
11/2/2008	I slept until 7:30 and Callie slept until 8 so Mommy was happy - even Miley slept in! I went to Elise's birthday party today - it was the Gymnastics Academy so I was very excited. Mommy and Callie played her new Wii cooking game while I was there and when I came home we played outside since it was SOO nice! Daddy grilled kabobs and then we watched the new Tinkerbell movie after we took our baths.
11/1/2008	Grandma and Grandpa took us out for breakfast this morning and then we went to visit Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace. We met Mommy & Daddy at the dog park so Miley and Maggie could play. After lunch Daddy went shopping with Grandma and Grandpa but we hung out at home with Mommy so we could play. We met Amber and Jace at Red Lobster for supper (Uncle Tom was at work) and then Grandma and Grandpa had to go home. Mommy let us stay up a little later since we get an extra hour of sleep tonight!
10/31/2008	HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Mommy dropped us off at school and then she stayed there to meet Michelle and made treat bags for all 68 third graders. It took a LOT longer than they had anticipated so Mommy was quite rushed when she got home. She dressed in her costume and headed back to school to help with Callie's party. She was in charge of the treat station so she pretended she was a witch making her brew. Daddy came to my party and we decorated pumpkins, made treat bags, played a game, and decorated sugar cookies. He snuck out for awhile and took pictures at Callie's party and when Mommy had passed out the last round of snacks she came to my party for the last 10 minutes or so. Then all of us went to the Courthouse Museum for a scavenger hunt and trick or treating. We met Amber, Jace, Tom, and Grandma and Grandpa Ivey back at our house. We ordered pizza and then trick or treaters started coming to our house! We were very anxious to get dressed and head out. We ran into Callie's friend, Alex, so he tagged along with us too. After awhile I was tired of it all so Mommy and I went home while Callie stayed with Tom and Amber (Daddy was already at home handing out candy). It was a late night but we all had fun!
10/29/2008	We carved pumpkins today! Mommy and Callie scooped them all out after school since it was so nice outside. After supper we carved the faces. I drew what I wanted mine to look like but then I decided I just wanted to carve it myself and Daddy let me!! Callie carved her own too and we both did a great job.
10/28/2008	Happy 35th Birthday Mommy!! We gave her one present this morning and then she took us to school. She had quite a few birthday phone calls and then she met Kim at the dog park so Miley and Izzy could finally meet. They had fun playing and after that Mommy met Daddy for lunch. She picked us up from school and we went home and had cupcakes. Callie had her friend Alex over today and they played the Wii and outside. I played with them for awhile but then I decided to play restaurant with Mommy instead. Daddy came home and we met Charlie and Gloria for supper at Red Rosa. Charlie got us all tickets for Cirque Mechanics Birdhouse Factory! It was a great show - lots of neat acrobats! I was getting tired though so I finally crawled onto Mommy's lap and fell asleep. Gloria had baked Mommy an Amaretto cake for her birthday so they came over and Callie ate a piece before she went to bed too. I think Mommy had a great birthday!
10/27/2008	Mommy subbed this morning so Daddy took us to school. Half way there I realized I hadn't put on my glasses so I became quite upset and wanted to turn around right then. Daddy said we would both be late so he dropped us off and promised to bring them before I was done with morning meeting and sure enough he got there in the middle of it! He was quite late for work though. . . Good News! His car was finished this afternoon so he took his rental pick up back and brought home the Mazda. I had Alisha over after school so we had fun playing. Callie wanted to have Alex over but he was not home so she just played school instead.
10/26/2008	Mommy told us we had to clean as soon as we woke up this morning because our house was very messy! Daddy went to get us donuts and coffee for them while we worked and we got it all done! At 10 AM sharp, Daddy took us to Best Buy so he could pick up his new guitar hero game. He was quite excited and pretty much played it all day. Callie played too but I mostly played by myself. Mommy worked on her scrapbook and she took Miley on a quick walk - it was SUPER windy outside so it was cold and lots of things were blowing around. Our neighbor's mailbox blew right off the post into the middle of the road!
10/25/2008	This morning I was tired and had a big fit about not getting to answer the phone so then I didn't get to go along to shop for Mommy's present. I wasn't very happy about that and Mommy wouldn't even PLAY with me either! After lunch I got to go to Brooke's birthday party - it was at her house so Mommy dropped me off and went shopping. Daddy picked me up and then he mowed so Callie and I played outside. We decided it was great fun to play in the bed of the pick-up so we brought barbies out and played that. When Mommy came home we ate supper and then we put on our Halloween costumes and headed to Brandon for their Spooktacular Trick or Treating at the State Park! It was really neat - we had to follow a path through the woods and use your flashlight to find reflective signs hanging from trees or by the ground. We saw bats, a hand, spiders, ghosts, and pumpkins! Along the way there were also stations handing out candy, coloring books, and even water bottles! Afterwards we had hot chocolate at the picnic shelter and then headed home for bed.
10/24/2008	Mommy subbed again this morning in Renner so she has to leave even earlier which I don't really like but I am getting better about. Daddy had to do our hair and finish making our breakfast but Mommy had packed our lunchboxes before she left. Today was our fly over! A helicopter flew over the schools in Sioux Falls and we all came out to make a formation for Red Ribbon Week. We had to wear red of course which also meant we didn't wear our coats and then we formed the word NO. Mommy's school formed the letters C C for Character Counts and another school did the flag so I guess they had some kids wear blue and white too. IT was cold waiting but the helicopter flew over really low so that was cool. Then it took pictures of us and we were on the news too! After we came home Callie and I played until Daddy got there. They tried to find a babysitter for us so they could go out but didn't have any luck so we just all went out to celebrate Mommy's birthday early at Texas Roadhouse.
10/23/2008	We were excited because tonight was our Hobby Fair! After school we got all of our webkinz in a tub and we already had our poster board ready since we did it this weekend. Mommy made cookies to donate and we were off after a quick supper. We found our names and set up our things on the table and then had to go check out all the other kids' hobbies. Lauren was there with all the pictures she draws, Kathryn was there with her webkinz (In fact quite a few people had webkinz collections) and Alisha's sister was there with her rock collection. Teachers, parents, and students came by and asked us questions and I even asnwered some! Daddy came to take pictures of us and check out all the other hobbies and then he had to go to darts. We packed it all up at 7:45 and headed home for bed.
10/22/2008	Mommy had to sub this morning so she left early. Daddy took us to school in his truck so we thought that was cool. It rained all day so we had to have all inside recesses which I don't like because then I can't see Callie. We beat Mommy home and had our snack and then she took me to Alisha's to play. Daddy came home to change and he took us in his truck to Cici's so we could eat with Tom, Amber, and Jace. After we ate Callie took Jace into the arcade and did a good job babysitting him in there!
10/21/2008	Mommy took us to school and then Daddy to work this morning. We took the bus home and then Mommy said we had to go pick up Daddy from work becuase his rental car was finally ready. We took him to the car place and he got a pick-up! It barely fits in our garage but we were excited to find out it has a back seat so we can ride in it. Good thing too because Mommy subs tomorrow so he has to take us to school! Callie had ballet after supper and I had to take my bath and go to bed. Mommy is subbing for kindergarten tomorrow so I made sure to tell her to be easy on them because we can't always do things the exact same way as the teacher wants us to. I told her that my teacher is very nice and doesn't get upset if it isn't the same because I draw animals in the air instead of on land but she likes my drawings anyway.
10/20/2008	Mommy was going to have to take us to school and Daddy to work but he woke up not feeling well so he decided to stay home. Mommy took Miley on a long walk and stayed quiet so he could sleep all morning. She subbed this afternoon - her first time back for a teacher she already subbed for! We had Brownies so I just walked to the art room by myself and Mommy's co-leader started the meeting without her. She showed up right as we were finishing our snack. We made a Halloween craft today and then played Halloween Bingo! When we got home Daddy was up and found out that he was going to be able to get a rental car since his is going to take a few weeks to get fixed. We waited and waited but they never had one to give him so I guess he has to wait until tomorrow.
10/19/2008	We went shopping with Daddy (samples from Sam's - yummy!) while Mommy got our house back in order. Daddy grilled tonight and we had fun playing outside, even though it was quite chilly.
10/18/2008	Callie had her last soccer game of the season this morning and it was COLD!! Even though we all dressed in many layers and had gloves we were freezing. Daddy got both blankets out that we keep in the truck to help us stay warm and Ella's dad went and got me and Ella and her little brother hot cocoa too! Afterwards we all went to Pizza Ranch for her party. I was sad because all the players wanted to sit at their own table and Ella and I couldn't sit with them. We came home so I could get ready for my game and thankfully it warmed up so it was much more pleasant. After my game, Mommy had a party she and Dena went too and we were stuck at home without a vehicle. We ate supper, watched a movie, and then it was time for bed.
10/17/2008	Callie woke up early of course to check on her tooth box. She had 4 quarters and a pair of earrings in there! She took forever getting dressed though because she wanted to find the perfect outfit to wear that matched her new earrings so we were running late today! Daddy called on the way to school again so we chatted with him and then Mommy had all day to get things done around the house before he got home. We were invited over to Lauren and Avery's house after school so Mommy took us over there and then picked us up around 5:30 so we could eat supper. Daddy called about 7 and said he would be at his office in 30 minutes. We were SOO Excited and went to pick him up. He brought lots of pens, notepads, and silly things from his conference and we just were so excited that Mommy was thinking they have wasted lots of money on "real" gifts! We stayed up later than normal so we could talk and play with Daddy but finally we had to go to bed.
10/16/2008	Daddy called us on the way to school so we were very excited to talk to him! Mommy had to sub this afternoon for a librarian so she had fun reading stories to kids and she was at the school Mrs. Davids transferred to she even talked to her! We played for awhile after school and then it was time to grab supper at Sonic and head to our roller skating party. I had a hard time deciding because I also had my soccer pizza party at the same time but then Alisha was roller skating too so that helped. I was quite tired by 7:30 so we finished up and had our snack in the car. I couldn't even undress I was so tired so I went right to bed. OH before we went roller skating Callie lost her tooth!! It had been loose for awhile but then she bumped it with her knee. She was excited to go to bed too so she could put her tooth in her box and find out what the tooth fairy was going to bring her!
10/15/2008	Daddy took us to school this morning since he is going out of town today and we won't see him until Friday night (if he gets here before bedtime anyway). I was quite sad about the whole thing. I brought snacks today so that was fun and I even got to pick which snack we had the jello jigglers for so I picked the morning snack. Mommy helped in Callie's class today with math homework. I went over to Alisha's house after school and then Callie and I played outside once I came home until it was supper time. After we ate, we went back outside until it was time for showers. We were COLD by then so Mommy made us hot cocoa too and then we had to go to bed.
10/14/2008	We had to go back to school today and Aunt Bridget came with to drop us off and say good-bye. Mommy took her to airport at lunchtime - we will sure miss her. As soon as I got home from school I wanted a playdate of course. Mommy let me have Alisha over while Callie worked on her timeline project. We had a quick supper while Daddy mowed and then Mommy and I took Callie to ballet and ran to the grocery store to buy snacks for me to take to school tomorrow. I chose Scooby bones for one snack and Mommy is making pumpkin shaped jello jigglers for the other snack.
10/13/2008	We were still up at 7 ready to play this morning but we were very nice and went down to the playroom so Mommy, Daddy, and Bridget could sleep in a bit. After they woke up and got ready, Mommy went to pick up Miley from Top Dog while Daddy & Grandpa went to Sam's Club. We were getting ready for lunch when the phone rang and Grandpa told us that they were in a car accident! Thankfully they were ok but Daddy's car was kind of smooshed - but they could drive it home. The back end looks really bad though! We went roller skating after that - well Bridget and Mommy went and the rest watched. Grandma & Grandpa hadn't ever seen us skate so they had fun! We said our goodbyes to them afterwards because they headed back to Aberdeen. We rested a bit and then ate supper out, headed back for baths and then I played one last game with Bridget. While Mommy put me to bed, Callie played her last game with Bridget and then she went to sleep too. I think Mommy and Bridget stayed up to play Wii more though - Bridget is addicted to it!
10/12/2008	This morning we got all ready and after Grandma and Grandpa came over we made sandwiches and packed up Grandpa's truck with our things. We headed to NE around 11 but first we dropped off Miley at Top Dog. We went to Charlene's house and her grandkids, Morgan and Charlie were visiting so we got to play with them! It is Great Grandma's birthday Tuesday so she came over and we all had birthday cake together. We played some more and then ordered pizza for supper. After we ate it was time to head home. I fell asleep on the way home so Mommy just carried me in and Callie had to go right to bed too. Grandma and Grandpa took Bridget out for drinks so Mommy went to bed too. Daddy stayed up to watch a movie with Bridget when she got home though.
10/11/2008	Grandma and Grandpa headed over to our house so we could play with them. Bridget went out for lunch with friends and then she came back in time for our soccer games. We all went together - mine was first. Grandma & Grandpa had never been to a soccer game so they really enjoyed it! Daddy had to take Callie to her game early and then the rest of us went as soon as my game was over. It started raining during Callie's game but it ended quickly so that was good. Afterwards we all headed back to our house. Callie and Grandpa raced on the Wii for awhile and I played school. We ate supper at home and then it was time for bed. Callie and I decided to have a sleepover in my room so we both slept in our sleeping bags. After we were in bed, the grown ups played Wii for a long time - even Grandma and Grandpa! Mommy and Aunt Bridget boxed so they were very sore after that.
10/10/2008	Mommy took us to school again this morning but we let Bridget sleep this time. They went out for coffee this time and shopped. After we came home from school Mommy said Grandma & Grandpa Robinson were in town and at their motel waiting for us. We got our swimsuits ready, had a snack, and headed over to swim. Daddy met us there and then we headed over to Granite City for supper after we got dressed. Uncle Tom was working and he even let me and Callie pick out desserts for free!! We headed home after that to go to bed. Aunt Bridget went out with friends and Grandma & Grandpa stayed at the motel.
10/9/2008	We woke up Aunt Bridget so she could come with us to drop us off at school. She and Mommy just hung out at home I guess - they were too tired to do much. After school we played together and then it was time for me to go to Avery's birthday party! She is Lauren's sister but I have become friends with her. We had a candy hunt outside, decorated pumpkins, and ate pizza together. It was fun! Daddy came home to eat supper and then he picked me up before he went to darts. Mommy put us to bed and then she and Bridget enjoyed tv together.
10/8/2008	Today was my field trip! Mommy came to my room right after lunch recess and then it was time to go. Brooke and Amelia also came with us and it was a long drive! First we played on haystacks, then we took a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch and picked out our pumpkins, and then we went through a corn maze. After that we used a slingshot type thing to throw gourds at a big trough and then we took the tractor wagon back to the top of the hill where we had a snack. It was a fun trip and then Mommy took us back to school. It was about time to go so we got our things ready and then waited for Callie to get out. After we got home we found out Aunt Bridget's plane was late so she wasn't going to get in until late. Mommy put us to bed and then later she went to pick up Bridget.
10/7/2008	Mommy cleaned all day today and she was still cleaning when we got home from school. LUCKY for me, Alisha asked me over so Mommy dropped me off. I came home at supper time and then Callie got ready for ballet. It was bring a friend to dance week so she brought Lauren. I stayed home with Dad, Jace, and Uncle Tom who had come over to visit. I had a hard time going to sleep tonight -Mommy isn't sure if I am excited/nervous abut my field trip and the fact that Aunt Bridget comes tomorrow or what but it was an hour later than I normally go to bed. I think she is worried about how I will behave tomorrow now.
10/6/2008	Mommy took us to school today and we were happy to go back. My good-byes are short and sweet now and most of the time Callie just jumps out of the truck without even kissing Mommy good-bye! Mommy brought all the museum things to the Brownies meeting today - she actually had to get to school pretty early so she had time to carry everything inside so I saw her in the hallway on my way to music class! She had pioneer items such as a washboard, ringer, iron, rug beater, old school readers, and a slate board. She also had pioneer clothes we could try on. Almost everyone had remembered to ask their grandparents or great-grandparents questions about thier childhood so we learned lots of neat things! After Brownies we came home and had only a little time to eat a quick supper and Callie had to change to get ready for soccer. We met Daddy there (and we were almost late because the 5:00 traffic was awful)and then Mommy had to leave to take Miley to class. She had wanted to take her to the dog park first but since the traffic was bad and it started pouring on her way of the soccer fields so she skipped that idea and headed to class early. Callie still had to play in the downpour so Daddy and I watched from the car because we were soaked and cold. Callie was especially cold when the game was over so she took a hot shower and had hot cocoa when she got home. Mommy said Miley did AWFUl in class so apparently the dog park run really helps and it was obvious she didn't get there today.
10/5/2008	Callie and I had fun playing today and then in the late afternoon we went to the pavilion. Callie's school friends (some 4th graders) had their art displayed there and we wanted to check out the new tornado exhibit. It turned out we were too scared to go in the room after all so we just watched Daddy do it (it blows all around you!). We went out for supper and then came home for baths and bed.
10/4/2008	Callie and I both had soccer games this morning. She had hers first, at 9, so we watched half of it and then we had to head to mine (Daddy stayed behind with Callie). They were able to get to mine by 1/2 time and then afterwards we had to drop Daddy's car off at the tire store for his new tires. We ate lunch at home and then it was time to take Callie to Alex's birthday party at the bowling alley. Mommy and I went shopping while she was there and then picked her up at 3. We picked up Daddy next (he was mowing) so we could go to the courthouse to pick up lots of musuem items Mommy had checked out for Brownies and then we picked up Daddy's car. We decided to eat at home and have a lazy evening before bed.
10/3/2008	Callie and I both ate hot lunch today! I have only eaten hot lunch a few times so Mommy was surprised. She picked us up from school today so we could go shopping. Callie had to pick a birthday present out for Alex becuase tomorrow is his party! She also took us to Barnes and Noble for a snack - yummy. We just got home when Charlie and Gloria stopped by to surprise us. They visited awhile and then they went to the football game but we met them afterwards for supper.
10/2/2008	Mommy subbed again this morning - third graders but at a different school! It was really nice out this afternoon so Callie and I played house and ball and lots of other things all afternoon and even a little bit after supper too! I am really working on sounding out words now and I get mad if Mommy tells me too soon what the word is. I wrote Mommy a note this morning telling her to leave my blankie where it was and Mommy was very impressed with writing too! Daddy helped me spell blankie but I tried to sound a lot of the other words out. Daddy had darts tonight so Mommy put us to bed.
10/1/2008	Mommy threw sweats on to take us to school this morning and I saw her and said "you are not going to wear THAT to Callie's class are you?" Mommy found that pretty funny - apparently I have high fashion standards. Thankfully she went home and showered and changed before helping. It was her first day and she gave the kids spelling tests. She had to call them out in groups of four AND since Callie passed this test too she got moved to fourth grade words! After spelling Miss Foley asked if she could stay longer and help edit the students' friendly letters they are writing. So Mommy called each third grader out one by one and helped them - she said it was fun! After school I had Brooke over to play while Callie and Mommy hung outside with Miley - she is starting to get the hang of fetch (although only if she is in the right mood).
9/30/2008	I was so tired that I was still sleeping at 7 this morning (usually I wake up on my own around 6:30 or 6:45) so Mommy had to wake me. She had to work so she only had time to get my breakfast and Daddy did the rest. After school Callie and I played and helped Mommy set out the Halloween decorations! Callie had ballet so after supper Mommy took her there while Daddy helped me shower and get ready for bed. I was fast asleep by the time Mommy got home. Callie had to study her spelling and for her big science test coming up on Thursday!
9/29/2008	Callie and I were tired out when we woke up this morning but we still went to school without complaining. I had a soccer game at 5:30 so we ate supper early and then Daddy met us there so Mommy could take Miley to class. I was super tired and throwing a fit by the time we got home from my game so I went right to bed at 6:45!
9/28/2008	I fogot to tell you that the motel was really full so there were no rooms left with two beds - not even a couch bed! But we really wanted to go so we chose to bring sleeping bags and slept on the floor. About 5am I woke up and started yelling for Mommy and wondered where she was - Mommy reached down to say she was right there and I wasn't on my bag!! I had rolled UNDER the bed! I was so scared and then rolled more so then I was in the middle and it was just horrible. We were all awake by the time they got me out of course so it took awhile to get back to sleep and even then we were up by 7:30! We ate our donuts and watched some TV while Mommy packed up and then we went to the water park! Even though you have to check out at 11, you can stay at the water park all day! We ate lunch there and went down more waterslides and rode the lazy river and sat in the hot tub - which even went outside! It was fun. We left around 2 and picked up Miley on the way home. It was time for supper, baths and bed for us then.
9/27/2008	We were super excited this morning because we went to Omaha! We dropped of Miley on our way and then got to McDonalds near the zoo around 11! We ate and then went to the zoo. Of course after only a couple of hours we were ready to go to the motel to swim. We stayed until 4 though and then went to check in. IT was great - Mommy let us stay at a really neat water park with slides that go outside of the motel and it has a lazy river and kids area too. It even has a regular pool in a totally different area! We walked around and took it all in and then went out for supper. Afterwards we chose to swim in the regular pool since we didn't have much time before bed. Our motel doesn't have a breakfast room since it has a restaurant in it so Daddy found a Krispy Kreme and he went and got us donuts while we were falling asleep.
9/26/2008	Mommy took us to school this morning (I am SOO much better about going now so it is enjoyable for Mommy). I had Alisha over after school and Callie played with us for awhile. We had to eat supper before Daddy even got home because Callie had a soccer game and needed to be there at 5:30! We dropped Alisha off before we went and then I played with Ella during the game (her sister Camille plays soccer with Callie so she is always at the games too). Daddy mowed when he got home so we brought him ice cream on our way home from the game.
9/25/2008	Daddy took us to school this morning since Mommy had company (Anna stayed over) and she wanted to walk Miley before she woke up. They spent the whole day shopping!! After we came home from school I went to Brooke's house and then after Anna left, Callie and Mommy played the Wii. Daddy had his first night of Darts tonight!
9/24/2008	Today the police officer with the talking car came to our school. Our class went outside to look at the car - it was the same one that visited us in preschool. And yesterday Callie had a smokehouse that came and all the third graders went in it and had to practice calling 911 and feeling doors for heat while there was smoke all over! And did I tell you a boy in the other kindergartner class pulled the fire alarm on Monday? So we have had an exciting week!! Mommy was excited because her friend, Anna, came over after supper and then they went out together.
9/23/2008	Mommy told us she would pick us up today so we could go shop for Callie's new ballet shoes so I was very excited about that. She met us on the playground and then we went shopping. Callie's new shoes are very strange - they only cover the toes and the heel is left out/bare! We came home to play for a short time and then we met Daddy at school for the Pizza Picnic. I was excited to see my friends, Alisha and Alexis. I also saw my teacher and her twin baby girls! Callie saw her teacher and a few of her friends too. We played on the playground after we ate until it was time for Callie's ballet class. Daddy took her while Mommy took me home and helped me take a bath.
9/22/2008	Mommy decided I must have been afraid of the tooth fairy coming (even though I didn't admit it) because when she came to check on me before her bedtime I had my blanket wrapped all around my head! And I woke up in the middle of the night from a bad dream and took forever to fall back to sleep. I was excited to find 8 quarters in my tooth box when I woke up though - and I had only asked for 5 (Mommy isn't sure what made me think I could "ask" for what I wanted - ha!). Mommy had a room parent meeting today near the end of the school day so I told my teacher I had to go find her in the library when the bell rang and I did. Then I went home with Ella (Camille, her big sister, is in Brownies with Callie). The brownies went on a field trip to the cemetary! They had a lot of fun looking at all the different names from the past and all the shapes of tombstones too! After the meeting Mommy took Camille home and picked me up then we went home for supper. Mommy started making mac-n-cheese and Daddy took over when he got home so she could take Miley to the dog park before obedience class. The instructor asked her to try wearing Miley out MORE before coming (apparently a 3 mile walk isn't enough!) and that seemed to help - she heeled much better but she still barked a lot.
