12/31/2010	The last day of 2010! It wasn't even snowing when we first woke up so we wondered what the big deal was. Then it was really snowing hard it was hard to see about 10 so we were sure we better get to the motel right away. Then it died down so Mommy wasn't in as big of a rush as we were which made us quite irritated. Finally we got to the motel around 3 and Erkonens were right behind us. We headed to the neat water park right away and had a lot of fun swimming until supper. Our dads got pizza so we ate in the pool area and then we decided to take a break and play in our rooms. The grown ups played games while we goofed around and watched TV. We headed back to the pool for a few hours until it was time for the ball to drop. We all watched it on TV, made noises on our blowers and then one on by one each of the Erkonen kids fell asleep so it was only me and Callie awake at midnight (and the grown ups of course). Kim and Scott had to carry the kids to their room (because they fell asleep in ours) and then everyone went to bed. Happy New Years!
12/30/2010	We are getting very excited for tomorrow because we are going to celebrate New Year's Eve in a motel. We are hoping this big blizzard they are talking about doesn't interfere with us getting to Brandon, where the motel is.
12/29/2010	Callie and I have been sleeping in a lot lately and today she slept until 9 and I slept in until 10am! We had to rush to get ready because we wanted to head to Brookings to see their new Children's Museum. We got there right at lunch time so we ate in the cafe and then we played. It was really neat and we had a lot of fun. On our way out of town Mommy had to check out their new coffee and fudge shop which was quite delicious I guess!
12/28/2010	We played this morning at Avery and Lauren's house and then their mom took us to the Visual Arts Museum to make crafts. Mommy and Daddy went shopping and then we all met up at Walmart around lunchtime so we could go home with Mommy and Daddy. I was tired and crabby so by 3 Mommy had enough of me and made me take a nap. We played our games after supper and then it was time for bed.
12/27/2010	Mommy took the tree down today because Zelda just keeps climbing to the top now and she was afraid ornaments would get broken. We left our other things up for now though.
12/26/2010	We all slept in until almost 8am! We played with our new toys and then Daddy suggested going to an early movie so we had to hurry to shower and get ready before 10:30. Mommy and I went to Tangled and it was really good! Callie and Daddy went to Tron and they liked that too. We went shopping afterwards because I had $100 saved from past holidays, allowance, and Christmas money. I decided to buy my Calico Critters a dollhouse and some beds for them. We came home to play with them all afternoon. I got the movie My Girl for Christmas so we decided to eat supper on TV trays and watch the movie before bed. Mommy told me it was sad and she even knew what was going to happen but STILL cried! I told her it was just a movie but that didn't help. I kept looking at her and she kept crying - she is just weird!
12/25/2010	We slept in Mommy's room last night on the floor because I get scared of Santa coming in our house. Then I woke up at midnight and needed to be closer to Mommy so I got in bed and evenutally she had to move to my bed because it was too crowded. I woke up lots more and finally I woke up Callie at 6am so we could see if he came! He brought me a mini American girl, which I asked for, and Taylor Swift t-shirts. I had wanted concert tickets but I liked the shirts too. I was very upset that the American Girl box had a sticker on it saying it was made in China because it should have been made in the North Pole. Callie got a magic book with lots of pictures on new tricks she can learn and her own sewing box with stuff in it so she was happy too. I was tired so Mommy made me lay down at 9 and I slept until 12! Grandma and Grandpa Robinson showed up right after that so we could have Christmas with them. We exchanged gifts and I was very happy to get my Go Go Dog! Mommy and Daddy made enchiladas for a late lunch and then we visited and played until Grandma and Grandpa had to leave. Uncle Tom and Amber came over with Jace around 7 so we celebrated with them for awhile until it was time for bed.
12/24/2010	Merry Christmas!! Finally it is Christmas Eve. It had snowed a lot over night so we went out and helped Daddy shovel while Mommy walked Miley. Then we all showered and dressed in our Christmas clothes - Mommy bought us red frilly shirts this year. We kept asking if we could open a gift and thankfully Jackie came over and brought us a gift of a 3D puzzle! That kept us busy for awhile. Then we opened a game and had fun playing that. We watched a Christmas show and then it was time for church. Afterwards we set out our snacks and had kids champagne too and then opened lots of presents! Callie and I gave each other pillow pets so we thought that was funny. We each got a DS game, clothes, books, and lots of other things too. It was a fun night and after 10 by the time we went to bed. We rememebered to set out cookies and carrots for Santa of course.
12/23/2010	Daddy is off until next year so we played video games with him this morning while Mommy went shopping. After lunch I had my friend, Mara, over to play. Then we all went out for supper at the Brazilian Restuarant and drove around to look at Christmas lights. We got out for a bit at Falls Park to walk around and look at the waterfall too.
12/22/2010	No school today - yippee! When we were getting ready to pick up Callie from the motel, Camille's mom called and said I should bring my suit and swim for awhile too with Camille's sister Ella. I was so happy and had lots of fun.
12/21/2010	Our school had our very first holiday sing along this morning. Mommy met us in the gym and they put the words up on the big screen so everyone could sing the songs together. It was fun! Callie had winter olympics in her room all day so she said they didn't do any work! Our parties were this afternoon. I had treats and games. Mommy was in charge of Callie's so she coudln't be at mine but I was ok with that. Callie had pizza, bingo, and pictionary. After school we showed Mommy our presents from our teacher and then Callie packed for her birthday sleepover and we took her to the motel. She is SO lucky to get to swim and have a sleepover - I was pretty jealous. We met Tom and Jace for supper so that helped cheer me up.
12/20/2010	Callie and I both got together with our book buddies and celebrated. My buddy had made me a card. Callie's buddy's teacher had made treats for everyone to share so it was a fun afternoon. Callie and I both had dentist appointments this afternoon so we weren't very excited about that but no cavities for either of us - yippee! Tomorrow is our last day of school for the year and our Christmas parties.
12/19/2010	Mommy went shopping this morning before it got crazy so we stayed home with Daddy. Later this afternoon we all went to the mall to take our gifts to the angel tree. We also wrapped our gifts for our teachers and our bus driver to deliver tomorrow. Christmas is getting closer - we are pretty excited!
12/18/2010	Everyone slept in until 9 and then we were lazy most of the day after that. Mommy got up to help with breakfast and then she and Daddy went back to bed until lunch time. After we ate then we all helped clean up the house - Mommy was pretty impressed by how fast we did it together. We played the Wii and Xbox after that. Daddy made scrambled eggs and toast for supper and then we watched some Christmas shows on TV and everyone went to bed early.
12/17/2010	Callie had to take treats again to school - this time it was for her ULE party. Mommy subbed this afternoon at our school so we met her in the classroom and got a ride home with her. We had to start getting ready for the party right away! Mommy had done quite a few things this morning but we helped with getting the cats locked on our bedrooms and putting the cookies out on the trays. I had a birthday party at Alishas right before our own party started so I was gone when people started coming but they were all here when I got home. Alisha's mom even came in and visited awhile when she dropped me off. The kids (16 of them!) played in the playroom and on the xbox connect so we kept busy. The adults (they beat the kids this year by one with 17) stayed upstairs around the food and drinks although they did come check out our dancing skills once in awhile! I was tired by midnight so Mommy tucked me in but quite a few guests stayed until 1:30 and Callie was up past 2.
12/16/2010	Happy 1/2 birthday Callie! She took treats today (gingerbread kids and chocolate covered candy canes) to celebrate since her birthday is in the summer. Mommy walked them in with her so she could check out her beautifully wrapped desk. We got Christmas money in the mail and I told Mommy I would really like to change some of it into pennies so I can give more to the Ronald McDonald house! Mommy had lots of cookies for us to snack on when we got home because she went to a cookie exchange.
12/15/2010	The library brought a puppet show to our school today so we were able to watch that this morning. Mommy had her last two finals today so she wanted to go out to celebrate! Daddy picked up Callie from ballet and met us at HuHot for supper.
12/14/2010	Mommy had another final presentation today. I forgot to tell you she came to help in my classroom yesterday before her final. She helped some students work on telling time so I was happy to see her there! After school Callie had art club so I rode the bus alone and then Avery invited me over. Callie took oreo balls to Art Club and the teacher brought hot chocolate. Mommy picked her up at 4 and then she came to Avery and Lauren's house too. Their dad brought us home at suppertime and then Callie and Daddy went Christmas shopping after we ate. Mommy and I played a game and then it was time for bed.
12/13/2010	Mommy had her first final today but instead of a test it was a presentation. I had my girl scout party after school and we decorated cupcakes, played bingo and a few other Christmas games. It was fun! After supper we frosted our cut out cookies from yesterday and Mommy made some more candies for the cookie exchange she is going to.
12/12/2010	Today was our baking day. We started right in the morning and decided to stay in our pjs all day. We made fudge, oreo balls, cut out cookies, gingerbread men, candies, snack mix, and kiss cookies. Kelly invited me to roller skate around 2:30 so I get dressed and left but Mommy and Callie finished up. I came home in time for supper and then it was time for showers and bed.
12/11/2010	We woke up this morning to a big blizzard! We had 8 inches of snow and it was still coming down. We picked up Uncle Tom and Jace for lunch and there were lots of cars that were stuck. We had pancakes, dropped them off back at home, and then headed home. Mommy had to finish her homework and then she watched Christmas movies with us by the fireplace. We even ate supper on TV trays - it was a cozy night.
12/9/2010	Today was Callie's STARBASE graduation. Daddy went to it since Mommy was subbing. Apparently she needs to learn how to say no when she has so much homework! She worked on her final projects after school and then after supper Callie helped quiz her to get her ready for her test! I have a really bad cold/cough and so I went to bed early to hopefully make it go away.
12/8/2010	I played at Nolan's after school and after Callie finished her homework she joined us. We have been playing down there once in awhile and having lots of snowball fights. There isn't much snow left now though. Mommy had so much to do and Callie didn't really want to go to ballet so she skipped it tonight.
12/7/2010	Callie started her "I Can" program today. It used to be the DARE program but they renamed it. A police officer comes in to class once a week for 10 weeks or so and teaches them all about saying no to drugs and things like that. Mommy subbed today so Daddy picked me up from school to take me to Taras and then Mommy picked me up when she was done. Mommy had a girl scout leader meeting tonight and while she was gone I stubbed my toe and it started bleeding. It was horrible and Daddy was on the phone and there were no band aids so it was a very bad night. Daddy helped me wrap it in kleenex and put a sock on and then I went to bed.
12/6/2010	Daddy was better so he went to work today. So far none of us has gotten sick so hopefully it stays that way. Callie had her Girl Scout Christmas party after school so we all went to ColdStone (even I got to go along). The girls had to bring a homemade gift to exchange. Callie had made a couple of ornaments and a bookmark. She got a bracelet. There were a lot of neat gifts!
12/5/2010	We woke up and found out Daddy got sick last night so he was sleeping in the guest room. We stayed quiet so he could rest and played for most of the day while Mommy worked on homework. She did take a break to take us to a neat nativiy scene collection display. There were over 100 different scenes that people had brought - some were even from different countries! They had cookies and punch too. We came home and Daddy was starting to feel better so he joined us for supper and then we had to start getting ready for bed.
12/4/2010	Grandma and Grandpa Robinson were in town last night for the bank's Christmas party. This morning Daddy took us to Home Depot for the project and we picked up Grandpa from the motel to join us. We dropped him back off afterwards so he could help Grandma pack up and then they came over to our house. Callie showed them her dollhouse and I showed them my desk and of course they met the kittens! We played a few games, had lunch, visited, and then they left for home. We went to the zoo to see the baby rhino and he is very cute! We headed home for supper, played and went to bed.
12/3/2010	We went over to Lauren and Avery's house after school today. They are all moved in to their new place so we could walk over and then we got the grand tour. Daddy picked us up after work since it was dark and much colder. He got us Burger King and we ate downstairs in the playroom and played school because Mommy and Daddy went out to eat on a date by themselves. They were home by 7:30 so we had time to hang out with them before bedtime.
12/1/2010	I fogot to tell you that Callie went to STARBASE again yesterday - she has a lot of fun there. Today she had ballet but we just dropped her off so Daddy picked her up. Mommy had supper ready when they got home. The kittens LOVE the tree, hopefully they won't knock it down! We started our chocolate advent calendars today - yummy!
11/30/2010	Mommy finished decorating the house today while we were at school and she put lights on the tree while Callie was in art club so after supper we decorated it! Callie and I always help Mommy unwrap each decoration and then we put it in the right pile (depending on whose ornament it is) and then we each hang our own but only after they are all unwrappped. The kittens are already trying to figure out how they can climb the tree so Mommy is not happy about that.
11/29/2010	I had Brownies afterschool today and we made Christmas wreaths out of tissue paper!
11/28/2010	Daddy had bought caramel rolls and blueberry cinnamon rolls (again with the blueberries) for breakfast - they were yummy! Mommy had gotten the Christmas books out last night so we had fun all morning reading those and playing library storytime with them. We helped Mommy set up her village and bring up a few other Christmas things but then she had to quit to work on homework instead. I went shopping with Daddy and bought Callie's gift already and then we came home and even wrapped it. So I have a gift without a tree to put it under - crazy!
11/27/2010	Mommy declared today cleaning day and informed us we could not put up any Christmas decorations until the house was clean. I helped in the begninning but I gave up after that and just stayed out of her way. Daddy actually cleaned his desk and the computer parts shelf which really impressed Mommy and Callie helped Mom with all the other rooms. We were all quite tired of cleaning by bedtime!
11/26/2010	Mommy woke up at 4:30 but stayed in bed until 5 when she finally decided to head out with Miley to the stores. Target was crazy busy so she just got a coffee and went to the other stores on her list because she didn't have anything important enough to stand in line for an hour for. She came back to the motel around 8, just when we were going to the breakfast room. We swam afterwards and the packed up and headed out for lunch. We said our good-byes and headed home around 4. I fell asleep around 6, right after we stopped for supper, and Mommy carried me in to bed and I slept all night long! Daddy and Callie went to Uncle Tom's to help him fix something on his phone before coming home to bed.
11/25/2010	Happy Thanksgiving! We watched the Macy's Day Parade at our motel after we ate breakfast. Miley sure does great in the motel - she mostly just sleeps next to us. We headed out to the Robinsons at lunchtime and had to play of course. Uncle Chuch came later and then we all ate our big feast. Daddy told me I should say I am thankful for Obama if we go around the table just to tease Grandpa! Callie and I both read thanksgiving stories that we wrote. We played games and gave a program later to the grown-ups. They were pretty impressed because we had written the words and came up with dance moves to the song too! We headed back to the room around 8 and got ready for bed - even Mommy because she wanted to get up early.
11/24/2010	We woke up and went to the breakfast room which was really big and fun! We went to Target after that and then stopped at Grandpa Ivey's office so Daddy could get an adjustment. We took Grandma out to lunch (Grandpa had to stay and work longer) and then we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house. We played and visted and then we all went to Pizza Ranch for supper. Grandma and Grandpa came to our motel after that to watch us swim and after that it was bedtime.
11/23/2010	Happy Birthday Grandpa Ivey! Today was Callie's big day. She was Marco Polo at the wax musuem. Only fourth graders and parents were invited though so I didn't get to see her. Mommy went and took lots of canned food for the food pantry to exchange it for tickets. Each fifth grader had a little cup by their foot so you put your ticket in it and they came to life giving you a speech about themselves. Mommy learned about lots of explorers since she gave tickets to all the girl scouts, some of Callie's other friends, and some kids that seemed like they weren't getting anyone to come by - she didn't want anyone feeling left out! After school I had an apointment with Tara and while we were there Mommy and Daddy decided while texting that we would leave for Aberdeen tonight. We got home a little after four and we had to pack very quickly! Dadddy came home and loaded the car and then we were off to pick up supper and on the road before 7. Grandma Robinson got a motel room for us so we were excited to see how Miley would like it - we wanted to take her in an elevator but we were on the first floor so we didn't need to. Everyone was pretty tired so we went right to bed, except Mommy who ran the turkey out to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house.
11/22/2010	I was pretty excited today because it was my field trip to the Ronald McDonalad House! We have been saving and counting pennies all year long and today we finally reached over $200! It was fun to see all the bedrooms, playroom and big kitchen. I told Mommy they even have a Wii for the guests to play. The lady told us two families are there right now because they both have babies that were born too early. They have both been there for a month already! We are going to keep saving pennies the rest of the school year for them. Callie had Girl Scouts today and one of the girls led the meeting so they worked on keeping healthy patch.
11/21/2010	Mommy and Callie had a lot of homework today and I became very bored. Daddy said he would take me and a friend to Excite so I made some calls and found someone to come with. Avery and I had a lot of fun and when it was time to come home, Mommy and Callie were finished so we ate supper and had a nice evening together before bed.
11/20/2010	Callie and Mommy went to get what Callie needed to be Maro Polo. She had capris and a white shirt but she needed long white socks. She is borrowing my beret and she made a beard out of pipe cleaners! Mommy went scrapbooking at Kim's house tonight. She picked up Dena and they headed out there around 6:30.
11/18/2010	Mommy went with Callie to STARBASE today. They went to the army base and a teacher is in charge of all sorts of experiments. They mixed different chemicals with water and tested the temperatures watching how one made it cold and one made it warm. Then they built straw rockets and launched them in a gym which was really fun I guess. They also played around with this neat computer program that builds plastic model cars and they learned how to do parts of that. Their last day there they will all get a car so I can see it then! Mommy rode on the bus with them back and then she waited the 15 minutes until we got out of school and she took us home.
11/15/2010	I had Girl Scouts today and we worked on our family patch by making family coupon books. Mommy is saving them so we can wrap them for our Christmas gifts for our parents later. Her co-leader was out of town today and Mommmy had a meeting at 4 so a teacher who is also a mom of a Brownie agreed to watch us play outside while the parents came to pick everyone up since Mommy had to leave early. Daddy came to pick us up too. We dropped off Alisha and then hung out at home until Mommy's meeting was over.
11/13/2010	This morning Daddy and Callie went shopping for a bit while I stayed home with Mommy. After lunch Mommy wanted to shop for a bookshelf but we wanted to stay home and play so just Daddy joined her. They hung their TV on the wall and moved their TV stand to Callie's room to hold her dollhouse so now Mommy wants a bookshelf in her room instead. She couldn't find what she wants though so they came home without one. Mommy and Callie spent some time working on the dollhouse again - they are trying to finish a few things before moving it to her bedroom.
11/12/2010	Mommy heard Callie and Lauren up a little before 6. They slept downstairs in the guest room so they just started doing crafts in the kitchen when they woke up. Avery and I slept until 7:30, right before Daddy had to go to work. We ate breakfast, packed up, and played a bit before their Mom picked them up at 9. They had to go early because Mommy had to go to class at 10. Callie and I had fun playing school again while she was at class and then she was back home but we hardly noticed since we were so busy.
11/11/2010	Happy Veteran's Day. I wanted to know if we knew anyone else that was a veteran besides Uncle Chuck and Great Grandma Ivey but Mommy and Daddy couldn't think of anyone at the moment. I asked tons of questions about what those two did during their service and Mommy wasn't really sure of the answers - sheesh she needs to find out some more details I guess! We helped Mommy do some quick cleaning and then went to run errands after lunch. At 3, we picked up our friends, Lauren and Avery, for a sleepover! We made lots of crafts, played school and barbies, and had tons of fun. Daddy brought home pizza for us on his way home from work and then we played more. Avery and I went to bed around 9:30 and then Lauren and Callie went to bed about 11, right around the time Daddy got home from darts.
11/10/2010	Mommy was excited because she registered for all her spring classes today and was able to get everything she wanted so she is still on track for student teaching next school year! We were excited because today is our last day of school this week. Callie had ballet and since Daddy had to work at Omnitech after DakotaCare we waited for her and then went to pick up subs for supper. We watched tv and ate dinner and then played school until bedtime.
11/9/2010	Mommy picked me up from school today so we could go right to Tara's. I have been keeping a binder where I journal my feelings and so I took it to show Tara so Mommy said I sure looked important carrying my binder and folder back to her office! I have been doing really well so Mommy and Tara think I can start seeing her only once a month soon. Since I tend to have a lot of anxiety in December with all the festivities and company, we may wait until January to switch to that schedule. We picked up Callie from Art Club after my appointment and headed home.
11/8/2010	Callie had Girl Scouts today so I met them there. Mommy gave her presentation in her class today so she told us she would be late but she wasn't! Two of the girls led the meeting so Mommy just had to watch and help keep the girls focused. It was really nice out today (it reached 70) so the girls took us on a nature hike around the school.
11/7/2010	We slept until 7 so Mommy was glad that it worked out keeping us up later and then we had fun playing. Mommy and Daddy even left for a coffee date for awhile. After lunch, we had playdates over and kept busy all afternoon. Mommy had some homework and then she helped Daddy outside. They raked, mowed, and brought some things into the garage for winter. Now she just hopes she has time to clean the garage before winter comes! Our friends left around 5 and then we grilled for supper - it was a beautiful day/evening outside!
11/6/2010	We were lazy for a bit this morning and then we had to all get prettied up for our family pictures we had taken. It was pretty windy out so Mommy is not sure how they are going turn out but she is excited anyway because we haven't had a professional family picture since I was born! IT was so cold out and I had to keep taking my coat off and I stepped in mud which got on my brand new boots so I started getting pretty cranky. Mommy finally had to resort to bribery and promised me Chuck E Cheese if I could just smile a bit longer. We all went out for a late lunch then and came home and played the rest of the day. Mommy scrapbooked and Daddy tinkered on his computers until bedtime, which was even late because we got the extra hour!
11/5/2010	Callie was very excited for today because it was her second StarBase field trip. She did a lot more neat experiments and they were working on a fighter jet so they peeked inside it and saw the controls! Mommy picked us up from school today because we went to get our haircut right away. I got mine a bit shorter so it can get closer to my bangs, which I am trying to grow out. I refuse to wear barrettes though so it is driving Mommy nuts. We forgot to stop for pasta noodles so Callie rode her bike to the store to buy us some all by herself - Mommy was very thankful. Mommy had Kim and Dena over for Girl's scrapbook night which they are going to start doing way more often so Daddy took us to Excite. We met Uncle Tom and Jace there and had a lot of fun. Once we came home Daddy tucked us in so we didn't bother their scrapbooking session and he headed downstairs to watch TV.
11/4/2010	I was pretty excited because Mommy said she could finally meet me for lunch today! It was Grandparents week at school so lots of grandparents were coming to eat lunch with my friends and then shopping at the book fair together so Mommy said she would come instead. At the last minute though we decided since I had bought a book at the book fair, that we would go out to eat instead. Mommy took me to McDonalds and it was a lot of fun! She said next time she has a free day she will have to take Callie out so it's fair. We met Daddy for supper tonight and saw Jason and Abby eating there too! Daddy had darts tonight so had to hurry back home so he could get ready to leave and then it was bedtime for us.
11/3/2010	Callie had ballet today and Mommy thought it would be fun to go to the downtown library since it is pretty close. We found some books and then it was time to pick her back up. Daddy got home before us and made supper so we were able to eat right away and then had time to play before bed.