9/21/2008	I slept in only a little bit but Callie slept in until after 8. Mommy took Miley on a walk while we watched tv and then Charlie called and invited us boating! We packed up our things and headed to his house again. We decided to pull the boat for them so we could all ride in our truck and off we went (with a stop at Subway first for lunch). As soon as Charlie started driving fast, Callie and I were giggling and just thought it was GREAT! Callie decided to tube first and she even went alone! She hit some big waves and then she was ready to quit so Mommy and I went. I loved it too! I told Mommy that I couldn't even laugh because the water kept going in my mouth. Callie went again after that but with Mommy that time and then Charlie and Gloria went wakeboarding. Mommy was going to try that too but it was getting late so we needed to get home. However while Charlie was wakeboarding I LOST MY TOOTH!! I kind of freaked out about it at first but then I was happy. We dropped Charlie and Gloria and their boat off and then headed home for baths and supper and a very early bedtime. Of course first I had to write a note to the toothfairy and left my tooth in my toothbox.
9/20/2008	Callie and I both had soccer games today and it was really nice out. It was also both our turns to bring snacks so we walked Miley to the grocery store this morning and picked out juice boxes and snacks (Mommy and Miley stayed outside while Daddy took us in). Callie had her game first and she had pictures so we had to be there at 9:45. She played one quarter as a forward and one quarter as defense and her team did really well! We came home for lunch and a short break and then my game was at 2. I played really well too and after it was over Charlie called and invited us to his house. We packed up jeans and lawn chairs and headed out there to fish. He and Gloria gave us a tour of their house first (we really liked the secret room in the attic) and then we went to the river. I had a fish on my line so I was very excited but I lost it and after that I decided fishing was boring. We went back to his house to eat supper (they made spaghetti!) and then they started a bon fire so we roasted marshmallows. I fell asleep on Mommy's lap and Callie was getting really tired so we left after a really fun evening.
9/19/2008	Mommy dropped us off for school today and the last few days Miley has been whining as we walk away from the truck - she thought tha was funny. Mommy came to eat lunch with Callie today - we ate outside again (we ate outside when she ate with me too!). After school we had play dates! I had Brooke over and Callie had her new friend, Tiara, over. Mommy made tacos for supper and then we played outside all evening while Daddy mowed. We even kept playing while it was dark and he was finished becasue we were having so much fun.
9/18/2008	Mommy was all ready for tonight to be very difficult with both of us having soccer and Daddy having darts but it turned out that Callie didn't have soccer and Daddy's darts were postponed so everyone came to my game. Callie has been learning cursive at school and I have been learning how to print my letters correctly.
9/17/2008	Mommy subbed this afternoon so she was able to drop us off at school this morning. She had nice notes and cool cookies set out for us when we got home and then she was home very soon after us. Mommy said it is hard to have two kids after school both wanting to tell her about our day. She tries to get us to take turns but we keep trying to talk over the other person so she gets frustrated but she is very glad we both like to tell her things! We didn't have any activities so we just played all afternoon and then Uncle Tom and Jace wanted to eat supper with us so we met them and Daddy. When we got home we had to lay out our clothes because tomorrow is picture day!
9/16/2008	Mommy had to sub this morning so Daddy took us to school. We listen to stories on his Zune on the way to school so we really like that. After school Mommy let me have Alisha over so we had fun playing while Mommy and Callie made a snack/dessert -but it didn't turn out too good. Alisha ate supper with us because her Mommy was at her older sister's tennis game and we had to eat early since Callie had ballet. I had to shower tonight - Mommy helped - and then Daddy put me to bed since she had to pick up Callie from ballet. I am getting so much better about letting Daddy do things for me.
9/15/2008	I am doing really good about going to school so Mommy is really happy about that. I was worried that Callie wouldn't sit by me on the bus (on the way home) though so I made Mommy write her a note in her lunchbox asking her to remember to sit by me! I wanted a playdate after school but Mommy wanted us to just rest instead so I wasn't very happy. She let us go to the park - we rode our bikes while she walked Miley and then we played. When we came home Daddy was getting there and so was Charlie and Gloria. They came to pick up our old guest bed but they stayed to visit. Mommy and Miley had to leave for their class so Daddy put me to bed - I even went to sleep while we had company and Mommy was gone - she was quite impressed. She put Callie to bed when she got home and then she was able to visit some more before they went home.
9/13/2008	Callie and I were both supposed to have soccer games this morning but it was raining so they were both cancelled. We went shopping this morning instead and then came home for lunch and a movie. Mommy and Callie took Miley for a walk after that. OH and I forgot to tell you that Callie got a new comforter set for her bedroom! Hers was still Hello Kitty from when she first moved out of her crib so it was really old and then Haley got blood all over it the other day from her ear (she has a scratch that keeps opening up) so Mommy decided it was time. Her new one is pink and black - she really doesn't like pink much but Mommy said she really didn't want to paint yet so they compromised. AND it is hot pink, not pastel because she really doesn't like pastels very much at all. We were invited over to Jason and Alyssa's house for supper so we went there at 5. We played with Tanner and Abby, ate, played some more and watched a movie and then I fell asleep on Mommy's lap! Mommy carried me to bed when we got home and Callie had a quick snack before she went to sleep too.
9/12/2008	Mommy worked again this morning so I was sad that she couldn't take us to school - I really have a hard time adjusting to new things. We had a really neat assembly today with a family of 10 that all unicycle and juggle - it was really fun to watch them. After school, Brooke called me to come over so Mommy dropped me off and then she and Callie played a game. After supper, it was time for the Brownies night at the Go Cart Track! It was for all the girls and their dads but Mommy came along to take pictures of them all. They were planning on giving everyone two tickets to either ride the go carts twice (you only needed one ticket for the go carts since the dads and daughters shared one) or to golf BUT these really nice people came by and gave Mommy all their left over tickets as they were leaving so the girls all got three tickets a piece instead and most of them were free! The girls all raced first and the dads sure liked that. Then they all played mini golf - I played with them too. Most of the girls went home then but one had come late so a couple dads just bought their own tickets to race again - of course our Dad was one of them!! Mommy and I joined in on this race and it was super fun. We didn't get home until 9pm so it was time for a quick snack and bed.
9/11/2008	Tonight was CiCi's night for our school so we met Daddy there for supper - Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace came too! Callie and Daddy went to her soccer practice while we stayed and finished visiting then we went to watch Callie too. One of her friends and teammates has a sister that is my age and also on my soccer team so I was anxious to play with her! After awhile Mommy said we had to go home so I could get to bed. I stated getting upset that Mommy has to work tomorrow and I told her I liked it better when she is at home while I am at school.
9/10/2008	Mommy had a job today teaching 4th graders in Gillian's school! She had to leave early of course so Daddy finished getting us ready and took us to school. She finished at lunch time and came to make copies at school, only to find out we were in the dark! The power went off today for over an hour. We had windows (although it was dreary out today) but the teacher had to use a flashlight to take kids to the bathroom. I had fun playing with Brooke again outside at recess and inside during free time. Mommy was waiting for us outsdie when the bus dropped us off and we told her all about our day and she told us about hers. We had a quiet afternoon of playing and after supper we took showers and just had quiet reading time. We both had to go to bed early tonight. OH and Mommy found out yesterday that our principal is leaving our school at the end of the year. We all really like her so Mommy especially is quite disappointed. In the last week alone she and Mommy have exchanged 10 or more emails and Mommy figures not many principals are that involved or that easy to talk to!
9/9/2008	Mommy's sub job was cancelled today so I was glad because then she could take us to school. I have been asking her to meet me for lunch so today she finally did. We ate outside which was fun but then as soon as it was time to start playing I started crying because I didn't want Mommy to go. She ended up staying the whole recess because I was sobbing - all my friends kept coming up to ask me what was wrong. The ball rang and I ran to get in line she she could go. My teacher gave me a hug and then told Mommy I was fine the rest of the day. After school I really wanted my new friend, Brooke, over. She had written her phone number down on some paper and gave it to me so Mommy called her Mommy and arranged a playdate! She came over to our house and played until 4:30 - we had a lot of fun. After supper Daddy took Callie to ballet and I had to come with because Mommy had a PTA meeting.
9/8/2008	We were both ready to go back to school today so Mommy had an easy time dropping us off. Callie had Brownies after school so Mommy picked me up in my room and we walked to the Art room together. Today they had their rededication ceremony and they used flowers - I even got one! We ate a quick supper and then Callie and I went with Daddy to get his and Mommy's new phone while Miley and Mommy went to their first obedience class.
9/7/2008	Callie and I woke up in a really good mood and played and played. Daddy wanted to take us to the Star Wars movie today and we talking Mommy into going too. Daddy mowed when we got home while Callie and I played outside. Mommy had more PTA things to work on. After we ate it was time for baths and get all of our things ready for school tomorrow. I like to pick out my clothes all by myself and surprise Mommy - of course this time I had a tank top and shorts so Mommy had to explain that tomorrow is going to be very cold so I had to rechoose. Luckily I was quite ok with it! I told Mommy she couldn't tell anyone and then I showed her my LOOSE TOOTH!! It is on the bottom and is quite wiggly. Mommy can't believe she never noticed it before. She convinced me to show Daddy (I was afraid he was going to try and pull it because he always teases Callie about that) so I did and then I got my tooth box all ready for when it falls out.
9/6/2008	I had soccer at 11 so we played until it was time to go. It was really nice out so Mommy enjoyed watching. AND I finally figured it out - I was really trying hard to steal the ball and I kicked towards the goal quite a few times. Callie hung out with Alisha's older sister while I played so they had fun too. We went to the Sidewalk Arts Festival afterwards for lunch but all the lines were super long. Callie and Dad found Japanese food in a short line but Mommy & I couldn't find anything so we got donuts for our lunch! We watched a bicycle stunt show and then Daddy took us to the craft area while Mommy shopped. She found a necklace and swimsuits for our American Girls! We made soy candles, homemade cards, and purses out of shopping bags and duct tape. Then it was time to come home and get ready for Callie's game but then it started pouring! Mommy wasn't sure if it would be cancelled or not - she called the coach and he didn't know either. The rain finally stopped so Daddy took Callie by the fields just in case and sure enough they were playing so she joined in. It started raining again but they kept going. Mommy and I got there to see the fourth quarter but it was sure cold! After supper we watched 101 Dalmations and then went to bed.
9/5/2008	I was excited today because Mommy and Daddy were invited to my classroom at the end of the day since I was K Kid. Mommy dropped us off and again I had no problems - this time it was Callie that started crying because we had forgetten her library books. Mommy told her she would bring them later when she had to work at the school so then she was ok. At 2:20 Mommy and Daddy came - my class was all sitting on a circle and I was up front with my teacher. I showed them where to sit (I sat in the middle of them then) and we played a game. My teacher asked them questions about me (favorite food, color, game, song, etc) and the class told them if they were right or not (they had reviewed the answers beforehand). At first Mommy and Daddy were losing but then they started some getting some right!! I passed out licorice to everyone afterwards and then it was time to go. Daddy went back to work while Mommy & I found Callie and we went home.
9/4/2008	For the first time ever I was pretty excited to go to school today. I just hopped out of the truck and said good-bye to Mommy with a quick wave and Callie and I were off! Daddy met me for lunch (maybe this is why I was excited?)and all the kids saw me holding his hand and so they wanted to hold his hand to. One boy was holding his thumb and a different girl wanted to hold another finger - it was funny! Daddy said goodbye to me at the recess door and then watched as I ran off to find Alisha and gave her a hug and then we held hands and walked off together. Callie is doing a science experiment with salt and apples - she really likes science. We had our first lock down drill today and it was while I was in gym so we had to go in the storage closet to hide. Our teacher was so proud of how quiet we were that he gave us all sports cards so I was quite excited about that. I had Alisha over to play and Callie joined us for awhile but then she wanted to be by herself. After supper she had a soccer game but Daddy and I stayed home since it would have been too late for me. Callie did great though and her team won 7-3!
9/3/2008	Mommy had her first job today so she was up early getting ready and then she helped us get a ready a little bit but then she had to go. Daddy finished our lunchboxes and then he took us to school again. She taught first graders in a different school - but only until lunch time and then she came home. Callie and I played after school and then I told Mommy I didn't like today because since we had gym we missed morning recess and then I don't get to see Callie. I also told her Music is my favorite special class because Callie's class is in there when we get there and I see her as she is leaving! In fact I told Mommy that "today when we were in line at the music door I saw Callie's teacher waiting and I got happy thinking because I knew Callie was inside and I was going to get to see her"
9/2/2008	It was back to school today! I did pretty good Mommy thought. Daddy took us to school today and I wasn't very happy about that but I was ok by the time he dropped me off. I am K Kid this week so today I took baby pictures and my baby outfit and I took a book that my teacher read to the class. After school I had Alisha over and Callie and Mommy played games. Tonight Callie had ballet so Daddy and I hung out at home.
9/1/2008	Today we slept in a bit and then played until after lunch. We met Charlie and Gloria at their kiteboarding lake again and they were just finishing up. We headed over to the trap range and Daddy and Charlie went through the course. Callie and I took turns pushing the buttons and Gloria even shot a few times. Mommy even tried one hole! Afterwards we picked up supper and headed to our house to eat. I picked out my favorite book to read to take with to school tomorrow because my teacher is going to read it to the class - I am K Kid of the week! Mommy picked out some pictures of me and I am also taking a baby outfit I wore when I came home from the hospital. I brought home Robert the bear too on Friday so I have been taking care of him.
8/31/2008	We went out for breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey this morning. Of course I cried and told Mommy she HAD to come with because I don't see her very much anymore so finally she and Daddy agreed to come. After lunch we were getting ready to go boating with Charlie and Gloria but found out it was way too windy to take his small boat out. Instead we agreed to go watch them kiteboard but in the meantime Alisha invited me over to play so I went there instead. Callie and Mommy waded in the lake while they watched but it wasn't a real lake, more of a slew in the middle of nowhere so it wasn't too appealing to swim in. Miley however LOVED it! She swam right towards Mommy and all around - their dog joined in too. She came to our house the other night so Miley has met her but she is older and isn't very fond of puppy behavior so Miley learned to be respectful! They picked me up at supper time so we could have leftovers and watch some tv before bedtime.
8/30/2008	Alisha called me over for a playdate so Mommy dropped me off and then she went mattress shopping with Daddy and Callie again - this time they finally bought one! Then they met Grandma and Grandpa Ivey for lunch and afterwards picked me up so I could hang out with them at home. Even Jace came over to be babysat. We had a waterballoon fight and played in the sandbox for awhile. Uncle Tom got off work before supper so then the guys bought food at the meat market so we grilled for supper. Miley and Maggie had a fun time playing in the backyard!
8/29/2008	Mommy was not feeling well this morning (hmmm I think her bad day yesterday caused her to have one too many adult beverages). Daddy told us to play nicely and let her sleep and then he had to go to work - we had the day off school! Callie made us breakfast and she made Mommy some toast too. We had lots of fun playing - Mommy knew there was always a downside to not supervising playtime because we sort of turned the house into a tornado zone she said! But we had a great time and didn't fight or anything. Daddy came home for lunch and then we were invited to Lauren's house. Her sister Avery really likes to play with me so Mommy took us both over there and she had the afternoon to rest some more - how lucky is she! We came home around 5 and then Mommy made us supper because Daddy went out with friends after work. I went to bed early and then Mommy and Callie played a game before her bedtime.
8/28/2008	Mommy stayed inside today when the bus dropped us off so we came in and Mommy was vacuuming when I thought she should have been quietly waiting for us so I threw a huge tantrum. Mommy didn't do the adult thing and stay calm - so all in all it wasn't pretty. Daddy came home and Callie and I had an early supper because Charlie and Gloria were coming over. Callie and I played while they visited and then Daddy and Charlie took Callie to soccer practice and got everyone supper to bring home. After they ate they had to go back and pick up Callie and we played more while the grown ups visited (and had drinks). I climbed on Mommy's lap and told her I was going to sleep on her shoulder and I fell asleep right away so she carried me up to bed and then Callie said she was ready too.
8/27/2008	I cried a lot again this morning because I didn't want to go to school. Mommy knows I am fine once she leaves but it is still a tough start of the day for her. I think she is getting ready to want to work because although she has stuff to do at home she doesn't have anyone to talk to and so it gets long. Her highlight today was talking to three retired men at the dogpark - how sad is that?! I begged to go to Alisha's afterschool so Mommy let me and then she and Callie went to visit Dena and the kids. We all came home for supper and then Callie had ballet while I took a shower and went to bed.
8/26/2008	I didn't cry this morning but I really wanted to. Mommy could tell I was trying my hardest not to so it just made her even sadder. Callie saw her at school because she had a lot of work to do there but I didn't ever see her (hmm maybe because she made sure to stay out of sight knowing I would cry if I did see her?). After school we didn't have much time to play because Daddy came home at 4 so we could go to our open house. We went to Callie's room first to hear her teacher talk about everything they are doing for a blended classroom. Then we went to my room and we had a scavenger hunt. I showed them where we hang coats, do our calender, draw pictures, play house, and go outside. After open house we went and ate subs and then it was time for Callie's soccer game. Daddy dropped me and Mommy home first so I could get to bed early and then he took Callie. She did good- tried to steal the ball a few times and had a good kick. She didn't get home until 8:45 so it was late for her tonight!
8/25/2008	I didn't cry when Mommy took me to school today - she was quite proud. And I was the Kid of the Day! That means that everyone has to write my name on a piece of paper and the teacher stapled them all together and sent them home. I also told them my favorite food (which I surprised Mommy and told her it was corndogs - she thought it was still mac-n-cheese) and my favorite color (still pink). We had stations in gym today. Mommy picked me up in my room today because it was Brownies so she walked me down to the art room where the girls were meeting. We talked about what a Girl Scout is again and welcomed a new girl into our troop. Then the girls split into two groups and did perler beads at one table and started a scrapbook at another table. Mommy made supper and then Daddy and I played Wii while Callie and Mommy went shopping for soccer shoes.
8/24/2008	Callie and I played this morning and then after lunch Daddy loaded our bikes and we went to the bike path for a long bike ride. He put my training wheels back on for that of course. We went mattress shopping again after that and then we came home so Daddy could mow. He grilled supper after that and then we took our baths and went to bed early since we go back to school again tomorrow.
8/23/2008	This morning was the memorial for Daddy's Aunt Sue. Lots of people came to say good-bye to her and then we all ate lunch together. We visited Grandma and Grandpa Robinson and went out for supper at a new restaurant with them and then went back to pack up and head home. A small town on the way home had been evacuated because of a big fire at the grain elevator so we weren't sure we could drive through but we were able to. I forgot to tell you that we witnessed a police chase on the way to Aberdeen last night, with spikes out and guns drawn and everything so I guess we just had lots of excitement on this trip! Callie and I both fell asleep on the way home and of course Miley was exhausted too from all her playing so Mommy is hoping we all sleep in.
8/22/2008	I had a hard time getting ready for school this morning and Mommy tried to make me excited since it was Friday but that didn't help too much. I did however want to hurry up and get there - apparently the whole good-bye thing is stressful and I just want to get it over with. Daddy got off early today so he suprised us and picked us up from school. Callie and I have a meeting place on the playground so we can get on the bus together and he was there waiting for us! We played once we got home, ate supper, and then it was time for Callie's soccer practice! We had packed the car already so we brought Miley with and when it was over we headed to Aberdeen. We fell asleep on the way since it was 8 when we left town and I hardly even woke up when Daddy carried me in. Callie did so she visited with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey for a few minutes and then went to sleep too.
8/21/2008	Mommy took us again this morning and of course I cried again. My teacher told Mommy I don't cry in class so she is glad about that at least. I had gym and really liked it - we played a fun game where our teacher sat on a chair with a TV remote and we were his TV. We had to pretend to play basketball, then he changed the channel to ballet, hockey, and lots more things. We rode the bus home and I was happy about school and wanted Alisha to come play. Mommy figured that might be a good thing so she came over and Callie went to Lauren's house to play. So Mommy's alone time was extended two more hours - I think she is getting bored! We ate supper when Daddy got home and then I had soccer. I was very excited and kept asking if it was time to go yet. Alisha is on my team again and we had a great practice - our team is called the Lifesavers! Callie stayed home with Daddy so she could shower and hang out with him. I was tired when we got home so I didn't even think about crying about school.
8/20/2008	I didn't want to ride the bus this morning because it was late dropping us off yesterday and I didn't like that. Daddy had to go to work early and Mommy had a meeting at 9 so she didn't really want to take us but she did. Of course I cried the whole way there that I didn't want to go to school and that she should just homeschool me. Callie told Mommy I kept crying on the playground until Alisha's big sister came and asked if I was hurt and then I quit and was fine the rest of the day. I told Callie on the bus home that it was a fun day. We had art today and I enjoyed that. Callie had gym and since her class is 1/2 fourth graders she got to see how they have to change to gym clothes before class. Her half of the class can choose since normally third graders aren't required to do so and she told Mommy she is going to wait until next year for that. Her teacher told them they are allowed to bring a snack for themselves to eat after recess if they wish so she took one today. They eat lunch last so it is a long morning otherwise. Callie had her first ballet class today and her teacher asked her to come to a different one to try it out - it is more of a technique class where they perfect the moves and she thought Callie would really like it since she takes ballet quite seriously. However the class does not perform so she would have to take a different ballet class for that and Mommy said there is no way she can pay for both classes and Callie really wants to be in the recital. I wasn't quite as upset tonight at bedtime - I did mention that I didn't want to go to school but I didn't cry so Mommy was happy about that!
8/19/2008	Happy 60th Birthday Grandma Robinson! I was excited to go to school again this morning and this time Callie and I rode the bus there. I sat with Alisha of course! We had music today and I even ate hot lunch (corn dog and mac & cheese). Callie had art class. We rode the bus home again and this time it wasn't quite so late and we were happy to tell Mommy all about school. Callie and I had fun playing, we ate supper and then during my bath I started getting weepy about school. At bedtime I told Mommy I think little kids (then I corrected that and said five year olds - I meant littler than 8) shouldn't go to school because they still miss their moms!
8/18/2008	Today was the first day of school!! I got dressed in my new high school musical outfit as soon as I woke up and Mommy did my hair (I requested a braid). Callie and I ate breakfast and then we headed to school - Daddy met us there too! We walked Callie to her class first and met her teacher, Miss Foley. She is new to our school and seems very very nice! Callie is in a class with half third and half fourth graders. Next Mommy and Daddy took me to my class. I found my coat hook and my table. I also saw I was in charge of turning off the lights today on the job board! My teacher, Mrs. Dreke, had us all go outside with our parents to wait for the bell and then we lined up by the door. She told us to say one last good-bye and then she walked us inside. I think Mommy was trying hard not to cry but I was anxious to check it all out so I had no problems. We rode the bus home - they let all older siblings go find their younger siblings a few minutes before the bell rang so they could walk us to the bus so Callie took me. We sat by Alisha. Mommy was waiting for us and it seemed like FOREVER she said - the bus driver had some problems I guess. She had cookies and slushes ready for us to hear about our day. We both had a great time although by supper I was changing my tune and crying how I didn't want to go back. Mommy put me to bed at 7:30 and hopes I feel better about it in the morning.
8/17/2008	We decided to eat brunch out this morning to celebrate our last day of summer vacation. We came home for awhile to play with Miley and then we headed to the zoo. Mommy thought we might want to swim but we had no interest in that. Daddy hadn't seen all the new changes at the zoo so we were anxious to show him AND the pony rides had started so rode a pony too! Alisha called Mommy's cell around 4 when we coming home and wanted me to come over so Mommy let me go for an hour. Of course when she picked me up I was mad and threw a fit but Mommy knew it was from all the stress about tomorrow. We ate supper, took a long relaxing bath and then I went to bed. I laid out my clothes first and Mommy started packing my lunch too! Callie is eating there tomorrow but she laid out her clothes too before going to bed. We were both excited but fell asleep very quickly.
8/16/2008	Daddy and I practiced on my bike again this morning after he finished mowing. After lunch Mommy took me and Callie to the American Girl movie while Daddy went to his own grown-up movie. We came home and played and Daddy grilled steaks and we ate corn on the cob that we picked (well they ate it, I didn't of course). We played the Wii for awhile and then headed to bed.
8/15/2008	We went to Uncle Chucks this morning to help pick corn - Callie thought that was super fun and she didn't want to quit! We had to though because we were meeting Mommy for lunch in Watertown. We met around 1 and Mommy surprised Grandma with cupcakes so we could celebrate her birthday early. After lunch we loaded our things and all the corn we picked in the car and headed home. We told Mommy about all the fun we had at Grandma's on the way home. I was quite impressed with all the shoes she had - some were still in shoeboxes I told Mommy! She let us try them all on. Oh and I also wanted to know if I could play with Alisha when I got home. It turns out Alisha asked the same thing of her mom when she got home (she was on vacation with her dad until today too) so she called and invited me over after supper. I insisted on eating super fast and then Mommy took me over. Daddy and Callie watched Olympics while Mommy took Miley on a walk. We all had to go to bed early tonight so we can get well rested for school on Monday.
8/14/2008	Callie and I played and helped make breakfast this morning. We talked to Mommy on the phone and then we went to the fair! We had corndogs for lunch and snowcones for a snack. We looked at the animals, I rode one ride and Callie rode two and then it started looking like it was going to storm so we headed home (it turned out there was a small tornado right around there so good thing we left!). We played more and Grandma made tacos for supper and then we helped make cookies for dessert.
8/13/2008	Callie had her last day of tennis this morning and we had to hurry to get there. We dropped off Miley at doggie daycare (a new one this time!) and then we packed the car and dropped her off so Mommy could run and get coffee. We came back to watch and then afterwards we took off for Watertown! We met Grandma and Grandpa Robinson at the bank there and after eating lunch, they took us home to Aberdeen while Mommy went back home to work at the school. We played when we got there and Callie helped Grandpa pick vegetables from the garden. After supper I told Grandma I was tired and I got ready for bed and was asleep before 7:30! Callie stayed up and watched TV and read until her bedtime.
8/12/2008	We met Kim, Andrew,Abby, Matt, and Megan at the sprinkler park today. They even brought their new puppy, Izzy! We played in the sprinklers, ate lunch, played at the playground and ran through the sprinklers some more before it was time to go home. We were planning on going to Wild Water West at 4 but it looked like it was going to rain so we held off and in the meantime I went to Alisha's to play. It rained but cleared up so Callie and Daddy decided to go anyway while Mommy picked me up, fed me supper and put me to bed early because I have been really difficult lately (so she says anyway!). Callie and Daddy stopped and got ice cream on the way home and then told Mommy all about the waterpark - they had lots of fun!
8/11/2008	It rained this morning but luckily stopped in time for Callie's tennis class. We picked up Gillian and Adam afterwards to bring them to our house. We had fun playing witches and then Adam and I played village while Callie and Gillian played outside. Mommy made us pancakes and eggs for lunch and then we played some more. We dropped them off around 2:30 and then it was time to go to my school! I had an appointment to meet my teacher. I took all my school supplies and then she asked me to write my name and had me point out numbers to her. I also had to identify signs for stores like Target and restuarants like Taco Bell. I told Mommy there was one with a red sign that we eat dilly bars at but I couldn't think of the name (Dairy Queen) but I got most of the others. After that Mommy started putting up one of the bulletin boards and then we headed home. Daddy grilled quickly before it rained and we watched some olympics before going to bed.
8/10/2008	We watched more Olympics this morning and then Callie and Daddy had to go to Target to get London's birthday present. We ate lunch and then it was time for her party - she has a pool in her backyard so it was a swimming party. Mommy went shopping while Callie was at the party and Daddy and I surprised her. He took off my training wheels while she was gone and I started trying to ride without them. He didn't ever let go of course but Mommy was still proud of me! Callie came home at 5 so we supper and then went to the car races! There were a lot of wrecks so I started getting really tired but I didn't fall asleep (it was too noisy!) until the ride home.
8/9/2008	We went the Pavillion today since that had been on our summer list and we hadn't done it yet. Daddy and Callie decided to watch the Sharks movie in the cinedome but Mommy and I just played. We met up afterwards and headed home for lunch and then it was time to babysit Jace! Uncle Tom and Amber were going to a wedding so we had lots of fun playing with him. We tried to teach him how to color but he just wanted to eat the paper so we gave up on that and played "drums" with him instead. Mommy put him down for a nap and then Daddy's friend Eric came over so they played Guitar Hero. Uncle Tom and Amber came back then and they played too and then Jace woke up so they took him to the reception. Eric left and then Daddy and I went to Subway so we could eat subs in front of the tv while watching Olympics. Charlie and Gloria stopped by after supper to surprise us so Callie and I watched tv for awhile longer and then went to bed so the grown ups could talk.
8/8/2008	It was Callie's last day of zoo camp so they were having a sprinkler party. Mommy said I could invite Alisha over and we can go to the wading pool after dropping the girls off at the zoo. She came over and we played, had lunch together and then it was time to go to the zoo. Mommy took us to the wading pool after that but the water was cold so we only lasted about an hour and wanted to go home and play. After Callie was dropped off, we took Alisha home and then met Daddy at Red Lobster for supper. We came home so Daddy could mow and Mommy came out back to do yard work too. Miley came out too and Mommy didn't realize that Daddy had left the gate open but Miley figured it out. Mommy was NOT happy with her. She ran down the sidewalk to the corner and Mommy was trying to stay calm and walk after her coaxing her back. But at the corner Miley took off towards a neighbor that has two dogs in a backyard kennel. She got those dogs all riled up and they were barking and she was running back and forth along their kennel barking back. Mommy was extremely mad by this point but she still couldn't catch Miley - she kept darting away. Finally after what seemed like an eternity but was only 5 minutes she caught her and drug her home. Later after all was calm we watched the Olympics! I was ready for bed during the parade but Callie was so fascinated by it all so Daddy and Mommy let her stay up to watch it all.
8/7/2008	We took Miley to the dog park this morning. After lunch we took Lauren and Callie to the zoo. Mommy and I went grocery shopping and when we came home I got to go to the zoo with Lauren's little sister, Avery! Her mom was picking up Callie and Lauren so we went early and walked around the zoo until they were done with camp. I had lots of fun - we got along great and we really want to do a playdate soon. Mommy had supper all ready to grill when Daddy got home so we ate and then went over to Brad and Dena's house to see baby Jacob! We had fun playing with Gillian and Adam and then it was time to come home and go to bed. Mommy said we are really off of our bedtime schedule so school is going to be hard to get used to!
8/6/2008	We woke up to find out it was raining so Callie didn't have tennis. Daddy stayed home with us this morning because Mommy had to go fingerprinted and have her picture taken because she is officially going to be a substitute teacher now! After she came home and Daddy left, we helped her clean and then it was time to take Lauren and Callie to zoo camp. I had Alisha over after that so Mommy could keep cleaning. I was pretty wiped out by the time she went home and then Mommy had to leave for a Girl Scout Leader meeting and I bawled and clung to Mommy. After she left I cheered up and we ate a quick supper with Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace and then I went to bed early. Callie stayed up and played Wii for awhile until her bedtime.
8/5/2008	Callie had zoo camp again this afternoon so Mommy and I did my school shopping. I picked out a new outfit for the first day but after that I just wanted to look at shoes. Mommy just thinks it is so funny how much I LOVE new shoes and always think I need many different pairs of them. We went to Barnes and Noble for a snack after that and then we came home to wait for Callie. Daddy came home to change and then we loaded up our bikes and stopped to get subs for a picnic. While we were at the park two hot air balloons were being filled up so we watched them launch and then we went on our bike ride. We went almost 2 miles! Mommy and Daddy were quite impressed my little legs could go that far. We stopped at a park to play at the 1 mile mark and then headed back to our car.
8/4/2008	I forgot to tell you that we got letters in the mail on Saturday from school telling us our teachers!! It made us very excited but I think it made Mommy sort of sad reminding her that we are growing up on her. Today Callie had tennis and we took Miley again. She saw a squirrel and we don't have any in our yard so it was fairly new to her and she started barking like crazy. Finally she laid down to just watch it so we could watch Callie. We came home for lunch and then it was time to pick up Lauren and take her and Callie to zoo camp. They dropped me off at Alisha's for a playdate first and then Mommy headed to our school to work on PTA things and putting up the hallway bulletin boards. She got to see the new principal's office and the new teacher's workroom and said they are super nice - construction is finally done!
8/3/2008	Mommy took Callie school shopping today - she picked out her backpack and some new clothes. I went with Daddy to Sam's and Best Buy because Mommy and I are going to my shopping another time. Daddy grilled salmon on wood tonight - we thought that was funny! I of course wouldn't try any but I did try Mommy's noodle salad but still didn't like it. After we ate, we went over to Jackie's house for our neighborhood ice cream social! Everyone brought their lawnchairs and sat outside and visited. Callie and I finally met the neighbor girl who moved in a few houses down - she is 10 and going into fifth grade but not at Robert Frost. We invited her to our backyard to swing so we did that while grown ups talked. After Mommy and Daddy came home and Alyssa went back home we decided to take Miley to the lake for a swim! It was her first time there and she was excited at first but then she got nervous when the water became deep. She did swim out a few times to retrieve her toy but the last time she wanted nothing to do with it so Mommy had to wade in to get it. We brought her home and gave her a bath so she didn't stink like lake water and then it was time for bed.
8/2/2008	They woke up all the Girl Scouts at 7am this morning for breakfast and then everyone had to have their tents down and be gone by 7:30! Mommy had a hard time waking Callie - she was sleeping hard. They stopped for coffee and hot cocoa at Caribou on the way home while Daddy and I were having breakfast at Daylight. I went with Mommy to take Miley to the dogpark later this morning and then Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came over! We talked for awhile and then we met Uncle Tom, Amber and Jace at Joeys Seafood for lunch. I was getting very tired and almost fell asleep on the way home but then I found my energy again to play with Jace once we were home. Grandma picked up Maggie from Doggie Daycare and she and Miley had fun playing in the pool and backyard. After they went to the shade to cool off - us kids (Jace too!) sat in the wading pool and splashed around. Grandma and Grandma left around 6 and then Daddy made us grilled PB&J sandwiches and we went to bed very early.
8/1/2008	We went to the hospital to see Brad and Dena's baby. They named him Jacob Josiah - he was very cute. Callie held him but I didn't want to. We played with Gillian and Adam for a bit and then we picked up Daddy for lunch at Sonic. After lunch we went to WalMart so I could pick out my backpack - I chose a Kung Fu Panda one, which really surprised Mommy. I didn't like any of the lunchboxes so I decided to wait but Callie found a Tinkerbell lunchbox she liked. After Daddy got home from work we all went to the baseball game. It was Girl Scouts Night there so we all got tickets for a free hot dog and pop and after the game there were fireworks! I was very tired by then and had a hard time leaving Callie and Mommy but Daddy carried me to the car. They got to stay and put up their tent and sleepover! Kim, Abby, and Andrew stayed too so they set up their tent right next to Mommy. They had smores and watched a movie on a big screen (well they tried too) and then at midnight they went to bed.
7/31/2008	Mommy had to work on laundry today so Callie and I kept busy playing pirates and hospital. Brad called to let us know that Dena was in the hospital this morning and then this afternoon he called to let us know she had the baby!! We get to visit tomorrow. Finally it was time to go to Wild Water West. They were having a Girl Scout Night there for all the girls who registered early for next year so we went. Daddy was going to meet us there later but he decided he needed to mow and it would have been late anyway when he got there. We met up with Kim, Abby, and Andrew because Abby is a Brownie too! We went down the slides, on the lazy river, swam, ate supper, and swam some more. We stayed until they closed at 8pm and then it was time to head home for bed.
7/30/2008	We slept in a little bit and then Mommy and I went to get Miley while Daddy took Callie to her tennis lessons. After we ate lunch Mommy and Daddy decided to run errands which we complained about endlessly. They picked out solar lights for the yard, looked at new mattresses, and kitchen flooring. We were very happy to be back home!
7/29/2008	Happy 13th Anniversary Mommy and Daddy! They had presents for each other and it made them laugh because they had bought each other t-shirts without knowing! Mommy got Daddy a guitar hero shirt and he got Mommy a Guns-N-Roses shirt! We had breakfast and packed up to check out and all of sudden Mommy realized it was 10:10 and they had movie tickets at the museum for 11am all the way in St. Paul! We ran out of the motel and Daddy drove quickly to the Science Museum. Mommy had to get our tickets from Will Call while Daddy took us to the bathroom and phew we made it with 10 minutes to spare. After the movie we ate lunch and then we had tickets to see the Star Wars Exhibit at 1. There were lots of costumes and model space ships to look at and even some hands on stations to build things. Callie and Daddy really enjoyed it - Mommy is not a big star wars fan and I was so tired that I just wanted to leave by then. We decided to split up after that so we could do a quick version and I just picked the exhibits I wanted to play at while Daddy and Callie did a more in-depth tour. They even played mini golf and mined for gems outside. Mommy took me to the car and she read while I slept and finally at 5 they were done. We headed to Burnsville to eat supper and get gas and then we were on the way home by 7 and home at 11.
7/28/2008	We decided to head to ValleyFair today since the weather looked nice and Daddy decided it would be less tiring to leave after the museum rather than ValleyFair. We got there right away so it wasn't very busy at first and we hardly had any lines until lunch time. Callie and Mommy went on the Wave (kind of like the flume) and got really wet and after that I wanted to go on a ride just with Mommy so we did the Ferris Wheel - my first time ever (and something Callie has never done!). I was scared but Mommy was very proud of me. Daddy talked Callie into going on her first rollercoaster - the mad mouse. It was a good first rollercoaster he said because it was a mild one. She LOVED it and wanted to go with Mommy again right away and later went on it a third time! Callie and I did lots of kid rides, played in the foam ball factory, and then Daddy and I went on the flume. We took a break to swim at the water park because we were so hot and then went back to rides in our wet suits to keep us cool. Mommy and Callie went on Thunder Canyon after that and then she took Daddy too - she had a great time on big rides! We were hot and tired by supper so we headed to our room and had pizza delivered so we could just rest. Our motel pool was broken but Mommy said we needed to get to bed anyway.
7/27/2008	We slept until 8 since we were up so late and then we headed to breakfast (well Daddy slept in more). We came back to our room to get dressed and ready for the zoo and we were on the way by 10. We checked out the flowers and the Japanese Gardens first and then walked around the zoo. We ate lunch at their cafeteria and then by 3 we had seen everything and were anxious to see Erin and Connor. It took a long time to get from St. Paul to their house so I had a nice nap in the car. Their neighbor's had told them we could swim in their pool (they were out of town) so we went right over to do that and it was great fun! Callie finally tried jumping off a diving board. She was nervous at first but then she really liked it and did it over and over. We went back and played inside for awhile, ate supper (they grilled us hamburgers and brats!), and then we jumped in the trampoline after that. It was time to go back to our room and to bed after that.
7/26/2008	We actually slept in until 7:30 this morning - even Miley so we got a later start on our vacation than planned but that is ok. Mommy took Miley to Top Dog while Daddy packed the car and then we were ready to go. We wanted to eat lunch at the Mall of America because Daddy and Callie really liked PB Loco but when we finally got there it was closed so they were sad. We ate crepes instead and then walked around to shop and check out the new Nickolodean Universe (the old Camp Snoopy). We were anxious to get to the motel to swim so we kept bugging Mommy and Daddy but they had things they wanted to buy first. Finally they let us head to our room. We swam right away and had a lot of fun and then we went to the room to get ready for a late supper. I fell asleep on the way to the restaurant (well it was almost 8) so Daddy stayed in the car with me while Mommy & Callie put our name on the list and waited. We had our table by 8:30 and our supper by 9 - we thought it was pretty funny eating that late! We ate at the Cheesecake Factory but we were too stuffed to eat cheesecake so Daddy got three slices to go for later. We ate one slice in the room and the other two we saved for tomorrow night.
7/25/2008	We took Miley to the dog park this morning and then came home to play barbies. Alisha called to ask me over after lunch so I decided to go there instead of swimming with Mommy and Callie. They went to the other aquatic center and it had two waterslides (one with a tube) and they did both of those over and over. Then Callie decided she wanted to try to the drop off slide. It starts like a real slide but just stops and you plunge the rest of the way into the water from about 6 feet above the pool into 12 feet of water. Mommy was SOOO scared - she hasn't done anything like that in years! They talked about how nervous each of them were and then Mommy went first. She forgot how deep you go in and she panicked trying to get back up and get air so she wanted to yell at Callie not to do it but it was too late. Callie LOVED it though (she didn't go down as far being littler I suppose). She wanted to go again and Mommy really didn't want to but she also hated to turn Callie off of it so they went one more time before it was time to come pick me up! I had fun playing with Alisha and I even went with to watch her get her kindergarten shots!
7/24/2008	It was another dreary day although it didn't actually rain. Mommy wanted to go shopping but we kept complaining and she was kind of tired so it didn't take much to convince her to forget that idea. We did have to go meet Dad so he could get his oil changed though and we took him back to work. After supper Mommy left to shop by herself and we watched a movie with Daddy.
7/23/2008	We took Miley along to tennis lessons again this morning. First Mommy got herself some coffee and us muffins (and of course they gave Miley a treat there too) and we sat in the park to enjoy it. Miley gets a bit too excited to get out of the truck though and since she was already on her leash she pulled Mommy off balance and spilled coffee all over her shirt and shorts - she wasn't too happy. She did very good after that though and just rested under the picnic table and watched all the people. It started raining after we came home so we watched a new movie - Parent Trap (the original). Mommy loved it when she was a kid so she was excited for us to watch it. Later in the afternoon Callie went to play at Lauren's house and so I played by myself while Mommy worked on her scrapbook. Mommy wishes we could both get invited to play on the same day sometime!
7/22/2008	Callie was signed up to do a bug craft workshop at the library using fingerprints (it was only for second graders and older) so Mommy and I just looked at books. Mommy is upset because we aren't having very good luck at the library. In the last 6 months we lost a book (although Mommy is sure we returned it but we paid for it anyway), she had to pay for another book that got wet while we were camping, and now today they told us we have another one missing that Mommy can't find anywhere! After supper we were all getting ready to go on a bike ride when Alisha called to invite me over to play. I decided to go there instead and that worked out great because Mommy, Daddy, and Callie could rider further and faster without me. They went a long ways on the bike path and Callie did an excellent job starting and stopping all by herself!
7/21/2008	Callie had tennis today and then Mommy had to stop at a couple of stores to pick up PTA things - we of course complained the entire time. We came home to eat lunch and then I had Alisha over but Callie wanted to hang out with Mommy so she didn't call anyone. Alisha went home about 4 and then we had to help Mommy clean up because Charlie and Gloria finally came to town!! They closed on their house and then they came over to celebrate. Tina came over to babysit and they all went to the new Spezia for supper and drinks on the patio. Tina let us ride our bikes to the park and then we came home to draw with chalk, play school, and had a bedtime snack. She put us to bed at 8:30 (Mommy LOVES that she is so good at this) and they came home around 9 to take her home. Charlie and Gloria stayed for awhile to visit and then they went to spend the night in their new house!
7/20/2008	We were all tired today so it was kind of a lazy day. Daddy mowed but then came in and watched a movie with us. Mommy decided we should take a nap because we were so crabby but then at bedtime that backfired because neither of us could fall asleep until 10:30!
7/19/2008	We were so excited today because Mommy & Daddy's friend Charlie and his wife were supposed to get here (they are moving here!) but they had some problems so couldn't make it so then we were sad. We decided to head to the mall so Mommy could finally pick out her glasses and be done with her decision and she was able to pick them up later! The weather did not look good for the jazzfest this afternoon - we had lots of thunderstorms and even tornado warnings so they had to close it for an hour but by supper it was open again and warm out so we went! Mommy's Aunt Charlene and Uncle Bill came to town for it so we met them there and had a lot of fun. We ate supper, walked around, and even saw Callie's friend London there! She was sitting pretty close so Mommy let us ran back and forth and play together. I fell asleep near the end so Mommy had to carry me to the car and since I was so heavy they were especially thankful Uncle Tom had let them use his VIP parking sticker to be able to park very close.
7/18/2008	We rode our bikes to the park for crafts this morning. We played at the park for awhile afterwards and then rode our bikes back home for lunch. Mommy had to run some errands so we were not very happy about coming along but she made the last stop Barnes and Noble so Callie could get her free book (because she read 8 books this summer) and then she bought us cookies - yum! We decided to stay home tonight to get rested up for the JazzFest tomorrow!
7/17/2008	It stormed this morning and we had to take Haley and Shelby to the vet for their shots so they were not happy. Callie and I were kind of nervous too since we do not like storms at all! Mommy cleaned today so we had fun playing. Daddy rode his bike around the block with Callie while I showered and then I went outside in my pjs to ride my bike too.
7/16/2008	Callie had tennis again this morning. She told Mommy (and later Daddy) that she learned she is horrible at serving. Mommy reminded her that it is only the second day of lessons! Her lessons are in the same park as the plays so we walked over to the stage afterwards and watched the last play for the summer. Mommy was pretty bummed about that - summer is going too fast she says. We came home for lunch and some resting time and then we met Dena, Gillian, and Adam at the pool. We stayed until 5 and headed home for a quick supper and then Daddy took us to Hot Summer Nights downtown. That is where all the corvettes and harleys park up and down the street and there is a band and tons of people. We met Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace there too! We came home around 9 and Mommy had left little cards on our pillows telling us good night because she was out shopping.
7/15/2008	We went to a puppet show today at the library. Then Mommy had a few things to take to the humane society so we visited the kitties there too. Callie and I thought a couple of them were pretty crazy - ours are so lazy so it is fun to see baby kittens actually run around and play! We took our truck to the fix it shop after that and Daddy met us there so we could take his car after dropping him back off work. It was really hot so we were going to go to the pool but we changed our minds after awhile because Callie and I were having such fun playing library. When Daddy got home we went to family swim (he decided to stay home and rest though) but we only had about 30 minutes and then it thundered so they closed the pool.
7/14/2008	I forgot to tell you all about Thursday night after the VBS program! Mommy put us to bed but two minutes later she called to us to come outside. There were TONS of lightning bugs flying around. We see a few once in awhile but our whole neighborhood was lit up with them so it was a rare sight she wanted us to see. Callie ran around and kept catching them but I just liked watching them glow. Today was Callie's first day of tennis lessons and she was excited. We took Miley along to watch since it is at a park and we saw Callie's brownies friend, Anna was there with her dog too! She was also starting tennis so that was nice they knew each other. After lunch I had Alisha over (Callie didn't find anyone at home) and we played all afternoon. Mommy set up the slip-n-slide and that was great fun! Daddy grilled supper when he got home and then he mowed while Callie and I rode bikes all over the place. She is having so much fun on her bike now - she didn't even want to come in to bed.