11/2/2010	Mommy picked us up today to surprise us and then we had to go vote with her. Mrs. Hofer told us to try and go along so I was happy that Mommy waited for us. We all went shopping after that because Callie and I have outgrown most of our pants so we really need some new ones. After trying on quite a few pairs, Callie found a a few but I only found one. The other pair Mommy bought will still have to be brought in a bit because my waist is just too tiny for the size I need for my height!
11/1/2010	Today was Brownies and we went to Color Me Mine, a paint your own pottery store. Callie went home on the bus to hang out and since Camille had to go home too, they talked to each other on the phone the whole time! All the brownies painted celebration plates, part of our family patch that we are earning. We came home to get Callie and once Daddy was home too, we all went back to school for conferences. PTO has a fundraiser supper during this time so we ate first. Then we headed to Callie's room and since she had to lead her own conference so she was nervous. She did a great job though and of course is doing wonderful in school. She showed us some work hanging up and then we headed to my conference. I had work in the hallway too and Mrs. Hofer said I am doing a great job too. I read way above a second grader but just have to practice being louder when I read out loud (Mommy said if only she could hear me at home - ha!). We ended the night at the book fair and Mommy and Daddy let us each pick out a book!
10/31/2010	Happy Halloween! We got up and carved jack-o-lanterns right away this morning and then showered before heading to Caribou. Kids got free hot chocolate if they were in their costumes so of course we dressed up. Then we came home to hang out for awhile until it was time to go to the museum. They had trick-or-treating there and a scavenger hunt. PLUS they had a costume contest and Callie won one of the prizes! I was a little sad and upset about that but I handled it better than Mommy was expecting. We went to Eric's house and then to Qdoba for an early supper because you guessed it, kids ate free with costumes on! We were home by 5 and we had trick-or-treaters already. Mommy should have taken this as a sign (but she didn't) that tonight was BUSY. We rarely have many kids come to our house so this year she didn't buy much candy and we had TONS of kids. I put some of my candy that I had gotten earlier in the basket to give to them because we were running out! Jace came over around 6:30 so that is when we started walking around to the neighbors. Mommy stayed home and then we all came home to trade. Jace left, Daddy stayed home and Mommy took us out. I got tired so we came home again and then Callie's friend Alex came by so she and Mommy went back out with them for awhile. Finally it was time for home and bed - it was sure a fun day!
10/30/2010	Callie's snowplow blade was being debuted today so we went to that at lunchtime. There were 25 plows that had blades painted by different schools so we walked around and looked at them all. Callie had her picture taken with the Mayor and then they had free lunch for everyone there. We headed home and called Camille and Ella over to play except they were heading out to a Halloween Party at the country club so they invited us with! It was SO much fun. We went through a haunted house, painted huge pumpkins that we "picked" off the golf course, decorated cookies, made caramel apples, and ate supper there. I told Mommy that we should really join that place because they took us this summer to swim there too so it sure is fun! Mommy and Daddy went for a drink and supper while we were gone so they enjoyed their time too. We watched some tv once we got home and then it was time for bed.
10/29/2010	Today was our class parties so we were excited. Mommy told us she didn't know if she could get there since she was going to be at another school but she said she would try. She missed our parade but she did get there during our parties so we were excited. Callie's class had snacks and played matball. My class had snacks, made a spider craft, and played a mummy game with toilet paper. We headed home for a bit and then my friend, Kelly, picked me up to trick-or-treat at a local college where her dad works. We even at supper at Burger King on the way home!
10/28/2010	Happy Birthday Mommy! She had to observe in middle school this morning (after she got her free coffee from Caribou) and then she met Daddy for lunch. She went shopping all afternoon and then after school we went with her to the party store so she could get some last touches for her costume. We met Daddy at Red Rosa for supper and gave Mommy her gifts there. We gave her a CD and a new sparkly watch! We went home for cake and then Daddy had darts and we had to get to bed.
10/27/2010	Today was Red Day at school because we talked about wellness and staying drug-free. We had an assembly which I told Mommy was very boring. I went to Brooke's house after school and then Mommy dropped Callie off at ballet but by the time she got home, it was time to come back and get me so she didn't really have any time to herself. It was SUPER cold today so Mommy made chili and we had to wear our winter coats to school.
10/26/2010	Mommy picked me up from school today to see Tara and Callie had art club. Mommy came in and talked with Tara and we showed her my binder I have been working on. We also talked about moving me to only seeing her once a month soon. Callie finished up the snow blade and they are picking it up because on Saturday the Mayor is unveiling it to the public.
10/25/2010	Callie's troop had Girl Scouts today and they toured Avera Hospital and I went along. I was excited because I kept remembering places I had seen when Grandma Ivey was there. We were all very excited to meet their robot, Nano. She delivers medicine from the pharmacy and has to ride in the elevator alone so no one can steal the medicine. We also saw Easy Street which is their rehab area and it looks like a town! There is a grocery store, theater, laundromat, bank, curbs, part of a car they can practice getting into, and even an apartment with a kitchen where patients can practice cooking again. We ended the tour at the nursery and saw a cute baby girl. At supper I told Mommy that I would really like her to have a baby but I don't think she is going to deliver on that request. Callie had her orchestra and band concert tonight so she was a little bit nervous. The teachers showed what they have been learning and especially in band they could mostly only show notes but they did play one song. It was late by the time we got to bed so Mommy is afraid we will all be tired and crabby tomorrow.
10/24/2010	Can you guess where Daddy took us for breakfast? Yep, Hardees! Just in case you didn't know how excited he was about Hardees, that should help. We were pretty excited to have Mommy come home. She got here around 3:30 and then after a quick hug we went to sell more Girl Scout nuts. I went along to keep Callie company but my troop isn't selling them.
10/23/2010	We talked to Mommy this morning. She and Dena found Kim on the side of the road on the way to their scrapbook retreat - she had been in a car accident! Thankfully she and the lady who hit her were ok. I made sure to ask if her scrapbook things were ok too and they were! I guess they have a very nice cabin where they are sleeping and then a large cabin where everyone meets up to scrapbook and eat meals. It sounds like they are having lots of fun. It was Father/Daughter Girl Scout Day at the Outdoor Campus so we went there at 1. There were six stations we rotated through so we played games, went on a nature hike, built birdhouses, archery, and made smacos which are like smores but instead of graham crackers you put it in a tortilla! Afterwards Daddy took us to Avery's birthday party at the Wellness Center so we got to swim and have pizza. He took us out for ice cream after that and we went home for bedtime.
10/22/2010	Mommy's morning class was cancelled so she was happy to have some time to pack all of her things! We came home after school and Mommy was pretty much all ready to go. She had a snack with us and talked about our day and then she gave us big hugs and kisses. Dena picked her up and they left. We weren't too sad so Mommy was glad because it made it easier for her to leave. Daddy came home at 5 and we went to Hardees for supper because he is SO excited that we have a Hardees again. We met Jace and Tom at Excite after that to jump on inflatables and then it was time to head home and go to bed.
10/21/2010	Callie had her muscial play today at school for all the kids and then tonight for the parents. It was just the fifth graders and they performed many of Aesop's Fables and then had songs in between. Some of them were African songs so they used xylophones and bongo drums - it was really neat. Callie played the recorder during one of the songs with a group of three other girls and she did a great job!
10/20/2010	Mommy had the NASA workshop again today so she left early. She has been making really neat things there and brought some home yesterday. She gets to fly a kite today that she made and shoot off a few different kinds of rockets. We rode the bus home today and she came home not too long after we did. Callie had ballet so we dropped her off and Daddy picked her up afterwards.
10/19/2010	Mommy had to go to a NASA workshop at the Pavillion today so she left early. Daddy had to finish getting us ready and then took us to school like normal. Callie had Art club afterschool and Mommy didn't want me to come home alone by myself so she had asked a teacher who has a daughter my age if I could stay after school with her in the classroom. When Mommy subs there, I sometimes would head down to play with her and of course the teacher said it wasn't a problem at all. Once Mommy got done with her workshop, she picked me up at school and we did some shopping until it was time to pick up Callie from Art club.
10/18/2010	I had Brownies after school today! We worked on our All in the Family patch today by making family time capsules. We came home to let Miley out and get our rollerskates and then headed to the mall to get my glasses adjusted because they have been bothering me. Daddy met us there so we could eat a quick supper and then he went home to work while went to Carousel Skate for our school's roller skating party! I saw LOTS of my friends and Callie found a few but not as many fifth graders came for some reason. She still had fun though and we took home Alex, her friend who lives close to us. He is very nice but of course I got crazy and goofy in the car so I think Callie was embarrassed.
10/17/2010	We decided to go out for brunch today and then Mommy had to stop at Michaels for some scrapbooking things to get ready for her big weekend coming up.
10/16/2010	Mommy and Callie ran a few errands today so Daddy and I went to Sam's club. We all met back home for lunch and then I had to get ready for Reagan's birthday party. It was at the Wellness Center's pool so I was pretty excited. Daddy took me and Mommy picked me up at 4. After supper we went shopping for Halloween costume accessorries. I am trying to find a beret to be an artist and Callie still doesn't know what she wants so she just looked.
10/15/2010	Callie woke up in the middle of the night because her throat hurt and her fever was pretty high so Mommy said no school again today. I didn't think that was very fair - Callie didn't have to go ALL week! Yesterday my friend brought our whole class pumpkins and gourds so we measured and weighed them in math class. Today we took them home. Daddy worked from home so he could be there if Callie needed something since Mommy was gone at class and her school she is observing and helping at. Callie was feeling up to playing outside when I got home so we had fun in the leaves and then Mommy got all the Halloween stuff out so we played witches. I think she is finally feeling better.
10/14/2010	Callie stayed home again today and actually felt worse it seemed. The doctor's office called and said she DOES have strep so to keep taking her medicine and that she wouldn't be contagious if she felt better tomorrow. Mommy and I had eye appointments after school so Callie just stayed home and rested. I can stop doing drops now and Mommy is trying out a new kind of contact. Daddy ate supper with us but then he headed out to darts and Callie and went to bed after that.
10/13/2010	Callie woke up in the middle night feeling bad again so Mommy knew she wouldn't be going back to school. Daddy had to take today off to watch her because Mommy had a big group presentation today she was giving. She felt pretty bad all day so when Mommy got home she ran her to the Dr and they aren't sure if she has strep (and even mentioned mono) but they gave her some medicine to take while they are waiting for her culture to come back. I guess she won't go back tomorrow either!
10/12/2010	We had school off today too (the teachers had inservice) but Callie wasn't feeling that well so she mostly watched TV. Mommy realized she was running a fever so she took some medicine and that made her feel well enough to play with me for awhile. Around supper she started feeling icky again and her throat was sore so Mommy made noodles so it would be easy to swallow and we both went to bed early.
10/11/2010	We didn't have school today because it is Native American Day but poor Mommy still has classes. Daddy was home so we all hung out in the morning but then he went with Jon, who was speaking at a luncheon, so we went out for lunch with Aunt Michelle. She took us to the Diner and then since it was my 1/2 birthday (well maybe not really because of that but it was a good excuse) we went to the cupcake store - yummy! Callie played Happy Birthday to me on the violin too. Mommy came home then and we all went to the playground for awhile. Daddy took Michelle and Jon for a drink while Mommy got us McDonalds and took us home to play. She met up with the other adults for a nice long dinner with drinks and we did a great job at home by ourselves so Mommy was very proud of us. We had to say our goodbyes tonight because they are leaving at 5am tomorrow.
10/10/2010	This morning we had to play on the wheelchair for awhile again and Daddy took us on one more ride on the four-wheeler and then we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house. They had a huge bucket of pennies they sent home with me so I will keep busy counting those! We played for awhile and then we had to say goodbye because Michelle and Jon were heading back to our house. We barely beat them home and then Daddy grilled supper for us and later he went and got Dairy Queen for dessert.
10/9/2010	We packed our bags quickly this morning and Mommy decided at the last minute to join us so Miley came then too. Mommy tried to do her homework in the car on the way so we kept outselves busy reading and playing games. We were excited to see everyone at Grandma and Grandpa Iveys already. Jace and Uncle Tom were riding around in the wheelchair so of course I had to insist on my turn right away! We played all afternoon and then Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin came over to watch as did Great Grandma Ivey. We even started playing on Great Grandpa's scooter too! Everyone sat down to a big turkey dinner and a yummy dessert after that.
10/8/2010	It's Friday! After school, Callie's Girl Scout troop had a field trip to Dakota Stained Glass so Mommy dropped me off at Alisha's house to play. The girls had voted to make nightlights so the lady showed them exactly how to cut glass and use the grinders to smooth the edges and then they all worked at their own pace. Mommy said they were very creative and she can't wait to pick up Callie's next Saturday after it is fired. Daddy picked me up at 5 and we met Mommy and Callie back home after that.
10/7/2010	Callie and I got ready pretty quickly so we could have some time to visit with Michelle before we left for school. She and Jon left for Aberdeen after us so we weren't too sad about going. Tonight was the Hobby Fair so I had to get all my stuff together after school. Callie had her display board finished this weekend so she just loaded hers into the car. We met Daddy for a quick supper because we had to be at school at 5:45 to set up. I had my collection of stuffed animals and Callie did hers on magic and she even dressed up like a magician. Her display was quite popular and she performed magic tricks for lots of kids and adults so I was feeling left out. I told Mommy only FOUR people talked to me. She tried to make me feel better by telling me that this was Callie's last year but it didn't help much.
10/6/2010	Callie and I were both pretty excited this morning because Michelle and Jon come tonight! Callie had ballet this afternoon and then we walked over to Mama's Ladas and met Uncle Tom, Amber, Jace, Daddy, and Michelle and Jon there for supper. We ate outside so it was really fun! Afterwards everyone came over to our house for a short while but then it was bedtime because tomorrow is school.
10/5/2010	Daddy helped me carry all my pennies in and we found out that we will be going on a field trip to the Ronald McDonald house to see how our pennies our helping! Did I tell you that we have studying China and we had to eat Chinese food in class! Our teacher had us try rice, water chestnuts, green tea, and fortune cookies. I liked the cookie but that was it! Callie had art club after school so I came home on the bus alone and then went back with Mommy to pick up Callie at 4.
10/4/2010	I had Brownies after school today and I did a great job there. Mommy has been very happy that I am in much better control now and even the co-leader noticed! We walked to the park with Mommy and Miley when we got home because it was SO nice out. After supper Callie and I played so Mommy and Daddy walked Miley to Walgreens to get a movie from Redbox. I finished counting my pennies Grandma Ivey brought me and it ended being $22.07! My bag is super heavy so Daddy is going to help me carry it in tomorrow.
10/3/2010	Mommy and Daddy decided since we aren't going to Sunday School this year they still want a coffee date so we played at home in our pjs while they went out for coffee so we all had a fun morning. Daddy went to get Maggie from the kennel so she could play with Miley and be here when Grandma and Grandpa Ivey flew in. They came to pick up the dog around 1 and visited for a few minutes but then they wanted to head back home. Daddy grilled for supper and then it was time for showers and bed.
10/1/2010	It's October! We let the kittens out of Mommy's room today - they seem to be feeling pretty good. Mommy started her practicum in the first grade class this afternoon. She told me they were learning about sinking and floating and I remember when I did that last year!
9/30/2010	Mommy took her first sub job this morning. She said she must be crazy because it was going to be the first day she didn't have any running or homework so she was going to stay home and relax but then she just couldn't say no to the job. I went over to Alisha's house after school and Callie had Madison over so we both had fun afternoons. Daddy had darts tonight so we read with Mommy and then it was time for bed.
9/29/2010	Zelda and Reese seem to be doing very well considering they were both spayed and declawed! Mommy has them closed in her room so they don't run around as much. They are sleeping a lot but they don't seem to be in too much pain. Callie had ballet today so Mommy just dropped her off and then Daddy picked her up.
9/28/2010	We did a great job getting ready for school even though we had company so Mommy was pretty impressed. Daddy dropped us off and then Mommy met Callie's ULE class at the Outdoor campus for her field trip. IT was all the gifted fifth graders from 1/2 the schools - the other half go tommorrow. They tested the water quality of the river so it was really a neat project. Mommy stayed for awhile but had to leave to observe middle school students. After Mommy left, Callie slipped in the mud/water while trying to get a sample! Daddy came over for lunch at the park with her and helped lay out her socks in the sun but it didn't help much. She just had to wait and dry out. Mommy had a room parent meeting after her observation and then she picked me up after school to take me to Tara's for my appointment. Callie had art club so she went BACK to school to pick Callie up and then back to Tara's to pick me up. Then we had to go pick up the kittens from the vet! I think she was VERY tired tonight - in fact she started falling asleep while I was reading to her!
9/27/2010	Mommy dropped us off at school and then took the kittens to the vet. She had class all day and then she had to stop back at our school to make copies for her room parent meeting tomorrow. Callie had Girl Scouts after school and she was the leader so she worked on a 3-D Art patch and had the girls do a project with clay, with pipe cleaners, origami, and they started making a mobile too but ran out of time. Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came over after supper - they are flying to Rhode Island tomorrow so they are staying at our house tonight. She brought me lots of pennies for my class and we played Uno. Callie played her flute for them and then it was time for bed.
9/26/2010	Callie had to work on Girl Scout things today because tomorrow she is leading the meeting! Mommy had homework so I had Alisha over to play. We walked her home around 4:30 and then Daddy grilled chicken tonight so we ate supper and got ready for our new week. We had to put all cat food away at 8 because the kittens have their surgery tomorrow.
9/25/2010	Mommy decided today was cleaning day so we all had to help. We cleaned our bedrooms while Mommy worked on other rooms and Daddy worked on laundry. We even put some things in the garage that Daddy is going to try and sell on Craig's list. Finally by 6 Mommy was done so we packed stuff up to head out to Charlie and Glorias. We ate supper out there and then roasted marshmallows on their bonfire. Miley had fun playing and running around with Cayenne but then she ran through places with lots of burs and she was covered in them! We fell asleep on the way home so Mommy and Daddy carried us in but then they had to stay up and cut all the burs out of Miley's fur.
9/24/2010	The tooth fairy came and left me $10 AND peace earrings. I was pretty excited about that. I think I forgot to tell you that awhile back I was stung by a bee for my very first time. I was quite proud of myself for not crying. I as at recess and just had to go to the office to get an ice pack for my finger.
9/23/2010	I was nervous all day today at school. Mommy picked us up and it was raining again - yuck! I was holding her hand pretty tight in the waiting room but doing ok until they called my name and then I lost it. I cried and clung to her and she felt pretty bad for me. They came and told her I calmed down pretty quickly and then they gave me happy gas and all was well. They pulled FOUR teeth out and I came out and was doing pretty good. They bled for a long time so Daddy said I should start by eating ice cream for supper so the cold would maybe help the bleeding stop. After ice cream then I ate mac and cheese while we watched Survivor. I wrote the tooth fairy a note to remind her I have pierced ears and I sat my teeth in the kitchen because I don't like her coming in my room.
9/22/2010	I have been having a hard time sleeping lately and I told Mommy it was because I keep dreaming about getting my teeth pulled (which I have to have done tomorrow). It was pouring and hailing today on the bus ride home from school but luckily it had really let up when he dropped us off. Callie had ballet at 4:30 and it got really long waiting for her so Mommy said maybe we will start dropping her off and having Daddy pick her up.
9/21/2010	Callie joined the new art club at school. We have a new art teacher and she started a club for 3rd-5th graders to work on community art projects. The first one they get to do is paint a mural on a snow plow blade. We picked her up at 4 and then came home for a little while. Daddy picked us up after work and we all went back to school for the pizza picnic night! After eating pizza, we went to play on the equipment and Callie fell off the monkey bars on her head! We had to go home then and she was very sore and had a headache the rest of the night.
9/20/2010	I had my first Girl Scout meeting today. Mommy ironed on my patches on my new vest yesterday so I could wear it. We worked on our first Try It patch today and made sit-upons. Callie and Camille helped us. We met Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace for supper tonight and found out that Amber is having a boy!! They had their ultrasound today. I helped Daddy mark all the sprinklers with flags tonight because some people are coming to work on our yard I guess.
9/19/2010	We picked Callie up at 10 and found out she had stayed up until 2am last night - yikes! We went out to the apple orchard to pick apples later in the afternoon and Kelly came with us. Callie had a lot of homework she had to finish and of course she is trying to practice her violin and flute too so she is busy.
9/18/2010	Daddy took us to the pavilion this morning because Mommy was having someone over to help on PTO stuff and they needed to work in quiet. We came home after lunch but Mommy had to work on homework and girl scout things all day so I had Kelly over to play while Callie packed for her sleepover. Mommy dropped her at Nancy's house at 6 and then we ate supper and I watched a movie with Daddy while Mommy did MORE homework.
9/17/2010	Today was red, white, and blue day because it is Constitution Day. Mommy had class today and we all met back at home when we got off the bus. We were pretty lazy tonight and just played and hung out since everyone was kind of tired.
9/16/2010	We didn't sleep in so Mommy was tired this morning since she was up late last night. We ate breakfast and went swimming. This time Bridget, Mommy, and Daddy came too. Even Grandma came for a bit as well. After we were dressed, we watched some TV while Mommy and Bridget played games in the lobby. Eventually we headed down to the lobby and played games with Grandma. We packed our car and checked out but since Bridget and Grandma and Grandpa were staying we still hung out at the motel. We all ate lunch together and then played some more games and then it was time to say good-bye. We picked up Miley on the way into town and then Mommy made supper and we had to shower and get to bed.
9/15/2010	We ate breakfast this morning with Bridget and then got ready for the funeral. Callie and I rode with Grandma and Grandpa and I noticed right away that someone moved the picture and put it under Great Grandma's hands! After the funeral we drove to the cemetary and then we went back to the church for lunch. Someone took pictures of all the grandchildren and then the grandchildren, spouses, and great grandchildren. Bridget started feeling sick so we took her back to the motel with us and she watched us swim. We swam a long time and then we decided to go bowling. Bridget was feeling better so she wanted to go. Grandma even met us there and watched! We went for dinner and then Mommy went with Bridget and Grandma back to Charlenes while Daddy took me and Callie to the room to watch some TV and get to bed.
9/14/2010	Mommy and Daddy picked us up from school and we left for Norfolk right away. Mommy had already taken Miley to Top Dog and the car was packed so we got to our motel about 5:30. Bridget was there and they had food sitting in out the lobby so we ate supper quickly and headed to the funeral home. I had an appointment this morning with Tara and I drew a picture of me and Great Grandma and wrote on it "I miss you" and "I love you." I had Mommy ask if we could put it in with Great Grandma so we sat it nicely next to her. I met some of Mommy's cousins that she hadn't seen for a long time. Then we went to Charlenes and all the kids had fun playing while the adults visted. It was late when we got back to the motel.
9/13/2010	Today was Callie's first Girl Scout meeting of the year. They talked about quite a few things they want to do this year and then they worked on their scrapbooks from last year. We packed our clothes tonight because we are going to leave tomorrow right after school.
9/12/2010	Happy Grandparents Day! Alisha went home around 11 and then Daddy and I worked on putting my new desk together. We received sad news today - Great Grandma Sunderman died early this morning. So we will be heading to Nebraska soon for the funeral.
9/11/2010	Mommy and Callie were going to go to the sidewalk festival today but it looked super busy and she just wasn't in the mood so they just went shopping instead while Daddy and I hung out at home. Callie's friend Jade and her cousin stopped over to play for awhile so I went outside with them. They brought their rollerblades so we got ours on too. Alisha's mom called around supper to see if she could come over while they went to the football game. Mommy decided she might as well sleep over since football games end late so we had lots of fun playing.
9/10/2010	Mommy took us to school again today and then she had to get a coffee before school because she was tired this morning! Callie has been working all week on a group project where each group was assigned a tribe to learn about and build a shelter for. Today was the open house where parents could come and look at all the projects. Mommy had class and Daddy was out of town so Uncle Tom was very nice and said he could leave work for a little while so Callie wouldn't be sad. He even brought Jace and Mommy ended up getting out of class 10 minutes early so she was able to sneak it about 5 minutes before they had to clean up the projects! We all went out for ice cream afterwards and then Callie had a doctor's appointment so Tom took me to the mall. Mommy and Callie met us out there and he left to go back to work and we went shopping and then out for supper. Daddy got home around 8 and he brought us fun things like stickers and pens from the conference so we were excited. It was late when we all went to bed!
9/9/2010	Mommy took us to school again today and then she had the day off. She did have to pick me up at lunchtime for a doctor's appointment and then she took me back to school. I had Alisha over after school so we had fun playing until supper. We talked to Daddy again before bedtime - he is having fun in Omaha but we sure miss him.
9/8/2010	Mommy took us to school and then she had school herself! I had a field trip to the outdoor campus this morning to learn more about birds. We took a hike outside and listened to a speaker and then we made a birdfeeder out of a bagel, crisco, and birdseed. We rode the bus home and Mommy just got there too - she was tired from her day at school. We hung out at home for a bit and then Callie had her first day of dance. It was at the new studio and she is learning a very strict Russian method of ballet called Cecchetti. She enjoyed it I guess! Then we went home for supper and talked to Daddy on the phone before going to bed.
9/7/2010	Happy Birthday Great Grandma Anglin! Daddy took us to school this morning and then he went to Omaha for work. Callie was pretty sad because he is going to be gone until Friday night.
9/6/2010	I slept in until a little after 8 and Callie slept until 9! We ate breakfast and then went swimming again. Daddy watched us because Mommy went with Grandma to visit Great Grandma Sunderman. When she got back it was time to get dressed and pack up to go home. We said our good-byes and then went to the mall for lunch. We were home by 3:30 so we had time to play and do homework before supper.
9/5/2010	We swam after eating in the breakfast room and Grandma came to watch for awhile. Daddy and I went back to room when I got tired but Callie stayed for a long time. Mommy's aunt and cousin came down with her little boy and they swam too. Finally Callie came back up to get dressed. After Mommy and Daddy were ready we went to get Grandpa to join us for lunch at Sonic. We walked over and ate on the picnic tables. Then we walked around a music/book store and Daddy bought us comic books! THe motel lobby had games so MOmmy played a few board games with me and then Grandma came back so she walked us to Culvers and bought us ice cream - yummy! I was tired so Daddy and I napped while Mommy read and Callie hung out with Grandma and Grandpa and then it was time to get ready for the reception. It was at Mommy's aunt and uncle's bar so we were very curious to see what a bar looked like. I thought it was exactly what I thought it would look like but Callie said it was nothing like she had thought. We played with some other kids there and ate lots of cake of course. Then we all went over to Mommy's aunt's house to play more. It was late when we got back to the room so we went right to bed.
9/4/2010	We packed this morning and left around lunchtime after dropping off Miley at Top Dog. We got to Ponca and then Grandpa had to meet us on the gravel roads because Jacque lives in the middle of nowhere! She had a neat place by the river with a guesthouse and another cabin that had a kitchen and lots of tables in it, just right for a big party. Callie and I were the only kids until a little girl woke up from her nap but she was only two and so she didn't play much. I did read her a story though. Mostly Callie and I threw rocks in the river and searched for toads and bugs. We left around supper time and headed for Norfolk next to check in our motel. We swam until our pizza was delivered and then we ate and went to bed.
9/3/2010	No school today so we were busy playing all day. Mommy had to run to her school to get her ID and parking pass but we had no interest in coming along. We decided to go to a football game tonight since we have never been to one and Mommy thinks the last one she went to was probably when she was in highschool! We were so excited and had to make signs to hold up except we didn't know who we were rooting for. Mommy said if we went with Charlie and Gloria, we would root for Washington, but if we didn't, we would cheer for Lincoln, the high school we will go to. They didn't come so we sat on Lincoln's side. It was really cold tonight so we had to wear pants and of course none of them are long enough anymore so I guess we have to go shopping soon! Callie saw some friends at the game and we watched the band play too. We left during third quarter because we started to get bored and I was tired, plus Lincoln was way behind.
9/2/2010	Today was our last day of school for the week - yippee! Callie is doing a big social studies project so she brought home a list of supplies she needs next week because they are going to be building a model shelter that for their group's tribe that they were assigned. Callie and I were having lots of fun playing after dinner so Mommy let us stay up a little later tonight.
9/1/2010	Mommy surprised us by meeting us for lunch today. Callie and I both sat by her and tons of Callie's friends came over to sit with us too - Mommy said she felt like she was pretty popular, although it was probably Callie they wanted to be with, not Mommy. Lots of the younger kids came up to say hi to Mommy though and a few even wanted hugs! After school we went over to Camille and Ella's house - their mom just picked us up from school and then dropped us off at home around 5:30 so Mommy had a very long day to herself! I rode my bike to the park when I got home to watch a soccer practice with Callie and then I fell AGAIN on my way home. This time I scraped up my chest pretty badly so I just wanted to go to bed right away and I fell asleep quickly! Callie had some homework she had to do after supper and then she watched some tv with Mommy and Daddy before bed.
8/31/2010	Callie was super excited to see that her flute had come in the mail today - Mommy just ordered it on Sunday so that was fast. She is going to be in both band and orchestra so she will be busy. I went over to Alisha's house today so Mommy and I rode our bikes over to drop me off. On the way home, I fell down and hurt my knee so I sobbed and walked my bike the rest of the way.
8/30/2010	I was tired this morning so of course I didn't want to go to school but finally I started moving and then I was ready and happy. Mommy surprised us and picked us up today and then we came home to play.
8/29/2010	We went out for breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa this morning. Mommy and Daddy were teasing us that they were coming along but we made it clear that they could go to Caribou or something else by themselves, but they weren't joining us! They got coffee and met up with us at the zoo and we walked around for awhile. The baby tigers weren't out today so Mommy was sad about that because she still hasn't seen them yet! Jace really liked the train ride of course and then Callie and I panned for gems. We ate lunch at Mixed and then headed back to our house so Daddy could fix Grandpa's laptop. They left late afternoon and we played until supper and then had to take showers and get to bed early.
8/28/2010	We played this morning and then ate an early lunch because Grandma and Grandpa Ivey were coming! They got here around 2:30 so we hung out for awhile and Amber and Jace came over too. We all went out to eat at Outback and then came back to our house to play until bedtime.
8/26/2010	Callie and I were both ready very quickly this morning and Mommy took us to school since she had errands to run. Did I tell you that this year Callie has journal that she has to write notes to Mommy and Daddy in every day about what they did in class or questions she wants to ask them and then one of them is supposed to write back every night so they now have homework too! Daddy picked us up from school to take me to Tara's because Mommy had an appointment and then she met us at Tara's so Daddy could go back to work and she could take us home.
8/25/2010	We found out we get reading buddies this year and we will have to read to them because they are kindergartners! Callie thought she was going to stick with just orchestra but today they tried the instruments and she really loved the flute so now she wants to do both. Mommy is worried about the time committment, not to mention the money, but she said she would think about it. We had Lauren and Avery over after school so that was fun. Their familiy is building a house a few blocks from ours that should be done in November so we are quite excited for them to live close by. Tomorrow is school picture day so we laid our clothes out and I changed my earrings so I would be all ready in the morning.
8/24/2010	We were tired this morning and moving a little slower. I am not nearly as excited about going back to school as Callie is. Callie visited a different dance studio after school that was having an open house. She decided to take a class there this year because they are offering a ballet methods class called cecchetti that she wants to try. I don't want to take dance at all this year.
8/23/2010	Back to school again today! The mornings are going really well but this afternoon I did get mad at Callie for running to Mommy after we got off the bus because I wanted to get to Mommy first. I calmed down quickly though and we both told her about our day. I had an orthodontist appointment after that and found out I have to have four teeth pulled later this fall. I wasn't too happy about that but then he said he doesn't need to see me for a year now because my cross bite is starting to look better!
8/22/2010	We woke up early and jumped on the tramp again, showered and had pancakes for breakfast and then Mommy picked me up at 9. We all went to the zoo and it was not nearly as busy. The rhino exhibit is very nice and there is a baby giraffe and a baby monkey that we checked out too. It was starting to get hot and my tiredness was showing so we skipped looking at the baby tigers and went home. I cried all the way home about not getting to pan for gemstones and when I got home I ran to my room. When Mommy checked on me, I was fast asleep! I woke up feeling better and had a good afternoon with Callie. Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace came over for supper so we had to show them our kittens. After they left we had to get our bags ready for school and get in bed.
8/21/2010	We were going to go to the zoo today but once we got there it was SOO packed that we decided to wait until tomorrow. It was the ribbon cutting of the new rhino exhibit. We went to Sam's club and then headed home for lunch. It was 90 out today so we decided to head to the pool and Daddy came with. It wasn't very busy so we had a good time and I was able to go down the water slide so we all had fun doing that too (the other city pool said I was still too short). While we were drying off, Kelly's mom called to ask if I could go over for a sleepover. Mommy wasn't sure if I should since when I get tired I am not much fun but she let me. We got home and packed quickly and they dropped me off. They went to Red Lobster for dinner and then Callie and Daddy played the wii. I had pizza with Kelly and we jumped on the trampoline with the sprinkler under us and then we watched a cupcake show on the food network and went to bed around 10.
8/20/2010	We were glad it was Friday but I still wasn't too excited about going to school. We talked about going to the pool after school but we were kind of tired out and just lazy so we stayed home instead. Callie got her girl's bedroom set in the mail that she picked out for her dollhouse so she was excited. She and Mommy went through the scrapbook paper to pick out wallpaper and they got started on that after supper.
8/19/2010	Happy Birthday Grandma Robinson! I didn't want to go to school today because I had gym class and we were going to climb our new climbing wall that I did NOT want because it is too scary. Of course after school I told Mommy it was really fun! I saw Tara today after school and we talked about how stressful the first week of school can be. We ate early tonight and then watched some Big Brother after showers and tried to get to bed early. Of course it stormed twice during the night so both times I woke up and laid with Mommy for awhile - I get pretty nervous about thunder and lightning so I can't fall back asleep until its over.
8/18/2010	Daddy took us to school today and it was a fun day. I have been telling Mommy all about the books Mrs. Hofer has been reading us - they have been really interesting and Mommy is amazed at all the details I recall. We had Camille and Ella over after school to play and so they could see our kittens. Skittles still isn't fond of them but they don't mind her and they still love Miley which is weird considering she tries to chase them and play with them but she is so big it doesn't work well. They like to chase her tail and they like to pounce on her feet and run away like they want her to chase them. Mommy said the kittens were play fighting with each other and Miley ran over to nudge them with her nose like she was trying to tell them to knock it off - it seemed very motherish!
8/17/2010	I had a small issue with my tennis shoe today because I couldn't get it tied tight enough and I think I stressed Mommy out. She was hoping I was not going to have any issues this year but it was minor and I am very tired so she is going to stay optimistic. Since I am in a blended class I have lunch with my grade on M,W,F and with third grade on Tuesday and Thursdays which was ok. It was my teacher's wedding anniversary today so she brought cookies to celebrate so that was fun! Callie had a meeting today about band so she has to decide if she wants to play an instrument and violin or just stick with violin. Again Mommy had no luck getting me to bed on time so she is worried that by Friday I am going to be super crabby!
8/16/2010	Callie woke up super early because she was so excited. She told Mommy that the minutes on her clock were moving too slowly to wait for her alarm. I wasn't as excited but still seemed happy. Mommy took us to school and we saw lots of our friends on the playground and Mommy already talked to some teachers about subbing! A few things have changed this year such as we now go to lunch recess before eating lunch! We had lots to tell Mommy when we got home and she had yummy cookies just coming out of the oven for us to eat while we chatted. We were both kind of tired but it was hard to get us in bed on time because we were excited at the same time.
8/15/2010	We woke up around 7:30 so Mommy was glad we didn't sleep in too much since we have to get back on our school schedule. She made us cinnamon sugar donuts and we played at home most of the day. We got all of our school things ready to go in the kitchen and I was ready for bed by 7:30. Mommy had even told me she would let me try an 8pm bedtime this year but I was ready early and wanted to go to bed and I was even asleep in a few minutes so that worked out ok. Callie gets a 9pm bedtime this year so she is very happy about that and she was asleep pretty soon after that too.
8/14/2010	Mommy said today we had to help her clean up the house and get ready for school. We complained of course so she said we would only go to the fair if we helped and depending on how good we did, we could earn rides/games. We were a GREAT help and got done by lunchtime! I went over to Kelly's house to play on the trampoline and sprinkler while Callie and Mommy worked on the dollhouse. We headed to the fair around supper time and after eating there Mommy said we could each pick three things (rides and/or games) to do. Callie and I both jumped on the bungee/trampoline thing and that was a lot of fun! I even did a back flip twice but Callie was too nervous to try it. Then I played two games, the duck one and balloon darts, so I won two stuffed animals. Callie did the duck one too and won an animal and then she chose one last ride. It was new - there were big balls that you climbed into and they filled it up with air and velcroed you in. Then you tried to make it roll around in a huge wading pool. Everyone who tried to stand would fall down and you ended up crawling in the ball. Daddy said it was like a human hamster ball - it was pretty funny to watch! We walked through the Expo building after that and got lots of free stickers and coloring books and then we headed home for a very late bedtime!
8/13/2010	We were pretty lazy and tired today. Mommy and Callie finished shingeling her dollhouse while I watched TV and played with the kitties. We ordered pizza for supper and watched TV while we ate and then we all went to bed early.
8/12/2010	We slept in until almost 8am! Mommy said she felt very sticky so we showered right away but after breakfast it was SO hot again that MOmmy said it felt like we hadn't even showered. We took a short bike ride and went to the aquarium for another air conditioning break. We came back refreshed so Mommy made us lunch and cleaned up and then we headed to the lake again. It was windy on the water today so the breeze felt good AND it made great waves so Callie and I had a lot of fun. The heat index was 108 but it didn't feel as hot as yesterday so enjoyed ourselves much more. Mommy's friend Stacy and Briston even joined us for awhile. Around 4 we decided to head back to our tent and start packing up. We had planned on staying over night but there was rain in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning and we were so hot and tired that we decided to head home. I was too hot to help of course but Callie did a lot and we got everything packed up. Mommy said we could take a bike ride before she loaded bikes but we said no so instead we took another cold shower to cool off and then Mommy got the bikes loaded and we took off. We picked up supper and ate in the car and I fell asleep on the way home. Daddy was at a concert so we just took showers and got in bed, after playing with the kittens and Skittles of course.
8/11/2010	We got to Yankton around 10 and set up camp right away. It was already horribly hot so Mommy so we were all dripping wet and ready to swim right after lunch. We spent all day at the beach but we had to stop many times for sunscreen and water since it was over 100 degrees heat index! We headed back to the campsite around 5 and played a bit but it was so hot we weren't too interested in doing much and Mommy thought grilling sounded awful so we went to town for supper and enjoyed the air conditioning for awhile. It had cooled a bit when we got back and we felt better after our rest so took a bike ride to the park and played games at our campsite. Mommy even made a fire and we had smores. We played cards in our tent, which is one of my favorite things to do, and then it was time for bed. It was still 80 degrees out so we slept on top of our sleeping bags and Mommy put the fan on us so we went to sleep pretty quickly.
8/10/2010	Mommy had told us she would take us to Caribou this morning but of course I was tired on the one morning we were going to do something and I slept in until 9:30! Callie was quite impatient but finally I woke up and we went for a late breakfast. We ran some errands afterwards and then I had an appointment with Tara. We came home for a late lunch and then Daddy got off early so we could go to our Open House at school at 4! We were so excited to see some of our friends. I already knew where my desk was since I picked it out but Callie had to find hers and she talked with her teacher awhile too. Mommy had to fill out paperwork and we met our new art teacher as well. We talked about going camping right after we ate but it was getting late so Mommy said we would just go right away tomorrow morning. We let the kitties out to play instead since they were given the all clear from the vet. Miley LOVES them of course but Skittles is not too pleased.
8/9/2010	Today was a busy day! Mommy and Daddy both had dentist appointments this morning and then the kitties had their first check up at the vet. I had an appointment to meet my teacher right after lunch so I could read for her. She also let me pick out my desk and she had Mommy sign a permission slip so she could take me out for lunch during my birthday month! We came home and then Mommy's friend, Stacy, came over with her son, Briston. They live in Atlanta but they were in Yankton helping her dad move so she came to visit us. Dena and Gillian came over too!
8/8/2010	Mommy thought the kittens let me sleep in until almost 8 but I told her I woke up at 6 something and just had been playing with them by myself. We moved them over to Callie's room today so they can get used to that room now. Of course Skittles really likes to sleep in Callie's room so she may not be happy for a day or two but I am sure she will get over it. We played and helped Mommy clean up the basement and then we brought the kittens downstairs to explore our playroom and see where that litterbox is. We decided to head to the pool later in the afternoon and Daddy even came with us! I found my friend Avery there so that was fun and then right at 5 the pool closed because bad weather was coming so we were bummed. We headed home to grill before it started pouring and then we watched a movie.
8/7/2010	We were excited to play with the kittens today. We like to pretend they are our babies, we put them in the doll strollers and feed them doll bottles. They don't even mind! I had my friend Kelly over so she could play with them too. I found out she is in my class as well so that makes me even more happy! Mommy and Callie worked on shingles for awhile but Callie has a sore throat/cold so she didn't last long. I slept in my bed tonight with the kitties and they sure liked to chase my toes!
8/6/2010	We went down to crafts again this morning - today was the last day of the summer. We made little cork boards to hang on our doors. After lunch we went shopping and went to the Humane Society. Of course we fell in love with two kittens there so we left thinking a lot about them. After Mommy talked to Daddy and thought about it for a little bit, we went back and adopted them. They are SUPER CUTE! They are both girls and both black with orange and brown mixed in but one is lighter than the other. They are not actual sisters but about the same age. We named them Zelda and Reese and they are staying in my room for a few days to get used to it here. I was going to sleep with them but then I changed my mind and slept with Mommy instead so Daddy slept with them.
8/5/2010	We went down to crafts this morning because it was Tye Dye day - we remembered to bring along t-shirts! Mommy came with us and then we rode our bikes back home to put our shirts in the bathtub for 24 hours. We are very excited to see what they turn out like. After supper, Mommy and Callie went to the store to get tennis shoes and a lunchbox since she hadn't found those things yet. Now we are both ready for school. OH and after I was in bed my principal called because they had to rearrange things at school. I get to stay with my original teacher but now the class will be blended with 3rd graders.
8/4/2010	Happy Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa Ivey! Mommy got out of her class early again today and she found out she doesn't have to go back tomorrow to take her final so she was very excited! We went to the pool this afternoon and made camping reservations for next week - yippee! Did I tell you the other day our teacher assigments came? I am very excited because I have Mrs. Hofer just who I wanted and Callie got Miss Foley, the teacher she had in third grade.
8/3/2010	Mommy had class and I actually slept in so she was gone when I woke up. Callie was up thought so we started playing right away like we have been and we have been thinking of very creative things to play while Mommy has been gone too! After lunch we played Monopoly for awhile and then I had Alisha come over so we could all go to the pool for awhile. We had a quick supper and then met Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace for dessert at the mall.
8/2/2010	Mommy had class this morning but after her test she got to leave so she brought us home donuts - yummy! We played and had lunch and then decided since it was kind of rainy we should go to the Ramona and Beezus movie. It was pretty funny and we realized we were sitting right behind Lauren, Avery, and her mom! Afterwards Callie went to Lauren's house and Avery came over to our house. Daddy called Mommy on his way home from work and told her we were having Charlie and Gloria over for supper so she freaked out a bit but we helped clean up and Daddy got vegetables to grill on the way home. It all worked out and it was a nice night.
8/1/2010	Mommy has three papers due tomorrow and a big test so she said she will be mostly working on that today. Callie and I played and after lunch we did drag Mommy away for some school shopping. I found new tennis shoes but Callie just coudln't decide on anything. Daddy put us to bed while Mommy stayed up very late working!
7/31/2010	Mommy was not feeling too well this morning (hmm I think she had too much fun last night) so Daddy took us to the zoo because they had a special day going on and were giving out free lunches. We had hot dogs, chips, watermelon, and a cookie along with a bottle of water! It was super hot out though so we didn't stay long. We picked Mommy up and went to Falls Park because we have had SO much rain lately that the falls are really rushing over the rocks now and then we went to Jacob's birthday party. He turned 2 today! We ran through the sprinkler for awhile after having cake and then we stayed for pizza too. We came home to watch some TV together and then everyone went to bed early tonight.
7/30/2010	It was our last day of swimming lessons and both Callie and I passed our levels so we get to move on next year! Of course Callie thinks she should be done but Mommy said no she needs to finish level 5 and then she can choose if she wants to do 6 (which is more of a lifeguard level). We tried to find friends to come over and play today but everyone was busy so we were sad for awhile and then started playing. Around 5 we started getting very excited and hyper for our babysitter (who wasn't coming until 6:30 but we were so anxious for her!). Mommy fed us and then we started waiting outside for her. Finally she came and Mommy and Daddy left to meet their friends for dinner and drinks. We had SO much fun with Tina. She played board games with us, painted our nails, rode bikes to the park, and had a snack with us. She put me to bed right at 9 just like Mommy asked her to and then let Callie read from 9-9:30 and came back up to tuck her in.
7/29/2010	Happy Anniversary Mommy and Daddy! They have been married for 15 years. Mommy had class this morning so Callie and I played until she came to take us to swimming lessons. We started testing today and I did a great job Mommy said. It started sprinkling when we were in the pool and got really chilly so we were bummed because today was Girl Scout Day at Wild Water West. We were supposed to pick up three other girls to go out there but we had to call them all and tell them we were going to wait until 2 to see if the weather cleared up. It actually got worse so we didn't go and Callie was pretty sad.
7/27/2010	Mommy went to class but there was a note saying it was cancelled so she came back home. Callie was happy because she went to crafts then with Karissa but I just wanted to watch some TV. We had swimming and today we took our lunches because afterwards we ate lunch with Gillian, Adam, and another friend, Jane, at the park next to the pool. It was SUPER hot out though so we headed home shortly after we ate. I had an appointment with Tara and then we came home to play. We decided to have date night tonight so Mommy and I went to Granite City while Daddy and Callie went to her favorite place, the Brazilian restaurant. She has been wanting to go since her birthday so she was very happy!
7/26/2010	Mommy had class this morning so Callie and I played. I almost forgot to eat breakfast before she came to pick us up for swimming! After lunch I went over to Alisha's house to play. Mommy even rode her bike with me so I could have my bike over there. Callie had Morgan over to our house and they put on a magic show for Mommy. After supper we went to the mall so I could get my glasses adjusted and then came home in time to catch lightning bugs before bed!