7/13/2008	I woke up at 6:15 since I went to bed so early but Mommy convinced me to stay in bed for awhile until I had to go to the bathroom really bad! Then we ate breakfast outside quietly and went to the park. We saw two hot air balloons go right over us too! Finally the other kids all woke up so could play until the grown ups were ready for the day. Our dads took all of us kids to the fish hatchery while the moms started packing up. We came back for lunch and then went to the beach with our moms while the dads loaded the trucks. When they came down to the beach we swam for awhile longer and then we all headed home. Callie and I slept all the way home. We were excited to pick up Miley (I think she had a great time swimming in their wading pools and playing with all the dogs!) and we unpacked at home. Daddy took us all out to eat afterwards and then we came home for baths and Big Brother!
7/12/2008	We were tired and actually slept in this morning until almost 8am! We showered and had breakfast and then went on more bike rides. Callie finally figured out how to start the bike herself! We played all morning and then after lunch we went to the beach. It was fun riding all the waves and we made sandcastles too. We headed back to our campsite around 4 so we could get ready for supper. We decided to go to Mommy's favorite place, Charlie's Pizza. I was so tired that I fell asleep after only a few bites and didn't even wake up when Mommy put me in the car. Mommy and Daddy stopped to look at a boat on the way back (they sure love to dream!) and I told Mommy I just wanted to go to bed when we got to the tent so she put me to bed at 6:30! Callie had fallen on her bike earlier and there was lots of blood and crying but she decided she was ready to try again so she and Mommy went on a bike ride while I slept and Daddy read. When everyone got back (Erkonen's had went on a family bike ride too) all the kids excpet Andrew went to bed. Andrew and Callie stayed up with the grown-ups for a fire and visiting.
7/11/2008	Daddy had today off so we could leave for camping right away. Mommy and I were going to go and get set up and Daddy was going to pick up Callie after VBS and head down but it was taking too long so we just decided to all go together since we didn't need room for the dog this time. Mommy took her to her first boarding kennel and then we picked up lunch and then Callie and we ate in the car on the way there. We got everything all set up and then headed to the beach to swim. We came back around supper time and Erkonens were just getting there. We grilled supper and then had a great time playing and riding bikes. Daddy started a fire and we made smores and then it was time for bed.
7/10/2008	Callie had a very hard time deciding if she should go to VBS or to Kindermusik today. It was the last day of Kindermusik so she thought she wanted to go to that but then she remembered they were learning two new songs at VBS and tonight was the program so she wanted to know them. SO there was lots of stress and crying but finally she decided on VBS. We dropped her off, got Mommy her coffee, and then it was time for my class. We had a closing ceremony Olympic style at the end so Mommy got to come in and watch that and then we got groceries for our camping trip before picking up Callie. I played at Alisha's while Mommy got everything all packed and then Daddy came home to get us. We ate a quick supper and went to Callie's VBS program - she did a great job singing and doing all the actions. There was an ice cream social afterwards so we had to have ice cream of course and then we went home to bed.
7/9/2008	We took Callie to VBS again this morning and then we took Alisha to the play in the park. First we played at the playground and then found our spot to watch the performance. I actually danced and did the songs with Alisha (usually I just sit on Mommy's lap and watch) and then we played again after it was over. We got to the church a little early so Alisha and I watched the experiments the VBS teacher was doing and then it was time to take her home. After lunch Callie and I rollerbladed in the garage and then Dena brought her kids over so we could babysit! We had fun playing witches eating popsicles outside until she came to pick them up. Daddy went to a concert after work so Mommy took us to family swim and we ate pizza there!
7/8/2008	Callie had VBS again - I forgot to tell you that the theme this year is Power Lab so they get to be mad scientists and yesterday they got to decorate their very own lab coat with fabric markers! Callie had a lot of fun! Mommy and I went shopping and then she started working on weeds in the backyard so she even asked Daddy to bring Callie home, which he did. After lunch I went to Alisha's house so Mommy and Callie asked Dena and her kids to meet them at the pool for the afternoon. Alisha and I swam in her wading pool and played barbies. I was very tired at supper (I slept terrible last night and was up at 6 this morning) so Mommy put me to bed at 6:30 while Daddy and Callie went to the play at the park and then stopped for ice cream.
7/7/2008	Callie started vacation bible school this morning - I decided I didn't want to go. Besides I had my kindergarten Dr's appointment today and I was so anxious to get there. Mommy had told me I was getting shots so she wasn't sure if I was that excited or I just wanted to get it over with. But I was very brave and even talked to the Dr. when she asked me questions (usually I just look at Mommy so she will answer them for me). I had FOUR shots and all of them in my arms so I only needed two bandaids. They gave me two stickers (and I told Mommy I was going to give Callie one) and a brand new book! We went to pick up Callie after that and then came home for lunch and playtime. Mommy had lots of laundry to do so we just stayed home. I had a hard time sleeping tonight - Mommy figures the shots must have something to do with that because I just kept waking up crying which is very unlike me.
7/6/2008	This morning we packed up our things and then went out for breakfast again with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey - Mommy and Daddy came with this time. We headed to Robinsons after that and played again. Callie and Grandpa picked more peas so we could take some home - oh and I forgot to tell you that we helped shell them on the 4th. I would open the pods but I wouldn't touch the peas though - Callie had to do that part. We ate lunch together and played some more and then it was time to go. Miley was super tired and hardly moved the whole trip home and we fell asleep for a long while too! We grabbed supper when we got to town so Mommy could unpack and Daddy could mow right away. Miley still kept sleeping all evening long!
7/5/2008	We all slept in a little bit - even Miley. Grandma made breakfast and then Mommy and I went back to sleep we were so tired. Callie went with Grandma to the nursery and Daddy watched the dogs. We had sandwiches for lunch and then we got ready to go to the pool with Grandma Ivey and Mommy! Daddy went fireworks shopping with Grandpa Robinson so he didn't come with. We had a lot of fun at their neat pool although the wind made it a little chilly. Callie went down the waterslides - she and Mommy went down a tube slide together and she talked Grandma into going down a slide too! We headed home to play and then Grandpa grilled steaks for everyone (well I had a peanut butter sandwich of course). We visited Great Grandma Ivey for awhile and then had ice cream at dairy queen for our bedtime snack.
7/4/2008	Happy Fourth of July! Mommy woke up early to take Miley on a walk and when she came back we were up and dressed and ready to go out for breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey. We even met Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin there! When we came back Mommy and Daddy were ready to go over to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house! Grandma is feeling a lot better so we brought the barbie stuff outside and she played with me - Grandpa even hung a sheet on the clothesline for a little tent for us. He and Callie picked lots of peas and then Callie started shooting off bottle rockets with Daddy. Miley and Cosmo played for awhile and even splashed in Cosmo's bathtub! Uncle Chuck came out and we all ate supper together outside and then we did more fireworks. Finally it was dark so we could do the pretty ones. I did a sparkler and even lit my first smokebomb but I didn't want to do anything else - I just sat by Mommy and watched. Around 10:30 I told her I was ready for bed so she tucked me in Grandma's guest bed and told me she would carry me to the car when they were ready to leave. They did lots more fireworks and Callie lit a lot of them! Miley was a little nervous about them so Mommy put her in the crate to watch and then she seemed ok about it all. Callie wanted to stay up until midnight so a little after that Grandpa did his big finale and then we all headed back to Iveys.
7/3/2008	Mommy took us out for breakfast this morning and then we ran lots of errands with her. We came home for lunch and then Daddy called and said he was getting off early so we could leave early for Aberdeen! Mommy hurried to finish packing and then we left at 2. We let Miley play with Maggie for awhile and then we went to Pizza Ranch with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey. We came back and played and even sat in their hot tub for awhile. Then it was time to get ready for bed - they bought me a trundle bed to fit under the day bed that Callie sleeps in! So we had a fun night sleeping in the same room.
7/2/2008	We went the play in the park this morning - it was about a pirate princess! We went home for lunch and met Daddy there so Mommy could get her hair cut alone. After lunch Mommy had a lot of work to do so we just played at home and had a lot of fun! We helped Mommy make tacos and brownies for supper and then we went to the store so she could shop for some glasses again. She is having a hard time deciding!
7/1/2008	Callie woke up early this morning because she was so excited to go to grandma and grandpas. But after Mommy got home from walking Miley, Grandpa called to tell us Grandma Robinson was in the hospital and having surgery to get her appendix out! So we didn't get to go of course. We were supposed to meet them in Watertown and we were going to spend a few days alone with them until Mommy & Daddy came on the 4th. Alisha happened to call to invite me over and I told her on the phone "well I was supposed to be in Aberdeen you know but my grandma is in surgery" and when Mommy dropped me off at her house I said to Alisha again "I just feel so sorry for my grandma - she is in the hospital you know" so Mommy thought I was pretty cute. I went with Alisha's family to their friend's house with a pool and we swam! Mommy and Callie went with Dena, Gillian, and Adam to the lake to swim. So we all had a fun day. And Grandma is back at home resting now so she should be feeling better soon.
6/29/2008	We played outside today since it was nice again. Mommy wanted to go to the pool but Daddy wanted to go to the movie but then I fell asleep so we couldn't do either! Mommy and Callie went to the mall so she could start thinking about how she wanted to spend her birthday money. I woke up and Daddy called to say we were going to go to Wall-e and they decided to join us! It was a great movie.
6/28/2008	We had some shopping to do this morning and then we went out for lunch at a place we have never been to before. After we came home Daddy worked on our new cat door - at first his saw was broken but then all of a sudden it started working again! He did a very good job on it and the cats even fit, although Shelby was a tight squeeze. We kept asking all afternoon if it was 6:00 yet because we were SOO excited to have a babysitter! Finally Mommy went to pick her up and we hardly said good-bye to them we were so anxious to start playing with Tina. We played board games, school, and Wii. We were going to ride bikes but it started raining. She even put us to bed on time (Mommy had told us pjs and snack at 8:30 and lights out at 9). Callie told Mommy it was 9:01 when she turned on her music to go to sleep (she listens to Eric Clapton while falling asleep now). Mommy and Daddy had a good time and were back by 11 to take the babysitter home.
6/27/2008	We rode our bikes to the park this morning to do the craft - it was a dream catcher! It was kind of hard for me so Mommy had to help me a lot. We played at home for a long time too. It wasn't really hot enough to go to the pool so Mommy was disappointed but we had fun anyway. After supper we watched a movie. Mommy was afraid it was going to be too scary for me but I liked it!
6/26/2008	Happy Birthday Aunt Michelle! We had Kindermusik this morning and showed everyone the flags we made. Today we skiied to music and did ski jumps and made up names for them. I was from the US, Callie was from England, and we also talked about Canada. Mommy sure enjoys her time at the coffee shop reading while we are there and we only have one class left. After Mommy's bad day with Miley yesterday and considering how messy our house was she decided to run her to daycare after our class. Callie and I watched a movie since it was raining and then we played. Mommy was very busy all day so we just kept to ourselves so she could finish all her things. We have a babysitter coming this weekend - it will be the second time we have ever had a babysitter at our house before and this time it will be Alisha's big sister - so I guess we had to have a clean house for that. We picked a very tired Miley up at suppertime and then we ate and painted pictures for awhile.
6/25/2008	I went to Alisha's for a few hours again today so Callie was very bored. After I came home we made our flags for Kindermusik tomorrow and then we played. Mommy had to run errands so we had to come with but we complained the entire time so I don't think she was very happy and when we got home Miley was a big pain so she didn't have a very good day. Daddy had darts so he had to leave early (Mommy is glad it was his last night!)and she had us shower and go to bed early because she just wanted the day to end.
6/24/2008	We were tired this morning so we just played in our pjs until lunchtime. Alisha asked me over to play after lunch so I went over there and Mommy & Callie played games while I was gone. Daddy came to pick us up after work so we could meet Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace for supper and then we all went to the play together at the park. I forgot to tell you that last week Callie got to go up front for her birthday and everyone sang Happy Birthday to her and three other kids! Tonight's play was about the Fairy Godmother's assistant. Jace came over after the play so Tom could try our our new Wii game - he is walking a little bit now so that was fun to watch!
6/23/2008	There was a play in the park this morning that was really fun - it wasn't the normal Children's Theater but the local college instead. They performed three different books - Fancy Nancy, The Diary of a Worm, and Lily's Plastic Purple Purse. Afterwards we came home and ate lunch and then I had Alisha over! Mommy worked on putting all the camping things away while we played. Lauren was still at camp so Callie was sad but we let her play with us. Daddy had to mow this evening and we played outside but we were both getting so tired and cranky so Mommy had me in bed by 7 and Callie before 8 so hopefuly we will be rested for tomorrow.
6/22/2008	We were all tired and slept in until almost 8 - even Miley didn't make a peep! We ate breakfast and then Mommy and Callie took a long bike ride while Daddy and I took a short one. Daddy took us to the hatchery and the visitor center to play while Mommy cleaned up our campsite and hung out with Miley. After lunch Grandma and Grandpa Robinson stopped by (they were in NE and heading home) so we visited with them for awhile. We had everything packed up and ready to go home so Daddy and Miley left while us girls went to the beach to swim one last time. Callie met a girl who was 8 too and they played for awhile so Mommy and I floated on her air mattress together. We changed clothes and headed to town to eat at Mommy's favorite pizza place, Charlies, and then we went home. We didn't get there until 8:30 so Daddy and Miley were very excited to see us. Callie and I played outside while they unpacked and then we had to take showers - it was 10:30 before we were in bed!
6/21/2008	We were in a shady spot so we actually slept in until 7:30 (which is unusual for camping!). We had breakfast, showered, and then went on a bike ride. Callie did really good once Mommy got her started and I couldn't keep up so Mommy had to ride in between us watching Callie but not going too far to upset me. We ate lunch on a blanket in the shade and then headed to the beach. Daddy called when he and Miley got to the campsite so we left the beach to meet them. We got Miley settled in and hung out at our tent for awhile. Then we decided to swim again. This time Daddy brought Miley and sat in the grass (dogs aren't allowed on the beach) so he could watch us. We made pizzas on the fire afterwards and then Callie and Daddy went on a long bike ride. We all went frisbee golfing afterwards and then it started to rain again! I was ready for bed so Mommy tucked me in and the rest of them sat by the fire (luckily the rain stopped). Miley slept in the crate but Mommy put it right next to the tent so she could look in and see us. Mommy was very happy that she was such a good dog for her first camping trip.
6/20/2008	Today was the start of our camping trip! We packed up the truck and then Daddy came home at lunch to help load the bikes on - this was the first time we put all four on because I used to use a smaller bike which we just put in back. We left town around 2 and we checked in at 3:30. Mommy wanted to get the tent up as soon as possible because there was a chance of rain showers so we worked on that first. Callie and I were really helpful too! After we had the whole camp set up we had a late snack and headed to the lake to swim. Most people were leaving since it was almost supper time so we had a fairly empty beach to play in. About 7 the wind picked up and it got dark so Mommy hurried us along to get back to camp. We changed and closed up all the tent windows and put lawnchairs and towels in the truck just in time because it started to rain. We decided to go to town for supper at Bonanza! We came back to the tent and had a fire (the rain had stopped and even left a beautiful double rainbow) and then called Daddy to say good-night. We played Uno in the tent and read stories and finally went to sleep at 11.
6/19/2008	This morning was our Kindermusik class - we learned about Norway and did the luge to Norwegian music, Italy, and Japan. We came home and ate lunch outside with Miley and then Dena, Adam, and Gillian came over. We played in the wading pool and went through the sprinkler for awhile and then we played dress up. Mommy had to run errands when Daddy got home so he made us supper and she came back just in time for him to go to darts. Finally it was a Thursday without storms. Of course while Callie was trying to fall asleep a fire truck siren was nearby and she freaked out thinking it was a tornado siren so it took an extra long time for her to fall asleep.
6/18/2008	We went to the play in the park this morning - it was about cowboys! We saw Gillian and Adam there again so we played together after the play. After lunch we talked about going to the pool but I didn't really feel up to it and then Callie was invited to Kathryn's house! I had a good time playing by myself most of the afternoon and Mommy got lots of things done. We met Daddy at the mall so Mommy could show him the new glasses she likes and then we ate at the Brazillian Restaurant for a late Father's Day celebration. I just had corn dogs of course because I don't like all that meat but as usual Callie ate tons, probably more than Mommy! We came home and played the Wii and then got ready for bed.
6/17/2008	It was a craft day in the park so we walked over there this morning and made fancy masks with glitter and feathers. We played awhile after that and then we had to head home so Mommy could go to her Drs appt. We came home to eat lunch and even ate outside it was so nice and then we played until it was time to go to the pool. We met Erkonens there and had a lot of fun. After supper we went to Family Fun Night and won lots of prizes. I even saw Alisha there! Callie and I were both tired out after our big day so we went right to bed.
6/16/2008	Happy Birthday Callie! We played and took baths this morning and then we went to the zoo! First we met Daddy at the park for a picnic lunch and when he went back to work we walked around the zoo. We saw a baby monkey and two baby wolves - they were SOOO cute. We headed home after that and played outside until Daddy got home. He grilled and then finally Callie could open her gifts - she had been very excited for that! She got a story center that Mommy made (she was quite excited about that since she loves to write stories), a Wii game, some books, and new roller blades (so I can use her old ones now!!). We had to play the Wii game so Mommy took Miley to the dog park while we did that and when she came back we had cake.
6/15/2008	Happy Father's Day! Mommy and I went to Taco John's to get breakfast for everyone since that is Daddy's favorite! Then we gave him his gift - a reclining lawn chair for camping! We hung out with Grandma and Grandpa this morning. Callie showed them how she can ride her bike without training wheels and I showed them how fast I can go on my bike and the jeep. They gave Callie her birthday presents and then they got ready to go home. Daddy wanted to go to a movie for Father's day so we went to Nim's Island and it was really good! We came home and took a bike ride to the park after that and then we were going to eat out at the Brazilian restuarant but found out it isn't open on Sunday nights so we decided to go to Chuck E Cheese instead! We played lots of video games and then ended our super fun day with ice cream at Cold Stone.
6/14/2008	Today was Callie's big day! She had to be at the theater at 12:15 so we ate an early lunch and Mommy dropped her off while Daddy and I ran errands. We didn't go to her 1pm show but she had a lot of fun - Daddy picked her up at 4 when it got over and then she had to be back already at 5:45 so she didn't have much time at home! Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came over in the afternoon and Daddy grilled as soon as Callie was home. Mommy hurried to get Callie dressed again and refreshed her make-up and then we all went to the theater when we dropped her off. I really enjoyed the show this year and at intermission I helped Daddy pick out a rose to give her. At the end I was getting really tired but I was trying SO hard to stay up because my friend Tate got to give his big siser a rose and I really wanted to too. The second to last song was when I finally crashed. I saw Callie at least and she did a great job!! She was super tired when we got home and Mommy had a hard time getting her to calm down to sleep but finally she did.
6/13/2008	I forgot to tell you that last night (Since it was Thursday I guess) it stormed again!! Right when Daddy was dropping us off it just started pouring and the wind came up really strong and got really dark all of a sudden. We were very scared and Daddy felt bad about dropping us off during the middle of it but we ran in and seemed ok. And luckily it ended as quick as it started. Today we went with Mommy to her eye appointment and then she let us eat out at the mall since that is where her appointment was. We came home so I could nap while Callie & Mommy drew fashion designs. As soon as I woke up we took Miley to the dog park and then Callie had to eat a very early supper. We took her to dress rehearsal and Daddy met us there so he could take me back home. We had supper and watched a movie together while Mommy stayed at rehearsal. It was almost 10 when they got home and I was still awake because I napped and I hate going to bed without Mommy at home!
6/12/2008	I forgot to tell you that yesterday we went in for a haircut and Callie decided she wanted quite a bit off her back and she looks really neat! Mommy thinks it makes her look older. Today we had kindermusik and learned about songs and sports from Spain and Australia. Last week we learned about Greece and China. After lunch I called Alisha to come over and play but they were going to the pool so we decided to go too! It turned out to be a great day to go - they weren't as busy and it got hotter than it was supposed to. Callie played with us since she didn't see any of her friends there and then she went down the big waterslide two times! We came home so Mommy could get ready for her photography class (so she could learn more about her new camera) and Daddy took us to daycare when he was ready to go to darts. Mommy picked us up about 9 and we went straight to bed.
6/11/2008	Today we went to the magic show at the library! Afterwards we ran some errands with Mommy. Callie had her last real ballet class today. Mommy made pancakes for supper and then she left to go shopping so we played the Wii with Daddy.
6/10/2008	The Children's Theater started this week so we went to that this morning. It was Princess and the Pea today and we saw Gillian and Adam there too! We played with them afterwards and then we came home for lunch and to let Miley out. We decided to go to the pool around 2 because it was finally hot out and every one else thought so too because the aquatic center pool was at capacity and there were about 30 people in line waiting for others to leave. Mommy said NO WAY but we really wanted the aquatic center so she decided to drive us way across town to the other one only to find out the pipes had burst and it was closed! She was not happy. We went to the wading pool instead that has a deeper side to it and we had fun there. Mommy just watched - she said the water is still just too cold for her. Daddy mowed tonight while we played outside and Miley was out front with us like she is most evenings -she really loves sitting out front watching everyone walk by. And our neighbors love to stop by and pet her so she gets LOTS of attention!
6/9/2008	This morning we went to the park to play tennis! It was the first time Callie and I have ever done that and it had been a long time for Mommy too so needless to say we did a lot of chasing balls. We came home so Mommy could work on laundry while Callie and I played barbies. OH and I woke up with LOTS of bug bites from the lake - Mommy always forgets how badly bug bites are for me - I just swell up. We took Miley to the dog park and today she had fun playing with another basset mix puppy - this one was mixed with a cocker spaniel. Afterwards it was time to take Callie to ballet. Daddy picked her up and Mommy had supper all ready. We ate and got ready to go to the drive-in! Kung Fu was playing. We packed our cooler and stopped at Walgreens to buy candy and we were set. We watched the first half on our lawnchairs in front of the truck but it got pretty chilly so we moved inside the truck for the last part. I fell asleep right before the end but Callie stayed up until the drive home.
6/8/2008	We went on a family bike ride after lunch today! Our first one with Callie not having training wheels. We took our bikes to the bike path because she doesn't like sharp turns yet and it just curves there. She had a hard time starting - lots of tears and Mommy was about to give up but finally she got going and then she was fine so it was fun! We played at the park afterwards and then headed home to get ready to go to the lake! Daddy decided to stay home because he wanted to go to a movie later in the afternoon. We thought about bringing Miley but figured we would wait til Daddy came with for that. The water was still pretty cold but had great fun in the sand and still swam a little bit. Lots of people had their dogs swimming over by the boat loading area so Mommy wants to bring Miley out for sure next time! We came home at 5 and while I was showering Mommy talked to Alisha's mom and found out I could go over to their house to jump in the inflatable they had for her sister's bday party! I hurried in the shower and then Mommy drove me over and it was super fun. Mommy walked back to get me around 7:30 and I was just having cake so I finished and we headed home for bed.
6/7/2008	Callie and her friends woke up at 5:55! Mommy hoped they wouldn't wake me but they were having fun laughing so of course I woke up about 15 minutes after they did. Daddy had picked up donut holes last night so Mommy got those out with some juice and the girls had breakfast before playing. Around 10 am they packed up their things and Mommy took them home. Callie was extremely tired so Mommy kept telling her to lay down - finally she went and read while Daddy and I went to the mall. We came home for lunch and then Callie and I napped with Mommy. Afterwards Daddy mowed while we played outside with Miley. We decided to eat out for supper and then we came home and all went on a walk together with Miley.