7/25/2010	We slept in a bit this morning and just hung out at home for most of the day. After supper we did head to Sertoma Park so we could play with Jace. Uncle Tom and Amber rode their bikes there so we all headed home before dark.
7/24/2010	The storm came last night after Mommy and I were sleeping so I climbed into bed with her after the thunder woke me up. This morning I woke up and said "why am I in your bed?" I thought it was pretty funny that I couldn't remember coming in so I guess I must have been sleepwalking! We were kind of lazy today but we did run to the store to get a few things for tonight. Mommy made brownies and peanut butter bars and Daddy picked up a pineapple and beverages and then we all headed out to Erkonens. They grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and our pineapple and we had chips and corn on the cob too - it was yummy and fun. We played all evening - even Miley came to play with Izzy and Babe. They had a firepit so we had a fire later on and made smore's too. It was after 11 when we headed home and stumbled into bed.
7/23/2010	Mommy doesn't have class on Fridays so she was home with us this morning. Daddy took the afternoon off so we could all go to Wild Water West and we even found out Erkonens were planning on going today too! Mommy decided to take us out right at 11 when they opened because there was a chance of storms around 4 so she wanted us to have enough time. Daddy got there around 1 to join us and Erkonens. I even saw my friend Avery there so I played with her in the wave pool for awhile. I was tall enough to go down the slides by myself this year and I really surprised Mommy by going down both the body slide and the tube slide! Callie was too scared to go down the first year she turned 48 inches so Mommy said I was very brave. We did the lazy river and bumper boats too so it was a great day although everyone got a little sunburned. I guess we should have re-applied our sunscreen - oops! We got home late (the storm never came) and we were all exhausted so took showers, had cereal for supper, and went to bed.
7/22/2010	Mommy had class again today so we kept busy by playing play-doh and coloring. Mommy picked us up for swimming again. After lunch, she dropped us off at Camille and Ella's house for a playdate. We went to a pool that is at the golf course they belong too and no one else was there so it was super fun! Then we went back to their house to play until 5:30 so it was a long playdate and Mommy got lots of homework done.
7/21/2010	Mommy's class started today but I woke up just as she was leaving so I said good-bye and then Callie woke up after she was gone. We ate breakfast, got dressed, and watched TV until she got home. She picked us up just in time for swimming and then we went home for lunch. I had at appointment with Tara and then we walked to the library for the magic show. Mommy worked on homework there and we sat with Gillian, Adam, and Jacob because they were there too!
7/20/2010	We rode our bikes down to the craft and then on the way home, Callie's balloon popped so she came in crying and sobbing. Mommy thought she had gotten hurt! I went to get my balloon to show Mommy what we did and then mine popped so I started crying! It was NOT a good morning. We calmed down and then it was time for swimming. After lunch we played a bit and then met Dena and her kids at Drake to swim. We hadn't been there yet this year so we had fun in the lazy river. I was 1/2 inch too short for the waterslide so I was bummed but didn't get too upset. We ate pizza there for supper and headed home after 7. Daddy worked late but he was just finishing his supper when we got there and then it was time for bed.
7/19/2010	Our swimming lessons started today! Gillian and Adam are in classes right before us so we saw the last few minutes of theirs and talked to them before it was our turn. Mommy brings a lawnchair and watches and worked on homework too. She and Callie started wallpapering the kitchen in the dollhouse and Daddy helped them test all the electrical wires and they all work. I helped them stain the shingles today too so now they have to dry for a few days before gluing them on.
7/18/2010	We slept in again today and were pretty slow about getting ready. Callie and Daddy went to the movie right around lunchtime so Mommy and I went to RedRosa and then came home to play boardgames. Once Callie came home, we all went shopping for school supplies and headed back for supper. We had to take showers and get to bed early tonight but Mommy said I could play for 10 minutes in my pjs while she finished some homework. WELL she forgot about me and after about 45 minutes I came downstairs and said "I think it has been 10 minutes" so I guess we didn't get to bed so early after all!
7/17/2010	We slept in this morning and then Mommy and I were going to ride our bikes to Burger King to get breakfast for everyone. Once we walked outside though it was super hot and humid so drove instead. We were pretty lazy today and rested up for JazzFest again this afternoon. Mommy wanted to see a group at 4:30 but it was so hot (93 with a 103 degree heat index) that we were slow about going but did get there about 5:30 and saw the last three songs of that group. The drummer was a 12 year old girl and they were really good so then Mommy was bummed we didn't get there earlier. We played on the inflatables again and had supper as our friends started meeting us there. About 7 we saw some dark clouds coming in and it started getting pretty windy. Storms were all around us on the radar so after waiting it out a bit everyone got nervous and decided to head out before the storm hit and just come to our house instead. Of course once everyone came over, it sprinkled and was done - we totally missed the big storm. We had fun playing with Gillian and Adam though and Jacob and Aubrey were over too.
7/16/2010	Our last morning of VBS and today we made tie blankets to donate to Furniture Mission in town. All the money we have been donating during the week will also go to them to buy pack-n-plays for babies and toddlers that don't have beds. Callie and I were pretty excited because today they said we had enough money to buy 8 of them! We had Ella and Camille over to play today. After Daddy got home, we had a quick supper and then went to JazzFest. We met lots of friends out there and had a snack of course too. Mommy walked us over to the inflatables and mist tent too because it was hot! It was a fun night but very late when we got to bed.
7/15/2010	This morning I woke up and was so tired that I asked Mommy if I could skip VBS but still go to the program. She said yes so we dropped Callie off and I went home and fell asleep for an hour and a half! After lunch we picked up Lauren and Avery and went swimming and then they came to our house to play for awhile. Callie and I rode our bikes to Sunshine afterwards to pick out ice cream toppings for tonight. Mommy made a quick supper when Daddy got home and then we headed to the church for our VBS program/ice cream social. We sang a few songs and then Callie and I gave Mommy and Daddy a tour of all our classrooms after we ate our ice cream. Daddy had time to mow the front yard when we got home so Mommy went on a short bike ride with us before bed.
7/14/2010	Today at VBS we made snake keychains and had a gummy worm on top of blue jello with whipped cream. The bible story today was about snakes, can you tell? We also played snake games (we had to walk on a pool noodle - aka snake) and have water sprayed on us. I had an appointment with Tara at 12:30 so Mommy had our lunches packed in the car and we ate on the way there. We stopped at the library afterwards and got our prizes bag for reading 20 minutes for 30 days. Mommy had to check out some books for her class and then we headed home to play. We had hoped for a playdate but no one was available so we just hung out with Mommy. She moved the dollhouse to the basement now that she finally cleaned our house and made room and since it is mostly put together now.
7/13/2010	VBS again today and this time we made pillowcases in art. We have been playing all kinds of water games outside for the games station and they have been a lot of fun. We had chips and dip for a snack but they put a hunk of cheese in the dip which I thought was totally gross but I guess it was supposed to be a ship wreck or something. We missed crafts this morning but Mommy was nice enough to find a park that did crafts in the afternoon so she drove us there and we made penguins out of water bottles - very cute! We picked up pizza for supper and had a picnic at the park for Kid's Night. We played the carnival games and then at 7pm was the last play for the summer. We sat with Brad and Dena's family.
7/12/2010	We had Vacation Bible School today at 9 and we both were still sleeping at 8:15 so Mommy had to wake us but we were excited and got ready quickly. Mommy was impressed because sometimes when I am rushed I get mad and things don't go well. The theme this year is High Seas so Mommy showed us which part of the big ship she and Dena painted when she dropped us off. She picked us up at noon and then we played all afternoon at home. Callie and I got along great and Mommy got lots done! I forgot to tell you on Saturday Kim brought me Abby's old bike because mine was getting small but Callie's was too big (and my handlebars were rusting and falling down) and Abby's was right in between our sizes so it was perfect! I get to borrow it all summer!
7/11/2010	This morning we decided to go to a movie. Daddy and I went to Despicable Me (in 2D since I don't like 3D) and Callie and Mommy went to Eclipse. We picked up Mommy's truck afterwards and then went home so Mommy could finally work on homework. Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace came over for supper so we had fun playing. We all went out for ice cream afterwards and then it was time for bed because VBS starts tomorrow!
7/10/2010	Mommy tried to work on homework today but she was having a hard time concentrating on it. Callie went swimming with her friend and they even rode their bikes all the way to the pool with her friend's dad. Callie was quite exhausted by the time she came home. We went shopping while she was gone. After supper we watched part of a movie with Mommy and then she left to go out with a friend so Daddy tucked us in. A storm came though and kept waking me up so finally he gave up and let me sleep in his bed.
7/9/2010	We had crafts again this morning! After lunch I had Brooke over for a playdate while Callie and Mommy worked on her dollhouse. Daddy got off work a little bit early and then we all went out to eat at Spezia. In the middle of the night we were all awakened (well Callie slept right through it but the rest of us) by a doorbell and Miley barking. It was the police!! They were looking for one of Daddy's friends but he wasn't here. We had a hard time falling back asleep after that but finally by 4:30 I was out.
7/8/2010	We woke up and headed right to crafts again this morning. We made fossil prints on a homemade clay mixture with coffee grounds, flour, and water. We called Mommy to come help us carry it home because they were still wet and crumbly. After lunch I had my appointment with this new Dr and she was trying to get to know me by asking questions about what I liked to do in the summer and my favorite pools. Afterwards I told Mommy I couldn't figure out what that stuff had to do with me being naughty! We went to the library afterwards to get some new books. After supper, Allie stopped by to play while Daddy mowed and then we had to come in to shower.
7/7/2010	We went to the play this morning and it was a really funny one so Callie and I had a good time laughing at it. After lunch I had an appointment with Tara but she spent a lot of time talking with Mommy so I waited with Callie and looked at books. They decided to make an appointment with a different doctor for me to go to tomorrow. Mommy and Callie worked a lot on the dollhouse tonight so it is really coming along!
7/6/2010	We slept until almost nine and Mommy said we should just stay in our pjs and skip crafts this morning. We just looked at her like she was crazy! We hurried and got dressed, brushed our teeth and hair, and ran out the door. We made lava lamps today with water bottles, glitter, colored water, oil, and alka seltzer. It was fun! After lunch we met Kim and her kids at the sprinkler park.
7/5/2010	Mommy got up to get ready for breakfast with Anna today. We slept in a bit and then Grandma Ivey had breakfast waiting for us. We test drove Great Grandma Ivey's new electric wheel chair around the driveway and then Mommy came home around lunchtime. We had sandwiches and then packed up the truck and said goodbyes. We stopped at Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's to pack up stuff from there too. I played a game with Grandma while Callie and Grandpa caught some more frogs and then it was time to head home. We stopped in Watertown to get subs and we ate supper in the car.
7/4/2010	Happy Fourth of July! Callie and I slept in this morning so Mommy was happy about that. We ate at Qdoba for lunch and then went to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin. Aftewards Daddy dropped us off at Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's so he could go do some work at Grandpa Ivey's office. Callie did more fireworks and then we decided to catch some frogs. We put them in buckets and played with them for awhile. We ate supper back at Grandma and Grandpa Ivey's. I decided to stay there with Daddy so we could sit in the hot tub and watch the city's fireworks. Callie and Mommy went back out to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's to do their own fireworks and watch the neighbor's. They sat in the hot tub there and then headed back.
7/3/2010	Mommy and I went to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's this morning to hang out. Callie and Daddy came out after lunch. We shot off bottle rockets and caught some parachutes. We picked some peas in the garden. They grilled for supper and had some neighbors over to eat and do fireworks with us. Callie had a lot of fun lighting things this year but I was tired and got scared of it so I kept wanting to go inside. Then it started thundering and lightning so that made me more scared and finally it started raining so we had to leave. It was POURING by the time we got back to Grandma Ivey's so we had to run inside very quickly!
7/2/2010	Daddy took today off so we woke up and packed the truck to go to Aberdeen. Callie had to ride down to the park to say goodbye to Laura, the girl in charge of crafts because she is leaving and Sam will start next week. We had to run errands before leaving town and ate lunch in Watertown. We visited Great Grandma Ivey today and then ate supper out with Grandma and Grandpa Ivey.
7/1/2010	This morning we went to the crafts and decorated our bikes for the fourth of July! You can ride your bike in the parade on the 4th if you want which is why they did this craft but we won't be here for it. We played with the kittens a lot because after lunch we took them back. We went with Mommy to her school to pick up some papers and then we took Alisha with us to the pool. I was pretty tired out and decided to just lay out on the side so Callie played with her more than I did. After supper we went with Daddy to buy fireworks and then came home to shower.
6/30/2010	I stayed at Alisha's until 3pm! Mommy and Callie had another full day to work on the dollhouse. They also went and got coffee/hot chocolate and took it to the play. Alisha came over at 3 because her Mommy had to run some errands so we were actually together until 5 and then I was wiped out. I ate supper in front of the tv and then I went to bed early.
6/29/2010	I had Daisy Girl Scout camp today! Mommy and I packed my bag last night with sunscreen, bugspray, my suit and towel, Callie's sit-upon, and my swaps to trade with the girls. She added my lunchbox this morning and we picked up Alisha and drove out there. It started at 8:30 and ended at 4:30 but Alisha's mom picked us up so I didn't get home until 5:15 or so. Mommy said it seemed very strange to have me gone that long. We painted with mud, played with earthworms, blew bubbles, made a mini stepping stone, painted bandanas, ran through a sprinkler, and had snacks. Mommy and Callie got the whole house glued together, went out for lunch, and did some more painting! They are working on little things now like the porch with all the tiny railings that need to be glued together. We all rode our bikes to Burger King for supper and then when we got back, Alisha called to invite me over for a sleepover! I was very excited to go. Callie and Mommy stayed up late working on the dollhouse and then they had their own sleepover in the living room.
6/28/2010	Happy Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa Robinson! Callie and I played school again this morning and then I had an appointment with Tara. We came home so we could play more and then I had Alisha over to play. Mommy and Callie worked on the dollhouse then - they have almost all the larger pieces painted now and the inside is all primed. Next up is gluing! Daddy grilled supper tonight and then we went on a quick bike ride before bed.
6/27/2010	I woke up this morning and went into Mommy's room and asked her if the words 'a' and 'I' are in the dictionary because everyone knows how to spell them! She thought this was funny - I didn't say good morning or anything, just hopped out of bed and asked this. We went to Toy Story 3 this morning. Of course Mommy and I don't really like 3D movies but the one that wasn't 3D was an hour later and we didn't want to wait that long so we just went along. Mommy cried so Daddy had fun teasing her. We stopped at Menards again on the way home so Callie could get white paint for her trimwork. We went to the new salad restaurant for supper, Mixed, and then we met Tom and Jace at the park to watch a play. And guess what? Tom told us exciting news - Jace is going to be a big brother!
6/26/2010	This morning Daddy started installing the dishwasher while Mommy tried to do some homework and laundry. After lunch I had Kelly over to play and Mommy got to put her first load of dishes in - she was quite happy! Callie and Mommy painted more of Callie's house and they ran to Hobby Lobby to pick out a few more things. Daddy grilled for supper and then he left to meet up with Jason for the night. I was just getting ready for bed when a huge storm came through. It got very windy so we went downstairs. Afterwards I went to bed while Callie and Mommy worked some more on the dollhouse. They heard a sawing noise so checked outside and our neighbor's tree had fallen down - well most of it anyway!
6/25/2010	I slept in until 8:45 so I hurried to get ready for crafts. Callie had been up earlier so she was ready and waiting for me. We made rockets today! Afterwards we played school and boy were we busy all day. At first we were fighting about who was the teacher so Mommy made us a schedule so I taught reading and then Callie taught math and it so on. The one not teaching went into the teachers lounge for snacks and preparing for our next subject so we thought that was fun! And we played until almost 5! Mommy even delivered our lunch downstairs. She got lots done so she was happy. Oh and her dishwashwer was delivered so she was happy about that too. Daddy needed parts though Callie was ready to pick out her dollhouse paint so we had to go to Menards. She picked out a teal color - it looks pretty! We seperated all the parts into piles and they painted a little bit after I went to bed.
6/24/2010	Sure enough I woke up super crabby about everything. I didn't like the muffins Mommy made and I had a million bug bites and there were bugs inside the tent (only two but still!). The gnats were really bad again so we went on a bike ride and hoped they would be gone as the morning dew went away but no such luck. I cried about everything so Mommy couldn't handle it anymore and decided to end our trip early. She packed up while I cried in the truck (there were bugs in there too) and we took off. I fell asleep right away and felt much better when we got home - except by bites bothered me for the rest of the day. Daddy took us out to eat when he got home and then we went straight to bed.
6/23/2010	Mommy was surprised we both slept in until almost 9 but hurried to get dressed so we could head back out to our campsite. We put the tent up and then rode our bikes around more. Callie and I played in the hammock while Mommy read and then Dena and her kids showed up! We all went down to the beach to swim and play in the sand. We were going to grill supper together but the bugs were really bad so we all went out together instead. Mommy and Dena decided on Bonanza, memories of their childhood I guess. They left for home afterwards and we went back to play for awhile. Mommy got our fire started and usually she struggles with this a bit but she was impressed with her fire after it got going! We made smores and then played card games in the tent with our lantern. We went to bed late so I was overtired and crying about things which doesn't bode well for tomorrow.
6/22/2010	I was tired so I slept in and missed the craft but Callie went with Karissa. Mommy put the bikes on the carrier and we headed to my appointment with Tara. We met Daddy for lunch to say goodbye and then we went to Yankton. They told us when we checked in that there was a good chance for a very bad storm with 60mph winds and hail along with an inch of rain tonight so Mommy decided to skip setting up the tent. We swam instead and still used our campsite to grill supper and hang out. We went on a long bike ride and played at the park until 9 and then we headed home to sleep.
6/21/2010	Mommy spent today getting ready for our camping trip so we played with the kittens and kept ourselves busy.
6/20/2010	Happy Father's Day! We gave Daddy his cards and gifts when we woke up (which was later than him because Callie and I had a slumber party in my room and stayed up kind of late). Then Mommy and Daddy went to get coffee and had a relaxing morning at home. After lunch we all went to the Tea airport to see the Barnstormers there. They were really old fashioned planes you could walk around and look it - they had old cars too and people were dressed up like the 20s and 30s. Some planes were giving rides and Daddy really kind of wanted to but it was expensive and there was a wait and it was super hot out so we decided to skip it. We went to Qdoba for supper (one of Daddy's favorites) and then we went go cart racing and played mini golf. It sure was a fun day!
6/19/2010	Mommy and Daddy walked Miley this morning together so Callie and I played at home. Then we all got ready and went to the multicultural festival at Falls Park. We even met Amber and Jace there for lunch. We headed home to change after that and then went to the pool. We had to show Daddy all the neat tricks we like to do and then it was time for supper. Mommy and I went on a bikeride afterwards but Callie stayed home to play the Wii with Daddy. OH and I almost forgot to tell you that we rescued a turtle the other day. It was walking on a busy street so Daddy pulled over for us to get it and then we walked it to the nearby golf course pond. I tried to hold it a few times but I always gave it right back to Callie.
6/18/2010	We went to crafts again this morning and this time we took our brand new cell phone! Mommy and Daddy decided to get rid of our landline and add a cell phone instead. This means we have a cell phone we can take with places but Mommy said we have to remember it isn't ours but the house phone. After lunch we met Dena and her kids at the pool again! We stayed for part of family swim and Callie's friend Ann showed up so that was fun. Daddy mowed until we got back and then we ate a late supper.
6/17/2010	This morning we went to the crafts again and today we made necklaces with royal family crests on them. We played with the kittens when we got home and cleaned their litterbox. We promised Mommy that Callie and I would take care of everything involving them and so far we have done a great job. I had an appointment with Tara at 1 and Callie's friend was there waiting for her brother so they hung out together. After we got home, I ran down to get Nolan so he could come see the kittens and then we played for awhile. After supper he came over again and we played sidewalk chalk until we had to go in to shower. Daddy went out with Eric tonight so Mommy tucked us in before she had to get online for her chat with her class tonight.
6/16/2010	Happy 10th Birthday Callie!! We got ready quickly this morning and then went to pick up donuts and hot chocolate/coffee at Caribou. We took it all to the park and had breakfast in the park while we waited for the play to start. Callie was able to go up front so the audience could sing Happy Birthday to her and other kids who had a birthday this week. We came home for lunch and since Daddy was there, Callie opened her gifts. We played for a bit and then we went to the pool and met Dena and the kids there. At 5 we headed to the humane society and picked up 4 foster kittens and the mama and brought them home. After playing with them a bit we went to HuHot for supper and Callie got her free smore roasting kit for dessert there - yummy! We came home to play with the kittens more and then it was time for bed.
6/15/2010	Callie and I were all ready to go to the craft this morning when I pinched my finger in the door! Mommy sent Callie alone while I iced my finger and watched TV. I was better by the time she got home and then we ran some errands. We played when we got home and I even had Brooke over for awhile. Then it was time for Kids Night in the Park when Daddy got here. We met Tom, Amber, and Jace there and also Jason and Abby. After doing some games I played with Abby on the equipment and Callie hung out with Gillian and her family playing more games. We stayed out kind of late so we had to hussle to be once we got home.
6/14/2010	We helped Mommy do the dishes this morning - she is getting really sick of doing them but she still can't decide on buying a new one so I don't think Daddy feels too sorry for her. I got my American Girl present in the mail today - I ordered something in April that was backordered and boy was it hard to wait this long. Frequently I would ask Mommy when it was coming and then I would cry and scream that I wanted it NOW so she is glad it finally came. AND then Callie and I played swimming lessons from 11 until 5, hardly taking much time to even eat lunch. Mommy was impressed and we didn't fight - we just had so much fun teaching our dolls how to swim!
6/13/2010	We were excited because the new Burger King by our house opened today at 11. We went to eat lunch there at 11:30 and boy was it crowded and of course we saw so many of our neighbors and friends from school there so it was really fun. Mommy worked on homework all day and Daddy said there is no way he could go back to school and do that again. She did take a break to play a few board games with me and she had me be the banker so I could practice my money counting. Then she and Callie hung out in her room while I played with Daddy and they read a book together. They are reading "The Diary of Anne Frank."
6/12/2010	It stormed in the night (again) and Avery and I got scared from the thunder so Mommy slept in my bed to be with us for awhile (we were on the floor in my room). Then at 6:30 there was a SUPER loud crack of thunder that woke us up and we were up for the day. Two big girls came in and used the bathroom but said the other three were still sleeping. Mommy started making monkey bread and went to check on them and all five were back asleep! They slept until 8:30 or so and then we all ate monkey bread and fruit for breakfast. We played a bit more and then the parents came to pick them up around 10. We were pretty lazy the rest of the day and watched Karate Kid while we ate supper on TV trays - the original movie not the new one.
6/11/2010	It stormed a LOT last night so Callie was up and then she was excited for her party so I don't think she got much sleep. This morning we helped Mommy get some things ready for the party and then we headed to the park for crafts. I had an appointment with Tara after that and then we put up the tent with Mom. It sounds like it may storm again tonight so Mommy decided to set up the tent in the garage so they can campout with worrying about the rain. She made Callie's cake, cut up fruit so Callie could have the watermelon dude she likes so much and then the kids were here! I had Lauren's sister, Avery stay over with me so I could have a friend too. We ran through the sprinkler and did the slip-n-slide and then our walking tacos were done. Callie had 5 friends. They played croquet, had sack races, and just goofed around. We opened gifts and had cake and then the girls got very involved in playing school. Avery and I got ready for bed, read books and were both fast asleep by 10. The older girls played until 11 and then headed out to the tent for truth or dare after Mommy popped them some popcorn. She turned the lights out at midnight and she is pretty sure they went to bed very soon after that.
6/10/2010	It was raining today so no crafts at the park. In fact it was pouring so Mommy put off getting groceries. Luckily it let up before our dentist appointments and neither of us had cavities - yippee! We helped Mommy clean today because Callie's party is tomorrow and I even get to have someone sleep over too. We met Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace at a new sub restaurant, Erbert and Gerberts, for supper. Afterwards we came home so Daddy could mow quick before it started raining again and Mommy went grocery shopping. Callie is kind of sad because it looks like it might rain tomorrow so her camp-out might have to be moved inside.
6/9/2010	Today we went to McKennan Park for a play - this weed it was Rumplestilskin, which we thought was pretty funny since he was in the movie last night. I almost didn't wake up in time - it was 9:40 when I got out of bed and the play started at 10! I dressed, brushed my teeth and then ate breakfast in the car. After the play we stopped at Hobby Lobby so Callie could pick out the doll house she wants for her birthday. It is a kit so she has to build it, paint it, and then save money for furniture! We had to pick up Daddy after that - he is working at a client in the morning and then we took him to his office after lunch. We headed home to change and we spent the afternoon at the pool. It was still pretty chilly so Mommy just read and watched us and I kept having to get out to warm up on the hot cement but Callie didn't mind the cold at all. We picked up Daddy from work, looked at dishwashers, and then picked up Mommy's truck. After supper we had to go to bed early!
6/8/2010	We went to the crafts by ourselves this morning! Callie met Karissa there and Alisha was there too. We made rainbow fish out of old CDs. We rode our bikes back home where Mommy was working on homework. We ate an early lunch and then we went to the puppet show at the library. Karissa came with us. We checked out books and I got my very own library card - Callie already has one so it was my turn. After supper we decided to go to the drive-inn! First we had to drop off Mommy's truck. Her a/c is broken and she needs new shocks. She is not happy because her dishwasher is also broken. We took the car to the movie and started watching outside but as it got chilly we moved inside. It was Shrek 4 and RobinHood but we didn't stay for the second movie. OH and I won a poster at the drawing they had too!
6/7/2010	Mommy came to pick us up around 10 and we told her all the fun things we did at their house. Last night they had a bonfire so we had smores! Callie and I were tired though so we watched TV until lunchtime and Mommy hoped we would lay down but of course that didn't work out. Callie started getting some RSVP calls for her birthday party. I don't know if I told you but she and Mommy spent Saturday morning making cute tent invitations for her party - she is having a backyard camp-out (if the weather cooperates anyway). After supper we played outside until it was time to shower.
6/6/2010	It was really nice out today so Daddy mowed and Mommy pulled weeds - even Callie helped. I went over to Alisha's house to play. Mommy bought some more flowers to plant so Callie helped with that too. Then around supper time, we packed up and went over to Lauren and Avery's house for a sleepover! Mommy and Daddy headed to Granite City for drinks and supper by themselves.
6/5/2010	It was a rainy dreary day today so we just hung out at home. Mommy headed to Caribou to finish her homework while we played the Wii with Daddy. She said if she stays home she gets distracted by the messy house and the laundry so she needs to go somewhere else to concentrate and she wrote two essays while she was gone so I guess it works. Daddy and I rode our bikes to the grocery store when the weather cleared up and got some buns for our brats we grilled. Then after supper we went to Sertoma Park to play and we ran into Amber and Jace there! We played with him for a long time and then it was bedtime.
6/4/2010	Daddy had to go back to work today so we all woke up early. We walked over to the park for the craft at 9. Mommy was hoping we would go alone but I really wanted her to come with so she said she would today but next week we are on our own. We made an acrobat and then they painted our faces so we had a lot of fun! When we came home two of our neighbors were having a rummage sale so we had a lemonade stand. We have wanted one for over a year and Mommy always says our street has no traffic but today it sure did. We sold LOTS! After lunch we both had friends over. Alisha and I just played but Callie and Lauren kept running the lemonade stand.
6/3/2010	Callie and I slept in until after 10am! Even Mommy and Daddy slept til 9. Mommy went to pick up Miley and she was quite tired out from her vacation so she slept all day. Mommy unpacked and worked on laundry while we played and watched some TV. Uncle Tom invited us to meet them at the RibFest for supper so Daddy took me and Callie there while Mommy stayed home and worked on homework.
6/2/2010	This morning we packed everything up and waited for Bridget to finish working. She picked us up and we went to VooDoo Donuts - a very funny donut store! They have maple and bacon donuts, fruit loop donuts, bubble gum donuts. Callie and I had the Dirty Old Hippie Donut which has choolate and peanut butter on it - yummy!! We hung out at Bridgets after that and then it was time for her to take us to the airport. I told Mommy that I always think about running to the person to hug them when we get there but it is so much sadder to hug them when we leave. All of our flights were on time and we landed in Omaha at 11pm but it only felt like 9 for us so we drove home and got in about 2am.
6/1/2010	We let Bridget know when we woke up and she headed over. We walked over to a coffeeshop nearby for donuts and coffee for the grown-ups. Have I told you how many hills they have around there? And everyone walks everywhere because parking is such a hassle. Phew! Bridget took us to her school after that so we saw her lab, met her friends, and saw all the monkeys (they have LOTS). We tried to stop and see Coby too but he wasn't in his office. We headed to see the Rose Garden after that. Portland is known as the city of roses and they sure did have lots of roses there! We stopped at a grocery store to get some lunch foods and went back to Bridgets. I was tired and so was Daddy so we napped after that. Callie played on the computer while Mommy and Bridget played games. We decided to eat pasta for supper and Bridget found a Old Spaghetti Factory which was fun. Afterwards we stopped at the Powell Book Store. This is the country's largest independent book store and wow was it huge!! We still had some money left so we bought books but it took forever to decide. Coby said good-bye since he would be working tomorrow and then Bridget took us back to her place to sleep.
5/31/2010	Happy Birthday Grandpa Robinson! This morning we slept in a bit and then we ate at the motel restuarant. Coby was out running and Bridget took a walk so it was just our family. We packed up the van and headed to the ferry boat and drove on it! We got out and walked all around the boat - it was very big! When it was time to get back in your cars, we couldn't find mom but she found us thankfully. We headed off to Mt. St. Helens. It was a long drive there, very windy roads and Callie and I were getting tired so we weren't the best company but we finally got there. We listened to a park ranger talk about the volcano, watched a movie, and then walked around outside. Unfortunately there were so many clouds you couldn't see the mountain but you could still see all the dead trees around the area and the areas of ash and mud. We headed back to Portland after stopping to get snacks to hold us over and I fell asleep in the van. We stopped at Joe's Crabshack for supper around 8:30 and didn't finish eating until 10pm - how crazy is that?! Bridget took us to her apartment and got beds set up for us and then left to stay with Coby - she was even super nice and said she would return the van alone so we could sleep in tomorrow morning!
5/30/2010	This morning we checked out of our motel and Bridget picked us up in the van. We took some of our things to her place and then we all headed to Seattle! We stopped at the public library because Coby said it was really big and neat and he was right - it was neat. Then we went to Pike Street Market and walked around there, watching people throw fish in the air. We found a sandwich place and ate a late lunch and then we headed to our motel. Daddy rested while I watched TV and Mommy read. Bridget napped so Coby and Callie walked to a sculpture park and looked around. We met up around 5:30 and walked to the Space Needle for our dinner reservations! The floor rotates around so at first Mommy was getting really dizzy feeling but after she sat for a bit it was much better. We went around in two while circles while we were there so we had a great view of Seattle. We even got a neat dessert that had dry ice so it was smoking and freaked me out a bit! We shopped at the gift store afterwards and then walked back to the motel for bed. Daddy stayed with us while Bridget and Mommy went to the motel lounge for drinks.
5/29/2010	Bridget picked up Daddy at 8:30 this morning so he could go with her to rent a van for the next three days. We were still sleeping so Mommy stayed with us - she has been very impressed that we have slept in until 8:30 or later every day so far! They came back and we were ready to take off for the ocean. Coby came with us and we ate lunch on the way there. We stopped at teh Tillamook cheese factory on the way there to watch how cheese was made. We had lots of samples and then bought yummy ice cream too. At the ocean we walked the beach looking for seashells and Daddy even found a clam shell. The water was VERY cold so we just got our feet wet and that was all. We headed back to Portland and freshened up a bit before eating at a fancy seafood restaurant right on the river. I had made a peanut butter sandwich before we went since I knew I wouldn't want anything but I did get jello and goldfish crackers. It was quite late when we finished eating so we just headed right to bed.
5/28/2010	Today we went to the Science Museum (OMSI)and Bridget met us there when she finished up her work. There were tons of hands on things for us to play with so we had a great time! We had some time to just chill out in the motel before we met Bridget and Coby for supper at a brewery. We were going to walk around the river front after that but it was raining so we decided to go swimming at our motel instead and Bridget joined us!
5/27/2010	Today we went to the zoo. Bridget took the train to work so we borrowed her truck. It was pretty chilly and one of our bags didn't get here yet so I didn't have my jacket but Daddy bought me a sweatshirt at the zoo. We ate lunch there and rode the train and picked out souveniers. Mommy had given us each $20 for the whole trip so I agonized over how much to spend today since I still wanted some left. Her idea worked really well though because I never cried or begged for anything, I just thought everything through, making sure I always had money left. Callie bought a penny passport book so she made pressed pennies every place we went and that was fun! We met Bridget and Coby for pizza and then after supper we walked around a street festival. There were very strange people selling things, playing music, and dancing. It was quite interesting!
5/26/2010	Today our vacation starts!! Mommy woke us up at 6:30 so we could dress and hop in the car by 7. She and Daddy had everything packed already so we just had to drop off Miley at the kennel and then headed to Omaha. We ate an early lunch at the airport and then got on the plane by 12. Callie and I sat by Daddy and Mommy was across the aisle from us - we were a bit nervous but not too bad. We landed in Denver and headed to the next gate. Our seats had been assigned all over the place - no one was by each other so the lady said she would work on it while we got a snack. Then a siren went off and there was a tornado right by the airport so we had to stay away from windows! Of course we were scared and then our flight was delayed but finally the warning was gone. Our flight was delayed AGAIN and then it was cancelled. We had to go in a huge line to rebook only to find out that the next available flight would be leaving tomorrow night at 9:30pm! We took it but were NOT happy. In the meantime we were also on a standby flight out at 7 so we ate some food and waited. Our names would go up on the list and then down and then that flight was delayed too so it was just not looking good. Daddy made motel calls and Mommy was telling us we would be having fun in Denver so not to cry. Callie was the only optimistic one and finally they called our names to get on the plane at the very last minute! We were the very last ones and we had to run because they said they were not going to repeat it. Of course then we sat on the runway for over an hour because there was lightning. Mommy started thinking how bad this was going to be if they cancelled this flight too because once we got on the plane they had cancelled our flight tomorrow night so we would have to rebook all over again! Thankfully we finally took off and landed in Portland at 11pm Pacific Time. Bridget picked us up and took us to our motel where we all fell right asleep.
5/24/2010	We had a lazy morning today and watched a movie. After lunch we joined Mommy on some errands and then came home to play. It has been super hot here lately - in the high 80s so we ran through the sprinkler and even invited our neighbor, Nolan, to join us for awhile. Mommy made tacos for supper and then played for a bit longer and then it was bedtime.
5/23/2010	We slept in a bit again this morning and then had donuts for breakfast and hung out with Grandma and Grandpa. I played a game with Grandma and Callie did magic tricks for everyone and then they packed up to head home. We ate lunch and wrapped Jace's gift and then it was time to head to his party. It was at a motel so we all went swimming and had a lot of fun. I even went down the waterslide all by myself! Mommy waited at the bottom just in case I needed help but after a few times I was fine getting to the side without any help and I just kept going and going. We had supper there and cake of course and then Jace opened gifts! Finally it was time to come home and I fell asleep in the car so Mommy carried me up and put me to bed.
5/22/2010	I slept in until 8 and Callie slept until 8:30 so Mommy was happy about that because we have a BIG day! We started getting ready about 11 and that is when Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came! We ate lunch and got all ready and then Daddy took us. Our first performance was at 1 but we had to be there at 12:15. Mommy and Grandma did some shopping and so did Daddy and Grandpa and then they got ready for the evening performance. Daddy dropped them off for a drink while he picked us up (which he thought would be a little after 4 but it was 5) and then we picked up the grown ups and all went to Jimmy Johns for a very quick supper. We had to be back at 5:45 for the 6:30 show. The grown ups found their seats - in the 5th row so that was great - and waited for the show to start. We did a fabulous job of course and it was finally done at 10 - and we were tired. We came home, took our make-up off, had a snack, and went to sleep.
5/21/2010	No school but of course I didn't sleep in that much. After breakfast Mommy and I went to her college bookstore so she could get books for her summer classes and then we picked up Callie at Camille's house. We ate lunch and Mommy tried to get her to rest but she didn't want to. We watched some tv and then it was time to get ready for our dress rehearsal. We had to get our costumes on, do our hair, and then Mommy went through the drive through at McDonalds so we could eat on the way. We had to be there at 5 so Daddy met us there. They only let you take pictures and record it during dress rehearsal so they both wanted to be there. Callie and I were done by 9 so we could go home but the other kids had to stay until they were done.
5/20/2010	The last day of school!! Mommy told us if we hurried to get ready we could stop and get a donut on the way so of course we hurried. She took us to school and we both had a funfilled day. Daddy even met us for lunch and we ate outside today since it was so nice out. Mommy picked us up and then we had a snack and went through our backpacks with her. Mommy dropped Callie off at Camille's for a sleepover and then took me to Hip Hop. I had my regular dance and then afterwards it was a big practice for the recital so Mommy met Daddy for a drink while they waited. I was done at 6 and the three of us went to eat at Granite City! Daddy and I went on a quick bike ride when we got home and then it was time for bed.
5/19/2010	Today was Callie's field day so she played kickball and games outside. I had a Beach Party today so I took my towel and we played "volleyball" with a beachball in our room. I was a little worried about it beforehand because I didn't know how to play and I thought the kids would make fun of me but afterwards I told Mommy I had fun. I saw Tara today and we talked about our trip coming up and I told her I wanted to see her again before the trip so she had to move people's appointments around just so she could see me next week! Callie had ballet tonight and I rode my bike over to Nolan's to see if he could play outside while Daddy mowed but he was gone so I just played by myself but Mommy was very impressed that I was brave enough to go ring their doorbell and ask!
5/18/2010	Today was my field trip. We took a bus to the farm and we all took turns feeding a bottle to a baby calf and then we all held baby pigs. They pooped on some of the kids! We watched how they milked the cows and then we all had chocolate milk for a snack. It was really fun and next we headed on the bus to the fairgrounds where we ate sack lunches and toured the pioneer school house there. Last we took the bus to the park and had cookies and played until school was over. Mommy had a big day to because she went to her new college and had orientation classes! After school, I went to Brooke's house and then after supper Callie went to Karissa's house to play until 7.
5/17/2010	Today is our last Monday of school! I had Pig Mania day where we learned more things about pigs and had pig snacks and pig stickers on all of our papers. My teacher LOVES pigs and of course tomorrow we all get to hold baby pigs on our field trip. It was also my field day but Mommy says it is nothing like track and field used to be so it isn't that exciting. Mostly we played games outside. After school Callie had Karissa over and I had Alisha over. I had Hip Hop at 6 and Mommy had to help with VBS decorations at 6 too so we all ate fast and headed out to the door.
5/16/2010	Today was our last day of Sunday School and I was excited because it was my turn in the kitchen and we made biscuits and a lemonade tea. Callie painted at the creation station while Mommy and Daddy enjoyed their last coffee date. We played outside while Mommy cleaned the garage and worked outside. We even rode our bikes down to Nolan's house and played there for awhile. I had Hip Hop at 4 so I ate McDonalds before that and then Mommy, Daddy, and Callie went to the mall to shop and eat supper before picking me up at 6. It was time for showers and bed after that - only four days of school left!!
5/15/2010	We had dance pictures this morning so Mommy had to wake up Callie and it was pretty hard since she was up late last night! Her pictures were at 8:30 and mine were at 9 but they were in Brandon so we had to leave early to get there in time. Afterwards we headed home to play one last time with the kittens and then we took them back to the Humane Society. Mommy cleaned out the guest room and then Allie and her sister showed up so we played all afternoon with them.
5/14/2010	I felt better today and so did Mommy, which was good because she went on a day long field trip with Callie's class! They left on a bus at 8:30 and went to Madison to Prairie Village. They toured lots of old buildings, had a picnic lunch, went on a train, rode the carousel, and had a lot of fun! They got back just a few minutes before the last bell rang and picked me up and we all went home. We played with the kittens and went to the park since it was finally a nice day out! Daddy grilled and mowed and I went to bed but Callie stayed up and enjoyed the nice evening. She went on a bike ride with Mommy and then they watched The Blind Side together.
5/13/2010	I slept all through the night and Mommy knew if I woke up feeling like she felt yesterday, I wouldn't want to go to school. She was right - I still felt yucky so she had me stay home and Daddy took Callie to school. I rested and watched TV and after I took some medicine I showered and felt better. She decided I could go back to school at lunch if I was up to it and I was. She on the other hand dropped me off and came home and slept until we got home from school! I went to Hip Hop and after supper I went to bed early again just to make sure I felt good for tomorrow. Oh and Callie had her last day of ULE today so she had a party and took cookies to celebrate.
5/12/2010	Mommy didn't feel very good today but she had already agreed to watching my friend Kelly until 5 because her mommy is out of town and her dad works til 5 so she picked us up from school. Callie's group didn't finish yesterday so they also came over so again our house was filled with kids. She popped popcorn and made cookies and then after everyone left she was ready for bed. We ate supper and I told her I had a headache. She realized I didn't look that good either so she told me she would get me some medicine and we could read books together and go to bed early. She finished clearing the table and when she came upstairs, I was already in bed and fast asleep at 6:15!
5/11/2010	Daddy came and ate lunch with us today! Alisha wanted to sit by us and then four of Callie's friends joined us too so we had quite the lunch party. I had Brooke over after school and then Callie had three friends over that are all working on a school project together. I think Mommy was going a tad crazy with that many kids here AND we had the kittens out running all over and the dog was going crazy. After everyone left and it was calm again we ate supper and then I went to bed super early because I was quite tired from our weekend. Callie and Daddy hung out and played video games while Mommy walked Miley.
5/10/2010	Mommy subbed at our school again this morning but she was done at lunch time. She had to come back after school though for Girl Scouts. The girls had to write what they wanted to say at the ceremony because they had to present the patch that they "led" during the year. Callie's partner was sick so she had to do it all by herself but she did a great job! Everyone had dessert and lemonade afterwards and then we headed home. Daddy came to this one too and then we got a call that my glasses were in so he took me and Callie to the mall for supper and to pick them up. We even met Uncle Tom and Jace. Mommy picked up Dena and they worked on Vacation Bible School decorations together. There are a group of churches that get together and make them and share them every year (because they are quite time extensive and large) and our church and Dena's church does it so they went together.
5/9/2010	I forgot to tell you the Humane Society called yesterday to tell Mommy that they put the kitten back in with his mommy and he seems to be doing better so they are going to keep him for awhile. The other kittens are doing great at our house and Miley really likes them. They seem to like her too but they are really scared of Skittles and she is not fond of them either. I woke up and wished Mommy a Happy Mother's Day right away and then we had to give her our cards and gifts. We got her the New Moon movie and a black hills gold necklace that says MOM and she loved it! We took her out for lunch at Camille's because moms ate free there today and it is one of her favorite places anyway. Then we mostly hung out at home and played with the kittens.
5/8/2010	Mommy wanted to finish cleaning our house today so Daddy took us shopping. We went to Ace to decorate pots and then we picked out 8 flowers to plant in them and we brought them home for early Mother's Day gifts! Mommy was walking the dog when we got back so we put them on the front steps to surprise her. Callie's Girl Scout troop came over at 6 to scrapbook together and have pizza so Lauren's family asked if I wanted to go to her house to play with Avery during that time and of course I did! The girls had to take a few breaks to play with the kittens too of course!
5/7/2010	This morning was Pastries for Parents so Mommy and Daddy came and ate donuts witih us before school. Then Mommy went home to get the kittens because she brought them to my room today for Pet Day. My teacher was very excited because I had brought pictures in of them on Monday and she loves kittens. We closed the door and sat in a big circle and Mommy let them run around in the middle of us - sometimes they snuck through the circle and a few of the kids would chase after the kitty but for the most part, everyone stayed quiet and calm with them.
5/6/2010	Mommy dropped us off at school and then she had her final this morning. She went to the cupcake store after that and picked out fancy cupcakes for our teachers because this week is Teacher Appreciation week. She picked us up from school so we could walk in the cupcakes and deliver them to our teachers with our cards. They both were very excited because they had heard of the store but neither of them had tried it! I had hip hip today and we got our costumes. It is a sparkly shirt so I am a little more excited since it is pretty.
5/5/2010	Mommy and Daddy had an appointment this morning with Tara and I was excited that she was going to show them my feelings box I have been working on. Then Mommy picked me up at lunch because I had an appointment with her too. One of the kittens seems sick and isn't gaining any weight so Mommy had to take him back to the humane society today. After school we were very excited because Jace came over to play while Uncle Tom and Amber went to a magic show. Daddy brought home Subway so we ate supper together and then played outside for awhile. Mommy took Callie to ballet so she could study for her final and after Uncle Tom picked up Jace, Daddy put me to bed.
5/4/2010	Mommy subbed again today at our school but for a different teacher. Today was bring your favorite game and we had time to play lots of boardgames today in class - it was fun!
5/3/2010	Mommy subbed at our school again today! It was bring your favorite stuffed animal day today so I had a hard time deciding who to bring. After school, we had a Daisy meeting where we planted grass seed and soil in a nylon and put it in a cup to make a head. The grass hair will grow and then we can give him haircuts! At 4 the parents came and we had a small awards ceremony and dessert afterwards. Daddy came too and then we all came home.
5/2/2010	We had Sunday school this morning and then we went shopping for awhile. Callie's Girl Scout troop went swimming at 3 so I hung out with Daddy while he mowed. They came home around 5:30 and we grilled and then of course played with the kittens more!
5/1/2010	Happy May Day! We had fun with the kittens today. We were so excited to call Lauren and Avery to invite them over but Mommy made us wait until 9am. They came for awhile and then we took them to Home Depot with us to make flower boxes! We dropped them off before lunch and then headed home. At 2 I had a birthday party at Carousel Skate for Claire so Mommy dropped me off and then she went shopping with Callie and Daddy. We went out for a fancy supper at Bracco and I got a fun 'mocktail' with gummy bears in it - yum!! Then we played with the kittens a lot more before bed.