6/6/2008	Callie's birthday sleepover was today so Callie was excited ALL day. She helped Mommy decorate her room (that is where she wanted everyone to sleep) and then we ran to get her birthday cookie from the store. Finally it was 3 and Lauren and Ann arrived (Kathryn ended up not being able to come). We played for a little bit and then Mommy took us mini-golfing! Daddy met us there so he and I could go golf on our own while Mommy kept score for the girls. We headed home afterwards and each made our own mini-pizza. Then we played outside because the sun finally came out. After we put on our pjs we had Callie's birthday cookie and root beer floats - yummie! Callie opened her gifts and then we painted t-shirts. I had to go to bed after that but Callie and her friends stayed up and talked for awhile.
6/5/2008	Our Kindermusik class started today - it was one that Callie and I can go together becuase it is for 5-8 year olds! It is about the Olympics so we sang our national anthem and did "olympic events" to the anthems of other countries. I was from Greece and Callie was from China. Alisha called while I was there so Mommy arranged a playdate for me once I got done - I even ate lunch over there. Callie and Mommy did some cleaning to get ready for tomorrow and they played LIFE and watched some tv. It rained ALL day so it was a very long afternoon. Then after supper Daddy had darts and apparently that means it is time for a tornado/bad thunderstorm warning because the last three Thursdays that Mommy has been alone with us there have been storms!! We freaked out of course and finally Daddy got home and the warning expired so we could go to bed.
6/4/2008	We went to a puppetshow this morning at the library. It was about bugs and really funny - Callie and I kept looking at each other and giggling! We checked out some books afterwards and then went to Hobby Lobby so Mommy could buy t-shirts for Callie's friends coming to her birthday sleepover Friday night (they are going to paint and decorate them!). We played outside this afternoon and threw water balloons at each other. Mommy made us an early supper because Callie had a long ballet practice today - the recital is next weekend! I fell asleep on the way there so Daddy met us and switched cars (taking me home still sleeping while Mommy ran errands and picked Callie back up). I only was awake for a little bit and then I told Mommy I wanted to just go to bed! Mommy and Callie played a board game (Daddy went out with friends) and then she had to go to bed too.
6/3/2008	Mommy woke up not feeling so well today (hmm I guess that means she had too much fun last night). Callie and I got our own breakfast and got ready because I had zoo camp this morning. Mommy dropped me off and went back home where she rested and played boardgames with Callie. They picked me up at 12 - I had a lot of fun there. We played games, made a giraffe craft, visited the new tiger display and lots of other animals at the zoo too. We also had a snack and got a t-shirt! Mommy had to stop and vote and it has been a long time since I went with so I didn't know how it worked. Afterwards I told Mommy I thought we were going to sit in the church and wait until they asked who wanted to vote for Obama and then raise our hands! We came home so Callie and I could have lunch and play. I fell asleep while watching a tv show so I had a short nap and then Daddy got home and grilled. Mommy and I took Miley to the dog park after that and then it was time to come home for showers and bed.
6/2/2008	We met Andrew,Abby,Matt,& Megan at Cicis for lunch today and then they all came over to play. Andrew has a broken ankle so he and Callie played Wii while Abby and I played other things. Eventually we all ended up outside until it was time for them to go. Callie had her ballet pictures and they were in Brandon! After that Mommy made us supper and then after Daddy got home she met Kim for a night out.
6/1/2008	It was another hot day today. We met Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace for brunch and then we went shopping. We bought a plastic wading pool for Miley - the one we have is inflatable and Mommy was pretty sure Miley would pop it. As soon as we got home we filled it up and let her try it out. She was pretty funny - she just dipped her feet in at first and hopped back out but then she got braver. At the end of the day she was running and jumping in and trying to bite the water. Mommy thinks we should take her to a lake sometime and see if she would like to swim! Callie practiced her bike some more and then Daddy grilled us supper. They tried to get me to try corn on the cob but I refused just like I wouldn't try strawberries or grapes either.
5/31/2008	Happy Birthday Grandpa Robinson! This morning we had to unpack our truck and clean up the house. Mommy told us if we helped we could go to the pool later so we were very good helpers. We also went to Best Buy to look at camera bags and then Mommy thought we should peek in a gift store nextdoor at the webkinz and amzingly there was a racoon there! The racoon has been retired for a LONG time so I think she was more excited than us - ha! She let me buy it and Callie picked out a snake but we had to pay her back when we got home. After lunch we went to the swimming pool - even Daddy came with! The water felt a little cold yet but we got used to it quickly - Mommy and Daddy did not though. We came home and I fell asleep so Daddy and Callie went to rib fest and then after I woke up Mommy and I went to Dairy Queen for supper and dessert.
5/30/2008	We were very excited because today was the Brownies cook-out and finally we had nice weather. Mommy thought we could just camp there too after the girls left but once we got there and saw the campsite Mommy decided it would be better to just leave it as a cook out. It was a great site for that we were right next to the park and the bathrooms so the all the girls could just run around and we all had a great time. Some of the moms stayed and visited and Daddy came out to help with the grill and fire. We had hot dogs, chips, and fruit for supper and later we all had smores. Mommy handed out the cookie awards and then it was time for everyone to go home. Oh and we brought Miley with too and she did pretty good with everyone playing with her. She started barking while we were all eating because Mommy had her tied up far away from us but after that she was good. London brought her new puppy and Ann brought hers too!
5/29/2008	We helped Mommy around the house this morning and then we had playdates after lunch. I had Alisha over and Callie had Lauren over. We had a lot of fun and Mommy got a ton of things done for our Brownies cook-out tomorrow. She took them home around 5 and then we picked up all the cookie awards (they were VERY late coming in so we are handing them out tomorrow). We ate a quick supper back at home and then Daddy went to darts and we got ready for bed. Of course there were storm warnings again (why does it always happen on dart nights??) so Mommy had to calm us down and then we went to bed - in her bed of course.
5/28/2008	Michelle played games with us this morning and then it was time for them to check in at the airport. We peeked at the kitties this morning and there were only two left so I guess the Mommy is moving them to a new place - she didn't like that we found her hiding place. We ate lunch with Michelle and Jon after they dropped off their car and then they had to fly home. I was very sad about it and then we came home to find only one kitty left so I was sad about that too. I was quite tired so I was sad about everything! We played outside since it was finally nice and then Mommy decided to take Miley to the dog park so we met Dena, Adam,and Gillian there. We only played for a little bit when I fell and scraped my knee and elbow up. It was bleeding so I became hysterical and Mommy took me to truck to see if we had band-aids. We only had little circles left so I had to use 5 of them! Then Mommy locked her keys in the truck! Miley was tired out and was done with dog park so Dena took us all home to get an extra set of keys and then took us back to get our truck. We gave Adam his birthday present and then we had to take Callie to ballet. Daddy met us there so Mommy could work at the Obama campaign again and he took us home and made mac-n-cheese. We were sad to find out the kitty was STILL there so Daddy was worried the mommy wasn't coming back to get her. He said we could bring her in for awhile and try to give her some milk but I was SO tired so I fell asleep on the couch while they were talking about it. Daddy carried me up and then he and Callie went and got Kelsy (I named her). They kept her in the bathroom away from the other animals and Callie had a good time trying to take care of her. Mommy came home and played with her for awhile but after Callie went to bed she took the kitty back outside in hopes the mommy would come get her.
5/27/2008	Happy first Birthday Jace!! Michelle and Jon came back from Aberdeen a little after lunch today so we played all afternoon. Jace's party was supposed to be at a park over supper but it was dreary and sprinkling so they decided to postpone the park party and we just met them at Cici's for a birthday supper instead. They came over afterwards and we had cupcakes (Jace got to play with his own little cake) and he opened his gifts from us! Miley helped lick all the cake off his face too - she sure likes Jace.
5/26/2008	Today we had to pack up to go home. We visited Aaron, Alison, and their baby Wyatt for a little bit and then went out to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's for a bit. We helped plant pumpkins and gourds and then came inside to play. Daddy's friend (and Grandpa's neighbor) Chad came over with their dog Scout (Cosmo's sister) and she played with Miley in the garage for awhile. Then it was time to head home. We both fell asleep pretty quickly - Miley did too! Daddy mowed when we got home and we were helping Mommy clean up some bushes when we found baby KITTENS under our house!! I really wanted to keep one and started crying and crying. Mommy took some pictures so I decided I wanted one to put in my room.
5/25/2008	We woke up around 7 and went out for breakfast with Grandma & Grandpa Ivey at the airport cafe! They took us to the cemetary to see Great Grandpa's grave afterwards too. Mommy went out for breakfast with her mom too. Afterwards we all went to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house to play. Miley played with Cosmo in her outside kennel run for awhile but then she escaped! She is quite the escape artist I guess. She even jumped out of Grandpa Ivey's truck window while they were watching her too! We went to Storybook Land and then headed back for supper. I was getting very tired after that so I fell asleep on Mommy's lap. We headed back to Grandma Ivey's and I didn't even wake up when Mommy carried me in to bed.
5/24/2008	We headed to Aberdeen today. Daddy wanted to take the Mazda so Miley got to sit in between us - she did very good! She was very excited to play with Maggie as soon as we got to Grandma & Grandpa Iveys. We visited Great Grandma Ivey before supper and took Miley there too! We went back to Grandma Iveys for supper and Great Grandma & Grandpa Anglin were there and so was Daddy's Aunt Kim and Bob too! We had a tornado warning while we there and we both started crying and getting very scared. Aunt Michelle took us downstairs to play games to make us feel better. Callie and I both slept upstairs (usually Callie does but I always insist on sleeping with Mommy & Daddy instead) - Miley got to sleep with Mommy & Daddy this time!
5/23/2008	We were very excited for Michelle and Jon to wake up so we sat outside the guest bedroom waiting. We ate breakfast and played for awhile and then they had to get ready to go. Uncle Jon ran and got coffee for himself and Mommy and then it was time for them to head to Aberdeen. Callie and I played all afternoon and for the most part got along very well so Mommy worked on her scrapbook. It was a rainy dreary day so we just stayed home and even Miley was pretty lazy! While Callie was showering tonight, Miley just jumped in to join her! And she didn't even want to get back out so I guess she likes showers!
5/22/2008	Callie and I had dentist appointments this morning - as usual I was dreading it but once they called our names I happily walked back with Callie. We didn't have any cavities! We came home to eat lunch and then we had to run some errands with Mommy. We took Miley and since it had been raining all morning Mommy didn't walk her and when it finally stopped we took her to the dog park. There was only one dog there but she was just Miley's size and only a little older so they had great fun. They were both very muddy afterwards so Mommy took Miley straight to the tub when we got home for a long rinse. While she was drying Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jon got here!! We played with them until Daddy got home and then we met Tom, Amber, and Jace at Mama's Ladas for supper. Afterwards we stopped at Daddy's work so he could show them his cool program he is working on (it is for babies that are just born!). We came home and played Wii and Uncle Tom went and got us all ice cream for dessert.
5/21/2008	Mommy took us to the coffee shop this morning and then we went to the library! Callie was very excited to get some new books for summer vacation. We came home to eat lunch and then invited friends over but Callie's friend couldn't come so it was just Alisha. We all three played together for awhile and then Callie played a game with Mommy. After taking Alisha home it was time for Callie's ballet. Daddy met us there (I had fallen asleep in the car) and then Mommy left to work at Obama's headquarters again. After ballet we went to Uncle Tom's to see his new scooter (daddy drove it) and then we all went out for supper at Fudruckers. We didn't get home until 9pm! Callie went to sleep right away but since I had my little nap I stayed up until Mommy got home and STILL couldn't fall asleep. Naps mess me up a LOT and they end up making me more tired in the long run because I stay up so late - it drives Mommy nuts!
5/20/2008	Callie and I played this morning and then after lunch Mommy took us to Dena's house to play. She had a dentist appointment and other errands to do. She picked us up at 4 and then we went home for a quick supper. Tonight was my last soccer game. We headed home to ride our bikes and shower before bed. OH and poor Miley is being attacked by a blackbird every time she goes in the backyard!
5/19/2008	I graduated today!! Daddy took the morning off so he could come to my program too. I sang songs, told everyone what I wanted to be when I grow up (a ballet teacher) and then got my diploma. We had cookies and lemonade afterwards. Mommy took us to buy flowers after lunch and then we planted them - although Miley was already trying to eat them so we aren't sure how long they will live. Callie and I ran through the sprinkler for awhile and then we went with Mommy to take Miley to the dog park. We played at the playground first and then we joined Miley and the other dogs. She had a lot of fun. It was my soccer pizza party so Daddy came home to pick us up after work and we went there.
5/18/2008	Daddy mowed today so Callie and I played outside and after he finished our whole family played croquet! It was a lot of fun and then after that we all played soccer so I could practice stealing the ball. I had soccer pictures today and then I had a game. Mommy decided to bring Miley - she was pretty worn out from playing soccer with us so she was pretty good there. She got kind of excited with the other dogs around but for the most part she sat and watched. Our coach gave us medals afterwards! We came home and grilled supper after that and played outside some more. Daddy and Mommy both got sunburned at the game so they were very sore. We took baths and went to bed early for my program tomorrow!
5/17/2008	Today was really nice but very windy. Callie practiced her bike a little bit and then I had a soccer game. It was SOO windy that my hair was getting in my way so Mommy had to run to the truck to see if she could find a ponytail holder. I played the whole game because we didn't have enough girls to sub out so I was pooped! But I am not as shy when it comes to kicking the ball now. We ran some errands afterwards and I fell asleep in the car so Mommy stayed with me while Daddy and Callie ran into the stores. We stayed up kind of late then playing outside with Miley and riding our scooters.
5/16/2008	It was Callie's last day of school! And mine too except I still have my graduation program on Monday. Daddy went to eat lunch with Callie - they even had a picnic lunch outside! Mommy took me to Camille's after school. She had taken Miley on a long walk at the bike path while I was at school but then we took her on another little walk so I could ride my bike. Mommy wanted to get her really tired out so she wouldn't bother Amber when she came to babysit. Amber and Jace got here at 2 so they could watch me while Mommy picked up Callie from school and they volunteered at the Obama rally! They had to go to a meeting and learn about all the jobs and then they were chosen to help take tickets at the metal detectors. I took Amber on a walk to the park and Alisha was there! Daddy came home after work and then we hung out until bedtime. Mommy & Callie didn't get home until after 9.
5/15/2008	We babysat Alisha this morning so I was very excited for her to show up. We played very well together like usual so Mommy got some things done around the house. We dropped her off at home at lunch because we had plans to eat with Callie at school for the last time this year. Afterwards we came home and I rode my bike around the block while Mommy walked Miley. We went to pick up Callie but first Mommy had to take down the bulletin boards in the hallways and then Callie's teacher saw me and told me I could pick out 5 books from her pile! Callie and the other students had picked some too since the school is getting new ones next year. Once we got home we were very busy reading to our imaginary students!! Mommy made tacos for supper, we took our showers and after Daddy left for darts Mommy decided to treat us to a bedtime snack at Barnes & Noble. They have GREAT cookies there so we each picked out one (in our pjs!) and had a great end of the school year snack.
5/14/2008	Today we went to a nursing home in a small town near us to sing our graduation songs. We had a snack there too. Callie had her track and field morning at her school so she was very excited for that. And finally it was nice out so they had a good time. I came home and ate lunch with Mommy and then I went to Alisha's to play. I came home at 4 so I had time to play with Callie outside before it was time for ballet. Mommy fed us an early supper and Daddy was able to pick us up from home so Mommy could go work at the Obama Campaign office. I keep telling her that I want the girl (Hillary) to win and Obama can just take his turn later but she won't listen to me. Daddy took us out for ice cream after ballet and then we came home to play until bedtime.
5/13/2008	Mommy cleaned the house today and I played. It was very cold out but we still had my soccer game. After we got there Daddy decided he should run home to get my mittens and hat. Mommy & Callie were covered in a big blanket to keep warm but when he got back I told him the hat was for WINTER and it isn't winter but I did take the mittens. After we got home we took hot showers to get warm!
5/12/2008	We practiced our program again today and next time we get to go to a nursing home to practice it! Mommy helped in Callie's math class for the last time this year but she didn't stay for lunch since Daddy has lots of work to do this week and he needed to get right back after picking me up. Uncle Tom and Amber dropped off Jace after Mommy and I got home so we could babysit while they went house shopping! He was sure fun. He came with us to pick up Callie and then she played with him too. After they picked him up Daddy came home and grilled supper. I had a tummy ache after that (plus Mommy knew I was super tired since it is so hard to go to bed lately)and Mommy wasn't feeling very well either so we laid down together in her bed and I fell fast asleep and slept through the night, even while Mommy carried me to my room.
5/11/2008	Happy Mother's Day! Callie was very excited so she woke up at 6:30 and was dressed and everything. She tried to let Mommy sleep but I don't think it was working too well. Daddy went downstairs to take care of Miley and as soon as I woke up we got everything ready and had Mommy come downstairs. We got her coffee and donuts and we gave her cards and pictures. I had given her my school present yesterday - it was a potholder with a picture of me and her on it! Today we gave her a cooler that plugs in for camping so you don't need ice! And a coffee gift card too. And then since Daddy knew Mommy was going to use her rummage money to buy the zoom lens for her new camera he went and bought it early so she could have it right away! We played in the yard today while Daddy mowed and then Callie worked hard on riding her bike without training wheels. Daddy grilled us supper - steak and Callie picked out watermelon too. It was a fun day!
5/10/2008	It was raining again today so my soccer game was cancelled. The rummage sale also didn't do very well but Mommy stuck it out until 1 when she said she would close. I didn't know what she meant and when she said she put it in the newspaper I asked if she just wrote it on a note or something and stuck it in people's papers. Dena and Brad came over to help pack up everything while us kids played the Wii. We took Mommy out for supper for an early Mother's Day celebration and then Mommy tried to get us to bed early because we were tired but it didn't work too well.
5/9/2008	We picked up Alisha for school because her mom was having a rummage sale too! It is Mrs. LuAnn's birthday tomorrow and Mommy totally forgot so we stopped at Walgreens on the way to school but then she didn't have her purse either (ughh!). Finally I looked through a coloring book in the truck and found a picture I had colored so I wrote her name on it and just gave her that. Phew! After school Alisha's mom picked us up and we went to her house to play. Adam got bored at our house so he and Dena went home for awhile - the sale wasn't too busy today. Dena picked up Callie from school today and then drove to Gillian's school and picked her up too. I came home after that so I could play with everyone and we had lots of fun together. Mommy walked Miley while Dena watched the sale but she was still pretty tired from yesterday so she actually did very good today. We ordered pizza, Brad came over, and then after the sale closed we played the Wii! I was getting very tired and crabby so I finally went to bed about 8:30.
5/8/2008	Our rummage sale started this morning. As soon as Mommy opened the garage door she had tons of people trying to get in and she was trying to pull things on the driveway so it was a mess. She sold almost all of her big things right away so she was happy. Dena and Adam came over to help too. It kept getting colder as the day went on so Adam and I played inside mostly. He had to go to preschool and then Dena went to pick him and Gillian up from school. Callie's friend's dad brought Callie home and then we all played until 5 when they headed home. Mommy was frozen so she closed the doors early and said we will try again tomorrow. OH and Miley went to Doggy Daycare today - her first time and we think she loved it. She played hard they said and she was very very tired when she got home!
5/7/2008	I had Alisha over again today after school and she came with to pick up Callie. Callie tried to invite someone over after school too but she didn't have any luck - she is feeling pretty sad that I get so many more playdates than her. Callie had ballet tonight and Daddy met us there so he could take me to soccer practice! Callie and Mommy took Miley on a walk after ballet and we got home about the same time they did. Dena came over at bedtime to help Mommy set up for our rummage sale and of course I didn't want to go to sleep then so I stayed out and watched for awhile.
5/6/2008	I don't know if I told you but awhile ago Mommy bought a tower perch for the cats and put it in her bedroom so they could see out the window. She has been feeling bad that they don't come out much anymore. Then she put a bird feeder on the side of our yard (in front of her bedroom window) and today finally we had five yellow finches eating out of it! The cats were very excited. We also saw a pair of cardinals in our backyard too! I had Alisha over today but after an hour of playing she said she had a bad tummy ache and wanted to go home so Mommy and I ran her home. I was VERY upset about this and although Mommy kept telling me I should think about how Alisha was feeling I only could think of how she said she wanted to play at my house and now she changed her mind and it wasn't fair! I helped Mommy in the garage (by telling her I didn't want her to sell most of the things she was trying to mark)!
5/5/2008	We talked about mothers today in preschool. Callie had her all-school picture today so she had to wear yellow (each grade wears a different color) and when Mommy got there to help they were all outside getting arranged for the picture so Mommy watched. It was quite the process! I drove the jeep around the block this afternoon while Mommy and Miley walked behind me - I am a super good driver now. Today was Callie's Brownies Awards ceremony. Daddy even came this year. We had cupcakes and cookies too - yummy! Daddy had the rest of the afternoon off so we came home and rode bikes again and then he grilled shrimp kabobs. I wanted a hot dog instead but then I fell asleep before even eating any of it. Mommy carried me to bed and I slept all night long.
5/4/2008	Daddy got up with Miley this morning so Mommy could sleep in. She had to work on her awards ceremony things today and make cupcakes so she would be ready for tomorrow. It was a beautiful day! Callie rode her bike more - she is doing very good! I was crabby so Mommy got me to sleep around 1:30 so I would be rested for my 3:00 soccer game but then the coach called and said it was at 2 instead. Well there was no way she could wake me up so I missed it. We played outside more and Daddy made us macaroni so we could eat outside!
5/3/2008	We played with Grandma and Grandpa this morning and then ate sandwiches for lunch. Julia's soccer game was cancelled so we decided to go shopping instead. Daddy and Grandpa went to Sam's and then Mommy called them and had them pick us up because we were tired of shopping. We went home and played more Wii. Grandma & Grandpa left before supper so we played outside a bit - Callie practiced riding her bike without training wheels. We also went to the mall to get my new patch!
5/2/2008	We made Daddy an early Father's Day gift today in preschool. After Mommy picked me up we stopped at the grocery store quick and while we were in there Miley wrecked/ate my gift!! I was very upset so Mommy drove back to preschool to ask my teachers if they could tell her how to recreate the gift and they were nice enough to give her all the supplies she needed so we went home and did it again. Grandma & Grandpa Robinson got into town just before Callie got home from school so we spent the afternoon drawing and playing. They brought me my birthday gifts and one of them was a NEW bench! I asked if they got it out of someone's yard of if they bought it new - I guess they bought it new because we still don't know who stole my other one! We met Daddy at Red Lobster for supper and then it was time for Callie's art show! We showed Grandma & Grandpa the new library and gym and Callie's art picture of course. They had a book fair in the gym so Grandma bought Callie a book but I begged for a stuffed puppy so she got that for me instead of a book. Then we ice cream in the lunch room and the principal even talked to me - she knew I was Miss Ivey but couldn't remember my first name. Kindergarten is sure going to be easy for me since lots of people already know me at the school and I know my way around too! We came home after that and showed Grandma & Grandpa how to play MarioCart and Guitar Hero!