4/30/2010	Mommy subbed this afternoon and when she got home we were fighting. So needless to say it was almost 5 when she listened to the messages and found out there were foster kittens at the Humane Society we could have!! Daddy pulled in and we were so excited we had to leave right away. There are six kittens around 5 weeks old that we will keep for two weeks and then they will be old enough for adoption. They are eating food by themselves and using the litter box so it is pretty easy to take care of them - mostly we just have to play, play, and play! Callie and I had tons of fun naming them and trying to hold them - of course they are pretty wiggly. Mommy set everything up in the guest bedroom so they are away from Skittles and Miley. Miley is pretty excited about them being here though - she just kept pacing and panting all night long.
4/29/2010	Allie came over after school today to work on homework with Callie but she couldn't stay long because I had Hip Hop. I really didn't want to go - I want to quit but Mommy says I have to finish out the year and then next year I don't have to sign up again if I don't want to. Daddy had supper started by the time we got home so we ate, showered, and watched the rest of Avatar before bed. Callie was pretty excited today because she has been building a rocket in ULE and today they were able to launch them and then bring them home. She said hers went across the field and landed in the parking lot of the IPC Building which is pretty far away!
4/28/2010	Mommy had a dr. appt after school today so Callie and I just played at home until she got back. Then we walked down to the church to play basketball until supper time. Callie had ballet so I stayed home with Daddy and watched some more Avatar until bedtime.
4/27/2010	Mommy picked us up from school today and then we went to get our haircut! And once I had mine cut and my face showed more, Mommy noticed my cheek was swollen and slightly bruised! But I didn't notice and Mommy knew better than to say anything because I get very self-conscious about those kind of things. We came home and played and then showered before dinner. We ate supper on TV trays and watched part of Avatar with Daddy - Mommy was surprised we were excited to do that because usually we don't want to watch those kinds of movies. It is quite long we had to stop it and go to bed - hopefully we can watch more tomorrow.
4/26/2010	Thankfully my face didn't show any injuries from last night! Uncle Tom picked me up from school today so I was pretty excited about that. I hung out with him and Jace at Scheels and the mall until Callie and Mommy were done with the Girl Scout field trip. They went to Auntie Anne's pretzel shop in the mall. Each girl rolled her own pretzel and squeezed lemons for lemonade and then they all sat down to enjoy them - yummy!
4/25/2010	This morning I woke up and reminded Mommy it had been 6 weeks so I could change my earrings. She thought I might want to wait until after Sunday school but no I was quite ready. I did great too! I held my blankie but it only took a few minutes and it was done. I wore cute ones Aunt Bridget sent me for my birthday and then right before bed Mommy changed them back to my studs so my ears could rest a bit she said. After Sunday School we came home for just a short time and then we headed to the circus! We ate lunch there and had pretty good seats so it was fun. We came home and I went over to Kelly's house and jumped on her trampoline! She lives pretty close to us so Mommy said it will be fun to get together with her more over the summer. Callie made scrambled eggs tonight so she could finish up her cooking badge for Girl Scouts! After supper Callie and I watched some tv with Daddy and then it was time for bed. BUT while I was getting my clothes set out for tomorrow, Mommy was moving my step stool and ran into me hitting me in the face. It was quite the commotion and Mommy is a tad worried about what it is going to look like tomorrow!
4/24/2010	Today was supposed to be rainy but it turned out pretty nice so Mommy was sad because she had to spend all day doing homework but she finally finished with her class. Well she has to take a test but her final project is done - yippee! Daddy took us to the movie 'Training a Dragon' today and it was really good. Daddy grilled supper and then Charlie and Gloria came over after that. Callie and I read and then we had to go to bed.
4/23/2010	Mommy subbed today at our school so we met her afterwards and got a ride home with her. We went to Barnes and Noble first to get a gift for Lauren and had a cookie there. Once we got home Callie had to get her suit on and then we realized the party started at 5 and not 5:30 like Mommy thought so we had leave right away and Callie was still late - oops! We were just leaving the motel when Kim texted Mommy - she had seen us leave and she was just dropping Andrew off there for a party too! SO we all met up at Pizza Hut for supper (well not Andrew and Callie but the rest of us). We picked Callie back up afterwards and then went home to bed.
4/22/2010	Today was my tea party so I had to dress up all fancy like. I had a few issues with finding the right dress but for the most part kept it together so Mommy was impressed. Mommy & Daddy both came and since it was an "author's" tea party it was all about all the pieces I had written lately. I had a big paper briefcase that I took my writings out of and read to them. Then the parents wandered around while the students stayed sitting and they went to listen to other kids stories. They sat back down and we had lemonade and cookies and then we watched a digital presentation of us reading our stories that we wrote going with baby pictures of us. Dr. Manning had recorded us and I went and sat on Mommy's lap and told her not to make fun of me because I talked really quiet. Then it was over and they left but they had a really great time they said! After school I had hip hop and then Mommy had PTA so Daddy put us to bed.
4/21/2010	Happy Birthday Aunt Bridget! Daddy wasn't sure about going to work today but finally he decided he would. Mommy took us to school though and then she subbed there this afternoon. After school Callie rode her bike over to Jade's house and I had an appointment with Tara. I hung out with Daddy while Mommy took Callie to ballet after supper. I think Mommy feels like all she has been doing is running us around lately!
4/20/2010	Daddy came home sick from work today - he must have what I had because he has a fever and bad cough. I had my eye appointment after school and Callie went to Morgan's house so he had the house to himself. I haven't done eye drops since Christmas so Mommy was afraid it would be bad but they only lost one of the four lines they had gained so the Dr was happy and said with more drops again I should be doing great. I looked at new glasses but we didn't buy any yet. Mommy dropped me off at home and then picked up Callie so we could have a quick supper and get in the shower.
4/19/2010	Callie finished her Dakota Step Tests last week and now this week I have district testing. Thankfully they don't make as big of a deal out of it as they do in older grades so I didn't get stressed. We had Daisies today and we went bowling! Callie and Camille were able to bowl too off by themselves so they had fun. I had the sharing bag tonight so I found lots of fun toys I am taking tomorrow to share with everyone!
4/18/2010	Callie and I had Sunday School this morning and we started our last rotation. For some reason all the grades except fifth were in the movie theater so I was with Callie today! Mommy and Daddy picked up Grandma from the motel and she went with them for coffee and then came with to pick us up. We hung out at our house and Uncle Tom and Jace came over too. Grandpa came at lunch time and then we all had sandwiches. Mommy had to take Callie to the skating rink because some girls were getting together to skate and then everyone left. Daddy picked up Callie and then it was time for supper and bedtime.
4/17/2010	We met up with Grandma, Tom, Amber, and Jace at a new restaurant (Chedd's) for lunch today. It has lots of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches but of course I ended up not liking mine. Afterwards we all went to the zoo (well not mommy - she had to go home to work on schoolwork). We saw the baby tiger (which isn't so little anymore) and they were also celebrating Earth Day so they had a lot of booths to visit! It was a fun day. We came home and Mommy made supper, we played outside, and then we went to Grandma's motel to swim. They weren't there but she gave us her key so we could use the pool. We stayed for an hour or so and then came home. Mommy put us to bed and Daddy went to pick up Mommy's new phone!
4/16/2010	I didn't want to go to school this morning but Mommy said I was fine - no fever and just a small cough. But I was worried all the kids would stare at me every time I coughed and I was tired and I didn't eat very well yesterday so I was just a mess. Mommy had to sub so Daddy had to finish getting me ready. We watched a play at school today and Callie had a bubble blowing contest with bubble gum so it was a fun day (once I got there I was fine of course). After school I became difficult again but eventually Callie and I had fun playing outside. Daddy put up the trapeze bar and rings he bought us and we had a great time playing. Mommy and Callie took Miley on a walk while Daddy put me to bed.
4/15/2010	I was up a lot last night because we had two different thunderstorms go through the area. Mommy let me sleep in since she figured I better stay home from school this morning anyway. I woke up just as Daddy and Callie were leaving and I didn't have a fever but then around 10 I had a small one again. I watched TV and played games with Mommy. I didn't quite look up to going to school at lunch she decided so I stayed home all day. Callie came home and I was glad because I was bored but then she was invited to go to a park with her friend, Morgan. They picked her up and then Daddy said he would bring her home because she was at a park near his work. Luckily Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came soon after and I went with them to take their dog to the kennel. Mommy walked Miley then and we all met back at home. We all ate at Camilles (even Amber and Jace!) and then Daddy and I went home so I could get to bed. Callie and Mommy went with Grandma and Grandpa to the Art Show at school and showed them all around.
4/14/2010	I had an appointment today with Tara over lunch so I ate in the car on the way there and on the way back to school. Mommy sits in the waiting room and reads while I am there. After school I had Alisha over to play and Callie had Karissa over. Daddy grilled for supper and then he and Callie went shopping for a trapeze bar for our swingset! Mommy was putting me to bed when she realized I felt really hot and sure enough I have a fever - 101.5!
4/13/2010	I had a field trip today so Mommy came to my room after lunch to drive. We went to the Wellness Center first and took a tour and then played a game in the gym. Then we went to HyVee and toured the store taking a lot of time in the produce section learning about different fruits and vegetables. Mommy dropped us off, voted, and then came back to take us home. Callie went to the park to play with Allie but I just watched tv with Mommy. Daddy came home and we decided to go eat at Mama's Ladas for supper. We hadn't been there in a long time and as soon as we walked in the worker even said "Wow I haven't seen you guys in awhile!"
4/12/2010	I was excited to go to school today because we were celebrating my birthday AND because it was RAP (read all period). My class earns points and when we get enough we get a "prize" but we have to vote on it. Every single time I suggested RAP because Callie has it and I think it sounds fun but my friends always pick having a hat day or pajama day or something else until now. FINALLY we get a RAP day. So I took my pillow, blanket and a good book to read. It was fun! I took cookies for my snack to share and Dr. Manning gave me a treat bag. Callie started her Dakota Step tests today. Mommy and Daddy had written a nice Good Luck note (her teacher asked all the parents to do that) so she got to read it before her tests started. And she was allowed to chew gum during her test too! We had Girl Scouts afterwards and Mommy and Michelle brought lots of toppings and ice cream so the girls could make sundaes which they thought was super fun! Then they finished up a couple of things on their patches and they decorated their scrapbook covers. Daddy grilled for supper and then we watched the second half of Planet 51. I came up and found Mommy and told her I was ready for bed again - apparently the weekend is catching up to me or else I am getting sick.
4/11/2010	Happy Birthday to me!! Callie slept in my room last night and I woke her up nice and early because I was so excited to unwrap my gifts! We came in to get Mommy and Daddy - they weren't quite as excited to get up that early but they did. They gave me a house and ramp for my zhu zhu pet, a DS game, books, and Callie gave me a neat clay monster creation that we opened and made right away! I was holding my arm funny all morning so Daddy thought I should really go to the dr. Callie didn't want to miss Sunday School because today it was her turn to do the experiments so we dropped her off first and then went to Acute Care. Daddy stayed with for a bit but then he had to leave to go pick up Callie and said he would come get us afterwards. He figureed we would still need an Xray and that would take time but the dr said he didn't think I would need one. I just needed ice and some time for it to heal. Mommy and I decided to walk home since it was so nice and Daddy and Callie pulled up to ask us if we needed a ride just as we reached our mailbox! We all went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch and then we came home to play. Daddy mowed and Mommy worked on homework but Callie and I had a fun afternoon. We ate supper early (My favorite mac and cheese) and then took showers and went to bed early. Callie has her big Dakota Step tests for the next two weeks so she has to get lots of rest her teacher said so she went to bed early too! When I went to bed I told Mommy my wrist felt MUCH better so she didn't have to worry anymore.
4/10/2010	I woke up early of course because I was so excited for the party. I helped Mommy make the cupcakes and then we ate lunch and it was time to go. Mommy helped some of the girls get their skates on and two of the moms stayed because those girls hadn't ever skated before. We all went to eat cupcakes, ice cream sandwiches, and pop around 2 and then I opened my gifts. I got two new webkinz, some make up, a barbie, and other gifts. We went to skate some more and then I fell down and hurt my wrist! I cried a lot and Daddy got me ice and then I just sat and watched the girls for the rest of the party. At home, Callie and I played outside while Daddy grilled and then I told them I was tired and ready for bed (at 6:30). Callie read to me and I was asleep by 7. Mommy and Callie went on a bike ride and wrapped my gifts for tomorrow.
4/9/2010	Today was Pizza Bingo so we were excited! We played for a bit afterschool and then it was time to go. Daddy got home and he had invited Uncle Tom and Jace to meet us so found them at the school. We ate our pizza and then Mommy had to work a shift selling the pizza while we hung out and started playing Bingo. I was very intense about Bingo and got upset if I couldn't hear the number. Mommy had talked to me about how not everyone wins and I agreed it was just for fun but as the night went on she could tell I was getting more and more upset. Thankfully we finally won a raffle prize and boy did I jump out of my chair and run to the stage SO fast! I got a neat new water bottle and a Camille's gift card. We left at 8:30 so it was close to 9 before I got in bed.
4/8/2010	Mommy subbed again today at our school (she has really been there a lot lately!) We met her afterwards and then didn't have much time at home before Hip Hop. Mommy was really rushed and she took the dog but forgot the leash so she couldn't walk the dog. Then she realized she forgot the phone so she couldn't call dad like she was supposed to either. Callie and Mommy ran to Dena's (who lives very close to the dance studio) and borrowed their phone. We met Daddy at Burger King afterwards and ate supper then we headed home for showers.
4/7/2010	Mommy was excited to finally have a day off. Daddy took us to school so she could get her school work together and head to the coffee shop. She even finished the garage (finally) when she got home. Callie and I had Lauren and Avery over after school. The older girls went down to the church to play basketball for awhile. After supper, Mommy took Callie to ballet and Daddy and I read before bed.
4/6/2010	Back to school today! Mommy subbed there again so we went to her room after school. It rained all day. Callie is having lots of friend drama, as Mommy calls it, so she wasn't in a very good mood. I, on the other hand, was very happy and goofy most of the night.
4/5/2010	Callie and I slept in the guest room last night and we actually slept in a bit so Mommy was happy. Daddy had today off so he worked more in the backyard and then he and Callie went to pick up a trailer. Mommy started helping load all the branches but then it was time for to take me to my appointment. When we came home, they had already left. Brooke called me to invite me over to play and after I went, Mommy, Callie, and Daddy went to the mall and Menards. Daddy got more stuff for the garage and then they came home to work on that. Daddy said this certainly has NOT been a vacation day for him since he didn't even get to play video games! Mommy picked me up and we ate supper then showered and got ready to go back to school tomorrow.
4/4/2010	Happy Easter!! Mommy had told us not to wake up before 6 but of course we did. We were up at 5:30 and whispered "only 20 minutes left" and "10 minutes left" until finally at 6AM we woke them up. Of course she had been awake all along since we don't whisper very quietly! We found lots of eggs with jelly beans, money, and hair barettes and pony tail holders in them. Finally we found our baskets - they were way in the basement this year!! We had webkinz, zhu zhu pet babies, bubbles, chalk, a bug house, and of course a chocolate bunny in them. Mommy and Daddy went back to bed but Callie and I played and played. I had a great day today in fact so Mommy and Daddy were very proud of me. We went out for brunch and then after that Daddy finished the yard while Mommy continued the garage. Daddy decided to buy a rail with attachments for all our things in the garage so he was back and forth to Menards all evening. Callie and I went to bed a little before 8 since we had been up so early.
4/3/2010	Grandma and Grandpa left this morning and then we headed to Home Depot to make butterfly houses! We ate lunch and then Mommy went shopping and Daddy headed home so we could play. Once Mommy got home, he started using his new chain saw to cut down all our bushes and Mommy started cleaning the garage. They had to stop early so we could eat and then Daddy went to the indoor football game with Jason. Mommy got us ready for bed and Callie and I slept on the floor in her room so I wasn't afraid of the Easter bunny. First we left carrots and milk and of course a note for the bunny.
4/2/2010	We were excited to get up and play more with Grandma and Grandpa so of course we didn't sleep in much. Grandpa headed to the bank (and Daddy had to work) so Mommy boiled eggs for us to decorate. Grandma even did one or two! We ate lunch and then went shopping. Grandma let me pick out a toy for my birthday present and I chose a Moxie - a new kind of barbie doll! Then we went to Stride Rite and Grandma got both me and Callie new Keens for our Easter present. We came home to play and once Daddy got there he grilled supper. We had to go to bed after that so the grown ups could watch a movie.
4/1/2010	I forgot to tell you that yesterday I woke up early again and this time asked Mommy if she could help me get my tooth out! It has been very loose for a long time and I told Mommy it was getting hard to swallow. Of course she barely had to touch it and it fell right out! So this morning I was excited to go downstairs to see what the tooth fairy brought me. I had a half dollar along with more quarters in my tooth box. We played this morning and then Mommy had to leave for an appointment. When she came home we were coloring so nicely and we all had a great afternoon. We played outside and walked to the park and then finally Grandma and Grandpa Robinson came! Daddy got home about the same time and then we headed to Olive Garden for supper.
3/30/2010	Today is our last day of school!! Mommy said she is especially ready for a break. We played outside after school and then it was time for supper and bed. I had to go to bed at 6:45. Mommy and Callie left to walk Miley so Daddy could put me to bed and Mommy could get a break from all the drama I cause!
3/29/2010	Mommy is subbing at our school again - the teachers have been teasing her about how she should just be considered full time since she is always there! Daddy drove for Callie's field trip today. It was the water festival at the local college and they had to walk from building to building to see and listen to different people. He said it was pretty fun! He also started working for a new client and they want him to be onsite so after lunch he went there for his first day. Callie had Girl Scouts after school and the two girls whose turn it was to lead had chosen the cooking patch so they made smoothies and mini yogurt fruit pies. I was tired from waking up early (again) and hadn't eaten my snack yet when I found out I couldn't play with them while they were doing the restaurant portion of the patch and it turned really ugly!! Mommy had to take me outside for awhile. We stopped at Dena's afterwards to deliver her cookies and we played outside with the kids a bit. Supper was late and guess what? I had more issues. Bedtime was not fun because Mommy and Daddy were angry with me and I didn't want to fall asleep but they wouldn't let me leave my room. It took a long, long, time but eventually I calmed down and went to sleep.
3/28/2010	I woke up early again today telling Mommy I had a bad dream again. She did get me to eat right away though so the morning went pretty smoothly and I even showered before Sunday School. Callie made pottery this morning and I was in the science experiment room which was really fun! We went to Palm Sunday church this morning and got our palm branches. After lunch Daddy took me to a play while Mommy and Callie went shopping. Callie had a birthday party in Brandon for supper so we all decided to go to eat there. Callie went back in the party room with her friends while we ate in front (Pizza Ranch) and we saw Lauren's family doing the same thing so we ate with them. Avery and I hung out then and played games together after we ate.
3/27/2010	I slept in a little bit (7:30) so Mommy was happy about that since she figured I had to be tired from yesterday! Callie and I hung out with Daddy all morning while Mommy headed to the coffee shop to work on homework -she said she is very behind. After lunch Callie met Allie at the park again and I had Brooke over to play. Mommy came home and had to start counting cookie money and Callie was home by then so she helped. I had a sandwich and gogurt at home and then we all went to Hu Hot to eat (well I just had a milk because I don't like eating there). They sent me a birthday coupon for dessert though so after everyone ate we got a s'mores tray with a tiny fire in the middle so we could all roast marshmallows. It was really fun!
3/26/2010	I woke up really early this morning (as in 5:40) and Mommy tried to get me back to sleep but I just couldn't. I told her I had a bad dream and everytime I closed my eyes it came back. Of course this meant Mommy was trying to get ready, Daddy was still sleeping so I didn't want to eat first and the morning did NOT go well. School was fun though! It was our last day of Junior Achievement so we had a treat with the teacher AND it was Robert Frost's birthday so we had a treat for that too! Even Mommy stopped at the store to get cookies for her class so they could celebrate. After school Callie and I walked to the park to play with Allie and her sister for awhile. We came home and Daddy grilled. We had our supper on TV trays while we watched a movie!
3/25/2010	This morning I was in a wonderful mood. I woke up and just went right downstairs for breakfast without any encouragement. I ate and then I went upstairs and got dressed without any clothes issues or hair issues - Mommy was amazed! It was one of the first mornings she went to work in awhile without being so stressed and angry. she isn't sure if it is the food, the fact that St Patricks Day is finally over, or that Daddy is also helping with everything in the morning. Hopefully it happens again though! I had hip hop after school so Callie and I came home on the bus so we had time to play. Mommy and Callie read while I danced and then we met Daddy at Cici's for Robert Frost Night.
3/24/2010	This morning I was upset about my schedule AGAIN but went downstairs and finally decided on breakfast. It went a little smoother than yesterday so Mommy and Daddy were happy. Mommy gets to sub at my school today and tomorrow and maybe even Friday! After supper Daddy took Callie to ballet so Mommy and I read and then she put me to bed. I was in a very good mood tonight - well for the most part: Mommy touched me on the head (in a loving way) but I got mad that she messed up my hair so I had to redo it all over but then I calmed down. For the most part though bedtime was much less stressful than it has been I guess so she told me she was quite happy with me. Daddy and Callie stopped at Dairy Queen for a bedtime snack so they could have some alone time.
3/23/2010	I woke up and Mommy reminded me of my new schedule. At first I started getting upset because I had written it out last night but decided this morning it was too messy to read. Mommy got me to calm down and finally come downstairs. By that time Daddy was ready and he helped humor me out of my bad mood. He brushed my hair (to prevent me from seeing it all messy looking which is another thing that sets me off) while I waited for my waffle to pop up and things went a bit smoother. Mommy had to leave early because she is subbing at our school again. Today we had Mindcore at our school - we had to answer 100 questions to help raise money for a climbing wall and other things our school is trying to fundraise for. I had been kind of stressed about it even though Mommy told me she didn't care how I did since she just pledged a flat amount. I was more worried about if a boy was going to ask my questions or a girl. Luckily it was a girl! After school, Callie and I went to Mommy's room and waited for her. We saw Alisha's mom just as we were leaving and she asked me if I wanted to go with her and play with Alisha and of course I said YES! I came home at supper and then I rode my bike while Mommy walked Miley. Bedtime was stressful again and I cried again about my new schedule being messy but Mommy said it was too late to redo it - I had to wait until tomorrow. I was NOT happy about that but finally gave up and went to bed.
3/22/2010	Mommy subbed at our school today and she had outside duty after school so Ella's mom started off Daisies without her. We made cute Easter Bunny cups and she even brought candy for us to put in them! We had some extra time to play outside before parents started picking up the girls. At home, Callie and I played outside and then ate supper as soon as Daddy got home. Mommy walked Miley while we played and then it was time for bed as soon as she got home. Daddy and Mommy talked to me about eating breakfast first before doing other things so that maybe I won't be as crabby in the morning plus it will prevent bathroom fights between me and Callie too. I am not so sure I like the idea of doing things differently but I said I would try it.
3/21/2010	Grnadma and Grandpa left early this morning and then it was time for Sunday School. We started our new rotation this week and it is all about Easter. I made pottery and a necklace in the creation station. Callie dressed up and did a mini play in the theater station. Today was Callie's day to sell Girl Scout cookies at Sunshine Grocery Store. Luckily it was super nice out so they stood outside. Mommy just watched because the girls can pretty much handle everything themselves now. Daddy and I went to Sam's club and Best Buy. We grilled for supper and played outside and it was very hard to come in for showers and bedtime.