5/1/2008	Happy May Day! Mommy was disappointed today because she had plans for Miley to go to the doggie daycare - she was even MORE upset when Alisha called and invited me over at 9:30 in the morning.She could have had the house all to herself. BUT Miley threw up a few times this morning (It appeared she had eaten a plastic bone) So instead Mommy fretted over her all morning and by afternoon she was just fine and driving Mommy nuts again. Callie really wanted to make May Day baskets when Mommy picked her up from school so they went home and made some out of coffee filters and paper handles. Mommy popped popcorn and made cookies to fill them and then they delivered them to friends around the area before picking me up. I made some with Alisha too and told Mommy we put them on the neighbor's steps and rang the doorbell and ran away! After Daddy left for darts the the TORNADO sirens went off. We were very scared! Callie was just getting into the shower and Mommy told her to grab her clothes and we would go downstairs. Well I thought she meant we needed lots of clothes so I ran to my room and grabbed a handful of clothes out of my drawers to bring with! Callie had to grab her stuffed animals and special books that she didn't want to "blow away". We were both bawling in the basement and Mommy was just not sure how to handle it all. She tried to explain that most tornadoes just stay in the sky and don't come down but we just have to be careful but we were still scared. Finally it was over but the watch was until 11 (Callie heard that on the radio) so we insisted we had to sleep in Mommy's room. She laid with us so we would go to sleep faster and then they carried us to our rooms when Daddy got home. However Callie woke up scared and ended up sleeping on the floor of their room the rest of the night.
4/30/2008	Miley is five months old today and Mommy took her to the vet to get weighed and she is 28lbs! We had high school students come to our class today to help us with a craft (May Day baskets) and they played games with us in gym too! After lunch Mommy took me to the toy store because I had a Toys R Us coupon and some birthday money to spend. Guess what I bought? A barbie of course. Mommy tried to talk me into buying something else since she thinks I already have too many barbies but I just love barbies and a girl can never have too many! We picked up Callie after that and we played barbies together and went outside too since it was so nice out. She had ballet and practiced for her recital - it is getting closer so soon they have to start practicing with the other classes!
4/29/2008	We had Adam & Dena over this morning to play. After lunch Alisha called to ask me over again but I wanted her to come here instead so her Mommy brought her over. We played barbies and then had to go with Mommy to pick up Callie and Lauren. We came back home for ice cream cones. Mommy was trying to go through tubs of clothes for our rummage sale but Miley kept sticking her head in the tub and running away with clothes so Mommy finally gave up. After our friends went home we had to eat an early supper because I had a soccer game. I actually played this time and Mommy & Daddy were quite proud of me. I was much more confident and ran around with the kids, even kicking the ball sometimes! Alisha scored quite a few goals for our team so we did pretty good. We stopped at home to get Miley and went out for ice cream to celebrate - Miley even got her first doggy sundae (it had two dog biscuits in it!). She LOVED it and when she finished hers she was even content to lay and watch us eat ours.
4/28/2008	Today we talked about dad's in preschool and practiced our program of course. Mommy played her Discovery Toys Time game again in Callie's class - the kids really love that! After lunch Alisha asked me to come over and play so I didn't go to the Brownies meeting today. They made Sit-Upons! It was their last regular meeting - next week is their awards ceremony. Mommy made a quick supper for us because she went to Brandon for a scrapbook party at Kim's neighbors.
4/27/2008	We went out for brunch this morning and then did some shopping. Daddy just had to buy the new Wii game that came out today - MarioCart, it even came with a steering wheel. So I am sure you can guess what we did when we came home! Uncle Tom came over to play it too and then we grilled with him too. Amber and Jace were out of town so they didn't come.
4/25/2008	I didn't have preschool today and Mommy was busy all morning working on Girl Scout cookie things so I was very bored. I tried calling Alisha but she wasn't home and it was SNOWING so it was not a fun day. Finally we picked up Callie so I had someone to play with. Mommy took us to Daddy's work at 5 so we could go with him to his haircut and Callie could deliver cookies and Mommy went home to walk Miley. Then we decided to go to the circus! Mommy met us there and we were so excited - especially Callie! At intermission Daddy bought us girls tickets to ride the elephant (Mommy too!). I was pretty nervous but Callie loved it. It was late when we got home so we went right to bed.
4/24/2008	It was my last day of swimming lessons and I passed my level!! I told Mommy I didn't want to go back though. We went to the coffee shop afterwards so I could have a muffin and Mommy had coffee. She had work to do at Callie's school after that so I took a notebook and drew pictures in the new library while she made copies and did her work - I am very good at keeping myself occupied. It started pouring while we were there and the librarian was joking about finding out if the new roof leaked but I took it very seriously. After we got home I kept asking if our roof was going to leak and I was quite nervous about it. It thundered and there was lightning but Mommy is happy to report that Miley didn't seem to care. All of the Brownies parents were coming by tonight to drop off cookie money and Mommy was busy counting it so Daddy helped us get ready for bed. Of course Miley felt it necessary to run and "greet" everyone so I think Mommy was getting a little frustrated with her!
4/23/2008	Today we had to take a Zoo animal to preschool. We introduced them to everyone and then we took them to the gym with us and brought "food and water" too! Mommy came home and made me a quick sandwich and then she went back outside to finish cleaning the garage. I ate outside and then drove the jeep around and played until it was time to get Callie. Callie had ballet tonight and I had soccer so Daddy picked me up at ballet and took me (I do better at things when Mommy isn't there). It was just practice tonight and we played lots of different games with our balls to practice running and kicking. Daddy took Alisha home and then we went home to meet up with Mommy & Callie. Daddy switched my bell and horn from my little bike to Callie's old bike and he unhooked the little kid's seat from Mommy's bike too because she is getting ready to sell all those things at our rummage sale!
4/22/2008	I had swimming this morning and Daddy came to watch! I dunked, floated, and did all sorts of things for him to see. Afterwards I went shopping with Mommy and we went to eat lunch at Granite City. We saw Uncle Tom (and he even treated us to lunch!!)and then we came home to play with Miley. After picking up Callie we headed to Gillian and Adam's house to deliver cookies and play. It was really nice outside so we played in their yard and headed home for supper. We ate supper in the yard - even Mommy & Daddy brought out their food and then Mommy headed to a PTA meeting. Callie & I had fun playing house with the jeep and our play dishes while Mily hung out in yard with us too. Daddy came out after awhile and helped Callie ride her bike and then we had to shower. Miley still wanted to stay outside! Daddy got us to bed just before Mommy came home and we were so tired we had already fallen asleep. Then Daddy left for darts (they can't play on Thursday so they played tonight instead).
4/21/2008	Happy Birthday Aunt Bridget! I learned about the letter Z today. After lunch Alisha called and asked me over so I went to play. Mommy picked up Callie and delivered cookies and went shopping. After supper, Daddy helped Callie on her bike and I drove the jeep around. I love doing cookies and wiping out. I even ran into the tree on purpose which I thought was hilarious but Mommy said I better not do that anymore. We came inside and I got ready for bed but Callie got to go out and deliver more cookies with Daddy.
4/20/2008	Of course we didn't sleep in this morning - Mommy never understands why we wake up so early on weekends but then on Monday mornings we are so tired. Mommy was disappointed it wasn't nearly as nice as yesterday and she had so much outside stuff to do. She raked all the leaves (of course they kept blowing away) and Daddy mowed. She started cleaning the garage but then we decided to go run errands instead. Callie wanted her new bike! Mommy said she could get it for an early birthday gift and so we went to the store and she picked one out. It doesn't have training wheels but she is excited to try it out (it was too windy though tonight). I fell asleep on the way home (around 5:30) and I slept through the night!
4/19/2008	Grandma Ivey came over this morning after she picked up Maggie from the doggie motel. Maggie and Miley played outside for a long time. I had a soccer game at 2 but I was really tired and after doing the drills I didn't want to play in the game unless Mommy was going to be right next to me. I started crying and everything. Two other girls didn't want to play either so our team ended up being short kids and they had to convert the other team for awhile! We came home and Grandpa was done with his meetings so he and Grandma came back over. Maggie and Miley played again although you could tell they were getting tired out! We went out for an early supper and I was so tired I fell asleep during the meal. I kept asking Mommy if I could go to bed yet so she let me sit on her lap and sure enough I crashed. We came back home and then I woke up to watch Grandma play Guitar Hero with Callie and then say good bye to Grandma & Grandpa before they headed home.
4/18/2008	We took Alisha to school again today. I took my yellow chick for show-n-tell. OH and we have baby chicks and baby ducks at our preschool that have hatched and our getting pretty big already! I also forgot to tell you that yesterday Callie took her birthday snack to school. She took M&Ms because then the teacher lets you be in charge of math and use the candies to do problems with. She also took pencils because Mommy noticed on Monday that everyone's pencils looked small with no erasers on them (one girl was crying because she didn't have an eraser left so that made Mommy feel sad so she just had to get new ones for everyone). Callie told Mommy that almost everyone thanked her over and over for them! Mommy picked up me and Alisha and took us to McDonalds to eat lunch and play at the playland. We had a great time and then she came over to our house to play village with me. We dropped her off on the way to get Callie and then we went to Grandma's motel to go swimming with her! Jace and Amber came over too! Daddy met us and then it was time to come home for supper and bed.
4/17/2008	I didn't want to go to swimming again today - I am always afraid the teacher is going to let go of me. We went though and I did great like usual, however our lessons were cut short because someone had an "accident" so they had to clean the pool. We went to the breadstore and did some shopping afterwards and when we got home there was a message from Alisha wanting a playdate! I ate lunch and then Mommy & Miley walked while I scootered over there. Mommy picked up Callie from school but I wasn't ready to go home yet so Callie had Ann over to play. She went home at 5, Mommy picked me up, Daddy brought home subs, and we quick got ready for my FIRST soccer game! Of course I got nervous and wasn't sure I wanted to go anymore, the shinguards were bothering me, I didn't like my pants - you get the idea. Finally we got there and then we did warm up drills but I had to have Mommy right next to me the whole time. Our team split up so we could play 3-3 but we only had one coach so our 1/2 didn't have anyone helping us and of course we had no clue what we were doing. Alisha's mom and big sister finally helped us. I didn't ever want to kick off but I did run back and forth. It was very very cold out but still Mommy thought it was fun to see how it all worked. Grandma Ivey came for awhile with Jace and Daddy was able to see a little bit too before he had to leave for darts. Grandma & Grandpa Ivey came over for a bedtime snack and then they headed back to their motel.
4/16/2008	We Yodeled today and had yogurt for a snack and painted with yellow paint! We also practiced for our graduation program. Mommy picked both Alisha and me up because Alisha's mom is having a rummage sale. I asked if she could eat lunch with us and our Mommies agreed to that. We ate and played for only a little bit because then we had to drop her off and pick up Callie at 1pm! She had a short day today. It was Wonderful Wednesday and they have different activities to do (in second grade they get to start picking what they want - the last two years the teachers picked for them). Callie went swimming at the college where I have swimming lessons and she went to a hip hop class with her ballet teacher! She was really excited that Jen was going to be at her school. We played outside while Mommy cleaned and then it was time to go to ballet. Daddy was going to meet us at ballet but he was late at a client's office so he met us at home after we ate supper. He took me to get my NEW glasses and Mommy & Callie went to the store to get M&Ms and pencils for Callie's birthday treat (she is celebrating at school tomorrow).
4/15/2008	Mommy & I took Callie to school this morning because Daddy had an early meeting. I had swimming and then we went shopping for awhile until it was time to meet Daddy at the fix-it shop. We took him back to work and then went home to play with Miley. We brought her with to pick up Callie and found out that Walgreens pharmacy drive-thru gives dog biscuits out too! Boy she sure is lucky! Callie and I both had eye appts this afternoon and our eyes have both stayed the same. My glasses weren't fitting as well though so Daddy said I could get new ones! I picked red ones this time but they won't be done until tomorrow. Mommy and Callie took Miley on a long walk tonight (well Callie scootered) - they went all the way to Ann's house and stopped to say hi. Mommy keeps trying to get us to bed early because we are both cranky and tired but for some reason she just can't seem to manage it so it was 8 for me again and 8:30 for Callie - I don't think she was very happy about that!
4/14/2008	We learned about the letter Y today. Mommy forgot but I had school pictures today and since my hair was still wet from my bath this morning she is curious as to what they will look like. Daddy picked me up from school and made me lunch. I rode my bike while Mommy walked Miley when she got home but it was windy and still chilly out so we didn't go very far. It was Brownies today and we had the meeting in the NEW library! We made family time capsules. Mommy took us to Daddy's work afterwards so Callie could deliver cookies and I stayed and helped too! I remembered to be very quiet this time and I drew on Daddy's white board. Mommy went home to walk Miley again and then she started supper so we could eat right when we got home. Then Callie & Mommy delivered the neighbor's cookies before bedtime.
4/13/2008	It was sunny out for once so Daddy thought it would be fun to take Miley to Falls Park. We went there after lunch but it ended up being chilly - much colder than it looked. Miley thought it was quite fun though and she wasn't scared of the big bridge or the loud waterfall sound! She wanted to chase every bird that moved though. Afterwards we went to Best Buy so Mommy & Daddy could look at a new camera - Miley stayed in the car of course. We headed home after that and Jackie came over to give me a gift and then we played until supper.
4/12/2008	Today was my party! I was supposed to have a soccer game this morning but it was cancelled (because of the snow) so we all went to pick up my cake and balloons. After lunch we went to the community center to decorate! My friends came at 2 and we played duck duck goose (but I called it Miley Miley Hannah) and hullabalo. Then I wanted to eat so we had our cupcakes (it was frosted to look like a cake but they were really cupcakes!). Callie had to leave after that to go to her friend's birthday party so Brad was nice enough to take her. We danced and sang into our microphones after that, played Who's Got the Button, and musical chairs. I opened my gifts and then we played with our balloons and popped them after that! The kids went home at 4 and I was tired! Mommy & Daddy cleaned up quickly and we headed to get Callie from her party - I fell fast asleep on the way there. Callie's party was at the pavilion and she made bath salts and lip balm there! At home I slept for awhile longer and then I got up to play with my new toys! I had a fun day.
4/11/2008	Happy Birthday to Me!! I was very excited to find out I am really five years old now. Mommy had balloons and a sign up for me with pretty birthday napkins and donuts for breakfast. She had told me I could open one gift in the morning and the rest at supper time so before I even got out of bed I asked her where my gift was! It was a puzzle and then Callie decided she wanted to give me her gift too - it was a Penguin Lil'kinz! Mommy was so involved in my birthday things that when she sent Callie off to school she never realized that Callie didn't have snowpants, boots, or a hat and of course it had snowed yesterday. So after dropping me off at school she ran those things to Callie. I took cookies for my birthday treat and I got to pick out of the birthday basket (I have been talking about this for over a week now!). I picked a stuffed weiner dog named Weinie! Mommy made cupcakes while I was at school and I helped frost them when I got home. We picked up Callie's girl scout cookies and then picked up Callie. I was getting very anxious for Daddy to get home so I could unwrap my gifts. Mommy called him and he decided to leave at 4. Of course as soon as he was in the door I opened my presents in about three minutes. I said something nice about each thing and then tossed it to the side to open the next one! I got Coconut, the American Girl dog - which I have been wanting forever! I also got lots of Hannah Montana things and new leapster games. We invited Amber and Jace over for cupcakes and then it was time for bed.
4/10/2008	I was pretty tired this morning and I cried about going to swimming - I am tired of it I told Mommy. But she told me I had to go anyway and that it would be over quick and we would have the day to do something else. So I went and did a great job again. Afterwards Alisha called so I went over to her house again. I don't like eating there - her mom even makes my favorite foods like mac-n-cheese or peanut butter sandwiches but I am just very particular about how everything is done so I asked Mommy if she would just PLEASE pack my lunch so she finally gave in and did it. Thankfully Alisha's Mom thinks I am funny and she wasn't offended at all. Mommy picked up Callie from school and then they came to get me. It was yucky and rained/snowed all day and it might get worse by tomorrow. Daddy thought maybe we should do our birthday supper tonight just in case we don't want to go out tomorrow so we did! I chose Gigglebees and we had a lot of fun there!
4/9/2008	I forgot to tell you that yesterday Mommy made me my peanut butter sandwich while I was coloring on the kitchen table so I sat it to the side of my book. Well when Mommy came back with my milk, my sandwich was GONE! Silly Miley had swiped it and ate it all gone before Mommy could even get to her. Callie had ballet tonight so Mommy dropped her off and Daddy picked her up. Mommy and I made supper and it was all ready when they got back. I am getting so excited for my birthday - I keep asking Mommy how many days are left! And everytime Mommy says something like "wow you are getting heavy" as she tries to lift me or "your pants are getting short", I tell her: "That is because I am ALMOST five!"
4/8/2008	I dunked my face in swimming today! And I jumped in the pool without holdling my teachers hands (she still caught me of course). Today was Callie's program - she was pretty nervous and I think Mommy was too! She was little Miss Muffet -their program was called Goin Buggy and most everyone was bugs. They sang lots of songs and then groups of people came up on the stage to talk and different times. When Callie came up she had to chase the spider with a flyswatter and then talk about the spider making her go EEEEEK! She did great! We went to the matinee where they performed for all the other grades and then it was time for Daniel's birthday party. It was at his house and most of my preschool friends were there so we had lots of fun. Mommy and Callie came back to pick me up and we met Daddy back at home for subs. Then it was time for Callie's evening performance! Mommy is so glad so recorded the afternoon one because it was crowded and hard to see tonight. Afterwards Daddy wanted to take Callie out to celebrate and she picked Cold Stone so we all went there. It was a late night by the time we got home and in bed.
4/7/2008	We started talking about X today. Daddy picked me up from school as usual but this time Mommy was home already. She helped Callie's class but didn't stay for lunch - she came home to take Miley on a long walk since we were going to be gone a lot today. She had a hair appointment at 1, then we ran errands, picked up Callie, then both Callie and I had hair appointments after that. What a busy day!
4/6/2008	Daddy had Eric over last night after we were in bed and they played Guitar Hero until 4am!! SOOO he didn't get up for a very long time today and when he did, he just moved to the couch. Mommy played a game with us, we played school, and then she took us shopping for new spring clothes! Callie got a tennis outfit and new shoes and I got a new swimsuit and two pairs of new shoes! We went out for supper after that and then we came home for showers and bedtime. Oh and Mommy found one of Miley's baby teeth on the floor!

4/5/2008	Mommy & Callie went shopping this morning so she could get Kathryn a birthday gift and start looking for her Little Miss Muffet outfit. Our Doodlebops concert started at 1:30! I was excited but Callie decided she was too old and really didn't want to go that much. She watched part of it and then she and Daddy left early so she could get to the birthday party. It was at Color Me Mine and Callie picked a dog to paint - she said she did it to look like Miley. After Daddy brought her home we all took Miley to the dog park. There were LOTS of dogs there and Mommy decided it was a little too stressful. Daddy said it was a big "hump-fest" (whatever that means) and Mommy wasn't sure if people were getting annoyed with how hyper Miley was. She kept trying to tumble with and chase all the dogs. We left and Miley was super dusty from rolling around in the dirt so she had to go straight to the bathtub when we got home. The water was black when she was done! We played for awhile and then it was time for supper and bed.
4/4/2008	It was Western Day today and at first I didn't want to wear my cowgirl boots (any other day I wear them) but I finally decided I would. We had a rodeo in the gym! Mommy and I went shopping afterwards to get a Hannah Montana poster for my birthday party and then we went to get Callie. I had Alisha over after that and Callie had Lauren. We played barbies and webkinz but they played outside. They went home at supper time and Daddy grilled kabobs (a hot dog for me though)and then we all took Miley for a walk. Well I rode my bike and Callie rode her scooter - it was sure nice to have a warm day/evening for once!
4/3/2008	I had swimming again this morning and I had fun - it is much better when not as many people are around! Mommy and I went shopping afterwards and then we came home to play with Miley. After we picked up Callie we took Miley on a walk to the park - Callie's friend was playing there so we joined in. We came home in time to get ready for Kindergarten Registration! We met Daddy at the school and Mommy filled out the papers in the NEW library. Mrs. Hartmann (the principal) came over to talk to me and Callie and to thank Mommy for all her help with the library move. Then we toured all three of the kindergarten classrooms. They all have play kitchens so I was pretty excited but I really hope I am in the same class as Alisha.
4/2/2008	We had a field trip to the Washington Pavilion today! It was fun playing there with all my friends. Callie had ballet today but Jen was sick so two of her older students came in to sub.
4/1/2008	I started swimming lessons today! There were only two other kids in my class so I spent a lot of time with the teacher. I liked it all a lot better this year so Mommy is very happy. Alisha called Mommy's cell while I was swimming and asked if I could come over so she dropped me off afterwards and I stayed until 2:30. Then Mommy had to work in the library (unpacking this time) so Callie and I stayed in the music room with some other kids and a babysitter until 4:30. We went home and played outside because it was pretty nice out today.
3/31/2008	We woke up to lots of snow today. My teacher called at 8:30 and told Mommy they decided to close even though Callie's school didn't so I stayed home! Of course Mommy was supposed to help at Callie's school but luckily Daddy said he could come home and watch me (and snowblow) while left. I played outside for awhile too and we let Miley run around - she had lots of fun chasing snowballs that Daddy and I threw for her! Today was Callie's Brownies field trip to Color Me Mine, a painting studio. I even got to paint too! We all painted a birthday plate - it sure was fun.
3/30/2008	We went bowling today! There were lots of other kids there so there weren't any ramps left which meant we had to roll our own balls down the lanes but we did really good! We had a few snacks there and then we came home and played outside with Miley. Daddy gave us baths and we were in our pjs so we would be all done with that when Mommy got home. Uncle Tom came over and ate supper with us and then FINALLY Mommy came home! We were very excited to see her and I insisted she had to play with me right away so we played Pet Shop for awhile and then it was our bedtime. I told Mommy I was really glad she was home because I missed her LOTS.
3/29/2008	We played Wii this morning. Callie is getting really good at Guitar Hero! We had to go shopping at Sam's Club of course and then we played around at home. Daddy took us to Chuck E Cheese for supper and we drew Mommy lots of pictures to give her when she gets home tomorrow. We talked to her on the phone twice today!
3/28/2008	I took a cucumber for my vegetable today. We had all kinds of veggies for our snack but of course I didn't try any of them. I asked Mommy today if she changed her mind yet about going on a trip with Kim but she said no. We picked up Callie from school and Mommy dropped us off at Dena's so she could leave town. She was pretty surprised that we didn't cry or get sad - we went off to play with Gillian & Adam. Daddy picked us up after work and we picked up Burger King on the way home. We ate and played with Miley and then Daddy took us to Family Fun Night! Miley had jumped the gate when we got home so there were stuffed animals everywhere AND she had totally eaten/destroyed a wicker basket too. We called Mommy and told her good night before bed.
3/27/2008	Kim called Mommy today and asked her to go on a trip. They are leaving tomorrow for a scrapbooking retreat in Minnesota! After Callie got out of school Mommy walked us to her music room because there was a babysitter in there for us and some other kids. Mommy was helping pack up all the libary's books to move into Callie's NEW library. We had fun drawing pictures and playing with the musical instruments. We get to come back on Tuesday when Mommy helps unpack all the boxes.
3/26/2008	I had school today - we learned about the letter V. Mommy picked up me and Alisha and brought us home for lunch. She stayed and played and even came with to pick up Callie! Her mom picked her up around 4. We had a lot of fun but I was pretty tired out when she left. Daddy met us at ballet and picked me up so we could come back home and she had brought Miley so she could take her on a walk while Callie was in class. They walked all the way to Dena's house and stopped and said hi. Miley did pretty good too - she sat at every curb and didn't pull on her leash too much, mostly when she saw another dog.
3/25/2008	I didn't have a fever today - yippee! Mommy let me play at Alisha's house after lunch while she took Miley on a walk and then went shopping. She picked up Callie from school first (she hadn't been to school since March 14th!) and then me. Daddy took us to Qdoba because Mommy and Miley had their last day of puppy kindergarten. Miley really came a long way in being brave on all the equipment but she sure hasn't changed in her manners - ha! She just wants to pull Mommy all over the place to go play with all those other puppies (who are all sitting so nicely by their owners). OH and the last two days Skittles has been coming out a lot more so we are very happy about that!!
3/24/2008	I still had a little fever today so we mostly stayed home and rested. Mommy got me to nap and then she went shopping for the afternoon. We met her for supper and then we went to Soccer World so I could buy soccer shoes and shin guards! I am getting pretty excited to start playing.
3/23/2008	Happy Easter! Callie woke up at 3am she was so excited and then at 3:30 she came back in Mommy's room and said she just couldn't fall asleep. Then she was awake for the day at 6:30 but she had to wait until 7 when I woke up to hunt for the eggs! We found them all over the place and kites were on our little table and our baskets were in the guest bedroom. We each got a purse, computer game, books, jump rope, socks, and a chocolate bunny of course! We played with our new things while Mommy made us a big breakfast and then we played Wii with Daddy (he told us it was Wiister - ha!)until Mommy made us a late ham lunch (of course I only ate a bun since I don't like ham or corn or any of that stuff). Then we went to Horten Hears A Who! Mommy took Miley on a walk after that and then it was time for bed.
3/22/2008	I still had a fever when I woke up but once I took tylenol I had a great time playing with Callie. We played barbies while Mommy cleaned our house - she said it needed to be clean before the Easter Bunny came! I took a nap after Daddy made us lunch and then finally it was time to go to the Roller Dollz! We ate supper there since it was only General Admission and we didn't want to get there too late. We found good seats and it was fun to watch all the girls. It was kind of confusing for Callie and I to follow so we just watched the ones who got pushed down and those that had to go in the penalty box (Mommy told me this was a time-out). We did leave early because Callie and I were both getting tired and we were anxious to set our Easter baskets out and leave some carrots for the bunny!! I was concerned about the water because if it's a fake bunny, he will need a cup but if he's a real bunny (i.e. like those in the back yard) we should leave a bowl so Mommy put water in the bowl of carrots and put out a glass so either way he can get a drink!
3/21/2008	No School today! Mommy did stop and get some of Callie's work yesterday so she worked on some of that today. It was Abby's birthday party but I was still sick so I had to stay home. Callie went but she didn't have a lot of energy to do all the dancing and singing the other girls were doing. Mommy and I went to pick her up and took Miley so Kim could meet her and then we came home. I fell asleep on the way and Mommy convinced Callie to nap too so we both got in two hour naps. Daddy wanted to try and take Miley with and eat at Sonic but Mommy thought that he was crazy! So she made noodles instead. Even though we napped Mommy convinced us to go to bed kind of early so we could try and get better for tomorrow - we have tickets for the Roller Dollz!
3/20/2008	I woke up last night with a really bad cough and it hurt so much to cough that I cried every time. Mommy and I were up for quite awhile until I finally calmed down and went back to sleep. Mommy decided to keep Callie home again just to make sure she is really better. During the day I felt fine - only a few coughs - but I did have a fever. Callie and I went outside for a little bit to help Mommy play with Miley but otherwise we mostly watched tv. Mommy went shopping after supper (I think she needed to get away from the house for awhile!) so Daddy put us to bed.
3/19/2008	I still felt just fine today and insisted I wasn't sick. Mommy wasn't sure if she should send me but since I didn't have a fever and didn't have one yesterday either she figured I could. I am glad because we did Easter stuff today - the bunny hop, made an Easter snack and sang songs. Callie stayed home again - she just doesn't feel that great yet. Mostly cold type symptoms but before bed she had a small fever again. Around 3 Alisha called to see if I could go there again so Mommy ran me over. We played webkinz - of course we had to talk on the phone first to plan which animals I should bring over. For some reason Mommy sure gets a kick out of me chatting away on the phone. At one point I said "NOOO I can't bring that one because it has the stuffed animal flu!" And then another one of mine was doing homework! Mommy got us both to bed early tonight but she is doubting that Callie will go again tomorrow - at least not in the morning.
3/18/2008	Happy Birthday Uncle Tom! Callie stayed home again today - she still isn't feeling very good. I woke up and insisted I wasn't sick - I had no idea what Mommy was talking about. And Mommy was confused because I didn't have a fever all day nor did I seem sick in any other way. Mommy got all the cookie orders today and WOW the troop did very well. Over 1900 cookies total with 11 girls selling. Daddy brought supper home tonight and then Mommy left for Puppy class. Miley did very good tonight-she even went over the teeter totter! She usually is very scared of that one and refuses to go up it. When Mommy got home we were both asleep so she and Daddy had a guitar hero concert because Daddy 'had' to go buy another guitar so they could play together! Just so we are clear she thinks he is crazy but she does enjoy the game. She also beat him at her golf game again!!!
3/17/2008	Happy St. Patrick's Day! I was excited for school because afterwards I went to Alisha's house. Her mom took me home and we ate lunch and played all afternoon. Mommy and Callie stayed home since she was sick but they drew fashion designs, played Monopoly (Mommy taught Callie how to play the adult version instead of the Jr. version), and played Wii. Mommy picked me up at 4:30 - what a long day for me and for Mommy not to see me for that long was weird for her too! I was cranky which Mommy figured would happen and she let me have crackers while she was making supper. After awhile she realized I had been quiet for awhile and when she checked on me I was sleeping in my bed! She let me sleep thru supper and then came to wake me for my soccer meeting only to realize that I had a fever. I guess I have influenza now too. . . I stayed home and Mommy went to my meeting alone and brought home my t-shirt! It's red and our team is the Go-Getters! Our first game is April 5th (well if the snow melts anyway!). We have 10 girls on my team and the games are three on three so we will actually play two games at the same time so six of us will be on the fields with the remaining four rotating out at each quarter. Mommy thinks it sounds fun and Alisha will be on my team so that makes it better. Callie and I both went to bed as soon as Mommy got home.
3/16/2008	Callie still has a fever so Mommy decided to take her to ReadyCare - she has Influenza B. SO I guess she will have to stay home from school for a few days. She is sad because tomorrow is the Brownies fieldtrip to HyVee and Tuesday is her science fair so she will miss those now. We just stayed home today - well Daddy went to the store and took Miley with him but otherwise it was a lazy day. He grilled tunafish and then we dyed Easter Eggs! Miley spent a lot of time outside today - she really enjoys just running around in loops out back - it is pretty funny to watch her. And she enjoys just sitting in the grass and watching people out front. She was out front for about 30 minutes then she barked to come in and went right to the sliding glass door and whined to go out back and was out there for another 30 minutes! Shelby came out today for awhile too so Mommy was happy about that.
3/15/2008	Callie woke up in the middle of the night feeling dizzy and she had a fever. Mommy sat with her a awhile and then she ended up throwing up too. She slept with Mommy after that and in the morning she thought she felt good (she really hoped it was gone because today was Gillian's birthday party) BUT after awhile she had a fever again and threw up again. She was very very sad she had to miss the party. Daddy took me to gymnastics - it was my last day although Mommy thought I would have a make up day next week since the teacher didn't even show up last week! After lunch Mommy & I went to the party - it was a detective party. We learned about fingerprints (and I found out I have a whirly one), measured our footprints, and then we were ready to solve our first case! Adam and I had to measure the footprint left at the crime scene while the other girls examined the hair and piece of paper left behind. We finally had it narrowed down to two people so then we had DNA results back from the lab and found out who it was! It was time for cake after that BUT we discovered the cake was STOLEN! We had to follow lots of clues around the house and finally found it in the bathtub! Mommy and I came home and even brought a piece of cake for Callie and then we just hung out and played Wii after supper too.
3/14/2008	I was excited because today at preschool we had an "un birthday party" for Uncle Ugboo (a puppet). We made upside down cake on Wednesday (which I told Mommy was going to be yucky because we had to put pineapples in it) so today we sat under the table to eat it! I tried it but didn't like it. Miley had her last shots today and like last time, Mommy said she was a hyper dog trying to get at everyone and every dog she could - Mommy's arm was very sore from trying to hold the leash tight (and she isn't even full grown yet!). Callie tried to invite a friend over but everyone she called was busy or not home so she just played with me until Daddy got home. We ran to Dairy Queen for supper and came home to play the Wii!
3/13/2008	Today was SUPER nice out. Mommy and I went shopping after lunch and we didn't even need coats! We picked Callie up from school and went home to get Miley and my bike & Callie's scooter. We went to the bike path and had a lot of fun - Miley really enjoyed it and she was tired out (and drenched from the puddles) when we got home. We played in the front while Mommy cleaned out the truck and Miley was tied up so she sat in the driveway and dried out! When Daddy got home we grilled and that was so yummy. Daddy had to leave - it was his last night of darts so Mommy put us to bed.
3/12/2008	Mommy went to get coffee after she dropped me off at preschool (she had Miley with her so she went through the drive-thru) and they gave Miley a dog biscuit - she sure loved that! After school Mommy picked both me and Alisha up because we got to babysit her. We played and played and finally were ready for lunch and then we played some more. Her mom picked her up right when we were getting ready to pick up Callie. We played outside again today and then Mommy took me to Daddy's work around 5 so I could draw on his white board (I was upset last week when Callie went to sell cookies) and then we had date night while Mommy took Callie to ballet and ate with her afterwards.
3/11/2008	This morning Mommy had to go to Callie's school to fill out some paperwork and then we went to the library for the puppet show! It was pretty funny. We came home for lunch and Mommy hooked up Miley outside -she really likes sitting out front but today she was playing more and she got all tangled in the bushes so now we aren't sure how that is going to work out. After we picked up Callie we played outside on our scooters and bikes. Mommy had Miley on the leash so they just followed us around - she was hoping to tire Miley out a bit so she wasn't quite so hyper at class tonight. Daddy took Callie and I to a movie that was at the theater - it was really a new Christian TV show that is being taped at the the church where my preschool is so we were invited to the premiere because my teacher was in that episode!! Mommy took Miley to class and she did a really good job this time - she is learning quite a few commands. Like last time she was exhausted when they got home and pretty much just went straight to her crate to sleep.
3/10/2008	We learned about the letter U today and read a story about upside down day! Mommy helped test kids on time in Callie's class and she got done early so she thought she would just come home and get stuff done but then she felt bad so she ran to the store and came back in time for lunch. She found out Callie cried when she left so then she felt really bad! It was really nice out today so we decided to walk to the grocery store to get some food for supper. Then we walked home and rode our scooters a bit - Callie tried to ride her bike but she is way too small for it now! Mommy said she will just have to get an early birthday present (and pick out a new bike).
3/9/2008	Today was Callie's splash party so Mommy and I went with her to that and we all had fun swimming. Daddy bought Miley a cable to tie her out front with because she loves to sit on the steps and watch the dogs across the street - she seems to really like being out there! Dawn was in town and brought Reghan over to play - she is sure cute! Don had meetings so he wasn't able to come over but we had subs together and then played until bedtime.
3/8/2008	We stayed home today so Mommy could get some things done around here and of course we played the Wii! Daddy and Callie had a Girl Scouts date tonight for the girls and their dads. They went to a church for dinner (chicken) and a movie. Mommy and I went to dinner too and then came home for bed.
3/7/2008	Today my preschool went to the Gymnastics Academy for a Tumbling outing (for the letter T). It was LOTS of fun! After we picked up Callie from school we played until Daddy got home and then it was time for Pizza Bingo at Callie's school. Alisha was there too since her big sister and brother go there so I was excited to see her. We played lots of bingo but didn't win any prizes so I was mad when it was time to go home. Haley has been very brave lately and comes out to see us now and just bats Miley on the head when she gets too close. Now if we can just get Skittles and Shelby to come out, Mommy will be happy.
3/5/2008	That class must have really tired Miley out because she slept until 7am without waking up at all (sometimes she wakes up at 2 to go to the bathroom). Mommy took Callie to school today because Daddy had a meeting at 8:30 so he had time to stay home and snowblow (it snowed last night!) if he didn't have to take her. Miley came with of course - she comes with anytime Mommy picks us up from school and usually on my way to school too. We made treasure chests and a tiger puppet talked to us about taking care of our teeth! After we picked up Callie we went back to my school because Mrs. LuAnn told Adam she would like Girl Scout cookies (he had told her yesterday that we were coming over to sell him some) so she bought some and so did Mrs. Blythe! We played at home for awhile and then Mommy dropped Callie off at Daddy's work so she could sell there and she did great. She finally had to stop so she wasn't late for ballet. Meanwhile Mommy and I went out for supper and I wanted to buy my Hannah Montana things for my birthday party (of course it is still a month away but I am excited and have been thinking about it because Mommy had to reserve a room for it this morning).
3/4/2008	I went to the mall with Alisha and her mom this morning! Phil Baker was there singing and dancing so we had lots of fun - with about 100 other kids. Afterwards we played in the playland and then we had lunch at Alisha's house and played more. Mommy picked up Callie from school and then picked me up. We ran home for a few minutes and then headed to Dena's to sell cookies and play with Gillian & Adam. It was a busy day! We had a quick supper because Mommy and Miley went to puppy school while Daddy took us to Jason's to sell cookies. We all got home at the same time - Mommy and Miley were very tired out from their class. I guess Miley was definitely the rambunctious one of the class!
3/3/2008	We talked about the letter T today in preschool. We all overslept today so Mommy was too rushed to make Callie's lunch so she said she would bring it when she helped in class. She had it all made and by the door but when she was getting ready to leave Miley jumped over the NEW gate! Mommy was very upset, put her in the crate, and was so flustered she forgot Callie's lunch. So she took her out after she helped in her classroom - they went to Little Cesear's and shared a pizza. We made Easter crafts in Brownies and then we ran home for a quick supper (Callie ate her lunchbox food) and took Callie to her last day of swimming lessons. She passed her level! Uncle Tom came over to visit afterwards and we saw how good Jace can crawl and pull himself up now.
3/2/2008	Miley slept in until 7 this morning so I guess yesterday wiped her out! Mommy did some cleaning while we played today and then we went out for an early supper.
3/1/2008	We went to Aberdeen for a day trip today so we could introduce Miley to everyone and Callie could sell cookies too. We wanted to meet Aaron and Alison's new baby boy, Wyatt, too - he was sure little! We didn't have time to see our great grandparents and Grandpa Ivey was out of town so we will have to come back soon! Miley did great in the car - she was in the crate but her door faced us so Callie and I could talk to her but mostly she slept. She loved playing with Maggie and she played with Cosmo a little bit too but mostly she was too tired out from her romp at Grandma Ivey's to do much more. Oh and she met Cedar and Willow at Aaron's house too so lots of dog friends! We fell asleep on the way home and Mommy carried us in and put us to bed. Even Miley just went right to bed.
2/29/2008	It was silly day at preschool so I wore my jeans under a skirt - I didn't want to do anything else even though Mommy tried to get me to. The teachers were sure dressed silly! We had silly snacks too - a strawberry sundae, a snake (gummy worm), and smore's crackers! It was really nice otu today so we went with Mommy and Miley on a longer walk after Callie came home from school. Then Callie and I played outside on our scooters and even dragged our lawnchairs out to sit on them - Mommy thought we were goofy.
2/27/2008	Today we had a police officer come to our school to talk about safety! I told Mommy he was really funny and teased us a lot. He even pretended to have his handcuffs stuck on him! Callie is having a musical program/play this year (their school only has music programs for second and fifth grades) and pretty soon she has auditions for certain parts - she wants to try out for a solo!
2/26/2008	We had to take Haley to the vet today - all the cats have sniffles and sneezes but the vet is just going to watch it for awhile so no meds yet. Phew! While we were gone though Miley jumped the gate AGAIN. Mommy is very annoyed. She moved our new gate to the laundry room now because it is taller. The cats weren't coming downstairs with the new gate anyway and she wasn't sure if it because they don't feel well or they didn't the new one. We babysat Alisha today over lunch and we played really well together. Her mom picked her up right before we went to get Callie. Daddy took us out for supper tonight and we met Tom at the mall because Mommy had her first puppy kindergarten class! Miley didn't get to go this time though - it was only for the owners.
2/25/2008	We are learning about S this week AND I am star of the week too. I took home Brother Bear in his picnic basket - he comes with a bottle of honey and a bedtime story so I can feed him and read to him. I also took a snack and I wanted to bring jello jigglers. Mommy cut out Stars (for S) and I took pretzels too. Daddy picked me up since Mommy helped at Callie's school. In Brownies we learned about healthy foods and we made 'food people'. We came home quickly to let Miley out and play with her, ate a fast supper, and then back to swimming. Next Monday is Callie's last day and Mommy is glad because Monday's are too chaotic she said.
2/24/2008	Callie and I worked on crafts today. I forgot to tell you that Callie went to Lauren's yesterday so it was just me and Daddy playing the Wii. Mommy and I went shopping after lunch and we bought a really cool pet gate for our upstairs hallway. It has a walk thru gate that Callie and I can open all by ourselves so we don't have to be lifted or climb over AND the best part is that it has a small cat door too so they can walk thru instead of jump. Mommy has been worried about Shelby becasue she is getting older and of course she is BIG (Mommy says fat isn't a nice word) so she can't jump real well. This will be perfect. Miley can probably fit thru it now but not for long and hopefully she won't even realize it's there for awhile. We had baths tonight and it was bedtime early since we were tired and cranky today (or so Mommy says).
2/23/2008	I had gymnastics today and of course I wanted Mommy to bring me. She told me I had to do everything by myself and she was just going to watch and then we could go to the coffe store if I did a good job. I WAS GREAT! Mommy couldn't believe it - of course she had to hold her breath the whole time because she knew if she did the wrong thing I would fall apart. So she smiled big when I did my things but didn't go overboard because I hate that. She was also very nervous to take a picture of me so she only took two and then only when I wasn't looking. I enjoyed a cookie at the coffee store after that. Daddy and Callie took Miley to run errands and they were gone for an hour - Mommy couldn't believe she did so good in the car. Daddy said she did eat some receipts but nothing important and he figured a little paper wouldn't hurt her. Mommy hopes that gets him to clean his car! Callie went to a few more neighbor's houses to sell cookies and we played the Wii again too. After we went to bed Daddy went to a party and Mommy went to sleep - getting up at five is tiring her out!! OH and she cleaned the house today while Daddy could watch Miley - she has realized it is quite hard to get her chores done with a puppy to watch.
2/22/2008	I took a rabbit for show-n-tell today and Mommy took Miley to the vet for her shots. She has gained 5lbs already and grew taller! The vet said she isn't fat at all so to keep on feeding her (Mommy was fretting that she was feeding her too much). Miley got scared of a big lab that was there but she was sure having fun sniffing the little dogs in the waiting room. Mommy took Miley home afterwards to run some errands and when we came home there was a pile of toys on the wood floor! It took Mommy a few seconds but she soon knew what that meant - Miley got out of the laundry room. She had collected a few toys from each of our bedrooms, the guest bedroom, and the playroom so I guess she was busy! Callie started selling Girl Scout cookies today - we walked down the block and back.
2/21/2008	Mommy and I picked up Callie and took her out to lunch today since she hasn't been getting outside recess. Afterwards we went shopping! Callie had Lauren over after school - she liked Miley!
2/20/2008	Callie had a stomach ache this morning so Mommy let her stay home. We had a taikwondo teacher come to talk to us today about Respect (we are learning about R) and we made robins too. Mommy and Callie picked me up and had sandwiches in the car, we dropped off Callie at school because she felt better, she dropped me off at Alisha's for a playdate and then she met Daddy at the fix it shop so she could drop off the truck and take Daddy back to work. Then she went and bought Jason a Wii at a store that doesn't allow him to come there anymore and since she did that for him, he gave her a free Wii Tiger Woods golf game that she wanted! Callie didn't have ballet tonight because their teacher is out of town with the competitive dance team so we met Uncle Tom and Jace for supper instead.
2/18/2008	I forgot to tell you that Mommy gave Miley her first bath yesterday! She wasn't so sure abaut it at first but she let Mommy scrub her and rinse her - she sure looked funny all wet! Daddy turned the fireplace on afterwards and let her sit next to it to help her dry off. Today Daddy had to go back to work so it was just us girls. We went to Target for a few things and headed back home to play. We ate an early supper because Callie had swimming lessons then we came home for showers and bed - Callie goes back to school tomorrow!
2/17/2008	This morning I had to come downstairs to cry again about Mommy not being in her bed when I woke up. We were all ready to go shopping by 10 when Best Buy opened because Daddy was excited to buy the Transformer game for his Wii and it was on sale today. Then we went to Sam's and to Granite City for lunch. Miley can stay be herself for almost three hours now! We spent the afternoon at home playing. Miley is sure attached to Mommy - all three of us can leave the room and Miley doesn't care but when Mommy leaves she is up and following her right away! Daddy made us cheese crispies and nachos for supper and then I was ready for bed by 6:30. Callie stayed up and played Wii and she and Mommy drew more fashion designs in her kit.
2/16/2008	Miley woke up this morning at 5:30 so Mommy was very tired. I of course heard her so I had to get up too (screaming while I ran down the hall) and finally Mommy convinced me to sleep on the couch and I did until 7. She and Miley slept on the other couch until then as well. We went rollerskating after lunch with Gillian and Adam. It was their first time there and they did great! Callie is really getting the hang of her rollerblades now and I of course still do good on my skates. Mommy was hoping I would nap on the way home because I am getting cranky (or so she says) but I refused. It was pretty nice out so Mommy let Miley play in the yard for awhile and she was going wacko running in the snow! Mommy put me to bed early while Daddy took Callie and Miley to the store (but Miley had to stay in the truck of course and she even curled up and went to sleep). They bought Guitar Hero and Mommy is addicted to it already!
2/15/2008	Daddy had today off so we played the Wii all morning (of course) and then we went out to Chuck E Cheese for lunch. Afterwards Mommy bought a new crate for Miley (she was still using our cat one and that was a bit too small) and we used our Valentine money for . . . new webkinz of course! Callie bought a book yesterday too and I haven't decided what I am doing with the rest of mine yet. Daddy took Miley with him to the store this evening since he only had to run in quick to buy something and she did really good in the car!
2/14/2008	Happy Valentine's Day! We woke up and found valentine cards AND the Valentine Frog Webkinz by our breakfast. Daddy got Mommy chocolates and she shared too. Daddy had to work but the rest of us had the day to play. We ran errands this morning and then after playing with Miley, Mommy let us each invite a friend over. I had Alisha and Callie had Ann. They even played the Wii because she has one too. They both left at five and then had supper as soon as Daddy got home so he could go to darts. I had to go to bed early (the dog keeps waking me up early and I am very disturbed by the fact that Mommy isn't in her bed when I wake up) so Mommy and Callie had a great time playing Wii!
2/13/2008	I had my Valetine's Day Party today. Mommy dropped me off at school so she and Callie could go to Barnes and Noble. They found books and had a coffee/hot chocolate and then it was time to come back for my party. We had heart shaped brownies and ice cream sundaes and then we opened our valentines! I was very excited to get a Hannah Montana one from Alisha. This afternoon Callie and I fought a lot - I was pretty tired and Mommy was busy with Miley so it was a stressful day for all of us. Daddy picked up Callie for ballet so I took my bath and when they got back Mommy had chili waiting for supper. I went to bed right after that and Callie stayed up to play the Wii with Daddy.