3/20/2010	Callie and I woke up and got ready for our breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa this morning. We had given them a gift card for Christmas so Mommy told us it was like we got to take them for breakfast instead! Then we went shopping and they bought us more yummy popcorn for our whirly popper! We met Mommy and Daddy back home and hung out there for awhile. Grandpa ended up going shopping with Uncle Tom and Jace and Callie went with Grandma. Mommy was hoping I might nap but no luck there so instead I just rested and then went a bike ride with Daddy to the grocery store. My face got a bit chilly but it was still fun. We all met at Red Lobster for an early supper and then everyone came back to our house until bedtime.
3/19/2010	Yippee it is Friday! Today was our last day of reading buddies - we shared Oreos with them. Mommy picked us up from school since she had messed yesterday up. We came home and played until Grandma and Grandpa Ivey came. Daddy was home soon after that and Mommy made barbecues for supper. Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace came too. Uncle Tom brought a Cold Stone Cake for dessert and then I had to go to bed.
3/18/2010	Happy Birthday Uncle Tom! I woke up worried about if leprechauns came into our house and wanted Callie to go look before I would go downstairs. Callie and I were excited about school today though because it was Tremendous Thursday and we got out at 1pm! Mommy was helping today too. Kindergarten and first grade get to go to four different fun activities that are already picked for us so I saw a storytime/drama person, made a treasure box, talked with someone from the Humane Society, and the ZooMobile came with fun animals. The older grades get to pick 2 activities out of lots of choices and field trips. Callie picked Foot Spa/Hair styling where she soaked her feet, had her toenails painted and made fuzzy flip flips as well as got her hair done and for her second activity she went to Home Depot for a woodworking class and made a sailboat. Mommy was a driver for that so she had fun. Of course we had asked Mommy if she would pick us up today and she said yes. Then I asked her what if she wasn't there and she said "oh that isn't going to happen, but I guess if I wasn't there you could get on the bus" WELL GUESS WHAT? She wasn't there so we rode the bus. She was just sick that she was late, especially knowing my anxiety over things just like this, but it turned out it was good I had asked what to do because then I was fine since I knew what to do. She was expecting me to come off the bus either crying hysterically or very, very mad but I was just fine. I told her she should probably come get us tomorrow though since she had said she would pick us up! We played outside without coats all afternoon until hip hop and then we grilled for supper.
3/17/2010	Happy St. Patrick's Day! Mommy is glad this day is finally here because I have been so scared to sleep ALL week because I have been afraid that leprechauns might come into my room. And then when I don't get my sleep I become really difficult with everything else so Mommy has decided she hates St. Patricks Day. We all wore green though even Daddy! It was super nice out today so we played outside but then I had a doctor's appointment. It was a special doctor that Mommy said could help me come up with new ways to deal with my anger and other feelings. She was afraid I would get angry and not want to go but I was ok with it all. Of course I came home and totally fell apart so Mommy and Daddy were not impressed.
3/16/2010	Mommy surprised us by picking us up from school today. She dropped off Callie at Daddy's work so she could deliver all the Girl Scout cookies and we headed back home. I had Alisha over to play. Daddy and Callie came home around 4 and Charlie met them here because Mommy has been freaking out about how much water has been in our sump pump hole and we didn't have a pump in there. So Daddy and Charlie put one in and got it running so now hopefully we don't have to worry about getting water in our basement because all the snow is melting FAST!
3/15/2010	It was bring your favorite marker to write with today so I had to find mine before going to school. I sure love all the fun days Dr. Manning has for us. Callie lost her gym bag and her tennis shoes were in there so Mommy is not very happy about that and told Callie she needs to look everywhere at school for it! We had Girl Scouts today. The art teacher was there trying to get some work done and the girls were really loud so Mommy decided to wrap up early and just let the girls play outside since it was pretty nice out. We left a bit early so Mommy could take Miley to the vet but Callie and I decided to stay home.
3/14/2010	We were all so tired and with the time change we slept until almost 9am! So we skipped Sunday School and were just lazy all morning. I was very excited and scared about getting my ears pierced and I kept asking Mommy if I should or shouldn't but she just said I had to make the decision. She also told me if I did go ahead with it, I had to remember to clean them ALL the time and not let them get infected like what happened with Callie. Uncle Chuck had sent us money for his Girl Scout cookies awhile ago and sent us extra and told us that "Caring is Sharing" and he wanted us to share with our favorite charity. SO I had Mommy send my part to Chile so she donated it to the Red Cross for me and Callie wanted to get dog food for the Humane Society so we went and bought the food today at Sam's Club. Then we went to the mall and I did it!! I got my ears pierced. Mommy and Daddy were very impressed that I didn't cry or anything - I had brought my teddy bear and squeezed Mommy's hand and then it was done. We met Uncle Tom and Jace for supper at the mall and then it was time to come home and get ready for school tomorrow.
3/13/2010	Callie and I played this morning while Mommy and Daddy went and got groceries. Alisha came over around 11 and played with me while Daddy made us lunch. Callie had been invited to a roller skating get together with a lot of fourth graders so Mommy decided I could invite Alisha over and go along. She took homework and kept busy while we skated. Callie was disappointed that some of the girls didn't come that had said they were coming but there were still about 6 she knew. We dropped Alisha and Camille off and then Mommy and Daddy made supper. I was getting really tired and I wanted to get my ears pierced tomorrow so Mommy said I could only do that if I went to bed on time - if I wanted to go to the bullriding thing then I would have to nap Sunday afternoon. I couldn't decide at first but then chose to stay home with Daddy and we had a snack together before I went to bed. Mommy and Callie went to the bull riding event and I guess they really enjoyed it but it was late when they got home!
3/12/2010	This morning was Muffins in the Morning for fourth and fifth graders but I came along too. After school I had my friend, Kelly, over to play. Callie had Madison over so we both kept very busy and Mommy got some things done around the house. They both went home around 5:30 so it was after 6 by the time we ate supper and that might have been too late for me because I had a huge fit about silly stuff and the night went downhill from there. We were going to go to the bullriding event but Mommy and Daddy decided that was just not going to work out.
3/11/2010	Mommy subbed at our school today so she saw Callie's orchestra concert this morning when they put it on for all the students. I had hip hop after school and then we met Daddy at Jimmy Johns for supper. Callie had to be at school at 6:30 so we had to hurry and then we watched her concert again. She did a great job but it was late by the time we got home and in bed.
3/10/2010	I had a leprechaun leave me a note in my desk! Some of my friends had green candy or a green bookmark in theirs. So our class decided to make a trap and we are going to see if we can catch him. My friend, Brooke, is sure she saw him running down the hallway but I didn't see him. I had Brooke over after school and a few other friends stopped by to pick up their cookies to deliver. Mommy took Callie to ballet and I wasn't very happy about that so Daddy had a hard time getting me to bed tonight.
3/9/2010	Mommy has been busy with homework and some PTA things so she didn't take any sub jobs. Instead she came and ate lunch with us today! After school she took a break and popped us popcorn and we watched the Amazing Race together. Then it was time to go pick up my troop's Girl Scout Cookies. Daddy met us there and helped load the truck and then helped unload when we got home. Mommy had to pile them all in the guest bedroom because she was afraid Miley would tear into them if she just put them in the living room. Callie practiced her violin for her concert and I had some reading and then it was time for bed.
3/8/2010	Back to school today. Mommy helped in my room and then I had Daisies! We learned about how to be a sister to every girl scout - it was our last petal so we have now officially earned all our daisy petals! We met Uncle Tom, Amber, and Jace for supper tonight at Culvers.
3/7/2010	We finished watching our movie this morning and then it was time for Sunday School. Callie and I were very busy playing again and we watched a movie with Daddy too. Callie practiced her violin a lot so she could get ready for her spring concert Thursday night. I helped Mommy get things ready for our Daisy meeting tomorrow and then it was time for bed.
3/6/2010	We woke up and played this morning while Mommy finished working on the kitchen. Daddy slept in late and then he put up Mommy's new curtains for our sliding glass door. They had to go pick up his car and then Mommy went shopping while we played. We watched part of Where the Wild Things Are before bed too!
3/5/2010	What a beautiful sunny day today! Mommy was energized to spring clean our kitchen I guess because when we came home the refridgerator was pulled out and she had quite the commotion going on. I thought that it looked like a great fort back there so I wanted to play but Mommy vetoed that idea. Brooke called me so I went over to her house to play. Mommy picked me up at 5 and then we went to eat at Red Rosa for girls night. Daddy went out with friends after work. We went shopping afterwards but we weren't very happy about it so Mommy got annoyed with us and we had to come home and go to bed.
3/4/2010	Callie felt much better this morning but Mommy had her stay home until lunch just to make sure she was ok and to give her some time to eat a good breakfast since she hasn't eaten much. Daddy took me to school but then Mommy came and read to my class after she dropped Callie off. It is Read Across America week in honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday so they always have parents come in and read all week long. Mommy's friend Michelle came and dropped her puppy off this morning for us to dogsit too. Callie played with her before going to school and Miley really loved her too. She was scared of Miley at first but then she started having lots of fun chasing Miley around (and this is Miley's favorite thing which is why she steals balls from other dogs at the dog park -she WANTS them to chase her!) so they had a great time and were very tired by the end of the day. Mommy was too - she forgot how exhausting little puppies are. She isn't quite housebroken yet and she kept wanting to chew on Mommy's scrapbooks so Mommy didn't get much done but watch the dogs but she still enjoyed it! I was quite hyper/happy at supper tonight making funny voices and being so jovial that Mommy asked me if I was the same Julia from last night (I had a super bad tantrum last night). I thought that was pretty funny so then I came up with more voices while Mommy pondered if bi-polar could mean manic/angry instead of manic/depressed!
3/3/2010	Mommy was supposed to sub at my school today but she had to cancel so she could stay home with Callie. Daddy took me to school all by myself and I rode the bus home all by myself too! Callie threw up a lot this morning - pretty much every time she drank something (and she tried many different things but that didn't help). She slept in the afternoon and finally when she woke up she could drink and even eat a few crackers without getting sick. She slept again around supper time and we ate without her. She watched TV with Daddy after I went to bed. She is starting to feel better but Mommy said she will stay home in the morning for sure just to get some food in her and give her some more rest time.
3/2/2010	Mommy subbed for 5th grade at a different school today - she was kind of nervous because she usually subs for younger grades but she had a great day I guess! Callie and I played after school and then Mommy made supper. I read to Daddy tonight before bed while Mommy and Callie took Miley on a walk. Callie ended up waking up at 2am feeling sick. Mommy sat with her for awhile and then she threw up and felt better. Mommy still sat with her and then she threw up again. After awhile she was getting sleepy and Mommy was too so they went back to bed but it turns out Callie woke up AGAIN to throw up so it was a long night for her.
3/1/2010	Callie had an orchestra field trip this afternoon to go watch the symphony - she said it was really neat! We had Girl Scouts after school and the girls in charge of todays meeting decided on a hair style patch so all the girls did each others hair. Mommy did mine for me too but then I had Michelle do mine over because she was doing much cooler ones than Mommy. Callie and I played outside after we got home while Mommy walked Miley and then we went to Pizza Hut because my book-it certificate expired today!
2/28/2010	Callie slept until 8 but she seemed much more rested and Mommy did too. We decided to go skiing today because Uncle Tom had some gift certificates we could use that expired today plus Mommy said the weather will start getting warmer soon and they will close. Callie wasn't very thrilled at first with going - she was nervous and they gave her longer skiis than before but once Daddy got them switched we had a good time. We even learned how to use poles becuase there was so much flat area we really needed them. We left about 3 so we could get stuff ready for school tomorrow, shower, and eat an early supper. Callie is Star of the Week so she had to get pictures out to take and fill out information sheets.
2/27/2010	Mommy had a very hard time getting the girls up since they had only slept for an hour or two and Mommy was very tired too. Daddy and I had donuts for them when they got home and they just watched tv and didn't move much. We ate an early lunch and then Mommy and Callie went to bed until about 4. They got up and we had some supper, watched Survivor, and then went to bed. Even Mommy went at 8:30 with Callie!
2/26/2010	Mommy subbed in my room today and it was blankie day so it was a great day for me! After school Callie and I played for awhile and then she had to pack and get ready for the sleepover (Mommy did too). Daddy brought home subs and then they left. Daddy and I played our new wii game, the Winter Olympics, and then we had a sleepover with the dog! Mommy and Callie had a great time too. It was at a church with over 100 other girl scouts there and they all had wristbands with a time on it for the ZooMobile show - they went to it at 9. They saw a skunk, a lizard, snake, milipedes, and a macaw. During the rest of the time they could just go from room to room for crafts, bingo, cupcake walk, karaoke, and the gym for inflatables. They also had a really neat theater room with movies going ALL NIGHT LONG! There was a snack area of nachos, hot dogs, and pop and then popcorn was in the movie room. They also won candy in the bingo area. SO lots to eat and lots to do. The crafts and most rooms closed at 11 so people could start setting up sleeping bags in the rooms but the inflatables stayed open until 2 and they had movies going until 7am which is when breakfast started and they had to leave by 8. Most of the girls stayed up ALL NIGHT - Mommy freaked. Callie was up until 5 and a few other girls were up until 6.
2/25/2010	Mommy subbed this morning in kindergarten across the hall so I saw her. In fact she called me at home before Daddy brought us and asked me to bring her hat because she had outside duty and forgot it! I had hip hop after school so Mommy and Callie dressed warm and walked Miley while I was there.
2/24/2010	We had hot chocolate day today in my class and Friday is bring your favorite blankie day - I can't wait for that one!! Last week we had bring your favorite pen to write with day - my teacher loves to have fun little things like and I sure get excited for them. I went over to Brooke's house after school. Mommy picked me up at 5 and then Callie and I had to get in our grass skirts and put out leis on while she made us noodles. We ate a quick supper and then she took us to church for a beach night! We played limbo, learned how to hula dance, had a snack, and a made sand art - it was really fun. Mommy dropped us off and then met Kim for a night out so Daddy picked us up and put us to bed.
2/23/2010	I had Alisha over after school today and Callie went over to Madison's. She got to see their new puppy that Mommy had went with to go get - they named her Bella. I think we even get to take care of her next week when Michelle goes out of town!
2/22/2010	Mommy helped in my room today and then we had Daisies! Mara joined our troop now so we have 9 girls. We made a thank-you for the taikwondo studio and we played a recycling game. We watched more olympics tonight after supper.
2/21/2010	We had Sunday school this morning and then right after lunch Avery and Lauren called inviting us over to play at their house for the afternoon! Mommy did some more scrapbooking while we were gone and then Uncle Tom and Jace stopped over after we got home.
2/20/2010	Mommy was cleaning this morning so Daddy took us to Target so I could pick out a birthday present for Kelly. After lunch I went to her house for a puppy party - it was a lot of fun! Then Mommy picked me up and we went straight to the Taikwondo studio for a Daisy Girl Scout lesson Mommy had arranged. The teacher was very funny and we did all kinds of neat things. A lot of parents told Mommy they were very impressed and she was too AND he was nice enough to do it for free for us so Mommy is going to have us make him a nice Thank You at our next meeting. We played the Wii with Daddy and then he put us to bed because Mommy had Dena over for a night of scrapbooking!
2/19/2010	Mommy was hoping for a sub job again today but no luck so she got her hair cut instead! And she went with Michelle to adopt the puppy - I guess she is quite cute. I went to Brooke's house after school to play. We watched Olympics after supper - Mommy had recorded Shaun White so we watched him and then some ice skating.
2/18/2010	Callie and I had appointments at the orthodontist this morning. Mommy picked us up from school at 10:15 so we could get there at 10:30. We all went back together (even Mommy!) but Callie sat down in the chair first so that made me feel better. He told us that Callie's mouth is crowded but since she was born without two permanent teeth that is good! She doesn't have to come back for a year. I have a cross bite so he wants me to come back in 6 months to see how my teeth are coming in. Mommy took us out for lunch and then dropped us back off at school. Then she went with Michelle to the Humane Society to look at a puppy Michelle might be adopting and she dropped off our foster parent application too. I had hip hop this afternoon and then Daddy left for darts after supper so Mommy put us to bed.
2/17/2010	Mommy took us to school again today - she was hoping for a sub job today but no luck. I went over to Brooke's house after school so Mommy and Callie played the Wii together. They picked me up a bit before five adn they had Skittles in the truck already. They had a hard time getting her in the car carrier I guess but they did it! We had to take her to the vet for shots so she has everything up to date in case we decide to be foster parents for baby kittens this spring. Mommy took Callie to ballet tonight so Daddy read with me before bed and then he went out with friends as soon as Mommy and Callie got home. They watched more olympics until it was time for Callie to go to bed.
2/16/2010	I was pretty excited to go to school today. In fact I even slept in my clothes last night so all I had to to do was jump out of bed. Mommy thought I was pretty silly but actually I almost always sleep in clothes but it is whatever I wore that day so wearing tomorrow's clothes to bed is new for me. Daddy went to work early again today so Mommy took us to school. I had a field trip this afternoon to a play and Mommy drove so she was back at school after lunch. We went to see the Frog and Toad at the Pavillion - it was very good! Mommy made cookies after school and we played after Callie did her homework. After I went to bed, Callie and Mommy watched the Olympics - Callie really enjoys watching the ice skating. Daddy had a make up game of darts so he left after supper.
2/15/2010	Daddy had to work today so it was just us girls this morning - we watched Amazing Race from last night. Alisha called me around lunch time to invite me over again so Mommy dropped me off after I ate a quick sandwich. Callie helped Mommy clean up a bit and then she invited Camille over to our house. Mommy scrapbooked so everyone had a great afternoon! After supper we had to get our backpacks ready to go because tomorrow we go back to school.
2/14/2010	Happy Valentine's Day! Mommy picked me up around 10:30 and then I had a birthday party at 11 so I didn't have much time at home. After lunch, Daddy, Mommy, and Callie went to Sams Club and then they picked me up at Chuck E Cheese when my party was over. Grandma & Grandpa Robinson had sent us Cold Stone Gift Cards for Valentine's Day so we went out for ice cream afterwards! I bought Mommy's and Callie bought Daddy's ice cream. We went home after that and played for awhile. Daddy grilled steaks for supper (a hot dog for me) and then I had to go to bed because I was super cranky. Uncle Tom and Jace came over after that to get some help on his computer so Callie played with Jace. She watched ice skating on TV and then it was time for her to go to bed too.
2/13/2010	Mommy and Callie went shopping this morning so Daddy and I did too. We played this afternoon and then Callie and Daddy went to sell a few more boxes of cookies - I had decided I didn't want to go because I just don't like talking to people. Alisha called me around supper time to invite me to sleep over so I quick grabbed my things and Mommy dropped me off. We ate macaroni and cheese over there and had tons of fun playing. Mommy, Daddy, and Callie decided to go eat at HuHot since I don't like eating there and then they came home and watched the Olympics. Callie also worked on her new stamp collection.
2/12/2010	Callie and I weren't getting along that well this morning so Mommy was going a bit crazy but then we went shopping and it got better. We wanted to go to GoodWill to get dress up shoes because Mommy has given us a few of her old ones but we wanted some fancy high heeled boots. Callie and I both picked out a pair but then she saw a neat dress instead so she bought that and I got my boots. We came home and had fun played for quite awhile. At 2 we had hair appointments with Mommy's hairstylist, Greta, so we were quite excited. Callie went first and got hers cut short again like she did last summer. After I saw hers, I decided to get mine short too but not as short as hers. Mommy thinks we both look adorable! After supper we all decided to watch Mrs. Doubtfire together!
2/11/2010	Callie was invited to a friends house this morning so she walked over there at 10:30 but Mommy warned her she might have to come home soon if no one could watch me. Luckily Alisha's mom said I could come over there so Mommy dropped me off and then she had a meeting at lunchtime at USF. Callie walked home at 2 and they picked me up at 2:30 and then it was time to go to Brandon to swim! Today is Matt and Megan's fifth birthday so we met them at a motel pool to swim until supper. It was a lot of fun! They went home to open gifts and since Daddy was working late and going straight to darts, we decided to eat at Pizza Ranch. I had to get right to bed when we came home but Callie stayed up to watch Survivor with Mommy.
2/10/2010	Our first day of vacation and I woke up at 6am. Mommy was NOT very happy but I was just so excited because she mentioned last night that we could bring the play kichen upstairs (big mistake she realizes now) so I started getting a great idea about making a camper as soon as I woke up. I laid with her for awhile but then I just couldn't stand it any longer. Callie woke up and we made our play camper and had lots of fun all morning in it. After lunch Mommy walked Miley and then we had Gillian, Adam, Jacob, and Dena over. We played inside and outside all afternoon - it was lots of fun. We had supper and then I had to shower and get to bed early. Mommy and Callie played boardgames until her bedtime.
2/9/2010	Happy Valentine's Day! Well not really but at our school it was because today was our last day of school until the 16th! Mommy made cupcakes, jello jigglers, and heart shaped candies for our snack and we played Twister before opening all of our valentines. Callie's class made ice cream sundaes, played limbo, and did some fun dances. OH and I keep forgetting to tell you that Callie had her first Book Battle last week and her team won (81-12)so she was very excited. Her team is called Brightly Colored Book Lovers - they have five people on a team and they have to read lots of books from a list and during one of their recesses, they meet with the principal and the other team and have to try and answer lots of questions on the books. Tonight we met Daddy at school for conferences and both of our teachers said we are doing a great job!!
2/8/2010	Today was a busy day! My class had both a firefighter AND a nurse come in (at different times) to talk to us. And last week we had a dental hygeniest come. SO Mommy didn't have to volunteer so since we had visitors. But we did have Daisies today. We made valentines and turtles. Mommy had to work at the book fair afterwards so Callie and I just looked at books and helped make sure they stayed neat looking. I also helped bag peoples purchases. Once she was done she rushed us home, said good bye, and then left for Brookings. Her uncle died and she wanted to go to the wake and visit with her cousins since she couldn't go to the funeral tomorrow. Daddy fed us supper, helped Callie with her homework, and put us to bed because Mommy didn't get home until very late.
2/7/2010	Mommy and Daddy took us to Caribou this morning before Sunday School because then they dropped us off and got groceries while we were in class. Mommy did some shopping after lunch and then later this afternoon Uncle Tom and Jace came over. They picked up Daddy so he could help them computer shop. They brought subs home and we all ate together while watching the Super Bowl. I was rooting for the Colts because of Peyton Manning since my teacher's name is Dr. Manning (and that is who she likes). I had to go to bed early when Uncle Tom and Jace left but Callie stayed up with Mommy and Daddy to watch the rest of it.
2/6/2010	Daddy had to work today so we helped Mommy clean up our playroom and then we had friends over after lunch. Callie had Lauren and I had her sister Avery over and we had lots of fun. Daddy came home after 4 and took them home so Mommy could walk Miley and then Charlie and Gloria came over. They brought Cayenne so she could play with Miley.
2/5/2010	It is Friday!! I saw Mommy at school today because she had to talk to Dr. Manning about the Valentines Day Party. After school Callie and I played and Mommy made supper. We watched some TV together and then we played the new game we got Daddy before bed.