2/12/2008	We took Miley to the doctor and found out she has coccidia so she got some medicine to make her better. Haley is really getting brave with her lately and comes to sit on Daddy's lap while Miley is on Mommy's. She hisses if Miley gets too close of course but Mommy is happy to see her come downstairs. Now if we can only get Shelby to come out. We sure are having fun playing our Wii! Callie had her Valentine's Day party today - I came with this time. Mommy had fun relay races planned: they had to pass an orange down the row with their neck/chins, they had a chopstick race picking up candy hearts and they did a race with different walks like marching, hopping, etc. Callie is down with school until next Tuesday now!
2/11/2008	Miley seemed a lot better today -she was playing and eating and drinking. But by the evening she was seeming sick again - good thing her dr appt is tomorrow! We made valentines for our parents in school today. Callie had brownies and we made heart people and then all the parents came for a cookie selling meeting. We ran home to eat a quick supper and let Miley out and then it was time for swimming lessons. We came home and then Daddy had to snowblow - we got a lot of snow again!
2/10/2008	Miley was sick today - she didn't want to drink or eat so this afternoon Mommy started getting worried. She called the emergency vet number and they told her to bring her in. They had to do a parvo test on her but thankfully that was negative so now they just want us to watch her overnight. If she doesn't start drinking by tomorrow then we need to take her back for an x-ray because she might have eaten something she wasn't supposed to! Daddy went to the store this morning to get in line for a Wii and he actually got one! So we spent the day playing on that - it is super fun. Even Mommy & Daddy had a fun game of golf before bed!
2/9/2008	The Brownies all woke up around 7 and had muffins, donut holes, bananas, and juice for breakfast. Then they ran around and played tag again until their parents came around 8:30. I told Mommy that I had to go wake Daddy at 6am when Miley started barking but he claims he was already up and starting to go get her. I think Mommy believes my version! We played around home today because we were all quite tired.
2/8/2008	Today I took Queen Amadala to for show-n-tell. Callie was very excited because tonight was her Brownies Sleepover. All the girls chose to bring one thing for snacks or breakfast and Callie took drinks for tonight. They had popcorn, chips, bars, cookies, and crackers. We ate supper and headed to the Council office so Mommy could set up. Daddy helped her carry everything in and then we said good-bye and went home to play Mario! All the girls came around 7 and they played tag, hide-n-seek, board games, drew pictures, and watched a movie. There was a big meeting room where they all put their sleeping bags and they had a kitchen for their snacks. Lights went out at 10:30 and by 11:30 they were all fast asleep.
2/7/2008	Mommy and I ran a few errands today so we left Miley in the laundry room. She did great again - I think she is really get used to us now. Skittles has come out to play a lot but the other two cats are having a harder time liking her. It was little more tricky at bedime tonight since Daddy was at darts and Mommy had to keep Miley out of the bedrooms, which meant she barked. But she did go to her crate tonight without barking!
2/6/2008	We had a lady come to preschool today to help us make a quilt! They traced our handprints and we colored them and wrote our name by it. She took it all home to sew it together and will bring it back when she is finished. Mommy ran errands and Miley did great again. Oh and Mommy said it was much easier to sleep with Miley in the laundry room. Her barking wasn't quite as bad last night and it was much more muffled anyway. We bought Miley a dog bed for in the family room too so she has a place to lay and then the cats actually came out to lay on the couch again last night with Daddy! They kept checking to make sure Miley was still sleeping though.
2/5/2008	We have been gating Miley in the kitchen when Mommy is busy and we started off using this neat low gate that Callie & I could step over. WELL Miley figured out how to jump that already so we had to switch gates. This morning didn't work out so well with us brushing teeth, eating, and all that going back & forth btwn the kitchen and bathroom with Mommy having to lift us every time while she was trying to pack lunches and make breakfast. SO after lunch I had a playdate and she decided to clean out the laundry room and try that for Miley's "room". It has been working great! She ran errands twice and both times she left Miley in the gated room with her crate door open and both times she came home to QUIET and Miley was sleeping in her crate on her own! Gillian, Adam, and Dena came over after school to play but I was pretty wiped from my earlier playdate so I wasn't very fun. Then Callie had conferences - she is doing GREAT! Ms. Ahlbrecht let her show us all kinds of work she is doing and then we saw the new gym too. We came home to eat leftovers and I had to go right to bed at 6:30 - boy was I tired!
2/4/2008	Happy Birthday Daddy! I learned about the letter Q in school today. AND I asked Mommy if she would bring Miley in to show all my friends and she did - they all had to pet her. She went home and walked her and then she had to crate her while she volunteered at Callie's school. Daddy picked me up and we met Mommy back at home - she had already let Miley out. Callie didn't have swimming today so we met Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace at Red Lobster to celebrate Daddy's birthday and then they all came over to meet Miley and eat Birthday Cookie with us. We got Daddy a BullDog webkinz and a note that said we want to buy him a Wii but we haven't found one yet. Bedtime stressed Mommy out because it was late when everyone left and Miley was hyper. She cried a lot again in her crate tonight but luckily Callie and I sleep right through it (if only Mommy & Daddy could be so lucky).
2/3/2008	We had lots of fun playing with Miley again today! Mommy slept in the dining room in a sleeping bag so Miley could see her from the kitchen in her crate and she did great! She loves sitting on our laps while we watch tv too! We helped Mommy take her on a walk (and argued over who got to hold the leash) and then Mommy tried crating her while we ate our supper and watched the superbowl. She put the crate in the family room so she could watch us but it took her a long time to quit barking and just hang out but she did finally. Mommy put us to bed and after watching tv with Daddy she put Miley to bed. She didn't like being left alone and barked and barked - for almost two hours! Mommy and Daddy were not thrilled but she finally went to sleep.
2/2/2008	I had gymnastics this morning so Mommy & Callie took me this time. I was pretty clingy with Mommy so she thinks Daddy better take me from now on. But I did a good job on the bars and doing handstands and headstands! After lunch Mommy decided to adopt the puppy!! She is 1/2 basset hound and 1/2 who knows. . . but she is pretty cute. She is two months old and right now about 10 lbs. We decided to name her Miley. We took her to Petco and bought her some new toys and food and then we ordered pizza so we could stay home and play with her.
2/1/2008	Happy Birthday Haley & Shelby - they are 10 years old now! I wore my pjs to school, brought my pillow & blankie, my slippers, and my polar bear and penguin for show-n-tell! We watched a movie and had popcorn and pretzels - it was lots of fun. After lunch Mommy & I played with play-doh (oh another P word!) and then it was time to get Callie. Daddy picked us up at 5 so we could go to the humane society to play with a cute puppy and then we ate at Q-doba. Mommy set up the tent when we got home and we had a camp out (well Daddy slept in his bed but Mommy stayed with us).
1/31/2008	Adam and Dena came over to play this morning. After lunch Alisha called me to see if I could come over to play. We talked on the phone for awhile about what barbies I should bring - I was so cute to listen to. She wanted me to bring one of Callie's but I told her that I couldn't because it was my sister's and very special and I didn't want to lose it. So I took some of mine instead. Mommy dropped me off on the way to get Callie at school and boy was Callie surprised (and excited to have alone time with Mommy). They drew design fashions and colored and then they played on the computer together until it was time to pick me up.
1/30/2008	Today we talked about Presidents for P and we colored a picture of George Washington and made an Abe Lincoln hat! Mommy and I watched a movie this afternoon since it was so cold out and we had nothing to do. We picked up Callie and then played all afternoon until it was time for ballet.
1/29/2008	We had Alisha over this morning (her mom actually had a meeting so Mommy babysat). I was very excited for her to arrive and she even stayed long enough to eat lunch with us! It was super cold out today so Mommy was happy we didn't have to go anywhere (except to pick up Callie). We had our water softener taken out today too - Daddy bought a new one and it ended up being Mommy's old classmate that came to get it! Mommy had a PTA meeting tonight so Daddy got us ready for bed but she ended up being home in time to tuck us in.
1/28/2008	Callie and I were both tired this morning. We talked about the letter P today and on Friday we are going to have a Pajama party! Mommy didn't go to school today to help so she picked me up instead of Daddy. She had lots of things to do for Brownies and I helped her! We talked about the girls' sleepover coming up and each girl volunteered to bring something. Then they had partners trace themeselves on big paper and we cut them out and colored them - it took a long time but they sure looked neat! Mommy took us to McDonalds afterwards for supper because then Callie had swimming lessons. We went right home after Callie showered because we were both very tired and had to get to bed early.
1/27/2008	We went out for breakfast with Grandma & Grandpa Ivey this morning! Aunt Michelle came with too but Callie didn't want Mommy and Daddy to come with since usually it is just a kid's breakfast so they had a fun breakfast date by themselves. Everyone met back up at our house and then Grandma & Grandpa got ready to go home. We all got ready to go tubing! Amber took Jace home but Uncle Tom came with too. It was really nice outside so that made it a lot of fun - although the line to get up the hill was long but Callie made her own fun in the snow rolling around in it while we waited. Callie and I even went down in our own tubes one time! The other times I sat in Mommy's lap and boy did we fly down. We left at supper and met Amber back at our house for a supper of sandwiches and leftovers. Then Aunt Michelle packed up and left with Uncle Tom because she flys out early tomorrow morning so she stayed with them. We were sad to say good-bye but she is coming back in May!
1/26/2008	I started gymnastics today! Daddy took me there and I did summersaults and swung on some bars too! We also played Red Light Green Light. We bought coffee and muffins afterwards and brought them home for breakfast. Uncle Tom, Amber, Jace, & Grandma and Grandpa came over for lunch - we had sandwiches and then we played for awhile. Later we all went to Grandma's motel to swim - even Jace tried out the pool for his first time! It was kind of cold but he seemed to like it. We all dried off and went to Mama's Ladas for supper (well Grandma and Grandpa decided to try a Japanese restaurant) then we met up back at our house for ice cream.
1/25/2008	Today was Orange day and Mrs. Blythe's birthday! I took her a present I made at Alisha's house (a card and an orange) and I took a picture of Oliver (Grandma's cat) for show-n-tell. Mommy went to pick up Michelle from Tom's house after she dropped me off so then she could see my school when they picked me up. We met Grandma & Grandpa Ivey for lunch with Tom, Amber, & Jace too. Then it was time to get Callie! Aunt Michelle came with too and afterwards everyone came over to our house to visit. As soon as Daddy came home Michelle and Mommy went to Olive Garden to put our name on the list and have a glass of wine while they waited - we came when it got closer to our time to get a table. We had a great supper and came home to eat the cupcakes Mommy & I made. I fell asleep on the way home (it was 8:30 already!) and Callie stayed up until 9:30 - everyone else had a more wine and had lots of fun.
1/24/2008	We were both very excited because Michelle is coming today! Callie didn't even want to go to school but Mommy told her she doesn't even here until the same time she gets OUT of school. Mommy and I went shopping this morning and then it was time for my Magic Class she signed me up for. I was very shy of course and didn't want her to leave my side and if they asked me questions I just looked at her so she would answer for me. We made a top hap, magic wand, and we learned a magic trick! We came home and had lunch after that and then we went to the humane society to play with the new puppies and cats until it was time to pick up Callie. Then we could hardly wait for Uncle Tom to bring Aunt Michelle over and Amber and Jace even came too! SO we all went out to Cici's for supper and then Daddy had darts and they all went to watch him so Mommy babysat Jace. We had to go to bed right away so we weren't too happy about that but Mommy enjoyed some baby time by herself!
1/23/2008	Today we learned about the letter O. Mommy came to pick me up and Alisha's mom asked if I could come over to play and eat lunch too! I was very excited so Mommy took me over there right away. She had the whole morning to herself AND the whole afternoon! She picked up Callie first and then me. She was afraid I would fall apart and have a horrible afternoon after my big day but Callie and I played great together!. Daddy got home early enough to take Callie to ballet so Mommy & I ran to the grocery store and then back home to start supper before they even got home. Daddy went to a movie tonight with Jason so Mommy put us to bed.
1/22/2008	Kim came over today with Abby, Matt,& Megan. We played until it was time for Abby to go eat lunch and go to school. She has afternoon kindergarten so she still gets her mornings to play - Mommy sure wishes our schools still did that. We picked up Callie from school and then went to the library so we could pick out some new books! Callie really enjoys non-fiction so she wanted Mommy to help her find books about famous people. She picked ones about Harriet Tubman and Anne Franke.
1/21/2008	I slept in until 8 since I had stayed up late last night - I didn't even hear Daddy leave for work. Mommy and I played for awhile, I took a bath and then we picked up Callie. She never called last night so Mommy figured it went well and it did. She had a great time playing, they went to Lauren's room at 9 to read and talk quietly and they were both asleep by 10. They woke up at 6 though! Mommy had to run a few errands after we picked up Callie and then we headed home to play. Later in the afternoon we went outside to play and help Mommy shovel all the snow we got today! We were even sledding down the driveway -that was super fun. Mommy made us hot chocolate and then it was time for swimming lessons. Callie does great in them and then she showers, washes her hair and everything afterwards. She even likes to blowdry it all by herself so Mommy and I just hang out and wait. Daddy made supper and had it waiting for us and then we had to go to bed early because Callie was really tired out.
1/20/2008	Callie was super excited ALL day because she gets to go over to Lauren's for her very first sleepover at someone's house! We had to do some shopping first because Daddy needed jeans and shoes and while we were being silly with the foot measurer Mommy realized Callie's feet really grew! So she got to pick out new tennis shoes too - she is in a size ONE now! Lauren came to pick up Callie at 5 so they could go out for pizza and I was pretty sad. I told Mommy I might even cry. Daddy made us frozen pizzas, set up the TV trays and we had supper and watched E.T. to cheer me up. I had never seen the movie before and I LOVED it - he is sooo cute! Daddy even snuck out and ran to Walgreens to get us Reece's Pieces to eat for dessert since that is what E.T. liked.
1/19/2008	It was another super cold day so we mostly stayed home and played. We did meet Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace for steak though at LoneStar and then they came over to our house for awhile. Jace was trying to crawl - he mostly just drags himself a little ways and then he gives up and rolls. Uncle Tom used the cat's laser light to get him to try and move though and he really liked following it!
1/18/2008	I could only think of a necklace for show-n-tell but I really wanted something different but we had a hard time. Finally on our way out the door, Mommy saw Daddy's new nightlight and she said we could take that! I was excited to show all my friends the lightning inside. Mommy talked to Alisha's mom after preschool and they are going to sign us up for soccor together! (I had told Mommy yesterday I really wanted to try it). She also asked her if Alisha could come over after we picked up Callie from school. I could hardly wait all afternoon. We picked up Callie, then picked up Alisha and finally Lauren before coming over. We mostly each played with our own friend but for awhile all four of us played together. They went home at supper and I was tired out then so Mommy decided to let Daddy & Callie eat out together (we were all going to go) and she made me mac-n-cheese and put me to bed.
1/17/2008	Mommy made two big Barbie houses in our living and dining room today so we had fun playing. I couldn't wait until Callie came home to play with me. We played and played until supper and then played some more until bath time!
1/16/2008	Happy Birthday Grandma Ivey! I had fun at school today playing house with my friends. Callie had two outside recesses today so she was happy about that - her friends have been sliding down a big hill. Callie and I played after school and then it was time for her ballet. We usually just drop her off and Daddy picks her up but he was going to a birthday party after work so we had to stay and wait for her. I took my Leapster and played that the whole time - I sure love that thing! OH and Daddy started a new "job" today. He still works for Omnitech but his new client wants him to work on-site so he gets to work in the same building Gillian & Adam's dad works!
1/15/2008	Happy Birthday Great Grandpa Anglin! It was super cold again today so we mostly stayed home. Callie was really crabby and tired when we picked her up from school and when Mommy told her she couldn't have Lauren over she really cried. Mommy said we had such a big day yesterday that we really needed a quiet day so Callie promised her that if she could have Lauren over, they would talk quietly - Mommy thought that was pretty funny! Mommy had a Girl Scout Cookie meeting for leaders so Daddy played with us and put us to bed.
1/14/2008	It was really cold out today so Callie didn't have any outside recesses. I was happy to see that both Mrs. LuAnn and Mrs. Blythe were back today. We talked about the letter N. Daddy picked me up since Mommy was helping in Callie's class. She helped kids work on how to tell time. After lunch Mommy and I played and then it was time for Brownies. We made bead bracelets today and learned about our pulse. We ate an early supper after Brownies because then at 5:15 Callie had swimming. Daddy met us there to watch and then we all headed to the mall to meet Uncle Tom & Amber. They gave us Build A Bear gift certificates for Christmas so we used them tonight! I made a zebra and Callie made a dalmation. We were even able to pick out clothes for our animals! We had cookies for a snack and made lots of funny faces at Jace and then it was time to go home to bed.
1/13/2008	We all slept in past 8 today - Mommy actually stayed in bed a LOT longer. Daddy made us caramel rolls and then he made us lunch too before he and Callie went to Sam's Club and to Uncle Tom's to work on his computer. Mommy and I played and watched tv. I looked at her wedding pictures and asked her if you have to be 20 or something to get married. She said you can be any age as long as you are a grown up. So I asked her if you can get married if you are 80. When she replied yes I said "REALLY?" And so she said "yes, if you can find someone to marry you at 80, you can sure get married" I then replied "well what if the boy is 80 and the girl isn't - that would look silly!" She wonders where I come up with these things that I ponder over. Mommy made us supper when Callie and Daddy came home and then we played on webkinz before taking baths and going to bed.
1/12/2008	Daddy had to leave right away at 8 this morning for his team tournament so we had the day to ourselves. We went to the mall to go shopping and then we ate lunch there which Mommy decided was not all that fun since all three of us wanted food from a different place. She had to do lots of running before she could sit down and eat. We headed back home to play and then Daddy came home around 4 - they lost so he doesn't have to go back tomorrow. It was his work Christmas party tonight so after he and Mommy got ready they made us supper and then took us to the drop-in daycare. We had fun playing and coloring there and then they picked us up around 10. Mommy had told Callie 9 and since she can tell time now, she gave them a hard time for being late! We all went right to bed when we got home.
1/11/2008	Today was Make Believe Day so I dressed up as Pocahontas and I took my mermaid barbie for show-n-tell. Mrs. Blythe was still sick so we had another sub today but we still had fun. Callie and I helped Mommy clean after school - we took turns vacuuming and dusting so she gave us each an extra quarter for our allowance! Daddy had doubles dart tournament with Brad tonight so Dena, Adam, & Gillian came over for supper and play time. We ordered pizza and had lots of fun doing crafts and playing dress up. They left at 8:30 and then we went to bed. Daddy & Brad ended up winning second place tonight!
1/10/2008	Daddy went and ate lunch with Callie today. Mommy and I played restaurant and she pretended she was the server and I was the cook and she gave me LOTS of orders. I remembered them all but we were laughing pretty hard because she was trying to go fast and was being funny with her pretend customers. I am impressing Mommy with how well I can run our remote and get our TV and our recorded shows on Media center to play without even knowing how to read. Callie can't even work our TV! Callie had a Junior Achievment Volunteer come today - she is the owner of Wild Water West so she said they might get a pass if they do a good job! She is coming every Thursday for five more weeks. Daddy had darts tonight so Mommy, Callie, and I played games after supper and then it was time for bed.
1/9/2008	Mrs. Blythe was sick today and since Mrs. LuAnn is still recovering from surgery we had a sub. I was excited though because her dad is a magician and since we are talking about M she had him come and do and magic tricks! We also decorated paper mittens for art. Callie had a sub today too - just in the afternoon though. We played after school and then it was time for her to go to ballet. Mommy and I went out for supper so Daddy could have date night with Callie after her class. I asked Mommy tonight if the Easter Bunny is a real bunny or a fake one. She told me she didn't know and wondered what I thought. I told her that it must be a fake bunny because a real one has paws and couldn't hold on to the toys to put them in our baskets.
1/8/2008	Callie was excited because she had art in her new art room today! No more art on a cart. And the last Thursday she had PE in her new gym! Now the old gym is being turned into the new library and it is VERY LOUD (the gym is right across from Callie's classroom). Mommy isn't sure how anyone can concentrate because it drove her nuts while she was helping yesterday.
1/7/2008	We talked about the letter M in school today. Alicen's mom stayed and helped Mrs. Blythe today. Daddy picked me up of course since Mommy helped at Callie's school. The kids were pretty excited to see her since it had been awhile. Callie and I had fun playing after school with our dolls because our new American Girl outfits came in the mail!! Callie started swimming lessons tonight at 5:15 so we had a late supper. Daddy was at Uncle Tom's so it was just us girls and then Mommy put me to bed. Callie stayed up to tell Daddy about swimming - she had a boy teacher and thought he was really great. Callie has been learning how to knit so she and Mommy worked on their knitting a little bit and then it was time for bed.
1/6/2008	We played this morning and then it was SO nice outside we went to the sledding hill by our house. It was so much fun! Callie's friend, Lauren, was there so they went down together while I went down with Mommy and Daddy. Sometimes your sled would turn around and we would go backwards which sure made me laugh. We hit lots of bumps and even flew off our sled - it was great. The hill was very tall though so it was quite tiring to climb back up. We played at the park with Lauren and her sister after that and then we all headed home. Callie wanted to make a snowman with her new parts so we did that as soon as we got home and then it was time for supper and baths.
1/5/2008	We all colored this morning and I even wore my patch - we haven't been doing that lately so Mommy was quite proud I remembered! After lunch Callie went roller skating with Lauren and Daddy took me to the Pavillion. Mommy went shopping and decided to change our living room colors. Of course when she called Daddy to tell him she was getting rid of the "blue" living room he and I laughed because we thought our living room was white (I don't think Mommy was very impressed with us). We were all excited to go see the Roller Dolz tonight so we wanted to eat quickly and get there but then we found out the tickets were all SOLD OUT! We were really bummed because the next derby isn't until March. We played games instead and then Mommy put us to bed and worked on the living room some more.
1/4/2008	It was my first day back to school today. Mommy was afraid I was going to have a hard time going back because yesterday I complained about missing her but I was happy today. Mrs. LuAnn had surgery over break though so it was just Mrs. Blythe and will be for awhile. We had fun though and played in the gym. After school Callie and I played dentist for a long time!
1/3/2008	Callie was super excited to find out the tooth fairy left her a five dollar bill for her two teeth!! She told Mommy it was the best day ever. She went back to school and Daddy back to work today so Mommy and I met Dena & Adam at Caribou. Then we went shopping until it was time to go home for lunch. We took Callie to Lauren's house after school to play and then Mommy started working on lots of paperwork and filing things so I played school until we had to go pick up Callie.
1/2/2008	Callie woke up pretty nervous this morning about having her teeth pulled. Mommy and Daddy decided to have the dentist only do the bottom two instead of the four he was planning on doing. Daddy took her at 7:15 and I was still sleeping. They were back at 8:30 and she did great! She was numb but after that wore off she said it didn't hurt or anything. One of the teeth still had long roots on it so it was kind of icky looking. Callie had Mommy take pictures of it before the tooth fairy takes it away. OH and she wrote the fairy a note and told her she was sorry if having them pulled hurt the teeth in some way. We all went shopping this afternoon and then went out to Cici's for an early supper since it was Robert Frost night. I was super tired so I went to bed at 6 and Callie was asleep by 7:30.
1/1/2008	Happy New Year!! We didn't really sleep in today so Mommy told us we would have to nap later on. We spent the morning knitting with Mommy. She has been working on scarves and hats for our dolls and at the same time she is teaching Callie how to knit too. I wanted to learn but I soon realized it was just too hard. We played more board games after lunch and had to watch Daddy play Zelda too, of course and then it was time for our nap. Mommy read me a book and I insisted she read all the fine print on the copyright page. When it said it was printed in China, I warned her not to put it in her mouth then! She also made one of my favorite meals (noodles with sprinkle cheese) and I told her I wish she would make it EVERY night. Callie and I played more after supper and then it was time for bed.