2/4/2010	Happy Birthday Daddy! We wrapped his gifts after school and made cards and then I had hip hop so Callie and Mommy went to pick out a cookie cake. They were so busy talking that Mommy walked right out of the store without paying for it!! They were almost to the truck when she asked Callie if they had paid and Callie freaked and said NO and that she as cold so she just wanted to wait in the truck (I think she was just scared). Mommy ran in and paid and told Daddy later that be better really appreciate his cookie now!! It turned out that darts was cancelled so instead of omelets like we were going to have, we went to Texas Roadhouse instead and then came home so he could open his gifts.
2/3/2010	It was Mommy's last day of subbing in my room! We all went down to walk through the bookfair so we could make a wishlist for conferences. Of course I think Mommy was a tad stressed because they told her to keep an eye on the little things and of course that is what all of us wanted to play with and touch. Mommy dropped Callie off at Daddy's work to sell cookies while Mommy and I got Valentine's things out. She has to plan my party yet and it Tuesday already since we have the rest of the week off next week so she needs to hurry! We met Daddy, Callie, and Tom, Amber, and Jace for supper because it was Amber's first day at her new job and Jace's first day at daycare! Callie had ballet so Daddy took her straight there and Mommy brought me home to put me to bed.
2/2/2010	Happy Groundhog Day! We have had Miley for two whole years now. Did I tell you how much Skittles meowed and meowed when we got back from our trip? She was yelling at us I guess because I bet she was lonely. She is also turning into a different cat without the others around. She comes to sit by us a lot more and even sleeps with us for part of the night. She even seems to tolerate Miley more! Mommy subbed in my room again today so after school I played on the computer and wrote on the white board while I waited for her. Callie sold cookies to her teacher and then helped in her room - she came back yesterday from maternity leave by the way!
2/1/2010	Mommy is subbing in my room for three days! After school was Girl Scouts but Madison and Ann were leading the meeting so Mommy was able to sit back and watch. I was pretty cranky so Mommy put me in bed around 6:30 to read and then I was asleep before 7. Callie had to go to bed early too because Mommy let her stay up and watch the Grammy's last night (not the whole show but until Taylor Swift sang).
1/31/2010	We had Sunday school this morning and I was in the computer lab while Callie was in the creation station. She made a frame with seashells and a filled a bottle with colored sand. I went to Alisha's birthday party after lunch - it was at her house and we had a lot of fun playing games. Callie invited Lauren to go roller skating so Mommy took them and did homework while she waited. When we both got home, we went out and sold some more cookies. This time Mommy took me to the neighbors that weren't home yesterday and Daddy took Callie to a new street. We have both sold about 45 boxes so far!
1/30/2010	We were excited to get out and sell cookies today so around 11 Mommy and Callie went to the street next to us and Daddy and I went down our street. I guess 11 on a Saturday is a bad time though because most people were gone and the sidewalks were SOOO icy so we kept falling down. But I did sell some and so did Callie. She even had one lady stick her head out and yell "Are you out selling Girl Scout Cookies? Don't forget to come to my house!" and when they got there she bought six boxes! Mommy said we can try to go back out tomorrow afternoon and maybe we can get some more people home then. I practiced my "speech" at home first and I even wrote it out and carried it with me because I was really nervous but Daddy said I did pretty good. We ate supper with Charlie and Gloria. Her birthday was few days ago and Charlie and Daddy's is coming up so we celebrated and then they came over to play games and the Wii after Callie and I went to bed.
1/29/2010	Mommy was impressed - I wasn't crabby at all this morning! I was excited because today was the 100th Day of School. She came to visit around 9 because that is when we all had the first graders projects set up in the lunch room so parents adn other grades could walk around to look at them all. Everyone who came could buy a bag of popcorn for 25 cents so we could raise money for Haiti. We were hoping to get $100 but soon we could tell it might be more like $400. WELL it turned out after everyone came and my teacher counted the money, it was over $1,000!! Our school was very excited they raised that much money in just one hour with popcorn and projects. I even donated $4 of my own money from my piggy bank so Mommy was quite proud of me too.
1/28/2010	Mommy subbed today so Daddy had to finish getting us ready for school. Then when she got home she couldn't find us - even our backpacks weren't there so she started getting worried. She thought maybe the bus broke down or we both missed the bus so she called the school but they said no to both, although they did a loudspeaker call requesting us to come to the office just in case we were wandering around. She called our neighbor thinking maybe we couldn't get inside and went there but we weren't there either. She was starting to get a bit hysterical and called dad when she happened to look outside and saw us in the backyard playing - with our backpacks still on even! She had to call everyone back to let them know we were ok. I had hip hop and then we came ome for a quick supper because Mommy had PTA. Daddy had darts too but he left later than Mommy so we showered and read before he left. Mommy got home at 8 and put us to bed, which was kind of late for me so she is hoping I won't be too cranky for tomorrow.
1/27/2010	I was Super Reader at school today and I took a whole bunch of things from our trip that I showed too. My rocks I bought from Wall Drug, my Silerado Coin, a pinecone from our cabin, the Old Time Photo, and my journal that I read to them. I also had to take my 100 Day project because Friday is our 100th Day of School. I made a bead necklace using 100 beads. Callie is making a South Dakota scrapbook at school so she took all the pamphlets we picked up on our trip so she can use them. After school she had to write about a famous Native American and find a picture for her book too. I had Brooke over after school and we had lots of fun playing while Mommy and Callie did homework. After supper Daddy and I went to the store to pick out little snacks we can take Friday so everyone can make a Trail Mix with 100 things and Mommy took Callie to ballet.
1/26/2010	We slept in until almost 8am (which was 9 Central time) and Mommy freaked that she hadn't called the school yet! It turned out they were starting late (at 9) so they didn't even know we weren't there yet. We had breakfast and then packed up to head home but found out our truck was dead! Daddy and Mommy left a few things plugged in overnight and they totally drained our battery so we had to have someone come jumpstart us. Thankfully it didn't take too long and we were on the road. The interstate was great all the way home and so we picked up Miley right at 4 and then came home to unpack. It was a great trip but I am excited to get back to school and I think Callie is too! We took baths, packed our bag, and got to bed nice and early so we will be all ready for tomorrow.
1/25/2010	Sadly we woke up to our last morning in the cabin. Callie and I took a bath in the huge whirlpool bathtub while the grown ups packed everything up. It was still windy but not snowing anymore so the visibility was a little better. We did have to drive through some big drifts on the long drivway though! Once we got into Rapid City we stopped to get gas and Daddy checked the roads online and they did NOT look good. Everyone decided to head to the mall while they decided what to do. Daddy and Grandpa were thinking it was probably best to hold off on going home. Bridget and Coby's flight didn't leave until 4:30 so they wanted to go to a museum so we joined them. We met Grandma and Grandpa back at the mall and then all ate lunch together. After a little bit of shopping, Grandma & Grandpa took Bridget and Coby to the airport while we went to look for a motel. We found out the interstates were closing so we were very glad we had decided to stay rather than being forced off the road at a small town that didn't have a motel or something! We stayed at a motel that had a waterpark so we were pretty excited! Grandma and Grandpa joined us and came down to watch us swim! There was a lazy river and three huge water slides. I went down one of them a few times with Mommy and Daddy on a double tube. Callie went down two of them quite a few times and Mommy tried all three of them! We also swam in the regular pool and sat in the hot tub. After we dressed, we all headed to Fridays for supper and then back to the room for bed. Everyone was super tired!
1/24/2010	We woke up this morning to a terrible howling noise and found out it was really, really windy and had snowed overnight. The snow was blowing all over and it was very hard to see. However Bridget needed to email her professor and Mommy and Daddy were going through internet withdrawl so they had planned to head to a coffee shop to get online. They decided to still give it a try but they admitted the roads were awful and then it turned out the coffee shop and even Taco Johns was closed. They sat in the Super 8 Motel parking lot to get online and then headed home. We stayed at the cabin for the rest of the day because the weather just kept getting worse. We sat in the hot tub again but it was quite cold on our faces and there was something wrong with it too because the temperature was only 99 so that was our last time in it. Callie and I had lots of fun playing in the secret rooms while Bridget and Coby braved the cold to try and sled for awhile. The guys tried to watch football but the satellite TV kept cutting out. Coby taught Mommy and Bridget a new Scrabble game and even Callie joined them while I watched a movie on Mommy's laptop. They played a few more boardgames and then after giving up on TV they all played the Wii. Grandma and Grandpa got to be quite good at bowling!
1/23/2010	We slept in until 7 so Mommy was happy about that at least! Grandma made a big breakfast and then we just hung out at the cabin. I was getting crabby so Daddy and I took a nap. Callie and Mommy played pool and later Coby taught Callie how to play better. After I woke up, we all got ready to head to Deadwood for the afternoon and evening. We went to the car museum first to see Herbie and other neat movie memorabilia, including Harry Potter's magic wand. We stopped at a few gift stores and then Mommy and Bridget convinvced everyone to do an Old Time Photo - the guys were not so excited but they were nice enough to play along! We picked a gangster shoot and I picked out a great pink frilly dress with a boa and fun sheos with heels! They wanted me to hold a gun but Callie and I wanted NO part of that so we had purses and money bags instead. After the picture we had wanted to see the Adams museum but it had closed at 4:00 so we just missed it. The grown ups did some gambling in the casino and then we all ate supper at Siverado. Callie was very excited because it was all you can eat crab legs but I decided to just wait for a peanut butter sandwich when we got home. We stopped at a kid's arcade after dinner, picked up our photos, and headed back to the cabin. I had supper and then Bridget gave us Christmas gifts before we went to bed. The grown ups stayed up and played the Wii again so I guess it is a good thing Daddy brought that!
1/22/2010	Callie and I were up at 6 AM (we were sure to point out to Mommy that it was 7am our time) but we tried to play quietly in our secret rooms. We took our American Girls up there and played house. Everyone else got up around 7 and started getting ready for our big day. Grandma and Grandpa stayed behind but the rest of us went to Terry Peak so we could get a full day of skiing in. Mommy and Daddy signed us up for a group lesson from 10 to 12 but since no one else came, it turned into a private lesson! First we had to get fitted for skis and boots and then we met our teacher, Scooter. He was super nice so Daddy left to go meet up with Mommy. They skiied down a few easy hills to remember how (it has been 12 or more years since they last skiied) and then they joined Bridget and Coby. Every once in awhile they came by the bunny hill to watch us and take some pictures and then Grandma and Grandpa even came to watch the last part of it too. Mommy and Daddy picked us up at noon and we all ate lunch. We were both excited to go back outside and ski some more so Mommy and Daddy took us to the bunny hill for some more skiing. I LOVED it so much I asked if we were coming back tomorrow! Callie finally decided to try the big hill with Daddy but she went a bit too fast and it was scary so she decided she was done with that for today. I was too scared of the chair lift (not the hill though) so I stayed away from that too. But we were quite the pros on the bunny hill and the magic carpet that took us back up. Daddy stayed with us while Mommy skiied with Bridget and Coby. Once we were tired out we joined Grandma and Grandpa in the lodge (and Bridget was quitting about then too) so Daddy, Mommy, and Coby went out. Daddy was sore then so Mommy and Coby took in a few last runs and we all headed home for the hot tub! Grandpa made onion rings and grilled and then we went to bed while the grown ups played the Wii.
1/21/2010	Daddy took Miley to Top Dog while we packed the truck and we were on the road by 9:30! Poor Skittles will be ALL alone so Mommy is a tad worried about her but someone will check on her (although she tends to hide so most likely they won' be able to find her anyway). We stopped for lunch along the way and then stopped at Wall Drug for a bit but not much of it was open since it is winter. We found our cabin around 4:30 and had great fun exploring it. It was beautiful with five bedrooms, three bathrooms, three living room areas (one with a pool table and two had fireplaces) and a hot tub outside. Callie and I picked our bedroom - it had a closet with a door to a secret room, tunnel and another secret room! We thought it was so exciting! AND our bedroom had a window that opened up to the living room below us. Grandma and Grandpa Robinson picked up Bridget and her boyfriend, Coby, from the airport, stopped at the grocery store, and then headed to the cabin. In the meantime, Daddy went to pick up pizza and pop so we could eat when they showed up. We had to show them around of course and then after visiting for awhile, Mommy said we had to go to bed. We were still on Central time and Mommy wanted us to be well rested before skiing tomorrow! Bridget and Coby had to wake up at 3:30 to get on their flight so they were tired too so everyone went to bed early I guess.
1/20/2010	Today was the last day that Mommy subbed and our last day of school so we were excited! We packed everything up when we got home and made sure we were all ready to go tomorrow!
1/18/2010	No School today so we woke up and started playing (with a little bit of fighting intermixed). Mommy had to take the truck in for an oil change and run some errands and we didn't want to go so we stayed home and played. Once she came home we went outside to play and were out there almost 2 hours we were having so much fun! She made us hot cocoa and warm cookies when we got in - yummy. After supper we played xbox with Daddy while she walked Miley and then it was time to get ready for school tomorrow and head to bed.
1/17/2010	We had Sunday School today and I helped make a pie in my rotation and then we got to eat it but I wasn't so sure I liked it. We went to Sam's club afterwards and Mommy ran to Michaels to get some last minute scrapbook things. After lunch the Girl Scouts had a Scrapbook Sunday at the community center. Mommy had all the pictures printed from their trip to Omaha, their dance with the dads, the cookie class with the moms, and their Christmas party so they kept very busy. We decided to go out for supper when they got home and then Callie and I had slept in the guest room tonight!
1/16/2010	Happy Birthday Grandma Ivey! We had a lot of fun playing today. Mommy worked around the house and Daddy played his new video game. Mommy showed us pictures of the cabin we will be staying at when we go to the hills so I am getting very excited! We also met Amber and Jace for some ice skating this afternoon. Well Jace didn't fit into the rental skates so he just played and let Daddy push him on the ice which he thought was great fun. Mommy decided to just watch too so just me, Callie, and Amber actually skated but we did great! They didn't have the walker you pushed around but we cruised without them anyway!
1/15/2010	Happy Birthday Great Grandpa! Mommy had a big day in her class today because it was their alphabet stations, alphabet parade, and alphabet feast day. The kids were super excited all day to put on their costumes and lots of parents came to help after lunch so that was good. Everything went ok I guess - they paraded through music class (which is where I was) so I saw all the neat ideas they came up with! Callie saw them too. Mommy was super tired tonight so Daddy brought home pizza before he left for darts - it was a doubles tournament tonight.
1/14/2010	Callie and I came home right away after school so Mommy could set up for her big day tomorrow and so I could have my snack and get ready for Hip Hop. She came home to pick us and up and then took me to dance. We are learning a new song from the Squeakquel soundtrack!
1/13/2010	Another sad day at our house. When we got home from school, Daddy was home to take Shelby to the vet with Mommy. They were both very, very sad since they adopted Shelby and Haley almost 12 years ago and it won't be the same watching TV without them on their laps. Poor Skittles is all by herself now - well she has Miley but I don't know if she thinks Miley is a very good playmate!
1/12/2010	Callie had her play today! This morning she put it on for the kindergarteners so Mommy saw it but I didn't. She put it on for everyone tonight though so I saw it then and she did a great job! It was a play about a skeleton - someone knoocked it over and they had to put all the bones back together and then the nerves and muscles could be protected and supported again. Callie was a nerve!
1/11/2010	Mommy subbed today at our school - she will be there all week and part of next week too! I was crabby of course so this morning was difficult to say the least - I think Mommy was glad she had to leave early and Daddy had to take over. We had Daisies after school and we learned about being responsible for what we say and do so we played a game and read a book and colored. We also started talking about selling cookies because that is coming up! Mommy made supper right away tonight so I could get in bed by 6 to read and I was asleep by 6:30! Mommy and Daddy were going to take Shelby into the vet tonight but that didn't work out so well but she isn't doing any better and I guess it is time to say our good byes pretty soon.
1/10/2010	We slept in until 8 this morning so Mommy was happy about that. We had to shower and then get ready for Sunday School - this rotation is about baptism. I did experiments with colored ice cubes and water and talked about the Titanic (besides the obvious water theme, Mommy isn't sure how this ties into baptism and I couldn't remember either) and Callie played games. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a coffee date and then we all went grocery shopping afterwards and picked out things for our lunches. Mommy is subbing all week so she was trying to think of lunches and suppers ahead of time. After lunch they told me I had to nap because we would be up late for the play so Mommy and Callie went shopping while Daddy laid down with me. It took a bit but finally I fell asleep for almost two hours so that was good. Callie and Mommy found new jeans for both of us and a few tops that were on sale too so I guess they had a good time. We played in the snow when I woke up and Mommy made supper and then it was time to go! Tonight was the play, Annie, that Mommy & Daddy got us tickets for! It was really good although our seats were pretty high up and I told Mommy it made me feel funny. It was 9:50 when it got over so that is VERY LATE for both of us - hopefully we won't be cranky tomorrow!
1/9/2010	The girls were up at 7 and I was up by 7:30. Mommy made muffins for breakfast so we ate and then played the Wii together - band hero and I sang for them. Camille's mom picked her up at 10 and not too long after that, Karissa called and invited Callie to play over there! We dropped her off and then went to run errands until about 2 when we picked her up. Mommy was hoping to get us in bed early but it was still almost 8 before that happened.
1/8/2010	No School Again! We were very excited although Mommy was not so happy because we started fighting a lot again. Daddy had to go to work so she was on her own dealing with us. She reminded us we couldn't have a sleepover if we weren't good so that helped. After lunch she found me some TV to watch and Callie played the computer because she had a meeting at the school with the teacher she is subbing for all next week. She came home and we were so excited because it was getting closer to 4 when our friends were coming over. Callie invited Camille so I asked her sister Ella to come. Ella just came until 8 but Camille stayed overnight. We played until Daddy got home and then we all went to Dairy Queen for supper and ice cream too of course. Ella and I played school when we came back home while Callie and Camille played the Wii. After Ella left, Mommy played one short boardgame with me and then I had to go to bed. Callie and Camille stayed up until almost 11 playing their DSs and drawing pictures. They slept in the guest bedroom so at 11 Mommy had them get in bed and they read and talked until almost midnight!
1/7/2010	School was cancelled!! We were so happy that we just started playing barbies right away so Mommy called Dena and mentioned how great we were being. WELL as soon as she hung up we started fighting big time and that pretty much continued until after lunchtime. Daddy surprised us by coming home not to long after he left for work - apparently they closed the office and Daddy hadn't thought to check his email otherwise he would have known and not had to drive all that way. We played the Wii and then we painted our tea set Grandma Robinson gave us for our American Girls. They turned out really cute! We helped Mommy make brownies too. Mommy made chili for supper (yuck!) so I had a hot dog instead of course. OH and Shelby slept with Callie for awhile this morning so that made her happy. She ate a tiny bit today but otherwise she is pretty much doing the same - not so great. My dance was cancelled too and Mommy's cookie meeting was too but poor Daddy still had to go out in the cold for darts.
1/6/2010	The roads were really bad today from the snow/ice so it took Daddy a long time to get us to school. He made the mistake of telling us the bell would ring in one minute when he dropped us off so I plowed over Callie to get out of the car and ran to my door without waiting for her! I get very uptight about being late (of course that doesn't seem to get me to move any faster on days I am dawdling). We wanted a playdate when we got home but Mommy had the car (Daddy came home at lunch to switch otherwise he didn't think he would get home with it at 5) so she said we had to find someone would could get here. Callie didn't have any luck but Alisha's mom dropped her off until supper. Callie's ballet was cancelled tonight so Mommy was glad we didn't have to go out in the cold - it is supposed to get very very cold overnight so Mommy is guessing we will have a late start tomorrow.
1/5/2010	I was horribly tired this morning and told Mommy she needed to stay in my room while I dressed otherwise I might fall asleep. It was a difficult morning and Mommy was very happy to be invited for a coffee date with Kim so she could go relax after everyone was gone. She came home and cleaned out my room and organized a bit and boy was I NOT happy about it when I got home. I don't like things moved and I had to organize it back the way I like it but at least it was still clean so Mommy clenched her teeth and smiled while I did it. Can you tell that Mommy and I are very much the same kind of person and like things only ONE way (unfortunately our "one" way is not the same). By the way I rode the bus home alone today! We picked up Callie from play rehearsal at 4 and she had a lot of homework so she started on that right away.
1/4/2010	No one wanted to get up this morning - even Mommy and Daddy had been spoiled with sleeping in so it was not fun when our alarms went off. But I was actually in a pretty good mood once I woke up so Mommy was relieved there weren't any tantrums in the house this morning. Callie had Girl Scouts after school and I was in a good mood there too. They finished up two patches they have been working on so it was a bit boring for me but I kept busy drawing on the white board and helping Mommy clean up. We stopped at home to let Miley out, check on Shelby (she is not eating at all anymore), and get the presents, and then we headed to Uncle Tom's and Amber's for dinner and a late Christmas! Daddy picked up subs for everyone and met us there. We ate and then it was gift time. Jace opened his first gift from Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jon and it was a toaster, blender, and coffee pot! He loved it SOO much that he didn't want to open any of our gifts. Finally he opened one and it was a stuffed Diego and then he "fed" Diego and Amber had to open the rest of them. He was sure cute to watch and had lots of fun playing - he even poured Mommy some coffee with new pot. It was a 7:30 by the time I got in bed and we still had to read my book and I was crying about everything so Mommy knows tomorrow morning will not be as smooth as this morning was.
1/3/2010	Mommy took the Christmas tree down today and Daddy had to carry everything downstairs for her in between his video games. Today is our last day of vacation. We went to Chuck E Cheese for lunch (and apparently everyone else thought would be a good idea too) so we had fun playing games and then Callie and I combined our tickets and got clay for our prize. We came home and played with that for a long time! We had an early supper and then Mommy got me in bed early tonight so I wouldn't be too tired for school tomorrow. Callie had a hard time going to bed because she has been so used to staying up later so Mommy is afraid she might be tired tomorrow!
1/2/2010	Mommy started taking some Christmas things down and tried to get laundry started too. Daddy took us shopping for a bit today but mostly we stayed home and played. Mommy got new dishes for Christmas so she was excited to reorganize her cupboards and take all the old ones out and put the new ones in. She even made supper and we ate on the new ones tonight!
1/1/2010	Happy 2010! We went to Aberdeen today! Mommy and Daddy woke up early and had the car filled up with gas and donuts and milk bought so when we got up, we just had to brush our teeth and get buckled in. I didn't even dress - Mommy threw my clothes in the truck. Miley even laid in the way back on a bed Mommy made out of blankets - usually she tries to sit in the middle of us and ends up sitting on our DS or something that makes us mad. We picked up lunch and took it to Grandma and Grandpa Ivey's house first and visited with them. Then we headed to Great Grandma Ivey's and saw her for awhile before heading to Great Grandma and Grandpa Anglin's house. It was almost supper time when we got to Grandma and Grandpa Robinson's house so we ate pizza with them and opened gifts. I was crazy hyper like my house and just wanted to keep opening the next one and the next one! We played for a bit and then it was time to head home. We got in our pjs before heading to the car so we could sleep on the way home and we were both asleep by 8:30. It was a fun trip and a nice way to start our New Year!
